| Everything that we're telling ourselves about policing and about the The selfless role that police play in maintaining law and order, which sounds like a right-wing thing to say, it sounds like a far-right thing to say, but that's kind of a thing that normal people believe. | |

| Normal people believe there's a problem with policing, 100%, but they don't believe that that problem is foundational to the institution of policing. | |
| Every but every every person that says well, how are you gonna live without police? | |

| Even the people who are even the people who are like we need accountability We need to fire like like we need to fire murdering cops like even people who are outside marching for Black Lives Matter Do not think that there's like a foundational racist, a foundational classist role that the police play. | |

| I know that by saying just by saying Trump 2020 that is like That is a shot across the bow. | |
| That's something that's going to trigger you or that's something that's going to be like a sign of contempt. | |
| I am saying this as a sign of contempt for you, the person that I am supposed to be, you know, quote, protecting and serving or whatever. | |
| Aside from like the racial connotations of just like supporting Trump in a black neighborhood or whatever, aside from all that, This person, this cop, is like laying bare the fact that he doesn't give a fuck about the public. | |
| In like a larger sense. | |
| The specific sense is like, yeah this dude is a fucking racist and he's saying this to like trigger the black and brown people and poor people in this neighborhood or whatever. | |
| But the larger sense is like, this guy has contempt for the people he's supposed to be protecting and serving. | |
| That's the larger sense. | |
| And that's what breaks this like, you know, noble idea. | |
| The idea of the noble police officer. | |
| And that's what can't stand. | |
| Like the institution of the police force can't... | |
| Maintain. |
