Alex Jones uses his show to justify drinking by claiming he is high on the Holy Spirit.

That's the part that's really difficult for me is that like I get my empathy triggered at the beginning of that 10th episode when he's talking about how he's addicted to this anger and it's a problem for him and he wants to do better. Then you start to realize maybe that's only in service of trying to justify the drinking in order to dull the righteous anger that he has and the clarity.

Alex Jones rationalizes his aggressive Islamophobic rants as just having fun and not taking himself too seriously.

Such a horrible rationalization for his petulant outbursts. And like, oh, I just let myself off the chain just having a little bit of fun. That's what you described aggressively Islamophobic rants. That's how you describe it. Just having some fun.
