Joe Rogan Calls Biden A "Dead Man" Alluding To A Trump 2024 Victory, Trump May Announce HE'S RUNNING
Joe Rogan Calls Biden A "Dead Man" Alluding To A Trump 2024 Victory, Trump May Announce HE'S RUNNING. Rogan says he hasn't had Trump on his show because he does not want to help him.
But Rogan is correct and Trump may announce he's running for the presidency in 2024 early according to several reports. If Trump does announce it could set back Ron DeSantis who would either have to go the VP route seeing a Trump DeSantis 2024 ticket or bow out until next time.
Biden would be pressured to stay in the race or be forced to concede to trump before even getting started.
Meanwhile the country continues down its pat toward some kind of civil war as chaos erupts in the streets and people have no sense of nation anymore.

Joe Rogan says that Joe Biden is a dead man, but not like a threat.
He's saying that basically Donald Trump would be running against a dude who's not all with it, kind of saying if Donald Trump runs in 2024, he is going to win.
But Rogan also says he doesn't want to help him.
That's why he won't have him on the show.
Meanwhile, this country is starting to break down and fall apart.
Donald Trump may actually announce he's going to be running early, but the left is already losing their minds, and I kind of feel like this country is going to be ripped to shreds.
In our next story, tragedy out of Highland Park, Illinois.
This is a tough issue, but I want to talk about the deep narcissism of our generation and why things like this may be happening.
And in our last story, Dave Rubin suspended from Twitter for essentially defending Jordan Peterson.
Yo, they are getting desperate.

♪♪ Joe Rogan says that Biden is a dead man,
but not like a threat.
He was actually asked about Donald Trump.
Speaking on the Lex Friedman podcast just the other day, Joe Rogan was asked about whether he thought Donald Trump would run for the presidency in 2024.
And if he did, would he win?
Joe Rogan said, well, he's running against a dead man.
So not in a threatening way.
He's saying Joe Biden is not all with it.
His brain don't work.
He's not functioning.
How could he possibly win?
And I agree.
I think Joe Rogan is correct.
Joe Biden is going to get absolutely crushed by Donald Trump.
And here's the big news.
Donald Trump is apparently set to announce he is running for the presidency again early.
I wonder why, but I thought something like this would happen.
That Donald Trump would get out in front of the presidential primaries for the Democrats, try and put the Democrats in a tough position, because Trump is going to come out.
He's already been rallying.
He's going to say, look at what it was like under me.
Look where you are now.
Biden is to blame.
And I think Trump wants to do it before anything really bad happens to Joe Biden, because Rogan is correct.
Well, you know, when he's talking about Biden not being functioning, he's correct.
Maybe Biden won't make it to the end of his term.
I think he will.
Maybe he won't be able to campaign again for re-election.
So Donald Trump wants to exploit that.
Think about it.
Donald Trump comes out and says, I'm going to be running for the presidency 2024.
You know it.
I'll be running against Joe Biden.
And then what happens when Joe Biden says, I can't do it?
He's going to say, see, the Democrats are weak.
You must vote for me.
It would be very, very good for Donald Trump.
So the question is, though, why hasn't Donald Trump appeared on Joe Rogan's show?
Well, Joe Rogan pointed out.
He's saying, I don't want to help him.
Rogan doesn't want to help Donald Trump win the presidency.
He's not a big fan.
But that doesn't stop the left from saying Joe Rogan is right-wing.
No, I think Rogan is the barometer for regular Americans.
And him pointing out that Joe Biden is not all with it is not profound.
Joe Biden's aggregate approval rating is in the gutter.
It is abysmal.
Lower than some of Trump's lowest ratings.
Not the lowest, but very low.
Donald Trump.
Things were going pretty well under him economically.
But Joe Rogan did say something else.
He said that Ron DeSantis would be a good president.
If you take a look at what was going on in Florida, how DeSantis handled it, he did a pretty good job.
And again, Rogan is correct.
Ron DeSantis balanced freedom with security.
Not perfectly, but he got Florida back open.
He looked at the science and said, we're backing off.
Now you got people like Gavin Newsom saying, you don't want to be like Florida, be like us where we believe in freedom.
And they arrested a guy who was like paddle boarding by himself in the ocean?
No.
California certainly doesn't believe in freedom.
But whether or not Donald Trump will be able to run is another question.
Because it's starting to look like criminal charges may be filed against Trump.
There's some subpoenas being filed against Trump's inner circle.
Many are speculating that Trump will be indicted, so perhaps this is the real reason Donald Trump is going to be announcing early.
Now, we don't know for sure, but things are certainly getting spicy either way.
If they actually levy criminal charges against Trump to stop him from running, I mean, half this country is going to lose their minds.
The other half is already losing their minds.
We've got crazy, let's just say, acts of terror happening over this past weekend, plus all those pregnancy centers being firebombed.
Yo, we are in for a wild next couple of years.
One of the more interesting things I find about Joe Rogan's interview with Lex Friedman was how he points out that this is a very weird time.
That the Trump era was a very weird time.
As if to say, it is leaving us behind.
But I'll say this, Joe.
You're right about so much.
Absolutely.
But there's a sense of finality in how you express your ideas.
As if to say, the Trump era is coming to a close.
No, I don't think it's coming to a close.
I don't think times are weird.
I think they're escalating.
I think it's getting crazier.
And I wish I could say I was wrong.
But you take a look at what's going on with Roe v. Wade, the protests, the anger.
Look, I've got a video out of Minneapolis, where people are driving around in cars, firing fireworks at random people.
I mean, it is breaking down.
In Philadelphia the other day, people running and screaming.
You know what happened in Highland Park?
I don't think the Trump era was weird.
I think the Trump era was a symptom of the breakdown, and the breakdown is going to keep happening.
And it will only get weirder, and it will only get scarier.
Well, let's read the story and see exactly what's going on, and we'll talk about Trump and Biden and these criminal charges.

Let's first see what Joe Rogan had to say.
We got this from the Daily Wire.
Quote, I don't want to help him.
Joe Rogan says he shot down the chance to interview Trump more than once.
Now, the interesting thing is here.
What's going on with Joe Biden?
Popular podcast host Joe Rogan said Monday that he'd shot down several opportunities to interview former President Trump, saying, I don't want to help him.
Discussing politics, Rogan said, The Trump era is going to be one of the weirder times.
When people look back historically about the division in this country, he's such a polarizing figure that so many people felt like they could abandon their own ethics and morals and principles just to attack him and anybody who supports him because he's an existential threat to democracy itself.
Friedman asked whether Rogan believed Trump had caused the division.
Or that he was more like a symptom of the division that had already been present beneath the surface.
Quote, you said it got real weird.
Maybe it's going to get weirder, Friedman said, at which point Rogan posited that Trump was likely to run for president again in 2024.
Quote, well, he's running against a dead man.
You know, I mean, Biden shakes hands with people that aren't even there when he gets off stage.
I think he's seeing ghosts.
You see him on Jimmy Kimmel the other day.
He was just rambling.
I mean, he's if anyone else If he was a Republican, if that was Donald Trump doing that, doing that, every effing talk show would be screaming for him to be off the air.
Rogan then pivoted to make it clear that he was not a fan of Trump's.
By the way, I'm not a Trump supporter in any way, shape, or form.
I've had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once.
I've said no every time.
I don't want to help him.
I'm not interested in helping him.
Friedman pushed back, saying that he believed Trump would eventually make his way to the Joe Rogan experience someday because Rogan would not be able to resist.
I mean, you've had a lot of people that I think you might otherwise be skeptical.
Would I have a good conversation?
Which I think is your metric.
You don't care about politics, and I think you had like Kanye on, for example, and you had a great conversation with him.
Friedman argued.
Yeah, but Kanye's an artist.
Kanye doing well or not doing well doesn't change the course of our country.
Well, that leads me to a question about Joe Rogan's involvement.
That is an overtly political statement and an outright injection into politics.
I'm sorry, Joe.
There's no way around it.
For one, I always feel weird about doing segments talking about Joe Rogan's opinions because he's like a comedian with opinions.
But considering he has the most influential podcast in the world, we can't ignore it.
He's like the modern Larry King or Walter Cronkite or whatever you want to call it.
And so his opinion on these matters really does matter.
Now, when Joe says he won't interview Donald Trump because he doesn't want to help him, he's basically saying he's involved.
He knows that the people he interview benefit from his shows.
It's a fact.
I mean, I'm not acting like Joe's denying it or anything.
I mean, he knows he doesn't want to help Trump.
I don't look at it that way.
We've had people talk to us about having Donald Trump on TimCast IRL, and I say, absolutely, I'd love to.
I'd also love to have Joe Biden.
That'd be a fantastic show.
But we can't get many of those people, let alone Trump.
It's hard to get Trump.
I don't view having Trump on the show as helping Trump.
I don't view having Carrie Lake on the show as helping Carrie Lake, or Jen Perlman as helping Jen Perlman.
She's a progressive out of Florida.
I view it as, I want to talk to whoever I want to talk to.
That's it.
Now, the reality is many on the left won't talk.
They won't.
They'll make up excuses, or, you know, there are some grifters who will be like, I should be allowed on your show, and we'll have as many on as we can.
I want to have a real conversation with someone, not some stupid tribal pissing contest.
So, Joe's saying he won't interview Donald Trump.
Okay, fine.
We know Joe is massively influential, but he is right about Joe Biden.

Former President Trump has privately told his allies and aides in recent days that he is seriously considering announcing a 2024 presidential run early, as early as this summer.
Yes!
Smart move, Trump.
Do it.
You need to do it now.
We'll explain why in a second, but it has a lot to do with these BS indictments and the things they're going after him with, but here we go.
Trump's latest exploration of a political comeback and a potential summer announcement of another presidential campaign was first reported by the New York Times.
Even as Trump moves closer to a 2024 run, his deliberations remain fluid.
No final decision has been made on whether to run, and if so, when to launch such a bid, according to three people close to Trump who requested anonymity in order to share details on private conversations.
Spokespeople for Trump did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Sunday.
Now, I want to make a point, and give you my honest opinion on Joe Rogan.
I consider Joe Rogan a friend.
He's said the same of me.
We don't really talk all that often, but periodically, and I've been on his show several times, so I really do appreciate it.
It's thanks to Joe that I got a big boost in my viewership, and many of you probably found me through Joe.
So I'll say this.
I think Joe is much more concerned about political pressures than I am.
I think that Joe is a little bit behind where I'm at on political analyses.
That is not to say in any way disrespectful, that is not to say that he's doing anything wrong, and it's not to say in any way that I'm doing anything better.
I'm a politico, right?
I'm in the political world.
I'm reading this news front and center all day, every day.
Joe Rogan's a comedian.
He talks about spaceships and mushrooms and DMT.
He smokes pot with his friends.
It's very different.
For that reason, you'll likely see on my shows us addressing issues that ultimately wind up on the Rogan Experience maybe a few weeks later.
And for this, I think, you know, Rogan is a bit behind where the politicos are.
And again, not a statement of disrespect, a statement of fact, that it's not Joe's wheelhouse to be talking about all these things.
But that is to say that I do think Joe will eventually find his way closer to where we are, probably will interview Donald Trump, and might even consider voting for him begrudgingly.
Joe Rogan is a sensible guy.
He's a smart guy.
And I think if it came down to Donald Trump versus Joe Biden, Rogan would probably vote for Donald Trump, not liking him.
And I understand and respect that.
I say it all the time.
You don't have to like Donald Trump to vote for him.
You just have to think, he's gonna do a little bit better.
It's gonna be a bit better than Joe Biden.
Now, that being said, you see where Rogan's at with Ron DeSantis?
That I agree with.
I gotta say, every single day, I really do believe Ron DeSantis would be the better choice, save one issue.
One.
I don't believe Ron DeSantis will get in and drain the swamp.
I don't believe that Trump would do it as effectively as I wish he would, but I think Donald Trump's gonna go in and be like, you're fired, you're fired, you're fired, you're fired, and he's gonna fire all these bureaucrats who need to be fired.
I think Ron DeSantis would be a much, much better leader.
And that's important.
Rogan may find himself as being a New Era Republican of sorts, because if Ron DeSantis is running, if Trump doesn't run, or if Trump loses, or for whatever reason it's DeSantis, Rogan's gonna vote for DeSantis over Biden?
I mean, just look at what he's saying!
He's saying Donald Trump's running against a dead man.
He'd probably vote for Donald Trump at this point as well.
That's a barometer for regular people.
Now the Democrats, who don't want to hear it, are going to complain.
They're posting on Reddit being like, Joe's been pulled to the far right by bad actors.
Spare me, dude.
It ain't gonna fly.
I go out there, I talk to regular people.
I read the news.
I may be ahead of the market, but you know what?
Regular people, they agree more with me.
And I can tell you when you look at, I post this thing on Instagram of sentiment towards
flags.
The American flag is overwhelmingly supported by everyone, the most popular.
And then you take a look at some of these woke flags and they're very divisive.
That whole woke stuff doesn't fly for most people in this country.
And I'm going to say that several people have spoken to Trump recently, tell CBS News that
Trump and a small group of advisors are now mapping out various ways for Trump to announce
a 2024 campaign.
Be it this summer, or after the year's midterm elections.
I think it'll be this summer.
I think Trump wants to get in front of Joe Biden bowing out.
Biden's approval rating is lower than where Donald Trump's approval rating was after January 6th.
It is bad.
If Trump knows, and his campaign knows, and his people behind the scenes know, that Joe Biden is not going to make it to 2024 for the presidential election, they need to announce now.
Think about it.
Donald Trump comes out and says, I look forward to debating Joe Biden in a rematch.
And they'll all cheer.
And then what happens one day when Joe Biden goes, I can't run.
Donald Trump's going to be like, your leaders are too scared.
Joe Biden is bowing out.
Two things could happen.
Well, I mean, a bunch of things could happen, but there's two big things I see having an impact.
One, if Donald Trump announces now, Joe Biden may be pressured into not bowing out and being like, OK, OK, I'm going to run.
I'm going to.
He won't win this time.
He won the first time because people really thought anything would be better than Trump, and now, most people are shocked by inflation, and they will take anything else.
If Trump announces now, he could lock Joe Biden in, as Rogan says, a dead man!
And then, Donald Trump wins.
Or, think about the alternative!
Joe Biden bows out and says, I can't do it.
Donald Trump says, wow, I was going to defeat Joe Biden so handily that he's quitting!
And that will shatter the Democratic Party.
Donald Trump needs to announce now.
Joe Rogan praising Ron DeSantis.
But we'll see.
I'm not convinced.
It may be a Trump-DeSantis ticket.
That would be tremendous.
Talk about a massive victory.
But will Donald Trump even be able to run?
Here's the thing that could potentially hold him back.
Donald Trump needs to announce now for another reason.
From Newsweek.
Really?
No, they haven't.
That's an opinion.
Okay, so let me just point this out.
From Newsweek.
criminal case against Trump. Experts. Really.
The House Select Committee has been successful in putting together a strong case that Donald
Trump should face criminal charges. No, they haven't.
That's an opinion. Okay, so let me just point this out.
From Newsweek, Ewan Palmer, with an opinion.
Whether or not this is a strong case is an opinion.
I love how the media does that.
They're going to say, while speaking under oath, Hudgeson said Trump was aware his supporters were armed, which is just the most insane thing I have ever heard.
This idea that a bunch of armed people went to D.C.
carrying illegal weapons that the law enforcement knew about, that the Democratic mayor knew about, no one got arrested, and all of those people who were armed just for some reason didn't go to the Capitol.
Nonsense.
But I digress.
They're going to say, Speaking to The Hill, Michael Bromwich, a former DOJ Inspector General, said that what has been emerging during the Select Committee's hearings has the makings of a powerful multi-pronged criminal case.
This includes evidence that he was aware of the substantial risk posed by his armed supporters and his desire to further inflame them by personally traveling to the Capitol.
Now, I'm not entirely convinced they go after Trump.
Really.
We had Robert Barnes on the show on IRL a couple weeks ago and he said if they indict Trump, then you get a Ron DeSantis who wins handily.
That's true.
They can't beat Ron DeSantis.
And we all really like Ron DeSantis.
So he's gonna get the votes.
But if Donald Trump is forced out, then what?
Then Ron DeSantis wins.
If Donald Trump is running, the Democrats are going to try and muster up all of that Trump hate, and it could help them greatly.
I don't think they can win.
I could be wrong.
But I think the economy and everything has just gotten so bad under Biden that people will scream and beg for Donald Trump.
Katherine Ross, a constitutional law professor at George Washington University Law School, said that Hutchinson's testimony about Trump saying, they're not here to hurt me.
It's all hearsay.
Was an astounding statement.
That also goes to whether he can be indicted for incitement because one of the things that the government would have to show to prosecute incitement is an understanding that violence was likely to follow imminently.
Just how insane it is to believe any of this stuff.
So, no.
I don't believe there will be an indictment against Donald Trump.
We do have this, however.
Fulton grand jury subpoenas Giuliani-Graham-Trump confidants.
That's interesting.
The grand jury also subpoenaed South Carolina U.S.
Senator Lindsey Graham, one of Trump's top allies.
The subpoenas were filed July 5th and signed off by Fulton Superior Court Judge Robert McBurney, who is overseeing the special grand jury.
Unlike subpoenas issued to Georgians, the summons were required to receive McBurney's blessing.
The 23-person special grand jury has heard testimony in recent weeks from a parade of witnesses, including some who had direct contact with Trump and his associates, but Tuesday's subpoenas are the closest jurors have gotten to the inner circle of the former president.
We will see.
A special grand jury investigating potential criminal interference in Georgia's 2020 elections and subpoenaed key members of Trump's legal team.
We do not know if they are going to go after Trump or just cripple his inner circle.
Here's what I think their best bet is and what Democrats may be planning for.
You subpoena and indict Trump's confidants, weakening his campaign, forcing him to lose some of his key players.
Allow him to run.
Then, you will have Trump hate Orange Man bad to run against, and you will weaken his chance of actually winning.
I think that's a strong possibility.
Salon writes, indictments are coming. At long last criminal justice will catch up with Donald Trump.
Why is it that when all the Q people come out and say, indictments.
They're gonna arrest Hillary Clinton!
It's crackpot conspiracy.
But when they keep screaming the same thing about Donald Trump, we're supposed to believe it.
Well, the funny thing is, because one side has institutional power and one side doesn't.
The crackpots who believe that Donald Trump did all this crazy stuff actually have seats in government.
So there you go.
The QAnon stuff is weak and it's crazy.
I mean, the BlueAnon stuff is weak and crazy too, but they're actually going for it, so there you go.
Here's another reason why Donald Trump needs to announce he's running for president now.
In this story from September 2019, CNBC reported Trump asked Ukraine president in phone call if you can look into Biden and his son, and they said Donald Trump is trying to use criminal law to stop his opponents at the time.
Joe Biden was not running for president, nor was he expected to run for president.
But they were saying, Joe Biden was going to run for president, therefore Trump is trying to go up against his rivals.
And I'm like, years in advance.
It was like 2018.
Like two years in advance.
Donald Trump knew it was going to be Biden.
That's absurd.
That was a lie.
If Donald Trump announces now, it may not be worth all that much, but at least we can then say, and we already can really, they're just trying to stop Trump from running.
They've written opinion pieces about it, where they've said on Washington Post op-ed, if it's really about stopping Trump, why not just vote to bar him from running?
They just outright say that's what they're doing.
Here we go.
You're going to love this one from the Daily Wire.
Haven't made a decision.
Liz Cheney refuses to rule out 2024 presidential run.
No way!
If Liz Cheney actually runs for the Republican nomination, you're gonna get me to go out and get all my friends and be like, we do not allow- Like, that's how you get Trump.
This is how you get Trump.
One of the most unpopular and loathed political individuals and families, and you wanna- She's gonna get a zero.
I don't think anyone's gonna vote for her.
But let's see where things are going in this country outside of all this.
State university faculty students to be surveyed on beliefs.
Governor DeSantis suggested that budget cuts could be coming if universities and colleges are found to be indoctrinating students.
It's getting weird.
It's just getting weird, isn't it?
Now the left is screaming that they're doing a litmus test and political inquiries and it's wrong and it's threatening and the Republicans are staging a coup and it's a purge.
I don't know.
But it is getting crazy.
I don't know where this leads, but it is getting crazy.
Now, surveying people on their beliefs to better understand who believes what is different from labeling people on their political beliefs.
But the left is arguing that it's kind of like an inquiry or an inquisition of sorts.
Who believes what?
Perhaps.
That's where we're going.
Take a look at this from r slash Dallas on Reddit.
It is an image.
It says, Roe v. Wade protests day two.
Here are several individuals wearing full masks, goggles, and they are carrying weapons.
Now, I can't tell.
This looks like a shotgun of sorts.
I'm not entirely sure.
This guy appears to be carrying, um, it's an AR-15 style rifle of some sort.
Not sure what they're chambered in.
Probably 5.56.
This one right here, it looks... I don't think it's a shotgun.
I don't know.
I'm sure you guys watching who know more about guns can probably tell me.
The point is, you got a handful of people walking, and they're armed.
The next image we have.
A woman dressed as a handmaid from The Handmaid's Tale saying this is how it starts.
Under his eye in a picture of Texas.
We then have an image of more people in full tactical gear with masks.
They appear to be doing the Red Salute, which is the raising the fist fingers forward.
You'll hear from the left, they say, it's a symbol of defiance and resistance.
It's literally called the Red Salute.
The raised fist is not just, yeah, power to the people.
Technically it is, but they're manipulating you.
The Roman salute.
That's what the Nazis call it.
It's just a Roman salute.
We know what it means.
Don't try me.
What they're doing at the Red Salute, I'm not going to play the same game.
I know exactly what they're doing.
It is the Communist Salute, and many people are too stupid to realize that raising the fist is akin to raising the Roman Salute, just for the opposing authoritarian ideology.
But they've brainwashed people into thinking it just means, challenge the system, or power to the people, or black power, or whatever.
Yeah, spare me.
We know what you're doing.
Now look, I'm all about people having the right to keep and bear arms.
So I got no issue with the people keeping and bearing arms.
We got more people holding up signs.
Here's one that's funny.
This woman says, if you were really pro-life, 21,772 people wouldn't have died from gun violence in 2022.
It's probably incorrect because she's probably including suicides in there.
But I just love how, does she not realize there are people armed?
Hey guys, Josh Hammer here, the host of America on Trial with Josh Hammer, a podcast for the First Podcast Network.
Look, there are a lot of shows out there that are explaining the political news cycle, what's happening on the Hill, the this, the that.
There are no other shows that are cutting straight to the point when it comes to the unprecedented lawfare debilitating And affecting the 2024 presidential election.
We do all of that every single day right here on America on Trial with Josh Hammer.
Subscribe and download your episodes wherever you get your podcasts.
Now, they'll come out and say, oh, this guy in Highland Park, yeah, well, he was dressed like a woman.
His ideology was vague and hard to understand.
I saw him wearing a Trump flag, though.
Yeah, sure, he's got a rose tattoo as well.
It's less descript, but is that socialism?
He said he was a liberal.
Ooh, does that mean he's a Trump supporter?
I don't know.
We don't know exactly.
But he was seen in an event with a bunch of Trump supporters.
Yeah, and there were counter-protesters there too.
Was he a counter-protester?
You don't know.
We don't.
The fact is, both sides will claim the individual is their enemy.
He represents the other side.
And that's where things are getting chaotic.
Take a look at this from the Postmillennial.
Portland protesters launch mortars at federal buildings, smash windows, and burn American flags.
What's been happening in Portland has been serious, low-tier terror.
I say low tier because they're not trying to kill you, they're trying to terrify you.
Destroy your business and make it impossible for you to live.
But they know that if they take a life, that's when things get really bad in the press.
When Andy Ngo was brutally beaten in the street, it forced all of the news media to talk about it.
Everybody was asking, what happened to that guy?
A gay Asian immigrant was brutally beaten by Antifa.
There are fringe crazy right-wingers, but there are many fringe crazy left-wingers.
And the thing is, the left has institutional power.
The right has relatively little.
So I think we're heading in a dangerous direction.
You know I have to talk about civil war.
We have this story from the Columbia Dispatch.
In today's political division, civil war historians see cause for concern.
Don't take it from me.
I'm just a guy reading stuff on the internet.
They write.
They say, maybe you've wandered as I have.
Is this the beginning of the end?
Are we headed for another civil war or is it hyperbole?
I thought I'd pose the question to some Civil War historians.
Their responses were measured and thought-provoking.
They weren't exactly comforting.
Ohio State University Professor Joan E. Cashin specializes in social, economic, and cultural history.
Ohio University Professor Brian Schoen So where do we stand?
Maybe not on the brink of a civil war as most Americans think of one, but they do see the warning signs.
social, economic, and intellectual history of the early U.S.
from its early struggles through its near dissolution in the Civil War.
So where do we stand?
Maybe not on the brink of a civil war as most Americans think of one, but they do see the
warning signs.
For Cashin, a tipping point came at the 2020 election.
Before November 2020, I would not have considered these comparisons appropriate.
Americans have always had deep political conflicts.
They have argued passionately over domestic policy and foreign policy.
They have articulated profoundly different visions of the direction the nation should take.
But until the election of November 2020, they usually accepted the basic legitimacy of the country's institutions, Cashin said.
The great exception was 1860, when many voters who opposed Abraham Lincoln left the Union
rather than accept his presidency.
But they did not dispute the fact that he won the election.
That changed in 2020, when the defeated candidate Donald Trump refused to accept the election's
outcome.
And then the chaos at the Capitol.
That too is unprecedented.
We unquestionably are living through a particularly tumultuous moment in US history.
There have been others, such as widespread unrest and conflict that came during the civil
rights in Vietnam eras, all of which coincided ironically with the centennial of the Civil War.
This isn't the first time people have made these comparisons.
I'm going to mention a bit about the 1960s, etc., etc.
They go on to say, Today only a few of the largest states might have the economic wherewithal to attempt to go it alone, but there has been little rhetoric to that effect among politicians in those states.
There are some striking differences to where the country is now and where it was in 1860.
What we don't want to see is continued loss in faith of the institutions around which our government has stood.
After January 6th, Cashin said she became very concerned.
I hope and pray that no one starts seizing federal property as the secessionists did at Fort Sumter.
But I am apprehensive about what the future holds.
The interesting thing, in my opinion, is that we are seeing now in New Hampshire, I believe it is, in Missouri, the semi-nullification of federal law.
The state's saying, we will not aid federal government in enforcement of gun laws.
The federal government doesn't have the ability to enforce the law without local law enforcement helping them.
So what?
The federal government being weakened and the states ignoring it, the breakdown happens.
Now with Roe v. Wade going to the states, what happens if the Republicans win in November and try and pass a nationwide abortion ban?
I think they will.
They say they won't, I think they will.
It is popular among Republicans.
You see, the Republicans, in my opinion, are saying, we just want it to be a states' right issue.
The states can decide for themselves.
Then they won on that ground.
And the Supreme Court said, yep, that's the way it should be.
It should go to Congress.
Now the Republicans are going to say, well, the Supreme Court said it is incumbent upon Congress to pass these laws, and we think it should be banned.
And then it will go to blue states, and the blue states will say no.
And the federal government will lose what little confidence it had left.
De Tocqueville also stressed that people must find common causes or a shared sense of purpose outside of politics.
We need to find ways to talk about our country's past that confronts directly some of its problematic parts, while also celebrating many of our country's better moments.
That is not happening among the left, and there's no conversation around it.
They were criticizing July 4th.
They want to celebrate Juneteenth.
It is a different culture.
Our culture has imploded.
Which brings me to this video, which I can't really show because YouTube would freak out.
But in it, you can see a vehicle driving down the street, firing fireworks at people, randomly, and you can see in this minute and a half video, it's just chaotic.
Throughout Minneapolis, people are just driving around firing fireworks at people.
Yo, that's not Civil War.
That is just the breakdown.
It is the collapse.
This is where things get scary, because it doesn't have to be.
A bunch of Proud Boys marching down the street, and a bunch of Antifa going, charge!
But people in cities saying, we have no confidence in law enforcement, we have no confidence in government.
What federal government?
When they can drive around firing at people with impunity, when people at Pride marches can romp about naked and twerk in front of little girls, our culture is shattered!
And you wonder why there's mass shootings.
Because they don't care about you.
Because these people, these young men want attention and they don't care about you.
There is nothing holding our culture together.
And so it will break apart.
But it has.
Left to the right will never see eye to eye.
I guess on Epstein they do.
That's about it.
And then, you will see disparate factions fighting.
These people in these cars, they're not right-wingers.
The gangbangers in Chicago, they're not right-wingers.
They're not left-wingers.
They're gonna say, we don't know, we don't care, we want stuff.
When the system breaks down, it won't be right versus left.
It will be faction versus faction.
And remnants of the government fighting amongst them.
Like in Syria.
So we shall see.
Now let's tone it back a little bit.
Maybe Rogan's got a point that these are just weird times.
Maybe we'll get through them.
But we'll see, I guess.
Next segment's coming up at 8 p.m.
over at youtube.com slash timcast IRL.
Thanks for hanging out, and we'll see you all then.
I'm sure most of you have heard about what happened in Highland Park just the other day.
It's a very serious tragedy.
We also had a story coming out of Philadelphia where there was another tragedy and you see these videos of people running and screaming.
I want to talk to you about it right now.
Everyone is trying to figure out this deranged young man.
What were his political leanings?
I don't think he had any.
A lot of photos popping up.
I don't want to show the guy's photos.
You can't really escape it.
It's kind of annoying.
I don't want to say his name.
I don't want to show his photos.
He did an unspeakable thing and he probably did it for attention.
We know that they do it for attention and that's why I don't want to mention their name.
The individual's name.
So we'll talk about it, we will.
Because a lot of people are saying he's a Trump supporter, or he was a leftist, you look at the way he dressed, and I'll tell you this right now, I had a friend message me saying they didn't quite understand what's going on with pop culture right now, and I said, it's simple, pop culture is politics.
And that's why you are seeing deranged lunatics posting these videos, or posting these photos, and you can't quite tell what they are.
Now it's possible.
That this guy out of Highland was a Trump supporter?
It is.
Trump supporters think that he was infiltrating, though, and that also makes sense if you look at a lot of his posts.
I mean, he called himself a liberal, certainly does not look like a conservative, and I believe his dad actually ran as a Democrat, but they supported 2A, so I don't really believe it's about politics.
On the screen is a nurse.
It's a woman.
And since I lost a patient today, you're probably wondering, what does that have to do with what happened in Highland or in Philadelphia?
Everything.
Everything.
This is a video I saw the other day.
It's got 6.7 million views.
And to understand what's happening to our country, I'm going to play for you this video.
You can see this nurse here.
It says, lost a patient today.
She wrote it.
And she's got her hands overhead and I guess she's trying to look sad or solemn.
And then she just walks over to the wall and then...
Leans up against the wall, takes her mask off.
Shake of off.
You have five more hours.
I think she meant shake it off.
You have five more hours.
And then she's just like, she like bends over and then looks up and breathes.
You need to understand something.
And I'm not going to pretend to be one of those body language experts or anything like that.
Alright?
You ever see those body language expert videos?
Body language?
Where it's like, this is Joe Biden speaking and look at the way he's moving his hands.
I hate those videos.
But I will say this.
I used to do non-profit fundraising, and one of the things you would try to do is understand body language to see if the individual would be receptive to what you've got to sell.
If you spend all day stopping people to talk, but they're not interested, you're wasting time.
So there was a very great, there's a large benefit to your ability to fundraise in recognizing how people were feeling.
I can't tell you what they're thinking, I can't tell you what the body language means, like in terms of, that was a lie, and what he means here is he's actually less serious, but I can tell you this.
I look at this woman, I look at her face, and I don't see any sincerity.
I don't see her actually mourning.
I don't know if she's actually intending to display mourning.
I don't know a whole lot about what she is trying to convey is kind of the point.
What I can say is, it's obvious there's no sincerity here.
This nurse made this video to get attention.
Now, I know.
It's one thing to say that the deep, cynical narcissism of the millennial generation is a malignancy that is creating this and mass shootings.
One is substantially worse, and we desperately want to stop it.
But I was watching the video out of Pennsylvania, out of Philadelphia.
Thousands flee from Welcome America Festival in Philadelphia after two cops were shot just hours after the mass shooting in Highland Park.
I saw this video of everyone running, screaming, and I thought to myself, why is it that thousands of people during a fireworks ceremony or event would think there was a shooting?
And I just thought to myself, man, we have deep cultural problems, period.
That's it.
Deep cultural problems.
Now, the left would say the fact that there are mass shootings is the deep cultural problem itself.
I agree, but I think it's not getting to the root of the issue.
The fact that we have these mass shootings, when you see these videos of people running and screaming wherever, it's like, man, the idea that people would hear fireworks and then freak out, scream, and run is horrifying.
But in this instance, it was two cops who got shot.
Apparently, some are saying that the individual who wanted to go after the cops It was waiting until the cover of the fireworks display so people wouldn't realize what was happening, trying to mask it.
One officer, 36, sustained a graze wound to the head.
The other, a 44-year-old to the right shoulder.
So, these officers, apparently, they're gonna be alright.
A lot of people are trying to pin this on the opposing political faction.
There are going to be people who say that the shooting of the police officers is the demoralization of society, the villainizing of police and all that stuff.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, all that.
I mean, that's what I think.
You go around telling people cops are evil and this, that, or otherwise, that's what you get.
So how do we get to this point?
How do we get to this point where we have this young man in Highland Park being a psychopath?
Why is it that there's a photo of him with a Trump flag?
Why is it that there's a photo of him with these tattoos that very much appear to be more left-leaning?
Why is it that he said he was a liberal but then has a Trump flag?
It's because politics is pop culture, and my speculation is this dude is just trying to get attention.
There's an interview with his uncle, and it's really sad.
His uncle does not seem to be all that with it.
He seems to be rather devastated and unable to articulate his thoughts.
And he said there was no signs.
There was no warning signs.
It was just, he was a loner.
He kept to himself.
You know, he'd go on the computer, and there it is.
Now, the crazy thing is, the interviewer asks him, where was he working?
He says, Panera Bread.
Panera Bread?
And then he's like, where did he get the weapon?
I don't know.
Where did he get the weapon?
I don't know.
Credit cards.
I mean, that's a really simple answer.
Credit cards.
Here's the crazy reality.
These people know, we've talked about it over and over again, that they will get their name in the newspaper.
And when you have a culture built around this vapid, egotistical, depraved narcissism, this is what you get.
Now, I would very much prefer, to be honest, if this dude and a whole bunch of these other deep narcissists, with no purpose in life, just posted garbage TikTok videos of them being like, I can't believe my patient died.
Instead, these lunatics decide to put their name in the history books as pure evil.
And the news media accommodates.
I can't do... I'm trying to keep this guy out of the press.
Because you need to understand, everything they do is a desperate cry to, SEE ME!
SEE ME!
That's what they're screaming.
They're screaming, SEE ME!
This nurse, she's screaming the same thing!
What is wrong with people that they so desperately need to be noticed?
To the point where they do these psychotic things I don't know.
Easy for me to say, I suppose, here I am on camera being seen by so many people.
It's crazy.
This whole world that we're building is absolutely insane.
The me first generation.
The main character syndrome generation.
Do you get money from karma on Reddit?
No, but people desperately want it.
Do you get money from retweets on Twitter?
No, but people desperately want it.
I hate Twitter.
I despise these social media platforms.
And I see many celebrities who have just nuked their social media platforms and I'm like, man, they got it right.
Geez.
Hayley Williams from Paramore.
She, like, nuked all her social media.
I'm like, she got it right.
She got it right.
Get rid of all of it.
It is bad for you.
You don't need it.
But again, easy for her to say.
She's a megastar.
Celebrity.
Famous, right?
I think about these celebrities that don't use social media, and it's like, yeah, because their glass is full.
Within them, they have this desire, this need, everyone does, for attention.
And celebrities have it in spades.
In fact, people won't leave them alone.
So for them, it's just like, I could go for a bit less.
You have a glass within you, desperate for attention.
And among those who are famous, it is, it is, someone's pouring the pitcher, and it's filling up, and it's just pouring out endlessly, and you're like, please stop, this is too much.
But for these other people, The depraved.
The aggressive.
The insane.
And the deeply narcissistic, but more self-control.
Their glass is not completely full and they want it full.
They want more.
They want more.
I wonder.
I feel like this is a product of a massive population.
I feel like it's a product of a disparate, fracturing culture.
That's what I see when I see all of this.
When I see these nurses posting these videos of themselves crying, it's like, dude, Think about what this is, these people posting these videos.
They set the camera up, they framed it properly, they checked to make sure the recording was working, then they pressed record, walked away, and then feigned crying.
Look at me!
I think it's pathetic.
I don't know, that's just me though.
To be completely honest, it's, you know, to me it's fascinating.
People say that, you know, I'm just grifting, I'm trying to get views and trying to do all that stuff.
It's like, yo, let me tell you something.
This is the most frustrating thing about all of it is that we are Timcast.
We've been made some very generous offers for fame and power and wealth, and I've turned them down.
And the conversation I have behind the scenes is, I'd actually prefer not to be bigger.
We're doing advertising, and that's the real question here.
It's like, we want people to watch the show.
We want there to be influence.
But what I don't want is... I mean, it's tough, isn't it?
It really is tough.
What we're doing is we're trying our hardest at TimCast to make other shows.
Not to just have me be the main driver of what makes TimCast.com work.
So we've got Tales from the Inverted World, Pop Culture Crisis, Chicken City.
Chicken City's not really personality driven.
We're hiring a bunch of people.
We are trying to spread that out.
I would love it if we could make more shows and kind of just... I'm happy where I'm at.
Now, advertising obviously is going to serve the purpose of making the show bigger, that I get.
And there's the challenge of, we want the business to succeed so we can talk about issues like this, we can call out issues like this, but at the same time, I mean it with all sincerity.
I grew up skateboarding.
Skateboarders don't vie for attention for the most part.
Many do nowadays because of Instagram.
It's infecting us.
For me, I would love to get to a point where, you know, I don't want to show as big as Joe Rogan.
I don't want to show as big as Tucker Carlson.
We are around like the 250th to 150th biggest show on podcasts like Flickr's.
That's fine by me.
You know, we do enough so that we can expand the company.
And we've never done marketing, so we're doing a little bit about it.
And we'll see how that plays out, but I'm not putting crazy amounts in.
Because a part of me is like, ugh.
I look at this and I'm like, people are sick.
People are sick and they're desperate.
They want you to see them.
They want the likes on social media.
They want people to remember their names.
But the crazy thing to me is, Do something good.
Build something.
Heal something.
Fix something.
Save something.
This, to me, right here, is depravity.
Now, it's not nearly as bad as what happened in Highland Park, obviously.
But there's a negativity that's on a spectrum.
This is a net negative, and it shows you the sickness within our culture, and I don't think it can be fixed.
So I wonder.
You know, I've often talked about how communism works.
I always love to say that, and then pause to get everybody all riled up, and then explain.
It works after you homogenize your culture, which is what the communists have always tried to do.
They implement political communism, and then, uh-oh, everyone's fighting and no one will agree, so they gulag and execute millions of people.
Their goal.
If you have 100 million people, and you implement communism, and 20 million are dissidents, they revolt or they complain, the communists kill those 20 million and hope that the 80 million remain.
But, anyone who's ever watched Doctor Who knows why this doesn't work.
There's an episode of Doctor Who, where they go to this planet, and there's like a colony, or they go to a timeline, or whatever, however works.
And there's a big building, but it's empty.
All there are are these robots, with weird screens with smiley faces.
And the people, I think, I think they like wear badges or something.
What happens is, they go around and they find there's no people anywhere, just these robots.
As it turns out, the robots were designed to keep the people happy.
And one day, an older woman died, and the people became very sad.
And the robots realized that when the sad people came into contact with happy people, the happy people became sad!
Well, how do you stop the spread of unhappiness?
The robots started killing those who were unhappy, which in turn made the happy people sad.
You see, the old lady died.
The happy people became sad when they found out.
They went and told the happy people that someone died and the happy people became sad.
The robot said, we need to stop unhappiness.
So, whenever the unhappy person talks to the happy person and it spreads unhappiness, kill him.
But then everyone was dying.
And the happy people started getting scared and becoming unhappy, so it just killed everybody.
That's where I feel like we're headed.
The deep narcissism is spreading.
The demand for attention is spreading.
And this is what you get.
You get a culture that is sick, that has millions of people that don't care about each other, they don't talk to each other, they don't share with each other, they share no values.
And this is why I think we're on track for... Civil War!
I know, I'm gonna say it.
Right now the left is trying to say that the dude in Highland Park was a right-winger, was a Trump supporter.
The right is saying he was an infiltrator, he was clearly left-wing, and I'm just like, yo, I don't care.
The dude was sick.
That's it.
I'm not gonna blame the left or the right for sickness.
But you've got many people on either side are absolutely demanding and willing to do it, and they want to do it.
And then I look at these videos of these TikTokers that are putting these fake mourning videos, and it's just infuriating!
But there's no cure for this!
I mean, maybe religion.
But I don't think so.
Right now, you have political tribes forming.
Politics has become pop culture.
The rest of people are doing psychotic things like this.
Posing for the camera to be like, look how virtuous I am.
Give me attention.
Click the like button.
You know, it worked.
This nurse here on the left.
Olivia Vanderford, congratulations, we've read your name.
It never gets easier after she lost a patient.
Veterinary student Tramone Z. Hester filmed his reaction to losing four patients, with the pupil putting his head in his hands.
Well, at least they were animals, I suppose.
This Olivia lady on the left.
Congratulations on framing your camera.
I wonder what she put her camera on.
Did she have a tripod?
She propped it up on something.
Then filmed herself mourning.
Stressed out.
This is what it's like.
Look at me.
I'm the star.
Man, retirement sounds so good every single day.
And time will come, I suppose.
I feel people who are famous are narcissists and everybody has that deeply within them.
Why is it that I have so many subscribers?
Probably because I have ego and narcissism within me.
That's probably the simple answer.
Why would I put a video up where I'm like, let me talk about what I think to all of you and you should listen?
I don't know, man.
Because we are a sick culture, I suppose, and we're all a part of it.
I certainly think I play my role in everything that's happening as well.
That would be absurd not to think so.
There are people who watch my videos and think, I want to do that, I want to be that, I want to be a YouTuber, and it's like, bleh.
Yeah, I don't know, man.
I don't have the answers.
I don't.
For me, I feel compelled to call out these things, but here I am doing what is basically the same thing the rest of them are doing.
What is the difference but a sick culture of people, everyone included, that is saying, look at me.
For me, it's not about attention to a certain degree.
Obviously, everybody has that within them.
Some worse than others.
For me, it's about calling out the lies in the media.
And that's why I said, you know, The Daily Wire has been skyrocketing.
And I'm like, their victory is our victory.
Because the one thing that really compels me is Calling out the lies, the fake news, and the manipulation, and trying to find a reason.
And a lot of what this is, turning the camera on, inventing, there's no script or anything, it's just therapeutic.
It's being like, let me express myself and explain how I feel, because it feels good to just say it.
Maybe this nurse feels that same way, to be fair.
Maybe it's unfair of me.
Maybe she really did feel that way, and it's therapeutic to tell someone.
I think so.
I think so.
That's the root of that sickness that results in these tragedies.
It's the root of that sickness, the... want to be seen, putting on videos and crying and all that stuff, and it's just like... I don't know how you solve for it.
I don't have the answers.
I am not a psychic.
I am not, um... a master.
Interesting, right?
It's in the same thread as what these people do.
But it's not in the same thread as what these crazy, ranged people do in terms of the level of violence.
It is in terms of the cry for attention, I suppose.
And that's it.
This is the world we live in, where you can broadcast yourself.
And if you can broadcast yourself, there will be people who will do whatever it takes to get that.
This guy at Highland Park, he was a YouTube rapper.
Nobody watched his videos.
He wasn't getting any attention.
Seemed like whatever he was trying wasn't working, so he said, you know, he'd do something else.
And he went insane.
He probably was insane to begin with.
Cassandra Fairbanks says, it's trendy to be mentally ill and it's really weird.
That's right.
It is trendy to be neurodivergent, as it were.
That's right.
So where does that bring us?
When crazy people who want attention can get attention in very crazy ways, this is what you'll get.
And it's not even about social media.
It's about someone figured it out, and they started doing it.
The media propped them up, and that's what happened.
They keep doing it.
That's why I don't want to show this guy's name.
I don't want to talk about who he is.
It's one thing when a nurse is like, look at me, a patient died.
It's like, okay, okay, we get it, Olivia.
That's not that big a deal.
It's vapid.
It's kind of gross.
But look at what everyone is.
Look at what we are.
YouTube.
Twitter.
It's really exposed exactly who we are.
Twitter is the best example.
Twitter and Instagram.
Instagram is full of ugly people using filters to try and look attractive, desperate to get likes.
Twitter is full of people feigning anger to try and get attention.
Me, I use Twitter just mostly to, like, troll and post nonsense.
And, uh, I'll be honest, like, when I retweet stories, it's mostly as, like, a thumbtack so that I can come back to it later and talk about it on here.
But Twitter really is just absolutely vapid.
Oh, man, I don't want to show this stuff, this trend stuff, so I'm gonna leave it there.
You get the point.
Next segment's coming up at 1 p.m.
on this channel.
Thanks for hanging out, and I'll see you all then.
This past week, Jordan Peterson put out a bold statement after being suspended from Twitter saying he would rather die than take down the truth.
Well now, ladies and gentlemen, the Twitter censors have come for another prominent individual.
This time, Dave Rubin.
Oh Dave, what did you do?
Surely Dave must have crossed the line, broken the rules, shocked the delicate sensibilities of those who work at Twitter.
That's right, he did.
Dave Rubin tweeted that Jordan Peterson was suspended.
No joke, that's it.
I think they got Dave on deadnaming, but here's some other big news in a similar vein.
Bette Midler has come out challenging the trans ideology.
So, Let me wrap this together.
We'll talk about all this news.
I said, one of the biggest problems they got with Jordan Peterson, right, is that Jordan is a prominent, well-respected clinical psychologist.
So when he's coming out and saying these things, it is putting dents in the facade.
It is tearing it down.
They need to stop people like Jordan Peterson from speaking out to make sure that you think you're alone.
That's why they're going after Dave Rubin as well.
Dave literally just tweeted, Jordan Peterson got suspended.
They suspended him too.
It's almost like they want to make the biggest splash possible so we all talk about this.
Well, thanks to the people like Chris Ruffo, James Lindsay, Jordan Peterson, Bette Midler is now quite upset and apparently so is Macy Gray who's speaking out.
I think it's Macy Gray.
Is that who it is?
I don't know who these celebrities are.
Macy Gray's entire, uh, J.K.
Rowling defending her because Macy Gray came out and started saying no to the trans ideology.
You see, there are people on the front line, my friends.
People like Jordan Peterson.
And to a lesser degree, and I mean no disrespect, Dave Rubin.
And I say lesser degree because Dave just said, hey, Jordan Peterson got suspended and banned.
That's nuts.
Here's a story from the Post Millennial.
Dave Rubin has been suspended from Twitter after the podcaster and commentator defended Jordan Peterson, who had previously been suspended.
I mean, kind of.
unidentified
This is the crazy thing, is he just said he got suspended.
Quote, Since my life's work has already been about exposing and destroying the woke agenda, I shall now add exposing and destroying Twitter to my resume.
Stay tuned, Rubin told The Post Millennial.
Twitter claimed that Rubin had violated their rules against hateful conduct.
His tweet read, quote, So here we have the tweet Jack Posobiec put out.
So I tweeted this image as well.
So here we have the tweet Jack Basobic put out.
So I tweeted this image as well.
But Jack has a statement from Dave himself.
The insanity continues at Twitter.
Jordan B. Peterson has been suspended for this tweet about Ellen Page.
He just told me he will never delete the tweet paging Elon Musk.
This is June 29th.
So we're talking about, what, six, seven days later.
Dave Rubin gets suspended and he was told he had to delete the tweet.
Dave issued a statement saying, I have been suspended by Twitter for posting a screenshot of Jordan Peterson's tweet, which got he himself suspended.
While it is unclear how I broke their terms of service, it is clear that they are breaking their fiduciary responsibility to their shareholders by letting a bunch of woke activists run the company.
I hope Elon Musk's purchase of Twitter goes through.
So we can bloat their servers, and humanity can move past this pervasive, twisted, self-imposed mental institution.
In the meantime, you can find me at rubinreport.locals.com, the platform I created to fight big tech censorship, something we need now more than ever.
So, yeah.
He tweeted Ellen Page, and that's where I think they got him.
Deadnaming.
Deadnaming's against the rules!
I think that's what it is.
I think, Dave, by saying Ellen Page, that's deadnaming.
In the post flagged by Twitter, Rubin offered a defense of Jordan Peterson.
Sort of.
I mean, he did, but it was very passive, like, hey, this thing happened.
It's crazy.
He wanted to say that while he was not sure how he broke Twitter's rules, it's clear that they are breaking their fiduciary responsibilities, so that we saw the statement.
Peterson's tweet was flagged after he posted that actor Elliot Page, who previously went by Ellen Page and presented as a woman, had undergone a voluntary double mastectomy in an effort to erase gender dysphoria.
Peterson said that the doctor who performed the surgery was a criminal physician.
Twitter considers it hateful conduct to state the name a person went by prior to undergoing transition.
It's called deadnaming.
Absolutely amazing.
Well, I'm willing to bet that eventually Twitter will come out and say that this is all one big misunderstanding, but I think TimCast was actually able to secure a comment.
According to a statement TimCast received from our excellent journalists over at TimCast.com, The tweet referenced violated the Twitter rules on hateful conduct.
The account owner will need to delete the violative tweet before gaining full access to their account.
And that's it.
No other questions answered.
Bravo!
Thank you, Twitter.
How insane.
What did Dave do?
He said, Ellen Page?
That's nuts!
Like you're supposed to know that a prominent celebrity changed their name, and if you use the wrong name, you get suspended?
Now I gotta wonder, if you were to take this video and post it to Twitter, would you get suspended as well?
I have to wonder about that.
You know, when I saw Jordan Peterson tweet about the Ellen Page thing, I was real tempted to just tweet the same thing.
You know why?
Because I'm sick of it!
Jordan Peterson had no ill will towards an individual.
He was pointing out a problem in our society that just so happens to be centered around a prominent celebrity.
Can't talk about it.
It's against the rules, they say.
So I got pissed off when I saw that.
I'm like, should I just do it?
I don't know, man.
Dave Rubin didn't even go that far and just said, wow.
And they went, you get banned too.
I'm sick of it.
So I have to wonder.
If you post this video to Twitter... I normally don't post my videos to Twitter.
I think Twitter's trash anyway.
It's just so annoying.
I'd be willing to bet that if you shared this video, you'd get suspended as well.
Because I've shared the same things, and I've said Ellen Page several times.
A prominent celebrity changed their name, and if you don't use the name they want... Suspension.
Brilliant.
Well, I'll tell you exactly why they're doing this.
Well, okay, I'll tell you in my opinion why they're doing this.
I can't read their minds.
Bette Midler speaking out.
This is big.
Check this out.
Bette Midler tweeted, Women of the world, we are being stripped of our rights over our bodies, our lives, and even our name.
They don't call us women anymore.
They call us birthing people or menstruators.
And even people with vaginas.
Don't let them erase you.
Every human on earth owes you.
Bette, who do you think it is that is Now, when you say they're stripping our rights over our bodies, that sounds like you're mad about Roe v. Wade being overturned.
Okay.
But everything else is the left.
So, you know, what's fascinating is, um, there's a tweet from Dave Smith.
Do you guys know Dave Smith?
Libertarian comedian guy?
We've had him on the show several times, he's great.
And he said something, I think it was in reference to Roe v. Wade, he said, the left doesn't handle losing very well and they just lost the big one.
Someone responded with, let's see how your side handles losing.
And then they showed January 6th.
The funny thing is, this is how you know the left is a cult.
Dave Smith does not like Donald Trump.
He routinely criticizes Donald Trump.
And he has not offered any support for the January 6th Trump MAGA whatever.
He routinely goes on TV and says, I don't like those people either.
He rags on Trump quite consistently.
But you see, to the left, there is only the right.
If you are not with them, you are against them, and you are clearly a Trump supporter.
Michael Malice, another really great example of this.
Bette Midler, who are you referring to?
Because I'm not pro-life.
I mean, I'm not pro-abortion like the left is, but I'm in limbo where my politics fall.
It's funny, we have Adrian Curry.
She comes in the chat all the time for Timcast IRL.
We're big fans of Adrienne.
Glad to have her as a fan as well and really excited to have her come on in the future if she ever wants to come back on.
And she calls me far left!
And she watches the show and she comments and she calls me far left!
That's funny!
I think she's even said I've been pro-abortion, and that's how pro-life sees it.
My attitude is very much more in line with, like, Roe v. Wade.
So, I can't tell you, you know, when it comes to the overturning of it.
This country is falling apart, and we've got bigger problems, and I'm rather dispassionate on the issue.
I just don't know.
But I typically fall in the libertarian, libertarian-centrist kind of area.
And for that, the left would say, I'm right-wing!
Yeah, Bette Midler, I don't know who you're talking about.
We've been stripped of our rights over our bodies.
By the right, is that it?
By conservatives?
Our lives and even our name.
Okay, it's the left taking your name away.
Maybe if you read the news and you paid attention, this wouldn't have happened.
Look at this.
Bette Midler has stirred up a tense debate online after suggesting women are being erased with names like birthing people and menstruators.
Oh, I love menstruators.
Reducing a woman down to a simple person who bleeds.
They call them bleeders, too.
That is the most insanely disrespectful thing I've ever heard.
So what are you?
I'm a man.
And what about you?
I'm a menstruator.
Incredible.
The passionate comments made by the actress has led to comparisons with J.K.
Rowling, who was the target of much derision among trans campaigners.
While Midler's tweet enraged some in the trans community, others praised her.
Midler, who just reappeared on our screens for the trailer for the upcoming Hocus Pocus 2, really?
Got thousands of people talking within hours of sending her tweet.
The original post by the 76-year-old performer started off in all caps.
I love how old people do this.
Isn't it weird that older people will do all caps all the time?
Don't let them erase you!
you. Midler goes full Rowling wrote journalist John Levine comparing Midler
to author of the Harry Potter books. Rowling has been the subject of mass
ire from the trans community for her comments over the past few years. This is
why I'm bringing this together with the Dave Rubin Jordan Peterson story because
it is relevant. When Jordan Peterson comes out and this is why Dave
gets hit for defending him but Jordan Peterson is the in my opinion most
relevant and prominent individual calling this stuff out.
It started with Dr. Peterson in Canada, when he was like, you're not going to force me to say someone else's made-up words!
And they went nuts.
And they were like, if you don't do this, you'll be arrested.
Jordan Peterson said, sooner or later, they will arrest someone for not saying the proper pronouns.
And everyone said, that's not true, that won't happen.
And he goes, you get a fine, right?
What happens if you don't pay the fine?
And then sure enough, we've seen people get arrested for improper pronouns.
Here we go.
Irish drag performer and gay rights activist Panti Bliss Cabrera told Midler not to fall for the anti-trans panic fake nonsense.
Oh, it's it's fake nonsense!
Okay.
No one is erasing women.
In a few small healthcare cases, where appropriate, they are using trans-inclusive language.
That's all.
Trans-inclusive, that isn't defined properly and is confusing to most people, and they can't even tell you what a woman is.
Here's the funny thing.
I saw some activists on Facebook, and they were talking about this, and I said, what's a woman?
And they were like, I'm not falling for that trap!
I don't have to give you an answer, because they don't have one.
They literally do not have one.
I know the academic answer.
I do.
I'll tell you.
When you actually look at transgender ideology activists, transgender ideology academics, sorry, they will tell you that a woman is a person who identifies as an adult human female.
That's it.
That makes sense.
A person who identifies as an adult human female.
Now, the issue is, woman is actually defined as an adult human female, but they've added the identifies as because anyone can identify as anything they want.
But that's the idea.
And then adult human female is associated with biological functions and birth and all that stuff.
And the reason they give it that definition is that some people are born, say, intersex or ambiguous, And thus, they throughout their whole lives identify that way.
They then include trans women to identify that way and say, there you go.
But these activists haven't actually read any of their own literature.
Which is why it's funny when they're like, I'm not giving you an answer!
And they can't do it.
Watching Matt Walsh's documentary, What Is A Woman, really good.
I'm so jealous of the stuff those guys are doing.
We want to do some documentaries as well.
We got some preliminary documentaries coming.
So head over to TimCast.com.
Sign up to support us.
We need your membership.
We're going to start doing marketing.
The more people who sign up, the more we can do this stuff, so we want to get that going too.
But anyway, in that documentary with Matt Wall, she asks these academics, what's a woman?
And they're like, why are you asking?
What does that mean?
I don't like the way you're asking it.
Instead of just being like, ah yes, there is a prominent researcher, I don't know her name because I don't actually care about these people, but I actually read what they had to say.
The prominent ideology or the prominent view academically among the researchers is a person who identifies as an adult human female.
That's what it is.
And what's an adult human female?
You know what an adult human female is.
It's a human being of reproductive age that produces the non-mobile ova.
Now, a woman is a person who identifies that way.
I mean, that's an easy way to explain it, right?
You can still ask questions.
You can still say, I don't agree with that.
But I actually understand that definition.
There are many people who can't reproduce, but because of their body would identify that way.
Trans women identify that way, but the trans qualifier makes them trans women.
Anyway, I digress.
These are important distinctions, but you don't get these answers because these people are tribalists who don't actually read their own literature.
Republicans, who would usually disagree with Midler's views, she has been critical of Trump, express their support.
Now, even a broken clock, right, some people, Harmeet Dhillon.
I want to point this out.
Again, to make sure I'm wrapping it together, my point is that Jordan Peterson is inspiring these people.
He's standing up.
He's waking these people up.
Dave Rubin commenting on and defending him, to the degree he did, is bad for this agenda.
But I want to point something out.
When Bette Midler tweeted this, all I saw was people ragging on her.
That pissed me off.
People were like, haha Bette, oh now you get it, oh yeah, we're mad at you, blah blah blah.
I was like, thank you Bette Midler, you're amazing.
Thank you for standing up.
It's so weird to me that Bette Midler, because you don't like a bunch of things she says, says something good and she got mocked and made fun of.
You want a prominent celebrity, I'm pretty sure she's on The View too, right?
You want her coming out and saying, I agree with this issue.
So, my response was, welcome to the fight Bette, thank you for your bravery.
I then said, Bette Midler is brave and strong and she's standing up for the right thing.
And there are people like, so what?
She'll turn around and apologize and blah blah blah.
Don't know, don't care.
That's it, I don't know, I don't care.
She tweeted it, she gets praise and respect for doing so.
Brett, I'd love to have you to talk about this stuff anytime on my show.
Not that I think she would, she's old and she's very busy.
My point is, you are welcome.
You are doing the right thing.
You are standing up for what you believe in and I respect it.
And same goes for people on the left, I'll talk to them too.
I just don't think they have, they just don't know what they're talking about.
Macy Gray, 54, also did the same thing.
She took part in a no-holds-barred interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored in which she also said that she doesn't believe that transgender women should be allowed to compete against biological men in sport.
Miss Rowling, J.K.
Rowling, then defended her.
She said during the interview Monday, just because you go and change your parts doesn't make you a woman, sorry.
She acknowledged that people will hate me for saying this, but I know that for a fact.
If you want me to call you a her, I will, because that's what you want, but that doesn't make you a woman just because I call you a her, and just because you got surgery.
Morgan said that most public figures were too terrified to say what a woman is.
The singer agreed, I know.
I would say a human being with boobs, how about you start there and a vagina?
I mean, quite honestly, sure.
Here's what they'll say, they'll say, what about women who get mastectomies because of breast cancer?
Are they still women?
Yes.
It's, it's, it's, it's, I'm sick of these, these nitpicky arguments.
Women is a distinct category of a bimodal, of the bimodal function of biological sex.
We say bimodal, Because there is an overlap.
Some people are born male, but they're small, effeminate, with squeaky voices and they have low testosterone.
Some people are born female, but they're large and muscular with much testosterone.
But 98% of people are discernibly male or female.
That's why we say man or woman.
I can't remember who posted this.
It may have been Matt Walsh or James Lindsay or Rufo.
I think it might have been Walsh.
They're not offering, trans activists are not offering any distinction.
They're simply saying, our language for the gender binary makes no sense, therefore destroy it.
And it's like, sure, you can be upset that you're trying to quantify minutiae or whatever.
Destroying our naming conventions makes no sense.
These celebrities are standing up.
But it's only possible they're standing up because prominent individuals started first.
And you know what?
For people like Dave Rubin and Jordan Peterson, you know that meme of the guy standing over the bed of the child, getting all the knives and everything at him?
That's what it is.
Dave Rubin gets ragged on all day every day by so many woke people and just, you know, just in general activists.
People don't like him.
But he stood up and he called them out.
He took all the flack and now he will continue to take the flack while other people stand up and take much less.
They'll say, oh Bet, you're wrong!
Oh Bet, no!
What if Bette Midler was the first person to come out?
What if she staked her reputation on this stuff?
She would be in the position Dave is.
Now look, I know people have a lot of reasons to criticize Dave Rubin.
People have a lot of reasons to criticize Jordan Peterson.
Nobody's perfect.
But the people who stood up first take the flak.
Now it's safe for other people like Macy Gray and Bette Midler to speak up and say, enough.
That's why.
They want to suspend them and they want to ban them.
They want you to know your clock is ticking and we will remove you.
We need Elon Musk to complete this buyout of Twitter so that we can have free speech in the public sphere.
Now maybe all these woke lunatics leave in panic.
Fine.
So be it.
I don't care.
We can't have it.
We need speech.
We need ideas.
We need the marketplace of ideas.
We need real debate.
And there are bad people with bad ideas who are good at debate, and sometimes those ideas win, and that's a challenge.
But that's why censorship is bad.
And that's why we need people like Jordan Peterson and Dave Rubin to keep tweeting the way they do.
But you know what?
The powers that be are freaking out.
I think the narrative is collapsing, to be completely honest.
India Willoughby says, as for Macy, how to kill what's left of your career, and Macy Gray says, truth hurts.
Bravo!
You get into a certain age, and you know, some people.
J.K.
Rowling says, today feels like a good day to ensure I've bought Macy Gray's life's, Macy Gray's, that's her Twitter handle, entire back catalog.
Many of these women are saying, enough!
Good.
Now look, I'll tell you something interesting.
In my previous segment, I talked about the lunatics who are desperate for attention.
You know?
Real leaders?
They don't care.
Real leaders are simply saying, people may hate me for this, but so what?
I will say it.
I'll take what I can get.
And you know?
When I worked for Fusion, and they offer you all this money and say, just say the woke stuff, just do what you're told, fit in.
And I'm like, no, I'm gonna say what's true and what I believe in.
I don't care if everyone in the world hates my guts, I will keep doing it.
That's what's real.
That's what we need.
That is what we need.
People who are going to say, you may hate me for it, but here's the truth.
And so look, I got a lot of Trump supporters who are mad at me saying, Tim, talk about 2,000 mules and all that stuff and blah, blah, blah, blah.
You don't have to agree with me.
You can think I'm wrong.
But I'm not going to just lie to pander to anybody beyond the right or the left.
So I'll get things wrong.
That's a fact.
And maybe many of you won't want to keep watching.
I'll keep saying it.
You know, Back before the Trump Fraud Narrative, I was getting like half a million views on all my videos on YouTube.com slash TimCast.
And then I was just like, I don't agree with Trump.
And the views got slashed in half.
And I don't care.
I obviously want to do right by you.
I want to be correct.
I want to make sure I'm tracking the facts and all of that stuff and being logical.
But I will not lie to myself or you.
And if that means I lose viewers because people don't believe me or don't want to hear it, that's fine.
I'll do my best.
Obviously, it is good for TimCast and TimCast.com that we gain more subscribers, but not at the cost of our integrity.
If you agree with me, at the very least, on that point, I implore you to become a member at TimCast.com, because we've got a lot of stuff in the works, and we are ramping things up.
We're going to start producing a whole lot more shows, and it takes a lot of energy, and it's a big risk, but we're going to go for it.
