Well, it's because they actually have access to the information that shows that Pelosi, McConnell, and others set us up and let us take the fall in order to try to take down Donald Trump.
That the FBI was the ones that caused the insurrection. Check mark.
One thing that's going to be difficult to get around is that the original trial that led to this Colorado Supreme Court decision, part of it was they found, quote, by clear and convincing evidence that the events of January 6th constituted an insurrection and President Trump engaged in that insurrection. That goes a long way towards clearing up some of the confusion about terms and definitions and linguistics.
So one of the undertow, the long, the essay that is at the heart of the book is after Ashley Babbitt, 35-year-old white woman, leads a charge in the Capitol on January 6th and gets shot by a cop who happens to be black, and that plays right into the sort of the American mythology of the lynching story.
You don't see people hiding bombs or using bayonets or firing weapons, trying to take over the country in an insurrection. You see people walking around and taking pictures. They don't look like terrorists. They look like tourists.
