They recognized that Trump was not an ideologue. He really was a demagogue the whole time by definition.

Alex presents himself as being above the left right paradigm because he wants you to think that he's talking about Democrat, Republican, Yeah, yeah, yeah. That's what he wants you to think. But that's not what he's talking about. It's important to recognize that. And recognize that he's a liar. Yeah. When he says that he's above the left-right paradigm, what he's actually saying is that he hates government. But he lacks the political depth to coherently advocate for the form of anarchy that he would prefer.
But he lacks the political depth to coherently advocate for the form of anarchy that he would prefer. And so he just pretends that the answer is a constitutional republic.
He's so close to realizing what everybody knew in 2015, what he knew in 2015, which is that Trump was grifting them. He's a liar lying to you to make his own money.
And so I think Alex is seeing that, and he's like, shit. And so now there's the Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, who's won this race in New York as a Democratic socialist and unseated the person who was, everyone keeps saying, was in line for possible House Speaker. Yeah, which also means giant piece of shit. Right, but you have this, and Alex, he's not that dumb to not see the writing on the wall. Right. Whereas Trump wants to put up the front of like, hey, this super powerful Democrat lost his primary race. Alex is kind of, he has to realize like, hey, that was a fucking socialist who beat a very popular, entrenched Democrat that means more to him. So I think he's just really scared, and he's going to be lashing out and yelling a bunch of shit, and who cares?
