The Truth About What Happened and What's Happening with the January 6th Protesters: J6ers Speak Pt. 2
Dr. Jerome Corsi speaks directly with January 6th protesters after they were pardoned about what happened to them during the Biden DOJ's political persecution "process," what happened to many of them while in prison, what's happening to many of them today and how some of the J6 protesters have been helping others over the past three years. This is the second in a multi-part series where January 6th protesters speak frankly with Dr. Corsi about their experiences on that date and forward. This is Dr. Jerome Corsi and today we're going to go and work with the J6 and the veterans again.
I think we have a good show here for you, a very important show.
And Chris, we will bring on our guests.
We have with us today...
Joshua Macias.
Joshua is headed and continues to head the Vets for Trump and the J6Vets.org.
And Derek Storms.
Derek is the attorney for both groups and has worked very closely with Joshua and is down in Florida at a facility that...
Joshua is set up.
We're going to cover that pretty extensively here in a couple of minutes.
And we're also joined by Sherry Hafner.
Sherry is the Sapphire Patriot.
And Sherry, what's your website?
It is Sapphire Patriot on YouTube and Rumble.
Dot com?
Yeah.
It is a live stream.
It is currently not into a dot com at this time.
Okay, live stream on both.
Yes.
Fine.
Thank you very much.
I want to start out today.
Josh, why don't you give us an update of what's going on?
Because we've had a lot of developments.
Not all the J6ers are yet released.
We've got some issues now with the states who are looking like that we have district attorneys who are going to be a problem.
And we have one of the J6ers who's already been killed.
Josh, why don't you, the stage is yours, why don't you brief us on what's going on?
Yes, hello everybody.
Chaplain Josh from the csj6vets.org.
If you can highlight Josh, so Josh is up on the screen a little bit more visibly.
We'll come back to the others, but let's get Josh so everybody can watch him as Josh and me for a minute.
We can make that happen, Chris.
Okay, Josh, he'll get that engineered and we'll continue.
There we go.
Wonderful.
Perfect.
So it's you and me right now on the screen.
Thank you.
There we go.
So thank you again, Dr. Corsi, for having us on j6vets.org, OY66.org.
We're doing a lot of work right now helping our veterans in transition out of jail into our safety program.
Also working alongside with civilians in a sober living environment where we help encourage the Battle Buddy system for our veterans and for those who are looking to go to the next level.
Right now, as a J6 or myself, I've been focused on helping our veterans get out of the prisons and the BOP, wherever they are, and helping them to get back their lives again and their livelihood.
Help them to re-transplant if necessary, but ultimately to help them be more fruitful in their given life and endeavor.
And right now I can speak from validity with a few of our vets that are still inside.
That they are being messed around.
They're being maneuvered, moved to different facilities, or being told they're going to be released and then not having it happen.
They continue to cause problems for the families, helping those who are ready to start their life over again.
And this is happening at many levels.
We have many veterans that are being transported through Kentucky and outside other facilities.
They're stating that it's for state charges when the state's not prosecuting them.
So, we're dealing with a lot of finagling and manipulation.
How about how many veterans are still in and being transferred around?
Well, we have total 12 G6ers, and Sherry can speak to this, and we have four that are veterans that are still in the system.
So, there's still 12 that are in prison, and four are veterans.
And they're being moved because they're saying that there may be state charges brought against them by district attorneys?
Other states, yes, there's eight charges, so they want to extradite them to that state and then keep them in the federal system in order to make that happen.
But it's very disheartening because we know that they clearly are pardoned through to the poisonous tree.
Anything that was associated with that initial time that they were incarcerated should go away.
This is not...
These are state offenses involving...
The J-6 event, well, that should have...
I mean, I know that Donald Trump's authority is only to do a federal pardon, but...
These are also federal charges.
These are federal charges.
Yep, and Derek can speak more to this and others, of course, that I've asked for.
We'll get Derek into this, because this sounds to me a very suspicious line of legal reasoning.
Yes, and so speaking as a chaplain in community engagement and helping them transition is very difficult.
To establish the right pathways for them, to give them what they need in order to get their housing and their life back in order is always being yanked away from us.
They just keep pulling the rug out from underneath us when it comes to engaging and getting transportation.
So this is putting more duress on the families, more stress on the community, and you can imagine how many people this is affecting.
It's unimaginable.
I mean, the country expected when the pardon was given that the J6ers would be out.
And that was the expectation.
And now we see this deep state continuing.
I mean, the evil here.
I mean, the intent to punish these people and to continue to prolong their legal hostage situation for what was a protest.
Exactly what it is.
Exactly what it is.
It's all an attempt to just put another jab in their side, do another death by a thousand cuts, as many cuts as they can.
And to our community, that's important, especially to the veterans who served honorably.
Mike Neely, who's 24 years of U.S. Navy honorable service, can't get back on his feet again to even get his mother transported to his new apartment.
And it's very frustrating because every day we're anticipating release, and then that doesn't happen.
It's heartbreaking that that's going on.
And what about this Jay Sixer who was killed by a state police?
Yeah, I'd like to say May Matthew Huddle, rest in peace.
He died in Jasper County by the hands of a deputy.
And he was sentenced previously to six months of prison.
And he was pardoned.
And we lost him.
To what we're wondering, and we were still scratching our head on this, but this just happened on Sunday.
And we don't know if it was suicide by police or if it was something more nefarious.
And we want to get to the bottom of it.
Well, I'm going to ask Derek, are we impressed to get the body cam of the incident and see what happened?
We should be able to do that.
We should definitely be able to do that.
Now, talk a bit about...
The majority of the J6ers that were in prison have been released.
Talk about the adjustment.
They're finally out, they're finally back with their families, but they've gone through a tremendous trauma.
And the post-trauma stress syndrome has to be tremendous.
It's through the roof.
And even right now, I mean, because of the state attacks and the lies and manipulation with the Soros Funded DAs right now, There's even more pressure and trauma triggering that's occurring for many people, including family members.
This is not just the J6-er.
You have to do this multiplied by two degrees of separation just within the immediate family, let alone the friends and the co-workers and business partners.
This is secret relationships.
It's six degrees of separation.
The transition has been difficult, but one of joy.
Of course, we're grateful for liberty.
So grateful for President Trump for the release and the pardoning of 1,500.
And so they're just now getting their feet under them saying, wow, this is what new life is like for me, and not feeling like the boot is on their neck all the time.
So having that stress and that pressure has been released and very grateful, and now they have to start the hard work.
I mean, just right now, gaining food in their system, you can imagine what it's like to have a steak again after three years, you know, what it's like to then...
I feel the release that you can travel without having to tell so-and-so where you're going or check in with such-and-such, and others who, like Gabriel Garcia, were housebound and couldn't even leave.
Well, I'm thrilled they're out, and I think everybody needs to appreciate that this adjustment is going to take time, and there's going to be fallout in this adjustment.
As I say, my marriage of 32 years fell apart after They wanted to put me in prison.
I went through all of that.
So I understand what post-trauma stress syndrome and how it affects people.
People change.
And it's a real symptom.
It's real.
It's real.
The pressure, the neuroplasticity, the amount of stress that occurs and without release.
I mean, there's no way to release this type of stress.
Specifically, when you're talking about PTSD in this area.
And you also have a lot of medical training.
Do you want to explain that, too, for people to understand your medical background?
Yes.
So, while previously I was training for search and rescue when I was in the military, I got into a pretty major accident, which took me out.
Then I finished honorably in 2002, in which time I became a biomedical engineer and worked inside of the Centera Network as a biomedical manager.
I was one of the youngest ones within GE Healthcare at the time and served alongside doctors, clinicians, you name it.
Anything to do within the hospital system, because as the lead person who had to deal with biomedical, anything that plugged in and touched the patient, I had to know about it, sign off on it, make sure that it worked and functioned.
I was, at the time, working on my MD-PhD, and I finished two degrees in IT as we were focusing on the transition of records of analog to digital.
I was there part of that transition.
And then I laid my head into IO psychology, PhD candidacy before I joined into Trump and with the VA reform.
So my background is experience in technology, real estate, and medical and engineering.
It all came to the center as we were talking about VA reform and still does to this day as we implement the 10.V reform plan we launched back in 2016. Let's bring in Derek now, talk both about the legal issues and about the facility in Florida.
So, Chris, if you'll bring, keep Joshua on the screen, let's bring, thank you.
So, Derek, you're now in Florida.
You want to tell us where you are and explain?
Hi, Dr. Corsi.
So, I'm actually at one of Joshua's facilities, veteran facilities in Florida.
This is, I was shocked at the size.
Of this complex, Josh?
How many units, different actual buildings are there here?
So there's, we have six buildings and we have four apartment buildings that are all six-story and one that's eight-story, a total of 270 apartments and commercial space.
And I'm in one of them right now.
You can see behind me, I mean, Dr. Corsi, this is very nice facilities, really just, it's incredible.
Yeah, that's right.
I spoke to...
All brand new.
Terrific.
Oh, brand new.
There's a beautiful gym fitness center, a large swimming pool.
He has an exceptional staff.
I've met pretty much everybody here.
One gentleman in particular was...
He was an Army veteran that was homeless.
Prior to coming to Josh, and I spent more than an hour speaking with him.
Josh has employed him as his superintendent in one of the buildings, and this man was just telling me how it transformed his life.
Josh focuses heavily on the spiritual, on rebuilding these men and women, and he really opened up to me about how...
You know, he was at rock bottom.
You know, he tried normal mental health.
They just wanted to medicate him and things of that nature.
And it was a spiritual component.
And they really keep after.
These vets here.
So it's absolutely incredible.
We may get him on eventually, Dr. Corsi, because he's a very talented artist.
He was showing me some of his artwork, and he's going to start transitioning into MAGA themes and writing and Patriot stuff.
So just a life-changing story there.
But yeah, it's an exceptional facility.
Going back to the veterans, you know, I feel like, I'm sorry, the J6ers, I feel like what's been going on with this, it almost feels like the 2016 election results that day.
We remember that we all knew Trump won, but they would not.
Say he won.
It was days and days and days.
They wouldn't say he won.
I think that's kind of what they're doing with the whole J6ers.
They're doing everything they can to hold on to these hostages because they do not want us to have a win.
And we will have a win, but they do not want us to have momentum because they know that we're starting to gain momentum.
And we're starting to put the pressure on them.
And just like Trump has been doing in this first week in office, one thing after another.
I mean, his first week in office was more productive than Biden's four years by far.
And we're going to be doing the same with the J6ers, with Project Primary, going after these unscrupulous politicians that serve themselves and not serve the people.
We're going to expose them.
Their pictures will be on our website.
Their voting record will be on our website.
Their corporate donor base will be on our website.
And people will see who they are so that when it comes time for them to face primary in two years or six years if they're in the Senate, we will have challengers for them.
We will have a sophisticated grassroots operation that I'm working with many talented organizations.
One of them I've been speaking to that flipped Pueblo County in Colorado.
They flipped it from red to blue.
I'm sorry, they flipped it from blue to red.
And they have just an outstanding ground game.
They had a mathematician on there going through statistics.
Very high-level campaigning.
And we want to teach others their tactics so that we can get...
We can get politicians that serve the people, because that's what we...
Yes, veterans.
Veterans to rise up into that space.
Yeah, I think more veterans to run for office is a good idea.
And I also would think about recalling some of these people, politicians, not just waiting to primary them, because recall is immediate.
And they want to wreck your entire...
They want to wreck Trump's presidency.
They want to wreck the J6ers who are...
Still in prison and those who are out hold over their heads that there could be additional charges or they're under additional investigation or scrutiny.
They're now targeted.
Well, let's make the lives of these politicians miserable today.
Absolutely.
We have to fight today not to be recalled.
Let's not wait for the primary.
Let's do it now.
Well, we'll hit every angle we can.
Some of these people, unfortunately, are entrenched, such as Lindsey Graham, who has been bad-mouthing our J6 veterans, who has been stating they shouldn't have received pardons.
He's a war hawk.
If there's ever the slightest innuendo of a war, he's pitching for World War III. He wants our veterans in harm's way.
But he does little to nothing to assist them.
So he's the kind of politician that needs to be exposed and the rest of these rhinos, they need to get out of office and it's a very difficult thing because they're entrenched.
I mean, Lindsey Graham's operation honestly reminds me of who's the gentleman out of was it Harry Reid?
Yes, Harry Reid.
He had a very sophisticated Entrenched ground game operation.
A lot of these politicians, that's all they care about is being elected and re-elected in the future.
That's right.
That's their paycheck.
Once they can get re-elected, they're back in the gravy train.
That's it.
We need to take that on and that's part of the accountability that we promised our J6 hostages that step one was getting them out.
That was the first battle and we still are in that battle.
But the second battle...
Is going to be the offense.
And we're going to be launching pincer movements on these evildoers in government from FBI, corrupt FBI officials, intel agencies, the politicians that support and allow it, the biased judges, and the complicit media who goes along with it, not to mention the corporate, large corporations.
Who allow it all to happen, such as, let me name one, Bank of America, which we believe gave up many J6ers bank records, and I believe it was done potentially illegally, but certainly in property.
You don't do that to your customer base.
So we are going to expose, this is going to be the second battle.
It is going to be a ferocious battle, but it will be waged very tough.
And it's also going to be in the media, as you know, Dr. Corsi.
This is information warfare as well, and that's why Josh and I are going to be on as many podcasts as possible.
We were just on a very good one yesterday.
I believe, what was that, Robert?
Stephen Frost is a group of international doctors who came together on COVID, and that, by the way, will be on Rumble, and it will be seen.
It's permanently archived on Rumble.
So that's going to be seen a lot.
And I'm going to encourage you to, on that broadcast and others, you know, mine are published on X. Like them, share them with your group.
You know, get these podcasts out so they're seen.
I'm still shadow banned on X. A lot of people are shadow banned.
But the more of us that fight it, the more these get seen.
And so, you know, this is a, it's got to be a campaign that we wage long term.
Absolutely.
The next thing that's going to begin to happen, there should be some criminal investigations here as to what was done to the J-6ers.
And I think we should investigate and find out what this J-6 committee did.
If they've been pardoned, the J-6 committee can now be questioned under oath.
They don't have the Fifth Amendment protection.
We can find out all who are working with them, where they were getting their information.
Who their sources were?
And if they lie, they can go to prison.
So we can have a complete investigation of this now.
And if we determine that the forces behind this were Barack Obama or those who gave the orders, we can find out.
So suddenly, I mean, these pardons, Biden gave these pardons.
I'm not sure he wasn't putting...
Milley and the J6 Committee and Fauci into harm's way because now suddenly they have no recourse but to talk.
That's right.
That's right.
And he didn't pardon himself and he certainly didn't pardon everybody.
He didn't pardon himself.
So we will.
That's a good point that you mentioned.
We are requesting the files from Justice and FBI, the internal government files.
We want to know what the intelligence agencies were doing.
We want to know.
Which government agencies had covert operatives that infiltrated these J6 groups months in advance and coerced them to enter the Capitol.
Because they never had any intent to enter that Capitol.
The only intent was a peaceful protest.
They brought their signage.
We love America.
We love Trump.
And they brought American flags.
That's it.
There were evildoers in the government.
Who incited them to enter that Capitol, and we will be seeking those files.
And I'm sure, Dr. Corsi, if we get them, we will give them to you, and you will have an absolute field day with those files.
Well, I'm looking forward to that.
We've got Sherry in here in a second, but one more question I want to ask, and that is, you know, a lot of the, if this was entrapment, and I'm confident it was, there could be crimes committed in an entrapment scheme as well.
I mean, there are rules as to how entrapment can be done, and if these went over the rules, in other words, if they committed crimes in order to induce you to commit crimes that you weren't otherwise inclined to commit, that might be criminal activity on their part.
We will be looking into that.
One thing we're looking at right now is potential civil RICO. If we can satisfy all the elements of civil RICO, We will be suing unscrupulous officials and agencies that broke the law.
And we need to get compensation for our J6ers.
Yes, absolutely.
You don't just put people away for years and say, oh, we made a mistake.
We're pardoned.
Thank God President Trump did the right thing by pardoning them.
We need to restore these men and women lives, and we're going to be fighting ferociously to do that.
Well, there's a justice element here.
It needs to be rectified.
We need to set this right.
And so, therefore, the economic pain, I mean, I can see class action suits.
I can see a lot of legal actions that can be taken.
And there may be criminal violations against many parties.
Including these state DAs who don't want to give up, who may be Soros-appointed or state attorney generals against police officers who may harass these J6ers.
I think we need to be on the alert that there are elements in government and in law enforcement and in the communities that can be held responsible for their subsequent actions.
You now have people pardoned and they need to be treated.
With their rights intact.
That's right.
Rights are fully restored.
They can vote again.
They can travel.
They can have a right to bear arms.
Their rights are fully restored.
And they do not bear to be punished or discriminated against for political reasons by Soros prosecutors or by woke police.
And these things need to be vigilantly pursued in the release period of time that we're entering into now.
Yes. - Yes, and Soros needs to be closely examined.
Him, everybody that surrounds him, the politicians that he's connected to, we need to do a very in-depth investigation of that.
And it's going to be very interested to see what comes out of that.
And I'm going to work with the contractors who are going to be involved in this whole deportation effort.
In securing the border and the like, there's going to be a lot of contractors involved and they should be looking to hire vets.
They should be looking to hire the J6ers who are qualified.
They should be looking to create employment opportunities.
These are trained, skilled people.
Yes, we have hundreds of veterans that are coming out that are standing at the ready to do good work and be more fruitful and be mission-oriented.
And for them, this is a great mission.
To be tied in and put to work to support America First policy.
This is a first initiative.
I'm willing to help you create structures where we have an organization that's devoted to this and that we contact the contractors.
We contact the people who are going to be in this business.
We introduce ourselves and we make pathways for the veterans.
Training, we're encompassing their training.
Yes, all of that is part of our workforce development.
Yeah, we need to do that for the veterans.
And I can see creating an organization, maybe an extension of what you're doing.
We'll talk about that offline, but we'll figure that out because I'm beginning to be in touch with several contractors.
We want to get them involved.
Let's bring Sherry in now to the conversation as well.
I'm going to share out of here.
Sherry's going to take it from here.
She's going to give us a SITREP. And thank you, Sherry, for all that you do volunteering with our community.
You're amazing.
And what a supporter, U.S. Air Force veteran.
I'm going to pass it over to you guys.
I trust your judgment.
God bless Godspeed.
I'll see you soon, Derek.
Thank you, Josh.
God bless you.
God bless you.
Well, Sherry, you want to give us your background and your situation report and let us know what you're up to.
And Derek will stay with us and we'll look forward to a very good conversation.
So, Sherry, the floor is yours.
Well, thank you, Dr. Corsi and Attorney Storms for having me on.
Boy, this has been a journey.
This has been a two and a half year journey for me.
I started with a freedom movement that spent 34 days on the National Mall to redress our grievances with our government.
We couldn't get anyone to speak to us.
We marched to different federal facilities every single day and no one would give us the time to have a conversation.
When my freedom movement got ready to leave the National Mall, we heard about a vigil that Ashley Babbitt's mom was doing behind the D.C. jail.
And we decided to go check it out, see what she was doing.
And at that time, 72% of the J6ers being held in the D.C. gulag were decorated combat veterans.
I myself am a decorated combat veteran.
And I took an oath never to leave a man behind.
Those were my men.
They are still my men.
And from that day forward, I continued to stand with Ashley Babbitt's mom, Mickey Woodhawk, behind the D.C. jail to give a voice to the J6ers.
They would call us on the phone at night, and we would put that phone up to a speaker so that thousands of people on different live streams could hear the stories of the J6ers from they themselves.
From their family members.
We were very instrumental in getting so many things changed within the D.C. jail.
And not only for, that would benefit our J6ers, but also that would benefit all of the prisoners there.
You know, this vigil was started by Ashley Babbitt's mom.
You know, Ashley came to her in a dream and said, Mom, you gotta get up.
You got to be my voice.
You got to be their voice.
We have to do this together.
And Mickey showed up in D.C. behind the D.C. jail.
And it's been such an honor to stand with her, not only to get freedom for all the J6ers, but to also bring light to her fight to get justice for Ashley Babbitt's murder.
And Ashley Babbitt was not the only one murdered that day.
So was Roseanne Boylan, someone that you don't hear of very often.
She was beat to death on the Capitol steps at the head of the tunnel by Officer Lila Morris.
She was bloodied and unconscious, and this woman continued to beat her with a metal baton.
People, so many of the patriots around her saw that she was unconscious, saw that she was bleeding, and just simply tried to get this officer to stop beating her.
Those very same individuals were facing felony charges for assault on a police officer simply for holding up their hands to keep her from beating Roseanne further.
Benjamin Phillip and Kevin Greeson both fatally induced heart attacks from flash grenades.
Died right there at the Capitol.
We need justice for their murders.
Because it absolutely was a murder.
They used munitions that they were not allowed to use on the civilian public.
They had no authorization to use it.
They went off extremely close right next to these two gentlemen.
They caused a fatal heart attack in both of them.
The police officer that you hear was killed on January 6th was an absolutely false story.
Brian Sicknick.
Brian Sicknick did not die because he was slammed in the head by a protester with a fire extinguisher.
His head was not slammed between the doors which caused his death.
Officer Brian Sicknick suffered from a stroke.
In which his fellow officers took him and laid him on a couch and left him for hours without medical attention.
When they finally did give him medical attention and he was taken to the hospital, he died from his stroke due to not getting the immediate attention that he deserved.
He did not die on January 6, but he did die from natural causes of a stroke on January 7. You know, it's been an honor to stand at this vigil for 906 days till we saw what we could possibly do to release every J6 out of the jails from across the nation.
Yes, we do still have a few left.
And we haven't stopped fighting.
As a matter of fact, Friday I'm going to be picking up Mr. Darryl Neely and his mother to help facilitate in getting them home to Josh's facility to help him because he is a veteran and he deserves that help.
And not only do these veterans that have been prosecuted for January 6th, many of these have no criminal history whatsoever.
They have lost all of their military benefits.
All of their honors, that is what needs restored to our veterans.
And even if they weren't veterans, these great men and women need their honor restored.
They need their good names back.
They need to be taken off of these terrorist lists and no-fly zones.
And they, you know, out of everything we've heard from so many of the J6ers that we've talked to, They want their good name restored.
They don't just want to be pardoned.
They want to make sure that everyone that pushed this false narrative and destroyed their lives, that the truth comes out.
It's not about for so many, it's not about justice for them, but justice for our country, to restore the judicial system.
You know, I can't tell you how many times I have heard Mr. Gregory Purdy and his uncle, Robert Turner, say, you know, it's not about us.
We want America back.
We want our true justice system to just function the way it was intended to, and that's what we want to fight.
So we finished up our vigil at 906 days here in D.C. And what a bittersweet day that was.
But I am still in the area and I am still advocating for those who are still incarcerated.
My plan going forward is to assist some of our J6ers.
As you know, CPAC is coming up.
And I have a feeling CPAC is going to be heavily inundated with J6ers and their stories this year.
And I really look forward to working with Gregory Purdy and Robert Turner and so many of the others that I have gotten to know and love.
And getting their stories out.
And Greg has started some of the civil suits.
He will have everything in place for the first civil suit for each individual J6-er to be able to print, copy it, sign it, and turn it in.
Gregory will be doing anywhere from $50,000 to $80,000 worth of legal preparation for the first lawsuit for these individuals.
And I know he's also going to be working on very large civil suits as well.
So, Dr. Coursey, I am honored to be here today and to have you allow me to tell my story.
It has been a journey that I never thought that I would ever be involved in.
I am here because God led me here.
And I have finished this journey with so many great Americans that I would have never otherwise met or got to love.
And God bless Mickey and her journey to get justice for Ashley.
Well, we're honored to have you here and to hear your story.
You'll be working, Josh will be involved with a lot of this, and so will Derek, because there will be cases developed out of this.
Yes.
And when is the CPAC? It's coming up fairly soon, isn't it?
I believe it's February 19th.
February 19th, okay.
And I think you will have quite a few of the J6ers there.
Are there panels being set up for the J6? Do you know?
I don't know at this time.
I do know that I believe it's American News Network developed by Chris.
I know that he's going to be there.
He has asked for me to assist him as well in getting as many J6 stories out as we can.
And I know that all the conservative outlets that will be there will just be absolutely elated to have a J6 or featured on the program.
I think that's right.
I think that's right.
And, you know, Derek, I want to ask you, in hearing all these stories and how much people have suffered, I mean, it's incredible to me the degree to which, let's just take this point, the veterans who have lost benefits.
Did the veterans lose benefits because they were convicted?
Absolutely.
A lot of these veterans that were incarcerated for a year or more automatically had their VA disability benefits terminated and potentially other benefits.
So I don't know if that has been restored at this point, but we need to look into that among other among other ramifications that they had to their lives.
I mean, obviously, many of them lost their jobs.
They suffered divorce.
They, you know, didn't see their children's birthdays.
You know, some of them with little children, you know, didn't see their first kids walk.
I mean, these are moments that can never be compensated no matter how much money we get to them.
So that's why, in addition to getting them compensation, we need to make sure this never, ever happens again.
And thank God for people like Sherry who were out there day in, day out.
I was fortunate enough to meet Sherry.
I was out there for two nights in the bitter cold.
Sherry was out there.
She was calling.
Our hostages, she had a phone on speaker and with the microphone up to the phone and it was broadcasted to a speaker for everyone to hear.
And, you know, we could hear our hostages in there.
We could hear our guys.
We could hear, you know, the elatement in their voices just speaking to us and knowing that we were there fighting for them.
Thank you for that, Sherry.
I don't know how cold it was.
I think it was probably around 10, 15 degrees those two nights.
I think average was about 13, yes.
It was freezing.
We were out there all night long, Dr. Corsi.
But there was such a...
Good support network.
There was a little food truck where people had hot cocoa going, and you could get a little soup and things like that.
But as Sherry said, these are just some of the greatest patriots.
These are the true heroes of America that are in the shadows fighting for our freedoms, fighting for our constitutional rights.
And I certainly hope that they are featured at CPAC and exemplified as...
As the heroes that they are.
Yeah, I'd like you to look into that and let me know what the CPAC coverage is going to be.
See if I can help make that, you know, whatever impact I can have on CPAC, see if I can't get them to make sure they cover it.
The J6ers you were talking to in the Washington Gulag were under miserable conditions, many of them, right?
Oh, absolutely.
And initially when Mickey first started the vigil, These men couldn't call out for the longest time.
But when they did start calling out, they would tell us about the filth and mold.
Many times they had cleaning agents and human hairs in their food.
They couldn't get a box of cereal without rat feces in it.
They didn't have any other than calling out.
They weren't allowed in-person visits.
And up until about eight months ago, they didn't have video visitation.
We were instrumental in getting them extra blankets during the winter.
There were times during the winter when the entire jail completely turned off the heat.
It was 30 to 40 degrees in those cells.
And when they started pleading to us, we not only got more blankets for our J6ers, but we were instrumental in getting two extra blankets for every single inmate in that jail.
Oftentimes, they would crank the heat up to 95 degrees during the winter.
And because of the...
Outpouring support through our live streams, we were able to get them to turn that heat down.
Sometimes it would take a week or two, but we were instrumental in doing that.
The food improved greatly with our advocacy.
We were able to get them in-person visitation through our advocacy.
We had one gentleman who was a quadriplegic from a spinal cord injury.
He had recently been incarcerated and he was ordered to be on a bottom bunk.
Well, the cellmate that they put him with was also ordered to be on a bottom bunk.
This gentleman fell out of the top bunk, lost feeling in his legs.
Now, he came back from being a quadriplegic to walking and everything.
He rehabilitated himself to that degree.
And when he fell off of that top bunk, he lost feeling in his legs.
He was in pain.
His arm was starting to go numb.
His hand was starting to tingle.
He knew that there was additional damage.
He went for weeks begging for treatment, begging to be taken to medical to get checked out.
And it wasn't until he called out to our vigil and got messages through the texting app.
That we were able to start advocating for him.
And within two weeks, that man was not only taken to the hospital, he was given pain meds, he was given steroids, and he was taken out of the regular jail unit and put into the medical unit where he was at least able to get into a bed that he could...
Not have to take a chance of falling out of, and he was getting the meds that he required.
So it's been amazing at the changes that we've been able to make for all of these guys.
And even if it hasn't been here at the D.C. jail, you know, we've had patriots all over the country standing outside of jails advocating, even if there was just one or two J6ers in that jail.
We've all collectively made a difference for them.
We've improved the conditions.
But not only that, our J6ers have seen and experienced firsthand what these jails have become.
How inhumane they have become.
How people's not only constitutional rights, but their God-given human rights.
are just stripped away when they're in jail.
They know that they are a commodity for that jail, just for that jail to simply make money on.
They're not there to basically even help survive.
We were also able to build up these guys' commissary because the food was so unbelievably horrible and dangerous for that matter.
We had patriots that would donate to their commissaries, and they were able to buy food outside of the kitchen that they could at least eat a little bit healthier.
And, you know, our guys in the D.C. Gulag, they even went so far as to when they would be sent extra commissary, they would...
All come together and put care packages together so that if a new prisoner came in with absolutely nothing, they had everything they needed until they were able to start getting their own commissary.
These guys in the D.C. Gulag have such a brotherhood and they came together and, you know, a big old Barnett when he was there in the D.C. Gulag.
He started singing the national anthem at 9 o'clock every single night.
And even after he left, every patriot that passed through that D.C. gulag and that patriot pod have carried on his tradition with us outside of the vigil of singing the national anthem at 9 o'clock every single night.
And you know, even though they're not in jail anymore, there is a national campaign to make sure That at 9 o'clock Eastern Standard Time every single night that we ask every American to stop.
Remember your freedoms and those who sacrificed for them and join the J6ers and sing the national anthem.
What about access to lawyers?
Were they denied, the J6ers and the Washington Gulag, were they denied access to their attorneys?
They were denied.
Many of them that had pre-scheduled visits with their attorney, the guards would just forget about them, or they'd take them to a spot that their attorney was never in.
There were cases where the attorneys were not permitted access, and very often the attorneys didn't show up because so many of the public defenders that We're supposed to represent these men and women.
They were only there for the paycheck.
They were only there to get these guys to conform to the government's narrative, sign the papers, admit to all this stuff that you didn't do, and we're going to make your life a lot easier.
We all know that didn't happen.
Many of these lawyers didn't work for the J6ers.
Many of them just left them out to dry.
Many of them that did.
It would take months and months to get feedback from their lawyers.
All of the J6 defendants, until Gregory Purdy was granted access to represent himself and his uncle, everyone was denied the ability to access discovery for their own cases.
They weren't given The appropriate laptops to be able to go in and find their discovery.
They would get other people to send the discovery to their lawyers.
And oftentimes the lawyers would never watch the video.
And admittedly, I didn't watch the videos.
What's in them?
Oh, we can't use that.
Never mind.
Oftentimes, the people in D.C. were not granted access to their lawyers or their lawyers just really dropped the ball on them, got them to sign their plea deals and left them rot, didn't fight for them in court when the government came after them, and with all these stories and videos that had nothing to do with their case.
Their lawyers wouldn't stand up and object.
They wouldn't stand up and say, listen, I have refuting evidence of that.
They just wouldn't do it.
Or oftentimes, the court would not allow the evidence to be presented.
Sherry, give out.
This is Sherry Hafner.
Why don't you give out again how people can find you?
You can find me on Sapphire Patriot on YouTube and also Sapphire Patriot 8 on Rumble.
And I think, Derek, I think we, you know, as we get into these stories and hear what happened and the details of what happened, there's so much here to have to reform.
In other words, the whole Public Defender program is effectively, No representation at all, a representation that's going to not be to your advantage.
They're not going to fight for you.
That's right.
We need major reforms in the public defender program.
We need major reforms in how prosecutors hand over evidence, particularly exculpatory evidence.
There are many cases where the prosecutors gave a data dump of one terabyte or more data, and they said, Find what you need to find in it.
You can't be expected to do that.
So we need major, major reforms for our judiciary system.
And just to put the point on this, to really put this in context, we don't call this the D.C. Gulag just because it's a catchy term.
This was by far...
The most horrific conditions.
Our hostages were kept at about 80 facilities throughout the United States.
The D.C. Gulag was substantially worse than any other facility combined.
I've spoken to many J6ers that said other facilities were not so bad.
The D.C. facility was an absolute hellhole.
And I think part of what we need to do on the accountability issue is we need to end D.C. local home rule.
They cannot be trusted to govern that city.
They are biased individuals that will do anything they can to weaponize every facility they can against political opponents.
And this was part of it.
And part of what I think we need to campaign for is ending D.C. home rule because we cannot allow this to happen again.
And we cannot allow the people's rights to be violated with impunity.
There must be repercussions.
And I think this will be a vast, vast repercussion for D.C.
And Derek, how do people reach you?
Thank you.
You can reach me through just the J6 organization.
We're working on some websites right now.
We're going to come up with projectprimary.com, which should be up in the next few weeks or so.
My contact information will be on that.
And on Project Primary, we will have many of our politicians, many rhinos.
We will have their voting records.
We will have their donors.
We will have statements that they make to the media.
We will have the district that they're in.
Whether they're in the House or Senate, we will have the date that they're up for primary election again, and we will be facilitating primary challengers from the bottom up, which is the way it should be.
Not the top-down, so that we can get these unscrupulous individuals out of office and take our country back.
So I will, Dr. Corsi, over the next few interviews, we will be sharing those websites with you.
Great.
Look forward to it.
We're going to continue this series of shows.
We'll certainly devote a couple days a week to doing this at a minimum.
And when there's new developments, we'll follow it until we get resolution of these issues.
This fight has only just begun.
And now that we have the J6ers largely out, we now need to get their lives back together.
And we need to now let the nation know what happened.
And hopefully we'll have a Justice Department here that will be determined to pursue these injustices.
There's redress of these grievances, redresses of the crimes that were committed against the J6ers, and hopefully a protection that it won't ever happen again.
Yes.
And again, this is going to be a battle, and your testimony is essential in it, and we're honored to have you with us, and thank you, God bless, for what you've done.
In the end, God always wins.
God's going to win here, too.
That's right.
And fighting the battle is our responsibility.
Winning the battle is God's responsibility.
We fight the battle.
God will win it.
Thank you, Doctor.
Thank you.
Thank you for joining us.
This is Dr. Jerome Corsi with the TruthCentral.com doing podcasts every weekday.
