Russian soldiers invading Ukraine were convinced by propaganda that the Ukrainian people wanted to be liberated and would welcome them.

Like a good example of this is Ukraine. A lot of the Russians who went to fight in Ukraine in the early days, I think the truth is out now, but when they were first invading, they were told that the people of Ukraine want to be liberated. You're going to be a hero. You're going to go over there. Like they desperately want Russia to save them and reunify them. And it's just this, you know, Kyiv-led, you know, cabal funded by the West that's barely holding on to the country and keeping and staying in power. And people in Russia really believed that. Like the guys who were fighting on the front lines, the guys who were flying tanks and helicopters, they believed it.

Alex Jones falsely claims he did not believe Russian guests who denied an invasion of Ukraine.

The past is just so malleable to him that he creates in his head what he wishes had been the behavior that he displayed. And then he's like, yeah, I had Russian disinformation people coming on the show and they're saying they weren't going to invade and I didn't believe that shit. I called them out on air. He was saying they weren't going to invade. He was saying they're not going to invade. He was praising Putin.

The West enticed Putin to invade Ukraine after eight years of proxy war, placing the world on the precipice of thermonuclear war.

Or is it Russia on February 24th invading Ukraine after eight years of the West proxy war, enticing Putin to take that dangerous plunge while being on the precipice of thermonuclear war on the ladder of the Rand Corporation's escalation chart?

Putin paid off the Ukrainian military leadership to ensure there was no real resistance during the invasion.

Putin's troops raise Russian flag in Ukraine as Z-tanks. Which have come from the east, and O-tanks that come from Belarus, enter deeper into the nation. And there is no real resistance, because just like the U.S. bought off the Iraqi leadership in Gulf War I and Gulf War II, 90 plus percent of their generals, you see that Putin has already done his work. What? And has already paid off the Ukrainian military, and that's why the Russians know they can roll right in and face almost no resistance.
