Yeah, that's why there is the flood. The earth was filled with the violence of the Nephilim. And that was the reason of the flood.

The original reason that God flooded the earth was sexual immorality. What does the Pope have to say about that? I'm pretty sure what he has to say about that is, don't worry about it. It's fine.

God liked Noah because he was unlike the rest of the people. From Genesis 6, 11, quote, now the earth was corrupt in God's sight and was full of violence. God saw how corrupt the earth had become, for all the people on earth had corrupted their ways. So God said to Noah, I'm going to put an end to all people, for the earth is filled with violence because of them. Twice in three verses, the complaint of violence is raised in relation to God's decision to kill everyone off with the flood, and weirdly, sexual impropriety isn't brought up at all.

Well, the most recent statistics, in fact, there's scientific groups that are working on this. They're called the Holocene Impact Group because they think a meteor hit the earth and that's what caused the flood because they have evidence of a great flood. They date this to 4,800 to 4,900. They date this to 2,800 to 2,900 B.C. What am I saying all these numbers for?
