DAILY TRUTH - The Dangerous Progression of Sin

Daily Truth host challenges the notion that God lacks evidence, citing Romans chapter 1 to argue creation provides undeniable proof. He refutes the idea that ignorance causes rebellion, asserting instead that inherent human sinfulness darkens hearts and suppresses truth through unrighteous deeds. Consequently, the episode concludes that rejecting divine revelation stems not from a lack of information, but from a deliberate choice to hate God despite knowing Him clearly. God Has Not Failed 00:04:32
Hey guys, real quick before we get started, I have a small request.
If you've been blessed by our content and you like this show, would you take just a brief moment and leave us a five star review?
This is quite possibly the most effective thing that you can do to ensure that this content gets out to as many people as possible.
Thanks.
Jesus said, Man cannot live on bread alone, but from every word that proceeds from the mouth of God.
You're listening to Daily Truth.
Now, notice that in verse 21, it says that they became futile in their thinking and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Brothers and sisters, we must recognize there is a progression to sin.
There is a progression to sin.
Don't let anyone tell you that God has failed.
This is what the non believer says.
Their narrative is that if there is a God, He has failed to do His part.
He has not provided sufficient evidence of His existence, His divine nature, and eternal power.
He has been vague.
He has been mysterious.
That God has failed to clearly produce and display evidence regarding Himself.
And therefore, because of God's failure, I was ignorant.
And not a culpable ignorance, but innocently ignorant.
And from this place of innocent ignorance, eventually, I began to rebel.
Because if there is no God, then there is no rebellion against that God.
Romans chapter 1 says that all of that narrative is a lie.
The Bible says this God has not failed.
And how dare man climb up into the judgment seat and begin to accuse God?
Man does not get to judge God.
Man will be judged by God.
God has not failed to sufficiently provide evidence that clearly and plainly speaks to his divine nature and eternal power.
God is faithful, he cannot fail.
He does all things right and good and perfectly.
So God has not failed, but rather been faithful.
To speak through what he has made in such a way, so clearly, so plainly, that all men are without excuse.
And that the reason that man does not listen is not because he is innocently ignorant and eventually becomes rebellious.
The Bible teaches the exact opposite man is rebellious and eventually becomes ignorant.
Notice that verse 21 says that they became futile in their thinking.
And that their foolish hearts became, is the implication, darkened.
See, ignorance stems from rebellion, and not the other way around.
People will always claim rebellion as a product of ignorance, and ignorance as a product of God's failure.
But the Bible says that when they do this, they are lying and suppressing the truth in deeds of unrighteousness.
And so we must say, In the most loving way possible, you're a liar.
God is clearly seen.
Clearly.
And you know him.
You're not ignorant and therefore becoming rebellious.
In your heart of hearts, you hate God and are rebellious.
And from your rebellion, you're becoming increasingly ignorant.
Thanks so much for listening.
But, real quick, before you go, do us a small favor take a moment and leave us a five star review if you enjoyed the show.
This is undoubtedly the best way that you can help us get this biblically faithful content to as many people as possible.
Thanks so much.
