All right, Leonard Skinner, simple man, and that can only mean one thing on this radio program.
All things self-proclaimed simple man.
That means all things Bill O'Reilly.
All things O'Reilly at billo'reilly.com.
Mr. O'Reilly, sir, I actually felt bad for you in the last week.
I read that there were places, libraries in Florida that chose your book to remove and look at and possibly put on a ban list like you're out of your killing series.
Killing Jesus was one of them and a couple of others.
And I saw that you were rightly angry and indignant about it.
What's the latest?
The latest is that this Escambia County, I believe it is, that's in Pensacola, the school board is run by loons, and they took advantage of a good law.
I supported the law that says in Florida, you cannot have in the school library inappropriate sexual material for children.
That is a good law.
Well, what these loons have done is they not only took killing Jesus and killing Reagan off the bookshelves in the library, but John Grisham, Stephen King, and Frank, and they're reviewing them for what?
How do you have to review Anne Frank?
I mean, I read that and I'm like, you got to be kidding me.
Here's where the story gets out of a personal beef into something important.
So my staff contacted Ron DeSantis, the governor of Florida who signed the law and wanted a comment.
Not only would he not give one, but his media people were so rude that I had to be restrained from getting on the phone with them.
My staff said, don't do it.
Don't do it.
And I didn't.
But everybody should know that Governor DeSantis could not care less about this situation.
And believe me, I've been not favorable to DeSantis because I don't really do that.
You know me.
I scrutinize them all.
But fair.
But he's out now.
Done.
Well, I read those comments.
Let's keep the politics out of it for a second.
Let's focus on the issue here.
Okay.
I don't know who you spoke to in Governor DeSantis' office.
I know people there.
I guarantee you.
The deputy press secretary, I believe it was.
All right.
I know people that I can guarantee you will give you a call back.
Now, nobody, it doesn't matter if you're Bill O'Reilly or anybody, should be treated rudely by any elected official's office.
But I do believe, and this is my opinion, knowing the governor as well as I do, and I've known him for a long time, that this would be an issue that he would care about.
I'm not sure.
He's obviously been very busy out campaigning.
I would bet everything I have.
He has no idea that you're trying to reach him.
But as a favor to you, I will very gladly reach out to the contacts I have and connect you because I just, I find it hard to believe that this was brought to the governor's attention.
Let me enlighten you a little bit.
Okay.
So we called up.
They got back to us and basically gave us the middle finger.
That's what happened.
Now, maybe DeSantis doesn't know that because, as you rightly pointed out, he is in the middle of a campaign.
However, you do know what his week was like the week before.
You know that he had the debate with Haley.
You know, he had the town hall at Fox.
You know that, you know, he's been, you know, he went to all 99 counties in Iowa, so he's been busy.
All right.
But this isn't something that was under the radar.
The Tallahassee Democrat, the newspaper in the capital of Florida, ran a big story on it.
It hit the internet huge.
They knew when we called what we were calling it back.
They knew.
So look, excuses fine.
I have my opinion on DeSantis now.
It is lowered.
I don't think he's got a chance in the election at all.
Not one out of a thousand.
So why he's continuing to go through it, I don't know.
But the bigger arch is good laws.
And we'll get back to that.
This is a good law in Florida because what some of these school districts are doing down there in the liberal precincts was horrible.
I could tell you that you're right.
I agree with you on your analysis of the law.
I'm just knowing the schedule, and you've been there.
You know what it's like.
These campaigns, these candidates, it's like they have a fire hose going down their throat.
They're gulping water.
We work in a business where we often gulp water, and you got to prioritize what you're doing.
Now, with all that said, it shouldn't have happened.
I would imagine after any fair, objective analysis, that your book will be returned, rightly so, to the library.
The same with Ann Frank.
I would assume the same with Grisham and Stephen King.
I would assume all of that.
And on your behalf, with your permission, I'd like to reach out to people that I know that I know will get the message to the governor because I would bet pretty much everything I have.
This did not hit his desk.
This did not make he was not informed of all of this, what you're describing.
That's my guess.
And I'm not being a special pleader for the governor.
I just know him, and it's not his style.
That is not how he rolls.
And so now, look, we've all had people that work for us over the years.
Some, you know, on a scale of one to 10, you know, I have many people that are a 10, but I have some people that are like a six or a seven that have worked for me.
And some, you're not going to have a perfect staff, especially in government.
Let me see if I can help you.
And I think it's I'd be glad to do it with your permission.
And I think I can get a resolve for you.
All right, let's go through your analysis.
You know, we're heading now.
I mean, this thing goes fast and furious.
The largest margin a Republican ever won in an Iowa caucus was Bob Dolan, 88 with 12.8%.
Donald Trump wins by a whopping 30 points.
51% of Iowa voters.
A state, by the way, Rick Santorum won.
Ted Cruz won.
Mike Huckabee won.
And I just thought it was a political earthquake for Iowa and a lot of the polling data out of Iowa on very key issues, including the criminal issues.
Most people believe by a wide margin that it's purely political.
I thought that was a very interesting statistic.
But now we head into New Hampshire, and there are a couple of things that I'm looking at in New Hampshire.
Donald Trump is leading in the polls.
New Suffolk University Boston Globe poll has Trump at 50, Haley at 34, DeSantis.
I don't think he's really going to be competing in New Hampshire.
I think he's probably going to focus more in South Carolina.
But one of the things that bothers me is the way they run their system in New Hampshire.
In other words, there's an opportunity for candidates to persuade New Hampshire Democrats and Independents to switch their party registration so they can vote in the Republican primary.
And that seems to be paying off and helping Nikki Haley in this case.
These are people that don't want Donald Trump to be president.
A national public radio poll.
4,000 Democratic voters have already switched their affiliation to Republican or undeclared ahead of the primary so they can help Haley because they want to torpedo Trump's momentum.
Democrats would like to see this drag on as long as possible.
That part of New Hampshire really, really bothers me.
And if, in fact, that's widespread, then I would think that that would increase the possibility that Nikki Haley has a real shot of winning there.
But I don't like the way that goes.
Does that make sense?
Yeah, I mean, let's advance the story.
So Trump is not going to be defeated by Nikki Haley or Ron DeSantis.
It's not going to happen.
And if you look at the primary, the upcoming primaries now, next Tuesday is a New Hampshire vote.
And from what I understand, you could just show up to the poll next Tuesday as a registered Democrat, tell the poll people you'd like to switch to registered independent, and they'll.
And you can vote in the Republican primary and wreak havoc.
Which, by the way, David Pluff, Obama's guy, suggested people do.
Well, he did more than that.
There have been tens of millions of dollars pumped into New Hampshire to canvass registered Democrats to do just that.
And the goal is to have Haley win or come close so that the press can then run wild with Trump is on the decline, Trump is weak, whatever it may be.
Because remember, the next vote is February 24th.
That's a long time.
Well, you've got Nevada, then you've got South Carolina.
You've got their caucuses, and Trump will win them all.
Trump's going to win the Nevada caucus.
He's going to win Virgin Islands caucus.
He's going to win Michigan caucus.
There's no Idaho, Missouri.
He's just going to run the table on them.
And in South Carolina, if his lead holds there, he should win handily, and that's Nikki Haley's home state.
What does that do to Nikki Haley?
This is a bigger picture.
The bigger picture is destroy Trump.
All right.
So they have now from January 23rd, next Tuesday, until February 24th, one month, the press can run wild with Trump's in decline.
Now, that is what's going to happen.
There's no doubt about it.
Nikki Haley knows she's not going to beat Trump.
DeSantis, I don't even know why he's hanging on.
I don't know.
He's got no way in the world.
He's polling single.
Listen, in any other political year, you know, the 21 or 2% that he got in Iowa would be a very, very respectable showing, Bill.
I mean, this is a very unique situation.
As I have often said, is Donald Trump defies all conventional political gravity.
Of course.
I mean, there's never been a guy that we've watched like him.
You never would have thought five, ten years ago that a presidential candidate gets arrested, you know, not once, not twice, not three, but four times and arraigned and has all these legal issues.
And every time his poll numbers go up, that defies conventional political gravity.
And there is the key to this whole thing, Hannity.
I don't know whether you are a genius or you just stumbled into it.
But that is.
I'd prefer to go with the fact that I'm a genius, but if you don't want to go there, I understand.
It might hurt your ego.
Because you mentioned that without any prompting at all, I'll put you in that category, at least for today.
Well, you're so gracious, Bill.
Go ahead.
The calculation was made by the far left to destroy Donald Trump in the legal system, within the legal system.
And you can see every single case is driven by the far left, whether it's Georgia, whether it's New York, whether it's special counsel, whether it's documents in Mar-a-Lago, every single case.
That is no accident.
All right, people campaigned on that.
We're going to get them.
Now, that was the calculation.
There'll be enough to take him off the board.
What has happened is exactly the opposite.
So that Republicans, I don't know one Republican who's defected from Trump because of these things.
Everybody knows the fixes in.
But the Independents, they could have gone either way.
But what they have seen is so much corruption involved in these cases.
And that's why Trump's in the civil court.
That's why he shows up to these hearings in New York when he doesn't have to.
He wants to bring attention to how corrupt this whole thing is.
So this has helped him, solidified him.
It's not about policy anymore.
It's about emotion.
And when you look at that Fannie Willis case in Georgia, how corrupt that thing is what Governor Kemp is doing, I mean, I know you.
No, he just flew off to Davos.
All right, quick break more with Simpleman Bill O'Reilly.
AllthingsO'Reilly, BillO'Reilly.com.
Then your call's coming up toll-free.
It's 800-941-Sean if you want to be a part of the program.
All right, we continue now.
Simpleman Bill O'Reilly is with us, allthings BillO'Reilly at BillO'Reilly.com.
So their playbook is going to be Democracy in Peril, Trump is Evil, Trump is Evil, January 6th, and they'll demagogue abortion.
And then it's the old playbook, Republicans are racist, sexist.
My last exit question, quick answer.
Will that strategy work?
Because they can't run on Joe's record.
You can't predict it.
Too many things are going to happen between now and the conventions.
As I said to you before, I don't believe that Biden's going to be on the ticket.
I think he's going to do what LBJ did and say, I'll serve out my term, but I can't run again because of health reasons.
Now, I obviously could be wrong on that.
So I can't make a prediction.
But I appreciate you going to the DeSantis camp.
And one more thing on that.
Tell them the kids in Florida need all the Jesus they can get.
All right.
I think the world needs more Jesus as much as they can get to, Bill.
All right.
All things SimpleMan BillO'Reilly, BillOReilly.com.
Always a pleasure, Bill.
Have a great week.
You know, last year, because of your generosity and your commitment to the sanctity of life and your belief in that life begins at conception, well, because of pre-born clinics, they use the science now of 4D ultrasound that they give free to any expecting mom.
They also offer counseling services after babies are born.
If new moms need help with baby formula diapers, they help there as well.
Last year, 58,000 babies have been saved.
That's why I'm committed to changing hearts, and they're using the science of 4D ultrasound to do it.
I'll give you an example.
Charlotte found out she was seven weeks pregnant.
In the back of her mind, she thought abortion was probably her best solution.
Then she went to a pre-born clinic, got her free 4D ultrasound, heard the baby's heartbeat, saw the developing baby right inside of her womb.
On ultrasound, she chose life.
And her heart is full of gratitude for all the people that helped her make this very important decision.
Anyway, they don't get a penny from the federal government.
They don't get tens of millions of dollars like Planned Parenthood.
But I will tell you this, by offering these free 4D ultrasounds, that doubles the chances that a baby's going to be born.
It is that powerful.
Anyway, dial pound 250 on your cell phone.
Say the keyword baby, pound250, keyword baby, or check out their website, preborn.com slash Sean.
That's S-E-A-N, preborn.com slash Sean. Sean Hannity.
Always concerned for our country.
Always honoring our servicemen and service women and standing up for liberty every day.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
Thank you for being with us.
800-941, Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
I guess, is this from the view?
Is this the interview where I think it was on The View?
Anyway, telling Joyless Behar, that hard-hitting news show, The View on ABC.
Kamala Harris is scared as heck.
She's so scared.
But she, you know, actually says we should all be scared about Trump being reelected.
No, I'm more scared about her and Joe being re-elected.
And then she goes on to say Republicans, they don't want to fix the broken immigration system.
They broke it.
What is she talking about?
Listen.
And what are you going to do to stop the crazies?
I am scared as heck.
Which is why I'm traveling our country.
You know, there's an old saying that there are only two ways to run for office, either without an opponent or scared.
So on all of those points, yes, we should all be scared.
First of all, everyone knows our immigration system is broken.
Right.
Okay.
The first bill that we dropped, the first bill that we offered right after inauguration was to fix the immigration system.
A comprehensive plan to deal with the immigration system.
Do you think they've taken it up?
No.
We want solutions.
The solutions are at hand.
But frankly, we're in an election year, and the folks who want to return Donald Trump to the White House would prefer to talk about a broken immigration system instead of focusing on the solutions that are at hand and engaging in bipartisan work.
Let's remember the days of George Bush, John McCain, even Lindsey Graham, who agreed that let's fix this.
Let's work together on the solutions to fix this.
But don't worry, Joe Biden, just like he lied about the borders being secure and the borders being closed repeatedly, like Alejandro Mayorkas and Vice President Harris and Jensaki and Carine Jean-Pierre, now lying about never having spoken to any of Hunter's business partners, not one time, never spoke to Hunter, his brother, or anybody for that matter.
Yeah, well, now he's lying still saying the economy is doing pretty damn well.
Well, what about the 60% of our fellow Americans that are living paycheck to paycheck?
I don't think it's going particularly well for them.
Listen.
He wouldn't be talking about this if he didn't acknowledge that the economy is doing pretty damn well, and particularly for people who, in fact, need the most help.
And Al, look, you and I talked about this before.
Everybody thinks because I'm president and I've been around a long time, they don't know.
Well, you're going to call, Al.
For 36 years, I was listening to the poorest man in the United States Congress.
All right, let's hit the phones.
800-941-Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Jim in Wyoming, next on the Sean Hannity Show.
Sir, glad you called.
Happy New Year.
I appreciate you checking in.
How are you doing today, Sean?
I'm good, sir.
What's on your mind?
Well, it kind of gets me that Hunter Biden, his dad said, you know, anybody making over $400,000 would have to pay their fair share.
Well, here's Hunter making several millions, and he can't seem to pay his damn tax bill.
Well, there is a little bit of hypocrisy there for sure.
This is what frustrates me about this entire investigation.
Now we know that they found cocaine residue on Hunter Biden's gun pouch, and they've known about this since 2018.
That means David Weiss, who allowed the statute of limitations to pass on the big tax years, the burisma years, which never should have happened, and they never did anything about it.
And by the way, I still would like to go back and have a deeper investigation into the cocaine found in the White House.
They said, well, after 10 exhaustive days of investigating, they'd never be able to figure out whose cocaine it was.
Really?
I find that a little hard to believe.
I have a little bit more faith in the security at the White House that they would be able to get to the bottom of it.
But as far as I'm concerned, it's a cover-up.
We were told there was an ethics deal over the sale of Hunter's art, what we affectionately call portraits of a crack addict, and the art dealer telling Congress, no, Hunter demanded to know who was buying his paintings.
What happened to the ethics deal that Circleback Gensaki in the administration told us about?
And why was Joe Biden calling the art dealer personally?
I mean, so much of this is just full of lies.
But you're right.
There's hypocrisy.
I have a saying.
I've used it often, Jim, and it's liberals are generous with other people's money.
You ever notice that?
Like, for example, look at San Francisco where Nancy Pelosi lives.
Nancy Pelosi is filthy rich.
She lives in a gated community.
Now, between her home and her office, it's about a mile apart.
In between her gated community home and her nice office, there is an area where people are shooting up, defecating in the streets, urinating in the streets.
And I just wonder, why didn't Nancy Pelosi at any time being the compassionate liberal she is?
Why didn't she ever maybe knock on the door of her neighbors and say, we're donating a million dollars.
We're going to build a facility to help out all these homeless people.
We're going to offer them, you know, an opportunity to take a shower, go to the bathroom, maybe drug counseling if they need it, maybe job assistance if they need it.
Why didn't they do that on their own?
Why didn't they take the initiative to fix what is their backyard?
Now, they'll do it with other people's money, but they don't seem to want to ever do it with their own money.
Interesting, isn't it?
Most definitely.
I mean, you know, it's just like Hunter.
I'm sorry to say, but the young man needs to maybe spend a little time in jail.
Maybe giving him some time to think.
Well, remember, David Weiss wasn't going to charge him with anything.
And then the whistleblowers came forward.
Then he came up with the sweetheart deal.
Thank goodness for an honest judge in Delaware that put an end to that ridiculous deal.
And now he's being forced to be charged.
And frankly, you know, now he's going to get another opportunity to comply with a subpoena, which I don't think would happen to me if I didn't happen to Steve Bannon, didn't happen to Peter Navarro.
They weren't given a second chance to go before Congress after they had been subpoenaed.
And they're now facing jail time.
Anyway, my friend, you raise a good point.
Oh, by the way, reminder, look, it is so expensive to repair your car.
I mean, first of all, the parts of car parts have gone through the roof.
It's absolutely insane.
And also, if you want a good mechanic, they're worth their weight in gold, and the cost per hour has really gone through the roof.
And by the way, it's a great profession.
I really respect people that can fix cars these days.
I used to fix my own car.
I can't do it anymore.
But I fixed everything back in the day, and I loved it.
Anyway, if you want to be safe and secure on the road with your family, you want car shield protection.
And here's the best part about it.
They offer protection plans for your car.
It's about $100 a month.
It covers more parts than ever before.
Everything from alternators to big ticket items like your transmission.
It doesn't matter if your car has 5,000 or 150,000 miles on it.
CarShield does have a protection plan for you.
And this year, please choose CarShield.
They'll keep you safe on the road.
They offer roadside assistance.
And God forbid, if your car breaks down, you're not going to be hit with a $2,000, $3,000, $4,000 repair bill that is going to set you back even further.
I have Car Shield 60-800-587-5060.
And if you mention my name, you save 20%.
All right, back to our busy phones as we say hi to Gary is in South Carolina.
Gary, hi, how are you?
Glad you called, sir.
Thank you, Sean.
Good afternoon.
It's a pleasure to finally speak to one of the greatest Americans.
Well, I don't put myself in that category, but I'm trying to be the best person I can be.
That's for sure.
Hey, something that's just really stuck in my craw.
I just want to run something by you and get your opinion.
So we have this every four years election process.
So we go through the primaries.
We have a convention.
They nominate a candidate.
They build a platform that everybody supposedly rallies around the candidate, go out and run a campaign, so forth and so on.
And now you have people that are supporting Nikki Haley and some of the other Republican candidates are already saying that if Trump is the nominee, they're going to vote for the Democrat, probably Joe Biden.
My question is, how can you trade off 30 seconds of pleasure to pull a lever for a Democrat for four more years of the kind of shenanigans that we're putting up with now, inflation, open borders, sentinel deaths, world stage that's just blown up beyond recognition?
How can you trade off 30 seconds of pulling that lever for him and then spending four more years with this?
Do you have any thoughts or thinking about why people would justify that decision?
Not really.
I mean, what are your thoughts on it?
Why do you think it is?
Well, it's revenge, for one thing.
But bottom line is, my view is that I've always looked at politics as the candidate, what they stand for.
And, you know, there have been times where I've had people, like, there's a lot of things about Donald Trump that I'm not happy about as a person, but I'm certainly supporting what he stands for.
And so I vote the platform.
I don't vote the person.
And I don't understand how people can be so short-sighted that the person sways their vote more than what they're going to get over four years.
All right, let's get back to our busy phones.
800-941 Sean is our number.
If you want to join us, let's go to the free state of Florida where I am.
Marie, you're next on the Sean Hannity Show.
Glad you call Marie.
Hi.
I was just wanting to share my story about a time when I had to make a decision whether to have an abortion or not.
I was 24 years old.
Abortion hadn't been legal very long.
It was 1978.
And I was living life a little on the wild side.
And I found out that I was pregnant.
Two of my closest friends had had abortions.
And I've heard that women that have had abortions say they wonder when it gets near the time their baby would have been born when their baby's birthday is.
They wonder if it was a boy or girl or if it was what color hair and eyes it had.
And so I wonder why they're wondering because it is a baby.
They say it's not a baby, but it is a baby.
That's why they wonder.
And I don't have to wonder because I chose not to have an abortion.
In fact, my son's going to be 45 tomorrow, and he's 6'2 ⁇ , black hair, blue eyes.
And he has given me three beautiful granddaughters and a grandson that he took in and adopted when he was two days old and another granddaughter, his half sister.
And, you know, I didn't wouldn't have just stopped my son's life, but I would have stopped the life of my three granddaughters and all those to come.
And my other two grandchildren, they would have still been born, but would they have had a Grammy and Papa that loved them like we did, like we do.
And so I was, sorry, I'm very nervous.
You know what, what you're saying is really powerful.
You are a very effective communicator.
And actually, what a beautiful sentiment.
I have interviewed people over the years, Marie, that had abortions and they regret it every day of their life and they never get over it.
And on the other hand, I've interviewed people like yourself that are so grateful that they made the right call at the right time, never knowing that you'd have a 45-year-old son, dark hair, blue eyes, and three beautiful grandchildren.
So your story is inspiring to people.
And I understand it's a tough choice.
But there are other options available too.
I mean, imagine if you decided to give birth, but you weren't in a position, maybe because of your age, maybe because of your income, you weren't in a position to raise the child in the way that you thought the child deserved.
And you gave that child up for abortion.
I'm sorry, up for adoption.
And you said no to abortion.
And you know what?
You gave that child an opportunity.
And hopefully the child is placed with loving parents that just love on them and help them grow and fulfill whatever talent God gave them in their lives and become productive.
Those people have far less regret, I have found.
They wonder, you know, what would it have been like if I was able to keep the child?
And sometimes they find each other later in life, which is always interesting to me.
But I just, I think we have unfortunately broken it down into, you know, this conception that there's nothing going on here.
The reason preborn.com slash Sean is so powerful is when expecting moms are introduced to the life within them.
They're choosing life because it's profound.
It's impactful.
And science works.
Anyway, Marie, beautiful call.
God bless you and your family, your grandkids and your son.
Please send my best 800-941.
Sean is our number if you want to be a part of the program.
