Alex Jones is an unreliable source of information because he does not read past headlines.

Alex doesn't read past headlines and thus just has a surface level grasp of most of the stories he covers. That's kind of unfortunate for him, but it becomes a big problem when these flawed interpretations of stories are passed along to his audience as some kind of gospel truth. Just using this example, if you believe Alex, then you think that 95% of flags in our country are imported when the exact opposite is true. What I'm getting at is that he's an unreliable source of information because he doesn't have good methods to take his information in.

Alex Jones's method of creating content is unreliable because he often misunderstands the subjects he covers due to a lack of effort.

When you're dealing with someone like Alex who disseminates consistently shitty information, one of the critical things to pay attention to is how the information makes it from the starting point in a primary source to its destination as a thing that Alex is reporting on his show. If you do pay attention and read the primary sources that he's using, you'll almost always find that underneath his outrage, there's nothing more than him not understanding the subject he's covering, often due to his unwillingness to put in the effort. The epistemological process that Alex uses to create his content is completely unreliable, and his correction really well illustrates how this exact same error that he made here, it's one that he makes constantly.

Mort Kondracki is an unreliable source who uncritically airs conservative propaganda.

He has a pattern of uncritically airing conservative propaganda pieces as news on his Fox shows. He's had a couple of shows on Fox. Hero. One from the Center of Security Policy and one for Progress for America in particular. He's equated NSA domestic spying with World War II code breaking. That is dumb on an offensive level. Right. That's the dumbest take I have ever heard. It's hot. He was saying it's okay. I have not used the word flabbergasted in a long time. But that flabbergasts me in the present tense. I think anyone who was watching the video could see that in your face. Just a, whoa. That's bananas. He's also been pushing. Does that suggest that we're fighting a war against our own people? Absolutely. That's exactly what that means. Uh-huh. Yep. That's the subtext. All right. He's also been pushing for war with Iran since at least 2005, 2006. Because he's a hero. Right. So I don't take him necessarily as a great source.
