Our special guest today is Pastor Jim Cernero.

Hey, everybody, welcome back to another day with our special guest, Pastor Jim Chernero.
I tried it.
You got it.
Was that all right?
That was the Italian way.
That's the Italian way.
The American way is Cercernero.
Listen, you have been around the world.
You're a revivalist.
You're a composer.
You're an author.
You're a pastor.
Is there something you don't do?
Well, you can ask my wife that question, I guess, but no, I love doing whatever gift the Lord has given me to use for the kingdom of God.
You have traveled the world with Pastor Brother Benny Hinn and, of course, in your own personal travels.
What nation has received the gospel throughout your years that really said, wow, there's such a move of God in this nation?
Well, I particularly love to go to South America.
They love the fire of God, Fuego, you know, and in Brazil, Fogo, you know, they love the fire of God.
And there's such a hunger for the presence and the power of God.
So I do, I have to say, I am partial to going to South America because of the way they draw on the anointing.
You know, they want the presence of God.
They want the power of God that sometimes is sadly lacking in some of our North American churches or whatever.
So it's a blessing to see that.
But of course, I'm partial to Italy coming from the Italian background or whatever, but I love to see the move of God wherever I go.
And, you know, I've been going to Europe for 40 years now and to see what's happening, the revival that's taking place in Europe has been amazing.
And so God is moving by his spirit, absolutely.
And it's great to be a part of it.
How long you been in ministry?
50 years.
50 years.
I can't believe it.
Yeah, I graduated Bible College 50 years ago, but the Lord keeps me young and I love doing what I'm doing for the Lord.
And it's great to see the new things.
You know, he promises that his mercies are new every morning.
And as you grow in ministry, there's different anointings for different seasons of your life and for whatever God has called you to do.
And I just thank God for that he is always breathing new life into us and inspiring us to do greater things for the kingdom of God.
We're going to get to know you a little bit better.

We need your prayers.
We need your support more than ever.
And one of these days, Ricky and I are going to sit down and talk to you and bring you up to date on all the amazing things that God is doing, that God is about to do, because you're part of that miracle.
And if it wasn't for you praying for us and standing with us every single month and God using you, I don't know if we will be here right now.
You know, anytime you go through some challenges, it's either going to get you away from God because you get discouraged or it's going to help you lean towards God and realize that Hebrews chapter 13 says, I will never leave you.
I will never forsake you.
But if you really study it, it's a triple negative that says, I will never, never, never leave you.
I will never, never, never forsake you.
And then, Pastor, it says, I will never, not at all, by any means, in any case, never leave you.
Amen.
What does that mean that he says he will never leave us?
Well, his spirit is in us.
You know, he's with us continually.
I was sharing with you in the break that, you know, we understand that when Moses said goodbye to the children of Israel, he said, you're going to have some mountain experiences, but you're also going to have some valley experiences.
And he said, underneath, chapter 33, verse 27 says, underneath are the everlasting arms.
I looked up that word.
I like to look up words in the Hebrew and in the Greek.
That's the word tef.
What it means is at the very bottom, if you feel like you've gone to the very bottom emotionally or whatever it might be that's brought you low, Jesus is still underneath by his precious arms and he will lift you up.
And so Moses was telling the children of Israel, I'll be with you on the mountaintop and I'll be with you in the valley.
Praise God.
And his precious presence is always with us.
Pastor, as we are facing a difficult time, not only in our nation, in the world, seems like Matthew 24 is coming to life every single day.
What is the message of Matthew 24 that you brought to your congregation and what stood out?
I always tell my congregation, don't be scared, be prepared.
So in other words, the things that the Lord was telling us that we're going to see are not to frighten us, not to scare us, but they are to motivate us to serve even more faithfully, to call on the power of the blood, to stay in the word of God, to know that, you know, for the world, it's going to get darker.
Paul said in the last days, perilous times will come.
But the Bible also says that the path of the just gets brighter and brighter.
So the more it gets darker in the natural realm, I believe we're going to see the glory of God.
Haggai chapter 2, another one of my favorite passages, 7 and 9.
He says you're going to see a shaking in the world.
And then he says, the glory of the latter house will be greater than the former house.
The former house was Israel.
And we know that the glory of God was there so much so that the priest could hardly stand to minister.
But what he says is what's coming to the latter house, which is the church, that's you and I, is going to be even greater.
So when we see it getting darker, that's not a time to go run and hide and be afraid.
That's the time to prepare for glory, a visitation of glory on your home and the power of God to be released in your heart to speak the word of God and to stand against the evil in our society.
The Lord gave me a scripture that you're touching on.
Listen to this.
Isaiah chapter 60, verse 2.
For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth and keep in deep darkness the people.
But, I love that, but the Lord will arise over you and his glory will be seen upon you.
Absolutely.
God will keep his promise.
Absolutely.
Listen, let me give you one more scripture to encourage you today.
Go to John chapter 16, verse 33.
He says, in this world, you will have trouble.
Are we seeing trouble right now?
Nations are in trouble, or economic systems are in trouble, or food systems are in trouble.
It seems like trouble is surrounding us everywhere.
Maybe you're facing trouble in your marriage.
Maybe you're facing trouble in your family.
Maybe you're facing trouble even in the ministry that you're in right now.
Well, I got a word from the Lord to you.
You want to hear from God?
Man, he's there.
Open the word.
Amen.
And this is what he has to say.
But take heart.
I have overcome the world.
Amen.
It doesn't get any more simple than that, Pastor.
Amen.
What does it mean when the Bible says, but take heart?
Because when you see things that are getting darker, he says, but take heart.
Take this into mind.
Take this into consideration that I have overcome the world.
And through the blood, oh, let's talk about the blood.
Amen.
Can I read what you wrote?
You can, of course.
I mean, I'm sure you can memorize it, but you're written a long book that is powerful.

Don't just get one.
Don't just get two.
I always encourage you to get a Baker's Dozen.
Why?
Because that Baker's Dozen is a tool that you can give away to people and bless people.
Stop giving gifts that don't matter.
That's good.
Give gifts that are going to change people's lives.
It's going to encourage their faith.
It's going to build their faith.
It's going to let them know that there's power in the word.
This is what this man writes about.
And you write it in page number four.
There is no gospel without the blood of Jesus, as Ephesians 1, 7 declares.
In him, we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace.
Then you write, the blood of Jesus and what it speaks is essential to the gospel of Jesus Christ.
I love this part right here.
To ignore mentions of the blood and its decrees is to forfeit its provisions.
So true.
Absolutely.
Let's talk about that.
Well, you know, we tend as human beings to focus sometimes on the negative things that are happening.
We talk about it.
We talk about our problems, our illnesses, whatever.
But the more we speak about what the blood has accomplished for us, the more we are going to begin to realize them in our lives.
And we're going to see the power of the blood become real in our situations.
And that's where that spirit of fear leaves.
That's when that spirit of timidity goes and we start to rise up in the strength of the Lord and what the blood has paid for for us.
And so we can't allow the enemy to rob us of what God has already paid for and provided for us through the shedding of his blood on the cross.
You know, you mentioned something there that makes me think about people are afraid to give.
People are afraid to tithe.
People are afraid.
Not everybody, but the majority of people are afraid to give nowadays to ministries like this, to churches, to tithing.
And it's getting attacked and it's been attacked.
Now, there's been some funny business along the way.
And we can't ignore that.
But there's a blessing and a decree in giving.
Let's talk about that because, and the only reason I want to talk about it is because there's been a battle, a spiritual warfare over this ministry and lacking of finances some years, the attacks on finances.
And we're just a representation of many other ministries that are being attacked spiritually over giving.
And let's talk about that because there's power in giving.
It unlocks the way that we can communicate the gospel.
It's how we preach the gospel around the world.
But you mentioned something to me during the break about giving and the ties to the blood.
Absolutely.
Well, you know, the gospel is free, but the delivery of the gospel is not always free.
It takes money.
It takes funds to do, to fly on a plane.
It takes money to go on the air to preach the gospel.
And so we need to be a people that are blessed financially to be able to preach the gospel.
I think one of the main reasons the devil wants to keep the church in poverty is because he doesn't want the gospel of Jesus Christ to go forth.
But as I read the word of God, and you mentioned there've been some abuses and whatever, we all understand that.
But you can't take prosperity, biblical prosperity and success out of the word of God because it's there.
I like at the beginning of the year to quote Psalm 65, 11.
I'm sure you've heard it quoted, and many of you watching today have heard it.
David says unto the Lord, You crown the year with goodness, and your paths, Lord, drip with abundance.
Well, as you know, I've mentioned to you, Mother, I like to look up words in the Hebrew.
Well, I looked up that word abundance because of some of the things we just talked about.
I said, I want to know what the Bible says about abundance.
Well, if you look at that word abundance, it's the Hebrew word deshin.
And that word deshin means what you would think, it means prosperity, it means a superabundance and all of that, but it also means ashes.
Ashes, you say?
David was having a revelation of the sacrifices that the priest would make on behalf of Israel.
And when the priest would make the sacrifice, which is the shedding of blood, of course, foreshadowing the blood of Jesus Christ on the cross, then they would burn the animal.
What's the final state of anything that's burnt?
Ashes, right?
So, what David was saying is your word, when they saw the ashes on the altar, they knew that the work was done.
Israel was covered for however long a period.
And it was a foreshadowing of Jesus Christ's death on the cross that when he cried, it is finished, the work was done.
So, biblical prosperity in abundance in Christ Jesus is because of the work of Calvary.
And so, when we face a lack financially, spiritually, in our marriage, in our finance, whatever it is, we can say ashes in the name of Jesus and declare the finished work of the blood of Jesus Christ and remind the devil that the work's already been done.
And God wants to release true godly prosperity on his people in every dimension of our life.
I receive that word on behalf of this ministry.
I hope you receive that word for you.
Pastor, I've met so many people that are afraid to ask for finances in their life.
We are okay asking for healing for ourselves.
Would you agree?
It's okay to ask for healing because it makes us spiritual.
We're okay asking God for a lot of these other things, but when it comes to our personal finances, it's like we don't touch it.
I don't understand why, as Christians, we want to be, can I be bold, broke?
Yeah, yeah, I don't get it.
I don't understand that the world is financially going after because, you know, the Bible does say, I might get in trouble for this, but the Bible said it.
Money answereth all things.
That says it.
It helps us preach the gospel.
It helps us pay the bills.
Oh, don't talk about the gospel like that.
Why are we afraid?
What is it that?
Listen, the only reason why I'm asking is not to ask you for money.
Now, we do need your support, but I'm not asking you to do that if you can't do it.
What I'm asking is that you have to be delivered from this idea of fear, of believing that God can increase your storehouse, that God can increase your ability to be able to give absolutely.
Okay, let's talk about this, because I I want spiritual deliverance when it comes to our finances and believing for a miracle, because i'm believing for a miracle for this ministry, for financial freedom, where it can give us the ability to write a million dollar check to TROY Brewer to help rescue human trafficking.
Yes kids, I want to be able to for this ministry and i've talked about it with Ricky Even last night that this ministry can be financially, you know, free of of debt and free of trouble, so we can take care of the people here, absolutely to be able to pay your house off, to be able to help another ministry out and not live under this idea of fear that we're not to ask for funds.
Can you help us break this?
Because you have an anointing throughout your ministry, pastor.
You have seen miracles in the financial areas of different ministries.
Speak a word of deliverance, you write about it in your book and we need your, we need your, we need your mentorship, sir.
Well, I I believe that the lord's Word says that he will supply all our need according to his riches and glory.
He's not in a deficit, he's not.
His account is still full and I believe that he wants to supply our need.
Yes, there have been abuses, and when it comes to prosperity and in and the and the preaching that has, that may be focused on the wrong motivation.
We don't want to be blessed so that we can drive the most expensive European.
That, that's not vehicle.
That's not the reason.
We want to be blessed financially so that we can do what you just said, do the work of the kingdom.
And how can we do that if we're struggling and if we're bound financially?
You know, Mini and I, when we set out into this new season of ministry about 15, 16 years ago, I wondered how we were going to make it financially because we'd, you know, been working for a ministry and we've been taken care of.
And uh, we went to buy a house and the lord had given me a word of faith.
And I want to say this because I believe God's got to give a word of faith to this ministry, because when God gives you a word of faith, it's like a knowing in your spirit man that says, I don't know how it's going to happen, but it will happen because it's the word of faith that's coming to your spirit.
And the lord had given me a word of faith and I like to journal and I wrote down in my how, my my journal, a mortgage-free home.
And at that point it was the most ridiculous thing in the natural to believe for, because we had no salary, we had no way to make this happen.
But I wrote it down, we apply for a mortgage, we get turned down.
And i'm thinking well, how are we going to do this?
And the lord reminded me, go look at your journal.
And I I have to be honest with you.
When the lord told me that, I said, well, that happens to more high profile people, not not to me.

And the lord said, i'm no respecter of persons.
And so I took out my journal and I began to get faith in my spirit again and God gave me a god idea.
How many believe that god can give you?
The Deuteronomy 8, 28 says he gives us the power to get wealth.
He gave me a god idea and I began to call around and got an idea that I could borrow money from an annuity That I had, and we plugged that house completely mortgage-free.
Wow.
And I remember when the finance lady or the title company asked me, How are you financing, Reverend Sonero?
I was so thrilled that I could say, We're not.
We're buying it out cash.
And she said, Oh, well, that's amazing.
And you know what?
God is my witness.
Six months later, that little bit of a loan that we took was paid off completely.
And there we are, 15 years later, we're still mortgage-free.
And God, God, and I don't say that to brag because I'm not a braggadocious person.
I want somebody, and I want to encourage you to believe God.
Ask God for a word of faith.
Ask God to quicken it to your spirit that He will bless you financially so that you can support PTL, so that you can support ministries without even a second thought.
You can write a check for $500,000 or whatever the amount is that God enables you to do because there's no lack in God's storehouse.
There's nothing impossible with our God.
And again, it's not for our own self-aggrandizement.
It's for the work of the kingdom of God.
And we need to be broken.
We need to break off that spirit of bondage that says, no, you got to stay poor.
I've been to the Vatican many, many times.
Let me tell you, there's no poverty there.
One mural there in the Vatican could pay for the gospel ministry of this ministry for decades.
Wow.
And so I believe our God is a God of abundance.
And if we trust him, he will do.
And of course, we have to be stewards.
We have to give according to the word of God.
If he blesses, we give.
But the Bible tells me that the more we give, the more he gives back to us.
We give with our hands, but we need our whole bosom to take it back in because he gives seven times a week.
There's a moment right now.
I want you to get ready to minister.
When you're ministering music, you can't be here and not minister in music.
And I want to welcome you to the piano over there.

We plead the blood over Israel.
We plead the blood of Jesus over South America, Central America, Asia, Africa.
Lord, we decree and proclaim that the same blood that was shed in Calvary is the same blood that is healing, that is restoring, and Lord, is moving across this world today.
Father, let your word do its work.
And we pray for the power of the Holy Spirit right now.
That if there's someone watching today that doesn't know you, let them receive you and ask for forgiveness of their sins and repent from their ways and declare with their mouth and believe in their heart that you are the King of Kings.
Lord, save them.
Restore them wherever they may be right now.
If you pray that prayer, call us.
