This is an iHeart podcast.
All right, thanks, Scott Shannon, and thanks to all of you for being with us.
Our toll-free number is 800-941-Sean.
If you want to be a part of the program, you know, Linda, got to ask you a question as we get this Friday started.
By the way, happy Friday.
Everybody, you made it.
Many of you in the car, you headed home.
You're like, thank God this week is over.
TGIF can't stand working, but we're here working along with you, and we'll be working tonight too.
So we got a lot of feedback on the Gavin Newsom interview.
A lot of feedback.
And some people did not understand why I did the interview.
You know why I did the interview.
I know why I did the interview.
And it's kind of amazing that some people don't understand why.
And one of the biggest reasons, as you know, are you there or did you just I'm here, boss?
I'm listening.
No, I'm here.
I'm ready for Question Friday.
Friday, Question Day.
That's my tip.
Friday Question Day is good for you.
Okay.
I'm all in.
You're all in.
Okay, totally.
Thank you, New York.
Totally.
All right.
So the reason is, is I suspect that going on underneath the surface is a stealth campaign to get Joe Biden off the ticket.
Some people are even vocal about it.
It's not by accident that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
has 21% of the Democratic primary vote right now.
It's not by accident that Mary Ann Williamson has 10%.
Now, that surprised me.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr., not as much.
Now, if you listen to Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
on vaccines, you're like on Team RFK Jr.
You're right there with him.
I mean, he takes a really hard line against all vaccines, not just the COVID vaccine.
I think history will prove people like him to be right.
Agreed.
And I do think that there were good people that tried to do the best they could with the limited knowledge that they had.
Nobody should have ever forgotten that these were all experimentally approved medicines.
You know what?
They were just, you know, it's like, okay, well, we haven't done the full testing on it, but we think we did enough testing that it's safe.
And they didn't quite sell it that way either.
But putting that aside, his issues on immigration, his issue of biological men playing women's sports, he agrees with us as conservatives.
But I totally believe that the people that want Biden off the ticket, they also don't want Kamala Harris to be the inevitable replacement for Joe because she clearly has not been up to the job of vice president, never mind the job of president.
Do you agree with that?
I do.
I don't even know where Kamala is these days.
She's getting a makeover.
Nita Dunn's been hired to come in and help her change her image.
Good look.
My point is, I felt that the country needed to know the person that I believe is the one that wants it the most, number one.
He wouldn't admit it to me.
And number two is being encouraged behind the scenes the most.
Remember, he even said, I'm not going to answer that question when I said, well, how many times a day do you get pinged?
You need to get in this primary and run against Joe Biden.
Gavin Newsome didn't want to do it.
And when I played for him, Joe's cognitive statements and brain farts, he didn't do particularly well on that question either, saying, well, I just know the results and the results are good.
Meanwhile, the results are horrible on every measure.
It's not even just one or two.
So that's why we did the interview.
Anyway, we're going to run the remaining part, the unaired part that was left tonight.
It's only going to be a small part of the program.
And then we'll have a regular show for the rest of it.
But we're going to air the interview that I did that did air in the last hour today because so many people have been talking about it.
Now, I pressed him.
The hard part about radio versus TV is I kept handing him statistics and graphs.
And on the graphs, for example, mass migration out of California versus mass migration into Florida because it's kind of clear that he and Ron DeSantis don't particularly like each other very much.
So I figured that was the appropriate comparison.
And he's constantly going after Ron DeSantis.
And anyway, well, Florida's gaining nearly 1,000 people a day, and California's losing nearly 800 people a day.
And could it be this figure here?
And then I'd hand him another graph that showed that the highest tax state in the country, income tax state, is California, 13.3%.
The state income tax in Florida is zero.
Average price for gas in California is like a buck and a quarter more than the average price of a gallon of gas in Florida.
And the homeless problem is, you know, seven, eight times worse in California than it is in Florida.
And they have kind of similar weather.
So it's not the weather.
You can't say, well, it's warmer here.
That's why I think people, you know, homeless people tend to gravitate.
No, I think they gravitate there because they know that these services are going to be provided by California taxpayers.
And, you know, his justification is tax the rich, tax the rich, tax the rich.
Well, the rich are now leaving.
So now they're actually talking about if you leave California that you'd still have to pay state income taxes, even though you don't live in the state for 10 years.
And on top of if you sell your house, then they have this massive, you know, 10% sales tax on the price of your home.
I mean, we're talking about the right to sell your home just to get that right.
You've got to pay $500,000 to the state.
It's just unreal.
Nobody's going to ever want to live there.
Anyway, so that's why I thought it was important.
Now, I might be wrong, but I don't think I am.
I think there's a lot of Democrats that are scared to death of Joe Biden running.
Now, they keep saying, Democrats, that they want Donald Trump to run.
And okay, well, if you wanted Donald Trump to run, why are you putting all these legal obstacles in front of him?
Because that doesn't make sense either.
By the way, in a move, Republicans blasting his amnesty light, Joe Biden decided not to deport over 300,000 illegal immigrants whose temporary protected status were set to expire.
Of course, he's not going to.
By the time this third year of his presidency is over, he's going to have allowed 750,000 illegal immigrants into our country.
And by the way, people should comment.
If you want to call in and tell me whether you'd want interviews like Gavin Newsom or not, or could put the other side on, you can weigh in.
800-941 showing us our number.
Just a couple of points on national security because Tony Blinken is about to get his ass kicked by his Chinese counterpart this weekend.
Because how do we know?
Because they said so.
That when the Secretary of State equivalent in China meets with Winkin Tony Blinken, you know, the guy that helped organize the 51 former Intel agents to lie to the American people, saying and give Joe a talking point that Hunter's laptop was likely disinformation.
That guy that helped organize that, you know.
Anyway, so that's going to happen.
Senate Republicans, they're now demanding that Biden release the intelligence on the Chinese spy balloon.
When are they going to release that?
When are they ever going to tell us?
Because I'd like to know, and I think other interesting minds would like to know, when are they going to tell us?
What are the other three unidentified objects that our government shot out of the sky with $400,000 Sidewinder missiles?
And by the way, the Belarus opposition leader has now slammed the West for ignoring the fact that Russia has deployed nuclear weapons in Belarus.
Is that okay with Joe Biden?
Because apparently the Chinese, the communist Chinese partnering with Cuba in our backyard's not a problem.
The Chinese spy balloon was not a problem.
There's no consequences.
russia shooting down or taking down one of our drones is not a problem they get rewarded with you know a nordstrom 2 pipeline while we're canceling the keystone xl pipeline You know, there's no consequences for aggressive actions against American fighter jets in international airspace or aggressive actions on the Pacific and South China Sea, international waterways against our Navy by the communist Chinese.
You know, so why should they even care?
And China, by the way, has gone on a hacking spree against the West as President Xi now meets with his old friend Bill Gates and Blinken because they're both on their way to see President Xi.
Can you not see that they've declared a Cold War against you?
You can't see it.
By the way, in spite of all of the efforts to marginalize and hurt Donald Trump, latest real clear politics average shows that Donald Trump is leading over Joe Biden and the real clear politics average.
And that includes one point of Piak poll that I just don't buy at all that had Biden up by four points.
So I don't believe that one because all the other ones showed Trump ahead.
Anyway, we do have a lot of information today on the Biden family syndicate.
Oh, by the way, here's another question I want people to answer.
Because in that interview, should Ron DeSantis debate, what do you think, Linda?
If I'm Ron DeSantis and I'm, you know, behind in the polls and I'm trying to get traction in a presidential race, wouldn't you debate Gavin Newsom if he asked you to debate?
I would.
He could literally say nothing and he would win the debate.
Literally nothing.
Just memorize the record and compare Florida to California.
There's no comparison.
But the problem is, and you showed this with the boards as you went through your interview, and this is the thing that I think concerns me a little bit, is we elected Joe Biden after 47 years of doing nothing.
And now we're considering Newsom, who has managed to single-handedly destroy one of the most beautiful states in our nation and has zero desire to make a change and doesn't even see it, or at least is saying he doesn't see it.
You know, he has, you know, rules for the not-for-me kind of thing going on, you know, but which he did Maya COPE to, you know, in your interview.
But I think the bottom line is I'm a little concerned about Democrats.
They don't really seem to care about progress or success so long as you're paying out their special interest and sort of, you know, making our nation a third world nation.
You know, it's look, the thing is, is the only thing I agreed to is not to constantly interrupt.
Okay, that's a full answer.
Yes, they should debate.
Let me just give you that final answer.
I think you should moderate.
I think it would be a lot of fun.
I do not think that he would do it, and I do not think that his people would allow him to do it.
All right, Cody in Texas has a comment.
What's your comment, Cody?
Hey, Sean, I'm a big fan.
I've watched you forever, and I love you.
Thank you.
Thing is, on the interview with Gavin Newsom, you gave great graphics to him on almost every one of them.
And a perfect example is like one where you said you've lost so many jobs.
Gavin Newsom came back at you and said, well, we lost low-paying jobs, but we gained back high-paying tech jobs.
And you didn't confront him and stop him on that.
And that's where if you ever do an interview like that again, I want you to hit back at him, say, no, no.
Let me tell you what I did say, because I remember what I said.
I said to him, no, they're moving their company headquarters out of your state.
And his argument was, yeah, but there are still some workers here.
I don't remember him saying, I'm paying workers.
I mean, but the reality is every company I listed was every major hit hard at him.
You wish I hit him harder on it.
Independent voter, to me, it made him look good and saying, oh, well, he's really working hard and trying hard, which he's not.
He's horrible.
I'm a straight conservative.
So you don't think me running the list of every big corporation and there were dozens and dozens and dozens of huge corporate names that everybody recognized as leaving.
You don't think that speaks volumes itself?
I do, but the way Gavin Newsom was coming back at you, I think you needed to hit harder back at him and say, no, wait a minute, stop right there.
That's not.
All right.
Listen, I'm open for any suggestions.
I want to do the best show I can.
So I do appreciate your input, okay?
Thank you, sir.
All right, 800, 941 show.
Maybe this should be Grade the Host Day.
That's always fine.
No, no, no, no.
No, no, no.
Opinions are like, you know what's, and everybody has them.
No, but that's relevant feedback.
He didn't feel I pushed back hard enough.
But I thought me listing every major company, I thought it was devastating.
I thought it's sporting.
But he's not even hearing it because in his mind, he's, you know, he's like, oh, yeah, I'm doing great.
I'm doing the best I can, you know, given the situation.
I mean, he's a typical Democrat.
He's got an answer for everything.
Or like a rhino.
The rhinos are the same way.
All right, as we roll along, pleasure with us.
Got a lot of news today on the Biden family syndicate.
Hunter Biden's bereavement partner, Devin Archer, is apparently in talks to testify on the Biden family bribe scandal.
Devin Archer is in talks apparently with the House Oversight Committee, that's James Comer's committee, to testify about his knowledge of the First Family's business dealings in countries like Russia and Ukraine.
Spent a lot of time yesterday on the Ukraine issue.
What we now know, to me, is everything you would need to impeach a Donald Trump easily.
But of course, there's the dual standard of justice in America.
Or what about ism?
What about ism means that you actually believe in equal justice, equal application, equal justice under the law in America?
I know it's an old concept in the minds of some outdated, but the minds of us that believe in our great Constitution, it is paramount.
Anyway, Archer potentially could fill in some of the major gaps in knowledge about the allegations that Joe and Hunter were given $10 million in bribes by this executive at this Ukrainian gas and oil giant Barisma and whether or not this guy taped Joe and Hunter.
Love to hear those tapes.
Where are they?
Who has them?
When are we going to get to listen to them?
800-941-Sean as we continue this Friday.
Driving the liberals nuts.
Sean Hannity is back on the radio right now.
All right, 25 to the top of the hour.
House Homeland Security Chair saying now that the Republican House Homeland Security Chairman, warning Wednesday, that the Chinese military is taking full advantage of Joe Biden's open borders policy following a committee report.
Nothing that illegal border crossings by Chinese nationals has now skyrocketed 500% in the last year.
Oh, they've been paying attention to Joe Biden's open borders.
Anyway, the chairman, Mark Green, said Wednesday, China is likely sending military personnel into the U.S. across the southern border.
Why wouldn't they?
They get away with spy balloons.
They're buying up farmland, ranch land, and land near military installations.
Why would we suspect they're not doing this?
Revelation came from a Border Patrol sector chief, adding that they expect a classified briefing on the matter in the near future.
Wow.
I think China's declared a Cold War.
I guarantee you that Anthony Blinken is going to get his ass handed to him when he meets with his Chinese counterpart this weekend, and he won't have the courage to stand up to them.
There's my prediction.
They're not going to do a thing.
And what they ought to be doing is going there and lecturing the communist Chinese that if their aggressive actions continue, these will be the consequences.
But, of course, how much money did the Biden family syndicate do in business with the Communist Chinese?
I wonder what their dossier on Hunter Biden might look like, just like Russia's dossier on Hunter Biden.
We found out Libya had a dossier on Hunter Biden.
I can only imagine what Russia and China has on top of Ukraine and what's in the 17 tapes.
I'd like to know that too.
Anyway, so we'll see what happens on Devin Archer, whether or not he makes this deal with the House Oversight Committee to testify about his knowledge of the First Family's business dealings in countries like Russia and Ukraine.
Maybe he could shed some light on the issue involving Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, and Joe leveraging a billion taxpayer dollars to get a prosecutor fired.
Unreal.
Biden bragging that he's spending nearly a billion dollars to bankroll a solar plant in Africa.
By the way, and he said three times in a speech that Africa's on the verge of having nearly a billion people in their population.
Well, it's actually a billion four.
They passed the billion people mark when he became vice president in 2009.
I guess he forgot that part too.
But anyway, in the same speech where he vowed to build a railroad that would connect the Pacific and the Indian Oceans, Biden bragged that his administration had just approved a taxpayer-backed loan for nearly a billion dollars to build a solar plant in Africa.
But unlike his Indian Ocean Railroad, Biden's announcement that U.S. tax dollars would be bankrolling a billion-dollar solar plant in Africa appears to be true.
Now, I don't know.
We have $31 trillion in debt.
Maybe I think that's a bad investment that we can't afford.
I don't know.
Maybe we should be spending the money here at home.
Maybe we should be spending the money on better schools that aren't woke.
Anyway, Biden trashes the reporter who dared to ask this question.
This happened on Thursday.
The exchange happens at the end of a speech by Biden, in which the president presents the administration's plans to protect American consumers from hidden junk fees.
Listen to this.
Why is that not saying Biden?
Why did I ask you a bad question?
Why did Ukraine FBI informant file refer to you as the big guy, Mr. Biden?
Brief pause.
Why'd you ask such a dumb question?
Nothing dumb about that question.
That question actually gets to the heart of whether or not the Biden family has, in fact, compromised itself in regards to Ukraine, Russia, China, and a dozen other countries.
As I just mentioned, House Oversight Committee Chairman on with us last night, James Comer, saying that once he gets his hands on all the Biden crime family's bank records, which they're finding, and they're finding more, quote, phony LLCs that aren't real LLCs that invest in businesses like most people's LLCs, like my LLCs.
No, he expects that they'll show as much as $30 million in foreign monies being paid to various Biden relatives.
Now, the question is: what did these countries expect the Bidens to do for all these millions of dollars?
We already tracked, according to James Comer, a little over $10 million.
We're pretty confident from another source that the number is going to go way beyond $20 million and will be more if you factor in the president's brother, who dealt mainly in the Middle East.
We haven't even gotten to him yet.
So it could be tens of millions of dollars more on top of that.
And they've identified nine separate Biden family members that are beneficiaries of these monies from this foreign business dealing.
Anyway, so at what point do we get the exact number?
How much money in business did they do with all these foreign entities?
And what did these countries expect for the millions of dollars they invested?
What did Ukraine expect from Hunter, who had no experience in Ukraine, oil, gas, coal, energy at all, but got paid by an oil and gas giant?
Well, they certainly got rid of their prosecutor problem thanks to dad leveraging a billion taxpayer dollars, but nobody in this dumb media that we surround ourselves with dares to ask that question because they've been so politicized and weaponized for all things radical Democrat.
Anyway, Hunter Biden is scheduled to be deposed today in Arkansas.
This is one of the saddest stories about the Bidens I think I've ever heard.
And Linda, you and I have discussed this.
You know, a four-year-old little girl, regardless of what the circumstances were, what brought her into this world.
And this was a former girlfriend of Hunter Biden.
And I refuse to disparage her because I don't know her life circumstances, and I'm not in any position to judge anybody.
Judge not lest you be judged.
Forgive as we forgive, right?
I kind of believe that.
That's God's golden rule, the Lord's prayer.
So anyway, this little girl was born, and it took a DNA test for Hunter to even admit paternity.
It turns out it is his daughter, and he's then ordered by the court to pay, frankly, a reasonable amount of child support.
Nothing particularly onerous for somebody making the monies that he's been making and living the lifestyle he's been living, you know, paying a fortune for his dad's rental, paying a fortune for sports cars and a luxurious lifestyle.
Where was he in Malibu, wherever he was living?
You know, wasted money on drugs, prostitutes, and anything else he's wasting money on.
He would think he put a little bit of that money away for his biological daughter.
But he's now fighting in court to prevent his own daughter from having his own name.
Now, I think it would be in my kids' advantage to get rid of my last name and given them full permission to do so.
Linda, you think this part is funny?
I do.
I mean, I think that the kids should be proud of your last name.
Honestly, I would be mortified if my last name was Biden.
I thought you were going to say you'd be mortified if your last name was Hannity.
Anyway, so Hunter is scheduled to be deposed today.
And here's the saddest part of this: this little girl did nothing wrong.
She's an innocent, precious child, beautiful little girl.
Mom loves her.
Mom has said, I saw the note.
It was in one of these articles, wrote a very nice note to Hunter.
If you ever want to be involved in your daughter's life, the door is always open.
I thought that was actually a very gracious, nice, kind thing to do, especially when somebody's kind of screwing you and not wanting to pay child support payments.
It's your child.
You bring a child into the world.
Sorry, you're financially responsible for that child.
And it goes way beyond the age of 18 or the age of 21.
You got to be there emotionally for that child.
You know, maybe you don't get along with the mom.
Fine.
Find a way.
Work it out.
There's ways to get around that.
But now the fact that the Biden family, I mean, they put up, you know, if you ask Joe and Jill Biden how many grandchildren they have, they'll tell you six.
If you look at their fireplace with their stockings at Christmastime, they have six grandchildren's stockings.
The problem is they have seven grandchildren, except they won't even acknowledge their own granddaughter, their own flesh and blood.
Now, tell me, what is the justification for that?
And you tell me that if Donald Trump had a granddaughter, that he failed to recognize what the media reaction would be.
Because to me, that speaks volumes about the Bidens.
I'm sorry, that girl is innocent in all of this.
Am I wrong?
No, not at all.
And they would lose their minds.
I mean, quite frankly, it doesn't matter what the topic is.
You put Trump on one side, you put Biden on the other, and the rules will never apply the same way.
It doesn't matter what the subject is.
And this kid is no exception.
And it's very, very sad that she is now a pawn in this family and what they're doing.
And to be quite frank with you, it really to you know, Joe Biden's out to lunch, but I blame Jill.
I'm like, that's the grandma right there.
And from what I can see, she seems to know what day it is still.
So she's actually doing this with full cognitive ability.
It's even more disgusting.
Well, unbelievable.
All right.
We told people we let them call in if they want to give me advice.
So I'm going to let them do that.
George in California.
George, how are you?
Well, you live there.
You can't hate it that much.
What's up, George?
You know, Sean, I was brought out here with my parents when I was two from Minnesota, and it's been a great life here.
But I'll give you one word for Gavin Newsom: disingenuous.
And the reason I say that, when I watched him on your program the other day, he tried to roll back that issue that you said about the French laundry.
Like, oh, don't bring that up again.
Well, he, where's he?
Oh, he actually owned it.
He said it was dumb.
Those were his words.
He said, me doing that was dumb.
And I agreed with him.
Yeah.
But then he, you know, he tried to act like, I don't need to deal with that anymore, you know, and that kind of attitude.
And I thought, he's very disingenuous.
And that was the word I came up with.
That I want you to know because in your.
I see, I took it a different way.
I thought he was like owning it and basically saying I was an idiot for doing that.
And I got caught at it and I paid a price for it.
And it was dumb.
I mean, he just said it.
Sure.
Sure, that's easy to do.
But you know, the better thing, I think, too, like the other guy was saying, to ride him a little more, the other thing is should have had some pictures.
You could have just went anywhere around here underneath any of our overpasses or any of our wetlands that he's allowing people supposedly to be on state property.
And take a look at that now and say, gee, you know, I know he said he owned that too, but he had 10 years, man.
That's just everybody that lives around here knows it's gone from San Francisco.
Wait a minute.
In 2008, in 2008, he came out with a plan for how to solve homelessness in San Francisco.
I played what he said in 2008.
It was a 10-year plan.
Well, now it's 15 years later.
And on that issue, he seemed to own it as well.
Said he failed on that mission in terms of homelessness because you're right.
It's never been that bad.
And I know because I have sent my cameras.
I sent LJ Lawrence Jones, my friend, he went there twice for the show to just film for our show what's going on in San Francisco, a mile away from Nancy Pelosi's house in one direction and a mile away from her office in another direction.
So we've already chronicled that.
You did see that I played that tape for him, right?
Like you say, he owned it, but again, disingenuous, like when he tried to change the statistics around with you and bat them back and forth like it was a tennis game or something.
I was like, come on, dude.
You know, disingenuous.
That's the word for him.
Hope he doesn't ever get a chance to be in that White House.
That's all I got to say.
Well, do you agree with me that he's thinking about running?
Because I think he is.
Oh, Sean, I knew this from a long time ago.
I could see they were clearly grooming him for the job.
And the farther he can get away from what's going on here and get that direction is going to be the sooner he's going to try and do it.
I'll guarantee you.
I think you're probably right.
George, thank you.
I appreciate the call.
Glad you're listening.
Glad you're watching.
Well, we'll play some of this in the final hour today.
Robert in Vegas, what's up, Robert?
How are you, my friend?
Hey, Dawn.
I'm doing great.
Thanks, Sean.
Hey, you have two very large platforms, but very little time.
If you really believe the future of this country is at a tipping point, you're not angry enough, my friend.
That interview with Newsome should have been a slug fest.
It wasn't just stupid that he went to the French laundry.
It was a confirmation that he completely shut down 45 million people in California for his own political agenda.
And you can replicate that in New York and Illinois and a couple of the states, too.
But Newsom is the snake that they're going to run at us.
Why are we giving him more time?
You're going to lose.
Well, he hasn't had any time.
I mean, in fairness, he hasn't been doing any national.
He hasn't been on Fox News since 2010.
Now, let me take what you're saying and just let me ask you: do you think this audience is smart?
Do you think, for example, a talk radio audience, a Hannity viewer?
I mean, I speak for myself.
I don't speak for any other show.
I speak for Hannity, my show.
Do you think that my audience is pretty smart?
I think your general audience is pretty smart, but still very compassionate and middle-of-the-road.
If they're willing to meet us in the middle, we'll meet them in the middle, and that's why we keep losing.
But that was the whole point of the interview.
I said, there is no middle ground.
Tell me how you compromise on open borders of Sanctuary State.
How do you compromise on law and order versus defund and no-bail laws?
How do you compromise on energy independence and dependence?
That was the whole point.
I said, there is no compromising point, is there?
I suppose the compromise is he owns it.
He agrees with you.
And our middle-of-the-road people keep giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Well, he's going to meet us in the middle at some point.
You think we have middle-of-the-road conservatives?
I don't know them.
Because anytime anything comes out that's not conservative, which isn't often for me, trust me, I get hammered.
Or if I put on, if Lindsey Graham is not on his 75% level and he says something that our audience doesn't like, they ream me out for putting him on.
Rightly so.
I get mad at him too.
And I appreciate that anger.
My opinion is you're not fighting hard enough.
And you're not the only one.
I think, yes, you have a show.
Yes, you have to work towards a certain place.
But for better or for worse, we're letting Gavin Newsom dictate the agenda when you're talking about.
Let me tell you my methods of my madness.
I am saying to America and conservatives in particular, watch out for this guy.
And I wanted you to know who he was.
And I felt like I accomplished that.
Would you agree with that part?
I would agree with you that the smart people heard it.
My opinion is the people that are in the middle heard the opposite.
They heard he owned it.
He's responsible.
He's going to do better.
He doesn't want these problems either.
But the truth is.
All right.
Last question.
Do you want him to debate Ron DeSantis or would you not want me to do that?
