A mysterious disappearance followed by a return would generate significant public buzz for Alex Jones.

People are offended by Alex Jones because he continues to traffic in disproven theories after they have been debunked.

Like, this idea that people went bonker town, it's because you're hurting these people. This is, like, of course people would be very offended by you still trafficking in these theories after they have been disproven, debunked, explained, and you've had to go through a years-long process where people tried to explain to you why it was bad what you're doing. Like, this is, of course, of course, if you get sued over all this shit.
