Senator Rand Paul - January 17th, Hour 3

Time Text
This is an iHeart podcast.
Coming up next, our final news roundup and information overload hour.
All right, news roundup and information overload hour.
Our toll-free number is 800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
A lot of news surrounding Dr. Fauci and how right Senator Rand Paul, medical Dr. Ram Paul, has been the entire time and frankly, all the lies now that are being exposed.
I mean, it almost went underreported.
It was reported, but it was like, why did you force something on us?
Follow the science, follow the science, follow the science.
And then Fauci says, yeah, there was no science behind the social distancing of six feet rule that we made up.
The guy that first said on 60 Minutes in March of 2020, a mask isn't going to work.
Come on.
It maybe stops a droplet, but it's not going to work.
You know, that evolved into, you know, every mask mandates and maybe two masks we ought to be wearing and maybe masks in perpetuity.
But now he's admitting, now we're hearing, oh, yeah, we just made it up.
There's no scientific background to that.
Listen.
Every aspect of that ending the COVID outbreak in 30 days has some aspect of it of physical separation, whether that's avoiding crowds, whether that's staying six feet away from people, whether that's doing teleworking.
All of it does that.
That's our most important tool.
Avoid crowded places, six foot distance.
Maintain that.
I believe, and I think there's good enough data to say that aerosol transmission does occur.
So by aerosol, make sure you know what we're talking about.
Generally, if you have droplets that come out of a person, they generally go down within six feet.
So if you're six feet distance and you're wearing a mask, you don't worry about that.
You know, social distancing, you know, whatever.
The Anthony Fauci also telling Ram Paul that the NIH has not funded gain of function research at the Wuhan lab.
We know that is not true through the EcoHealth Alliance.
We'll get into this with Ram Paul in a second, but I would just want to remind you of this.
Will you in front of this group categorically say that the COVID-19 could not have occurred through serial passage in a laboratory?
I do not have any accounting of what the Chinese may have done, and I'm fully in favor of any further investigation of what went on in China.
However, I will repeat again, the NIH and NIAD categorically has not funded gain of function research to be conducted in the Wuhan Institute of Iran.
You do support it in the U.S.
We have 11 labs doing it and you have allowed it here.
We have a committee to do it, but the committee is granted every exemption.
And if you want to take it a step further at the World Economic Forum in Davos in Switzerland, you know, where all these climate alarmist cultists are gathering after they're flying in on their private jets and putting out one big carbon footprint, you've got Preeta Reddy, Apollo Hospital's India vice chair, saying lockdowns help during COVID and are important going forward.
Oh, great.
Let's lock down the world again.
This is insane.
Listen.
And I think that the leadership, the quick decisions and the insistent decisions to do what we have to do at the right time, sometimes they're hard decisions.
You've faced that.
But I think to take the right decision, the hard decision, but to take a decision has been very important.
And I think a population of 1.3 billion people, if we have been able to come out of this relatively, you know, better than which could have been anticipated.
And the fact that there was early intervention of vaccination, there was a lockdown.
It was hard, but it was a decision-making which I think helped us.
I think that's important going forward.
Anyway, joining us now, Kentucky Senator Ram Paul, his best-selling book, Deception, The Great COVID Cover-Up.
He said about Fauci at an interview Monday that he will go down, not go down favorably in history over his handling of the COVID-19 pandemic, and frankly, that the former presidential medical advisor should be behind bars for purportedly lying to Congress in previous hearings,
quote, his actions in covering up the origins of the virus will go down in history as probably one of the most egregious and infamous public health decisions in our lifetime.
Every step of the way, Fauci has publicly protested and said we never funded any gain of function research in Wuhan.
But if you look at his private emails, it tells a very different story, which of course was chronicled in Senator Ram Paul's book, Who Joins Us Back Again.
You know, you've got the emails.
This starts in early January.
You know, we first learned of COVID in December of what was it, 2019.
But in early January of 2020, there was a flurry of email messages going back and forth about whether or not any of NIH money might have gone to fund that lab in Wuhan.
Is that correct?
Yeah, when you read through the emails, these are private emails between Anthony Fauci, assistants of his at NIH, as well as various virologists around the country and around the world.
The emails begin about five or six in the evening, and they sort of reach a fever pitch by about 10 o'clock.
But they're going on, and you can sort of sense this tension.
You can sense this buildup of fear and worry that there may be some guilt attached to this.
People may discover that this was funded and approved by Anthony Fauci.
The emails go to three in the morning.
At three in the morning is an email to somebody named Bob Kadlak.
And at the time, I was like, who's Bob Kadlak?
And I didn't know for about a year and a half until I met Bob Kadlak that he was in charge of the safety committee that should have reviewed this COVID research that was going on in China, but he never saw it.
The reason he never saw it, Anthony Fauci diverted this.
He kept it from the review committee.
And then when I asked him in committee, what about it, he says, all my experts, all my experts said there was no gain of function here.
And it's like, show us the deliberations.
So for three years, I've been asking the NIH, show me the deliberations, show me the discussion between the NIH scientists that said the research in Wuhan was not gain of function.
They won't give it to me.
I finally, after a year and a half, got the Democrat chairman of the Homeland Security Committee.
I'm the ranking Republican.
I got the Democrat chairman to sign a letter.
This was five months ago.
We've got nothing.
I called Secretary Bechera, who's head of health and human services, overseas NIH.
I called him about a month ago with the Democrat chairman on the phone, and we both haranged him, and we still get nothing.
So there is a giant cover-up of COVID here and the U.S. taxpayers' dollars that went to fund this.
And it was all approved by Anthony Fauci.
And so all that talk at the time, even though they're privately talking about gain of function and the Wuhan Virology Lab, where they knee of function research took place, they knew they also researched coronaviruses.
They knew all of that.
And then they started pushing this whole wet market conspiracy theory.
And many people in the media, complicit as they are, just went along with it.
And all along, they knew better.
Is that what you're saying?
Yeah, in public, Anthony Fauci directed them to all write an article for a news journal, tell the public that if you say it came from the lab, if you say it was a lab leak, that that's a conspiracy theory.
But if you see what they're saying in private, it's the opposite.
So in private, February 1st of 2020, Anthony Fauci sends an email to a group of these people that had had a phone call, and he summarizes it by saying, all right, we all agree we've looked at the genetic sequence of COVID, and it looks like it was manipulated in a lab.
We all also know and are more suspicious of this because we know that lab, the Wuhan Virology Institute, we know they do gain of function research there.
And he describes research that we now know was funded by the NIH.
So really all of his lies, everything he has said about not funding gain of function research, he's admitted in private that he actually did.
But in public, he continued to call people crazy.
Facebook downplayed and would not let anybody's story go anywhere on their algorithm if it said that this likely came from a lab.
So yeah, there was a great deal of cover-up, but I'm not going to let Anthony Fauci get away with it.
I don't have the power to arrest him or prosecute him, but I'm doing everything I can to make sure that in history, it will be recorded that a million people died because of his decision to fund dangerous research in China.
We also know that from 2012 on, Anthony Fauci was saying publicly that, yes, there is a danger, but even if a pandemic occurs, the knowledge will be worth the risk.
And so if anybody in America knows somebody who died from COVID, they need to realize that Anthony Fauci says that the knowledge they gained from the research in China was worth the risk.
And he's been let scot-free.
Well, he had said that about gain of function back in 2012.
Even if it led to a worldwide pandemic, he still supported gain of function.
How stupid is that?
Yeah, and just irresponsible and such a great judgment error.
I mean, an error such that someone who would say something like that, and now that a million Americans have died, would still be saying, oh, the knowledge is worth the risk.
That kind of person should never be near policy.
And yet, presidents of both parties rewarded him.
He went on and on, got Medal of Freedom.
He's gotten all of this stuff.
And to this day, has never been any repercussions.
A private foundation gave him a million dollars.
He and his wife made about $800,000 a year combined salary.
His wife was in charge of ethics of the NIH.
So if Anthony Fauci were accused of an ethical judgment error, he would be reviewed by his wife.
So this is the kind of incestuous thing that led to a four-decade rule over there and abuse of power.
When he was asked to testify recently, hundreds of times he says, I don't recall.
So he was smart enough to tell you what to do, that you had to wear two or three masks, that you had to stand in a circle six feet away, that you have plexiglass in your restaurant and 25% occupancy.
He was smart enough for all these mandates to tell us what to do, but he's not, you know, doesn't have enough intellect to remember anything that went on when he's asked under oath.
Well, how is it possible he's not being held accountable for all this?
I sat there in stunned silence.
I didn't even have words to describe how I felt when their mantra was follow the science, follow the science.
If you get the vaccine, you're never going to get COVID.
You'll never spread it to anybody else.
That turned out to be quickly debunked as the new variants, which they knew would be coming, started to evolve.
And yet they said it anyway.
Let me ask you this, in retrospect, and you at the time came under heavy fire.
And I know because I had you on the program at the time.
And you were one of the few voices, and I put on a number of other smart doctors that know more than me, but you were saying natural immunity is the best immunity out there.
And you had gotten COVID fairly early on, and you were public about it.
And yet you were excoriated for taking that position.
And in retrospect, you know, how do you look at the vaccines now?
And do you believe that, you know, the blood clotting increases that I hear about anecdotally or aneurysms, et cetera.
Do you believe any of this is connected to that vaccine or those vaccines, or we don't know?
The biggest bit of knowledge that's being hidden from us, they know this.
The government has the data.
CDC has the data and they won't release it.
And here's the number one question everybody should ask.
I'm 70 years old, let's say.
I'm 70 years old.
I've had two vaccines and I've had COVID twice.
What are my odds of going to the hospital or dying if I do nothing else?
Is I just assume, look, I've got some vaccine immunity.
I've had some natural immunity.
Is this enough?
Well, they don't include that in any of their studies.
Their studies don't have the variable of natural immunity, and almost everybody in the country has some natural immunity now if they've had it.
What are my chances if I don't do any more vaccines?
Instead, they just say get vaccinated.
Every time there's a variant, you're supposed to get vaccinated.
You're supposed to blindly do everything Anthony Fauci and the CDC tells you to do.
But they have the knowledge.
Give us the data and tell us.
If you tell me I've got a 5% chance of dying next time I get COVID, I might go get vaccinated.
But if you tell me it's zero and nobody is dying that's had the disease before and been vaccinated a couple times, then maybe I don't need to get it.
But because they give us that information, I suspect they've become simply salesmen for big pharma.
Dr. Ram Paul is with us.
By the way, if you've not read his new book, it's great.
It's called Deception, the Great COVID Cover-Up.
It's on Hannity.com, Amazon.com, bookstores around the country.
I mean, it exposes Anthony Fauci for who he is.
But we continue with Senator Ram Paul.
Is there anything legally, is there any liability that can result from all of this?
You know, we're being told to socially distance at six feet.
Now we're being told, we didn't have any science to back that up.
I'm like, that infuriates me.
Get the shot, you won't get COVID.
Get the shot, you won't infect other people.
Okay, that all turned out to be a lie.
The only one thing that I, again, anecdotally, and I always told people, I'm not a doctor, ask your own doctor, but if you test positive, ask your doctor about monoclonal antibodies.
That was the one treatment, therapeutic treatment that I saw that worked the best based on my interviews of many, many doctors.
They don't even make it anymore.
Now the only thing I think they have to offer is Paxlovid, which has a pretty significant percentage of people that get rebound COVID if they take it.
I'll give you the last word.
We have 20 seconds.
I agree with you on the monoclonal antibodies.
One thing government could do is get out of the way of the manufacturer of these.
If we get another pandemic, we should allow them very quickly to make monoclonal antibodies because you're right.
But the antibodies change with the variants.
Right now, I think it's not severe enough to probably need monoclonal antibodies.
But if a new one comes out, we need to make sure the government is out of the way and lets the companies that develop these do this in an expeditious fashion.
All right, Senator Ram Paul, I really urge people, if they've not gotten a hold of your book, it's very eye-opening.
The great deception, the great COVID cover-up.
We'll put a link on Hannity.com.
It's on Amazon.com and bookstores around the country.
The research you did is phenomenal.
Great job, Senator.
We appreciate you being with us.
Thanks, Sean.
Hi, 25 to the top of the hour.
Our toll-free number is 800-941 Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
I have said for a long time, we were just speaking with Senator Ram Paul, and we know now that these international globalist organizations like the WHO, they did nothing but become the propaganda arm for China.
They were not forthcoming with truth and information.
And frankly, it's just another well-funded, well-U.S.
money-funded organization that is useless.
I mean, then you have the, of course, United Nations, historically anti-Semitic, historically anti-American.
Why we continue to pay billions of dollars annually Paris climate accords.
How stupid are we to go into an agreement giving into the climate alarmist religious cultists, and we pay the bulk of money, yet countries like China and India are classified as developing nations and pay next to nothing.
That makes us a pretty dumb country to do that.
Donald Trump pulled us out of that agreement.
Joe Biden put us right back in it.
Now you have the World Economic Forum, another useless globalist organization.
You know, here's this guy, Yuval Harari.
This is a clip from 2022.
He's a World Economic Forum advisor saying we just don't need the vast majority of the population in today's world.
Wow.
Listen.
And now fast forward to the early 21st century when we just don't need the vast majority of the population.
Because the future is about developing more and more sophisticated technology, like, again, artificial intelligence, bioengineering.
Most people don't contribute anything to that except perhaps for their data.
And whatever people are still doing, which is useful, this technology is increasingly will make redundant and will make it possible to replace the people.
I mean, what would we just, who's going to decide who we're going to eliminate?
We'll just replace the people.
Just get rid of them.
Wow.
Talk about, I thought China's one-child policy was a bad idea, which it still is.
By the way, China's stock market plunged after Donald Trump's Iowa landslide.
That was a pretty interesting development to me.
We know the Biden Justice Department admitted that they knew all about the incriminating evidence on Hunter Biden laptop long before the FBI took possession of the actual laptop.
Well, we had actually reported that they knew about it in October of the year before.
And we, once again, have been proven right.
What a shock.
What a surprise.
Listen, I want to remind you, everybody needs a personal safety and security plan for yourself, your family, your business, your employees.
And I love options.
I love choices and I love technology.
I've always been a big supporter of the Second Amendment.
I've always had a pistol carry permit all my adult life.
And I pray to God that I would never have to use it.
But then I learned about Burner, B-Y-R-N-A, and I found the technology fascinating.
I just instantly fell in love with it because it works.
It's that simple.
And what it is, is a non-lethal alternative to protect you, to protect your family, to protect your home, to protect your business, to protect your employees.
Now, I've given many away as gifts.
I'm just a loyal burner customer, and I love to buy them for people.
And what they do is they fire projectiles that release tear gas and two separate pepper sprays.
And you can see on their videos, when you go to their website, burner.com slash Hannity, B-Y-R-N-A dot com slash Hannity, it'll incapacitate any perpetrator, whether they invade your home or your business.
You have a non-lethal option.
I mean, just think about this.
I personally own several.
I bought many for friends and family and people that I know.
They're legal in all 50 states.
They don't require a background check.
And Burner can ship their less lethal pistols, rifles, and shotgun shells.
You put it in your own shotgun right to your door.
And if you want to be a responsible gun owner, you know, we always need to be strategic and rethink our approach.
I mean, with your shotgun shell, I'm like, I can hit a target easily 100 feet away.
No problem.
50 feet away with their pistol, and I love their Mission 4 rifle, which is phenomenal.
I mean, its range is phenomenal.
Anyway, I think when you look at this technology, you're going to want the choice, the option that I have adopted as part of my personal safety and security plan.
But anyway, go to the website, check out their videos.
It's burner, B-Y-R-N-A.com/slash Hannity.
Check it out today.
I think you're going to be blown away.
Anyway, let's go to our busy phones and let's go to Vegas and say hi to Dennis K-Dawn Radio.
Dennis, hi, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
I'm doing fine, Sean, and thank you for having me on the air.
Thank you.
I wanted to comment about several things.
One was the gentleman from South Carolina telling you or asking you or wanted an explanation on why people throw a switch and they have to suffer for four years.
In my mind, and that was basically the reason I wanted to call, is that the Democrats are showing Republicans that they're painting the future of what will happen with Trump.
The Republicans are not doing the same.
Imagine what immigration will be at the election time and every year after.
I mean, we'll have 25 million to 35 million people in this country illegally and shipping them all to New York or Chicago or Philadelphia.
It's going to be a nightmare for those cities if they don't go bankrupt and the states follow them.
But, you know, I just wanted to say, Republicans need to paint the future.
What happens if we stay with Biden?
They do talk about it sometimes, but they don't really paint the future in the sense of immigration.
You're going to have the people, bankrupt cities.
You know, kids are thrown out of school.
Schools are used for shelters for the homeless.
Crime's going up.
Trafficking through the border.
You know what the difference is?
I hear what you say.
All Republicans have to do is tell the truth.
There's not a single Democratic policy that's working.
I mean, it's that simple.
It's that easy.
You can talk about the borders.
You can talk about the economy.
You can talk about foreign policy.
You know, none of there's nothing that I can think of that they are proposing or what they are doing is working.
The debt that they're accumulating, you know, wide open borders, the threat to national security, the economic impact on every big city, every small town now, every city in town is a border town.
The absolute chaos around the world because Joe Biden has abdicated his role as America, being the world leader.
I mean, we see the devastating consequences.
It's very transparent.
They have to lie.
Democracy in peril.
January 6th, January 6th, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
And, you know, they did just an abortion is going to have back alley abortions.
That's all they've got.
And Republicans are racist and the rest of the playbook.
That's all they have.
And I don't think it's going to work because people are so negatively impacted by it all.
I think they're fed up with it, and they know instinctively that we're capable of so much more.
And things were so much better when Trump was in office.
I agree.
But if you don't have a picture of what the future holds, they stick with the past.
And that's how calm I'm saying.
All they have to do is say.
They can stick with the past, but the present is killing everybody.
So I think they're getting the message, don't you?
I think it's missed by a lot of the older people and a lot of the other people that are involved.
Not just the older, older feels it more than anyone.
But the issue is that they don't know, well, what happens?
It's going to stop next month.
It's going to do this.
Biden promised that Democrats are promising everything.
But the reality is that they haven't promised anything, only to do more of the same.
And that's the point that I'm trying to say.
I hear you.
And guess what?
What's the definition of insanity?
Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.
No, I hear where you're coming from.
Dennis, appreciate it.
All my best to my friends in Vegas.
Michigan, Derek, next, Sean Hannity Show.
How are you?
Hey, Sean, a privilege to talk to you.
What's going on?
The privilege is all mine.
Well, I don't know about that, but hey, I want to make a comment about the FAA and DEI and how the FAA is lowering requirements for some of the jobs.
Back in 1987, I joined the military.
I wanted to be in the infantry, but I failed the colorblind test.
I failed it bad.
They were laughing at me.
And I couldn't be in the infantry.
It was a requirement.
And I did serve in the military, but I was in a supply chain.
So, you know, they have requirements for a reason.
And I ask, why can't I be in the infantry?
I'm colorblind.
They go, well, it has to do with certain equipment and having to be able to see your reds and greens and being able to fire that equipment, artillery for one.
And that was the bottom line.
So it's just an example of where we've come from in all these years to now.
Well, maybe I should join the military again.
Maybe I could be in the infantry if I rejoined.
Well, I mean, the fact that the FAA using DEI or diversity, equity, inclusion, is now talking about even hiring people that have mental problems.
Excuse me.
What part of that being a very dangerous formula do they not understand?
And I have great compassion for people that struggle with mental illness.
I really do.
And I hope some of these people can get well and get the help that they need.
But to put them in positions in the FAA when people's lives are in jeopardy based on decisions that are being made on the ground at airports, somebody mentally unstable, not a good idea.
And, you know, I'm sorry you didn't get into the infantry.
You know what?
They had, you know, requirements.
Unfortunately, you didn't make the requirement.
I can understand the process.
I'm sure you do as well.
A lot of people had that experience.
But, you know, this is insanity.
And this is what wokeness is bringing us.
It's bordering on insanity.
I never thought I'd be dealing with half of this in my life.
You know, there was a story that came out.
Where did I see this?
California state AG says state law allows schools to hide students' trans identities from their parents.
Why?
You know, something that's going on in school and they're aiding and abetting their children.
Parents are not potted plants.
They're actually people that have their own thoughts, their own intellect.
They have their own value system.
And it's not up to teachers and administrators and bureaucrats to be circumventing the values that parents hold near and dear to their heart.
How about they teach reading, writing, math, science, arithmetic, history, and computers, and we move on.
All right, Joe and LJ next, Sean Hannity Show.
What's up, Joe?
Great to hear from you.
Sean, I just saw a Georgia poll where Trump is beating Biden by eight points, and I want to predict that both Haley and DeSantis will get out, and Trump will win the nomination and then go on to have a landslide win over Biden, with your help, your great radio show and television show, but I was real happy to see Trump beating Biden in Georgia today by eight points.
I think it's too early to tell.
The polls will start really mattering after Labor Day, but they're certainly worth paying attention to.
The fact that Joe Biden has lost such a large percentage of what is known as the Democratic Party base and has the lowest approval rating of any president in modern and modern times certainly does not bode well for Joe Biden, but it's going to be, what are we, 292 days away from election day.
And we got a long way to go, and a lot's going to happen between now and then.
But you know what?
I'd rather be where we are at this moment than where they are.
Anyway, Joe, we love you down in LOJ.
Thank you, my friend.
Richard in California.
Richard, hi, you're on the Sean Hannity show.
Hey, good morning, Sean.
Afternoon, I should say.
Pleasure to talk to you.
Pleasure's all mine.
What's on your mind today?
Yeah, a couple days ago, you were doing a segment talking about the American dream, and I tried to get through, but I couldn't make it.
So I think I tried today.
This American dream is a real thing.
I'll be 82 on the 20th Saturday.
I'm a Navy vet.
I worked in the defense and aerospace industry for 39 years.
And my American dream is what I made.
You know, you make it yourself.
It's not handed to you.
And a lot of young people don't understand that.
It's just by going out, going to work, obeying the laws, just set a path for yourself.
You know, I was a high school dropout, and I realized after I got married and having children, I needed to do better for them.
So I went back to high school, got my diploma, then went to junior college, and I started sweeping floors at Pratt ⁇ Whitney.
I wound up being a manager when I retired.
And I live there.
You know what?
That's awesome.
I mean, what a great story.
And by the way, the message is perfect.
I talked to a friend yesterday, and he's got like three irons in the fire.
And he's like, what do you think?
Should I pick one over the other?
I said, well, can you handle all three?
And he said, yeah.
I said, handle all three.
You know, that's pulling yourself up by your bootstraps and dedication and hard work and sacrifice and just the discipline of life is good for everybody.
And, you know, your advice is solid.
It holds today.
And look at the beautiful life you've built for yourself.
I hope you're very proud of that.
By the way, happy birthday and thank you for your service to your country.
You sound like just a typical, quintessential, wonderful, great American.
You're the person that makes this country great.
And that dream is still alive today if people are wise enough to take advantage of it.
Anyway, God bless you, my friend.
Happy.
Have a great, great birthday.
And thank you again for your service.
