Working difficult, undesirable jobs builds character and discipline that can be applied to other areas of life.

And it's hard to because when you're young and you're going through these difficult jobs and these things that suck, and you don't know how it's going to turn out. You know, and a lot of times people aren't really educated in what a process actually is and about how it does develop character, it does develop discipline, and these things are actual skills that you can apply to other things in life. You just think, God, I'm a fucking loser.

Alex Jones does no preparation for his show because he does not care about the quality of his product.

Anyway, this is an indication of Alex's work process. He does literally no preparation for the show because he doesn't give a shit about the quality of the product he's making. He knows that the audience is captured and they don't require much of him. So he's just freestyling this bullshit out while pretending to be friends with Keanu.

Alex Jones prepares excessively for his shows by reading thousands of pages and watching hundreds of videos.

And if I have to, I'll push the great Owen Schroyer back in 30 minutes so I can cover all this because I got ready to cover all this and I got prepared probably a little too much. Anytime I prepare 15 hours for a show, it's the weekend. But I don't ever stop working. I apologize. I have to learn. I've got to just prepare for a couple hours. That's enough. Instead of literally reading three times more than what you see on my desk here, I read. At least three times. Thousands of pages. And thousands of videos and photos. Hundreds of videos. I just, oh my God.
