Lester Holt did whiteface and nobody said s#!t (preview)

Today we're ashamed to find out that this country pays its UPS drivers more than US soldiers thanks to a viral tweet and a woman does transphobia so hard she develops an abscess when a hospital wont guarantee that no trans nurses will be attending to her finally, a facebook woman goes to target in blackface to yell things she saw on facebook in an obvious case of mental distress (facebook poisoning) and we learn about how soft a generation is if it doesn't tolerate blackface Sign up at http://patreon.com/miniondeathcult to listen to this and hundreds of other bonus episodes in your podcast app or browser

What a terrible career advice also.
Just like, hey, so I don't really respect your job, so I don't think you should ask for more money.
That's my advice to you as a career coach.
That's such a shitty way to be.
Yeah, or my career advice is for you to go to your employer, the U.S.
government, and say, well, UPS workers make this much.
Yeah.
I mean, maybe that maybe that'll work.
I don't think so.
I do think it's funny that there's like.
An organized, trained.
Like violently trained workforce consisting of tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of people, and they are politically immune from using that.
to benefit themselves, except in the case of, you know, doing like sexual assaults or extrajudicial killings overseas, or maybe, maybe you get to plunder something.
But yeah, you would think that they would be like, that American soldiers would be like cops or something to where they're, they know their own strength and they know their own, the leverage that they hold.
But I guess if you, if you try to, like, if you just refuse any order, you go to prison, right?
As a soldier.
I mean, pretty much.
I think that's pretty much the deal.
But you're right, though.
It's like.
I think it's just because there's so many because they are so unorganized, like I don't know.
Cops, you get some autonomy.
You get to be one guy sometimes, but you're always in a barrack or something like that.
You'd think that would foster solidarity, but there's still this... I don't know.
I guess they're just convinced that they're making more money because they're not spending money?
Is that part of it?
Housing and food is included, so I guess you could factor that, too.
But you know who else got housing and food, Tony?
Oh, very true.
Very true.
Yeah, uh, my ancestors.
Yeah, Tony's ancestors.
Yeah, the Irish ones.
Now, slaves.
Yeah, slaves.
The slaves in your ancestry, the Irish.
Yeah, so I guess you could factor that into it.
But no, it's brainwashing.
It's like, I mean, to join the military, you don't have to already be psychotically American.
You can just be doing it literally because you, I guess, feel like you have no other options or just do it like cynically to get firearms training or something like that.
But I imagine those are The minority.
I imagine most people going into the military do so because they want to because they believe in the project of the military.
So, yeah, you don't really have that incentive to like leverage for more personal benefit.
And I think contrary, you know, I agree with all these people that like the military is so important and the soldiers are doing providing such Such a vital service to not just Americans, but humanity.
So I think you should have to do it for free if you're a soldier.
I think you should recognize the duty you're carrying out.
And to ask for money is just absurd.
We all know that we need to be occupying 50 different bases in Africa.
We all know that that's of vital importance.
And to ask for money for doing that is just crass and selfish, I think.
You should be.
You should be so lucky.
You should be so lucky, you know, like it is a privilege and honor to be there.
And so, yeah, maybe maybe think about that.
Maybe check your privilege.
The expectation of you as a UPS driver is like never to have to murder somebody.
Yeah.
But that's kind of like you kind of are accepting that when you join the military, you're kind of saying, I'm down to get shot at and shoot at.
Totally, you know and which is not something you're signing up for it's not something I'm signing up for now You might think well if I'm facing a higher risk of getting killed or whatever and I don't know I bet there's probably more killed Delivery drivers than there are u.s.
Soldiers now at this point leave it.
Yeah, just didn't you know on a year-to-year basis but If that is, you know, if you think that that's like, well, I'm willing to lay down my life and isn't that worth something, you know, in terms of a paycheck or whatever.
And it's like, well, but you're also getting a license to kill.
You're also getting, you know, all this free reign to just make the Middle East your violent playground.
And billionaires pay like millions of dollars to do that.
Yeah, you know how much that would cost a regular person?
You gotta factor that into your benefits package, license to kill.
That's, I mean, shit.
That's price, that's essentially priceless.
Yeah.
