Roger Stone and Angela Stanton King Describes the Scene At Trump's Post-Arrest Mar-a-Lago Speech
| Copy link to current segment

Time Text
And now, Lindell TV brings you The Stone Zone, with legendary Republican strategist and political icon, and pundit, Roger Stone.
Stone has served as a senior campaign aide to three Republican presidents, he is a New York Times best-selling author, and a longtime friend and advisor of President Donald Trump.
As an outspoken libertarian, Stone has appeared on thousands of broadcasts, spoken at countless venues, and lectured before the prestigious Oxford Political Union and the Cambridge Union Society.
Due to his four-plus decades in the political and cultural arena, Stone has become a pop culture icon.
And now, here's your host, Roger Stone!
And welcome, I'm Roger Stone, and, well, you are about to enter the Stone Zone.
Yesterday was a sad day for America, an ominous day for America, as we saw our criminal justice system weaponized against the leading Republican candidate for president in 2024.
Here in a moment to help us break that down is one of my Favorite people in the entire world, Angela Stanton King.
And then in our second segment, our new Stone's Own legal analyst, Gary Ostrow, attorney at law, will help us examine the charges against Trump and try to make sense of what exactly is going on.
As far as last night is concerned, it was an extraordinary event.
All other Americans watched the proceedings in New York with great chagrin.
CNN and MSNBC seemed to be really enjoying themselves.
But I think the president looked stoic, brave, and I think resolute in the face of this unprecedented attack.
It's amazing how many jackals in the media who saw me on television last night at Mar-a-Lago called today to try to get me to say that the president was angry or downbeat or furious or depressed or stressed about it, but that's certainly not the Donald Trump I saw last night.
It's not the Donald Trump that I sat with for dinner after dinner for about an hour.
It is not the Donald Trump I've spoken to on the phone this week.
Now here to help me break this all down, one of my favorite people, civil rights activist and America's first patriot, also my niece, Angela Stanton King.
Hey Uncle Raj, it was so great to see you last night at Mar-a-Lago.
Thanks for having me on the show.
So I want you to help me beat back this fake news narrative.
You and I have both been to a lot of political events.
Some of them are really boring, let's face it.
I even think that at the President's announcement of candidacy some months ago, I think it was a successful event.
It had nothing close to the energy or the electricity or the enthusiasm of what we saw last night.
What did you think?
I think the same thing.
I mean, kudos to President Trump for standing strong.
His bravery to me just speaks volumes.
You know, I started off knowing President Trump by working through criminal justice reform efforts like the First Step Act, and of course him Making it illegal for them to chain women to the bed during childbirth due to my story.
And I'm just sitting here imagining the wonderful comeback that's going to come out of this.
Because not only was he a warrior for criminal justice reform, but now that he is being unjustly persecuted and prosecuted, I can't wait to see what he does on his comeback in regards to reforming the criminal justice system.
He certainly is off to a good start in his first term.
The First Step Act, the Second Chance Act, of course, he doesn't get the credit for those things that he deserves.
It's ironic that Democrats have talked about criminal justice reform.
Well, they should.
Most of the things wrong with the criminal justice system were put in place by Judiciary Senate Chairman Joe Biden and President Bill Clinton.
They're the ones who weaponized the war on drugs to shift the focus from drug dealers and drug peddlers and drug traffickers to individuals who have no prior criminal record who are arrested with small amounts of drugs for their personal use.
These people belong in drug treatment programs Not in prison.
They're not a danger to anyone other than perhaps themselves.
But of course, that's not the Clinton-Biden philosophy.
So if you're unhappy about the war on drugs, please recognize who turbocharged the war on drugs.
It was not Republicans.
And then to see a civil rights icon like John Lewis vote against the criminal justice reforms put forward by President Donald Trump just because he is a Republican, just because they were put forward for Trump, I would think he would have been happy to have progress on this issue.
But no, he and a handful of other African American Democrats in the House and other progressives voted against something they've been calling for for decades.
It is hypocrisy writ large.
You know, Uncle Raj, I'm with you when you write.
They can call us names, they can say we're bigots, they can say we're racist, because believe it or not, as a black woman, I've been accused of being a racist just because I identify as a Republican.
But here's the thing, those same civil rights leaders in the African American community that you're talking about, They will vote against criminal justice reform and vote for abortion.
That should tell Black America all that it is that they need to know.
I cannot believe for the life of me, but I'll tell you what, I am starting to see a difference in our community.
The tide is turning.
I see people shifting.
I see minds shifting.
Them arresting President Donald Trump has started a wildfire, and I promise you, more and more eyes are being opened each and every day.
Well, you make a very good point.
Today in New York City, more African American babies are aborted than are being born.
That is a shocking and disgusting fact.
And we need to do something about that.
What is it about Donald Trump That just seems to drive the Democrat mainstream legacy media cabal completely insane.
In other words, they didn't like previous Republicans, but there's something about Trump that just makes them nutty, loony, insane.
We know exactly what it is.
We know that Trump is not bought.
We know that Trump cannot be controlled.
And we know that Trump is going to tell it like it T-I-E is, like my grandma used to say.
They don't like the fact that he stands strong, he stands on what he says, and he delivers on all of his promises.
They know that if Trump gets back in office, it's an end to their reign.
And guess what?
We need to protect our children, We need to advocate for ways that babies can be born alive, not advocating for babies to be born dead.
We need to get behind organizations like Auntie Angie's House and American King Foundation that actually provide solutions to the community.
One of the things that I've observed and learned, and I'm so grateful for this journey, while being able to work with President Trump, is that the Democrats have lied to us for a very, very long time.
They have gotten the Black vote strictly off of emotion and have done absolutely nothing for the Black community.
The Black community is waking up.
I'm just so blessed to have a huge voice in that community to remind them, listen, the Democrat Party of today is not the Democrat Party that it was 10 or 15 or 20 years ago, and it's time for a shift.
Well, the truth in fact is that Donald Trump got historic record levels of support among African Americans in the last election.
I think he would have gotten more if he had educated people about Joe Biden's role in turbocharging the war on drugs, Joe Biden's longtime record as a Essentially a segregationist.
Joe Biden got elected to the U.S.
Senate opposing the integration of the Wilmington public schools.
He said, and I quote, they would be a racial jungle.
I don't want my daughter going to school in a jungle.
Talk about the dog.
You know, Uncle Raj, that's not all he said.
He also referred to us as super predators.
You know, he gave a long speech.
He also said that he did not apologize for the 94 crime bill, which we know massly incarcerated black Americans.
So you know what I think?
I think President Trump also would have won if the media had a highlighted on those black suitcases up under the table.
That's what I think.
Well, you live in Georgia, so that's something you know a lot about.
I think the president was very wise last night to go out of his way to let people know what the next shoe that is very likely to drop is, because there in Georgia, where you're from, you have another Soros-funded prosecutor.
Fannie Willis and anyone who will take the actual time to read the long transcript of the entire phone call between President Donald Trump and Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger will realize that Trump did not instruct Raffensperger to quote find 1,100 I think it was 870 votes or 780 votes.
That is entirely out of context.
First of all, there's at least six other lawyers participating in the call.
And as the president said last night in his remarks, it was indeed a perfect call.
What he said to Raffensperger was without even questioning the integrity of the machines, You have already counted more than 11,870 illegal votes, including 5,000 votes by convicted felons.
So you don't have to go into the machines, question the machines, where there are legitimate questions about the accuracy of the machines.
Without overturning the results of this election, because you have already inadvertently, incorrectly counted a number of disqualified ballots that is greater than the margin by which they're currently claiming Joe Biden carried the state.
But those are facts.
See, never let facts get in the way of a great political narrative.
And therefore, I think the president was very smart to stake this out last night, because folks, that is the next shoe to drop.
As you're going to learn in our second segment with our new Stone Zone legal analyst, Gary Ostro, the case against Donald Trump in New York is paper thin.
There is no crime there.
Last night I watched Andrew Weissman, who was the de facto head of the Mueller investigation, a man who tried to ruin my life, but even he was perplexed at the legal theory behind Mr. Bragg's indictment.
John Bolton, of all people, was defending President Trump last night on TV.
Even he could see through the incredible political nature of this indictment.
I agree with something you said earlier, which is everyday people People are not that political, but people who are beginning to realize that those gasoline prices are crippling.
People are beginning to realize that when they go to the grocery store, a lot of the things they're looking for are not available, and when they do find the things they need, well, they're priced beyond their reach.
People are beginning to realize that this massive spending spree that Joe Biden is on, including shipping billions of dollars to Ukraine in order to foster World War III, isn't working for the United States.
Now we hear that Russia, China, Saudi Arabia, Iran and Brazil are working together to have a new standard international currency Replacing the United States dollar, which has been the international standard for many decades.
I think people in the middle, people are waking up.
That the policies of this administration, Build Back Better, is really tearing America down.
And therefore, as a political analyst, as someone who doesn't go by just their gut or their instincts or their feelings or their beliefs, but someone who looks at the data, I have never seen this kind of poll surge for any candidate as I've seen for Donald Trump in the last 10 days.
You know, Raj, I'll say this.
They've noticed everything that you mentioned, but you want to know what else Americans are noticing at every level?
They're noticing this attack on children.
They're noticing this agenda being pushed on children.
You know, we're Americans.
We're all for everybody's rights.
We don't want to step on anyone's toes.
But when we see that there is a direct attack on our children, then we'll begin to see more and more Americans standing up and fighting back.
And this is the atmosphere that Joe Biden has created, him and his administration.
Everything has been about Ukraine and a gender identity for children, Nothing at all has been about America and Americans are ready for Trump to be back in office.
And that's just the honest to God truth.
And Alvin Bragg and the Democrats and all of the rest of them are trying to do everything in their power to keep this man from becoming the president in 2024.
What's really extraordinary to me are the president's remarks, President Biden's remarks and his entire handling.
In the wake of this horrific shooting at a Christian school in Tennessee in which six people, including three children, nine years old each, all died.
The response from his spokesperson and his own response is, well, the trans community is under attack.
We know that the shooter there was a trans person.
Our hearts and our prayers go out to the families of those people.
This is a shocking crime.
Mrs. Stone and I literally were speechless over this.
Joe Biden doesn't really even seem to care.
I mean, first he makes jokes about ice cream, then he makes jokes about how good looking the school kids are that he's addressing.
That's not a moral leader.
And I'm a libertarian.
I think what consenting adults do in their own home is their business.
I'm for freedom.
But when you start trying to indoctrinate and confuse children, and when you start to maim children who aren't old enough to make a decision about their future, I think this is a very serious thing.
Now I recognize just by my saying that I'm probably taking my life in my hands because this movement is becoming increasingly militant and increasingly violent.
And it's also anti-woman.
I'll tell you that.
And women better begin to wake up and fight for their place in this world.
You know, this is the thing that surprises me when it comes to the Democrat and Joe Biden.
They have no problem tying the identity of a person when it's an officer-involved shooting.
We always know that the white officer killed a black man.
Why is it not okay to say that a trans woman intentionally targeted Christian children?
And for Joe Biden and his administration to take the position that they did Days after three children were murdered senselessly while in an American school.
If we have billions of dollars to send to Ukraine, why can we not have billions of dollars to protect our children in school?
What's happening right now in America is absolutely insane.
Everything is about identity politics.
Everyone has forgotten about what's really important here, and that is our children, Our children are the future, and I think that Americans across this nation are waking up realizing that they've been bamboozled.
And I'm telling you, this 2024 campaign, I can't wait to witness it all happen.
So tell us about Auntie Angie's house, because last time you were with us, the facility that you had managed to obtain for this help, to unwed mothers had been burned to the ground under suspicious circumstances.
But I know you, I knew you wouldn't give up then.
You said here on this show you wouldn't give up.
And you're back, you're operational.
You are doing great things in the name of Jesus Christ.
Tell us about what's going on at Auntie Angie's. - Wow, we had a grand opening on April 24th at our new location.
Shout out to Lieutenant Governor Mark Robinson, Benjamin Watson from the NFL, New England Patriots, my godmother Alveda King, Bruce Lavelle, so many others came out and showed their support.
But we now have an open and operating location for pregnant women in need or facing crises.
And you know, It's like we say, as conservatives, we get attacked so many times for talking about, hey, we're pro-life, we're pro-life.
And the first thing that they say is, you ought to care about babies after they're born.
Well, guess what we do?
That's why we have Auntie Angie's House.
Auntie Angie's House is a home resource for women in need.
It's a transitional center where they can live.
For a certain amount of time and transition themselves back into society with entrepreneurship skills.
We take the load off so that baby can be born into a happy, nurturing and loving environment.
We want to make sure that we are fighting to protect life.
Auntie Angie's house is on the path to being in every major city across this nation.
I've said this before.
Are we really giving them a choice if Planned Parenthood is the only option available to them in their communities?
We want to see an Auntie Angie's house across from every Planned Parenthood in America and I want everyone that's watching right now Head over to AuntieAngie'sHouse.com.
Look for ways that you can support, donate, send baby items.
We are really changing lives and saving lives at the same time.
You see it there on the screen, folks.
You can contact Auntie Angie's House if you want to make a contribution or if you're interested in helping open one of these facilities in your town or your city or in your state.
She is doing the Lord's work.
Now, Angie, I know that you were a candidate for Congress, that you ran a valiant race in an extraordinarily difficult district.
I respect the person who actually climbs in the arena, not the person who stands on the sideline and points out what Angie could have done this better, or Angie could have done that better, or Angie didn't do this, or Angie should have done that.
No, I respect the person who climbs in the arena and against overwhelming odds, spends themselves in a great attempt to change the world and make it a better place.
And although you were defeated, you have the satisfaction of knowing that you spent yourself in a legitimate and worthy cause, compared to those people who stand on the sideline and bitch and moan about everybody else and how they're doing it wrong, but don't have the courage to get in the arena themselves.
And I know your current focus is on Auntie Angie's house, but do you think there is a day when you might yet again enter the lists and run for public office?
You know, I got beat up a little bit in that race.
It was hard.
I mean, not just being the first time candidate, but just dealing with all of the virtual for being a black Republican in a time where racial tensions were so high.
Also a very loud and outspoken Trump supporter.
And I still support Trump and stand on that.
Until probably the day that I die.
But it was a very, very tough race.
And I was actually running for the people.
I was running because I wanted to see change.
I didn't get involved with Politics to change my community.
I mean, I got involved in politics because I wanted to change my community.
I didn't get involved in the community because I wanted to push politics.
It's all about recognizing who's been in the community, who's doing the work, who's really fighting for change.
But when you are someone who stands for life, when you are someone who stands against You know, the sexual exploitation or the sexual, the genital mutilation of children, then you come up under attack by the mob.
And that's what we saw happen.
We're still seeing it happen with this attack on our president, but we are going to stand firm.
And if, you know, God says one day that I'm supposed to get back in the ring, then I'm sure that I will.
But for right now, I know that my focus is Auntie Angie's house and we'll see what happens with Trump in 2024.
You're a young woman.
You have a long career ahead of you.
I have a feeling that your greatest public service lies ahead.
Here's a political question, a little bit of a tough one, I think.
Any way I look at it, I sit down and I try to figure out 270 electoral votes.
Uh, based on the states that Donald Trump can and has a good shot to handle.
Uh, by any measure, Georgia is always in my list.
I don't see a way that the Republican candidate who is going to be Donald Trump can get to 270 without Georgia.
Yet I completely distrust the election machinery in Georgia.
Uh, you have a majority of the congressional delegation are Republicans.
You have a majority in both houses of the legislature.
You have a, Republican governor, although he's a bit of a rhino.
On paper, it certainly seems to me that Georgia should be winnable by President Trump in 24, but I'm really not sure.
What do you think?
I mean, if you wanna know the truth, I think President Trump won the last election and we don't even have to get into all that cuz people, Trump won and you know it.
That's a song that I heard went number one on iTunes.
So we're up against, you know what we're up against, and I believe that Trump is going to win the 2024 election.
Is he going to be cheated?
Is he going to be swindled?
Are they going to be Relying on machines that come up with their own votes?
Are they going to be pulling suitcases out from up under the table?
We don't know.
We have to wait and see.
But I'm just trusting that God, my faith is in God, my faith is in the American citizens in this country, that we're going to stand up and we're going to do something to protect our children, whether Trump gets back in office or not.
If Trump doesn't get back in, then what?
America, we need to think about that.
So now's the time for us to come together And take a stand for our rights, for our children.
And I mean, it's just, it's, I mean, we've got to recognize it for what it is.
Well, I hope that you are right.
I really think that people need to recognize the likely economic circumstances that are going to surround the last election.
Because folks, Joe Biden is pulling down our strategic energy reserves.
He is spending like a drunken sailor.
That's an insult to drunken sailors.
The inflation is only going to get worse.
The economy is only going to get worse.
The gasoline prices are only going to rise.
The food shortages are going to get worse.
And there's 370,000 homeless veterans in this country, but we're shipping billions of dollars to Ukraine.
And the president was right last night.
We are tiptoeing right up to the To the brink of World War Three.
People say, oh, well, we're fighting for democracy.
Really?
Under President Zelensky, all other political parties other than his are outlawed.
The people he ran against in the last Democratic election have been arrested.
Journalists are arrested.
TV stations, newspapers, radio stations are closed.
Russian Orthodox priests, the largest religion in the country.
They're arrested.
They're not allowed to have church services.
No, I'm sorry.
That's not democracy.
That's tyranny.
In fact, that's the way they treat people in Russia.
And no, we're not.
We're not stooges for Vladimir Putin.
We don't like the Russian system.
But I'll tell you what we like even less.
World War III.
Because if all of us are vaporized, it doesn't matter what the cost of gasoline is.
It doesn't matter about the future of our children.
And that is not outside the realm of possibility.
So join me in praying for the success of Auntie Angie's house.
Join me in praying for the safety of the American people.
Join me in praying for President Trump, for his safety in the difficult days ahead, and pray for my niece, Angela Stanton King.
Thank you so much for joining us in the Stone Zone.
Thank you everybody.
Bye!
There you have it, a civil rights worker and a great African-American Republican, an America First Republican, a woman of enormous courage, and she was with us last night.
It was so great to have her and be with her at Mar-a-Lago.
You know, I said last Day before last because last night my good friend Mel Kay stepped in to be the guest host here at the Stone Zone.
We've had some of the greatest number of downloads for the show that we have ever had and I'm very grateful to Mel Kay for stepping into my shoes because I wanted to go to Mar-a-Lago to not only hear the president but also then to meet with him.
But I did say on the show the day before that incredibly the health insurance that covers Mrs. Stone and I was just without explanation.
Cancel.
And as most people know, I'm 70.
And my wife, I'm not going to say her age on the air because I'll hear all about it if I do.
But yes, she is a cancer survivor.
And yes, this is an enormous burden.
This has been extraordinarily stressful.
As we seek to replace our health insurance and get some explanation about why we were cancelled.
And therefore, on this show, I ask people who want to help us to go to MyPillow.com because when you make a purchase on MyPillow.com, well, yes, I get paid a commission.
And I was mocked for this today on some crazy left-wing website called Boing Boing.
They evidently think this is funny.
It's not funny, folks.
It's absolutely real.
So we're struggling to fill the gap, and that's why I ask you now to go to MyPillow, and when you do, use promo code STONE.
There you see it.
Promo code STONE.

Through my pillow was there last night.
He's a rock star, man.
People are lined up to get their picture taken with Mike Lindell.
He's a man of enormous courage and integrity.
He's like me.
He's living proof that Jesus Christ can do anything because by his own admission, as I read in his terrific biography, he went from Well, you really don't have the best pillow that's ever been made.
and entrepreneurs in America.
Could never have done that without the healing, mercy, and power of Jesus Christ.
But a lot of people think, well, MyPillow, I've got enough pillows.
Well, you really don't have the best pillow that's ever been made.
That's the new MyPillow 2.0.
This is the first pillow, new pillow, that Mike Lindell has introduced in 20 years.

$179.96.
Now with promo code STONE, a low, low discount price, a mere $59.98.

I wouldn't be asking if we did not need the help.
You can mock us if you want because right now we don't have health insurance.
Hopefully we'll get that resolved, but in the meantime, it means we have to pay for all of our medical treatment as well as the high cost of prescription drugs.
My wife is Thanks to Jesus Christ, a cancer survivor, and right now is an important time.
Stress is one of the worst triggerers of cancer.
So please help us out at MyPillow.com.
Now, I want to introduce a man who's going to become a regular here at the Stone Zone.
I anticipate, as prosecutors in Fulton County, Georgia, look at a politically motivated prosecution of Donald Trump there.
Federal Special Counsel Jack Smith considers federal charges against the President regarding either January 6th or his handling of sensitive government documents.
Gary Ostrow is going to be joining us as the official Stone's Own legal analyst and he joins us now.
Gary, welcome to the Stone's Own.
Thanks Roger, great to be here.
I'm going to run a little video here because one of the things I want to talk to you about is the possibility of a gag order.
I was on with Tucker Carlson the other night.
We haven't had a chance to run this.
Let's roll that short interview if we could.
So it's almost hard to believe that the Republican Party's leading presidential candidate, as of tonight, by 30 points, could be told by a judge that he will go to jail if he dares to defend himself in his own criminal case.
Could that actually happen?
Well, it happened to Roger Stone, and nobody seemed to care.
We did.
No one else did.
Roger Stone is a longtime Republican strategist, worked for Richard Nixon through the rest, up to and including Trump.
Roger Stone, thanks so much for coming on.
You're the first person we thought of because this happened to you.
And I remember people saying, well, Roger Stone's a troublemaker.
It's okay if he's not allowed to defend himself and CNN can attack him, but he can't fight back.
Maybe this will awaken people to how immoral this is.
Look, I think the idea that they might gag Donald Trump is really a testimony to his effectiveness as a counterpuncher.
He's used social media and his interviews to very effectively question the falsity of these charges, question the political motivations and funding of District Attorney Alvin Bragg, and to question the bias of this judge.
But more importantly, not only do I think the gag order would be unconstitutional, Nowhere does it say you lose your free speech rights if you're charged with a crime, but more importantly, it's election interference.
He is a legal candidate for the 2024 Republican nomination.
He's leading by closer to 40 points in the polls, and this is a very clear effort to try to break his momentum.
You can see in the polls and in the money that he is raising that the stronger the The harder they hit him, the more his support grows.
So I think cancelling him now, gagging him now, is a reaction to the way he has rebounded and actually benefited from what is a naked, partisan attack against him.
But to use the legal system to effect an attack like that is just beyond the pale in the beginning of the end.
I remember when Judge Amy Berman Jackson, who's completely out of control, did this to you, and the pretext was, well, if you talk in your own defense in public, you could influence the jury.
But she didn't gag CNN, which spent a year attacking you every day, or MSNBC, or the New York Times.
Like, this doesn't even make sense as a legal order.
Well, not only that, but she kept the gag order in my case in place after I was already convicted, after there was already a verdict.
I would have gone to jail under a gag order if President Trump hadn't seen the unjustness and ridiculousness of the charges against me.
By the way, there was never any evidence of Russian collusion, WikiLeaks collaboration, or...
Any other crime, as Robert Mueller admitted in his final long redacted report.
And those who say, well, the gag order would just be narrow.
It would only relate to these charges.
These charges are politically motivated.
This is part of the campaign against Donald Trump.
Yeah.
But if you can't speak in your own defense in public and only your critics have the freedom of speech.
I mean, at that point, darkness has descended.
And I don't think it's an overstatement.
Roger Stone, thank you.
Thank you, Tucker.
All right, we're going to- This is Roger Stone.
You know, Winston Churchill- Sorry about that.
Look, we're going to get to the question of a potential gag order, but first I'm going to ask Gary Ostrow, who is the new legal analyst for StoneZone.com, at StoneZone.live, You've now had a chance to examine the charges that heretofore only the New York Times, CNN, and Yahoo.com seemed to have had a copy of.
Can you give us your analysis of the charges against Trump?
Roger, to call it convoluted would be an understatement and I've seen my share of indictments and informations and reading over that, a whole lot of nothing.
What's 30 plus counts boils down to 11 transactions of invoices, vouchers, and checks that have to do with bookkeeping by the Trump campaign.
What's interesting among other things is that they're trying to allege that Donald Trump himself did the bookkeeping, which is absurd.
There's nobody who is the CEO of a billion dollar empire that does their own bookkeeping.
And for them to have to allege that just shows you what a stretch this prosecution And how politically motivated it is.
So, it appears to be, on the surface, when you have 30 plus counts, the masses are... I see people on social media talking about, well, it was hush money.
First of all, it's nothing illegal about paying somebody off with an NDA.
That happens 800,000 times a day and conducting routine business.
That's normal, it's lawful, and there's nothing about it that's illegal.
But you would think that Hush money, which is the term they keep throwing out in the media, would be a crime the way they're concentrating and focusing on it.
Nothing about it is criminal.
What's also interesting about this indictment is that the criminal enterprise that they're trying to present at the Trump Organization, or he himself represents, there's no underlying crime that they can articulate.
They don't even know what they're charging as an underlying crime that's behind These accounting issues, and that's all they are, are accounting issues of Trump reimbursing Michael Cohen, who allegedly paid Stormy Daniels, to not discuss something which is a completely routine, normal, lawful operation in the law and in business every single day.
So, and I wanted to comment on this whole gag thing that you made a great point.
The difference is that Trump's a presidential candidate and he's the biggest one With 80 million plus American supporters, if you believe the numbers, and they're even bigger now because they've created, they've martyred Donald Trump.
Now he's making, his contributions have exceeded $8 million in the last five or six days or seven days, which is more than he's ever made in contributions during any run that he's had previously.
So they are creating a monster and they just can't help themselves.
And Trump is being shut down.
It's going to have a chilling effect on his First Amendment rights.
And you can't shut down a presidential candidate without there being enormous fallout.
And I'm torn between seeing a gag order entered and how Trump might respond to that, because it's going to get ugly, depending on whose side of the aisle you're on.
Well, the judge did not issue such a gag order yesterday.
He did admonish Trump.
This is exactly what the judge in my case did, and warn him.
Trump was, in his remarks yesterday and today, critical of Alvin Bragg, continues to be critical of the signs of political bias by the judge.
Members of his family have done the same.
When I was gagged, by the way, my wife, my adult children, and my supporters were all also gagged.
Constitutionality of that is Really questionable.
I'm going to go on the record now of saying you may not have a gag order today, but as Trump more effectively continues to counterpunch, I see one down the road.
If he is charged federally, of which I think there's a reasonable probability, either in some fabricated crime in connection with January 6th or some other fabricated crime in connection with his handling of sensitive government documents, Not only is there a high probability that he would be gagged, but I can tell you from experience...
The government then is allowed to also give you a list of people that you are prohibited from having any contact whatsoever with, either email, phone call, any communication whatsoever as a condition of your prohibition.
And they don't have to justify the people on that list.
So Trump could be prohibited, for example, from speaking to his campaign manager.
He could be prohibited from speaking to his campaign finance chairman.
This would have a chilling effect, to say the least, on the overall presidential campaign.
All right, Gary, you have defended a lot of clients.
You have a great track record in the courts.
You do both criminal and civil litigation.
If you were Donald Trump's defense lawyer right now, what would be your first move?
Well, the obvious first move is going to be to file a motion to dismiss.
One of the concerns among many, or countless concerns, is that the fix is in.
And much like in your persecution, Judge Amy Berman was not, well, she was selected and improperly based on a conspiracy theory that didn't exist.
And that judge, we all know, we don't have to articulate any further how predisposed Amy Berman was as a judge presiding over your federal persecution.
The same thing exists with Trump's Prosecution, even though it's a state prosecution, at least now, that particular judge was not randomly assigned, which is typically how judges are assigned to criminal cases.
In your case, they rationalized that Amy Berman, because of the alleged rutching collusion fiasco, that she had jurisdiction because of the Mueller investigation.
So they were going to, so they did handpick her actually to persecute you from the bench.
And the identical thing is happening with Trump.
This particular judge.
Um, has a reputation and a history of backing, uh, well, at least his family.
Anyway, he's a big Democratic donor.
He's a big Clinton supporter.
He's a big Kamala Harris supporter.
These judges should not be sitting on these cases that are political in nature.
They're predisposed.
Everybody knows it.
Everybody knows this is a political persecution.
It's nothing more.
And it's a shotgun.
They're shooting everything against the wall, the seaworld stick.
And as much as they can shoot, shut him down during his presidential run.
For a repeat.
And we all know, by the way, while I'm at it, that he won the 2020 election.
It was stolen, like Carrie Lake was in Arizona and in Georgia.
They're still stealing because they're getting away with it.
And just like Bolsonaro in Brazil, as long as they can steal and get away with it, because that's the nature of how they operate, they're going to continue to do it.
And I'm concerned because in Brazil, millions of people took to the streets.
And still Bolsonaro fled and Lula, a convicted felon who got out of serving a 15 year prison term where they reduced it, is running that show now.
And the same thing, it's identical.
There's no resistance.
There's no organized resistance.
When the people took to the streets of Brazil, I thought there was a good chance that Bolsonaro would remain in power.
And by the way, they pulled the same exact routine with stealing the election there.
He's the Trump of Brazil.
He's just like Trump.
He's truly for the country and the people of Brazil and he got screwed just like Trump did.
I think this is a very, very key point though, and therefore my friend Alex Jones said this yesterday when I was on his show.
We have to really be very careful to avoid some kind of false flag operation.
I can see, I know why people are very angry, I know why people are very upset, but if you choose to protest, if you choose to join some public protest, you must keep it peaceful, you must keep it legal, you must keep it civil, no matter how angry you may be.
You should not be goaded into violence.
Because that violence, that lawlessness, will be flipped around and used against President Trump and leaders of the America First movement.
I had reporters from the New York Times saying, what kind of protests do you have planned?
MSNBC says you're going to turn Trump's trial into a circus.
No, I have no such plans.
I don't even know when he might get to trial, but I don't really plan to be there and I'm not planning any protests.
I state my views here on the Stone Zone every day.
I have a First Amendment right to do that, but I specifically renounce violence or lawlessness in the face of an enormous repression going on in the country.
Let's be very clear about that.
Gary, do you think that there is a chance, assuming that a motion to dismiss fails, what are their chances of asking for a different judge?
I'm sure there's going to be an attempt for a change in venue.
If not, you can't forum shop.
You can ask, but you're not going to get a different judge.
You can move to disqualify this judge.
Those motions are rarely granted, but we all know that the fix is in.
We all know that this judge is predisposed.
We all know Trump's not going to get a fair shake.
And we all know that they're going to be asking for the right and just thing.
And we all know it ain't going to happen.
So it's going to be.
Very interesting, in any event, to see what happens and how this plays out, how Trump handles this prospective no-gag order, which is looming, I agree, around the corner.
There's going to be an impasse.
At some point, there's going to be a standoff.
And he's not the kind of guy, as you know very well, Roger, the more you throw at him, the harder he comes.
And they just keep throwing shit, and he keeps coming.
So I'm glued to my set, I'll tell you that much.
Well he is, without any question, a counterpuncher.
You're right, in my case, federal prosecutors argued that my case was a related case to the case of, I think it was 17 alleged Russian hackers who... So they conformed, so they can judge pick?
Well they specifically said that they would introduce evidence against me that was gleaned from search warrants in that case.
Of course they never did Produce any such thing because no such thing ever existed in that other case never even got to the discovery phase.
So we'd even know how legitimate a case it was.
Anyway, I'm not here to relitigate the past.
We're here to talk about Donald Trump.
I think ironically, from a strictly political point of view, these state prosecutions are far more long-term problematic than a federal prosecution.
If special counsel Jack Smith should ultimately file charges against Donald Trump in connection with January 6 or in connection with his disposition and handling Of course, if he was elected, he could immediately pardon himself.
By the way, you don't have to have gone to trial or even be convicted of a crime.
In fact, you don't have to be charged with a crime to get a presidential pardon.
election.
And of course, if he was elected, he could immediately pardon himself.
By the way, you don't have to have gone to trial or even be convicted of a crime.
In fact, you don't have to be charged with a crime to get a presidential pardon.
President Gerald Ford pardoned former President Richard Nixon.
Nixon had not formally been charged with any crime at the time of that pardon.
Ford turned out to be right when he said no former president could ever get a fair trial, particularly in that atmosphere.
You said something else earlier that is absolutely true.
Bill Clinton paid Pauli Jones $850,000 to buy her silence.
He was never prosecuted.
So I think the state charges are more problematic.
Trump would have no ability to pardon himself.
I could see Donald Trump running for president while under federal indictment, in which case, in all honesty, he would wear it as a badge.
He would wear it as an example of the persecution and the weaponization of the criminal justice system.
It would probably become the driving issue In the campaign, what do you think?
Well, there is a big difference between a state and a federal prosecution.
First of all, had he been indicted federally, that case would move much more quickly, and I can even say more efficiently.
But they're going to exploit every aspect of this political prosecution in every way to damage his prospects of not only running, but maintaining his candidacy for the Republican nomination as well as the presidency.
But I want to expand a little bit on your previous guests who made some interesting comments about what's going to happen.
And I alluded to this before.
They're going to cheat again.
And the way they cheat is interesting because they do it like a science.
They wait till the numbers are in so they know how much they have to cheat.
Because if you cheat without knowing what the final numbers are, you might not cheat enough.
So as we've seen demonstrated in the last in the recall election, in the last election presidential, they waited till the numbers were in.
And then, of course, they had all the technical issues and the lights going out and the doors getting locked and the windows getting closed and all the other bullshit.
And they they we know where they pulled it out from, but they waited for the tallies to come in.
So they knew exactly what they had to edge Trump with to win.
That's how they operate.
And they're going to do the same thing.
You know why, Roger?
Because they get away with it.
And what's at stake is control the entire planet because this country needs to be taken out.
And I've been talking about this on social media for seven years.
This is the new world order.
This is what's going on.
The dollar is done.
The food shortages are here.
The transgender movement is here.
The Marxist Bolshevik lunatics are taking over.
It's all happening at one time and this is not, this is all by design.
And they need to get rid of Trump because everybody or anybody who thinks he's part of the swamp, just based on this resistance alone and this continuous, relentless beating that he's been getting since taking the escalator down in Trump Tower.
There's no way this guy is one of them, and that's why this is happening, because he's an outsider.
And he truly cares for this country, unlike who we have in office today, who are literally, day by day, minute by minute, dismantling whatever was left of this country in terms of its history, tradition, and culture.
Every single day is disappearing.
And quite frankly, it's sickening.
Well, what you say is absolutely true.
We saw this in Arizona.
So in Arizona, Carrie Lake's campaign in the Republican primary very wisely decided to make their stand on the actual day of the primary with live voting.
Therefore, those who might manipulate the system against her didn't know how much they had to steal.
And they were completely outflanked on primary day.
Although it's interesting that we still stayed up late at night watching the epically corrupt Maricopa County until they finally threw in the towel and recognized that she won there as well as every other county in the state.
Then, however, on Election Day, when Carrie Lake's campaign, I think, very wisely pursued the exact same strategy as trying to marshal her votes, not in early voting, not in mail-in voting.
But on Election Day, they thwarted that by purposely sending ballots that would not work within the tabulators into the overwhelmingly Republican districts in Maricopa County.
Very clever, extraordinarily corrupt.
By the way, I saw Carrie Lake last night.
I'm incredibly impressed with her.
I think that she is the most talented communicator I've seen, well, since Ronald Reagan, to be honest, and I think Despite this setback in Arizona, she has a great, great future as a leader for her state and a leader for this country.
I guarantee you this, she's not giving up.
There have been some positive legal developments there in Arizona.
We had Mark Fincham on the show last week to talk about that.
The Supreme Court in the state seems to be committed to allowing a check of the signature of verification in Maricopa County, but that's only if those who have the data haven't destroyed it or refused to turn it over.
This is Kafkaesque in terms of the corruption surrounding the entire situation.
All right, we're going to have to leave it there.
Why would it be any different than the courts ignoring and denying and rejecting the prospect of voter fraud with Trump?
Why is it going to be any different in Arizona?
It's not.
And I don't want to sound like I don't have hope, but I don't have hope for Carrie Lake in Arizona.
I think she's great, but her day, she needs to move on, maybe run for Senate.
I don't know, but they got away with it.
They pulled it off and got away with it.
And I guess life goes on.
Well, I continue to pray for a just result.
I would not be unhappy to see her in the US Senate, don't get me wrong.
But look, Carrie Lake's not just another politician looking for a job.
And therefore, I think she's deeply committed to seeing this legal process through to the very end, even if it doesn't come out in a just way.
And then she can consider running for the U.S. Senate or some other office.
But I do think that the future of the Republican Party lies in people like Carrie Lake, other than our extraordinarily disappointing governor, Ron DeSantis, who was elevated to the governorship by Donald Trump single handedly, unilaterally.
But now seems to have, unfortunately, turned on him and is without any question whatsoever planning on challenging him, despite the nosedive he's taken in the polls, despite the the the the disastrous results of his.
faux campaign, which he has disguised as a book tour, I think he will not be deterred.
And as I've said here and elsewhere, if he chooses to run against Donald Trump, if he chooses to get in a cage match with the champ, he's going to get beat like a drum.
So there you have it, Gary Ostrow.
