Today is July 6th, 2022, and our first story, a bombing attack at the Georgia Guidestones.
This is crazy.
The Georgia Guidestones are called the Monument to Globalism, and around 4 a.m., someone planted some kind of explosive device and partially obliterated the thing.
Rubble seems strewn about.
You're going to want to hear this one.
Things are getting freaky.
In our next story, Joe Biden is actually exporting U.S.
strategic oil reserves in an insane move as gas prices remain at a record high.
In our next story, Elon Musk responds to the Jordan Peterson Twitter censorship controversy, slamming Twitter, saying they've gone too far.
If you like the show, give us a good review.

Now, let's get into that first story.
I will repeat that again.
The Georgia Guidestones were bombed and severely damaged.
Yo, this is one of the most shocking and terrifying stories.
Now, I'm sure a lot of people are probably celebrating and cheering this stuff, but the idea that someone would go and bomb something in the middle of the night just says, we are getting into dangerous territory.
I talk about civil war quite a bit.
This is a component.
The bombing of structures.
We saw it with the left.
They were tearing down statues.
Now, I can only assume this is anti-New World Order, more conspiracy theory oriented.
Who knows?
Maybe nationalist oriented.
The Georgia Guidestones, for those who don't know, are considered monuments to globalism.
They are these strange structures that were erected in 1980, which have a bunch of information, For how to calculate math, calculate celestial poles, and it gives you rules.
It gives humans rules for how to live properly.
Now some believe these rules are a warning, essentially.
Not a warning, it's the wrong way to phrase it.
That they're guidestones.
The actual acceptable mainstream idea, per the narrative, is that they were erected during the Cold War, when there was a fear that nuclear war would wipe out the world.
And so, tablets were secretly erected.
I say secretly because no one else would put them up.
And they contained multiple languages with instructions.
And if humanity was wiped out in nuclear war, those who stumble upon them would be like, now we know how to rebuild.
Some believe that they're actually a prescription for what needs to be done to save the world now.
And perhaps, perhaps both are true.
Perhaps the Guidestones were erected because there was a fear the world will be wiped out.
Is there not still a fear the world will be wiped out?
This time by something different.
Not by nuclear war, but by climate change and overpopulation.
And if that is the fear, then what does it really mean?
The Guidestones say to keep the Earth's population under 500 million.
And if overpopulation and climate change is the new existential threat, then many believe that these are effectively saying people need to be culled, like deer.
Here's the reality.
We as humans often do cull species, like wild boar or deer, because we recognize that they devastate local ecosystems.
And there are people who feel similarly to human beings.
I don't believe that it's correct.
I believe there is a problem with overpopulation and population density.
And we need to change.
But I don't believe this is the answer.
The latest news from wyff4.com.
An explosion Wednesday at the mysterious Georgia Guidestones in Elberton, Georgia, has caused significant damage to the stones.
The preliminary information indicates that someone detonated an explosive device at around 4 a.m.
on Wednesday, according to the Georgia Bureau of Investigations.
GBI officials said officials at the Elbert County Sheriff's Office found the explosion destroyed a large portion of the structure.
The Elbert County Sheriff's Office asked the GBI to assist with the investigation.
The guidestones sit in a site seven miles north of Elberton on Georgia Highway 77 and are often referred to as an American Stonehenge.
Sky 4 flew over the site.
Take a look at these photos.
You can see this right here.
It is one of the stones has been reduced to rubble.
Amazing.
Now, initially we didn't know what caused the explosion.
Witnesses have said that they heard an explosion around 4 a.m.
and now the GBI is saying they believe someone detonated an explosive device.
This is crazy stuff.
Absolutely crazy stuff.
It's not the first time the Guidestones have been vandalized.
Going back to 2014, people were spray-painting stuff on them saying the New World Order will lose.
I'm going to tell you what the Guidestones are first.
I want to break down so you understand because many people may say, what is this?
What are the Guidestones?
They're called a monument to the New World Order, to globalism.
Now, I want to say something very important before we get into all of this and we'll get into it again.
The narrative is breaking down and people are saying no more.
Maxwell, Epstein, There was a poll I saw in the mainstream media said that majority of Republicans believe that the world is run by a cabal of, let's just say, child abusers.
And it was framed as though they were all crazy people.
There are narratives about Hillary Clinton and pizza and things like that.
All that's dumb.
Very, very dumb.
Now, someone eventually takes this crazy story, goes to a pizza place.
It's all very, very stupid.
That's why I tell you.
You gotta make sure you're following the evidence, and not pulling yourself to where you want to go.
Right?
Make sure you say, what does this information mean, and not, I believe X is true, therefore let's find information to back that up.
You can't do that.
Otherwise, a crazy person walks into a pizza place thinking there's a basement, and there isn't one.
But let's talk about this.
Is there a cabal of elites abusing children running the world governments?
Well, I don't know.
What I can say is Epstein was arrested.
He's dead.
Maxwell was convicted of trafficking minors with Epstein.
To who?
We know who flew on Epstein's plane.
We know who was in that little black book.
We know it included world leaders.
Bill Clinton.
We know there are photos of Epstein with Donald Trump.
Does that mean Trump was involved?
I don't know!
And I don't care.
Release all of the names.
Now, Trump supporters will tell you Trump was like, no, he's a bad guy, he's a creepy guy.
I don't care.
I'm not here to defend anyone.
I'm here to say we need the client list released.
Here's the question.
If Maxwell was convicted, who has the power to keep that information a secret?
To cover up who she was trafficking to?
Huh.
That's all I can say, huh?
Because it's the government.
It's the judicial system.
It's the courts.
They are protecting these people.
Who would have the power?
Multinational corporations, executives, the ultra-wealthy, people who are caught up in the Panama Papers, you name it.
They must exist, I guess, but we just don't know who.
Do they run the governments?
I don't know.
All I know is powerful interests with influence over government agencies are keeping that information a secret, so what am I supposed to assume?
And they tell me!
That's crazy to think.
Y'all convicted Maxwell, not me.
I want to know who she was trafficking to.
Well, this is what happens.
The narrative is breaking down.
The lies, the manipulations, they're breaking down.
People are saying no more.
The Guidestones, to put it simply, erected in 1980, containing these rules.
Maintain humanity.
Let's go through the rules.
They say, there's ten rules.
Maintain humanity under 500 million in perpetual balance with nature.
Why?
Why 500 million?
The languages on them are English, Spanish, Swahili, Hindi, Hebrew, Arabic, Traditional Chinese, and Russian.
Why 500 million?
Who decided that?
Guide reproduction wisely?
Improving fitness and diversity?
That sounds like eugenics.
Unite humanity with a new living language?
What does that even mean?
They did not give anybody guidestones.
It's just a vanity project, if you ask me.
Rule passion, faith, tradition, and all things with tempered reason.
I can respect that.
Protect people and nations with fair laws and just courts.
Agreed.
Let all nations rule internally, resolving external disputes in a world court.
Agreed.
We rule our country, and instead of going to war, a world court decides, but not over our internal laws.
Avoid petty laws and useless officials.
Agreed.
Balance personal rights with social duties.
That one I agree with.
Right now, we have a lack of social duty.
You have these people on the left thinking, like, wearing a mask is social duty.
No.
Talking about community.
We don't have that.
Prize truth, beauty, and love, seeking harmony with the infinite.
Meaningless!
Meaningless garbage!
Be not a cancer on the earth, leave room for nature, leave room for nature.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
We get it.
Now, they were erected March 22nd, 1980.
Let these be guidestones to an age of reason.
There's astronomical features, so you can find the noon time throughout the year, the annual travel of the sun, celestial poles.
There's ways to calculate height and weight, so you can translate our units of measurement.
Okay.
Now, there are some interpretations.
A stirring call to rational thinking, says Yoko Ono.
Subject of conspiracy theories.
One of them, an activist named Mark Dice, demanded the Guidestones be smashed into a million pieces, and then the rubble used for a construction project, claiming the Guidestones are of deep satanic origin.

One interpretation of the Stones, the basic concepts to rebuild a devastated civilization after a nuclear World War III, I mean 1979, the height of the Cold War.
The Guidestones were briefly discussed in the documentary films Sherman's March and Endgame, Blueprint for Global Enslavement, and were featured extensively in a 2012 episode of Mysteries at the Museum, the monumental Mysteries special featuring Don Wildman.
Somebody bombed them.
That freaks me out.
Please do not bomb stuff.
But this shows the escalation is here.
The left went and tore down statues.
Now you've got someone bombing the Guidestones.
This is how it begins.
Not like the Guidestones are a symbol of leftism or anything like that, but they're considered a monument to globalism and internationalism.
Apparent advocacy for population control and eugenics.
I'm not surprised someone went and attacked them.
But who?
The fact that these were bombed shows a level of organization, to some degree.
Because you have confidence that that hundred dollars We'll be able to get you something from someone else.
That's what it comes down to.
Confidence.
Someone says, I will give you a green picture of Benjamin Franklin, and you say, I want that because I have confidence that someone else will give me food or gasoline in exchange for that green picture of money.
But what if you had no confidence?
What if you said, I have no confidence anyone will take that from me?
Then you would not take it either.
It is a long chain.
The confidence.
When the confidence in the presidency is shattered, and people believe the government cannot enforce laws properly, or neither can banks, they will stop using them.
And when they do, the system will implode.
Now, 64% have confidence in military.
45% in the police.
And that's why things haven't collapsed completely.
When we get to the point where confidence in the police is at an all-time low, people will stop paying attention to them.
And it's happening.
When there's no confidence in the military, people will stop caring.
They'll view them as rogue actors.
That is the path we are on.
It is shocking to me that the presidency sits at 23%.
Obviously, Joe Biden's the cause of that.
But think about what this means.
They said that Donald Trump was an existential threat to all of us.
So they elected Joe Biden.
Joe Biden has revealed the emperor has no clothes.
There is now no faith in the presidency.
77% of the people in this country, we could estimate, do not have confidence in the presidency.
That's actually kind of terrifying.
And in Congress.
And the Supreme Court?
25%.
Confidence in the three branches of government is in the gutter.
So what happens when someone says, I don't care what the Supreme Court says?
The Supreme Court just issued a ruling on gun rights, and New York said, we don't care.
Maryland came out and said, okay, we'll adhere to that, but for the most part, we don't care.
Maryland said we will get rid of this provision requiring a reason for getting a gun permit, but still require you to pass tests and skill assessments and pay money and take time infringing upon your right to keep and bear arms.
For the longest time, the states have been disregarding the will of the people.
And I don't mean some nebulous democratic idea.
I mean that we have a Constitution, that we have a government, that we have rulings, and the states say, don't care.
The Constitution is clear, isn't it?
Now maybe we need to amend the Constitution.
We've been unable to, meaningfully, because our country is split.
Maybe it's time for the country to actually split for there to be two different constitutions before everyone rips each other apart.
But I'll tell you, if 77% of people in this country don't have faith in the presidency, that includes Democrats as well.
So what happens next?
People start bombing things.
It starts with the Georgia Guidestones.
It starts with tearing down statues.
It starts with renaming streets.
I hope you're ready for this wild ride.
I hope you are getting prepared for supply chain disruptions and a lack of food.
They've been telling us.
Because of the war in Ukraine, fertilizer is in short supply.
So crops weren't planted in the springtime properly.
Or they were, but they weren't given proper fertilizer.
Which means that come the fall harvest, there will be a lot less food than you realize.
But here's another major punch in the gut.
Diesel shortages and diesel prices means that even if they did grow the food, the cost of harvesting it will skyrocket.
The ability to harvest it will be dramatically hindered.
It's not just that there won't be food growing because of the fertilizer.
They may not even be able to get it because diesel is in short supply.
When the food is gone, when the confidence in the federal government has been shattered, you get to the point where people just say, enough.
And they'll start planning their own way.
Think about it this way.
Everyone speeds, right?
Why?
Everyone goes about 5 miles over the speed limit.
Or more!
Out here in the middle of nowhere, the speed limit will be 55 and people are going 70!
No one gets pulled over.
Because everyone does it.
So what do the cops do?
Single someone out?
Okay.
And then they argue in court, look, I didn't want to speed, but everyone's going 70, what am I supposed to do?
Impede traffic and cause a risk to everyone else?
Some people have won on that argument.
The point is that when every human simply says, when every person I'm not playing that game.
The game ceases to exist.
The speed limit sign?
More guidelines, I guess.
I don't think you should speed, by the way.
But everyone does just a little bit.
What happens when people feel that the presidency, the Congress, the Supreme Court are meaningless?
Congress could codify Roe v. Wade, and the states could be like, don't care.
Do something about it.
Why cooperate?
Why would anyone play a game that everyone else isn't playing?
The left and the right both agree on something.
They believe that neither side is playing by the rules.
And if that's the case, it doesn't matter who actually is and who isn't.
What matters is that both sides will simply say, if you're not playing fair, why should I play fair?
And then if neither side plays fair, then there's no game at all.
Imagine you're playing dodgeball.
And one side cheats.
And this side says, you cheated, so we're gonna cheat too.
You're not playing dodgeball anymore.
Now everyone's just running around being like, your rules don't count.
And then what?
The game stops, I guess.
Here's what I think.
I think the lies have gone on too much.
The system has been crumbling for too long.
Here's an example.
Just a simple example.
Josh Meyer verified blue check.
USA Today correspondent posted this story on Twitter.
DeSantis signs bill requiring Florida students to register their political views of the state.
Salon, which has a 100 out of 100 from NewsGuard, wrote the story.
PolitiFact debunked it a year ago.
And PolitiFact is full of it as well.
No one was ever asked to give their political views.
They were surveyed on how they feel about the political views in the system, not their own.
Salon lied.
Salon is called Legitimate News.
Isn't it amazing?
Buy Newsgarden.
There's no way to fix this problem.
The problem is that our culture is fractured.
It fractured a long time ago, it bifurcated, and now there's two distinct universes occupying one country.
Either this country peacefully divorces, Or, they fight and violently divorce.
Bombing the Georgia Guidestones.
I want to repeat that for you.
Leveling it.
Leaving nothing but rubble.
Not the whole thing.
I fear we're going to see more of this.
Now, the media can come out all day and night and say things like, the far right's the real threat, but guess what?
11% of people have confidence in the news outlet.
So, if that's the case, nobody believes them anyway.
I do not believe that the left is popular in this country.
That Democrats are popular in this country.
I don't believe it.
I really don't.
I believe many people are ignorant.
And I think that what you see on Twitter is a facsimile.
It's fake.
It's fake news.
We saw what happened when Elon said he was going to buy the platform.
Progressives and Democrats lost their followers and people on the right gained tons of followers.
I think that's how you know who's real and who's fake.
Who's being followed by bots and who's being followed by real people.
I think the media has tried to create a narrative to control the machine by telling Americans that everyone's actually far left.
A lot of people are.
Eight to ten percent.
And they're given prominent positions.
They control media.
They control institutions.
But people are saying no more.
We may be on the verge of something dangerous.
Something remarkable.
Not in a good way.
A major shift is coming to this country.
It's here.
Now, the Guidestones may be freaky, but it seems like, call it the right, call it whatever you want, anti-establishment is starting to return in kind when the left tore down statues.
What will we see now?
Will they go after BLM flags?
Things like that?
Maybe.
Well, I'll keep you updated on the story and we'll see if they find out who did it.
Next segment's coming up at 4pm over at youtube.com slash timcast.
Thanks for hanging out and I'll see you all then.
I'm Joe Biden has every excuse in the book as to why the
economy is doing so miserably, as to why gas prices are so high.
And in one of his latest attacks, he shamed gas station owners as if they're the reason prices are so high.
Well, gas stations are typically run by small businesses.
So Joe Biden, refusing to take responsibility for his own actions, is condemning small businesses in this country.
Now, I'm not going to blame Joe Biden for everything going wrong in the world.
That would be stupid and insane.
I know a lot of people really want that.
I know there's also an equal amount of people who want to say he's done nothing wrong.
Accept responsibility for your vote.
Joe Biden is gutting this country.
Because the latest news... I can't believe I'm reading this headline.
Biden administration exporting oil from U.S.
strategic reserves to Europe and Asia.
Are you kidding me?
At a time when regular people in this country can't afford gas, when you are getting prominent Democrats saying, just buy an electric car, what's the problem?
Don't have $60,000?
Well, maybe you should have considered that before you were poor.
Joe Biden is exporting our strategic reserves to Europe and Asia, probably because of Ukraine and Russia, because our allies in Europe are suffering due to the war.
But should the United States be giving up its strategic reserves when our prices are as high as they are?
Now listen, Joe Biden has released millions of barrels from our strategic reserves.
It's done almost nothing to curb the cost of gasoline.
Why still would you give up our emergency reserves?
This is the epitome of insanity.
You know what?
I think regular people in this country get it by now.
You must stop listening to these zealous, psychotic Democrat activists who are going to defend this.
This is beyond reproach.
You can come out and say everything you want.
You can say Vladimir Putin's invasion of Ukraine is causing economic supply chain crunches.
You can say it's damaging the value of the dollar.
You can say Saudi Arabia is not making enough oil.
You can say the oil companies have record profits.
All of those things.
Fine.
And then I ask you, why is Biden exporting our emergency reserves?
It's about time you wake up to the fact that this country is being gutted.
Regular people are calling it out, and that's why Biden's approval rating is in the gutter.
And this is why I think Joe Biden's not going to be running for re-election.
There is no way you run this man in 2024 and he beats Trump or DeSantis.
And then what's going to stop Trump or DeSantis?
I don't know.
Maybe what they'll do is they'll levy criminal charges against Donald Trump.
But then you get DeSantis.
What are they going to do to stop DeSantis from running?
No way.
You run Joe Biden after this?
This is the kicking the balls to the American people.

It is a collapse.
And we're watching it in real time.
But I suppose too many people think a collapse needs to occur overnight.
No, no.
It's in free fall right now.
I can't believe this is the headline.
If the Biden administration indefinitely continues releasing oil from the SPR at its current rate, the entire supply could be gone by early November 2023.
I certainly hope that is not the case.
I certainly hope Biden stops.
But I have to wonder, with everything we're seeing now, with the lockdowns, with the policies, with the narrative from the establishment press, is this all on purpose?
How is it?
That things could be getting so bad in this country, and the Democrats and Joe Biden would continue to enact policies that damage and destroy us.
I'll tell you this, there are many people on the left saying, Joe Biden doesn't control gas prices.
Forbes runs an article saying, yeah, Joe Biden can change gas prices.
He can lower it right now.
Joe Biden says, we're going to enact policies to lower these gas prices.
Why didn't you do it before?

Here's the story from TimCast.com.
As Americans struggle with record-high gasoline and diesel prices, the Biden administration is tapping the U.S.
strategic reserves and sending oil overseas.
More than 5 million barrels of oil were exported to Europe and Asia last month, as the average price for gas across the nation reached $5 for the first time in history.
The Strategic Petroleum Reserve is a complex of four sites with deep underground storage caverns created in salt domes along the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coasts.
It is managed by the U.S.
DOE.
It was created in 1975 to offset any future disruptions of the oil supply.
It was designed for emergency use such as natural disasters and events like the OPEC oil embargo against the U.S.
NOT for offsetting high prices due to policy decisions or market conditions.
In March, President Biden ordered the release of 1 million barrels per day from the SPR through the month of October.
As of July 6, total inventory is only at about 492 million barrels.
The maximum total withdrawal capability is 4.4 million barrels today.
If that amount of oil were released, based on current inventory, it would take only 111 days to deplete the entire supply of U.S.
oil.
A former DOE official has gone on record calling the release of the nation's emergency oil reserves illegal.
Here's the core part of the story. Biden sent five million barrels of U.S. oil to Europe,
Asia despite soaring gas prices, The Washington Time reporting.
The exports are part of a broader and historic release of one million barrels per day.
The U.S.
has allowed more than 5 million barrels of oil from the Strategic Petroleum Reserve to be exported to Europe and Asia, a move that contradicts President Biden's statements about trying to bring down the cost of soaring prices at the pump.
It is absolutely insane.
News of the emergency reserves release comes just a week after Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm met with oil and gas executives in a closed-door meeting to discuss ways to reduce energy costs.
I'm just going to say it right now.
I do not believe they have any intention of lowering prices.
We've heard the narrative.
We've heard the rhetoric.
They want high gas prices specifically to stop climate change.
Joe Biden said as he campaigned, he will get us off fossil fuels.
So why would you assume this is anything other than gutting the American reserves, cranking up the prices, so that regular people stop driving cars?
Was it Buttigieg, I think?
There was a senator.
They were just like, just get an electric car, what's the problem?
You got $40,000 sitting around for a Hyundai Ioniq, right?
You don't?
Oh, they're sold out anyway?
What about a Tesla?
You can get a used Tesla for around the same price.
Oh, they're sold out too?
Sorry.
Maybe you shouldn't be driving.
Take a look at this from the National Review.
Biden's shameful gas station attack.
It's hard to know where the economic illiteracy ends and the shameless demagoguery begins.
Over the past holiday weekend, the President slammed gas stations for the purported sin of not passing along declining oil prices to motorists.
Biden took to Twitter to urge the companies running gas stations and setting prices at the pump to bring down the price you are charging at the pump to reflect the cost you are paying for the product.
Yes, sir, whatever you say, Mr. President.
The U.S.
Oil and Gas Association mockingly recommended that the intern who posted the tweet should sign up for Econ 101.
But it's worse than that.
Biden has hit the gas stations before on the same grounds.
It's hard to know where the economic illiteracy ends and the shameless demagoguery begins regardless.
It's another indication that the president's approach to inflation is to cast about for scapegoats and villains no matter how implausible.
So-called jawboning, or stern rhetoric directed at industries to get them to bend to the presidential will, is nothing new.
The most famous example is from John F. Kennedy, who blasted U.S.
steel for raising prices in 1962.
Biden, by contrast, is going after the proverbial Liberty Gas Station and Unimart down on Route 134, started by an immigrant couple hoping to send their children to college for the first time.
These small-time entrepreneurs have done nothing wrong except remain in business at a time when the president's anti-oil and gas policy has backfired spectacularly.
Indeed, when Biden says gas stations are set prices, he's technically correct in the sense that they post the prices on their iconic signs down to the 10th of a cent.
They aren't doing it arbitrarily, though.
They all know that if they set a price not justified by broader market forces, customers will simply drive down the street to a more reasonably priced station.
More importantly, there's regulations.
More importantly, they know That there's gas stations all over the place, as they pointed out, and go wherever they want.
Gas stations don't make money, for the most part, off gas.
They support themselves through their mini-marts.
By selling sodas and chips and hot dogs.
By having you come in to buy snacks.
Joe Biden doesn't know what he's talking about.
Or, maybe he does.
And maybe the intention is to gut the system.
Well, I'm proud to say it seems like regular people, to a certain degree, are at least waking up.
From TimCast.com, nearly 9 in 10 Americans say the country is on the wrong track.
According to Monmouth University, who conducted the poll which was released on Tuesday, this marks an all-time low for this question going back to 2013.
Biden's overall job rating continues to trend downward, currently just 36% approve of the job he is doing, while 58% disapprove.
Over at RealClearPolitics, we can see that in aggregate, Joe Biden's approval rating is 38.4%.
You think they're going to run this man for 2024?
Sorry, I think you would be insane.
Anyone who thinks this guy can run is wrong, and anyone who thinks he should try is insane.
This man, Joe Biden, will lose handily.
But maybe that's the intent.
I don't know.
Maybe he's their sacrificial lamb.
I mean, I've said it before.
Joe Biden ran knowing that people hated Trump.
The Democrats thought they could win off of Obama nostalgia.
Joe Biden would win off that alone, and then when everything fails and he guts the system, here's the plan.
They'll blame him for it.
Here's what I'm seeing.
Joe Biden is such an awful president, I would not be surprised if Hillary Clinton actually runs.
And she says, you dealt with Trump, then you dealt with Biden, I'm here to save you!
And then that really awful taste of vomit in your mouth after you throw up a little bit, a lot of people might be like, I will take whatever I can get.
But I don't think Hillary can beat Trump anyway.
That may be what they're hoping, but I don't see it.
I think everybody knows Joe Biden is broken.
From the Daily Mail.
Anonymous Democrat calls Biden rudderless, aimless, and hopeless, in damning report that compares the gas tax holiday plan to throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks.
Yup.
An unnamed Democrat lawmaker criticized the Biden administration as rudderless, aimless, and hopeless in yet another damning report of turmoil between the U.S.
President and his party on Tuesday.
More than 20 Democrats working across Congress and the White House shared private concerns with CNN regarding President Joe Biden's ability to respond to back-to-back crises that have plagued the country for much of his term, and whether he's an effective leader of those behind him working to fix it.
Even the President's allies seem to be frustrated with the lack of action, as his measures to curb high gas prices and address the baby formula shortage fail to solve either problem.
One such example is Biden's recent demand for Congress to give Americans a three-month relief from the federal gas tax, in a bid to ease their pain with sky-high prices at the pump.
It had the appearance of throwing spaghetti at the wall and seeing what sticks, an official said.
The report also suggests Biden is taking out that frustration on his aides.
The president is described as having a tendency to berate advisors when a situation does not pan out as expected.
What did you think was going to happen when a guy who didn't campaign got elected?
This country is being ripped to shreds.
It also appears to conflict with Biden's day one promise to fire workplace bullies on the spot.
Quote, I'm not joking when I say this.
If you're ever working with me and I hear you treat another with disrespect, talk down to someone.
I promise you I will fire you on the spot.
The president said on January 20th last year.
Look at these gas prices, man.
Another unnamed Democrat lawmaker complained there was no fight left in Biden amid reports of concern from House reps up for re-election over what effect the President's unpopularity has on their races.
Quote, People understand that a lot of this is out of his hands, but what you want to see is the President out there swinging.
One aide is quoted as complaining, there's not a frontline office out there that isn't frustrated with the lack of action coming from the White House on inflation.
At the very least, the president should get caught trying to bring prices down just about every day.
People near the decision-making and policy processes have reportedly also expressed frustration that Biden's infamous inability to settle on decisions is getting in the way of further economic action against China and has promised to ease the burden on federal student loan debt.
Okay, I'm just going to say it.
What did you think was going to happen?
What did you think was going to happen?
This is back in June.
It's about a month ago.
Rising food prices are changing the way we eat and shop.
You think regular people don't see this?
A near, basically 12 percentage point increase in the cost of food.
You think people aren't seeing this?
They don't feel it?
Joe Biden is done.
I think he's done.
We have serious problems happening right now in this country.
Gas prices, food prices, a sleeping, dim-witted president, and then this.
From Fox News, Biden's military recruiting crisis, a demon of its own design.
The message is very clear.
If you're a patriotic young American, stay clear of the military.
Whoa.
America's armed forces are facing the worst recruiting crisis since the end of the draft in 1973.
The Biden Pentagon is blaming the economy.
The reality is far more troubling.
It's human nature to avoid suffering in danger, if possible, unless it's for the greater good, even though not everyone has caught up to be a cop, firefighter, or service member.
We see police retirement soaring, and recruiting not keeping up with defund-the-police mandatory COVID-19 vaccine places like Seattle.
While most of Texas finds it easy to fill police academy classes, it's not hard to understand why police are generally honored in Texas but not in Seattle.
Here's the issue.
The police are demonized.
It's a dangerous job.
The military has become woke.
They say it's the economy?
Is that a joke?
When the economy goes bad, people enlist.
It's a guaranteed job with a guaranteed salary.
They go on to say, the message is very clear if you're a patriotic young American.
Stay clear of the military.
After all, why put yourself under the command of people who at best are suspicious of you and at worst will demand you attend pronoun re-education camps?
I'm just so sick of it, man.
How can we expect this country to be anything if we are allowing woke cult members to run the show?
So what do you do?
Why didn't Donald Trump do anything about this?
Now he had the executive order banning woke trainings.
Two years too late.
He should have fired Milley.
He should have fired all of these people.
But Trump just did not get it.
He's old.
You didn't know.
And now look at our country.
Look what's happening.
Take a look at this.
From the Daily Caller, Senator Blackburn to introduce legislation backing National Guard members set to be fired over COVID vaccine refusal.
40,000 U.S.
Army National Guard members are set to be fired for refusing to take the COVID-19 vaccine.
This is June 30th.
So, I don't know exactly where we're at right now, but I don't see these people deciding to just go and get vaccinated.
They're going to get discharged.
That's where we are.
Now, as for the rest of this country, the ones who just keep lining up to defend Democrats despite the fact that Joe Biden is giving away Our oil, while our gas prices are through the roof.
Representative Mayra Flores is one of three Republican Latinas vying to transform South Texas politics by shunning moderates and often embracing the extreme.
Are you out of your minds?
You know what?
Fine.
So be it.
Say it.
Say it again.
Let everyone hear what you have to say.
South Texas is turning Republican.
Myra Flores is an example of that.
Let the New York Times call her far-right.
Let them call everyone far-right, you insane people!
Fine.
I think, if anything, this shows, truly, they've lost the plot, they are the minority, and we are winning.
The best thing they have to offer when a Republican Latina wins is that she is far right.
Incredible.
The New York Times says.
For years, Texas Republicans tried to win the Hispanic vote using a Bush-era brand of compassionate conservatism.
The idea was that a moderate's touch and a softer rhetoric on immigration were key to making inroads with Hispanic voters, particularly in Democrat strongholds.
Such was the Texas of old.
The Trump age has given rise to a new brand of Texas Republicans, one of whom is already walking the halls of Congress, the far-right Latina.
Representative Mayra Flores became the first Republican to represent the Rio Grande Valley in more than a century, after she won a special election last month and flipped the congressional seat from blue to red.
She also became the first Latina Republican ever sent by Texas to Congress.
Her abbreviated term lasts only through the end of the year, and she is seen as a long shot to win re-election in a full one.
But what is most striking is that Ms.
Flores won by shunning moderates, embracing the far right, and wearing her support for Donald Trump on her sleeve.
More Marjorie Taylor Greene than Kay Bailey Hutchison.
Her campaign slogan, God, Family, Country, was meant to appeal to what she calls the traditional values of her majority Hispanic district in the broader city of Brownsville.
She called for President Biden's impeachment.
Hear, hear.
She tweeted QAnon hashtags.
And she called the Democratic Party the greatest threat America faces.
In an interview in her still-barren office that day, after her swearing-in ceremony, Ms.
Flores was asked whether she considered Mr. Biden the legitimately elected president.
He's the worst president of the United States.
When asked three more times whether Mr. Biden had been legitimately elected, she repeated the same non-answer.
So, uh, no answer then, huh?
Two other Latino Republicans, Monica de la Cruz in McAllen and Cassie Garcia in Laredo, are also on the ballot in congressional races along the Mexican border.
All three GOP officials have taken to calling them a triple threat, share right-wing views on immigration, the 2020 election and abortion, among other issues.
The southern border of Texas is porous and broken.
And Hispanics who live there are voting Republican.
We saw a major swing in 2020.
We are seeing a special election victory now.
What does the New York Times think they're doing?
This is the weirdest thing to me.
Here's what I want to show you.
Joe Biden's approval rating.
I showed you before, but let's say 38.4%.
All right, let's talk business.
I run a business.
I make videos.
I want to appeal to the masses.
I want everybody to watch my videos, right?
Hey everybody, everyone hates Joe Biden.
Let's talk about how Joe Biden's bad.
That's the path, isn't it?
Now, to be fair, I've ragged on Joe Biden even when his approval rating was in the high 50s.
My position is not predicated upon supporting any kind of politics.
It's just either I like what he's doing or I don't.
I don't like Joe Biden.
But right now, with Joe Biden's approval rating being so low, Shouldn't every mainstream comedian, shouldn't every major corporation be against him?
It says something, doesn't it?
Oreo cookies should be coming out and being like, no, we don't support this stuff.
Instead, they come out with all the woke nonsense.
Late night comedy hosts should be ragging on Biden, being like, nobody likes him.
Instead, they make jokes about Trump.
They placate or defend Biden or provide minor, minor criticisms?
This is the crazy thing.
Here's the point.
Late night talk show hosts have no convictions, have no politics.
Regular Americans don't like this guy.
Why are they defending him?
Why aren't they calling out Joe Biden?
Why are they instead criticizing Myra?
Myra Flores, why are they criticizing her?
That to me is the craziest thing and it says, tribal cultism rules this day.
Joe Biden can give away our strategic oil reserves and they will say it's not his fault what's happening.
Joe Biden that they will claim can lower gas prices with policy but then claim the high prices aren't his fault?
What about his policies that raise gas prices?
It's a cult.
That's it.
I don't like the Q stuff.
I don't know much about Mayra Flores.
Good for her, she won.
But I'll tell you the truth.
Southern Texas is going Republican.
Why call her far-right?
If anything, she just believes wrong things?
Does that mean far-right, economically or culturally?
No.
The New York Times continues.
In 2020, The Valley's conservative culture started to exert a greater influence on politics.
Mr. Trump flipped rural Zapata County and narrowed the Democratic margin of victory in the four Valley counties and in other border towns.
Growing up down there, you always have closeted Republicans, said Mrs. Garcia, former aide to Senator Ted Cruz.
Now, the desire to embrace Republicans is really spreading.
They feel a genuine sense of belonging.
Other pro-Trump Latinas are running for the House seats in Virginia, Florida, and New Mexico, among other places.
Republican leaders and strategists say Ms.
Flores' win and the candidacies of other right-wing Hispanic women are proof that Latino voters are increasingly shifting to the right, or the left has gone too far left.
More than 100 Republican House candidates are Hispanic, a record number according to the National Republican Congressional Committee.
Democrats view the situation much differently.
Some Democratic leaders dismiss Ms.
Flores' victory as a fluke, the product of a low-turnout special election in which 28,990 people cast ballots, and a fleeting one.
Ms.
Flores, who was elected to serve the last six months of a retiring Democratic congressman's term, is running in November for a full term.
She faces a popular Democratic incumbent who is switching districts, Representative Vicente Gonzalez.
Democratic leaders are optimistic that Mr. Gonzalez will defeat Ms.
Flores and that Ms.
Garcia will lose her race against Rep.
Henry Queller, the conservative Democrat who narrowly beat a progressive challenger in a primary runoff.
I don't know if that's the case, though.
I think it's possible.
I talked about it before.
Everyone's like, wow, look at the red wave coming, and I'm like, 28,990 people?
29,000 people in a district of 770,000?
Sorry, I'm not convinced you're going to see in 2022, in the midterm, sorry, what you see in the special election.
However, I think a lot of people are switching parties.
One million Republicans, one million Democrats, sorry, switched to the Republican Party.
I think we may see the same trends in the general.
Because people are just looking at the Democrats saying, all you do is scream Trump.
All you do is scream impeachment.
And what does that do for any of us?
Nothing.
Today, they're concerned about wokeness.
They're concerned about what their kids are being taught.
They're concerned about things like Drag Queen Story Hour.
They're concerned about the southern border and the people running across, even in Mexico.
The Mexican citizens are concerned about the immigrants coming from Guatemala and Honduras.
Then these woke liberals, the affluent white female liberals, come out and say, we should let everyone come in.
And you get people like AOC saying, these are concentration camps.
Meanwhile, the people who live there are like, yo, we're not happy with this.
We're not happy with the fighting.
We're not happy with the cartels.
We're not happy with the kids dying.
And AOC and these other progressives come out and defend this stuff?
So I'm not convinced.
Now, I think it's a fair point.
We will see what happens, because far be it from me to think I know what the future holds.
The Republicans are going to claim they're going to win because they have to.
They want people to feel like they're going to win to go out and vote.
The Democrats are going to say the exact same thing for the exact same reason.
We can't lose, it was a fluke, and we're going to win in November.
I don't buy it.
When you take a look at all the polls, you can see very, very clearly that there's a red wave coming.
Let me tell you about this.
From NPR.
My body, my choice.
How vaccine foes co-opted the abortion rallying cry.
The craziest thing is apparently there's some poll showing that most people, most of these Democrats, don't want to use the phrase anymore.
I don't know exactly.
Let me see if it's in here somewhere.
This is what's fascinating to me.
When you have people not wanting to say, my body, my choice anymore, that's because the right, the colloquial cultural right, started using it.
They're taking over, whether you agree or disagree.
Democrats are saying, I don't want to be associated with that.
There were Democrats saying that they were going to keep wearing masks even when they didn't have to because they don't want people to think they're Republicans.
They are in a cult.
It's their obsession.
Anything to just not be the far right.
And that's why the New York Times does this.
And that's why they're desperate.
To smear anyone who challenges the insanity of Joe Biden and the Democrats as far-right or right-wing.
The only thing they have to campaign on is, don't be like the evil other.
But it's not working anymore.
And it's apparent in Joe Biden's approval ratings that most people, I mean a strong majority, two-thirds, are just like, I don't like what this guy is doing.
Now many of these people may not admit it.
Maybe.
These are the silent Trump supporters.
The silent Republicans.
Modern establishment culture.
Mainstream celebrity.
They're all anti-Republican.
So this is why a lot of people don't want to come out and say they're Republicans.
But I wonder.
The secret Trump vote they called it.
When the polls came out it was like a seven point swing.
They were all wrong.
And boy did they lose their minds.
We weren't wrong.
We did a good job.
It's not our fault.
It's everyone else who's wrong.
No, people just wanted to vote Republican.
They wanted to vote for Trump.
They wanted to vote for something other than your insanity.
In 2020, Joe Biden may have won.
But if you look at Congress, you can see that there were some districts that were considered safe Democrat that flipped.
That's the crazy thing.
Safe Democrat districts flipped.
What do you think's gonna happen now?
When Joe Biden has been given two years, what do you think's gonna happen with regular people when they're like, the Democrats sold me out, they sold out our oil, they are attacking my children, they are attacking my family, they're insulting my family, they're calling us every name in the book.
Yo.
When the red wave hit Congress in 2020, when Democrats lost handily, they maintained the House, to be fair, but they lost many seats.
Donald Trump had been president, yet for some reason people still voted Republican.
What do you think is going to happen to Congress when this country has been given two years of a failed, psychotic Joe Biden presidency?
I think you're going to see something much more profound.
I don't know for sure.
I remember in 2018, I thought That the culture war issues would permeate, and thus you'd see a major Republican victory.
I did not see how anyone would support these psychopaths!
But you know what?
Fool me once, shame on you.
Fool me twice, shame on me.
People voted for 31 Democrats because they said, we are not going to play these games.
We're gonna get in there and vote on real issues.
What'd they do?
Well, one guy out of Staten Island, for instance, he, uh, impeachment.
Jeff Van Drew switched parties, and then just won his primary in a landslide.
I think you can see it coming.
I think you can see it.
People in 2018 in the midterms were just thinking to themselves, okay, okay, I'm going to vote Democrat, but I'm going to vote for somebody in the primary who's not woke.
And then they got culture war.
Now, I don't think people are going to fall for it.
I think they're going to look at all these Democrats making all these promises, and they're going to say, enough.
And they're going to vote Republican.
Be it Latina or otherwise, Republicans are making gains amongst Asians, amongst the black community, amongst Latinos.
The Democrats just keep losing.
I wonder if we'll see some major landslides.
I don't know.
But I do know one thing.
This story.
That Biden has been exporting oil from our reserves to Europe and Asia.
It's like Biden walked right up to you, smiled, and then spat in your face.
He knows people are hurting.
What is he doing giving our oil away?
I can only assume.
It's for war.
And because they want this country to implode.
They're gutting it.
Remember that in November.
I don't think the Democrats are gonna... I'm sorry, I don't think the Republicans are gonna save you from anything.
But this, to me, is just too insane.
Makes my blood boil.
I'll leave it there.
Next segment's coming up at 8 p.m.
over at youtube.com slash TimCastIRL.
Thanks for hanging out.
I'll see you then.
Exposed by Dr. Jordan Peterson, followed up on by Dave Rubin, and now expanded upon by Elon Musk.
Elon Musk is chiming in on Jordan Peterson getting suspended from Twitter over referring to Elliot Page as Ellen Page.
Dave Rubin then said what happened to Jordan Peterson, but made the mistake of saying Ellen Page.
Elon Musk has chimed in saying Twitter has gone way too far.
We all sit patiently, waiting for Elon Musk to acquire Twitter.
It's been a few months now.
Maybe it will happen, maybe it won't.
I read somewhere that it was going to be maybe either August or perhaps October.
Who knows?
Perhaps Elon will come in and be like, yo, it's time to end this.
But boy, has Jordan Peterson actually, and accidentally, or maybe advertently, exposed the absurdity that is Twitter's rules on deadnaming and all of that stuff.
So what was Jordan Peterson really suspended for?
Maybe he said something mean.
But then the question is, why was Dave Rubin suspended?
Because he told you that someone else said something mean?
And Elon Musk comes out, joins the fray.
Doesn't do a whole lot.
I think the story is really, really important.
Because there's more than just this story about Jordan Peterson getting suspended.
There's also the aftermath from BuzzFeed News.
Twitter allowed Elliot Page's dead name to trend in spite of its hateful conduct policy.
The actor's dead name was listed under the site's trending tab for at least 45 minutes.
BuzzFeed reached out to Twitter and said, why is Ellen Page trending?
And they said, we'll delete it.
And think about how incredible that is.
And the message that sends.
So I've decided, Moron, Pimtool, Stupid, Dumbass, those are among my dead names.
Because, well, people used to call me those.
And if you call me that, well, you're deadnaming me.
Here's the point I'm bringing up.
Elon Musk is correct that they've gone too far.
We don't need him to say that.
But this idea that you can go on Twitter and call someone a dumbass, like a direct insult, you can swear at them, call them a mother effer, or, you know, a bunch of other things.
Basically, you can use words that you can't say on TV, as George Carlin described it, and that's totally fine!
But say a name that someone doesn't want to hear, and you will be suspended for it.
Now isn't that patently absurd?
We've got some other news in this vein as well.
Macy Gray is backtracking.
Bette Midler's trying to backtrack.
You see, these people are all cowards.
And that's why I say, good for Jordan Peterson saying, I am not taking this down.
I would rather die.
Jordan Peterson's correct.
Here's the story from Newsweek.
Elon Musk slams Jordan Peterson Twitter suspension.
Outspoken author and psychologist Peterson was suspended for violating the platform's rules for a tweet that dead-named transgender actor Elliot Page.
Peterson has since said he'd rather die than delete the tweet.
Early on Tuesday, Musk, who was often outspoken on a number of issues, was dragged into the debate when asked by a user what they thought.
And here's the tweet.
This Doge account with flying dollar bills says, By the way, did you see that JBP was recently banned from the Byrd app?
Strange times.
And he posts an image of ya boy Socrates saying, I dunno man, I'm beginning to think that maybe the ruling elite aren't as wise as they claim to be.
And then it says, learn more about how Socrates is corrupting the youth of Athens.
Brilliant.
Musk responded, yeah, they're going way too far in squashing dissenting opinions.
Yeah, Elon, it's way beyond that.
It's not squashing dissenting opinions.
Jordan Peterson didn't know he did anything wrong.
Dave Rubin also did not know he did anything wrong.
Now imagine this.
You're a regular person.
You go on Twitter and say something like, I am no fan of Ellen Page.
I think her acting is terrible.
And they say, you are negatively commenting and harassing your band.
And you're like, for what?
What did I do?
Isn't that creepy?
I suppose.
This is how they attempt to homogenize everything.
But I also want to point out this thing too.
I feel bad for Elliot Page here.
I genuinely do.
Imagine you are minding your own business and you come out and you're like, hey guys, from now on I'd prefer it if you referred to me as Bill.
And people are like, okay Bill, whatever you say man, literally don't care.
And then someone online who didn't get the memo is just like, I'm not a fan of Bobby.
And so Twitter's like, let's make everything about Elliot Page right now to drum up as much hate and anger directed at this person as possible.
Bravo, Twitter.
This is what's funny about the BuzzFeed story.
Twitter allowed Elliot Page's dead name to trend in spite of its hateful conduct policy.
BuzzFeed, you're making it worse.
You are all making it worse.
Nobody, nobody cares about the individual.
What's happened here is the story.
And this is what I was thinking about.
I was like, yo, you can't tell me I can't say a name.
Did you know there are many Ellen Pages in the world?
There are many of them.
In fact, I decided to search on Facebook and LinkedIn and Google for people named Ellen Page.
There are a lot of them.
So, when I'm talking about Ellen Page, who am I really talking about?
Am I talking about the orthodontist from Dubuque?
Am I talking about the accounts specialist from Omaha?
Ellen Page is not a particularly unique name.
Page is a common last name, Ellen is a common first name.
It's as if they think the only Ellen Page that exists is Elliot Page, or was, now the actor formerly known as Ellen Page.
You get my point.
This is what's absolutely insane about this.
It's the same with other Voldemorts we've had in the past.
What if I were to come out... What if I named... So here's something, I'm like... Twitter's telling me I can't say Ellen Page.
What if I'm not talking about Elliot Page?
What if I'm legit talking about the account specialist from Omaha?
What if I said Helen Page, right?
This is a story that I saw about a teacher who was doing inappropriate things with children named Helen Page.
Let's say you're like a softball player named Ellen Page.
And freshman year of college and you break some record or something, you know.
And then all of a sudden Ellen Page is trending.
And everyone's just like, no, no, no.
Elliot Page has decided that none of you are allowed to say Ellen Page, so Twitter takes down your name.
Isn't that crazy?
And what if I decide to, I don't know, what if I have a friend named Ellen Page and I want to talk about my friend?
Now I'm not allowed to say this person's name?
This is insanity.
Twitter is making it worse.
Isn't this the perfect example of why Twitter's policies must stop?
Reinstate Peterson.
I think Rubin's still suspended.
Bring him back.
This is the stupidest thing I've ever heard.
Look at this.
Alright, let's read from BuzzFeed.
Elliot Page's dead name appeared as a trending topic on Twitter on Tuesday, violating the site's own policy on hateful conduct.
The Umbrella Academy actor's dead name, the name he used before coming out as trans, was listed under the site's trending tab for at least 45 minutes.
And what if it was about a different Ellen Page?
What if, you know, what if it was about somebody else?
Does that matter?
That's the insane thing here.
According to Twitter's hateful conduct policy, blah blah blah, you can't use it to degrade and dehumanize.
Here's the thing.
Were people saying Ellen Page to dehumanize Elliot Page, or were they just saying a name?
You psychotic morons.
That's why I say I feel bad for Elliot Page, who's probably just minding their own business, trying to do their thing, and all of a sudden now there's a news cycle, not even about Elliot Page, but kind of, all because Twitter decided to put this front and center.
If Twitter ignored Jordan Peterson, there'd be no news cycle here.
And now it's growing and getting crazier and crazier.
Think about how insane that is.
I think Twitter actively is trying to cause harm to people.
I genuinely believe so.
You know why?
You take a look at policies like this, where they ban Peterson and Rubin, and now people are like, ban Ben Shapiro next!
It's like, oh yeah, make Elliot Page that much more in the news.
This is what they do.
When someone posts death threats, we see it all the time, Twitter's like, we're not taking that down.
It's happened to me, it's happened to many other people on the left and the right.
And I've had people post to my address, sorry, we're not taking that down.
It's really amazing.
Okay.
I think it's because Twitter actively wants people to be at each other's throats.
I genuinely do.
Because there's no way, after all these years, after everything I've said to the people at Twitter, everything in the news, that Twitter is just accidentally fanning the flames and pouring gasoline on a fire.
I can only assume it's intentional.
Here we go.
After BuzzFeed News contacted a Twitter spokesman, Page's dead name no longer appeared to be trending.
Twitter spokesman Trenton Kennedy confirmed the site had removed it as a trending topic.
Trenton Kennedy, you psychotic moron.
Congratulations on bringing more hate and anger towards Elliot Page, who quite literally has nothing to do with this story.
Someone else talked about Elliot Page, you took action, and now everything is focused on Elliot Page.
That is mind-numbingly idiotic.
Now, Jordan Peterson made a video, got like a million views.
Then I made a video, got several hundred thousand views.
Now I'm making another video.
Bravo!
Bravo.
This is what they do.
They do it on purpose.
It's like they want everyone to just be as angry as possible.
Well, here we are in the absurdity of the modern condition.
From the Daily Mail.
Macy Gray backtracks statement that changing your parts doesn't make you a woman that she made in no holds barred
Pierce Morgan interview and now says it was it was grossly misunderstood. Oh, it's laughable you spineless and
pathetic cowards Singer Macy Gray has walked back her statement. Oh
Oh, no.
Oh, Bette Midler did, too.
Bette Midler responds to backlash over trans-inclusive language erasing women.
This is funny because the other night we had Mary Morgan of Pop Culture Crisis on TimCast IRL.
And we were talking about this, too.
I think this was in the After Hours session over at TimCast.com.

Neria was like, don't praise Bette Midler and Macy Gray.
Macy Gray already deleted the tweets and she's gonna walk this back.
Well, Mary, you are correct.
I mean, a lot of people thought this was going to happen.
It's funny.
Macy Gray tried to backtrack on her statement that changing your parts doesn't make you a woman by tweeting that her comment was grossly misunderstood.
No, it wasn't.
You're just a loser.
You're a spineless loser.
This is what it's all about.
Macy Gray says, I got nothing but love for the LGBT plus and transgender communities.
I've been a supporter since day one and never a fake one.
My statement on Piers Morgan was grossly misunderstood.
I respect everyone's right to be whatever they want to be.
But she said, truth hurts.
India Willoughby says, as for Macy, how to kill what's left of your career, she said, truth hurts.
It's funny.
Macy Gray, for a while, was standing up, saying truth hurts, and then she just caved.
How sad.
She said, I wasn't defining trans women, just women.
Because I know what it means to be one.
I don't know what it means to be a trans woman, and I never said I did, but that goes both ways.
Apparently, she said something like, what, if you want me to call you a her, I will, because that's what you want, but that doesn't make you a woman just because I call you a her, and just because you got surgery.
She says, I know, I would say a human, what is a woman, a human being with boobs, how about you start there and a vagina?
Morgan then added, blah, blah, blah.
I totally agree.
If you want me to call her her, great, we get it.
So apparently she came out and said something like, woman is a title.
You know, she wanted to say a woman goes through a completely unique experience.
And surgery and finding yourself doesn't change that.
Being a little girl is a whole epic book, you know?
You can't have that just because you want to be a woman.
Wow.
When Piers pointed out that Harry Potter author J.K.
K. Rowling had been criticized for it, Grey said, but it's the truth.
I don't think you should be called transphobic just because you don't agree.
There's a lot of judgment and throwing stones at people for saying what it is.
However, social media users were quick to brand the singer a TERF.
Oh no.
And so she came out and was like, no, no, it's like an earned thing.
What was she saying?
She received backlash for her comments on the flag and whatever.
She basically came out and said that, you know, nobody's just a woman, a young girl isn't a woman, it has to be earned or something like that.
It's kind of a weird nonsensical backtrack because there's no real way to backtrack from what she said.
You can't.
She outright said it, now she's getting flagged and she's trying to.
So she's trying to say that you earned the title or something.
It's ridiculous nonsense.
Today's a good day, says JK Rowling, to buy her whole back catalogue.
Well, Bette Midler came out and she's like, I didn't mean it!
I just read the New York Times!
Yo, what is wrong with these people?
This story right here shows you the stupidity and the vapid reality of these celebrities.
Bette Midler.
She tweeted, Women of the world, we are being stripped of our rights
over our bodies, our lives, our even our name.
They don't call us women anymore, they call us birthing people, or menstruators.
And even people with vaginas, don't let them erase you.
Every human on earth owes you, the tweet continued.
So a bunch of people responded.
Someone says, as a woman without a uterus, I support inclusive language to normalize that trans men need reproductive health care.
Two, 100%.
It's not trans people who are taking away my right to bodily autonomy.
Bodily anatomy?
Do you mean autonomy?
We are all fighting the same fight.
Don't do this bet.
Birthing people as language used to make sure we don't exclude trans comrades.
It doesn't erase women at all.
Several of the more extreme comments have compared the 76-year-old Hocus Pocus star to being a TERF.
Heavens.
She said in her response, People of the world!
My tweet about women was a response to this fascinating and well-written piece in the New York Times on July 3rd.
There was no intention of anything exclusionary or transphobic in what I said.
It wasn't about that.
Except that's literally what the New York Times was saying.
Midler's tweet seemingly came in response to the SCOTUS decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
That's right.
She was allowed to make the tweet in the context of the far-right and the far-left.
I love this.
The New York Times article reads, The far right and far left agree on one thing,
women don't count.
Amazing.
Retweeting an opinion piece from the New York Times, the Beaches star wrote... Okay, so we read that one.
It's amazing.
B. Lee says, another over the hill.
Another over the hill has been, like Debra Messing, trying to stay relevant with her rants.
Yeah, sure.
I'll tell you what this is.
Bette Midler has no idea what's going on.
None whatsoever.
Our culture is fractured and confused.
Celebrities are really dumb.
That's it.
They're really, really dumb.
Jordan Peterson, when he says Ellen Page and gets suspended, he says, screw off, I'd rather die.
He just comes out and says it.
I'm not changing my mind for you weirdos.
To you, to creepos complaining.
Bette Midler says, I will say whatever you tell me.
It's like Anakin Skywalker dropping to his knees, I will do whatever you say.
Oh, don't you love those pop culture references?
Yeah, well, these are celebrities.
And this is what you get.
These people never had any real thoughts.
They are just marketing agents.
That's what they are.
What is the purpose of a celebrity?
To sell you a product.
Why is it that a movie comes out and they'll be like, celebrity in movie.
Because people will be like, oh, celebrity and movie, that's a marketing ploy.
And they'll have celebrity come out with celebrityette.
And they'll be like, we're dating, and now our names are the same name.
It's like you'll get some guy named John and some woman named Mary, and they'll be like, Jerry, don't you love Orman?
They combine their names.
Jennifer, no, no, no, it was, um, Bennifer, that's what it was, Bennifer.
Ben Affleck and J. Lo was Bennifer.
That's just so stupid, but this is what they are.
Celebrities do fake relationships to generate attention and that's been the game for a long time.
Our culture has been sick for a long time and now something is changing.
The internet is giving the rise to people of principle to be prominent influencers.
It used to be that, look, if you were a big corporation, if you were a movie, you'd be like, we want a celebrity.
Someone who commands attention but is not controversial.
Because controversy, it's bad for business.
That's how it used to be.
But now controversy is the name of the game.
There's a famous line, perhaps it's apocryphal, that Michael Jordan said something like, conservatives buy shoes too.
And apparently he didn't really say it, but someone's claiming he did.
It was hearsay, and he probably did say it.
Someone was like, hey, why don't you speak up about this thing?
This country used to have people who were like, I don't want to offend half the country.
They're, you know, they're fans.
Now it's people being like, don't know, don't care, tell me what to say and I will say it.
And you get confused responses like this.
Here's the best part.
The news articles about Bette Midler saying what she said will remain forever.
The news articles of her walking it back will remain forever.
So you see this interesting internet phenomenon.
Someone's gonna be like, you know, ten years from now, remember when Bette Midler was a bigot?
And they'll share it.
Someone else will go, remember when Bette Midler stood up for trans rights?
And they'll share a different article.
And it's like, how do you track for chronology when you have all of this spattering of news and you don't know about what came after?
This is a really important point.
A news story might come out in 2018 where it's like, you know, Donald Trump does a backflip.
And if you don't know that a year later he did a frontflip, you would just think that's who Donald Trump is.
So how do you find out about news after the fact?
There are a lot of stories I know about and I reference.
And I have to do update fact checks on them when I reference them before doing these videos.
So I'll often Google search to make sure.
But there'll be a story and it'll be like, you know, new law passed about smoking in a building.
And then if I reference it on the show and say something like, and there was that law that was passed, remember, where they said you can't smoke in buildings?
Then someone will go, actually, that was repealed last month, or two days ago.
And I'm like, really?
If you don't see the latest updated news, you could be wrong, and people, they believe incorrect things.
So here's where we are.
I'll say it again.
It's insane to me that Elliot Page, I mean no ill will towards, but they did this to your name and now this is the hill to die in apparently.
Will you say Ellen Page?
What if you're not even talking about What if you're not even talking about the actor?
That's the crazy thing.
It is now any reference to Ellen Page or anything similar is a direct reference to the actor.
No longer, and I'll put it this way too, Elliot Page's claim to fame and name is no longer about acting or being in shows or movies.
It is only about being trans and deadnaming.
That's it.
If you Google search Ellen Page and look at the history archive, it's like Emmy nominations or like BAFTA awards or whatever, just like ceremonies, movies, awards, accomplishments.
But if you look at the modern news, it's all just deadname trans, trans deadname, even Umbrella Academy.
Season 3, the news is all, Elliot Page is trans.
That's it.
That's the news.
Congratulations.
No longer is it about accomplishment.
It's about the controversy over your name.
That's how stupid everything has become.
Whatever, man.
I don't care about... And I want to say something, too.
I've not watched the latest season of Umbrella Academy, but to me it's really strange that they made the character trans.
Okay, Elliot Page, transgender, in the show Umbrella Academy, The character, Victor, is not Ellen Page!
Or Elliot Page!
Why?
Did they have to make the character trans?
It makes no sense.
Anyway, maybe we'll talk about that on Pop Culture Crisis or something.
Check out Pop Culture Crisis on YouTube, maybe we'll talk about there.
