After President Trump has received yet another indictment, it's critically important that we STOP politicizing the US Justice Department. We have to have high standards when we vet our candidates but we should have equally high standards when we bring candidate's names through the mud... a standard that the DOJ is clearly not meeting. See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
If you want to be a part of the program, we got a lot of ground to cover today.
I mean, a real lot of ground to cover.
No surprise, as we had been anticipating, waiting for all day, the Jack Smith announcement.
That's not the problem for Jack Smith.
The problem is he didn't really put forward a strong case.
Now, he does have one big advantage, and that big advantage is that the venue is in Washington, D.C., not exactly, kind of like New York and Fulton County, Georgia, not exactly conservative-friendly or Republican-friendly territory.
But that's pretty interesting.
Anyway, so the, you know, we also have, you know, corruption, bribery, allegation scandals swirling around the president of the United States.
Now, I put together somebody, I don't know who to attribute this to because I got it from somebody on my team that apparently wrote it down from some Twitter person, printed it, whoever that person is, great research.
Then we went back and we researched it ourselves.
And it is interesting that the timing of a lot of what we learn about the Bidens and when it happens, you know, maybe you think this is just a coincidence, but if you go back to June 7th, that's when the FBI finally gave that 1023 form that was devastating.
That's the one that made the allegation that Joe Biden as vice president took specific actions that helped in the end enrich his own family.
We now know that to be the 1023 form with a very credible FBI informant interviewing the CEO of Burisma Holdings.
And in that interview, quoting the CEO of Burisma, saying that he thought that Hunter Biden was stupid and that his dog was smarter than Hunter Biden, how he didn't want to pay any money to the Bidens, but he had no choice.
He had to.
This was the one that said that, you know, $5 million to one Biden, $5 million to another Biden.
And by the way, it'll take people 10 years to figure out how that money was handed down.
Anyway, so that happened on June 7th of this year, the very next day.
Oh, what a surprise.
The DOJ and the special counsel indicts Donald Trump in the Mar-a-Lago documents case.
All right, let's get that big story out of the headlines and let's move back to where we always want to be.
And that's 24-7-365, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump, Trump.
Then we have, I know it's probably just a mere coincidence.
It was the next day, right?
And then on July 26th, Hunter Biden's unprecedented sweetheart deal, which we've gone into in great length and great specificity about how the Biden Department of Justice basically gave Hunter a get out of jail free card on any future indictments, and they tried to sneak it in the back door of that deal.
And thankfully, the judge in Delaware was able to say, excuse me one moment, let me dig a little deeper into this.
And when they did, well, what do we learn?
We learned that that never happens, but that's what they tried to do.
The next day, July 27th, the special counsel adds even more charges for Donald Trump in the Mar-a-Lago case, superseding indictments in that case.
Three more.
I'm sure a coincidence, right?
Then we have July 31st.
That was two days ago.
Hunter Biden's former business partner testifies before Congress.
Joe Biden was on over 20-plus phone calls and in-person meetings with his son's foreign business partners, which, of course, contradicted Joe Biden's big lie as both a candidate and a president that he never, you know, remember he said over and over again, I never one time ever spoke to my son.
This is a direct quote, or my brother or anybody for that matter about their foreign business dealings.
We actually have been playing a short version of Joe Biden, the candidate, saying it.
Now we have a longer version.
I'll play it later in the program of Joe Biden as a candidate and as a president.
He was asked many times, do you still stand by your position that you never once spoke to Hunter about his foreign business dealings?
And we know that was nothing but a big lie.
And because that was unraveling in the last two weeks, that evolved into, we stand by our position that Joe Biden was never in business with Hunter Biden.
No, that's not what Joe was saying as a candidate and not what Joe was saying up until two weeks ago.
He kept saying when asked that he never spoke to his son or a brother or anybody for that matter about these foreign business deals.
And so that got blown out of the water.
But anyway, so you have the sweetheart deal on July 26th, the next day.
Then we have the more charges in the Mar-a-Lago case, the superseding indictments.
And two days ago, Hunter Biden's former business partner, Devin Archer, testifies before Congress that Joe Biden was on over 20 calls and in-person meetings with his son's foreign business partners, contradicting Joe's big lie as both the candidate and president that he never once ever talked to his son, brother, or anyone for that matter.
Now, this included barisma executives.
Now, what do we learn from Devin Archer?
We learned that Joe Biden often called in.
So this, you know, on top of everything, you got to pause here.
If Donald Trump told such a spectacular lie repeatedly to the media mob in the country, just on that lie being exposed, that would be a big deal.
But because it's not Donald Trump, your abusively corrupt and biased news media mob has no interest in reporting this story the way they should.
And so they're letting Joe get away with the big lie.
Oh, Donald Trump, the big lie.
Well, you know, and that's part of the indictment yesterday.
And we'll get into that in a second.
That they actually think that Donald Trump, he knew, he knew that what he was saying isn't true.
I would bet any amount of money, if there was a bet and a lie detector test, having interviewed Donald Trump as much as I have, I can tell you right now, he'd take a lie detector test and you ask him if he believes that the election was rigged, stolen, any words that he's used, he's going to pass that test with flying colors because for him, it was real.
Well, there were people that were telling him that it wasn't true.
Yeah, and there was a bunch of other people telling him it was.
And some people I wish he didn't listen to because I thought some of them went, you know, way out of bounds, but that was my humble opinion.
Anyway, but that's neither here nor there.
You know, then we've got the big bombshell from Devin Archer this week is that they were pressuring Joe Biden.
They needed desperately to get in touch with Joe Biden, desperately.
And D.C. is the way they called it.
We need help from D.C. What was the help when they were in, where were they?
In Dubai in December of 2015, December 4th, to give you the exact date.
And anyway, Hunter Biden, Devin Archer, the head of Burisma, and another top executive, they have a meeting and they meet later for drinks.
And during that time, they called Joe Biden because they needed to, what was the ask?
What was the need to get in touch with D.C. for?
Because they needed to get rid of the prosecutor that was investigating Burisma, that even Devin Archer acknowledged would have bankrupted the company and destroyed their business.
That also means that they wouldn't have had the money to continue to pay the Biden family syndicate.
And that set in motion, that Joe Biden call-in basically was Hunter's reassurance to them that he's on it.
And sure enough, he goes a few days later to Ukraine and the process begins, culminating in Joe saying, you're not getting a billion dollars until you fire the prosecutor.
That prosecutor was investigating Burisma Holdings and Joe Biden's son Hunter.
So the allegation in the 1023 form that the FBI never wanted to hand over is that, in fact, Joe Biden took, according to the CEO of Burisma, actually at the time, and the owner of Burisma,
Lauren Larzensky, whatever his name is, that they, in fact, wanted Joe Biden's involvement, that they had to pay the Biden family, and that they were putting pressure for Joe to get in touch with D.C.
We need Joe's help, needs Joe's help.
And son of a B, Joe leverages a billion dollars, gives him six hours to fire a prosecutor.
The prosecutor's fired.
Hunter Biden continues to enrich himself.
Now, now you know why it's a Joe Biden bribery scandal allegation that is coming to life every day, and it's only going to get worse for them.
So as, you know, all of the discussion and, you know, all right, what are we talking about with Donald Trump?
We're talking about a document issue.
Well, Hillary Clinton has a document issue, didn't she?
She had top secret classified information more than Donald Trump had at Mar-a-Lago.
And no reasonable prosecutor would prosecute that.
Well, they're talking about Donald Trump maybe asking for surveillance tapes deleted.
He's claiming nothing was deleted and everything was handed over to the special counsel.
Time will tell.
One of them is telling the truth and one isn't because I don't think there's any middle ground there.
Anyway, so but Hillary Clinton deleted 33,000 subpoenaed emails and washed her servers and her hard drives with bleach pit, not with like a cloth, like a cloth.
No, with bleach pit.
We had never heard of it.
Destroyed devices.
Okay, Joe Biden has a top secret classified information issue himself.
Chappaqua never got raided.
The Clinton offices never got raid.
The four locations where they found top secret classified information for Joe Biden, they never got raid.
We never hear about the special counsel looking into Joe Biden's top secret classified document issues.
Never hear a peep out of that guy.
So now we've got is, you know, and by the way, I'm being told by my pollster friends, they'll join us later in the program, snap poll Donald Trump's approval ratings in light of what is happening this week.
They're going up again.
Every time they do this, what a phenomenon this is.
It's not something, it kind of defies gravity in the sense political gravity.
But you have Joe Biden's Department of Justice, part of the executive branch, run by Merrick Garland.
Merrick Garland signed off on this entire charade.
In other words, you know, it's now America has gone full banana republic.
And Garland and the other Democrats of the DDOJ, they want to put Joe Biden's chief political opponent in the lead up to an election in a jail cell and let him rot there for the rest of his life while they continue, as we learn from IRS whistleblowers and we learn from others, while they're protecting the big guy from all the legitimate and real legal scrutiny over a bribery charge.
Now, what do you think?
You know, all three, Biden, Clinton, and Trump have document issues with top secret classified information.
Really?
They want to go after Stormy Daniels.
Really?
They want to take one line out of what was a long phone call in Fulton County, Georgia, and turn that into what?
A racketeering and a RICO case.
They want to say that Donald Trump, you know, because he spoke his mind and had a viewpoint that maybe some people didn't like, that Donald Trump should be arrested for the events on January 6th, but actually ignore his real words.
Many of you will peacefully, patriotically now march to the Capitol so your voices will be heard.
And never getting to the real heart of how January 6th was unfolding, which was, in fact, oh, this is great.
I really like this.
I wasn't there.
I don't know why.
Anyway, which is that they had actionable intelligence in the weeks and days leading up to January 6th, and no action was taken by Nancy Pelosi, Muriel Bowser, Chuck Schumer, or anybody.
Anyway, 800-941, Sean, if you want to be a part of the program.
Hey there, I'm Mary Catherine Hamm.
And I'm Carol Markowitz.
We've been in political media for a long time.
Long enough to know that it's gotten, well, a little insane.
That's why we started Normally, a podcast for people who are over the hysteria and just want clarity.
We talk about the issues that actually matter to the country without panic, without yelling, and with a healthy dose of humor.
We don't take ourselves too seriously, but we do take the truth seriously.
So if you're into common sense, sanity, and some occasional sass.
You're our kind of people.

All right, as we continue 800-941, Sean, if you want to be a part of the program, we're now witnessing a moment that I can't think of in our country's history where you have credible corruption and bribery scandals being leveled at the president of the United States, and the lack of curiosity with the media is unbelievable.
Now, the most amazing part of all of this, it is happening simultaneously.
When if Donald Trump was accused of jaywalking, they want to indict him for jaywalking a parking ticket or spitting on the sidewalk.
And that is what we mean when we talk about a dual system of justice.
You know, I looked at length at this indictment, 45 pages printed yesterday.
I was frankly shocked.
You know, again, this is Biden's weaponized DOJ.
This is Biden's executive branch and indicting his chief political rival.
And I'm reading this.
It seemed like it reads like it was written by a first-year law student to me, incredibly weak, a baseless, convoluted indictment, even centered around what is clearly protected speech.
It just simply is.
You know, I love Jonathan Turley's line on all of this.
I thought he was, you know, spot on.
This is a free speech-killing indictment.
And, you know, and he pointed out as a Democrat that the Democrats now are reaching the line with the American public.
There comes a point of no return here where, you know, they just keep piling on, piling up, piling up, starting with three years.
Russia hoax, Russia, Russia, Russia, all debunked.
The entire lie exposed.
And the media mob went along and lied and peddled these conspiracy theories the whole time, as well as Democrats.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
You know, I'm blown away whenever, you know, people are in trouble with the IRS.
They try to deal with this by themselves.
Would you fix your own plumbing?
Would you do electrical work?
Would you try to fix your car today?
Most of us wouldn't because it's just too hard.
We don't have the expertise to do it.
But then you owe a ton of money to the IRS.
Well, I can handle this.
No, you can't.
That's actually crazy thinking.
Anyway, you don't want to mess around with the IRS.
You want to be in good stead.

So if Jonathan Turley's analysis of all this is correct, and I believe it is, and the idea that the special counsel is going to have to prove that Donald Trump didn't believe what he was saying, then that is that the election, whatever phrase he used.
Let's just take a trip down memory lane.
Now, I got, or Linda got sent, somebody got sent this.
It was on Marco Rubio's truth social line, a post, and it's a montage, and it's a video.
These are all Democrats, and they're all talking about Donald Trump being an illegitimate president and worse.
Goes on for over two minutes.
Why am I going to take two minutes of precious air time to play it for you?
Because it goes to the heart of what is being alleged about Donald Trump and January 6th.
But of course, we have equal justice under the law.
Maybe we should dedicate it to the special counsel.
Maybe we should send a copy over.
Listen.
Hacking the U.S. election.
Hacking the U.S. election.
Russia hacked our elections.
The Russians hacked our election.
Russia hacked our election.
Russia hacked our election.
Russian hacking of our election.
Hacking of our election.
Russia hacked our elections.
Russia hacked our elections.
Stole an election.
Russia hacked our elections.
Russia hacked our election.
Universal assessment that Russia hacked our election in 2016.
Foreign governments hacked our elections.
Most young Americans consider Donald Trump an illegitimate president.
An illegitimate president.
He's an illegitimate president.
Why is he illegitimate?
He just won an election.
He's an illegitimate president, in my mind.
That's it.
I absolutely agree.
Experts urge Clinton Kent to challenge election results.
We will see how illegitimate his victory actually was.
He's an illegitimate president.
Russia hacked our elections.
Russians hacking our election.
Hacked our election.
Russia hacking our election.
I don't see the president as a legitimate president.
Trump is an illegitimate president who stole the election.
He is not a president.
He's illegitimate.
And my biggest fear is that he's going to do it again with the help of Vlad, his best past.
Terrifying.
Could you be my vice president?
Hillary Clinton voters call to overturn election results.
More than 4 million people have already signed a petition on change.org calling for the electors of the Electoral College to, quote, ignore their states, votes, and cast their ballots for Secretary Clinton.
Trump didn't actually win the election in 2016.
We are the victims of a bloodless coup.
He didn't won the general election.
Yo, Electoral College, make Hillary Clinton president.
Period.
Donald Trump is an illegitimate president.
He's an illegitimate president.
Sams don't accept Trump as a legitimate president.
This wasn't on the level.
This election was not on the level.
I don't think he's a legitimate president.
Election wasn't legit.
He got his victory from cheating.
Yes, Trump cheated.
Trump cheated the 2016 election.
He's an illegitimate president.
No validity.
No credibility.
And because of that...
Anger at what some see as an illegitimate president.
Donald Trump has got to be a good person.
It will not be a peaceful change of power.
A number of incidents turn violent.
Protesters hurl trash cans, flash bombs, and objects at police.
Several officers injured.
Votesters knew rocks and smashed windows, leading to more confrontations, injuries, and arrests.
The chaotic scene just blocks outside the security area of the inauguration.
Pretty powerful, isn't it?
By the way, we have more news on all of this.
The prosecutors admit they failed to follow the law in the Trump document case that came out.
Justthenews.com broke the story.
That's John Solomon's website.
He's the editor-in-chief.
Jack Smith's team admitted to incorrectly claiming to have turned over evidence as required by law.
That's the Brady law in the classified documents case against President Trump.
But while preparing last week's subsequent indictment, superseding indictment into the Mar-a-Lago property manager case, et cetera, et cetera.
Anyway, prosecutors learned that footage included as evidence had not been processed and uploaded to the platform and the government's presentation.
Well, I wonder if, God forbid, Trump's lawyers ever did that.
What would happen?
How the media would react.
Andy McCarthy, I mean, he and Jonathan Turley were just on fire yesterday about how bad this indictment is.
And he actually said that that was one of the most demagogic presentations talking about the special counsel's presentation I've seen in any high-profile case.
Any normal person that listened to the explanation of the indictment would assume that Trump was alleged to have carried out the Capitol riot.
The entire presentation he made was not about what the court charges in his case are.
It was about the Capitol riot and security personnel who were not in the Capitol riot.
You know, this is as weak as it was foretold to be.
The prosecutor will have a very hard time, you know, this case, even getting it to trial.
I mean, there's a belief among many lawyers I talked to that this could be thrown out in the appellate court before it ever meets the light of day.
Alan Dershowitz saying that the charges don't meet the requirements for indicting a former president.
I think that none of these charges meet the standard that has to be met before the man running for president against the incumbent president is indicted.
In banana republics, we see the incumbent president going after his opponents by criminal charges.
In the U.S. until now, we never saw anybody running for president indicted.
And the standard that everybody assumed had to be met would be an overwhelming clear case.
And none of the indictments thus far are there and going to be there for them.
I predicted that there would be these four indictments.
None of them seems to satisfy what I call the Nixon standard.
And that is the crimes are so obvious that it would get bipartisan support.
Nope.
Here, it just divides people.
When you're running for president, the standard has to be extremely high.
Otherwise, both sides can weaponize the criminal justice system against their political opponents, which is the heart of what Jim Jordan's Judiciary Committee is looking into.
A weaponized, politicized DOJ and the top echelon in the FBI, not the rank and file.
Anyway, the Obama-appointed judge overseeing this case once worked for the same law firm as Hunter Biden.
Is anybody going to call that a conflict of any kind?
I'd say that might be a conflict.
If they had worked for Trump, you'd know that they would consider it a conflict.
Fox Business reporting the Biden administration trying to blame Trump for America's credit rating being downgraded.
I don't know if you paid much attention to this, but one of America's big three credit rating agencies downgraded U.S. debt, blaming the country's fiscal deterioration under Biden.
And that's Fitch announcing that they officially downgraded the U.S. from AAA to AA plus, saying the downgrade reflects the expected fiscal deterioration in the nation's heavy debt burden.
But think about this.
Biden is now placing the blame on Donald Trump because Fitch announced the downgrade.
An administration official claimed to Fox Business that the underlying model was AAA until former President Trump's administration.
No, actually, that would be Joe Biden's administration.
He's now in his third year as president.
This is his economy.
You know, this was his inflation.
This is his gas price increase that is now going higher and higher.
By the way, Barack Obama recently warned Joe Biden that he could lose to Donald Trump.
By the way, CNN did an analysis, one of their election guys, fake news, CNN.
Shockingly, they say Donald Trump has a better chance of winning back the White House this election cycle than he had in 2016 or 2020.
That's a pretty interesting observation.
Anyway, so, I mean, you look at this 45-page indictment, and, you know, they're charging the president with four felony counts, conspiracy to defraud the U.S., conspiracy to obstruct an official hearing.
They also accuse Trump of trying to exploit January 6th, an assault on Congress to continue his effort to cling to power.
Trump's lawyer on my show last night calls it an attack on freedom of speech.
You know, how do you get around the exculpatory evidence as it relates to January 6th?
I know that the January 6th committee, I don't believe they ever once played the words of Donald Trump saying many of you will peacefully and patriotically march to the Capitol so your voices will be heard.
I know that everyone here will soon be marching over to the Capitol building to peacefully and patriotically make your voices heard.
Yeah, unbelievable.
Anybody remember Maxine Waters?
You see anybody from that administration for Chucky Schumer with Kavanaugh.
Yeah, we played all of this.
But again, I think the line of the day goes to Jonathan Turley.
It's a free speech killing indictment.
Jonathan Turley's a Democrat.
And the idea that the judge in this case worked for the law firm that employed Hunter Biden, the one that lobbied for Burisma.
I mean, you can't even make that up.
But that's it.
And apparently one of the harsher sentencers, as it comes to January 6th-related cases that came before her particular court, an Obama-appointed judge, said the country is watching to see what the consequences are for January 6th.
Clearly, a predetermined outcome there is, you know, I just don't see how they possibly, you know, they have to prove, and this is the odd part of all of this, that Trump really didn't believe what he was saying.
And I've interviewed him enough, and I'm just giving my opinion here, my observation.
Oh, yeah, he believed it.
He absolutely believed it.
Bernie Carrick gave justthenews.com.
Remember the last-minute filing before the indictment came out?
He surrendered to prosecutors all these files showing they didn't have answers to these questions, that they still needed to be investigated.
Well, that kind of tears apart the argument that they're trying to make here.
So, you know, this is all what it is.
And by the way, even fake news, CNN's Dana Bash, raw warning to the Biden campaign, Trump can win.
You think?
There's going to be an effort.
I don't know if it's going to be a fall, or I don't know if it's going to be the Joe Biden bribery allegations scandal, but there's going to be a push to get rid of Joe Biden on this ticket.
I just don't know who it's going to come from.
I think we'll see a canary in the coal mine.
Maureen Dowd at the New York Times going after the issue of not recognizing his seventh grandchild.
That was a moment because you wouldn't expect that from her.
But are there going to be prominent Democrats?
Well, we'll see.
But now we've got this whole issue of all of this involvement that Joe Biden had and the big lies that he told regarding his involvement with his son's foreign business dealings.
Now, why would any president's son be a crack addict, a drug addict at the time, an admitted addict?
Why would he be somebody that China, Russia, Ukraine, you know, Elena Bartarina, the Russian oligarch, former first lady of Moscow, billionaire?
How did she make it off the sanctions list for Russian oligarchs when they put sanctions on Russian oligarchs after the invasion of Ukraine?
Her name wasn't on that list.
How'd that happen?
Could it be the $3.5 million in business they did, the Bidens got from her, or the suspected investment of massive amounts of money in some real estate venture of the Bidens?
And by the way, why did now we know before the appointment to the Burisma board, according to these allegations from this FBI source, Burisma executives believed the price was steep.
They didn't want to pay $5 million to one Biden, $5 billion to another.
But it does make you wonder why Hunter Biden reportedly encouraged Devin Archer to buy that burner phone ahead of the appointment to the Burisma board and three days before a meeting at the Obama White House with his father, the big guy, and, you know, buy a cell phone from 7-Eleven or CVS tomorrow, and I'll do the same.
Why would they need burner phones after a meeting at the White House?
And it wasn't just Burisma.
Why is Ukraine paying all this money?
Why are they going into business with a guy whose resume is just riddled with, oh, I was on the Amtrak board.
I was on the UN Hunger Board.
I was a lawyer.
Why does he get millions of dollars with no experience?
Why does a Chinese energy company give into the pressure of intimidation of Hunter Biden?
I'm sitting here with my father.
Blah, blah, blah.
There's a lot to unfold here.
That lot will unfold here.
Devin Archer, it's the tip of the iceberg.
800-941 Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program.
All right.
