The World Is Dividing Into Three Power Blocs

In this wide-ranging episode of Corsi Nation, Dr. Jerome Corsi analyzes a rapidly evolving global landscape as the world moves toward what he describes as a three-power geopolitical configuration dominated by the United States, Russia, and China.Dr. Corsi examines the instability unfolding in Venezuela, the uncertainty surrounding regime change and protests in Caracas, and why U.S. naval positioning and energy negotiations signal a renewed assertion of Western Hemisphere control. He explains why Venezuela is only the first test in a broader effort to re-establish regional sovereignty and prevent rival powers from undermining U.S. national security. The discussion expands to global flashpoints, including Ukraine, Taiwan, Iran, and Eastern Europe, highlighting why unchecked proxy conflicts risk escalating into nuclear confrontation. Dr. Corsi argues that traditional balance-of-power geopolitics — including respected spheres of influence — may be the only realistic path to preventing world war in a nuclear age. 🔥 Key Themes CoveredThe return of sphere-of-influence geopoliticsU.S. hemispheric security and the future of VenezuelaRussia, China, and the limits of proxy warfareUkraine, NATO, and Europe’s growing economic fragilityIran’s internal unrest and regional instabilityThe collapse of globalist institutions and NGO influenceGold and silver signaling systemic economic stressElection integrity, citizenship enforcement, and federal authorityCorporate retreat from politicized “woke” governanceWhy economic warfare now rivals military conflictDr. Corsi connects geopolitical realignment with economic warning signs, including record gold and silver prices, rising debt, and declining confidence in fiat currency. He explains why these pressures expose the fragility of the current global system — and why populist movements are accelerating as institutions lose legitimacy. The episode concludes with a broader reflection on sovereignty, accountability, and the moral foundations necessary to restore stability amid global disruption.🌐 Website: https://www.corsination.com📰 Substack: https://jeromecorsiphd.substack.com/🌐 The Truth Central: https://www.thetruthcentral.com💰 CORSI NATION SPONSORSMyVitalC — ESS60 in Organic Olive Oil👉 https://www.thetruthcentral.com/myvitalc-ess60-in-organic-olive-oil/Swiss America — Precious Metals Wealth Protection📞 800-519-6268👉 https://www.swissamerica.com/offer/CorsiRMP.phpBecome a supporter of this podcast: https://www.spreaker.com/podcast/corsi-nation--5810661/support.

Time Text
This is Jerome Courcy and today it is January 7th, 2026.
It's Wednesday.
And thanks for joining us at CourcyNation.com.
What's going on in the world today seems to be much of a repeat of prior days' stories.
There's not a lot new going on, just developing stories from the weekend.
So with regards to Venezuela, Trump's saying that Venezuela is going to sell us billions of dollars worth of oil.
And we're bringing tankers over there to get the oil and bring some money into Venezuela.
I'm sorry, Venezuela's economy.
So that's a development in terms of Venezuela getting back into the economic world.
I'm still not sure what the outcome is going to be in terms of when this, the woman who has been, won the election, democratically won the election, is going to return, the one who won the Pillitzer Prize and gave it to Donald Trump.
But it's still in flux and transition.
We still have the Navy positioned outside Venezuela.
We're still ready to interdict any of the drug ships that try to get through that blockade, as it were.
And the protests in Caracas are still in the streets.
Overthrowing the government of Maduro remains a possibility.
But at the moment, the situation is just not stable.
The world is celebrating that Maduro is gone.
But let's see who in fact fills the power vacuum.
It's always one of the questions.
And it's why regime change becomes an issue once we intervene or any nation intervenes and removes the head of state or does what essentially is a coup d'état of the government.
And China is now talking about going into Taiwan.
And Russia is saying it has more support for having been in Ukraine.
And what I'm saying and have been saying and trying to get this theme across is that the world is moving into a three power configuration, United States, Russia, and China.
And each of us will have our sphere of influence.
Our sphere of influence is going to be the Western Hemisphere.
And Venezuela is just the first issue.
Donald Trump is now saying he wants Greenland.
He said yesterday, well, maybe he could use the troops and take Greenland.
Well, he probably could.
Or maybe we'll buy Greenland.
Well, we probably could do that too.
But the point is that Trump has hemispheric ambitions because he sees the necessity for us to control the Western hemisphere from the Atlantic to the Antarctic in order to preserve sovereignty, to have simple fundamental geopolitics where a major state has a sphere of influence, a group of states around it that have to remain favorable.
Otherwise, the national security of the United States is threatened by a country like Venezuela or Colombia or Cuba.
And similarly, Russia is threatened when the State Department and Soros are trying to move NATO right to the edge of the Soviet Union, former Soviet Union, by putting in CIA and other installations, Wuhan-like biolabs and other things that we did.
The Democrats controlling the house, the, I'm sorry, the Department of State, controlling the presidency and the Congress, were clearly trying to move Ukraine in a belligerent direction, intruding upon Russia's sphere of influence.
And China took over Hong Kong.
China's probably also going to take over Taiwan.
The question is: are we going to fight a nuclear war over these issues?
And I think these are things that we're constantly looking at to determine exactly what we need to do here in order to emerge to the next level.
And as far as I can see, this is again an emerging situation.
It's evolving, it's changing, but it is not a situation that is going to continue the way it has been continuing with foreign nations like China and Russia intruding on countries like Venezuela in order to continue to undermine U.S. authority in the Western Hemisphere.
Chris, I'd like you to comment on this.
Let's get a little discussion about this because increasingly I see people are talking about the risk of a nuclear war.
And it's one that in this environment with any confrontation can turn into a nuclear war pretty quickly.
I think that we are at a point where we have to work to make war obsolete.
And one of the ways we might do it, at least for a while, is to go to this three-partheid configuration with spheres of influence being established and respected.
What are your thoughts here on this, Chris?
That sounds good.
The problem is in the future, there will be new leaders elected or let's say installed, depending on what country we're talking about.
Can that three-pronged sphere of influence set up stay 12 to 25 years from now?
And secondly, can that come to a critical mess and ahead where those three factions start fighting and maybe trying to play a chess game in each other's spheres of influence, depending on what's going on?
I understand that it's possible we can reach an agreement between those three sectors in the next five to 10 years, but what happens in the next 10 to 30 after that?
Well, these are the kinds of issues that I think we're going to have to deal with.
And I can see the emerging nature of the world configuration changing dramatically.
I mean, Russia and China, Russia's yet an emerging economy.
It's not nearly of the size of the United States or China.
And China's economy is very fragile right now.
China, if it loses manufacturing because of the reversal of these free trade agreements and sending all of our manufacturing United States to cheap slave labor in China, and Trump is doing a good job of getting these things reversed, China's going to have economic difficulties.
And I see it reflected in the price of gold and silver, which silver is still today very close to $80 an ounce and gold right at about $4,500 an ounce, which reflects the economic insecurity and fragility of the world economic system, Chris.
Again, that's true too.
And look what's going on here.
Apologies for my throat, everybody.
You have, let's see what's going on now.
The sphere of influence situation is running rather, let's say there's the economic underground of this, the BRICS nations.
China and Russia are actually going into our sphere of influence, trying to recruit people in South America, obviously through Brazil, using their new potential currency and their new trading system and infiltrating our sphere of influence that way.
Well, it's going to continue to be a, I think Trump's idea of peace through prosperity has got to be taking hold.
In other words, we've got to look to a future where all states can have the ability to establish strong middle-class citizens who could live in relative comfort and relative security.
I mean, that's what human beings want.
And these instabilities that are being created in order to produce change.
And this has been a communist technique to get to their new one world government, new world order, which I think is again a failed idea.
So as, you know, a foreign policy magazine today is complaining that Trump is pulled out of all the international agreements and we're not participating in the World Trade Organization.
We didn't set the agenda at the climate change meeting.
And we just had this recent agreement of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris, which was meeting to say that they wanted to provide troops on the ground or security assurances for Ukraine after a peace agreement was reached.
And the United States, we were there, but we did not sign the agreement.
And we didn't suggest that we were willing to provide that kind of a security guarantee to Ukraine.
So if the European states are in that mode, how effective is that?
I mean, Europe is really itself German, the German chancellor saying that they're on the verge of economic collapse, which they are, of course, Germany destroyed its three functioning nuclear power plants last year on this global warming hoax.
So what does Germany expect?
It's deindustrializing, which is going to have a negative impact on its economy.
Chris.
Yes.
In fact, this is one of the many reasons why the U.S. isn't participating in this nonsense.
We're not participating in this Paris Accords global climate change agenda because it lines certain pockets, certain powerful pockets, as Germany's saying now, at the expense of the regular people of Europe and the U.S. and, of course, Canada.
You're looking at why we're not involved in their nonsense with Ukraine.
Well, again, who takes the brunt of that?
The American and Western taxpayers.
We've got to stick to this.
Europe and Canada and the EU, and they're all just complaining because they're losing the money that feeds the elite.
They're losing the corruption money that keeps these people in power.
And without that money, you wouldn't have the European Union.
You wouldn't have NATO.
You wouldn't have the United Nations.
And I think we'd be better off without any of them.
None of them are productive.
None of them are producing strong middle classes or none of them are producing stable governments.
We're having nothing but more banker-driven wars and arms dealers making a fortune.
Manufacturers getting wealthy, as is Zelensky and his cronies in the Ukraine corruption cartel, which is known as the Ukrainian government.
And, you know, so these things should be apparent and they need to come to a stop.
We have to get to a point where we're done funding this level of corruption.
Now, we're seeing that also in Donald Trump, you know, shutting off $10 billion in the child care programs to states like Minnesota and other states where the fraud has been clearly exposed.
And so I think, you know, we're fundamentally seeing a reality that the money being spent by governments is not serving the social welfare purposes for which it was intended, but are really just going into the coffers of anti-American, anti-democracy NGOs and others who seek to destroy the country.
Chris.
Again, that's exactly how it's been working for the last many decades.
What we had in the early portion of that time was a news media which controlled every little bit of information that was out there.
Now there are more independent sources.
People have an eye on what's going on around the world.
The elites of the world, they're either running and hiding or doubling down.
The fact is, those factions are breaking off too.
So if you look at what we have as far as the populist movements in the Western America, there are politicians who are willing to stand up and say this is enough.
We have to take care of our own countries.
We have to worry about our own interests, whatever sphere of influence we have or not, or ally ourselves with the right people and move forward.
But again, there are still very powerful people in Western Europe that have not let go and are doing the best they can not to do so.
Well, it's in Iran.
I think Iran, too, is on brink.
I mean, Iran is in the streets again.
And with Donald Trump supporting the people of Iran and saying that he's willing to bomb the Ayatollahs again, if that's what we have to do, you're seeing that Ayatollah Khomeini may now have an escape plan to Moscow.
And this is the first time since 1979, when Ayatollah Khomeini came back to Iran with his radical Islamic Marxist revolution, that we've had a real threat to the regime.
Because Obama clearly was not going to support the protesters in Iran.
He supported the Mulahs.
Obama said from the beginning, he was raised as a Muslim, and it is his faith.
He claims to be a Christian, but he doesn't show any, there's no proof of that Christianity being expressed in any way in his life.
There was a controversy over him not wearing jewelry during Ramadan as well.
So Joel Gilbert and I analyzed that ring he was wearing, which had the saying only one God is Allah.
And quickly the jewelry, that ring was modified to make it so that it didn't look like it had that saying on it.
And at the same time, I think we're finding that, you know, for instance, this hotel in Minnesota, which was a Hilton hotel part of the chain, barring ICE agents, well, suddenly is booted from federal programs saying they won't support ICE agents, then they're not going to get any more federal money.
And I think one of the keys again here that we have to understand is that these Democratic state governors and mayors who think it's chic and clever and cute to tell the federal government they're not going to go along with federal laws are going to quickly find out that they're committing crimes.
And their activity is not going to be ignored.
The Department of Justice has made it clear they're watching Mamdani.
As soon as Mamdani does something, in effect, that takes away rights of New York citizens, the federal government can intervene.
So, you know, these that we're facing a also, there was a meeting of the Democratic and Republican parties.
The Democrats were out, you know, attacking January 6th again with this candle ceremony they were doing, which was a clown show for sure.
And at the same time, the J6ers are saying we need reparations.
There's still J Sixers in prison.
There's still J Sixers who have not been completely exonerated.
And why?
I mean, J6 was, you know, they're gaslighting J6 and have been to say it was an insurrection when in fact, the evidence of the busloads of paid rioters dressed as if they were Trump mega supporters have been ignored.
All of the and the government's still saying for four years, we're not going to get more of the data on the J Sixers.
We're holding more secrets back from the American people.
Chris.
Again, the left, the Democrats, they need a narrative.
They need to keep pushing something.
They need a September 11th moment.
They need something.
They forged January 6th as that.
They put together a whole spectacle.
And to be honest with you, they only need about a small percentage of Americans to really believe what's going on.
They have a base that'll believe whatever they tell them.
They just want to push, they want to keep pushing and maybe scaring people into believing the mean old Republicans are going to do the same thing.
When in fact, in front of everybody's sight, every time the Democrats have lost an election after having power for a significant period of time, they've thrown a collective hissy fit.
We can start from 1980.
We can go to 19, we can go to 2000.
I don't know how many times I haven't heard Bush is a racist and haven't seen these protests all over the place, especially in the 2004 Republican National Committee meeting.
Then you have, of course, we know what happened in 2016 and 2024.
These are the people causing the problems.
But they need to suppress as much information as possible about January 6th because they have the imagery.
It's been in the newspapers and they need that narrative to try to win in 2026 and 2028 to scare people into voting for them, pretending they're the normal, the normal party, the party of normalcy.
I think Trump is getting ready to, he was talking again about this legislation that passed the House.
And it's going to come before the Senate.
He's going to push forward very hard, which is to say that you have to have proof of citizenship in order to vote.
And if this happens by law early this year, we're going to have, again, a major Democratic hissy fit.
And the Democrats, I was watching closely, the Gateway pundit is showing that there was a liberal woman who broke out and attacked another woman protester, you know, January 6 defendants who were gathered at the Capitol.
Well, the leftist was arrested and put in handcuffs.
Now, of course, the judge will probably just release that woman.
Be no consequences.
But the point is, there's got to be more recognition that opposing the efforts to deport illegals is a crime.
And I think Tom Holman is making that clear and sending now some 2,000 ICE agents into Minnesota to get rid of the Somalians.
The American people, I think, are tired of this.
And certainly the efforts to clean up the country to get it coming back into lawfulness.
The Democrats are running on a platform which is hard to sustain.
I watched the five for a few minutes last night and on Fox News.
It's clear that the Democrats are just a subject of ridicule.
Everything they're supporting is insane.
They look like they've lost their minds.
And it's time, I think, to bring back some of these anti-communist laws that we had in the 1950s and enforce them and say if these Democrats want to be communists, they need to be arrested because communism is an insurrectionist idea.
It's treasonous.
They want to destroy the United States, and we shouldn't allow them to hold positions of power.
So again, I think these themes are all developing.
They're developing very fast.
But, you know, the change that's underway at the moment with Trump is a change that is attacking these forces of evil, attacking the forces that want war,
and moving in a direction where the American people see exposed this new world order, which intentionally causes this chaos in order to produce its own goals, to force us into giving more power to government because of a pandemic or whatever strategy is being used.
And I think these are things that the American people have caught on to and are going to be more difficult for the intelligence agencies to pull off.
Chris?
Going back to what you were saying about what's going on in Minneapolis, that Hilton, apparently they were in trouble beforehand.
The same hotel was trying to deny ICE agents and federal agents were there to get rid of illegal immigrants and criminal illegal immigrants, by the way, denying them rooms, denying them services, if you will.
It got to the main office.
The main office said, we're going to cut you off if you keep doing that.
They said, fine, we'll not cut them off.
Ward had it, they cut them off again.
So Hilton just said, forget it.
We don't want to be political.
That's another trend that we're looking at right now as well.
Companies getting out of that woke political realm.
They don't want to be the next Bud Light.
They don't want to be the next Jaguar, which, by the way, fired its creative director a little while back, too.
I guess the woke army, which was controlling marketing and communications departments in the business area, in the business sectors, if you will, are losing influence.
And companies are just taking it back saying, we cannot be political.
This nation's too divided.
We cannot do this.
I guess the kids say screw around and find out.
And that's what happened with this particular Hilton.
I don't doubt this is happening somewhere else, though, by the way, or other cities.
I don't either.
I think it's, you know, we're seeing major shifts going on.
And they're hard to perceive at the same time that we are in the midst of the changes, but the changes are happening.
And the realignment, Mexico is probably next.
Mexico, Colombia, and Cuba are next.
And Trump's got his sights on Greenland.
We're going to do a very different configuration of power if the Western Hemisphere is declared to become a sphere of influence of the United States.
They're calling it, so the Monroe document.
They're calling it the Don Row document after Donald Trump.
But I think it makes sense.
Now, last, I want to, you know, my relationship with Swiss America is changing.
And I do get at the same time want people to go to our gold on the page and get this Walking Liberty half-dollar offer.
We get up to 250 of these coins that are mostly silver.
Fill out the form, talk with a Swiss America sales agent who is really a consultant.
They're not going to be pushy on you on sales.
They're going to try to figure out what your needs are and explain to you how you can benefit from owning some silver that will appreciate in value.
There's a lot of good information on the website in terms of the attack on the dollar and the loss of the purchasing power of the dollar.
So we're going to continue to support Swiss America and work with Swiss America.
And I'm hoping that we can establish a program that will be successful, getting gold and silver to people who listen to this program and who are involved in understanding the threat that we face to the global economy.
Last, we've got a copy of this free book.
The free book is, you know, I've written with Dean Heskin of how the coming global crash will create a historic gold rush.
Call 1-800-519-6268.
It's important.
Talk to Swiss America, get to understand how gold and silver investing can help you.
1-800-519-6268.
I think today is a day that is pretty much a reprise of the previous day's news.
It's a development of the stories rather than the introduction of some new dramatic story.
So we're getting a brief reprieve here, but I don't think it will last for long.
There'll be another development occurring relatively quickly that will refocus us and refocus the news.
In the end, God always wins.
God's going to win here too.
And please join me in 2 Chronicles 7:14 in getting down on our knees and asking God to forgive us for letting the country get to this point.
We need to return to God and return to understanding the importance of both the New Testament and the Old Testament, understanding the importance of both to salvation.
Christ was born a Jew.
We are anticipating that the second coming will also involve the Jewish people.
That's again, St. Paul was writing about that in Romans, I believe 1.9, I believe it was, but he was writing about it.
This is Dr. Jerome Courcy.
Thanks for joining us at Courcy Nation.
We'll be back tomorrow.
We're trying to do this show every weekday, and we'll be revising Coursey Nation Show once I'm out of transition and relocated, which was going to occur hopefully early in February.
Thank you for joining us.
