A talk show host on the Genesis Communications Network was scammed by a Nigerian email scam.

I knew a talk show host on GCN who was a young guy, pretty popular, having a good effect, did a good show. Name's Alex Jones. He emailed him and said, we have got a major investment for your radio show. So he started trying to raise money on air. They wanted like $100,000. And they were going to give him like whatever millions it was. I forget the exact numbers. And he raised the money, gave it to him, and when they screwed him, I call into the show.

The Genesis Communications Network accepts advertising from websites that promote anti-Semitic conspiracy theories.

On the one hand, this is a deeply pathetic state of affairs that Alex's radio syndication would stoop to accepting an ad from a website like this that doesn't actually appear to be selling anything. Nope. On the other hand, it's deeply disturbing as a thing for them to be intentionally or accidentally promoting to their audience. This website is explicitly accusing people, everyone who has AB blood type, of being part of a conspiracy to kill off the public and that they need to be rounded up. That seems a little irresponsible.

Alex Jones's show is not the most widely syndicated show on Genesis Communications Network.

I said that Alex was the most popular show on the Genesis Communications Network. I guess I just kind of always assumed he was, since he's the largest profile host on the network. But going through those affiliate lists, he's not the most widely syndicated show on GCN.

Critics accusing Alex Jones of covering up the bird flu story originated from a Genesis Communications Network radio show.

But it's interesting because Alex can trace back where this criticism of him online is coming from. And lo and behold, it's another GCN talk show. Then I go to Infowars.com, read the comments, you're covering it up! Spamming every, you know, page. And I'm like, okay, let me look at it. So I sit there and I listen to it. And it's a caller to a Genesis radio show.

Genesis Communications Network is a discredited outlet that functions as an advertising arm for Midas Resources to sell gold.

You have a show that's distributed by Genesis Communications Network, which is owned by Ted Anderson, who owns Midas Resources, who in interviews has said that he created Genesis Communications Network as a... Advertising arm of Midas Resources, where he sells gold. You have people on all the time who just try and create panics to sell gold. So, I mean, we can play that game. Genesis Communications is a thoroughly discredited outlet.
