|
| Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| Our special guest is Pastor Juan Martinez. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega. | |
| And now, here is your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, friends. | |
| You're watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| It's the first day of our Christmas season, and we're excited to celebrate it with you. | |
| Friends, if you're watching us today, never forget that the reason that we celebrate Christmas is all about Jesus. | |
| Friends, the presents are great. | |
| The getting together with your family, depending on your relationship with your family, is great. | |
| But I'm telling you right now, it is all about Jesus. | |
| It's always been about Jesus. | |
| And friends, until he comes back again, it will continue to be about Jesus. | |
| That's why we celebrate Christmas. | |
| I want to say happy holidays to you. | |
| Merry Christmas, wherever you are in the United States of America, around the world. | |
| Never forget, Jesus is truly the reason we celebrate this season right now. | |
| Today, we have an incredible guest with us, Pastor Juan Martinez from Spring, Texas, Get Rap Church. | |
| I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us today. | |
| Thank you, sir. | |
| You wrote a new book called That's Crazy. | |
| No, that's God. | |
| No, that's God. | |
| Now, you actually came in and preached for us. | |
| We're going to put a little video, maybe without some audio, of you preaching at our church, Church 2414, here in Blue Eye, Missouri. | |
| And you preached a sermon. | |
| That's crazy. | |
| No, that's God. | |
| Yeah. | |
| What an incredible thing. | |
| Tell us what that means. | |
| Why did you title the book that? | |
| And you kind of take this as like a life story for you. | |
| All day long. | |
| You know, it's, it's, so I've wrote a few books, but this one right here is like my life message. | |
| You know, we have it on this big wall on the church. | |
| It says, that's crazy. | |
| No, that's God. | |
| So this is, we've been saying this for years at our church. | |
| And it's because, you know, when I got saved, I came out and I started to realize that a lot of people were chasing like all the, you know, God's not moving if it's not big. | |
| You know, if a person didn't get off a wheelchair and it's like all these people are chasing the, that's crazy, but really nobody's doing the that's God, like foundational biblical truth or being led by the Holy Spirit or really like the experiential knowledge of like Jesus, like really walking with Jesus. | |
| I started seeing everybody chasing that, but not live, not bearing fruit. | |
| So I'm, I would, it would annoy me, honestly. | |
| I would be like, man, I can't believe because you're making everybody look bad. | |
| I'm like, no, you know, people just call themselves Christians because they go to church. | |
| So it became a life message for me because I started saying there was a lot of things that would happen in my life and I would think, man, that's crazy. | |
| Or I'm hanging out with somebody and I shared a story and they'll be like, man, that's crazy. | |
| And then one day in the morning, the Lord was like, no, it's me. | |
| That's God. | |
| It's God. | |
| That's incredible. | |
| You wrote another book that we've actually talked about on this broadcast. | |
| If you want to go watch it, download the PTL television app. | |
| You can do it on your iPhone, Android, whatever device you have. | |
| And I want you to see this book, this interview that we did called Prison Break. | |
| Before we jump into the That's Crazy, no, that's God. | |
| Give us a little bit of backstory of who you are and who you were before you became a follower of Christ. | |
| Nice. | |
| So, you know, before I became a follower of Christ, most of my life, I grew up in the hood, you know, where it's an area that most people don't want to go to, right? | |
| Started selling drugs at the age of 13. | |
| And that kind of transpired into worse things. | |
| I always tell people that I did 23 years behind bars, 10 behind physical bars. | |
| The rest were around the bars I place. | |
| I was incarcerated. | |
| You know, I tell people when I go to prisons, I go, look, you think that when you walk out the door, you're going to be free. | |
| But you were actually incarcerated before you got incarcerated. | |
| So I always tell people that for 23 years, I had, you know, bars around my heart. | |
| And that's what kept me locked up. | |
| So when I wrote that book, Prison Break, it was because I saw who the sun says free is free indeed, and I was free. | |
| I came out. | |
| Most people think that the book is about people that are, they go, oh, that's because you were in prison. | |
| I'm like, no, this is for the church. | |
| This is for the church. | |
| Because when I came out, I started seeing that the church wasn't operating in the freedom that God is, that died for, right? | |
| And so that's became the heart of it all. | |
| I got to be free, right? | |
| So I always tell people, hey, do the prison break first and then don't do the that's crazy until you do the prison break because you want to be free and then you want to add Jesus has to be the cornerstone. | |
| When you start reading, that's crazy. | |
| No, that's God. | |
| You're going to go back and look at your life and say, wait a minute, what I thought was crazy was God saving me. | |
| What I thought was a great opportunity. | |
| No, that was a God moment. | |
| And when you start reflecting in the moments that you recognize that is God, Pastor Juan, you're putting us back into giving God the glory. | |
| Yes. | |
| Not our own ability. | |
| That's right. | |
| Now, when I think about, no, that's crazy. | |
| I think about the moments that I went through in my life. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Now, can you define the moments that we think is crazy, but no, it's a God moment? | |
| Well, you know, I think there's a verse that says that they were, if I'm out of my mind, it's for God. | |
| And if I'm in my right mind, it's for you. | |
| And so everything biblical, this is where I think everything in life, I think every day the supernatural should be threaded throughout your life. | |
| Like, so for me, it started with, you know, I tell people before I knew what repentance was, I was kneeling in a cell repenting. | |
| I was confessing to God for about 40 minutes all these things that I felt, man, I'm so sorry for this. | |
| I'm so sorry for that. | |
| That was just inspired by the Holy Spirit as I look back. | |
| It wasn't that somebody told me to do it. | |
| It's just what happened. | |
| And from there, I would have moments. | |
| I remember being incarcerated and thinking, man, you know, I need, you know, envelopes, things that were simple. | |
| And then somebody would come literally like an hour later and say, hey, you need envelopes? | |
| I mean, like, those are moments that I'm like, man, what is going on? | |
| Right. | |
| So I'm always, every little thing that you do every day, defining moments for me started with that, with like me saying something in my prayer life, not really knowing like, because I most of my life I did the Our Father who are in heaven, hallowed be thy name. | |
| And I never really talked to God. | |
| So nobody ever taught me to talk to God. | |
| I just kind of did the Our Father, right? | |
| And so me having conversations with God and then something happening within a day, within a week, and it be spot on. | |
| Like, how do you, how do you explain that? | |
| Yeah. | |
| And so those are the things throughout those times, even me coming out and living life differently as a man with my beautiful wife who's sitting in the audience, you know, me meeting baby Ruth and how we met, which is in the book as well. | |
| And then being different and following godly principles in my life, right? | |
| Because supernatural, a lot of times we make that like a spooky thing. | |
| But the reality is that, you know, everybody thinks supernatural, spooky. | |
| And it's like, no, that is actually the spirit working through the believer, transforming what's natural into something godly. | |
| So every time I said yes to Jesus, I was saying no to the flesh. | |
| Every one of those moments where that's crazy moments for me. | |
| See, if we understood it, then it would be worldly kind of, wouldn't it? | |
| Because we come from a place of we need to understand everything. | |
| The reason why it's so wild or it seems crazy is because it is super added to your natural. | |
| It is something heavenly being applied to your life. | |
| That's right. | |
| Right? | |
| So even scriptures like be quick to listen and so to speak, like we don't see that as supernatural. | |
| But when you apply the word, you're living in the supernatural. | |
| It doesn't have to be a guy getting up from a wheelchair. | |
| That's the big issue. | |
| It says here, when the supernatural becomes your reality. | |
| So I want to ask you this question. | |
| For those who are watching today, is the supernatural supposed to be the reality for every believer? | |
| I think anything, as I was just saying, when you, we don't look at scriptures like be quick to listen and slow to speak and slow to get angry, right? | |
| We do not look at that as supernatural. | |
| In our own strength, you know, I always tell the Bible, people that read the word, I go, look, everything in the word is because pretty much you suck at it. | |
| You're not good at that. | |
| You got to be dependent upon Jesus and the Spirit to actually live that out, right? | |
| Empowered by the Spirit. | |
| So in those things, I believe that every single day in your life, when you're applying the Word and you're being led by the Spirit, it's going to take you into the unknown. | |
| And that's really when you're living out the supernatural, even though blind eyes open, getting up from all of those things are important. | |
| But those things are outcomes, right? | |
| Signs and wonders follow the believer. | |
| Signs and wonders follow the believer. | |
| That means that if I am a believer and I am walking out the word of God, then signs and wonders, I've, you know, even sitting here today to me is like, wow, right? | |
| Because I never, I didn't start this going, oh, I'm going to be this preacher. | |
| I'm going to travel around the world. | |
| Like, I never thought of the outcome. | |
| I just thought of today. | |
| And I worked on the little things well, like praying, fasting, reading my word, then loving my wife, taking care of my home. | |
| And from that, doors started opening and things started happening. | |
| But I was never thinking of the outcome. | |
| Are you with me? | |
| I wasn't like, oh, if I do this, I'm going to have this. | |
| And that's where I think the problem happens because everybody's chasing the big thing. | |
| But what's big to God? | |
| Wow. | |
| What's big to God? | |
| Nothing. | |
| Like you loving yours, you know, the things. | |
| Like, I see the way you guys are with your kids. | |
| Yeah. | |
| We don't think that's supernatural. | |
| No, that's supernatural. | |
| When you're applying a godly and you're parenting your kids the way God wants you to parent them, you got to get excited about those things. | |
| That's where the supernatural starts. | |
|
God's Work In Hearts
00:15:33
|
|
| The rest follows. | |
| Wow. | |
| Because natural for us is not to love immediately or to be affectionate. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| I know for me, it was not normal to love a kid, meaning my kids. | |
| And when now, when I, even my 15-year-old's taller than me, I hug him and I love him and I tell him how proud I am. | |
| I even kiss his cheek. | |
| You know, that's supernatural. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Because let me tell you something. | |
| Do you remember the verse where he says, Lord, Lord, you know, he says, Depart from me. | |
| I never knew you. | |
| Yeah, Matthew 7. | |
| These guys were prophesying. | |
| Casting out demons. | |
| These guys are casting out. | |
| They're doing everything. | |
| When we start to just look for those things, we miss Jesus in the moment. | |
| The intimacy. | |
| Totally. | |
| You miss relationship. | |
| You start chasing after those things. | |
| You're going. | |
| And I'm not against confidence or anything. | |
| They're great, right? | |
| They have their due diligence. | |
| But if that's all you're chasing, you're not chasing Jesus. | |
| And so now we're chasing the signs and wonders and missing out on the part of being a disciple. | |
| That's right. | |
| I want to talk about this. | |
| You know, let's take a step back again. | |
| You're in your prison cell. | |
| You're repenting to the Lord without even really knowing what repenting is. | |
| You're talking to the Lord. | |
| Hey, this is the things that I want to confess. | |
| These are the things I want to confess. | |
| In those moments, were you thinking, okay, hey, I'm going to get out of here and I'm going to be a pastor. | |
| No. | |
| I'm going to get out of here and I'm going to go travel. | |
| I'm going to write books. | |
| I'm going to do this. | |
| I mean, what were you thinking in those moments? | |
| How would it take us from that moment to this moment right here? | |
| Because right now you pastor a wonderful church, Get Wrap Church in Spring, Texas. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Tell us, first off, if someone wants to, if they're in that area, the Houston, Texas area, and they want to be a part of Get Wrapped Church, kind of tell us, you know, service times and where they can find you. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| In Spring, Texas, through 23221, Aldi and Westfield, Spring, Texas. | |
| Get Wrapped. | |
| I mean, there's only one on the planet. | |
| When you put wrap, you're going to find the burrito. | |
| You're going to find some wraps for the stomach. | |
| And then get wrapped church. | |
| And so, you know, it stems from actually wrapped in the love of Christ. | |
| You know, I got wrapped in the love of Christ, right? | |
| So now I want to wrap everyone else in the love of Christ. | |
| And so we call it Get Wrapped for short. | |
| We have Sunday services, three service times, 8:45, 10:30, and 12:15. | |
| And man, the testimonies there are just wild, right? | |
| We reach the lost and the broken. | |
| But this isn't what you saw whenever you were in that moment repenting to the Lord. | |
| You didn't think, okay, I'm going to get out. | |
| I'm going to go find a sweet spot for a church. | |
| I'm going to get three services on a Sunday. | |
| The first thing that happened was I started like I wanted to pray with people. | |
| I wanted to see people free. | |
| So I started going to tables where there would be gangsters and I would kind of go, you know, I'm just trying to live out the Bible. | |
| For me, I just was foolish enough to believe what the Bible was saying. | |
| And so I was like, man, I got to tell everybody. | |
| So nobody told me what an evangelist was. | |
| I just started evangelizing because I just had to tell everybody. | |
| This is where sometimes I'm like, why do I got to tell you? | |
| Like, shouldn't that come from within? | |
| You know, because you just want to tell everybody, right? | |
| When we did drugs, we wanted to tell everybody what kind of drugs to do. | |
| So now all of a sudden, I got Jesus. | |
| I'm going to tables. | |
| I'm talking to them, real nervous about it, right? | |
| Was like, I don't know, what are they going to say to me? | |
| You know, it turned great. | |
| Obviously, those stories are in the book too of when I first started evangelizing. | |
| And then I started doing a prayer group. | |
| Why? | |
| Because I wanted to pray with people. | |
| You know, in this prayer circle, I had a guy named Jonathan who had walked in. | |
| And so I'm just going to give you a little bit of the story. | |
| He walks in. | |
| I had a Jonathan in my life, and I wasn't a very good father until I met the father. | |
| And, you know, he walks in and I go, man, I'm going to disciple this kid, you know, because his name was Jonathan. | |
| And I go, oh, here's my chance for redemption. | |
| And so later, so I'm going to the tree with him and I'm praying with him and a couple guys. | |
| And I'm praying. | |
| And he's like, man, I want my mom to get a Bible. | |
| And so we're praying for her. | |
| And, you know, Lord, I pray, what's your mom's name? | |
| Oh, Ruthie. | |
| Father, we're praying for Ruthie to get a Bible. | |
| Lord, we're praying for Ruthie to find the church. | |
| Later in life, I would marry Ruthie. | |
| Wow. | |
| Wow. | |
| And so now we have two Jonathan. | |
| That's crazy. | |
| That's crazy. | |
| Wow. | |
| That's crazy. | |
| So later, the woman that you prayed for, Lord, get her a Bible is the woman that you're marrying. | |
| Yeah, I went to her. | |
| And you're still married to this day. | |
| Ruthie's here. | |
| I want to say thank you. | |
| Lord, traveling. | |
| What an incredible. | |
| Oh, yeah. | |
| So totally. | |
| You guys pastor this church together. | |
| Yeah. | |
| But right before that, I had to, these are where things start changing because I can go to Houston and instantly be with her. | |
| Yeah. | |
| But I knew what I was used to in the natural. | |
| And God's like, no, you, you got to don't mess that woman up. | |
| You need to keep chasing after me. | |
| So I told her and she's like, well, if you, you know, no, I'm not going to wait. | |
| And so I was okay with it. | |
| So I'm like, okay, if you're not going to wait for me, I go, look, I don't want to go over there and start getting high. | |
| Like, I need to do what God is telling me. | |
| So I wounded up going to Calvary Commission. | |
| This is where I got my prayer line, you know, all kinds of stuff, right? | |
| And I'm there and I'm still walking this out. | |
| I am clueless. | |
| I go to a guy one day. | |
| He's, he's kind of like in another room with me. | |
| And he's like, I go, Hey, he goes, What do you want to do? | |
| I go, man, I'm going to reach millions. | |
| Because, you know, you get excited. | |
| You want to do everything. | |
| You want to be a pastor, an evangelist, an apostle. | |
| You want to be them all. | |
| And so he's like, he goes, what if God is having you reach one? | |
| That's good. | |
| I was kind of frustrated because I'm like, man, reach one. | |
| What's that going to do? | |
| That ain't crazy. | |
| I go, that's nothing. | |
| He goes, no, no, no, that one's going to reach millions, though. | |
| Are you good with that? | |
| And I remember walking away real frustrated, wanted to be in ministry, but I didn't know what ministry looked like. | |
| So this guy comes and he goes, Are you ready for ministry? | |
| And I go, Am I ready for ministry? | |
| I go, Absolutely. | |
| I'm thinking I'm preaching to the biggest crowd ever. | |
| He hands me a dog outfit and he says, You are going to minister. | |
| And I go, I am. | |
| I was so upset. | |
| I'm like, this is a dog outfit. | |
| He said, you're going to try. | |
| I'm going to preach. | |
| You're going to translate. | |
| So the dog's going to preach. | |
| So when I say the gospel, you say, and I go, you got to be kidding me. | |
| God was doing something in my heart. | |
| I remember putting it on, seeing a bunch of kids and actually put the dog suit on. | |
| I did. | |
| I did because I did not want to miss the moment. | |
| God hides things in insignificant places because what you see, you're looking for the big. | |
| He's looking for the little things. | |
| You do the faithful in the little things. | |
| He makes you ruler over much. | |
| So I took the dog outfit and I just didn't, I was the best rover the other comer they've ever seen. | |
| I was dancing. | |
| I was These kids are happy. | |
| And the Lord said, See how I move? | |
| Wow. | |
| And that led me to the next thing and the next thing. | |
| So, no, I never thought I would be pastoring a church. | |
| I never knew I would be authoring a book. | |
| I've just always focused on the little things. | |
| When I, from fasting, when I first started fasting, on the top of my list was always my marriage. | |
| I just knew, I said, Lord, you know, the house, all that, that's irrelevant. | |
| I just want a great marriage. | |
| And so, I've just always worked on taking care of the people in front of me to the best of my ability. | |
| And God has just kept opening doors. | |
| So, I've never thought I was going to be a pastor. | |
| Even that was wild how that happened. | |
| You know, I just think every single story, you know, he had me do a Spanish, you know, I met the American Jesus, right? | |
| My Jesus didn't speak Spanish. | |
| You know, he spoke to me in English, is what I mean, you know. | |
| And so, uh, they asked me to be Spanish pastors. | |
| We prayed, fasted. | |
| I was like, nah, I don't want to be no pastor. | |
| And then all of a sudden, you know, I wind up doing it and I gained the heart of a pastor. | |
| And again, he hid something in a place that I would never go seek it. | |
| Amen. | |
| But I just said yes to it. | |
| And those are the moments that bring this to the that's crazy. | |
| No, no, that's God. | |
| God. | |
| Now with Get Rap Church, you're doing something incredible. | |
| Friends, I want you to watch this. | |
| They're doing an event called Night Out with Jesus. | |
| And if you're watching this and this is somewhere near your area, a church is doing it. | |
| Get involved with this. | |
| I want you to watch this. | |
| this church is up to. | |
| The heavens is more. | |
| I'm fired up right now. | |
| Come on. | |
| Tell us about what is Night Out with Jesus. | |
| I'm fired up. | |
| I didn't know if I wanted to cry. | |
| I feel like I'm having a that's crazy know that's God moment right now. | |
| Let me let me tell you something. | |
| Why? | |
| Let me tell you you'll understand once I share this. | |
| So, you know, Night Out with Jesus started. | |
| Me and Ruthie, you know, I gotten out of prison, um, things started getting a little better. | |
| So, you know, at first we were eating baloney, right? | |
| But we were in love and we were doing the kingdom work. | |
| So none of that mattered. | |
| We were just focused on loving each other and loving our kids, right? | |
| And so I told her, Look, I want to do a night out with Jesus. | |
| She's like, what's that? | |
| I go, we're going to take the little money that we have and we usually go eat somewhere. | |
| You know, it's Friday night. | |
| And instead of spending it on ourselves, we're going to take that money and we're going to spend it on someone else. | |
| Night out with Jesus. | |
| So it's me, Ruthie, and Jesus, right? | |
| So we go and we would pay for somebody's meal and then we'd watch and then you'd see them like, who paid? | |
| You know, they get all weirded out. | |
| They'd laugh, you know, and then we'd leave. | |
| We'd go home because that was our night out with Jesus. | |
| It was me and Ruthie, Jesus blessing someone else. | |
| So as time passed, you know, we got to church and we were like, hey, we're going to do a night out with Jesus. | |
| Everybody, instead of going out on a Friday, everybody come. | |
| About 100 people showed up. | |
| You know, they started coming out. | |
| We started giving pizzas away. | |
| We started praying for people. | |
| We call it revival with sneakers on, right? | |
| It's not in a building. | |
| It's love has broken out of the building. | |
| And so we would go into the gas pumps and we started doing all this stuff. | |
| Our hearts were always like, I said, man, God, imagine if all of social media was just filled with night out with Jesus in different places, just the body of Christ. | |
| Because people would say, man, I wish I lived in spring. | |
| You know, I'm like, I'm so sorry. | |
| And I'm like, you could do it where you're at. | |
| You could actually, you know, grab your money, go out, night out with Jesus. | |
| Imagine flooding. | |
| There's so many problems today. | |
| Imagine being unified by the Spirit of Christ, no matter where you're at, to be the hands and feet of Jesus. | |
| Doesn't matter who you are, doesn't matter. | |
| Look, get out there, right? | |
| And then, you know, a church came along. | |
| Now we have 15 churches across America doing night out with Jesus, including church 2414 right here in Missouri. | |
| That's right. | |
| An incredible thing. | |
| And friends, this is a that's crazy, no, that's God moment to see this come to this place. | |
| You've told your story, we've seen it, and this really is your life story. | |
| Yeah, a point where you're broken. | |
| The world would have said, This man has no future, but God said, I have something incredible for him. | |
| Now you're impacting really hundreds of thousands of lives through your story, your testimony. | |
| Can you share with us one more time as we go off? | |

| Tell someone that's crazy, no, that's God moment where they will be in the book, where they can say, you know what? | |
| I want to get that for that story. | |
| Let me tell you something. | |
| I was a guy who was full of anger, you know, crazy. | |
| Not God, but crazy, crazy, right? | |
| And let me tell you something. | |
| Being quick to listen, and so to speak, I'm trying to show you guys that that is supernatural. | |
| Today, I can have conversations with people. | |
| I don't blow up. | |
| Like all of these things, for a person that knew me here, I am a totally transformed person. | |
| And I believe God, that is crazy. | |
| I am not the way I was at all, even though I still have the same personality. | |
| I'm a person who loves the Lord, loves Jesus. | |
| And I can give you stories in there about people throwing their walkers across the room and the service starting at 10 and ending at three o'clock, where the whole town knew this guy. | |
| And all of a sudden, he is running around the sanctuary. | |
| But I want you to understand that today, you being patient, you being having peace in the middle of a storm is just as supernatural. | |
| So the stories that are in there and the stories that I could give you, I like thinking of the day-to-day things. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, today, 8 million people heard of something that started with two people. | |
| Amen. | |
| That's crazy. | |
| Amen. | |
| No, that's God. | |
| Come on. | |
| If somebody knows that they have a call of God in their life, they know that something great is for them because the Lord has something wonderful in store, but they're letting fear and doubt and shame hold them back. | |
| What would be your message to the person sitting at home watching from their office or just watching as they're washing their dishes right now, listening to this in a podcast format? | |
| What would be your message to them today? | |
| Man, you know what? | |
| Get your ways from the Lord because God has not given you the spirit of fear, but of power, love, and sound mind. | |
| And let me tell you something. | |
| Doing things that God is asking you to do according to scripture is always going to seem wild and crazy, but you're going to have to trust in the Lord and stop leaning on what you understand and do it anyway. | |

Step Into Faith
00:03:04
|
|
| Do it afraid. | |
| Step in, step on the water. | |
| He's saying come. | |
| I think what we mess up is we hear all these stories and we follow reels, but we're not in our word. | |
| So we don't have Jesus speaking to us directly. | |
| We have reels and you're hearing all these stories. | |
| Well, that's what God said to you guys, right? | |
| Like you'll say, oh, I gave a car away. | |
| And they're like, I'm giving away my car today. | |
| Not if God didn't tell you to. | |
| So today, don't operate out of the spirit of fear. | |
| Move in the spirit of faith and let the Holy Spirit lead you into something that will make the world say that's crazy, but will say, no, that's God. | |
| That's God. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| Pastor John, you wrote a book called Prison Break. | |
| You also wrote another book, a third book. | |
| This is your first book ever. | |
| I want to talk about that just for a second because maybe something big is going to be happening with that too. | |
| It will. | |
| Amen. | |
| Beyond the Yellowbrook Road. | |
| There we go. | |
| Yeah. | |
| So tell us, give us a quick synopsis of the book so people can go find it. | |
| Hopefully, we have a big announcement coming up. | |
| We'll have to get back on with that as well. | |
| But Beyond the Yellowbrick Road, first book, Prison Break, second book. | |
| That's crazy. | |
| No, that's God. | |
| Would you recommend people reading them in order? | |
| Or tell me how you could do it. | |
| I don't know. | |
| Beyond the Yellowbrick Road is a parallel. | |
| Like, it's not about wizards, even though it has a lot of the Wizard of Oz. | |
| Because you have to say that because the minute you say The Wizard of Oz, they're like, oh, wizards. | |
| It's like, no, it's nothing that has to do with wizards. | |
| But it's a story of Dorothy, how she was going through all this trouble and she wanted to run away, but she needed to confront the witch. | |
| And so I believe as believers, there's a path, right? | |
| She never really went anywhere. | |
| That was all in her mind because she was still at home with Anien. | |
| And I believe as believers, we need to confront the very thing with the power of the Holy Spirit, go face on, destroy it with the word, which was a bucket of water she used. | |
| And pretty much, you're not only free, but everyone there also gets free. | |
| And so that book is about identifying the lies in your life and replacing it with truth so that you will be set free. | |
| Because you remember when she throws the bucket of water and she's like, I'm melting. | |
| I'm melting. | |
| Do you remember that? | |
| The guys behind there, they were like, thank you. | |
| Because that thing that's tormenting you is tormenting a bunch of people too. | |
| Wow. | |
| And when you get set free, it has the power to set everybody you're connected with free. | |
| Amen. | |
| We have Prison Break. | |
| It's another. | |
| It's a 21-day devotional. | |
| You recommend doing it in that order. | |
| Make sure it's a 21-day thing. | |
| Don't read through it all. | |
| No. | |
| At one time. | |
| And then you have that's crazy. | |
| No, that's God. | |
