Receiving Divine Healing
00:03:05
|
|
| Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| Our special guest today is Pastor Jim Cernero. | |
| And now please welcome our host, Reverend Mondo de la Vega. | |
| Hey, everybody, welcome back to Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| I'm your host, Mondo. | |
| And as you can see, Pastor Jim is not here. | |
| Pastor Rick is not here, but they want me to tell you that they love you. | |
| Listen, keep praying for your friend Jim. | |
| He has been going through a lot of circumstances with his health, but I believe that your prayers are the answer. | |
| I believe in the power of prayer. | |
| You know why? | |
| Because it works. | |
| Oh, I'm going to let you think about that for just a moment. | |
| The power of prayer still works. | |
| The power of prayer still heals. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| Whatever you're going through today, whatever circumstances that you're facing, I don't want you to miss this program. | |
| We have a very special guest here today. | |
| He is a legend. | |
| This man has traveled the world. | |
| He's been along with Pastor Brother Benny Hinn's ministry. | |
| But more than that, he's a man that is called by God, a man that has been anointed for this time and this season of our lives. | |
| And we're going to be talking about a subject that in the church, I don't know why, Pastor, the church has failed to talk about the blood. | |
| There is power in the blood. | |
| And we're going to be talking about the power of the blood. | |
| But more than that, he's got a brand new book titled The Blood's Decree. | |
| This book right here, you're not going to want to miss it. | |
| He's talking about receiving the divine healing, protection, and blessing that Jesus' blood speaks over you. | |
| If you're watching the news, you better get your Bible out and find out what does the Bible have to say about the times that we're facing as a nation. | |
| I happen to believe that the book of Revelation is right before our eyes, but I want you to understand that in the middle of darkness, God will also move to give his people discernment on how to navigate what we're going through right now. | |
| Don't be discouraged. | |
| Don't be dismayed. | |
| Call upon the name of Jesus and do what my grandma used to tell me to do, and that was to plead the blood of Jesus over your life. | |
| Because I want to tell you something. | |
| There's power in the blood. | |
| And I hope that you, as you watch this program, you think about and you pray about getting prepared. | |
| For the last 20 years, Pastor Jim has brought a message for the church to prepare, not only spiritually, but physically. | |
| Why? | |
| Because in the time that we're in right now, people are hungry. | |
| People are going to be hungry. | |
| And if you're watching the news, over 40 million people in America are about to face a devastating impact in their food department. | |
|

| Well, this special guest, I grew up watching him. | |
| I saw him while Pastor Benninghin was ministering in the Crusades. | |
| I used to watch this man in the background playing the keys and the piano and singing, and an anointing came the moment this man hit the stage. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| Pastor Jim, I'm going to try to pronounce your name. | |
| Cesnero. | |
| Sernero. | |
| Serneto. | |
| You did well. | |
| That's all right. | |
| He's a pastor. | |
| He's a revivalist. | |
| He's an author. | |
| He's a composer. | |
|
Living in Matthew 24

|
|
| He's a pastor. | |
| He's a leader. | |
| And he's written this brand new book that we want you to get it. | |
| Listen, you can go to the website, JimBakershow.com and visit the affiliate page that we have with Nori Media and his Destiny Image. | |
| And we're going to talk about something that the church needs to come back to. | |
| Sir, welcome back to the program. | |
| Thank you so much. | |
| I say welcome back because many years ago, you were part of the PTL network. | |
| Let's go back a little bit because you fascinate me. | |
| Oh, thank you. | |
| And how did the PTL network, Jim Baker, and all that, when did you meet him? | |
| Well, years ago, I was a minister of music in Bangor, Maine, and the pastor was Bob Gass. | |
| And Bob used to come at the time and host, co-host, not co-host, but he would substitute host when Jim had to travel or whatever. | |
| And so that's how the connection began years ago. | |
| And then a few years later, when I was in San Jose, Paul Farron came to be the music director at PTL. | |
| And I got to that connection. | |
| That's where I met my lovely wife. | |
| And so, yeah, there's a little bit of a connection down through the years. | |
| And of course, we've always appreciated it. | |
| You know, it's kind of ironic sitting here today. | |
| I'm thinking back in the day, I used to dream of being on the PTL program growing up in New Jersey. | |
| And here I am. | |
| You know, it's just so amazing what you're still young. | |
| I'm still young. | |
| Yes. | |
| Thank you very much. | |
| I appreciate that. | |
| But God has been faithful to your kind words. | |
| And it's a blessing to meet you, by the way. | |
| Oh, listen, I've watched you and you have seen the church change over the last 30 years. | |
| What has impacted you the most about the direction that the church has taken over the last 30 years? | |
| Well, of course, we are living in Matthew 24, in my opinion, Mondo. | |
| Wait a minute. | |
| If Pastor Jim was here, he will give you a little pen that said, I'm proud of you, because very few people talk about Matthew 24. | |
| Oh, really? | |
| It's one of my favorite chapters. | |
| Let's talk about Matthew 24. | |
| Since you open up this kind of warmth, where are we according to Matthew 24? | |
| Well, in my opinion, we are living in Matthew 24. | |
| Of course, Jesus said when the disciples asked him, what will be the sign of your coming? | |
| The number one thing he said, the first thing I should say he said after, you know, before wars and famines and all of that, and you alluded to that in your intro, but he said, number one, he said, take heed that no man, no one deceive you. | |
| If you look up the word deceive, of course, you understand that we're living in an age where there's deception on every front. | |
| I mean, it's in all the aspects of our society today. | |
| And we as the Christians, we as people that are spirit-filled believers, need to hold on to truth more than ever before. | |
| We need to be preaching. | |
| We need to be speaking the certain sound of the gospel. | |
| Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14, 8, which by the way is the name of my ministry, Jim Sonero's certain sound ministry. | |
| He said, if the trumpet gives an uncertain sound, how will they respond? | |
| And I feel like over the certain amount of years, maybe the last two decades, the gospel's been a little bit deluded. | |
| Not that people haven't been sincere in preaching it, but we kind of went a little more the motivational direction. | |
| And I think it's time we shift back to preaching the true gospel of Jesus Christ that only can be underscored by the blood of Jesus Christ. | |
| Come on. | |
| You know, when I was growing up, Mondo, that we used to sing a lot of songs about the blood. | |
| In fact, Andre's song, The Blood Will Never Lose Its Power. | |
| I'll never forget. | |
| I was in Sherman, Texas, not too far from where we live now, a couple hours away. | |
| And my cousins had moved there and married and so on. | |
| And the pastor's wife sang with her beautiful voice, the blood that Jesus shed. | |
| The moment she started singing about the blood, the anointing came. | |
| And you know, when you mention the blood, the anointing of the Spirit of the Lord comes and he breathes on our hearts. | |
| And it's so amazing to me that we've kind of gotten away. | |
| I think, truthfully, it's been a deliberate ploy of the enemy to devalue, to diminish. | |
| There are translations of the Bible that omit any mention of the blood of Jesus Christ. | |
| But as believers, we understand that it's foundational to the gospel. | |
| There is no salvation. | |
| There is no redemption without the blood of Jesus Christ. | |
| And that's what motivated me to write this book, by the way, because Hebrews 12, Hebrews, one of my favorite books, by the way, but Hebrews 12, 24 says, and to the blood of Jesus, the mediator, and to the blood of sprinkling that speaks better things than that of Abel. | |
| Well, when I read that, all of a sudden it jumped out at me. | |
| The blood speaks present tense. | |
| I know, you know for many years, we all know that when Jesus cried, it is finished on the cross, the blood spoke healing, salvation, deliverance, all of that. | |
| But this verse says it speaks present tense. | |
| In fact, if you actually look it up in the translations, you understand that it actually says it preaches. | |
| I've heard a lot of preachers in my day, Mondo, and I'm sure you have as well. | |
| I've heard a lot of sermons, but there's no better preacher than the blood of Jesus Christ. | |
| And then it said better things. | |
| Well, when I read that, I was like, well, what? | |
| What are the better things that we as Christians need to be understanding that the blood is speaking over our lives right now? | |
| Let's talk about the blood. | |
| I believe there's power in the blood. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And as we watch the headlines, Revelation jumps out. | |
| The index of the book of Revelation is almost Matthew 24. | |
| It's an indicator, right, of the things that were to come, the things that are going to happen before the return of the Lord. | |
| Deception, you talk about deception. | |
| And it's amazing that in Matthew 24, he emphasizes deception three times. | |
| How can the blood reveal to us the deception that we're seeing, not only in the political ground, not only in the economic systems of this world lying to us, but we have come to believe a lie in the church that is a different gospel. | |
| Can the blood reveal to us discernment on how to get past the idea of this deceptive talk that is being, you know, proclaimed from our gospels, meaning from our pulpits, from social media, and the media itself. | |
| How can the blood give us discernment? | |
| Well, first of all, preachers and people of God need not to be ashamed. | |
| Like the Apostle Paul said, I'm not ashamed of the gospel. | |
| And it feels like that spirit of intimidation has come on people and they've been afraid to mention the blood. | |
| But when you mention the blood, as I said before, the power of the blood is activated. | |
| And of course, the Bible says that we worship in spirit and in truth. | |
| We have to have that balance. | |
| And I alluded to Matthew 24, where he said, take heed. | |
| The word heed actually means to discern. | |
| It means to have the gifts of discernment operating. | |
| When you speak the blood of Jesus, I believe that the power of God is activated. | |
| You know, when the Lord breathed into the first Adam in the garden, what happened? | |
| The blood started circulating in his body, right? | |
| And he was dead until the blood was activated by the power of the breath of the Spirit of God. | |
| When you read the word of God, 2 Timothy tells us that it is God breathed. | |
| So when you read the word of God, when you stand on the word of God, when you speak the word of God, I believe the Holy Spirit activates, causes the blood of Jesus Christ to become re-essential in our lives and become fruitful in our lives. | |
| And it brings about all of the gifts of the Spirit and all of the things that Jesus Christ paid for on the cross. | |
| So it's powerful. | |
| So the second Adam, when he breathes through the power of his Spirit on us, causes the blood to become effectual in our lives. | |
| Let's talk about healing in regards to the blood. | |
| Yesterday, I host a Bible study every Wednesday at a tattoo shop. | |
| And in the middle of this study, one of the ladies that was sitting there had to be rushed to the ER because we felt like she had pneumonia. | |
| And she was rushed to the ER while I'm teaching Bible study. | |
| And I tell one of the guys, make sure that when she gets there, you call me. | |
| He said, well, why? | |
| Because we're going to pray for her. | |
| When she arrived to the ER, her blood pressure was 159. | |
| Now, she's over 70 years old. | |
| That's pretty high. | |
| And she couldn't breathe. | |
| She was struggling to breathe. | |
| They took her immediately. | |
| And I said, put the phone next to her. | |
| But the doctors are here, put the phone next to her. | |
| And I said, in the name of Jesus, I plead the blood over your life right now. | |
| And I began to pray. | |
| Pastor, within seconds, the blood pressure went down. | |
| I believe it. | |
| They stabilized her. | |
| Is there power in the blood for healing? | |
| Oh, absolutely. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Well, you know that I've seen countless healings in my tenure of ministry, of course, traveling with Pastor Benny Him, but also in my own ministry. | |
| And I grew up understanding. | |
| You mentioned earlier about your grandmother talking about covering you with the blood. | |
| I had a grandma as well, and my mother and father as well, and grandfather that would plead the blood over us. | |
| And I didn't understand. | |
| My grandmother used to say, hover over them with the blood. | |
| And I wondered what that meant. | |
| One day I was looking at the story, of course, the Passover. | |
| If you look at that word in Hebrew, it's Pesach. | |
| If you look deep enough into the meaning, it means the Lord Himself hovered over the houses of the children of Israel. | |
| That's why when the death angel came, he had to pass over those houses because the blood of Jesus on those houses said no access. | |
| It said access denied. | |
| It said that this house is protected. | |
| And so when we speak the blood, the power of the protection of the blood comes on our families, on our bodies, on our finances, on every aspect of our lives. | |
| You can ask many, my wife who's sitting out there that every day when we pray for our mirror, we pray over our son and we say, Lord Jesus Christ and his wife, cover them with your blood. | |
| We still believe that that's effectual and we've seen so many healed. | |
| I was preaching in Dayton, Ohio. | |
| This is a number of years back, and I was preaching on the blood. | |
| And, you know, when I preached this message, by the way, from this book, my mother, when I was growing up, if we asked her, if she asked us to do something and we said, oh, why, she would say, because I said so. | |
| So I took that little, how many have mothers that said the same thing, right? | |
| You know, her word was final, you know. | |
| Well, I took that little phrase and I thought, well, why don't we use that with the blood? | |
| The blood says I'm healed. | |
| The blood says I'm delivered. | |
| The blood says, and when I preach it, I have the people say, because the blood said so. | |
| Well, I was preaching that message in Dayton and a woman starts hobbling down the aisle with her daughter. | |
| And I thought she was just going to go to her seat, but she proceeded all the way to the lectern, to the pulpit. | |
| And of course, I had to stop. | |
| And I said, well, can I help you? | |
| And she said, my back, it's broken. | |
| She said, I'm a nurse, and I was picking up a patient. | |
| And I'm in agony. | |
| I'm in terrible pain. | |
| And all of a sudden, out of my mouth came, do you believe that the Lord can heal you right now? | |
| Because we're, again, we're preaching on the blood of Jesus Christ and all that the blood paid for. | |
| And she said, oh, yes. | |
| So I asked her if I could put my hand on her back. | |
| And when I did, I felt a brace going all the way from her neck all the way down her back. | |
| And all of a sudden, the boldness of the anointing came on me. | |
| And I said, in the name of Jesus, take that brace off. | |
| And I didn't even know she could. | |
| And she finagled around. | |
| And all of a sudden, she takes this beautiful brace outside of her sweater and she holds it up. | |
| And the minute she holds it up, she screams, I'm healed. | |
| I got no more pain. | |
| I'm delivered. | |
| And I just believe that the blood speaks healing to our bodies and to our minds. | |
| He cares about every aspect of our being. | |
| So I've seen the blood in active ability to heal. | |
| And I give God praise for that. | |
| He's written a powerful book that really, you go into different chapters. | |
| And let me cover a little bit of the chapters because chapter one, you talk about the blood's decree. | |
| What are we going to find when we enter into chapter one? | |
| What is the blood's decree? | |
| Well, when a king or a magistrate gives a decree, it's final. | |
| It has to be done or else, right? | |
| And when you think about it in terms of the blood of Jesus Christ, there's a legal aspect to it. | |
| In other words, when the blood speaks over our lives, it means it will be done if we trust in the authority of the blood and the authority of the word of God. | |
| I also talk about in the book about the signet ring that magistrates and people would wear. | |
| And when they would send a document or a testament or whatever it was, they would stamp it with that stignet. | |
| And when that stignet appeared, the recipient knew this was official. | |
| This was the word of the king. | |
| And I believe that we as believers in Jesus Christ are stamped with the blood of Jesus Christ. | |
| We've got the signet of the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, whose blood was shed for us on our hearts and lives. | |
| And so the Bible tells us in Revelation, we're kings and priests, no? | |
| And so we have the authority to speak what the blood speaks as kings. | |
| The Bible, Ecclesiastes tells us that where the word of a king is, there's power. | |
| Where the word of a priest is, the Bible says you can declare, a priest can declare something settled, a controversy. | |
| And so we have that power with the blood of Jesus Christ to declare things and to see them happen because the blood says so. | |
| There's an anointing on you. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Praise God. | |
| To God be the glory. | |
| I want you to pray for the people. | |
| Minister to them. | |
| We got several minutes left. | |
| I feel like there's a lot of people that are struggling with health today and they're not using the authority that we have been given through Christ and what he did at the cross. | |
| And I feel like there's a lot of people, not only feel, but I'm talking to a lot of people that they're tormented in their minds. | |
| There's no peace anymore. | |
| We need that power back. | |
| We need healing more than ever. | |
| We need peace of mind more than ever. | |
| And I'm watching the older generation really lose faith in a lot of what was established years ago. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| If you feel like you're part of that older generation, don't give up. | |
| You are still important today as you were when you were back in your teens, maybe in your 30s and 40s. | |
| And if you're facing a difficult situation right now where you need healing, I want you to hear Pastor Jim pray over you. | |
| Healing is going to come over you right now. | |
| Stop everything that you're doing. | |
| All the chaos around you. | |
| Let the people around you tell them to stop moving. | |
| God is about to move on your behalf right now. | |
| Pastor, will you minister to us in the next few moments? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And the anointing that you carry is an anointing that we still need today. | |
| Would you pray for us? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Well, the word says in Matthew 18 that if we agree as touching a matter, it shall be done. | |
| I know you and I are in agreement right now. | |
| And if we agree with what the blood says, we can see mighty miracles. | |
| So stretch out your faith right now, whatever your physical need might be, whatever your emotional need might be. | |
|
Healing Virtue to Flow
00:07:12
|
|
| Jesus paid it all. | |
| He paid for the total man. | |
| In fact, that word shalom means total well-being. | |
| So in the name of Jesus, you might want to stretch your hands, whatever you're comfortable doing. | |
| But in the name of Jesus, we agree right now for healing virtue to flow through your body, mind, and spirit. | |
| Father, we ask you that the anointing that we are sensing on this set will be real and present in their homes right where they are right now, Lord. | |
| Someone that's hopeless, that feels like they're at the end. | |
| Father, renew them like you renew the eagle, Father. | |
| We pray and that they will mount up again with hope and peace and victory. | |
| Father, we thank you for physical miracles, mighty miracles in the name of Jesus. | |
| Cancer, be healed. | |
| Heart disease, be healed. | |
| Diabetes, be healed. | |
| Stroke complications, be healed in the mighty name of Jesus. | |
| Fibrobialgia, be healed right now. | |
| Father, we agree with your word that says with your stripes, we are healed. | |
| Surely you have borne our griefs. | |
| Surely you've carried our sorrows. | |
| Lord, we know that that means our sicknesses and our pains, Lord. | |
| We thank you that with your stripes they are healed right now. | |
| Father, we thank you for the anointing of your Holy Spirit that causes the power of the blood to be quickened in them. | |
| Father, you said if the same spirit that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he will quicken, he will make alive your immortal body. | |
| We pray now for the breath of the Holy Spirit to activate the power of the blood to bring healing and deliverance. | |
| Father, if there's some that are bound mentally, Lord, in any confusion, we break that spirit of bondage. | |
| We know that the anointing of the Spirit of God breaks the yoke. | |
| Father, we thank you, God, that it is done. | |
| And we thank you that the perfect shalom peace of the Lord floods their hearts and mind. | |
| And we give you praise for it. | |
| Miracles, Father, in the name of Jesus. | |
| Father, those that have been bound for years, in Jesus' name, be healed and set free. | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| There's a healing of the heart that is taking place. | |
| And the greatest miracle that you can ever experience is to know Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior. | |
| The Bible says that when you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart, you shall be saved. | |
| Amen. | |
| Maybe you have heartbreaks throughout your life. | |
| Maybe somebody abused you. | |
| Maybe somebody took advantage of you and left you broken and maybe even disappointed of how can a good God allow this to happen in my life. | |
| I want you to confess the Lord with your mouth because the greatest miracle you can experience is the salvation of your soul, your spirit, of your mind, of your body to understand that he loves you. | |
| He died at the cross for you to forgive you of your sins. | |
| Don't leave one more time. | |
| Listen, don't leave the idea that God has a plan for your life. | |
| I know you have been hurt. | |
| I know you've been disappointed. | |
| I know you have been discouraged, but I want you to know that Jesus came to give you peace, not peace like the world gives it, but peace that will surpass the understanding of this world. | |
| You may not understand why you went through what you went through, but it was for this moment. | |
| So you can receive him in your heart. | |
| He will restore you. | |
| Listen, he loves you. | |
| He's crazy about you. | |
| Don't go another day without knowing him as your personal Lord and Savior. | |
| We don't know what tomorrow may bring, but we know who holds tomorrow, and that's him. | |
| Don't give up today. | |
| Receive that healing that Pastor Jim just prayed over you. | |
| Believe it with your heart. | |
| Join a Bible-believing church. | |
| Read the word of God and stand in that declaration of your healing, of your restoration, and knowing that God loves you. | |
| Oh, listen, we're going to come back tomorrow. | |
| We're going to talk more about the power of the blood. | |
| I may even ask him if he can sing a little bit about the blood. | |
| He can't come over here and not sing. | |
| He sang all over the world. | |
| He's going to sing today for you. | |
| And I want you to know something. | |
| Don't give up today. | |
| Keep praying for this ministry. | |
| Keep standing with this ministry. | |
| And if you've been watching this program and you haven't become a partner, join us today. | |
| Call me, 1-888-988-1588 and stand with us. | |
| Help us preach this gospel around the world. | |
| The message of the blood is needed now more than ever. | |
| Don't ignore the blood. | |
| There's power in the blood. | |
| Pastor, as we leave the air, what is the one message you want people to know about your book, about the power of the blood? | |
| Well, I just want them to know that they need to come into agreement with what the blood speaks over them. | |
| And when they do, you know, the word of God tells us that we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. | |
| When we agree with what the blood speaks over us, that's when I believe the power, the anointing for healing and deliverance and everything we need is released. | |
| And so I believe that the Lord wants to get that message across. | |
| Return to the message of the blood in our messages, in our songs, in our testimony, because the blood is going to cause mighty things to happen in these last days. | |
| There you have it. | |
| Call us today and order the book, the blood's decree. | |
| Get a copy for yourself. | |
| Get a copy for your friend. | |
| I always encourage you to get a Baker's dozen and pass them out. | |
| You know why? | |
| Because you can minister to people and evangelize them without even saying anything. | |
| Just say, hey, read this book and tell me what you think. | |
| And people that have an opinion are going to take it and say, I'll tell you what I think about it. | |
| And guess what? | |
| While they're reading the book, something is going to happen. | |
| Order the book today. | |
| Call us, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Pastor Jim, I can't wait to talk to you some more and hear you minister through song. | |
| But listen, we got to go. | |
| But remember this. | |
| Your friend Jim Baker has said this phrase for the last 60 years. | |
| God loves you. | |
| He really does. | |
| We'll see you tomorrow. | |
| Bye-bye. | |
| The Jim Baker Family Show has been a voice of truth, preparation, and hope for generations, and it's only possible because of you. | |
