Get ready for an outstanding entertainment program.
The Jimmy Dore show.
Hey, this is Jimmy.
Who's this?
This is Brad Pitt.
Oh, hello, Mr. Pitt.
Thanks for calling the show.
Wow, you have a show.
That's cool, man.
Yeah, this is the Jimmy Dore show.
Why are you calling, if I may ask?
Well, you see, Al Pacino gave me this phone number.
He said, call this guy.
He'll talk to you for a little while and then put it on the internet.
So you've never heard of me?
Oh, hell no.
Anyway, you probably know me as an actor, but my true passion is being a celebrity.
Is that so?
Yes.
I'm not going to lie.
Being famous is great.
But with movies and TV shut down, that means celebrity shit shut down also.
Red carpet shit, premieres, awards shows, all that shit.
Being publicly famous is a challenge right now.
These must be very difficult times for you, Brad Pitt.
This is easily the worst thing that's ever happened to me.
I'm very sorry.
Thank you, phone man.
I appreciate that.
So, yeah, I'm doing whatever I can for attention.
Even calling random phone numbers given to me by other celebrities.
Well, we're happy to talk to you, Mr. Pitt.
Well, of course you are.
Who wouldn't be?
I'm fucking Brad Pitt.
And I'm doing random shit like the fast times at Ridgemont High Table Read over Zoom.
Yeah, what was that about?
I don't know, man.
They said it was for charity or some shit, but really it was so people could look at our famous faith.
Okay.
Also, Jennifer Aniston was doing it.
That gets the gossip machine all revved up.
That's a lot of attention right there.
So you're not getting back together with her then.
No, man.
Just to tease.
you know, for attention.
Yeah.
Oh.
Oh.
Hell.
For attention.
I understand you're dating someone, though, who is married.
Yeah.
Her husband agreed to an open marriage.
Oh, I see.
He kind of fucked up, didn't he?
I would say so.
Yeah.
Hey.
Yeah.
I'm going to be all cool and modern and open-minded.
Agree to an open marriage.
Then here comes Brad Pitt.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Who's that coming down the street?
Looks like old Brad Pitt.
Uh-huh.
Guess what?
Now I'm fucking your wife.
It's Brad Pitt who's doing that.
And no, you may not watch.
My God.
That's literally every man's worst nightmare.
Including mine.
And I'm Brad Pitt.
Yes, you are.
Well, phone man, it's been real.
You're welcome for the chat.
I'd say anytime, but I'd be lying.
Hey, when I need some attention, I'll call you up.
Sound good?
That sounds great, Matt.
name's Jimmy, by the way.
Hi, everybody.
Welcome to this week's Jimmy Dore Show.
Let's get to the jokes before we get to the jokes, shall we?
I don't know if you saw last night's debate, but that was like a Walmart board meeting, wasn't it?
Not a single thing was said that would benefit Americans, and two ugly employees nearly had a stroke.
Joe Biden was full of more number ones and number twos than Jerry Nadler's trousers.
Hey, no one can predict what the next great American industry is going to be, but I have a strong feeling it might involve a lot of junkyards.
Years ago, cops in Ferguson were attacking peaceful protesters with tear gas.
Can't wait for that return to normalcy.
You know, the problem with borrowing money from China is 20 minutes later, you regret writing this joke.
Today, there are thousands of students in American schools who can't even point out London on a map of New Zealand.
You ever notice how National Coffee Day is always followed by I can't get off the toilet day?
It's a true story.
Hey, what's coming up on today's show?
Trump's taxes reveal a rigged system that must be dismantled.
Plus, Nancy Pelosi, in an unbelievable interview, exposes the political theater of America's two-party scam.
And we're going to go through the presidential debate and find kernels of truth in a morass of lies.
Plus, we got phone calls from Joe Biden, Chuck Schumer, Barack Obama, and Brad Pitt.
Plus, a lot, lot more.
That's today on The Jimmy Dorn Show.
Here's the debate last night.
Here we go.
It was fantastic.
I don't know if you saw it, but I'm going to give you what I here's what I I'm going to tell you what I think about.
Here's the problem with the debate last night.
Joe Biden didn't have a knockout punch, didn't even have a jab.
Why?
Because he doesn't have a policy that's actually going to help people's lives.
That's why.
What he needed to do is turn to Donald Trump and say, I'm for the Green New Deal.
We're just going to add millions of jobs and I'm going to give everybody health care through Medicare for all in the middle of this pandemic.
And we're going to end those wars and put that money back.
He couldn't say any of that.
He couldn't say anything because he's already promised to increase the funding for the cops.
He's already promised to increase funding for the military.
He's already promised to veto health care for you in the middle of a pandemic.
So that's why Joe Biden lost that debate.
That's why the country lost.
That's why the debate, this is what the, after four years of Trump, this is what the Democrats came up with, a walking death rattle with no policies to get you to vote.
They're still reaching out to Republicans and not the hundred million people who don't vote and not progressives, not environmentalists, not socialists, nobody.
You know, they're reaching out through, they're reaching out to Newt Gingrich's wife.
Here we go.
It's from last night.
The current, I was asking you, sir, about masks.
Well, masks, masks make a big difference.
His own head of the CDC said, if we just wore masks between now, if everybody wore masks in social distance between now and January, we'd probably save up to 100,000 lives.
It matters.
And they've also said the opposite.
They've also said the opposite.
And no serious person said the opposite.
No serious person.
Dr. Fauci.
Dr. Fauci said the opposite.
He did not say the opposite.
I want to ask you, we've got a little bit more than a minute left in this segment.
Masks are not good.
then he changed his mind he said mask good i'm not okay with masks i want to ask you about one last subject because.
So that's the rare moment when two wrong people actually say something right.
So they are both right.
Watch this.
Well, first of all, Dr. Fauci Trump is correct that Dr. Fauci did tell people not to wear masks.
And keep in mind, when he's telling people this, he knows he's lying.
Right now in the United States, people should not be walking around with masks.
You're sure of it because people are listening really closely to this.
Right now, people should not be walking.
There's no reason to be walking around with a mask.
When you're in the middle of an outbreak, wearing a mask might make people feel a little bit better, and it might even block a droplet, but it's not providing the perfect protection that people think that it is.
And often there are unintended consequences.
People keep fiddling with the mask and they keep touching their face.
And can you get some schmutz sort of staying inside there?
Of course, of course.
But when you that's Dr. Fauci lying, even after.
Are you sure about this?
Of course.
He's lying.
He knew that you should wear masks and he lied on purpose, just like Trump.
Why did Dr. Fauci lie on purpose?
Here's his excuse of why he was lying about the effectiveness of masks.
Here's what he says.
So you shouldn't discount that.
Now, getting back to your first question, which was what about a month or so or two or three ago when people were saying you don't really need to wear a mask?
Well, the reason for that is that we were concerned, the public health community, and many people were saying this, were concerned that it was at a time when personal protective equipment, including the N95 masks and the surgical masks, were in very short supply.
And we wanted to make sure that the people, namely the healthcare workers, who were brave enough to put themselves in harm ways to take care of people who you know were infected with the coronavirus and the danger of them getting infected, we did not want them to be without the equipment that they needed.
So there was not enthusiasm about going out and everybody buying a mask or getting a mask.
We were afraid that that would deter away from the people who really needed it.
So right now, unequivocally, the recommendation is when you're out there, particularly if you're in a situation where there's active infection, keep the distance physically and wear a mask.
So although there appears to be some contradiction of you were saying this then, and why are you saying this now?
Actually, the circumstances have changed.
So what he's saying is, so people are saying, you appeared to you were contradicting yourself.
You were saying don't wear masks.
Now you're saying they are to wear masks.
Why is that?
He says, because the circumstances has changed.
No, this circumstance.
So what he's saying is, I wasn't telling the truth.
Now the circumstances have changed.
Now I can tell the truth.
He's not saying I was telling the truth before.
Now circumstances have changed and it's changed its truth.
The truth has always been the same.
You're supposed to wear masks during a pandemic.
He lied about it.
Then, when there was enough masks for the hospital workers, he decided to tell the truth because the circumstances changed.
Not that the circumstances changed the truth.
The truth was always the truth.
You're supposed to wear a mask.
He's a liar.
This is the guy heading up our pandemic.
This guy and Trump.
And you wonder why 200,000 people died?
He told people not to wear a mask.
And he was lying.
The guy should be in prison.
And everybody thinks he's the great guy because sometimes he corrects Trump.
Do you see how low the bar is for the left in America?
Do you see how low the bar is for Democrats and liberals?
They are not the left.
So Joe Biden, wrong about that and right about that.
Trump, isn't that amazing when they can both.
So watch here.
So now, so let's move on to the Green New Deal segment.
This is freaking.
Watch Joe Biden.
Economy.
I mean, the Green New Deal and the idea of what your environmental Chinese will do.
The Green New Deal will pay for itself as we move forward.
You're not going to build plants that, in fact, are great polluting plants.
Pardon me?
You support that?
No, I don't support the Green New Deal.
The Green New Deal is going to pay for itself, man, as you go forward.
You support it?
No.
What is wrong with this guy?
I mean, the Green New Deal is great.
I mean, I don't support it.
What?
What's the question?
What's the question?
Oh, well, that's a big statement.
I accept what you just said.
The radical left.
I support the Biden plan that I put forward.
Even Chris Wallace knew that was a swing and a miss.
And also, I guess Trump thinks it's radical to want to have a planet to live on.
That's radical to want to address climate change.
Trump diss Biden more than he did anybody at his own Comedy Central roast.
That's for sure.
So that was a critical moment for Joe Biden right there with the Green New Deal.
That was a critical moment.
He had to choose between the people or the donors.
And did you see what he chose?
Do you support the Green New Deal?
No.
So that there it was.
He had to choose between the donors or the people.
He chose the donors.
Now feel free to blame Susan Sarandon, Jill Stein, and comedians in their garage.
The Green New Deal would create nearly 30 million jobs.
So instead of Joe Biden being able to say that, I'm for the Green New Deal and 30 million jobs.
I'm going to give everybody health care, Medicare for a lot of the rest of the world.
They're going to save us trillions of dollars.
I'm going to end those wars and invest that money.
But he didn't say, he can't say, he can't say anything.
There wasn't one policy last night that Joe Biden had that was going to change anybody's life for the better.
Nor Trump, by the way.
That was horrible.
And so there you go.
So that's my little wrap-up.
What a swing and a miss.
This is what the Democrats can't.
Trump is competitive with the Democrats.
He beat them last time.
Joe Biden's calling me.
Hello?
Hey, it's me, Joe.
I bet you can't guess who this is.
Of course, I know who this is.
It's Joe Biden.
Oh, come on, man.
You know who this is.
But Here's the thing.
Who is you?
I'm Jimmy.
Hello, Jimmy.
I'm calling on behalf of the Joe Biden campaign.
Did you know that?
Yeah, yes, I knew that.
I'm hoping to gain your supports for my Joe Biden's campaign for the pressure density of the United States.
What's up, Fons?
Okay.
Where do we go from here?
Is this your ground game?
Don't you worry, my friends.
We're going to take those states like Wisconsin and Michigilligan by storm.
The storm doesn't get there first.
We got your cheeseheads in the bag.
I live in California, Joe.
Oh, give me that bunch of hoo-ha malarkey, you clown.
The GOP has people actually canvassing for Trump in neighborhoods in Wisconsin and Michigan.
What's the Democratic Party doing?
I'll tell you what we're doing.
Look, here's the deal: I'm laying low until we get all the bugs out of my plastic bubble.
What exactly is your ground game in Wisconsin, Joe?
Number one.
The head of the Wisconsin Democratic Party just put together an original cast live reading of the Princess Bride.
Did you see it?
That's all.
Get your tickets on the place.
You know the thing.
What's your main objection to Amy Coney Barrett's nomination?
Look, this gamey homie Farret Gal, what's missing?
Experience.
She needs to be older.
Said extra 10 to 15 years you spent going in and out of consciouslessness.
That really puts you in tune with everyday Americans.
by calling Colombo Kaepernick arrogant and ridiculous.
laughter *laughter* Hey, one last question, Joe.
How do you think you did on last night's debate against Trump?
Look, here's the deal.
Number one, there's that.
And number two.
Thirdly, I got to bash Bernie Sanders again.
God bless this country.
And bring me the Graham crackers.
New York Times, the President Trump paid $750 in federal income tax in 2016 and nothing in 2010 and 10 of the prior 15 years, largely because he reported losing much more money than he made.
Donald Trump in 2011 interview said he said even Americans who don't earn much should pay something in taxes to be part of the game.
On Sunday, the New York Times reported Trump's paid no federal income taxes in 10 out of 15 years, beginning in 2000.
Do you notice the key is they're not saying illegally?
Trump didn't write those tax laws, did he?
This is the norm for the ultra-rich, and they've been allowed to do this because of both parties.
Both parties have spent decades absolutely mangling the tax code to make sure you and I pay more than he does.
Oh, finish that line that he says, job credit.
Job creators, my ass.
That's right.
Watch this.
And Trump knows this too.
Here's one of those rare moments when Trump actually tells the truth.
Watch this.
We're paying more federal income tax than a billionaire.
I find that astonishing.
We're entitled, because of the laws that people like her pass, to take massive amounts of depreciation on other charges, and we do it.
And all of her donors, just about all of them.
I know Buffett took hundreds of millions of dollars.
Soros, George Soros took hundreds of millions of dollars.
Let me just explain.
All of her donors, most of her donors have done the same thing as I did.
You know what you should have done?
You know, Hillary, what you should have done?
You should have changed the law when you were a United States Senator.
No, no, no.
I heard this.
Because your donors and your special interests are doing the same thing as I do, except even more so.
Well, you should have changed the law, but you won't change the law.
And frankly, you should have changed the law.
If you don't like what I did, you should have changed the laws.
Gee, if only we had a Democratic president and a Democratic majority in Congress, that could have fixed our broken tax system right after the global financial meltdown.
Oh, we did have those things.
And Hillary Clinton was part of that administration, and they didn't fix the tax code.
So Donald Trump gets to pay $750 in taxes because of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama and the Democrats, along with the Republicans.
Even Ann Coulter gets it.
I don't think the conservative take on real Donald Trump paying no taxes should be because he's smart.
I've paid nearly 50% of my income in taxes year after year, and any system that allows billionaires to bait zero is an unspeakably corrupt.
How about changing it, Democrats?
How about changing it, Democrats?
And Donald Trump and the Republicans owe two-thirds of the federal government right now.
How about asking them to do that?
The top tax rate has been cut six times since 1980, usually with the Democrats' help.
Do you see where the tax rate was?
And then it keeps going down and down and down.
And this is for the rich people.
That's for the rich people.
While Republicans are typically seen as the party of tax cuts for the rich, but analysis shows that Democrats have played a significant role in reductions in the top marginal tax rate.
They provided over 30% of the total House and Senate votes in support of the bills that have lowered the top rate since the 1980s.
Obama's 2010 tax cut bill, which delayed the sunsetting of the Bush tax cuts, passed with bipartisan support.
This is from the Washington Post.
David Sirota points out data gleaned from recent government reports shows that the richest 1% steal $266 billion a year in unpaid taxes every single year.
Trump did not make that.
That's been going on for a long time.
Trump has added to it.
While we are all this outraged about Trump's tax returns, here are the top 60 companies that avoided paying all federal income taxes.
Amazon.com is one of them.
Many of these companies got coronavirus relief funds.
Let's look at some of them.
Let's look at some of them.
How about they have 447 look at their taxes?
Look what they paid in taxes.
Negative $200.
So they have $447 million in income.
They paid negative $200.
They got some money back, I guess.
How about Alaska Air?
They made $576 million.
How much did they pay in taxes?
Negative $5.
They got $5 back from the government.
Let's keep going.
Let's go to Avis.
$78 million.
They paid minus $7.
Let's go to Chevron.
What is that?
$40 billion, $50.
I don't even know what that's $4,547 million.
So I don't know how many billions that is, but anyway, they paid negative $181.
Chevron didn't pay income tax.
But you did.
Let's go to Halliburton.
They didn't pay income tax.
Halliburton.
Goodyear, Tire Company.
They didn't pay income tax.
Honeywell didn't pay income tax.
IBM didn't pay income tax.
JetBlue didn't pay income tax.
MGM, Hotels International didn't pay income tax.
Netflix didn't pay income tax.
Let's go.
Let's look.
Whirlpool didn't pay income tax.
I am shocked to learn based on Donald Trump's tax returns that rich people don't pay enough in taxes.
Shocked.
We live in a country where everybody knows the government is completely corrupt, except for the reporters.
FYI, we have the lowest corporate tax rate since 1968.
Is that true or false?
According to the PolitiFact, it's 100% true.
And now, if you want to know who to blame, so why did we just get Trump's tax returns now?
Could we have gotten them earlier if we really wanted them?
Why a month before the election?
Turns out Trump's tax returns remained hidden because of Richard Neal.
Who's that?
Is he a Democrat?
Does he have power?
Turns out he does.
Representative Richard Neal is in no rush to get Trump's tax returns.
What?
The one Democrat, the one Democrat who can get Trump's state tax returns doesn't want to.
That's infuriated the left.
Ways and means, Chair Richard Neal, Democrat of Massachusetts, is taking a pass on the new New York law, allowing him to obtain information on the president's finances.
That's weird.
Who's being naive, Kay?
Vote blue.
Vote blue.
You really think there's two parties?
Still, people think there's two parties in the United States.
You are a chump.
And as IceCube says, everybody's, you know, talking about get Trump out, get Trump out, get Trump out.
If you vote, that's going to happen on the first day.
So now what?
Trump out now what?
What?
What do we get in the first hundred days?
That's what we're trying to figure out.
What do we actually get that they could give us overnight like that?
They just pulled $3 trillion out their ass and gave it to their friends.
That's American taxpayer money.
That's your money that they just gave away.
And then there's half 42% of black businesses closing.
None of that money.
Where's our fucking bill out?
Where's the bell out?
Not the PPP loan that they didn't give us.
Where's the bell out?
I don't want to hear about deficit.
I don't want to hear about what our generations are going to have to pay.
Because if we don't have shit, they ain't going to have shit anyway to pay nothing.
So we got to start something right now.
Democrats don't seem like they got a plan.
Republicans don't seem like they got a plan for us.
So how the hell are you going to vote for them?
Make them earn that vote.
They can start today.
They ain't got it yet.
They can start today.
Make their ass earn that vote, man.
Stop playing with these people, and they'll stop playing with you.
It's funny.
It's funny.
When I say funny, I mean sad and tragic to see my blue check Hollywood comedian friends that I've made over the last 20 years turn into willing tools of the oligarchy because they're rich now They don't have a problem that they need government to solve So they don't understand that you're supposed to pressure Joe Biden and the Democrats to actually do something for people, but they don't give a fuck because they don't need anything to be done for them.
They just don't like Trump on TV.
It's shallow.
It's very shallow.
Oh my god, it's Master of the Senate Chuck Schumer is calling me.
Hello.
Greetings and good tidings to you, my good friend.
To you and yours on this Yom Kippur.
A day we were encouraged to make amends and ask forgiveness for the sins we committed during the past year.
Does that include fast-tracking 15 of Donald Trump's judges?
It means you can go fuck yourself.
That's what it means.
And besides, I did that two years ago, so no takebacks.
We have rules in Congress, young man.
It's what separates us from socialists.
Hey, what's your reaction to the New Times article on Donald Trump's tax returns?
I am shocked to learn that some unscrupulous rich people have been manipulating our tax code to avoid paying taxes.
I fully intend to compose a sternly worded letter of complaint to the IRS as soon as this election is over and things settle down.
You could just rewrite the tax code, Chuck.
Not during a pandemic, Jimmy.
It would be irresponsible to risk another super spreader by meeting with all those donors.
What does Nancy Pelosi think?
I agree with Nancy, and I can call her Nancy because I'm close to her.
You and your ilk, however, must always use the title of Madam Speaker when properly addressing Nancy.
Is that clear?
Okay, okay, what does Madam Speaker think?
Nance and I fervently believe President Trump's massive debts clearly show he's a national security threat.
Because his returns confirm conspiracies with Russian oligarchs?
No.
Well, isn't that what you've been claiming his returns would reveal all these years, Chuck?
Yeah, absolutely not.
And the lights in your three-story Victorian haven't been dimming either.
So what's the clear national security threat?
I told you.
The threat is that we couldn't find anything about Russia and his tax returns.
Now he's just your typical lying piece of shit, rich American who never pays his taxes.
And that's going to screw it up for the rest of the fine, upstanding lying piece of shit, rich Americans.
But why is Nancy saying Trump's debt is a national security threat?
That is bad, Jimmy.
Every American knows that.
It makes you do bad things like being Poor.
I personally know a lot of poor people who had to turn into Russian spies in order to pay for their microwaves and mocha latte.
You know, a lot of presidents were in debt.
Go on, name one president who was in big debt while in the White House.
I double dare you.
Abraham Lincoln.
Well, naturally, he was a deadbeat Republican.
He even let Russia keep two fleets off the east coast to protect the union.
And I'm putting air quotes around the word protect.
Need I say more?
Are you saying Abraham Lincoln was a Russian asset, Chuck?
Why didn't he ever release his tax return?
I've had it up to here with this lack of decorum.
Stand poor, stand proud, and hear our great battle cry: nothing will fundamentally change.
My work here is done.
Away.

This is Nancy Pelosi went on a podcast this, and she said, Nancy Pelosi said, if the election were held today, we would win.
We would win it all, she says.
She's referring to the donor money.
I really put my friggin face into that joke.
I mean, that's called delivering, baby.
That's landing.
Some people would say mugging.
That's part of comedy.
People go, oh, there's more mugging than that.
Hey, that's how comedy works.
It's called landing the joke.
Who are you going to listen to?
You or me?
Who has an award-winning comedy Central Specials?
Let's go.
Here she go.
Okay, I'm going to play.
So here she is.
She went on this podcast sway.
It's interviewed by this woman, Kara Swisher.
Two crazy things that happened here.
Kara Swisher actually.
Well, first, let's do this.
I know it sounds like a crazy question because you're the most powerful, one of the most powerful institutions in this country in the world.
Have people underestimated your power and the power of Congress and you particularly.
First of all, it's a great question.
Hey, you're so awesome and powerful and powerful.
And do people know that?
You want me to help spread the word about how awesome and powerful?
Anyway, all right, but listen to what Nancy says.
How has that affected your ability to do your jobs and to get things done?
Well, I am very powerful.
The power of the speaker is awesome, says she.
I don't mean I am, but the power of the speaker is awesome.
And we are able to bring legislation to the floor.
We're able also to stop certain initiatives of the other side.
Should they have the White House or the other body?
So she has an awesome power.
The power is, isn't that what she said?
Did she say awesome?
So her power, the power of the speaker, the power she has is awesome.
She could use it for many different things.
One of them is to stop what the Republicans want to do.
It's weird that she's never done that.
But theoretically, I guess she could stop what the Republicans are doing because I don't know if you remember Nancy Pelosi did not fund the states during for coronavirus.
She did give you a friendly reminder.
Your federal government has completely turned their back on you with nothing but a one-time $1,200 FU check for six months and counting.
So she did that.
And by the way, humility is a virtue, isn't it?
But who needs that when you've got a $12,000 freezer?
So do you remember when she, so when they were doing the CARES Act, we were screaming bloody murder.
Nobody else was, by the way, in the news media.
We were screaming bloody murder about how Nancy Pelosi was giving Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump, and the 1% donor class everything they wanted and nothing for you because during the CARES Act was when they had all their power.
And Andrew Cuomo even was upset.
Remember this?
Remember, Andrew Cuomo said this on CNN?
We've been talking about funding for state and local governments.
And it was not in the bill that the House is going to pass today.
They said, don't worry, don't worry, don't worry.
The next bill.
I said to my colleagues in Washington, I would have insisted that state and local funding was in this current bill because I don't believe they want to fund state and local governments.
And he was correct.
Now, this is back in March.
And he was saying, why didn't the Democrats who own the House?
By the way, Trump can't spend a penny without Nancy Pelosi giving them the money.
So that money that got spent during the CARES Act, that $5 trillion, Nancy Pelosi, that could not get spent, could not have done it if Nancy Pelosi didn't engineer it, and she did.
And so they, and so Andrew Cuomo's like, why did you pass this without giving us money?
We know we need it.
And here's what she said.
So Cuomo says he would have insisted on state funding in the last bill.
And now Senator McConnell is saying he wants to push the pause button.
Was this a tactical mistake by you and Senator Schumer?
Just calm down.
We will have state and local, and we will have it in a very significant way.
There has been no state.
It's October.
It's almost October.
What is today's date?
September 29th?
Yep.
It's almost October.
That was March.
Calm down.
She told people who are out of jobs.
She told governors who have no money to pay their services.
She said, calm down.
We're going to fund it, and it's going to be fine.
It's now almost October.
No funding.
And she doesn't give a crap.
By the way, she went on vacation since she did this.
She went on a nice month-long vacation after she did this.
So here we go.
So it's no use going on to what might have been the administration never even wanted to do.
I mean, we kept this for you.
When we said we're not doing 250.
No, I don't care.
I don't care what she says.
So now, keep all this in mind.
Keep all that in mind.
She's the most powerful person.
She's got awesome power of the speaker.
She can stop public Republican initiatives whenever she wants.
Here she goes.
Ready?
Here we go.
Well, then, and then this reporter actually asks her a question.
Where do you go?
Because people are, whatever the Republicans do, people are also going to blame them.
You know what?
We have to take responsibility.
We're not worrying about that.
What we're worrying about is the fact that millions of people are hungry on the verge of eviction, concerned about sending their children to school in an unsafe way, having uncertainty, especially in communities of color, that this virus is spreading in a disproportionate way in their communities.
The state and local government has nothing but the disdain of the president who says he's not going to respect our heroes, our healthcare workers, our police and fire first responders, our transportation teachers, our sanitation, our food workers.
She's just naming stuff now.
She's just naming words and things and occupations.
What she's doing is identity politics because she's not doing anything for those people either that she's mentioning.
But she's just mentioning their name.
So you'll associate her with them.
That's straight up.
So listen.
And so the reporter is starting to go, well, watch what she asks.
Our teachers, our teachers, our teachers.
We would not be functioning as a society without our state and local governments.
And the president says, we're not sending any money.
It's blue stage.
Where do you press that?
Like, when you did the ACA, which I think most people really attribute to your muscling it through, you said you go through a gate.
If the gates close, you go over the fence.
If the fence is too high, we'll pole vault.
And if that doesn't work, we'll parachute in.
We're going to get health care reform passed for the American people.
Where is your pole vault here?
It seems like where is that for?
So here's an actual reporter four years into the Trump administration asking Nancy Pelosi, what are you doing specifically to push your agenda?
What are you doing to pole vault the left's agenda on Trump?
And what are you doing specifically to stop him?
Here's what she says.
You.
And aside from the Republicans, how are you going to use your power to make them do something?
Well, the American people, I believe in the American people.
They understand people are hurting.
We have to meet their needs, not to give the president a chance to just say, how are you meeting their needs?
She won't say it.
And you know why?
Because she's not meeting their needs.
Nancy Pelosi isn't doing a goddamn thing.
And just like this reporter pointed out, when you were trying to pass the ACA, you said you'd do a poll vault.
You go over the fence, around it, under every, you get it done.
What are you doing to show that you're doing that now?
Where's your poll vault now?
There isn't one.
And she just keeps talking.
So this whole thing is to make it crystal clear that Nancy Pelosi is controlled opposition.
If you think Nancy Pelosi is the opposition to Trump, you are a chump.
I'm going to put my name on a check, send it out, and don't talk to me about food, rent, first responders, healthcare workers, the virus or anything else.
That's all he wants is his name on a check that goes out.
And all due respect.
What's the difference?
As long as the people get the money.
So the reporter, so what's the difference?
As long as the people get the money, you want to stop money going to people because Donald Trump's name will be on the check.
People are hurting, and Nancy Pelosi doesn't want to help them because she doesn't want Donald Trump to get credit for it before the election.
And that is a fact.
So if you don't have help right now during coronavirus after the government made you close down your business and you lost your job, you're not getting relief because Nancy Pelosi is playing politics.
She doesn't want to do something that would make Trump look good before the election.
She's not helping you.
Wait a minute.
Wait a minute.
Perhaps I'm not clear.
Okay.
No, you're not.
State and local government provide everything for us.
They're where our services largely come from.
If you want to talk about education, we're unhappy about the kind of money and how they want to spend it at the federal level.
But that's a small percentage of the money.
Over 90% of the money comes from state and local government, which is firing teachers as we speak.
So we're looking at it comprehensively.
You're saying just so they have a check in their pocket.
It doesn't matter.
I get that day of food.
What is your pole vault to get there?
So what are you doing?
Okay, all right.
So you want to deny him that check and you got all these other things that we have to take care of?
What are you doing to do this?
What are you using to make sure this, all this stuff you just said is happening?
What are you doing specifically?
This is what the reporter's question is.
And she's not doing anything.
And so she has no answer.
Watch this.
Are you going to pull vault over this?
We're just going to, we're just going to keep making our case.
What is that case, by the way?
We're just going to keep making that case.
We're just going to keep making our case.
What?
What do you mean you're going to keep making your case?
You just said you were the most powerful, the awesome power of the speaker.
And she asked, what are you going to do specifically?
We're just going to keep making our case.
You mean you're going to keep going on TV and talking?
Yes.
You're going to keep going on podcasts and talking about what a bad guy Donald Trump is?
Yes.
That's what she means.
That's it.
The most powerful person in the Democratic Party.
The second most powerful person in the whole goddamn country in the world, possibly.
What are you going to do to get your agenda passed?
Nothing.
I'm going to go on TV and podcasts and talk about what a creep Donald Trump is.
And I'll back it up.
I'm going to get a check in their pocket.
It doesn't matter.
I get that day of food.
What is your pole vault to get there?
How are you going to pole vault over this?
We're just going to, we're just going to keep making our case.
And I want to tell you something.
You may not know this.
Tell me.
The poll that came out 49 to 30.
The American people support how the congressional Democrats are supporting the coronavirus challenge.
So you're just going to keep making your, but the actual mechanics, the operational mechanics of making it happen.
Yeah.
Are you optimistic?
So, but the actual, right, but the actual mechanic, what are you doing?
Nothing.
Nothing.
So you can go ahead and vote for Democrats.
You can vote for Joe Biden all you want.
You can vote extra hard.
You can vote extra early.
But when Joe Biden wins the presidency, you just have another huge effing problem.
And it starts with 100 millionaire Nancy Pelosi, who is a war criminal and a regular criminal.
You know who gets rich while they're in government?
Criminals.
And who said that?
Harry Truman.
Who got rich while she was in government?
Nancy Pelosi, who is legit war criminal and a real, regular everyday criminal.
She's complicit in torture.
She's complicit in torture.
The most powerful.
Oh, remember how powerful she said she was?
And what are you doing?
Nothing.
Remember how you said you got a pole vault over if the fence is locked, you got to pole vault over it?
What's your poll vault?
Nothing.
So if you think voting Democrat is a solution, you're a chump or a willful idiot.
Did I say Trump?
I meant Biden.
Yeah.
It goes both ways.
Either way, it works.
Come on.
It works.
Joe Biden is another problem.
Some people say Joe Biden is a more insidious problem because the left goes to sleep when the Democrats are in control.
Just like the Democrats don't know that Nancy Pelosi is actually a Republican.
Just like guys like all your blue check Hollywood fucks.
They don't know that Nancy Pelosi actually isn't opposing Donald Trump, except in the most professional wrestling type way.
She loves Donald Trump because she fundraises off him.
She doesn't actually oppose him.
She's not using the power of the speakership to do anything.
What's your poll vault?
Here, I'll play it again.
Coronavirus challenge.
So you're just going to keep making your single making your stupid case to the American public?
So you could do this whether you were a speaker or not.
But what are you doing with the speaker power?
What are you doing with the speaker power?
Nothing.
What are you doing with the speaker power?
So the reporter goes, so you're just going to keep making the case to the, you're not going to do anything?
But what about, what are you doing with the speaker power, the mechanics?
The actual mechanics, the operational mechanics of making it happen.
Yeah.
Are you optimistic?
We are legislating.
Okay.
We are legislating.
Okay.
And if the president does not want to legislate and just want to have his name on a check, that ain't going to happen.
That is Nancy Pelosi being smug about denying you money relief during a pandemic and smugly saying it.
She's bragging that she's going to deny you help right now.
She just, it ain't going to happen.
What?
And that reporter rolled over pretty quickly.
It was so funny.
That reporter asked three good questions in a row, and then it's okay.
Nancy Pelosi engineered the CARES Act.
Nancy Pelosi made sure.
How did the coronavirus stimulus package?
It passed out a voice vote.
Why did she do that?
Because she knew it was horrible.
And so then people like AOC could lie and say she was actually opposing Nancy Pelosi's coronavirus package when she was not.
She voted for it.
Every Democrat voted for it.
Every single one, including Bernie Sanders.
The largest upward transfer of wealth in the history of humankind.
It was engineered by Nancy Pelosi and voted for by the squad, AOC, and Bernie Sanders.
And now, who's being naive, Kay?
You think voting for a goddamn Democrat is a solution to anything.
You are a chump of the highest order or a willful idiot.
I'll also throw in plain, plain, just uninformed on purpose.
House approves the CARE Act by a voice vote.
No recorded vote was requested.
So if AOC wants to say she voted against it, why didn't she request a recorded vote?
Because she didn't.
So I just want everybody to hear that.
Nancy Pelosi says she's the most powerful person.
She has awesome power of the speakership.
She could stop Republicans' initiatives, which she could.
And when asked, what are you doing to stop them?
Nothing.
Hey, what are you doing?
What are you doing with the awesome power of the speakership to help people in the middle of the pandemic and in the middle of an economic depression?
Nothing.
I'm nothing.
I'm going to keep going making the case.
I was told by people, and I didn't believe it.
I thought they were being cynical.
They said Nancy Pelosi is not going to do anything to help people during the pandemic until after the election.
That's what people told me.
And I was like, I'm a cynical mother.
That's pretty cynical, Matt.
Come on.
She's not going to help people.
People are going to be getting kicked out of their house.
People don't have health care.
She's not going to help.
People don't have their jobs because the government told them to shut up.
She's not going to help people during the, come on.
They said she's not going to do it.
These are insiders in the Democratic Party told me this.
They said she's not going to do it until after the election.
And here it is.
And that's just wrestling anyway.
Because she doesn't really oppose it.
She loved the CARES Act was done.
It's over.
It's all over.
That was the one time the Democrats had leverage to do something, and they didn't.
Okay, so more.
This interview goes on, and it gets worse.
I think we're going to talk about the Supreme Court here.
Let's see.
You know, whether you like it or not.
And you have to keep moving forward with your political goals, right?
Well, I don't think that it was appropriate.
You have to keep moving forward with your political goals, right?
Okay.
Within hours of the news of her passing came forth that the leader in the Senate made his announcement.
I think cruel.
Okay, but Trump has a list of frontrunners to replace Justice Ginsburg and said that he'll announce his nomination this week.
But is there anything you can do to influence what happens next?
I'll have arrows in my quiver, the House quiver.
But I will also say that all of my arrows are made by Nerf.
What kind of an out of touch?
By the way, we got to stop this arrows and quiver shit.
A quiver?
You know, I had no idea what a quiver.
I had to look up what the F they were talking about.
A quiver?
Hey, I didn't go to boarding school.
A quiver?
A quiver.
That's what I guess the thing they put the arrows in.
It's called a quiver.
So you pull out it.
What?
Who does that?
This certainly connecting with those 100 million people who don't vote.
So she says, she says she has all these quivers.
Okay, here we go.
She has all these arrows in her quiver.
My arrows is not to say what the arrows are.
Okay.
But I will say this, vote, vote, vote, vote.
It's so important that the prospect of.
Yes, vote for someone who may do something, but they can't tell you.
That's inspiring.
People voting, I think, will be a message to the Republicans about how And what are you going to do?
I can't tell you what I'm going to do, but vote for us.
She just said that.
What are your arrows?
Well, one of my arrows is not telling you what they are.
But vote for you?
This is a real thing.
So Nancy Pelosi has never been asked a question in four freaking years since Trump has been elected.
She's finally getting asked questions by this care woman.
And she doesn't have it's, oh my God.
Receptive they are to moving so quickly on this.
So just keep this in mind.
The Democrats could do a dozen different things to stall Trump's nominee from being nominated to the Supreme Court, yet they don't and won't.
Republicans are paid to be the aggressors and Democrats are paid to be weak.
If you don't understand this by now, you are in a coma.
Do you hear Nancy Pelosi?
What are you doing to people in pandemic?
Nothing.
We're just going to, nothing.
We're certainly not going to let Trump send the check to people to help them.
What about the Supreme Court?
What are you doing?
Nothing.
It's funny.
Liberals accuse the left of not caring about the situation, this situation, while someone like Pelosi has more power than every single one of us, but refuses to do anything with it.
Who's the one really not taking this shit seriously?
Don't you know asking politicians to do their jobs isn't civil, and the most important thing of all is civility.
FYI, I tweeted out this podcast and her saying this.
When asked whether Pelosi is using all her quivers in her air, all the arrows in her quiver to stop Trump from replacing Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Pelosi implies that she doesn't think Republicans are going to overturn Roe anyway.
Oh, I'm going to play that in a second.
FYI to my blue check Hollywood friends, no matter what Rachel Maddow tells you, the Democrats do not impose Donald Trump and you are chumps.
Oh, by the way, she did take on a vacation during the pandemic.
Congress, the only time Congress has acts swiftly is when it's to go on vacation or to approve a war budget.
Hey, we're in the middle of pandemic.
Let's go on vacation.
More Nancy Pelosi.
All right.
When you talk about this idea of Bill Barr him being an employee or a henchman, which is your word, you still have power to do something about it to get harder.
He's a waste of time.
I think he's a waste of harder.
Oh, that's so there's some you could do something about this.
Why don't you?
What?
No, I'm not gonna.
It's a waste of time to do something about it.
It's a waste of time to do something about Bill Barr.
I'm not gonna do anything.
But she said, the reporter's like, but you could do something.
Yeah, I'm not gonna.
Right now we have the election.
The fact is, he's not worth it because we have a pandemic and it's hard enough to convince.
And I already told you I'm not doing anything to help people during the pandemic.
So now she's gonna pretend now like she's actually doing something for independent.
She's not doing anything.
Convince this administration that they should stop the pandemic than to waste our time on bar.
So I'm gonna play that.
I'm gonna start over.
Go ahead.
All right.
When you talk about this idea of Bill Barr, him being an employee or a henchman, which is your word, you still have power to do something about it to tell it harder.
He's a waste of time.
I think he's a waste of time.
Right now we have the election.
The fact is, he's not worth it because we have a pandemic and it's hard enough to convince this administration that they should stop the pandemic than to waste our time.
What about you?
What are you doing to help stop the pandemic?
I thought you're super powerful.
What are you doing?
I'm just here to whine and hope that Donald Trump does something.
And I'll try to shame Donald Trump into doing something, but I'm not actually going to do anything.
Come on, we have a pandemic that I'm doing nothing about.
And I have an election that we're not really trying to win.
I don't have time to waste time.
On bar.
All right.
So let's focus on Trump then.
So he's not.
Okay, so you're not going to do anything with William Barr, which you could.
Let's focus on the stuff you could be doing with Trump.
Watch this.
Trump is not.
So one person wrote yesterday on Twitter of all things, the instinct to compromise looks like capitulation.
And what was interesting is many years ago, Rahm Emanuel said about you, a lot of Democrats are uncomfortable with the use of power.
Nancy Pelosi is not.
What can you do to rein in the power of the president?
Seems like this is not just, it's persistent, it's relentless.
It doesn't stop.
You're fixing something over here.
Then something happens over here.
It's everywhere.
So how do you rein in the power of the president?
If you want to not look at his henchmen, if you want to not look at his employees, how do you do that?
Well, we're going to have to win the United States Senate.
Remember that taking over the House?
Turn it blue so Nancy Pelosi could be a check on pop.
Oh, how do you do that?
She just got done telling us how unbelievably powerful the House Speaker is.
Hey, the House Speaker has a lot of power.
Lots of stuff we can do.
A few minutes later, she says, what can we do to reel in the president?
well, we need the Senate.
What we have in the Congress of the United States are just a herd of enablers of the president.
No, you're the enabler of the president, Nancy Pelosi.
You are the enabler.
You pass his entire agenda.
You even gave Trump money for his border wall.
You gave him an extra $132 billion to go bomb people as you were claiming he was working for Vladimir Putin.
That's who they are.
You know, people have to understand.
They say to me, oh, I bet those members of Congress are so embarrassed by him.
No, he's their guy.
He's their guy.
Name any.
Remember, the question was, what are you doing to put a check on Bill Barr?
What are you doing to put a check on Donald Trump?
Do you hear what she's saying?
Those guys are bad guys.
But what are you doing?
Did you see how bad they are?
This is professional wrestling.
You dupes who think Nancy Pelosi is the opposition.
Subject.
Name a woman's right to choose LGBTQ rights, climate issues, immigration, gun safety, fairness in our economy.
He's their champion.
They think just like him.
They are the current version of Congressional Republican.
I tell people in the Republican Party, take back your party.
This isn't who you are.
You've been hijacked.
All right, but we have to win the White House.
But let me just say that even with the Democrat in the White House, even if it's a Democrat, we do think there have to be guardrails more pronounced.
So we have to make sure to make them stronger.
Whoever the president is, Democratic or Republican.
Did you hear what she just said?
There's currently a Republican in the presidency right now.
She won't do anything to curb him, but I'm not going to bother reeling in the current Republican president, but I'll try to make sure I reel in the future Democratic one.
That way, it's easier to make excuses when nothing changes.
You can't parody this.
Here she is ripping up his, here she is ripping up his.
Now, I told I that's why I went on Tucker Carlson, so I can tell everybody who watches Tucker Carlson that this was theater, that Nancy Pelosi and Donald Trump are working together for the 1%, not against them, for them.
They are the 1%.
Nancy Pelosi, right before she ripped this up, passed his entire legislative agenda.
All right.
So your relationship with President Trump is an interesting one.
You serve as a foil for him in a lot of ways.
You've never been shy to speak your mind with him, like ripping up the speech, his speech at the State of the Union.
You're Speaker of the House, though, and you haven't spoken to him in almost a year.
Do you get a sense that you should be speaking to him, given you are the most powerful Democrat at this moment?
I speak to him every day in the public domain.
In the public domain, he hears things.
Right.
That's how he hears things.
And again, I want to have a witness to what I have to say to him.
One of your ways is sort of to treat him like a baby and somewhat like a moron.
I mean, the way you talk to him, do you think, is this theatrical or is there really a behind the scenes that is going on?
That's spontaneous at the moment.
Right.
The tearing up of the speech, I didn't, I was about halfway through the speech when I decided to do that.
Right, but these are theatrical spontaneous.
It was spontaneous.
Who is your audience?
Is it him?
Are you trying to get under his skin?
No, he's not.
The audience was my own integrity.
I couldn't.
Her audience was her own integrity.
In other words, the show was canceled due to no attendance.
Speech was a pack of lies, a pack of lies.
So I thought, well, I'll tear that page.
I was thinking, I've got to tear that page up.
It's a lie.
That page and that page.
And then finally, it was like the whole speech was a pack of lies.
And he dishonored the chamber of the house of representatives by being so political.
We don't do that.
All right.
But let me just say, you're not Nancy, the suburban housewife, just sitting there tearing up papers.
You're Nancy, the Speaker of the House.
Speaker of the House.
So we have a branch of government.
Article 1, the first branch of the government.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
You felt this was a speech.
Even though in these moments, it's quite dramatic, whether it's the sunglasses, whether it's the tearing up of the speech, whether it's the tiny clapping.
Do you?
It's the tiny speech.
I like the best when I'm pointing to him with you, Mr. President, all roads lead to Putin.
And he put out the picture.
Yeah, yeah.
He put out the picture.
I was like, what?
Thank you.
Yeah, that's your favorite.
Okay.
All right.
That's your favorite.
But at the same time, some people think that you don't go far enough, that you're too operational.
I've had several different people I talked to saying the impeachment wasn't far enough.
Well, how do we know we are not the Senate?
I understand that.
But do you think taking baby steps has been helpful with this?
I don't think impeaching the president is taking baby steps.
And by the way, I have two things to say about your question.
One is that I have great reliance on my committees and how they develop what they think is the best way for us to proceed.
It's not me telling other people.
We build consensus.
That's why we have unity in our caucus.
Sure.
In spite of all of our differences, and they are vast.
We build consensus.
And that was the consensus.
And that's how we went forward.
As far as my own behavior, apart from what the committees and this or that, what I have, says she immodestly, is authenticity.
And that's what I do when I believe, and that's what it is.
And that's why the election is important to send a message to these senators who are up this time.
We're here.
We know what's happening.
And again, some people who are not particularly Democratic or Republican, but do care about a pre-existing condition.
Millions more of them now because of the coronavirus.
All right.
If the court overturns.
Nancy, take a glass, drink of water.
You know that thing that they're going to privatize while you're still in office.
Let me give you one of your arrows near your quiver.
If the court overturns Roe, but you have Biden in a Democratic Senate, what will you do specifically to help protect abortion rights in red states?
So what are you?
You're, again, the most powerful person, super awesome power.
What are you going to do?
What are you going to do to protect abortion rights?
Her answer just may surprise you, or will it?
The answer is nothing.
Spoiler alert.
You do anything if the GOP keeps the Senate.
Well, that would be much harder.
That's why we want people to vote now.
Let me just say this.
They've had the House and Senate and Republican president for a while.
They by and large been fakers on Roe v.
Wade when they could have done it.
They didn't.
They just like to use it.
But now I think with the, shall we say.
So I don't know what just happened there.
I don't know if you know what just happened, but what just happened there was called a gaffe.
Because what Nancy Pelosi, and what is a gaffe?
In Washington, D.C., a gaff is when you accidentally tell the truth.
And so what Nancy Pelosi just did there, you know how you're supposed to vote Democrat because they're going to protect abortion rights and that because of the Supreme Court and all that stuff.
And she's saying, she asked her, what are you doing?
Nancy Pelosi just said that you don't have to worry about abortion rights.
That's just a bluff issue by the Republicans.
They're never going to take it away.
They've had control of the government before and they didn't do it.
So they're not going to do it.
So that's a non-issue.
You don't have to worry about voting on abortion ever again.
That's what she just said.
So when the Democrats use abortion to get your vote, she says that they're faking because Nancy Pelosi just said the Republicans are never going to repeal abortion.
That's a fake issue.
So you don't have to vote for the Democrats because of abortion.
And the House and Senate and Republicans let me just say this.
They've had the House and Senate and Republican president for a while.
They by and large been fakers on Roe v.
Wade when they could have done it.
They didn't.
They just like to use it.
But now I think with the show.
They're fakers, she says.
It's not a real issue.
You don't have to worry about it.
That's why she's not doing anything.
Say, I don't know what the word is to use about this president, but the lack of balance that is there, you never know what he may try to do.
But this is vital.
And if the court cares anything about precedent, they will not overturn Roe v.
Wade.
All right, but specifically, what can you do?
Are there things you could pass to protect these?
Because there will be abortions in certain states if this is overturned, and there won't be in others.
And of course, abortion rights have been made smaller all over the country and restricted.
What specifically do you have in mind to protect those rights?

Now what we're fighting is some decisions in the court which may not overturn Roe v.
Wade, but will enable states to effectively deprive a woman of that right.

Did she just say three different things at once there?
Yes.
She said the abortion thing isn't an issue, but it might be.
She realized, oh, shit, I told the truth.
