Greg Reese quit. He put on Twitter that he quit.

Also, I noticed that a large amount of the B-roll and little clips like this don't come from their actual full source, which is to say that Greg didn't pull this from an Israeli TV show. This is one of the clips that's frequently on YouTube and videos argue that Israel did 9-11, and Greg is just kind of cribbing from those, or more likely Alex's documentary Fabled Enemies. A lot of this footage is just repackaged from Alex's old documentaries.
So Greg has wallowed around in old Israel, did 9-11 conspiracy lore, and come off like a big dum-dum, but he really hasn't demonstrated anything in this report at all. And the title of this video is, quote, The Zionist Death Grip on the United States Government. That is absolutely not a title that this thing justifies. And honestly, it's shameful work. This is... Garbage.
It should really concern any of Reese's viewers that he seems to be citing the Canadian government, but also saying that posts on social media seem to indicate that this is true. Like, that's not good. And it should tell you that Greg did zero research on this subject past looking at some social media posts.
I point this out because it's important to understand that the fake letter that Reese is talking about isn't just a fake letter. It's a fake letter being written by an anti-Semite to push an anti-Semitic conspiracy theory. So whether he realizes it or not, what Reese is doing is taking an anti-Semitic hoax, which uses earlier anti-Semitic hoaxes as citations, and using it to suggest to his audience that... While it's demonstrably not a real letter that Albert Pike wrote, maybe there's an underlying truth to it.
So Greg Reese comes in, and he makes a slick video packaging the claims of this website in a form that has the ability to scare and intrigue people. This video is also something that Alex can use, because the site itself is too formless for Alex to really get a grasp on. There's no holds for him to grab onto. He needs concise talking points, as opposed to a sprawling website full of insane nonsense. Reese's video provides him with those talking points, and he can go forward from there.
