Proper surveillance of mosques and other locations is necessary to identify evil actors.

And, you know, it all started because I said, we need surveillance. We need proper surveillance. We have people that truly are evil, and they're coming from someplace, and you know, sort of where they're coming from, at least the vicinity. And I said, we need proper surveillance, whether it's a mosque or any place else. We have to be surveilled and we have to see what's coming at us.

Trump's advocacy for surveilling mosques contradicts Alex Jones's stated principles regarding freedom of religion and the Fourth Amendment.

Also, Alex should be really against Trump's idea of surveilling mosques. That seems wildly against Alex's principles about freedom of religion and the Fourth Amendment, but I guess he doesn't really care about those things too much when the group being targeted is someone other than himself. And you have Trump essentially arguing for increased surveillance in a way that Alex would decry as tyranny in any other context. And instead of giving any pushback, he's just right along with Trump in it.
