Michael Pollan had an experience in his garden where he got the impression that plants were conscious.

The other was I had an experience in my garden in Connecticut where we have a house of walking through my garden and getting the powerful impression that the plants were conscious. And that these, I remember this particular, it was a plume poppy, or several plume poppies, and they were like returning my gaze. They were very benevolent. They were, you know, putting out positive vibes, but like they were conscious, much more alive than they'd ever been.

Plants can learn behaviors and remember them for 28 days.

Also, you can teach a plant a certain behavior, and it will remember for 28 days. So, they do this thing with sensitive plants. You may have seen them in Hawaii, actually. It's a tropical plant. When you touch it, the leaves collapse to keep from being eaten. It's called mimosa pudica. And normally, if you shake it, it'll also do this. And if you shake it repeatedly, it learns to ignore that stimulus, and it will remember 28 days, and it won't react when you do it.

Alex Jones claims plants die if treated with hate or negative music but grow if loved and given positive music.

So they've had studies for 100 years that if you're loving to a tree and loving to a plant, even if you give it the same amount of water, same amount of light in the same room, if you go up and tell a plant I hate you and scream at it and play Slayer or Slipknot to it, it dies. Seriously. If you play it Beethoven and tell you it love it, it just grows and grows and grows and starts having babies and everything else. And it starts going to seed.

Plants release chemicals to make themselves disgusting when being consumed.

And one of the things they found is that if, like, say if a giraffe is eating certain bushes and they're eating them upwind, and so the wind comes down and the other plants recognize that they're being consumed, and so they change their chemical profile to make them disgusting.
