Skywatch TV Ministry
00:11:30
|
|
| The following program may contain material that is not suitable for all audiences. | |
| Viewer discretion is advised. | |
| Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| Our special guest is the CEO of Skywatch TV and best-selling author, Joe Artis Horn. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega. | |
| Now here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, friends. | |
| You're watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| It's an honor you have tuned in with us today. | |
| As Pastor Jim Baker would always say, don't touch that dial. | |
| Well, friends, we don't have dials on our televisions anymore, so don't swipe away from that screen. | |
| Stay tuned. | |
| We have Joe Artis Horn. | |
| He's the CEO of Skywatch TV. | |
| And I want to say thank you and welcome to our broadcast. | |
| God bless you for being here. | |
| This is the first time you've done a formal interview here by yourself, really as the CEO of Skywatch TV. | |
| Yeah, yeah. | |
| Of course, this hall brings back so many epic memories, doesn't it, Mondo? | |
| Yes, it does. | |
| Talking about the giants. | |
| My father, Dr. Thomas Horne, your father, Jim Baker, Lori Baker sitting right over there. | |
| So many memories. | |
| My mother is here today. | |
| Oh, the beautiful. | |
| Juanita Horn. | |
| Mrs. Horn. | |
| And I have sat out there so many times and listened to the opinions and the thoughts of greatness. | |
| Amen. | |
| Your father was a giant. | |
| I've been in circles with leaders and how they talked about your father and expressing that their ministry, their writings, their way their teaching was birth from listening to your father, watching him, reading. | |
| And then I'm sitting there and I'm realizing I've been a spoiled brat. | |
| It's real to city. | |
| Because to sit next to him and had conversations and being advised by your father and giving me, I cannot tell you the gems of knowledge that I still think about today. | |
| And Dr. Tom Horne lives on through his writings, but through your family. | |
| And by the way, you're doing a great job, Detroit. | |
| Thank you. | |
| You really are. | |
| Thank you, Mondo. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Amazing job. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Today, we're going to be diving into a powerful new book that you've written called Innocent Shatter. | |
| But give us an update. | |
| How is Whispering Ponies Ranch doing? | |
| How is Skywatch TV doing? | |
| And where can our partners go to support this? | |
| Oh, wonderful. | |
| And thank you for the question. | |
| So Whispering Ponies Ranch, we just finished one of the strongest ministerial seasons we've ever had this year. | |
| And for those unfamiliar, what is Whispering Ponies Ranch? | |
| There it is. | |
| It is an oasis where children that have been pulled out of sex trafficking. | |
| Many of these kids are wards of the state. | |
| They are victims of an overburdened foster care system. | |
| And we can get into some of that today if you want to talk about it. | |
| But these kids have faced all kinds of abuse and they come here for Christ-centered rehabilitation program. | |
| They get to learn that they have value, that Jesus loves them, that he gave them life and gave them purpose. | |
| And it's all very cathartic. | |
| It's very therapeutic. | |
| Very highly trained volunteers and specialists come and help walk these kids through a series of programs that are set up to teach them affirmation success. | |
| They get to overcome things like the rock wall. | |
| And of course, you're seeing the playground. | |
| They get to learn to wait their turn. | |
| A lot of these kids have no social development. | |
| So they get to wait their turn for an activity. | |
| They get to share. | |
| Something also very amazing is a lot of these children that we serve at Whispering Ponies Ranch have never been celebrated in terms of birthday. | |
| Many of them don't even know what their birthday actually is. | |
| And so we give each child during their week at Whispering Ponies Ranch their own. | |
| There I am running the rock wall. | |
| There we are. | |
| In the belay. | |
| That's right. | |
| There's my father before he passed away. | |
| Still working. | |
| Still working. | |
| That was the last season he was there. | |
| Every kid gets a personal pan pie, excuse me, a personal pan-sized birthday cake and either a boy or gift for a boy, a gift for a girl, so gender-specific gifts to affirm how God created them because the world is telling them a different narrative. | |
| Amen. | |
| And sorry, I'm in part I'm distracted by my own girl watching her kids. | |
| Okay, that I got to tell you about right there. | |
| What you're seeing right there is the plant a tree ceremony that takes place every Friday. | |
| These little kids get to write letters to the Lord. | |
| Wow. | |
| This could be a shame cycle that they're confessing they've been grappling with. | |
| This could be someone they wish to forgive. | |
| Wow. | |
| An abuser, somebody that has put hands on the child or done unthinkable things to the child that they want to let go of. | |
| Of course, they write these letters down and then they plant them in the ground and then, of course, plant a tree on top of that. | |
| And it is a symbol of God restoring and bringing new life. | |
| A lot of these kids come back the following year and the tree has new branches. | |
| This symbolizes growth, possibility, potential. | |
| This is beautiful. | |
| And incredible work. | |
| And I want our partners to be able to go and support something like this. | |
| How can somebody get behind Whispering Ponies Ranch? | |
| Because I know our partners, there's people who've been out there who have gone through traumatic events, but they were never able to get the healing as kids. | |
| Therefore, they had to battle it as young adults and as older people. | |
| I mean, they're 60, 70, 80 years old, Mondo. | |
| We've gotten letters, people saying, I'm still trying to forgive someone who abused me 60 years ago. | |
| That's right. | |
| They want to support something like this because they say, you know what, I see the value in that. | |
| How can they do that? | |
| You would go to skywatchtv.com. | |
| You can also go to whisperingponiesranch.com, but skywatch TV is the 501c3 non-for-profit ministry that underwrites, at no expense, by the way, to the organizations that we serve, like Royal FamilyKids, for the children.org, Teen Reach. | |
| We are able to underwrite those ministerial programs because of the charitable giving that people watching Skywatch TV donate to that 501c3. | |
| So we're able to do that because of people's generosity and their belief in the rehabilitation of many of the victims that we're going to be talking about today that come as a side effect of a dark little secret that Western civilization is hiding. | |
| Yeah. | |
| You know, we're going to continue to talk about this. | |
| You wrote a book called Innocence Shattered, which is coming out with Charisma Media. | |
| It says, Dismantling the Insidious War Against Our Children. | |
| You wrote a powerful book, and this isn't something that just anybody could write. | |
| Tell us why you chose to tackle this subject because a lot of ministers, and I'm just going to be blunt like I always am. | |
| It's, you know, we could take the easier route of writing feel-good books and trying to sell as many of those and getting our pastoral staff more money and all this stuff. | |
| But you said, you know what, I'm going to tackle one of the most insidious industries, and you've actually had some warfare because of it too, haven't you? | |
| So what inspires you to really dive in fully with this? | |
| I can tell you, gentlemen, from real life experience, that if you were looking to go viral, if you were looking to sell a lot of books and be popular, this would probably be the worst possible subject. | |
| And I told God, I said, I will do this thing, but it's going to be very difficult to get this message on a lot of the outlets that I'm familiar with. | |
| You guys have been gracious. | |
| Mondo told me yesterday via text, be uncensored, share what you must. | |
| Raise attention because Lucifer has waged an all-out war on an entire generation of young people. | |
| That's right. | |
| And Western civilization, unfortunately, is not really paying attention. | |
| No. | |
| Now, what do I mean by that? | |
| It comes in many, many different packages, many, many different ways of deceiving our young people, Mondo. | |
| It is AI companion apps that are being fostered now that children are downloading to replace the idea. | |
| Let's be honest about what this is, replace the idea that you need a mentor. | |
| That's right. | |
| This is someone that you, or a God. | |
| You don't need to be submissive to a creator. | |
| AI companion apps that are there to console you. | |
| When you have questions about how God maybe designed you or public school is teaching you that your gender is really up for selective automation, you can choose your own reality. | |
| Remember those books, those choose your own reality books? | |
| Your feelings are what guide science. | |
| You can identify as anything you want to be. | |
| Of course, this is being reinforced in the classroom. | |
| This is coming in by way of the cartoons that many giant corporations are purposefully illustrating to propagandize this generation of young people to further confuse them. | |
| That's right. | |
| It comes in so many packages, in so many ways. | |
| Children are being raised mostly by screens these days because the nuclear family has experienced a total shift in how income is aggregated. | |
| So now, instead of father being the breadwinner, mother now has to go get a job. | |
| Kids are learning everything that they learn through the locker rooms at public school, scuttlebud hearsay, bathroom chat. | |
| And then, of course, they come home and then they're continued being raised by screens. | |
| So whatever it is they're watching on giant, you guys may have noticed recently, and I don't think I have to be censored when I say this as permano, but recently Netflix has lost an estimated $15 billion following backlash over its animated show Dead End Paranormal Park, | |
| which features themes that we're not going to edify or talk about, but basically present us with another example of this Luciferian way of trying to propagandize children away from the idea of a messiah or a messiah or a creator and instead replace the family construct through digital technology and through really poorly forged friendships. | |
| I want to show you this article came out a few days ago. | |
| Millions of American teens are being seduced by AI chatbots. | |
| Yes. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| You better check what your teenagers are looking at, monitor it, but yet parents, all we do is lecture our children and not teach our children. | |
| That's right. | |
| There's a difference between teaching and lecturing. | |
| We have mastermind and understood how to lecture, but we haven't taught our kids. | |
| Teaching means you have to spend time, time that mom and dad don't have. | |
| But I want to tell you something. | |
| The most expensive thing that you will ever give up is time. | |
| And if you don't put your time where it belongs with your children, someone else is spending billions of dollars to spend time answering the very questions that mom and dad are capable of answering. | |
| Yet we don't make time. | |
| When you hear, when you see this article, what comes to your mind of millions of American teens are being seduced? | |
| That's a strong word, Joe. | |
| No, it's absolutely perfectly selected, though, seduced by AI chatbots. | |
| This goes so much darker. | |
| This goes so much broader than what we even have time to unpack today in two network programs. | |
| And the church is in large part one of the reasons why we're seeing an entire generation of young people groomed for abduction, forced prostitution, trafficking. | |
| Now, I just said the church, a lot of people are like, wait a minute, he couldn't have meant the church. | |
| He meant someone else. | |
| No, I have all of the receipts and they exist in this book. | |
| And it comes by way. | |
|
Church's Role in Pornography Problem
00:15:42
|
|
| Yeah, I'm stealing my book back, Ricky. | |
| I like that. | |
| But I brought the receipts and they've been put in this book and it's been shattered. | |
| It literally lays out the irrefutable framework that the church is in part underwriting the demand for paid for, can I just say what it is? | |
| Please. | |
| I want to make sure that I'm not taking your channel off the air with this. | |
| The church is responsible in part for the demand now that is on escalation in the United States in particular at warp speed, the demand for paid for sex with children. | |
| Now, wait a minute. | |
| Did he really just call out the church for this? | |
| Uh-oh. | |
| Did he? | |
| Yeah. | |
| Say it again. | |
| The church is in part responsible for the demand that is skyrocketing for the paid-for sex with children. | |
| Now, how is that possible? | |
| Because they are harboring a dark little secret, Mondo. | |
| What is that? | |
| The church is highly addicted to pornography. | |
| The porn industry, it's an irrefutable fact that the porn industry has a one-per-one ratio, that every bit of click, every bit of interaction, every bit of engagement, every support via the viewership of those at home clicking on things they would never admit to their congregation has a direct cause and effect by raising the demand for those now who have grown past their ability to self-titillate or satiate their desires with simply what they can watch at home. | |
| And now they're looking for a way to pay for this. | |
| And of course, the encounters that they're looking for have also progressed because one of the most effective Luciferian lies in the history of the world, Ricky, is the idea that when you say to God, I divorce myself from your Holy Spirit. | |
| I no longer care for your conviction. | |
| In fact, it hassles me because it brings a guilt or a shame cycle to this thing that I want more than your calling. | |
| Wow. | |
| It opens the imagination to a slippery slope of absolute progressionism. | |
| There is no way to satiate your flesh and ever achieve satisfaction. | |
| So it's the slippery slope. | |
| It starts off, we're not going to get into the details of this, and I don't want to give anybody any ideas, but it starts off a person watching normal hetero content with what they tell themselves is consensual, which may not always be. | |
| 100%. | |
| We can get into that if you want, but a lot of what you're watching out on screen is actually forced prostitution taking place on video, and you're supporting these industries. | |
| Yeah. | |
| But what starts off, a momentary titillation, a momentary, hey, I believe I was satiated, only gives rise to an increased appetite for more. | |
| How many of you remember that old saying, when you give a mouse a cookie, he wants a glass of milk. | |
| Wow. | |
| That's an oversimplification of the dilemma, but that's basically what it is. | |
| So without bumper rails, God says, Ephraim has joined his idols. | |
| Leave him alone. | |
| You've rejected the Holy Spirit until he steps back and he acknowledges that God has given you free will and you're embracing this thing without any bumper rails. | |
| Wow. | |
| If you talk to almost every inmate serving out a life sentence for having done the unthinkable things to other human beings, some who they've literally taken the lives of, damaged those that are still alive beyond recognition, most of them will admit that it was the porn industry that started them down this path of seeing the people on screen as not human beings, son, daughters, mothers, aunts, people, | |
| but playthings that only exist to satisfy whatever their fantasies have now erected. | |
| Does that make sense? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| So one of the biggest Luciferian lies is that you can somehow deal with this interpersonally. | |
| You can keep this under wraps, put a lid on it. | |
| You can pastor on Sunday morning, and this is your private struggle that, you know, God's working on you, Ricky. | |
| He's working on you, and he'll get you there eventually. | |
| We've had some successes. | |
| We made a few days before we slipped again. | |
| Well, doggone it, we slip, but you know, a righteous man rises on the seventh day, and God's going to work this through. | |
| This is one of the biggest Luciferian cycles that the church is indulging in right now in 2025. | |
| And it absolutely does fuel the industries. | |
| So why doesn't the church address it? | |
| Why doesn't the church address it? | |
| Well, how many ministers do you believe would have, and of course I have the receipts, we can go over some of this, but the church is giving the shame cycle the ministry-ending embarrassment. | |
| How many of these ministers do you believe have an appetite to go make this a confessionary move to their congregation? | |
| I brought some Barna research from 2020, if you'd like to go over this. | |
| Let's do it. | |
| In 2020, Barner Research revealed that 57% of our senior pastors, and even more when you get into the youth pastors, 64% of youth pastors right now in the United States, either currently or sometime in their past, have wrestled with porn addiction with an absolute floor of no less than about 20%. | |
| So picture this. | |
| You're at a Bible conference based on this research. | |
| And by the way, these were individuals that confessed to this. | |
| Yeah, the ones that will be. | |
| So imagine, that actually, yeah, that actually admitted to this. | |
| So you can imagine how massive this problem actually is, given the fact that this would be ministry ending, right? | |
| With an absolute floor of about 20%. | |
| So picture you're at a Bible conference. | |
| You've got 300 people walking around. | |
| Now, this is where my brain goes. | |
| And you can call me distrusting or paranoid, Mondo, but my brain almost pictures if you were to organize this into blue and red or yellow and purple so that people don't think I'm code language speaking politics. | |
| But if you were to separate this out to those that are addicted to pornography from the ones that are hiding it but are, two out of every 10. | |
| Wow. | |
| Two out of every 10. | |
| And it's worse with your youth pastors. | |
| Yeah. | |
| So your young 13-year-old son or daughter might be attending church with one of these closet users of pornography. | |
| Now, it gets worse. | |
| Less than 1%, friends, even recommend telling their congregation that this is something that they're indulging in. | |
| Only 8% of the pastors think that a pastor should resign his or her position if they're struggling with porn use. | |
| But they continue this cycle. | |
| We're going to collapse this because I could go on and on. | |
| I've got pages and pages of notes. | |
| And this is Barna. | |
| This is Barna research. | |
| This is completely sound. | |
| A lot of respect goes out to Barna. | |
| This is not a clown show. | |
| These are very highly reputable information aggregators. | |
| And only 10% of the U.S. Christians say that their church offers porn addiction support. | |
| This is why I say that it is the church's dark little secret because it is massive. | |
| It is rampant. | |
| Nobody wants to talk about it. | |
| It is fueling the demand for paid-for sex with kids, and no church wants to deal with it. | |
| And I will say, we do see church programs that are, you know, alcoholic recovery, drug addiction recovery, all these different. | |
| But rarely have I ever seen a church that I have seen a few good churches in Texas that do have pornography recovery programs, but very, very few. | |
| So why don't more churches step up and say, hey, this is a real issue. | |
| Let's begin the process of helping people heal. | |
| To my knowledge, there's no database anywhere that answers that question directly. | |
| But if you look at the shame, the ministry ending side effects of having to admit this, to me, it disqualifies you immediately from being the head of anything. | |
| You need help. | |
| And a lot of these people, by the way, are victims. | |
| So if you think I'm being really harsh, when I say yes, you, pastor of said church, you are every click underwriting some child that's locked in a dog cage somewhere that is awaiting its next abuse cycle. | |
| Yes, I mean that with all of my heart. | |
| The receipts are in the book and it'sn't shattered. | |
| That's right. | |
| But I don't just say that to make you suicidal. | |
| A lot of the people struggling with this already are suicidal because they grapple with the shame of feeling fraudulent. | |
| They grapple with the heaviness of feeling like their life is misrepresented to a body of people that believe in them. | |
| And many of them are victims themselves. | |
| This is why I would say you really do need help. | |
| I don't hate you. | |
| My heart breaks for you, but you're probably ignorant to the fact that your actions are the direct side effect, or excuse me, that your actions have a direct side effect of causing this demand. | |
| You know, years ago, and our time is leaving, but years ago, especially in the late 90s, social media wasn't involved as hard as it is today. | |
| But I was talking to the district manager of one of the largest hotels in America, and he said he loved having the Christian conferences come in because it made more money for them than any other organization. | |
| And I said, well, how is so? | |
| He said, there's two big components that our hotel makes more money at that time. | |
| One was alcohol, and the other one was paying for porn. | |
| He said, when Christian conferences will come into town, the largest consumer of alcohol and pornography. | |
| Now, you have to understand pornography back then, you had to pay for access. | |
| Not like today that your access is on your phone and no one can track you. | |
| Back then, they have to track every room. | |
| If back then was a problem, can you imagine where we are today? | |
| listen you got to get the book get the book for your pastor your youth pastor get it for your son get it for your as a matter of fact i've seen reports joe that women are consuming pornography at a faster pace than men There's a problem in the house. | |
| There's a problem in the church. | |
| There's a problem in the business world. | |
| And if you want to be a part of the solution, the key is get a practical book that can help understand how the problem looks like. | |
| But the problem doesn't end or starts or ends with the person consuming it. | |
| It affects the people behind the screen. | |
| These are children you're talking about. | |
| These are teenagers that you're talking about. | |
| They look older because they make them look older. | |
| But if you ask their age, it will surprise you. | |
| They will be the age of your granddaughter. | |
| Get a Baker's dozen and pass them out to everyone that you know and just say, I would like you to get your opinion on this. | |
| Call the number right now or go to the website, jimbakershow.com and visit the affiliate page with Charisma House and get 13 copies. | |
| Please, if there's a message that we need to get out, it's this one. | |
| There's a solution, there's hope, but you have to have the information available to you in order to do that, Ricky. | |
| This is one of the most shattering conversations that you can have, but one of the most freeing conversations you'll ever experience. | |
| That's right. | |
| We want you to have the opportunity to go and get this book. | |
| Watch this book trailer from Innocence Shattered. | |
| Millions of young people are falling victim to an all-out Luciferian war being waged over their minds, souls, and very lives. | |
| It is beyond insidious and far worse than anything that decent people could ever imagine. | |
| From the far-reaching sex trade industry and predators exploiting an overburdened foster care system to educators attempting to normalize the evils of pedophilia. | |
| This war involves corrupt government officials, institutionalized religious leaders, Hollywood elites, and unknown wealthy bureaucrats who prey upon society's most vulnerable, our children. | |
| What's worse is this massive crisis hiding in plain sight is being fueled by a porn industry that 57% of our pastors and 65% of our youth pastors admit to indulging in. | |
| I believe the Spirit of God is going to bring judgment to his people, in particular, for turning a blind eye to these atrocities, while at the same time, he is illuminating this darkness for those with eyes to see and ears to hear. | |
| The new book, Innocence Shattered, Dismantling the Insidious War Against Our Children, uncovers how this spiritual assault is destroying an entire generation. | |
| It is a call to action, challenging all of us to rise up for our nation's most vulnerable, break the cycle of abuse, and stand in the gap for the least of these. | |
| Friends, I want to encourage you, go and get this book. | |
| It's with Charisma House Publishing. | |
| You are not going to. | |
| Like Mondo said, not just want to get one. | |
| Get this for your pastor, your youth pastor, the elders in your church. | |
| Take this and use it as a Wednesday night study guide for the conversations you need to be having in your home with other believers, because this is important, Mondo. | |
| Listen, if there was ever a moment we haven't even touched on missing kids, the foster care system is broken, it's shattered, and yet some of you are guilty about it. | |
| You know the truth and you're not standing up for the truth. | |
| As we're ending, what message of hope can you give us? | |
| Because there has to be hope. | |
| That is one of the biggest reasons that I wrote the book, Innocent Shattered. | |
| We just barely scraped the surface with this program, talking about just one area of this Luciferian war, how it's affecting our church, the adult entertainment, air quotes, entertainment industry. | |
| We have not even gotten into mass shootings, the foster care system being overburdened and all the blind spots and the malevolent actors that are exploiting that and why these kids are coming up missing and how that's happening in the United States without a chain of custody. | |
| There's so many things that we talked about in the book, but Jesus prioritized the children when everybody else treated them as a peripheral. | |
| And I see that that's playing out right now in Western civilization. | |
| Where in the world do we live in the Bible Belt and have any ability at all to say, where did all the kids' programs go? | |
| That's right. | |
| When we moved here to Missouri 17 years ago, my wife and I thought we were going to have our choice of this smorgasbord of children-focused programs. | |
| And I'm sorry to say this, but there's very few churches that prioritize it at all. | |
| And I can tell you in a future podcast why my father prophetically said that this would happen. | |
| If you want me to in the next program, I know we're about out of time, but Jesus prioritized the children when the rest of the children, when the rest of the world acted as though they were a distraction and a peripheral. | |
| We have to start doing the same thing because if you want to know what tomorrow looks like, Mondo, Ricky, you look at the quality of the children that you're raising today. | |
| Wow. | |
| Wow. | |
| That's a good word. | |
| Friends, I want to say thank you for watching the PTL Television Network and the Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| Continue to watch, continue to support. | |
| And friends, I am going to urge you, go and get this book, Innocence Shattered, Dismantling the Insidious War Against Our Children. | |
| You can see it there on the screen. | |
| Take a picture of that. | |
| Go and look at the affiliate program we have with Charisma Media and get this book. | |
| You can scan the QR code on the bottom of your screen as well or call that number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |

Encourage To Give Your Life To Jesus
00:01:32
|
|
| We're going to have Joe Artis Horn back with us again for another program. | |
| But friends, I want to encourage you, give your life to Jesus today. | |
| If you're watching this and you have not given your life to the Lord, if you're watching this, you're saying, you know what? | |
| I'm that person right now that is struggling with these addictions. | |
| Friends, there's only one way to have that broken off, and that's to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit, a relationship with Jesus Christ, and have accountability for the rest of your life. | |
| That's a word we've avoided in the church. | |
| But friends, it's a word that we need to get back in the forefront of our church. | |
| Accountability, once again. | |
| If you need help praying that salvation prayer, we want to be there and partner with you. | |
| Call our number. | |
| It's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| We'll help you find a good Bible-believing church in your area. | |
| We'll help do some of the legwork for you so we can get you in a good church knowing that you're being fed the entire word of God. | |
| Friends, we have to go. | |
| This is all the time we have today, but never forget this. | |
| As Pastor Jim Baker has said for so many years, and it's still true every time he says it. | |
