Spiritual Deliverance Needed
00:15:28
|
|
| Today on the Jim Baker Family Show, we will discuss how demonic influence has reached into our homes, our families, and maybe even our churches. | |
| Today's special guests are Pastor Juan Martinez, an author and expert on spiritual deliverance. | |
| Sergio Nazir Chavez, pastor of the Hope Center in Baltimore, Maryland, and evangelist John Ramirez, a former satanic priest transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo De La Vega. | |
| And now, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, friends. | |
| You're watching the PTL Television Network. | |
| It's exciting. | |
| You have tuned in with us today. | |
| This is day two, episode three. | |

| Or you can go to PTLnetwork.com as well, and you can look at everything on video on demand. | |
| You're not going to want to miss this. | |
| We're talking about deliverance. | |
| Honestly, a fringe topic in a lot of churches. | |
| You know, we would think because we've seen so many books come across. | |
| We've seen so many speakers come and talk about it that it was the normal across churches. | |
| As we travel, see other churches, we realize a lot of churches are not addressing these things. | |
| So, Pastor Juan, I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us today. | |
| Pastor Sergio and evangelist John. | |
| I'm going to start down here. | |
| Why is it such a fringe topic whenever Ephesians clearly says that our battle isn't against flesh and blood, but against principalities, powers, cosmic rulers, and dark places? | |
| So why are churches ignoring the demonic? | |
| You know, there's an episode, Jesus walking into a synagogue. | |
| They're having church. | |
| Nothing is happening. | |
| He walks in. | |
| What happened? | |
| The first person manifests. | |
| The person manifests with a demon. | |
| I believe in my heart that the church today, they want to take the easy road. | |
| Wow. | |
| They don't want to go to the Shamau. | |
| They don't want to deal with the demonic. | |
| But they feel, hey, we don't bother the devil. | |
| The devil won't bother us. | |
| And they set up the stage. | |
| They set up the atmosphere in their church to be a place of safe zone, church, in order of a battlefield. | |
| So it becomes a love boat. | |
| Can I add to that? | |
| Please. | |
| Because I feel like we've traded what success is in the kingdom for the world. | |
| And I feel like in a lot of churches right now, you know, if it almost has a world value system, even though we're saying Jesus and all of that, I feel like we, faithfulness, success in the gospel and all that is faithfulness and obedience. | |
| And we have traded it now. | |
| So as long as it looks really good and there's a lot of people, those are the things we attribute as success. | |
| We've minimized the gospel. | |
| We have a form of godliness and we're denying the power thereof. | |
| So therefore now we're not seeing the church move in the power that it should have. | |
| You know, so I believe that's one of the big issues today is the way we've traded those things of what before we called fruitful and obedience and faithfulness and gospel. | |
| Now it's not that anymore. | |
| Now it's all these other things that make a church good. | |
| So we've traded conviction for convenience. | |
| Yes. | |
| Yeah. | |
| You took the words right out of my mouth. | |
| Those were the words that was resonating while Pastor was speaking. | |
| We've traded sacrifice for convenience and comfort and passivity. | |
| And when a church is passive and you begin to conform to the patterns of this age, you resort to carnality and the external. | |
| So what makes me feel good, what tickles my ears, but we need to get back to a place where we begin to operate through the lens of the spirit because as we've been mentioning throughout this entire time, the war is not against flesh and blood, but it is truly spiritual. | |
| And we need to get back to that place where we're looking at things through the lens of the spirit, through the Holy Spirit, through the lens of scripture. | |
| And I want to say that's paving the way. | |
| And you and I have talked about this. | |
| That is paving the way to artificial intelligence moving in a way that it's going to accelerate everything because we are giving up convenience for technology, meaning that we are giving away one of God's greatest gifts, which is free will to mankind. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| When you give up the free will to worship for convenience, you're in trouble. | |
| But there's another dangerous aspect of what we let in the church. | |
| And evangelists, I'm going to talk to you about this, and any of you can jump in at any moment. | |
| Is what's the difference between something that is simply cultural? | |
| Now, get this question. | |
| Get this question, because the church has become more driven about culture than spiritual things. | |
| But how dangerous is it when you mix the cultural aspect and the spiritual aspect of things? | |
| But you know, one thing the devil, 25-year devil worship, the devil said, don't get them with the mass. | |
| Dress it up and make it look cultural, inviting. | |
| Temptation. | |
| Yeah, devil, tell me. | |
| Make it cultural. | |
| Your grandmother used to do it. | |
| Your father used to do it. | |
| Your aunt used to do it. | |
| Why aren't you doing it? | |
| So you keep the generation of curse going in the family bloodline. | |
| In the name of tradition. | |
| In the name of tradition. | |
| Or even fashion. | |
| In the name of fashion. | |
| Do it this way. | |
| Dress this way. | |
| Ponte esto. | |
| Wear this. | |
| Because this is the way we used to do it. | |
| So now it's your turn to do it. | |
| Because the devil understands culture. | |
| Devil understands fashion. | |
| The devil works not only with that, he works with influence and temptation. | |
| Those are the methods of the enemy in order to entrap humanity. | |
| And deliverance in the church has been replaced with medication. | |
| Wow. | |
| Wow. | |
| People don't want to hear that. | |
| So you talked about the methods. | |
| So how can we discern the presence of demonic influence in our homes, in our families, in our churches even? | |
| How can we recognize that? | |
| It all goes back to knowing, you know, not knowing the word, not knowing, I think I said yesterday. | |
| It's not just know the word of God. | |
| Know the God of the Word. | |
| Know the God of the Word. | |
| Get that relationship with the Holy Spirit. | |
| We don't even talk about the Holy Spirit in the church. | |
| We need to get that relationship with the Holy Spirit. | |
| In the church, in the house of God. | |
| And once you have that, you create a godly environment in your home. | |
| And plus, the Holy Spirit is your alarm system in your home. | |
| It will bring, when the alarm system goes off, it brings conviction in your home. | |
| So you know what's real and what is not. | |
| Amen. | |
| So you know what's real and what's not. | |
| Mondo. | |
| I know Mondo's got an alarm system on his home. | |
| Come on. | |
| Yeah, I know. | |
| I got an alarm system. | |
| I mean, we have to. | |
| I know anyone, you have home insurance, car insurance, you have life insurance. | |
| Yes. | |
| But for some reason, when it comes down to the spiritual things, we don't like to make sure that we are sure of who we are in Christ and that we have a personal relationship with the Holy Spirit. | |
| How can people claim to be able to move in the world we live in, which is outright clearly demonic, outright clearly contradictory to the word of God? | |
| How can they claim to be moving right now? | |
| Pastor Church, I'll ask you this. | |
| Without a relationship with the Holy Spirit, how do we think we can even navigate that? | |
| The Lord Jesus said, I'm not going to leave you as orphans. | |
| I will never leave you. | |
| I will never forsake you. | |
| He said, I'm sending the paraclete. | |
| I'm sending the advocate. | |
| I'm sending the helper. | |
| I'm sending the one that is described as the person who's able to aid, to strengthen you, to empower you, to guide you. | |
| The Holy Spirit is the Lord Jesus Christ dwelling within man. | |
| This is so powerful because the scripture lets us know in the New Testament, Apostle Paul, I believe he wrote, he said, that now the Spirit of God does not dwell in temples made out of human hands, but now he is dwelling in the temples that he was made out of the divine hands of God on the sixth day when he breathed the ruach. | |
| We see that even in the beginning, the ruach of God, which is the breath in the wind of God, is what made man a living soul. | |
| So we come alive when the Holy Spirit fills us, empowers us, and when we walk through the grace of the Holy Spirit, we don't have any life without the Holy Spirit, which is the Ruach of God. | |
| And I want to say this for all of you, that's very attainable, right? | |
| We can attain that power, the Holy Spirit. | |
| How do we attain the power of the Holy Spirit? | |
| The same Holy Spirit that walked with Jesus on this earth is the same because he said greater things you will do. | |
| How do we attain the power of the Holy Spirit, Pastor Juan? | |
| Listen, let me tell you something. | |
| I don't know how to not live without the power of the Holy Spirit. | |
| I think, you know, when you think about discipleship, when you think about being guided or taught or corrected, all of those things happen by way of the Holy Spirit. | |
| So for me, I don't know. | |
| When I hear people struggling like that, I feel like when I got saved, I instantly, like, nobody had to tell me to evangelize. | |
| I was empowered by the Spirit. | |
| Matter of fact, that the Bible talks about that those that are led by the Spirit are actually children of God. | |
| So now if you're not led by the Spirit or empowered by the Spirit, I would have to ask you, are you even saved? | |
| Are you a son? | |
| Are you a daughter? | |
| Without the Holy Spirit and the leading of the Holy Spirit, we're not even children of God. | |
| So this power that we talk about, this dunamis, this ruach, this wind that pushes us in the direction is the without denying. | |
| You know, I think we talked about it in the other show when you deny yourself. | |
| So I think we live in a planet, henceforth the book of that's crazy, no, that's God, that we live in a planet that we try to put God as a human in logic. | |
| And so we're never really empowered by the Holy Spirit because you would have to deny your way. | |
| You would have to die in order for you to even follow. | |
| Many, if you're not denying, you can't die. | |
| You have to deny before you even die. | |
| So we still want to do what we want to do and say we're dying. | |
| Wow. | |
| Can I add to that? | |
| Please. | |
| It's so powerful. | |
| Because really what you're breaking down is in availability. | |
| So we often struggle in our relationship with the Lord Jesus is because we believe that we're the ones that have to be able. | |
| It's our ability. | |
| But what we must learn is that it is about availability, which means a daily surrenderance to have access to that exusia, to that dunamis, to that ruach. | |
| It's just surrenderance, which is availability. | |
| But if you don't live by, if you're not led by the Holy Spirit, you're led by two other spirits. | |
| Tell us about that. | |
| You're led by a religious spirit or divination spirit. | |
| You're led by either one. | |
| Today, the church at large, most of the prophets are prophesying under divination spirit. | |
| And most of the churches today, because they want everything Jesus wants to give them, but they don't want Jesus in the church. | |
| Wow. | |
| So it says they don't want Jesus in the church, and then they're going to get a religious spirit. | |
| A religious spirit is the thing that you're the one that has the last call, the last days, and whatever you feel was right in your own eyes, that's what you're going to do in the house of God. | |
| That's right. | |
| Peter says, Behold, I stand at the door and knock. | |
| And what's he knocking on? | |
| He's knocking on the door to his house. | |
| Yes. | |
| He's knocking on the door to his home, but he's outside the door knocking. | |
| Why are so many churches not opening the door for Christ? | |
| Oh, because they're in love with the things they do for him, but they're not in love with him anymore. | |
| Well, a lot of people I found in this world, and as we go and preach and as we minister, a lot of people are begging to sit at the tables that Jesus would have flipped. | |
| They're begging for the influence. | |
| They're begging to sit there and want that position of power, to be at the head of that table, to be invited to whatever that is. | |
| But it's the same table that Christ would have walked in after he knocked, opened it up, and said, oh, that's got to go. | |
| That's got to go. | |
| That's got to go. | |
| But they're begging for those seats. | |
| Why is that the case? | |
| Yeah, but you see Saul, right? | |
| You see Saul and David. | |
| Saul wanted the position. | |
| David wanted the presence of God. | |
| Depart not your presence from me. | |
| From me. | |
| Right? | |
| You know, something that I feel like we don't, when you say we like all these things, because in these things there's no suffering. | |
| And when I looked at the Apostle Paul, I see him suffering for resurrection. | |
| And without suffering, like we almost got to become the people that suffering is okay. | |
| You almost got to embrace the suffering because when you're being led by the Holy Spirit into something, or every promise has a wilderness. | |
| And when you're being led, there is a suffering that takes place because your way is being crucified. | |
| So you're actually suffering and actually walking with Jesus at the moment when you're being led by the Spirit. | |
| The Spirit always leads you, the flesh has to die. | |
| So I think when you look at all these things that we talk about, comfort and convenience, all these things bring no suffering. | |
| It's almost like we want just sweets. | |
| That's right. | |
| Sugar, soda. | |
| Sugar. | |
| It's as if people want the benefits of covenant without actually entering into covenant. | |
| So I want to date Jesus on Sunday between the hours 10:30 and 10 to 12. | |
| I want to date Jesus, but I don't want to be married. | |
| Which is real covenant. | |
| And in order to be in true covenant, that means I'm living selflessly. | |
| I will give up everything for the sake of gaining Christ. | |
| Jesus is part of my life, but he's not my whole life. | |
| And let me tell you something. | |
| People that are in heaven had to die. | |
| That's right. | |
| So hold that thought. | |
| In other words, if heaven's on earth, then the only way to obtain heaven on earth is for you to die. | |
| Wow. | |
| There's no heaven without death. | |
| That's right. | |
| So Jesus is part of my life, not my whole life. | |
| So I just got part-time Jesus. | |
| Wow. | |
| Or Jesus is just a break glass, a case of emergency. | |
| All day long. | |
| Wow. | |
| And to identify that is this: marriage is intentional. | |
| Dating is emotional. | |
| Understand that. | |
| How do you know if you're walking in the spirit? | |
| It's when the spirit is intentional in your life. | |
| And how do you know you're walking in the flesh? | |
| It's when you're emotional about everything. | |
| All day long. | |
| This is, I mean, you're tapping now into us. | |
| To me, the mystery of the gospel. | |
| Now we're going into this mystery of the gospel, right? | |
| When this is why you shouldn't even start a ministry. | |
| It says if you're home, it talks about your home a lot. | |
| You know, I'm very big on the home. | |
| I believe that is where I actually walk out my Christianity is with my wife, my baby Ruth. | |
| You know what I mean? | |
| And so when you think about two people becoming one, which is you and Jesus, that's what's happening in a marriage where two people are saved and they both love the Lord, right? | |
| I understand the issues. | |
| I understand the problems. | |
| But at the end of the day, we're crucifying our flesh. | |
| We're denying our ways. | |
| We're crucifying our flesh to actually become one, one in what purpose, one in destiny. | |
| We start moving in the same direction in agreement. | |
| So like, and it never ends. | |
| You know, I was telling somebody the other day, I go, man, me and my wife, we decided we were going to pray for a year, you know, together, just every single day, every single day. | |
| We're doing devotionals every single day. | |
| We're reading together. | |
| We're in agreement with what the word has to say. | |
| When you see two people enjoying life, you see Jesus. | |
| That preaches the gospel because there's no way we all know what it's like in relationships, right? | |
| Jesus always does this. | |
|
Lost First Love
00:03:02
|
|
| It never does this. | |
| It always brings together. | |
| This is where we're trying to strive for unity on our own, but we're not going to the one that would unite. | |
| Wow. | |
| Trying to strive for you. | |
| You can't be unified if you're standing alone. | |
| If you're standing, oh, absolutely. | |
| Or you're going to be unified with the wrong party. | |
| We've seen that so many times. | |
| But the church today, living in the church today, living in Revelation 2. | |
| Jesus said, you're doing everything right, but you lost your first love. | |
| You've lost your first love. | |
| You lost your first love. | |
| Everything you're doing, I'm in agreement, but you're leaving me outside the door. | |
| He's knocking. | |
| You're knocking. | |
| You don't hear the knock? | |
| You don't hear me calling out to you? | |
| You don't, because you don't want intimacy. | |
| You want convenience. | |
| Wow. | |
| And they did everything was right. | |
| And Jesus said, I just got one thing against you. | |
| Lost. | |
| And you lost your first love. | |
| And in the church at large, we have lost the first love. | |
| What is it to be in love, intimate with God? | |
| Because it costs you something. | |
| And that's what made the conference yesterday beautiful, right? | |
| It was the altar call was pretty much, hey, are you lukewarm? | |
| You saw the uncomfortable, right? | |
| People started getting like, I don't know if I'm not sure if I'm going to know if I'm lukewarm. | |
| I don't know if I'm not. | |
| And eventually, people just made the decision and then it flooded the altars, right? | |
| And so everybody's returning to this thing because we know. | |
| The truth is we know. | |
| We know whether we're lukewarm. | |
| We know if we're too comfortable, right? | |
| Like every time there's a difficult season, you actually see the temperature of our faith, right? | |
| When things go wrong, man, you see how everybody, like, I think COVID, everybody ran for toilet paper. | |
| And I'm thinking like, you don't need 80s, right? | |
| But we laugh about it. | |
| But it really showed where people's faith were. | |
| It showed that, hey, I'm not going to share with you. | |
| It showed all that. | |
| And these are just a bunch of people that go to church on Sundays, right? | |
| So I think in the times of testing, in the times of trials, we actually see the faith. | |
| You see the temperature of faith in the country. | |
| But the truth, the truth, the truth is that, yes, this is an amazing spiritual warfare conference. | |
| It not only said captives free, but it brought people closer to Jesus. | |
| That's right. | |
| Amen. | |
| And this is what we want to do, right? | |
| We want you to have that intimacy, that closeness, that relationship. | |
| So when it rains, Jesus has your umbrella. | |
| Wow. | |
| And when you're sick, he has your medicine. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Amen. | |
| And when things, trouble show up, he's your attorney. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And when the devil is trying to come against you, Jesus is your judge. | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| And that's what the conference is about, right? | |
| It's not about, ah, you know, casting out demons. | |
| You bought so much content, spiritual content with different ministers, different anointing. | |
| I love the Jim Baker show. | |
| We're not shy to tell you the truth because we love you. | |
| If a person loves you, they're always going to tell you the truth. | |
|
Honoring the Torchbearers
00:10:14
|
|
| You might not say hallelujah at that moment, but you're going to say outcha. | |
| And later you'll say thank you. | |
| And you know what? | |
| We want to honor you guys. | |
| We want to honor you guys because you are just carrying this torch. | |
| You guys bringing all this content. | |
| That's why it's important for this show to continue because you guys are constantly bringing the truth in a world that is so deceiving, deception all through the television, deception. | |
| But you guys are not doing that. | |
| You guys are standing on Jesus and going, hey, it doesn't matter what comes our way. | |
| It doesn't matter. | |
| I could be young. | |
| And I'm going to continue to do this. | |
| And so kudos to you guys and the show for what you do. | |
| And what I love about you, you don't bring a lighter. | |
| You bring a torch. | |
| You listen to the bobcat. | |
| This is so powerful because what evangelist John, Pastor Juan have been mentioning is that deliverance is not the end-all be-all, but it's pointing you towards something. | |
| And what is that something? | |
| Relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. | |
| Oneness with the Lord Jesus Christ. | |
| Because even the master, the Lord Jesus himself said, on that day, many will say, did I not cast out devils in your name? | |
| So it lets you know that you can do deliverance and still miss it. | |
| He said that many will come saying, did I not prophesy in your name? | |
| Meaning that you can manifest the Kadiz, the gifts of God, and still miss it. | |
| So what is the point? | |
| Relationship. | |
| Because he said, depart from me, your work of iniquity. | |
| I never knew you. | |
| But of course, we've been talking about this. | |
| It's not a head knowledge, but he's talking about an intimate. | |
| I use that word, an intimate, knowing, an experiential relationship. | |
| If I could just, and I'll leave this after this, because these powerful men of God are flowing in the spirit. | |
| The word in the scripture in the book of Genesis, where the Bible says that Adam knew Eve is the term Yada in the original Hebrew. | |
| And that term Yadah is the root word where we get our word for praise, which is Yehudah or Judah. | |
| So it means that anytime you have worship and praise and relationship, there will always be an experiential knowing that will cause a conception and a birthing. | |
| So by their, how do we know who is the real, who is the false? | |
| By their fruit, you shall know them. | |
| Just stand up. | |
| Here you are. | |
| Watch this. | |
| So I'm Nicaraguence, right? | |
| Latino. | |
| My wife is Dominican. | |
| When you look at our babies, you see the fruit. | |
| And there's no denying that we birthed them. | |
| Well, my wife did. | |
| I was there supporting her. | |
| I was there cheering her on. | |
| Good job. | |
| But you can tell because of the fruit. | |
| So how do we know the fruit of Christ? | |
| Because you see it in Galatians chapter 5. | |
| How do we know the fruit of iniquity and sin and rebellion? | |
| Because you see the fruit thereof. | |
| So when we have intimacy with the Lord Jesus Christ, there will always be a birthing of the fruit of the Spirit, the character of Christ. | |
| And you got to fight through it. | |
| Listen, you ever seen somebody giving birth? | |
| They fight through the pain. | |
| They fight through the process. | |
| They fight through even death. | |
| And if you're going to bear fruit, you got to battle through birthing joy. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Kindness, long-suffering, self-control. | |
| That's the one people leave out. | |
| Uh-oh. | |
| That's the one people want to leave out. | |
| They want to have them all with no self-control. | |
| This is why salvation is so important. | |
| I love what the brother's saying, man. | |
| Scriptures where Jesus is like, they came back and they're like, man, we casted out all those devils. | |
| And he's like, don't get excited about that. | |
| You know, but we don't talk about stuff like that, right? | |
| They're excited, man. | |
| We did all this stuff. | |
| And he's like, yeah, get excited that your name is written in the Lamb's book of life. | |
| So this salvation, this connection, this covenant is like the most important thing, the most supernatural thing you should get excited about is getting saved. | |
| That's right. | |
| I love what you said. | |
| You said deliverance is not the end-all be-all. | |
| It's not, okay, you delivered. | |
| You know, there's a demon cast out of you. | |
| Now you go on, live life however you want. | |
| Don't get no, it is a directional arrow that points us to relationship, points us to the cross, points us to picking up our cross, denying ourselves, and following Jesus on every single day. | |
| And a lot of people are walking bound. | |
| I mean, you know this, you've seen this. | |
| They're walking with chains. | |
| They're walking with their hands tied, their feet tied, and they're wondering why they can't get anywhere quickly. | |
| And then put makeup on it. | |
| They dress it up. | |
| They dress up the pain. | |
| They dress up. | |
| They put makeup on. | |
| What did Jesus do? | |
| I mean, Jesus cast out two demons out of a guy in Mark chapter 5. | |
| And this is the part that grasps me. | |
| I thought I had a lot of demons, but he beat me. | |
| He had 2,000 demons on him, right? | |
| And 2,000 demons cast out. | |
| And he said, Jesus, could I go with you? | |
| Could I go with you? | |
| And Jesus said, no, go tell what I've done for you. | |
| Man, tell your story. | |
| Don't tell the wrong story. | |
| Tell your story. | |
| Tell people what God has done for you. | |
| Stop telling the wrong story. | |
| What is this? | |
| No, man. | |
| Tell your story. | |
| The story of freedom. | |
| The study of freedom. | |
| There's a story of healing, restoration. | |
| The story that your mind is right, that your heart is right. | |
| Now that you have purpose and destiny in your life, because he did it for you. | |
| We overcome by the blood of the Lamb. | |
| Amen. | |
| The word of our testimony. | |
| And most pastors, preachers will stop there. | |
| We'll finish the sermon. | |
| We'll tell people to go home, see you next Sunday at 10:30. | |
| But we love our lives not even unto death. | |
| Amen. | |
| Not even unto the point of losing this physical body, which is what we've been talking about. | |
| What you guys have been talking about, that it doesn't matter if it costs me my life. | |
| I'm going to make sure that people know that Jesus is real. | |
| That Christ is the only way to heaven. | |
| Friends, if you haven't given your life to Jesus, there's never been a better day than today. | |
| Pastor, if you'll leave the in the salvation's prayer, if you'll leave them and just say, hey, you know what? | |
| Let's pray today, right now in this moment. | |
| It's not a tomorrow thing. | |
| Not a later this evening thing. | |
| Let's do it right now, Pastor. | |
| Bible says in Romans that we believe with our heart, but we confess with our mouths that Jesus Christ is Lord, that he was resurrected on the third day by the power of the Holy Spirit. | |
| And when you believe that sincerely, fervently, genuinely with all your heart, you place your full confidence not in anything or anyone else except the Lord Jesus Christ. | |
| The Bible says about you, you shall be saved. | |
| So, right there where you are, I want you to pray, Lord Jesus, deliver me, save me. | |
| Amen. | |
| I acknowledge that I am a sinner. | |
| I am turning from my ways and I'm turning to you. | |
| I yield, surrender fully, and I ask you to fill me with your Holy Spirit. | |
| Write my name in the Lamb's book of life. | |
| Transform me entirely, and I will live for you in the name of Jesus Christ. | |
| And we want to hear your testimony. | |
| We want to know what God has done. | |
| Amen. | |
| We want to celebrate with you in Jesus' name. | |
| In Jesus' name, friends, call our number. | |
| It's 1-888-9881-588. | |
| If you just prayed that prayer, I want to say, Welcome home. | |
| We want to help you find a good Bible-believing church in your area. | |
| We want to be a part of your faith journey, stand in the gap for you and your family. | |
| Friends, we want to be a part of your Christian walk. | |
| Call that number. | |
| You can go to the website that's on the screen as well, jimbakershow.com or to ptl.tv. | |
| Like I said, we want to stand there. | |
| We want to intercede for you. | |
| We have a wonderful group of intercessors that meet here every single week. | |
| And friends, we pray for you. | |
| If you'll send in those letters, we're praying for you. | |
| If you'll send those emails, we're praying for you. | |
| We want to be there for you. | |
| It's not a ministry where we say, well, send us money. | |
| We want to preach the gospel. | |
| We're not going to remember who you are. | |
| No, friends, when you support this ministry, you are a part of this ministry. | |
| When you sow into this ministry, you've given us a seed to go out and tell people that Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. | |
| You're a part of this ministry. | |
| What does that mean? | |
| You are a family. | |
| So we're going to pray for you like you're a family. | |
| The same capacity I pray for my sister, mother, brother, aunt, cousin. | |
| Well, friends, you're my brother and sister in Christ. | |
| And that's why we want to do it. | |
| I want to say thank you to all those who support the ministry. | |
| Like you said, it is them that allows us to give us the spiritual tools to go out and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| I want to say thank you because that means more to us than you'll ever know. | |
| You give the platform, we're long partnered in with the Holy Spirit listening to be able to go out and tell people about Jesus. | |
| You know, you want to be wise. | |
| The Bible says, He that is wise winners souls. | |
| And if you've been standing with us, help us win souls. | |
| Help us bring men and women of God that will teach us how to go into the battlefield. | |
| That's right. | |
| Listen, release the anointing right now by writing a check. | |
| Amen. | |
| I know it's not about that, but it's about the obedience of where you're being fed. | |
| Amen. | |
| Stand with us. | |
| We need your support this month. | |
| Listen, one of these days we're going to talk about it, but do it right now. | |
| Be obedient to the Lord. | |
| If the Lord is asking you to sow a seed that you never sown before, do it today in obedience to Him. | |
| Call the number right now: 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Or better yet, if you want to write us today, you can write us at P.O. Box 7330, Branson, Missouri, 65615. | |
| Or you can go to the website, jimbakershow.com. | |
| Do it today. | |
| Amen, friends. | |
| If you've given your life to Jesus, you have made the most critical decision you will ever make in your entire life. | |
| And I want to say thank you to everyone who continues to watch the show. | |
| Watch the PTEL network, download the apps, and help us spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, the only true way to heaven. | |
| Friends, don't let the world ever tell you otherwise. | |
| There's not multiple ways to heaven. | |
| There's not this route and that route. | |
| There's not this path and that path. | |
| There's one way to heaven. | |
| Jesus said it very clearly: I am the way. | |
| I am the truth, and I am the life. | |
| Nobody comes to the Father except through me. | |
| And friends, I want to go to the Father one day and I want to spend eternity with him. | |
| And I know you do too. | |
| Today's your day. | |
| Never forget that. | |
| Never forget this, that God loves you. | |
| He really does. | |
| Bye-bye for today. | |
| Thank you guys so much. | |
| Thank you, Pastor. | |
| Thank you, Pastor. | |
