For Alex Jones and similar media figures, the fun is in blaming others rather than taking responsibility.

I think one thing that I think people need to understand most about the media and the politicians in this particular circumstance is that the fun is in not winning. For Alex, yeah. See what I'm saying? The fun is in being not responsible for anything that's going on. Oh, it's their fault! The fun is in being like, these people are bad! The fun is not in being like, we should do stuff.

Mike Adams generates entertainment value by scaring people, which drives sales rather than providing factual news.

But on the other hand, if you recognize that he knows that the entertainment value is having Mike Adams scare people, then you kind of get that, oh, this is what drives sales as opposed to people being disappointed by news stories not living up to the way you're teasing them.

Well, you'd do that, or you'd recognize that, like, he does bring up repeatedly that their last interview got a lot of traffic. And the one where Steve was on with Owen saying that the election was a sting operation. Sure, sure, sure. That got a lot of traffic. And so I think that Alex has that motivation, like an attention economy type of motivation. Because of course he does. Yeah. And so Alex will take like a little bit of this if it means a couple hundred thousand views more. That's true.
