We're doing a podcast every weekday.
Let's do the first story.
First story is, I think, an important one.
It's a question about how Trump's indictment could backfire on Joe Biden.
And I've been following this very carefully because Trump's indictment on First Amendment charges, which is what the case is about.
It's a First Amendment case, not treason, not sedition.
You know, that's really what the Democrats are concerned about because they want to portray January 6th as trying to overturn a legitimate election.
Now, Trump has given a stage here for retrying the election because he's going to be able to say, look, I thought it was stolen.
I have free speech rights, First Amendment rights.
And so he can bring in all the evidence he wants at the that, in fact, to prove that the election was stolen.
And that's going to be laid in front of the American people.
Now, essentially, because he was not this is this is like his second impeachment.
You know, it's basically another impeachment trial, because they don't want him to become president.
And it's a stage that our politics have never been.
I mean, the truth is, in the early years of the Republic, there was a lot of rancor over who was going to get president.
I mean, a lot of fighting over it.
A lot of those elections were bitterly contested.
And early on, Jefferson was despairing that the Republic would work at all.
And again, in human events and the way people behave, Nothing is certain.
The only thing that's certain is you're going to have problems.
It's going to go wrong.
Now, the grounds of this are very, very flimsy in terms of the case of the prosecution.
Now, Biden has got to understand that this is going to backfire on him because it highlights all of his corruption, whereas Trump is going to press the case that he was convinced that the election was rigged, and he can produce evidence of that effect.
Now, there's also another case, and that was USP Alvarez, It overturned a First Amendment case.
It overturned the conviction of a politician for knowingly lying about his military background.
Now, that's a precedential case.
Now, the Democrats will probably ignore that on the Supreme Court if it gets to it, but it is a precedential case.
So, the problem is that the effect of these lies did not, if they could prove Trump was lying, and I don't see how they can, They're not going to be able to have criminal intent because he was telling the truth.
He was telling what he thought was the truth.
Even if he did lie, there's cases that, as I pointed out, this Alvarez case, which would support Trump as being able to lie even.
So you could use the same issue against Biden because Biden has lied consistently about his corruption.
Endless statements on the record about, I didn't meet with, I didn't know what was going on with my son, Hunter.
And now we've got on the record that this Devlin Archer has been given immunity.
He's perfectly willing to talk to anybody and say that the big guy was in on these meetings and it was an influence peddling.
They talked about the weather.
It was the fact they could produce Biden.
That Hunter could produce his dad, which many could get favors.
So the corruption scandal is now going to be front and center.
And the first hurdle is whether or not they're going to try to imprison or gag somehow or other Trump before the trial.
I think that's going to be very hard to do.
But Archer is a problem for Biden in that he's been given immunity.
And he now can say whatever he wants to say.
And he's not going to be prosecuted for anything he did in that corruption scandal.
He's being prosecuted for another scam he ran on with the Indian reservation.
So Biden is here thinking that they're going to block Trump from being president, if Biden's thinking at all.
And it's a calculated risk.
The Democrats are so insane, hating Trump, that their insanity is driving them to engage in a strategy, which I think is going to backfire.
And it's certainly going to backfire with the American people.
If the American people don't wake up and see what this is doing, if they just go along and say, well, we can have another rigged election, nobody's going to care, or nobody's going to do anything about it.
The system is that corrupt.
Then it's beyond repair.
We're headed for a situation which I fear to think what could happen, but the United States is rapidly self-destroying.
Chris, do you want to comment on this?
This is one I'd like to have you weigh in on this one because this one's a very important comment I'm making.
The funny thing is the Biden administration is working very hard on jailing a political rival.
Something that the mainstream media was jumping on Trump for only for calling to invest or issuing a phone call to investigate corruption of a past administration.
Remember people do forget at that time Joe Biden was not a declared candidate.
At this time President Donald Trump is a declared candidate.
We're seeing exactly what they're doing.
And they're not hiding it.
That might be the bigger issue than them actually doing what they're doing.
When I went to school, when I went to college, there was always talk of the independent journalist, which was dying around the 1990s at that time.
But we used to hear that journalists would challenge authority, would find a way to get questions answered.
Nowadays, and this has been a trend that's switched over the last maybe 30, 40 years, we see stenographers, we see people that allow maybe a certain ideological side to slide by with everything.
The mainstream media is completely captivated by this woke agenda, period.
Exactly.
But also, it's the glamour.
If you see who's married to who and who's related to who when it comes to big wigs in the mainstream media and in the Democrat Party, you'll find out exactly why a lot of these people get away with things as well.
Well, there's a lot of that going on in terms of Mitch McConnell's under a great deal of stress right now after he had that feigning spell or whatever it was.
And his wife, Chow, is a wealthy family in China, and of course, Family only exists in China, allowed to continue breathing because Mitch McConnell is doing what the Chinese want.
Another good example, the mainstream media is jumping on McConnell to retire.
Did we hear anything about Feinstein or Fetterman?
No, nothing, nothing, absolutely nothing.
Again, it's the political bias that is against anything that is for America.
The second story I want to cover, this Judge Eileen Cannon, who is the Florida-based judge, Uh, this Jack Smith, this prosecutor, who is again, another hate Trump, solid hard left.
Department of Justice is completely politicized.
They're weaponizing justice today.
Uh, she's asking why Smith is continuing the grand jury in DC, which is an out of state jurisdiction.
This is a Florida case and it isn't necessarily unconstitutional, but it's unusual.
And so therefore, she wants to know why he's brought 40 federal counts in Florida for the alleged illegal retention of U.S.
defense information related to 337 documents, but it's under an Espionage Act case.
It's not under a classified documents indictment.
So, essentially, they're saying that Trump, somehow or other, was giving this information to our enemies.
That's what the espionage cases were.
They date back to 1917, during World War I. They were against seditionists at that time, who were basically revolutionaries, the early socialists, bomb throwers, they would call them.
And these indictments, which Trump is likely to beat, just like he beat the two impeachments, are going to be disruptive in terms of running a political campaign.
2024 is an election year, and Trump is the leading candidate by far among the Republican field.
Now, this Espionage Act, the prosecutions under it were very, very few.
And I guess Eugene Debs, the socialist labor union leader in the World War I era, was imprisoned for a speech he gave in Dayton, Ohio, anti-war speech.
Now, what's going to happen is, well, Debs ran from president from jail and got a million votes.
Well, there's nothing preventing Trump from running for president in prison.
And if he's elected, what do you do?
I mean, is he going to have Secret Service in prison?
Is he going to run the country from prison?
I mean, this is an absurd situation.
So, in an August 7th order, which was yesterday, Cannon directed the Department of Justice to address the legal propriety of using an out-of-district grand jury proceeding to continue to investigate and or seek post-indictment hearings on matters pertaining to the instant indicted matter in this district.
And she's got a good point.
And I'm happy to see this judge is going to enforce the law And Trump will not get a bad deal here.
But in the other case, being tried in Washington, D.C., there's no way he's going to get a fair trial.
Because 95% of the voters in Washington D.C.
voted for Biden, and the judge was appointed by Obama.
So I faced the judges in D.C., federal judges, when I was being, you know, Mueller wanted to put me in prison because they thought I knew something about Assange, had contact with Assange.
They offered me a plea deal.
I refused it.
I sued the Department of Justice.
The justices there wouldn't even hear the case.
The case got heard.
It got dismissed as soon as they could dismiss it.
And they weren't going to take it seriously.
The Department of Justice showed up to argue their case.
They were disorganized, didn't even present a coherent argument.
It didn't matter.
The judge had already made up her mind.
Amy Jackson Berman had made up her mind.
And that's the problem with politicized justice, is that when you get into politicized justice, there is no justice.
Okay, let's move on to the next story.
I thought this was also extremely interesting for the things I'm thinking about these days, is that we had Victor Davis Hanson, who I do admire greatly.
He has written an article today And what he's saying is that essentially America is going through a time which is a remaking of America.
We're going through a paradigm shift.
So we're in the midst of one of the most radical revolutions in American history.
It is far-reaching and dangerous, as much so as the turbulent years of the 1850s and 1860s Civil War, or the 1930s, the Depression.
Every aspect of American life and culture is under assault.
Including the very processes by which we govern ourselves and the manner in which we live.
So you can't trust the courts, you can't trust the Department of Justice, you can't trust these democratic mayors and these democratic cities to enforce the law.
And the way we live, you know, if there's not going to be men and women, if they have transgenders teaching kids in kindergarten that they can pick their gender.
We're into a schizophrenic confusion in which human beings don't function very well in this kind of a condition, because the truth is malleable.
It's completely shifting.
It's whatever someone wants it to be, and that's the problem with this post-modernism.
Which has infected now the Neo-Marxism.
So these Neo-Marxists, who are revolutionaries, will attack carbon dioxide to get rid of hydrocarbon fuels.
There's no link between carbon dioxide and global warming.
Global warming is probably not happening.
It's a warm summer.
We had warm summers in the 1930s.
We had warm summers in this medieval warming period.
We've had other, going back hundreds of thousands of years, we've had many warming periods.
The earth goes through an elliptical orbit.
When it gets close to the sun, it's warmer.
When it's circular, as it gets more egg-shaped, we begin to have ice ages.
These are the kinds of effects, not carbon dioxide, that affect climate.
But these people don't care.
The truth doesn't matter.
It's their own psychological construction of truth that they want to push forward.
So he's saying free speech in large swatches of America, particularly the corporation, the media, government, public schools, university, it's dangerous to speak freely.
Yeah, you could get canceled, you can get fired, lose your job.
Suggest to a class that man-made climate change and the state remedies for it are still under debate.
Your career and livelihood will be endangered.
In 2020, state that COVID lockdowns would do more eventual damage than the virus in your career was through.
And by the way, I was following today, I didn't post it, but there's a story developing in Great Britain, which I thought was actually kind of frightening, that they were looking at the deaths from COVID and something like 92% of the deaths from COVID in October 2022 had triple vaccines.
had triple vaccines, 92% of the deaths.
I mean, that's, and again, this was a vaccine that was supposed to prevent COVID.
It didn't.
It may have induced COVID or made it much more deadly.
We've got it.
The weaponization of justice, which we've been talking about.
Administrations and their efforts to stalk the Justice Department with supporters come and go.
For the last decade, the left has viewed the Department of Justice as a No wonder Eric Holder defined himself as Obama's wingman.
I mean, Jack Kennedy had his brother as Attorney General to protect him.
That's not the way it's supposed to be.
Attack on the Supreme Court.
Supreme Court strikes down Roe v. Wade and the Democrats want to go and kill the justices.
The media-democratic fusion.
If you listen to the last few years to NBC, ABC, CBS, NPR, PBS, MSNBC, or CNN, or read the New York Times, Washington Post, the Chicago Tribune, or the Los Angeles Times, Then one would have been believing, A, that Donald Trump worked with Russia to throw out the 2016 election, to win it.
The last eight years, none of Trump's political opponents have ever destroyed or suppressed evidence, etc.
You'd only believe things favoring Democrats.
Destruction of the common law, defunding of the police, the erosion of the military, Um, more transgender concerned or, or climate concern.
Sexes, the heterosexual male, female marriage and the nuclear family are all suspect.
Race, not class, which Obama did.
He made race the dividing issue, not class.
Debt is a construct.
Uh, the federal government is massively in debt.
The entire society is in debt and this is a debt pyramid that's going to collapse.
So these are issues that are serious issues, and they're not going away.
I want to cover a couple more stories, Chris, and I'll ask you to comment again, but briefly, I mean, we are in a massive, massive paradigm shift of the values of society.
Want to comment on that?
A lot of times change comes, and I'll say a paradigm shift, as you're discussing, comes gradually.
It sneaks under us before we know it.
But if you'll note, in recent decades, we've transformed ourselves into an instant gratification society, which also may call for a certain segment of, or maybe a growing segment of the population, to Uh, not mind or at least, uh, uh, want a, uh, a less gradual and more radical change.
Uh, again, the, the TikTok generation, if you will, wants to see their movies in six seconds to a minute.
They want to see all their entertainment in, in, in those short segments, but that's how they also want their change.
This may actually be gradual to them.
When you see something change over four or five months, maybe a year, instead of, let's say, a decade or two through, again, manipulation.
This is through direct.
Again, back in past decades, if you wanted to make these paradigm shifts, you'd have to manipulate a whole generation or two.
At this point, You have a government that basically knows it can force, or at least throw propaganda on the internet, to force a good number of the population to shame the rest of the population into knuckling under to any shift they want to make.
That's what I see.
What I'm seeing is that these shifts that are going on, these changes, that are going on are fundamental.
In other words, our Founding Fathers said that the Republic was built for people that believed in God.
Now, believing in God meant that there was a consequence to life.
It wasn't just fulfillment of happiness.
It wasn't just pleasure.
Thomas Jefferson said there's a right to have happiness.
But the point is, life is hard.
Everybody's gonna die.
No matter what you do, you can't get out of this alive.
That's why religion provided a spiritual element to our existence, which is the reality of our existence.
We start ignoring that, and we start deconstructing a country.
We become a failed empire.
Failed empires get invaded and wars happen, and with the power today of wars, we don't want to see it happen.
Okay, now, this whole idea of this climate change... I've got an article posted about the climate change cultists, and by the way, here's what they look like, right here.

Okay, this is a book about the grip of culture, and it's saying that it is a secular religion, which is what it's become.
Okay, now, if we go on to this more, what we're finding is that The basic element of ending all agricultural fuels will end agricultural cultivation, transporting those goods to grocery stores, and this group of people right now in charge are going to start World War III in Ukraine because they believe that the Biden regime cares about the USA and we have to oppose Russia.
Well, the truth is, the arms dealers are the only ones making money here.
The arms manufacturers and the arms dealers.
And constantly, Ukraine is asking for more weapons.
Well, now they're going to war attacking Russian ships in the Black Sea.
They sent drones to attack Moscow.
Putin is not going to stand for this for very long, and he's been threatening to use nuclear weapons, and eventually he will just use them.
This is the problem.
Okay, I want to cover one more story, and it's the dollar.
The dollar threat is there.
What's happening today in the bond market, first of all, we got two downgrades.
We were downgraded both by Fitch, and Fitch downgraded it seriously from AAA to AA+.
And that's pretty serious in terms of what it means for the credit rating in the United States.
But the point is, when the dollar is this far down and the bond markets started plummeting, really diving, because the bonds are going to be paid off in a dollar that's worth a lot less.
Okay, now that means that you're losing money holding bonds.
It's like a default.
You'll get your money back, but it's going to be worth a fraction of what it was when you invested it.
So this is a debt crisis where there's defaults here that are serious.
And the dollar depreciation is like a default.
The government will just resort to the printing press to pay off its bills.
So getting back this money in worthless dollars Is what the world is objecting to, and the Brick Nation seem to be determined to move towards a new gold standard.

We've got to turn a corner.
We've got to bring God back into the picture.
And I think there's enough people in America who understand the seriousness of this hour that we understand that we're going to need God's help.
