We have Troy Anderson on a Zoom call with us.
Troy, I want to jump right into this.
How have you been doing?
And tell us a little bit about what it is that you have been doing.
Oh, hey, Ricky, it's just great to be on your show.
It's a great honor.
I've just been writing books and working on a TV series and all kinds of different things.
It's been a great honor to come on the Jim Baker Show over the years.
Amen.
Well, it's been an honor to have you on the Jim Baker Show over the years.
I know my father loves you, highly respects you, and the next generation loves you and highly respects you.
You have written a brand new book.
Mondo, I don't know if you know this, but he is a six-time number one best-selling author.
Now, for most people, if you do it one time in your lifetime, that's incredible.
He's done it six times.
And I believe with this new book, Mondo, we could easily see a seventh time.
You know, we never realize that revival can be connected to public figures.
That's right.
Designated disruptors, too.
Absolutely.
And that's the title of your new book, Designated Disruptor.
So, Troy, tell us a little bit of this title because the subtitle is Trump and Other Unlikely Agents of Revival.
We obviously have seen Trump as truly a designated disruptor in the United States of America.
But I'm curious as we dive into this interview, who are some of the other unlikely agents of revival, Troy?
Yeah, so like we've seen since President Trump's re-election, there's sort of this spiritual turnaround has happened in the world.
And now we have revival breaking out across the country and around the world.
Church attendance among young people is up like higher than the older generations, like a 20% rise in young men, professions of faith and going to church.
And so how did this happen?
So I think that Trump's re-election played a big role in this.
But then think back before the election, you had Joe Rogan.
Trump went on there on his big show.
Now he's talking about faith and just all kinds of unlikely people, the chosen TV series.
God just using all these unlikely people to help inspire this revival spread across the nation.
It's an amazing thing to see.
Amen.
I would say that America is truly in a Nineveh moment.
And so a lot of people, we would look at political figures and say, well, I don't know if God would use them to help bring revival in a nation.
For somebody who would doubt maybe that a political figure could be used in the revival making of the United States of America, what would you say to that?
Well, I mean, think back in the Bible.
You know, God uses all kinds of unlikely people.
You know, Moses doubted himself.
King David was overlooked.
King Cyrus was a pagan king.
Paul the apostle persecuted Christians.
So it's sort of all these unlikely people.
I think maybe why God does this is so that the person doesn't get the glory.
God gets the glory for the amazing miracles that he performs.
And so, you know, God can use anybody.
And so that's the message of this book is that, you know, God can use you.
You could be a designated disruptor to confront corruption, inspire revival, wherever God has placed you in your life.
You know, I will say this, the term designated disruptor, friends, we're not just supposed to be disruptors, period.
There's a designation for it.
It's a holy disruption.
We have to make sure we do that because in the church, we see a lot of disruption.
Mondo, it truly does need to be designated.
It needs to be righteous disruption.
When the Lord calls it, the world can call it disruption.
We call it the plan of God, but it needs to be done in a holy manner, which we are seeing all across the United States.
And I think that's my question, Troy, in spiritual terms, designated disruptor.
What does it mean?
How is it linked to biblical events?
How is it linked to our everyday Christian life?
It's good.
Yeah, so a designated disruptor could be a mom, you know, praying for her kids, you know, a teacher telling the truth in the classroom, somebody who feels called to run for local office, just wherever God has put you.
You know, you just ask the Lord, you know, how can you use me?
How could you use me in this amazing revival that's unfolding?
You know, there's polls that show that many people would go to church if somebody would just ask them.
And yet there's very few Christians that share their faith, that share their testimonies.
Think about all the miraculous things God has done in your life, all the time he saved you.
If you tell people those amazing stories, they'll be inspired.
And so that's the message of this book is it's the most exciting time probably in history to be a Christian.
We're watching all these end time events unfold.
God put us all here.
He's calling us to bring in this great harvest.
You know, I saw that same poll that was done.
I believe there was a polling company that went out and they interviewed X amount of people.
And out of every 100 people, over 80% of those people, so over 80 people, the questions were asked, do you go to church?
And the answer was no.
And they said, why don't you go to church?
Or would you go to church if somebody asked you?
And they said, yes, if somebody asked me to go to church, I would go to church.
Friends, that should change how you interact with people.
That should change how you interact with your coworkers, with the people that you see every day when you go to your coffee shop.
It's simple.
It's simple, Mondo, as asking sometimes.
I know you have a really incredible Bible study that you do out of a tattoo shop in Hollister, Missouri.
Now, people can say, my goodness, why would you go there and do that?
Because you're reaching people that won't come into the four walls of the church and they're giving their lives to the Lord.
I believe you have over 30 people baptized in Table Rock Lake from that Bible study.
I'll tell you, what an incredible thing that's been happening.
But a lot of it is you're having to go out there and do the footwork of asking these people who don't normally get asked, come to a Bible study.
You talk about disruption.
You have to disrupt the system, the system of the church, the system of society.
Because I want to tell you something.
My sister stepped into my world and disrupted my world.
Here I am involved in gangs.
Here I am involved in crime.
Here I am, you know, facing pretty much 25 to life in prison.
The world's saying, lock them up, throw the key away.
My friends are telling me, don't make plans past 18 years old because you're not going to live to see another day.
Yet her prayers disrupted the plans of the enemy, disrupted my plans.
That made me realize we have to go back into the community and disrupt people's everyday life and walk in when they feel no hope.
That's right.
A disruptor can be something as simple as taking on prayer for your community, taking on prayer for your family, taking on prayer and fasting and showing up and feeding the poor and laying hands on people.
And I want to tell you something.
It's so funny that the other day during that Bible study, the Lord said, lay hands on people.
Here you have bikers, drug addicts, people that are piercing, people that are tattooing in the background.
And I'm laying hands on people.
And all of a sudden, the whole atmosphere disrupted because I want to tell you, when you make room for God, God will begin to utilize the Holy Spirit and begin to disrupt the torment of the minds of the people.
If we don't go back and lay hands on people, if we don't go back and preach the gospel, if we don't go back and have the urgency of winning souls, how can God use you?
I remember, Ricky, I was telling the audience a story.
I found myself in New York City brokenhearted.
You ever been brokenhearted where your heart is breaking and aching that you just have to run?
And I ran to New York City.
My heart was broken.
And I found myself in a bar.
In the middle of that bar, there was an event going on.
I wasn't drinking.
I wasn't there.
I was joining my friend Bobby Rydell because he was an agent to a lot of these wrestlers.
And in the middle of that, the famous wrestler, Roddy Roddy Piper, happened to walk in signing autographs.
And I saw him, Ricky, desperate to leave the room.
He was feeling anxious.
All of a sudden, the Lord prompted me in the middle of my heartbreak, in the middle of my chaos, to go over there and help him get him out of the room.
And while we were going up the elevator, the Lord said, present the gospel to him.
Here I am, brokenhearted.
Here I am feeling sorry for myself.
Here I am next to one of the most famous figures that wrestling has ever provided.
And the Lord said, tell him about the good news.
In a matter of a minute, I give him the message of salvation, walk him all the way up to his room, lay hands on him.
He looked at me and said, I want to know this Jesus.
God's Disruption Knocking 00:05:29
Do you talk about disruption?
That is a disruption.
God can use a simple man in the middle of my broken heart, in the middle of my disaster, I ran to my room, grabbed my Bible, gave him my Bible.
And I saw a year later a documentary about him and his wife talking about a man gave him a Bible and it changed his life.
Amen.
You talk about disruption?
I think God is on the move right now, waiting to disrupt our everyday agendas because he's knocking at the door.
The key is, are we listening?
That's right.
He is knocking at the door.
And Tori, I want to ask you that question.
Do you believe that America is at this Nineveh crossroads, whether it's repent or collapse?
Yeah, I think, you know, the, you know, Trump's miraculous survival and re-election is a great miracle of God.
But, you know, like my first co-author, Paul McGuire, he had a vision on July 4th, 2025, which the Lord told him, I'm giving America one last chance.
So we're seeing this revival break out, but we're also seeing all these end times events unfold.
We're seeing all these technologies, AI, the surveillance state, digital currencies come together where you could actually have this mark of the beast system for the first time in history.
And so we don't know how long this period of time is going to last.
You know, when I did the interview with Billy Graham back in 2013, you know, he talked about how God sent the prophet Jonah to Nineveh to warn a judgment.
And then the king and the people repented.
He believed the same thing.
It happened again this time in America.
So he called for that National Day of Repentance and the book, Trumpocolis, which, you know, you guys were kind enough to feature on your show.
And then, you know, Kevin Jessup ran with that.
We had that big event in the National Mall, you know, first National Day of Repentance since Abraham Lincoln.
And President Trump flew over in Marine One, issued a proclamation for a day of prayer in return.
And then last year, we had that great North American eclipse, went through all these towns called Nineveh.
And so it's as Billy Graham foresaw, we're in this Nineveh moment, but we don't know how long this is going to last.
And so it's all hands on deck to share the gospel, do everything Jesus called us to do.
And, you know, because we're watching both these things happen at the same time, great revival breaking out and it's unfolding end time events.
Amen.
We really truly are living in the end times.
Whether you like to believe it or not, it's really as simple as turning on your phone, opening up your Bible and realizing that these events are finally here.
Now, there's been generations before it says we've seen these events happening, but we are seeing the culmination of all these events at the exact same time.
We're seeing the disruptors.
And Mono, and this says in the last days, there'll be a great harvest.
There's going to be a great revival.
And sometimes it's going to take unlikely figures to spark that revival.
Well, it's going to take you.
It's going to take you to step out and believe that God can use you.
I believe that when you stop focusing on your own self, you begin to focus on other people.
God will begin to see your heart.
God will begin to see that you came to serve, not to be served.
But in the middle of Bible prophecy, in the middle of unfolding of Matthew 24, in the middle of unfolding of great success, great chaos, great disaster, the Bible promises that in the last days, I will pour out my spirit on all flesh, on the young, on the old.
I will give visions.
I will give dreams.
My question is this: will you be available for God to use you?
You know, everybody wants to be used by God, but it's got to be with conditions.
It's got to be the perfect weather.
It's got to be the perfect song.
It's got to be the perfect situation.
But I'm sorry, but every time I read the Bible, God uses the major disaster, the great chaos, the great confusion, the great church.
We were talking about it earlier.
The church right now is in one of the greatest conflicts culturally that we have ever found ourselves in this modern day history.
That's right.
We're arguing: is hell real or is hell not real?
We're arguing, is prosperity still working or are we doing it wrong?
We're still dealing with things that we've dealt with for the last 40 years.
And then in the middle of all that, God said, if you're too busy arguing about the color of the carpet in your church, then I guess I got to go wake up some rocks to use.
Isn't that crazy?
God will use a donkey because we're too busy dealing with 1973 issues when God is dealing with us through Bible prophecy and using people that are the most unlikely people that look like you, that look like me, that we have accents, we have a past, we're a messed up people.
But out of a mess, the message of Bible prophecy is still being fulfilled.
That's right.
You know, Troy, I want to ask you this question from your interviews.
Which figure stood out as the most maybe unexpectedly anointed, you know, disruptor for this cultural moment that we're in right now?
You know, last summer, the pastor here in Orange County, Pastor Francie, he invited me to the Baptize America event down at Pirates Cove.

That's where the Jesus Revolution began back in the 1700s with Chuck Smith baptizing the kids and Lonnie Frisbee.
And people may have saw that great movie, Jesus Revolution.
And so we went down there.
There's probably like a thousand people down there and all these young people getting baptized.
And so I interviewed a few young people and they told me that, you know, essentially what they said is that everybody's wearing Jesus' clothes now and everybody's excited about this revival.
We're seeing, you know, all our friends getting saved.
And so like when Charlie Kirk, you know, as tragic as that was when he got assassinated, then that weekend, our church was like packed out with young people.
And then since that time, I think they're saying that it's doubled, that tendencies doubled or tripled at Mariner's Church.
And I'm hearing similar reports across the nation.
So that's the most amazing thing that's happening is God's just using whatever he can, tragic situations, you know, young people, just old people, everybody is being called to participate in this revival.
And this, this, you know, Pastor Paul Bailey calls it the great harvest revival.
So it's all hands on deck.
And so, yeah, it was an amazing thing to go down to that Pirates Cove.
That's incredible.
You know, Mono, it's the unlikely.
It's the places we'd never expect.
It's the California beaches and the Table Rock Lakes in Missouri where people are going and saying, you know what, I want to be baptized for the first time in my life, or I want to actually give my life back to the Lord and actually serve the Lord with purpose this time.
I love that it's not just happening within the four walls.
Now, friends, the four walls are important.
Show up to church on Sundays, go on Wednesdays.
Any opportunity you have to be with God's people, do it.
But Mondo, it's beautiful that it doesn't just happen within the four walls.
Listen, when you step out of the four walls, you put what you have learned into action.
That's right.
And I stepped out by faith to show up to this Bible study at a tattoo shop, and the people were asking me to baptize them.
And here I am, I'm just trying to serve the Lord.
People, you know, motorcycle people drove, I guess they don't drive, but they rode all the way to Texas to be baptized.
People are hungry.
Again, I want to challenge you with this.
Make yourself available to be used by God in this hour.
You know that you and I have talked about this.
Miracles were not for the religious people.
It's for the unbelievers.
It was for the unbeliever to come and experience the greatest kingdom of heaven miracle that they have ever witnessed.
And no wonder people came out of everywhere and nowhere to come and see who is this Jesus?
Who is this man that is baptizing when it's not time to baptize?
Who is this man that is healing people in the Sabbath?
We were told to hate our enemies.
God's Attention in Unexpected Places 00:03:44
Who is this guy that is telling us love our enemies?
Who is this guy that is prophesying what the signs will be of his return?
Who is this man that is giving life when Lazarus is dead?
That's right.
I'm telling you, there are places right now that are being resurrected with the power of the Holy Spirit and revival is breaking in the middle of a coffee shop, in the middle of a stadium, in the middle of a bar, in the middle of a tattoo shop.
I want you to know something.
If there was ever a sign of Bible prophecy breaking, it's when young people and old people are coming together, worshiping God, and miracles are starting to take place.
That's right.
Nations are recognizing that without God, there is no hope.
That's right.
But then the disrupter is when God begins to use a president by the name of Donald J. Trump.
A very unlikely person.
The most unlikely human being, the most obnoxious human being, the most you get it.
God chooses that person.
You know why I believe that?
I believe that President Trump is making himself available to say yes to God, even if it's disrupting the political arena in ways that we have never seen before.
And yet, God is trying to get your attention.
Again, Ricky, the question is: are you too busy to notice that God is trying to get your attention?
That's right.
You know, are we too busy to see the patterns emerging?
And Troy, I want to ask you: are we too busy as American citizens to see patterns emerging that may be showing us that there is a new great awakening right around the corner?
Well, yeah, I think that's part of the devil's plan here: keep us so busy, so distracted, so consumed of all these little activities and our schedules that we don't see what's happening.
And of course, the media, the mainstream media isn't covering this.
You know, Chrisma is doing a great job, CV and News, some others, you guys, but largely, most people already been hearing this is happening.
And I remember when Billy Graham wrote a book about the Jesus for evolution, I think it was 1970 or something like that, the media wasn't covering it then.
And then, you know, not too long after that, there was, you know, cover stories in Newsweek and Time magazine and life and that kind of thing.
So I think that this is sort of an underreported story, but it's getting bigger and bigger.
My Instagram page is full of all these like, you know, this hundreds and thousands of kids getting baptized and saved and delivered all across the country around the world.
And, you know, a lot of this is on social media.
And so, you know, I would encourage people to get involved.
All God is looking for is somebody to obey, to just, you know, step out, be courageous, be bold, you know, do whatever you feel God has called you to do, share the gospel, you know, help the poor, the orphans, the widows, all the things Jesus told us to do.
If we stood up and stood on the word of God, I promise you we would see a vastly different church.
You'd become a designated disruptor in your own city.
It's not just for a president at a federal level to be a designated disrupter.
Friends, it is for you at your community level.
Go join your school board.
Go run for political office.
Go be the mayor of your town and let people know while I hold this position, Jesus is still the first thing that matters to me.
He is still my primary priority.
And if we have that across the United States of America, if little towns and communities got new representative congressmen and women, school board people, mayors, you know, new aldermen in their cities, I promise you we see a very different United States of America.

The prophets cry in Habakkuk said this, oh Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years.
That's right.
I'm praying in agreement with Ricky, with Troy, that God will revive the work that he has called you to do many years ago.
Listen, God can use a donkey.
He can use you.
He's using me.
I was just saying, he's using me.
Yeah.
Pretty much the same thing.
I'm the donkey.
You know, if God can use us, can you imagine what God can do through you when you say yes to God?
I pray that you will pray the prophet's prayer and cry out, oh Lord, revive your work in the midst of the years.
It's time that you step in into what God has called you to do.
If God has called you to build that ministry, that business, that organization, that outreach, whatever it is, step out in faith and believe that God can resurrect that dream, resurrect that calling that God has for you, because God is ready to disrupt the inner circle that you're in right now.
That's right.
The time is now.
That's right.

Mr. Troy Anderson, what do you think that the personal responsibility of every believer in the United States should be as we are praying to the Lord and contending for revival?
As we are saying, Lord, we want our cities to be moved.
We want our states to be moved.
We want this nation to be moved.
What do you think it is the personal responsibility of us as the believer?
Ian O'Riki, the Bible tells us that we've been called from the foundations of the world, that God has a purpose and a plan for our lives, a mission, multiple assignments.
And so I would just encourage people to, you know, pray, to ask the Lord, what can I do where I'm at?
My job, you know, my family, my friends, my co-workers.
Could I start a Bible study?
Could I start a prayer meeting?
Could I share the gospel?
Like you mentioned, could I run for office?
Think about the transformation we could see in this country if Christians would just go out and vote, run for office, go for school boards, city councils, county commissioners, all these different kinds of things.
We would see a transformation of this country.
Friends, you need to step into your God-given destiny.
It's important.
It's critical.
You know, a lot of people, Mondo, they want to be used by God, but the using of being used by God requires a yes and requires obedience.
I say it often to our church.
Obedience is a muscle that must be exercised.
And the Lord will give you the opportunity to do that every single day, whether it's something small, like pray for somebody in a grocery store or something big, like, you know, give somebody a portion of your finances, whatever it is, obedience will always be there.
And it'll always be something that can be exercised.
Mondo, it's our choice daily.
And I mean this daily, probably multiple times a day, whether we say yes to the spiritual exercise of obeying Christ and whatever it is that he has for you.
Friends, we want to see revival in your city and your state.
We want to see revival in the United States of America.
The number one exporter of missionaries at one point, Mondo, the number one exporter of pastors, the number one exporter of evangelists, the number one exporter of all of those people who are going out and doing the work of the Lord.
And now we're seeing people having to come back into the United States as missionaries, as pastors, as evangelists, as people who are coming and doing the work of the Lord.
Mondo, I don't know, maybe it's selfish of me, but I would like to see America once again be the beacon of hope for the world to say, you know what, that's the standard of a Christian nation.
And that may sound far out there and that may sound like, oh, that's a fever dream.
But friends, if we all said, you know what, Christ is our foundation and we linked arms across denominations, across viewpoints, across arguments of theology.
And we all said, you know what, we believe the core gospel, that Jesus is who he said he is.
We believe that Christ is the only way to heaven.
He is our intercessor, that he is the king of kings and the Lord of lords, that he truly was born of a virgin, that he truly did die on the cross for my sins, that he truly does sit at the right hand of the Father.
If we agree on the core things, we lock arms as a body, because Mondo, I don't know if you know this, but it's only one body.
There's only one bride that Christ is coming back for.
We need to be unified during this time.
And I believe that's how we'll see revival spark in our nation.
We want to see revival, but friends, it takes us getting up every day saying, God, use me to the fullest of my ability.
