	A luxury Swiss peace summit was a flop.
	They were charging staying in hotels with $2,000 a night rates.
	Absolutely outrageous, but standard for NATO.
	They love to indulge themselves with taxpayer money.
	To make peace, it's better to gather in a five-star resort equipped with all comforts.
	Western diplomacy loves luxury and the pleasures of life.
	To discuss peace between Russia and Ukraine, it was decided to hold a summit in increasingly less neutral Switzerland.
	And of course, without Russia participating, the summit took place at the legendary Bergenstock Resort in Lucerne, a little corner of paradise for the delegation present at the summit, stuffed for billionaires.
	Room stays cost between $1,500 and $2,000 per night per person.
	Lucerne Resort covers an area of 10,000 meters square, features three private spa rooms, 15 treatment rooms, a fully equipped fitness area, an indoor swimming pool, and two outdoor pools, one of which is an infinity one with breathtaking views of the lake of the four cantons.
	The catering service is also enchanting, The rates to take advantage of international cuisine vary between $200 and $400 per meal.
	In short, if you have to play at making peace, it's better to do it with a full belly and maximum comfort.
	Meanwhile, Russia derides the outcome of the peace talks held without Russia.
	How absurd is that?
	Moscow.
	Reuters said Monday that a Swiss-hosted conference on the Ukraine war had produced negligible results and showed the futility of holding talks without Moscow.
	The Kremlin was commenting on a weekend summit where Western powers and their allies denounced Russia's invasion of Ukraine But failed to persuade major non-aligned countries to join their final statement, including, by the way, the two most populous nations in the world, India and China.
	Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the results of the meeting to which Russia was not invited were, quote, close to zero.
	In a daily briefing with reporters, Peskov was asked if the fact that countries such as Hungary, Serbia and Turkey had taken part in the meeting and signed the statement would spoil Russia's relations with them.
	No, he said, it won't spoil them.
	We will, of course, take into account a position that these countries have taken.
	This is important to us and we'll continue to explain our reasoning to them.
	Many of them, and this was a common point of view, confirmed their understanding of the absence of prospects for any serious substantive discussion without the presence of our country.
	If we talk about the overall effectiveness of the meeting, it was close to zero.
	President Vladimir Putin said last week, Russia was willing to end the war, but he set out conditions for Ukraine, renouncing its NATO ambition, withdrawing its troops from the four regions claimed by Russia, that Kiev rejected its tantamount to capitulation.
	You'd think they hadn't fought a war and lost it.
	They're acting so arrogant.
	Of course, we understand perfectly and time will come when it will be necessary to talk to Russia.
	The Ukrainian foreign minister, Dmitry Kabula, said, but our position is very clear.
	We would not allow Russia to speak in the language of ultimatums like it's speaking now.
	How absurd is that?
	Meanwhile, they're having problems.
	Conscription And Ukraine is turning out to be a very serious problem.
	They're actually dragging men off buses and forcing them to fight.
	Not going down well.

	Is that going to happen in the United States if they want to start sending young Americans to fight in Ukraine against Russia?

	There's no business we're there at all in the first place.

	It is extraordinary that Russian intel failed to inform Putin that a slowpoke war would permit the West to become involved, thereby turning it into a war between NATO and Russia.
	Putin still speaks up negotiating a peace with Ukraine despite the fact that Ukraine, NATO, and Washington I made it completely clear.
	The only terms of peace are Russian withdrawal from the Ukraine, including Crimea, payment for damages and dead Ukrainians, and acceptance of NATO membership or Ukraine.
	One can only wonder at the complete lack of realism as the West brings war to Russia.
	Pepe Escobar has a wonderful piece, The Summer of Living Dangerously, That appeared in Oon's review.
	The botocracy believes that afterward they can buy the whole thing for a pittance while flies are still laying eggs in European carcasses.
	So the Petit Roy in Paris, that's Macron, was particularly crushed in the European polls.

	They're only coinciding with British elections on July 11th, and only a few days before the slow-burning urban catastrophe that will be the Olympics in Paris.
	Paris salons are ablaze with intrigue on why the little Rothschild stooge with a Napoleon complex is throwing all his toys out of the pram, because now he's not getting what he wants.
	After all, What he really craves is to become a war president, together with a cadaver in the White House, Starmer in the UK, Rutte in Netherlands, the toxic Medusa, Von der Lugen in Brussels, Tusk in Poland, without having to answer to the French people.
	It's nearly certain that petite Roy will be facing the real prospect of becoming a lame dog.

	Compare that with the shrinking G7 meeting later this week in Bougalow in southern Italy.
	The same old song, from a tough new warning to Chinese banks, don't do business with Russia or else, to vociferous threats against a China-Russia strategic partnership.
	And last but not least, extra plotting to skim interest from the massive frozen stolen Russian assets with the intent of selling them to country 404.
	And of course, Ukraine.
	The toxic Medusa himself announced country 404 will receive 1.5 billion euros of the income from stolen Russian assets from the EU in July, 90% to buy weapons.
	This is all a calamity.
	Taking those frozen assets, which was wrong to begin with.
	Now, parceling it out, no wonder other nations in the world can't do a financial transaction with the United States, which are now being politicized to the extent you know that.
	If you actually cross-sort politically with the United States, you may have your assets frozen.
	Who wants to do that?
	Meanwhile, Responsible Statecraft asks, how much did the right really gain in Europe?
	The center will hold in Brussels after the Parliament elections.
	A real story is France and Germany.
	The elections were the European Parliament gains for parties belonging to both the populist far-right factions, European conservatives and reformationists, and the more radical identity and democracy group.
	Parties of populist or far-right came in first in five countries.
	France, Italy, Austria, Hungary, and Slovakia.
	In Germany, Poland, and the Netherlands.
	Such parties made a strong second place showing.
	These elections produced highly unsettling developments in France and Germany.
	The two most influential EU member countries in France.
	The party of Marine Le Pen's national rally won over 30% of the vote, twice the support gained by Macron's liberal renaissance party.
	As a result, Macron called a snap national parliamentary election for the end of the month, opening a possibility of cohabitation with a far-right prime minister for the remainder of Macron's final term in Germany.
	The far-right alternative for Deutschland took just Under 16% of the vote, a second place finish behind the Christian Democrats at 30, and ahead of the Social Democrats at 14, Greens at 12, and FDP, the Liberals, at 5.
	These three latter parties form Germany's governing coalition, and they're confined 30%, showing it exposes deep popular disaffection with those in power.

	enters the European Parliament with six percent.
	Most of this, of course, was a result of opposition to the open immigration policies that have been taking place there.
	Meanwhile, Europe's elections, as the viewer Patrick Lawrence on who saw.
	There was an election last week in the European Parliament which voters across the European Union administered a sound whack to the technocrats, market fundamentalists and liberal authoritarians who now hold power against much of the continent.

	They made use of the legislative chambers in Strasbourg to articulate principal positions on Gaza, Ukraine, and other such questions.
	But there's never been any question of the EU Parliament having the power to legislate the Union's direction.
	Parenthetically, Daley and Wallace were voted out of office in last week's elections.
	Just bear in mind, we can anticipate what happened there may well be reflected here.
	Meanwhile, Alastair Cook writes, European mutiny at the illiberal order.

	It's impossible for me to look at the photos of families killed, such as the mother, father, and three small children murdered as they sheltered in their home in kubots near Oz, and not think of my own children.
	This was just one of Hamas's countless acts of terror.
	in a litany of brutality and in humanity that, yes, brings to mind the worst of ISIS.
	Not to raise an inconvenient question, but how could his stepfather have survived being in three of these concentration camps if they actually were centers for extermination?
	He must have more lives than a cat.

	A barrage of missiles this week exchanged between Israel and Mosul in Lebanon and made U.S. a officials increasingly concerned that the escalation could spiral the war-torn region into a broader conflict between the U.S.

	Meanwhile, eight soldiers killed in Rafa explosion, the deadliest incident for the IDF in six months.
	Yes, these were Israeli soldiers.
	Eight killed in a blast in southern Gaza Strip's Rafa, Saturday morning.
	Military announced what marked the deadliest incident for the IDF in the enclave since January.
	Only one of the soldiers was named.
	The families of the other seven were notified.
	Their names were due to be released later.
	According to an initial IDF probe, the troops were all killed inside an armored combat engineer vehicle.
	In other words, this is like an armored personnel carrier, and Hamas took it out and they all died.
	The soldiers had been driving in a convoy at around 5 a.m.
	on Saturday following an overnight offensive against Hamas.
	During which troops under the 401st Armored Brigade killed some 50 gunmen.

	The mischief goes on between the time these unconstitutional acts are passed into law and the time they're nullified by the court.
	AIPAC-funded House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries Friday demanded Congress immediately pass the Anti-Defamation League-backed Countering Anti-Semitism Act to silence criticism of Israel and police Americans' online speech.
	The dangerous explosion of anti-Semitic incidents in New York City and the nation Required decisive action at every level of government, Jeffrey said on X, without referencing any such incident.

	And by the way, so what's interesting was that it also, it came out in that time, that story about Pizarre being liberated by a black division from an extermination camp, just so happened, how coincidental, there was a lot of racial tension in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, just about the same time, in the there was a lot of racial tension in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, just about Late 80s, early 90s.
	And it was right after there was a whole racial conflict where one of the rabbis from the Chabad Lubavitch organization in Brooklyn ran down and killed a black boy.
	And so there was a lot of tension.
	And what I'm pointing out is that that was a point at which the so-called black Jewish alliance was in great danger of splitting.
	And that's when Pizarro came out with this story.
