Hello, everybody.
Welcome to our show.
We have a great guest.
Tell us all about yourself.
Where are you from?
Well, right now, I've just relocated to Panama City Beach, Florida.
Oh, it's a nice place to be.
Yes, it's one of those places you love, and God is just moving mightily.
And you're in your father's home or area?
Yes, it's amazing.
Jim, I had this tornado that hit our house a year and a half ago in Texas.
Wait a minute.
You had a tornado.
F3 hit our house.
I want you to tell people God helps you even get through a tornado.
He does.
I was in, I heard the screaming sound, and I ran across the house, and I got my wife and my kids.
We got under the stairs, and it hit our house.
And we were saying, Jesus, Jesus, in the middle of crying out to Jesus, you know, and I was just in fear, just scared.
Think beams, 12, 50 foot-long beams are coming down through the house, crashing through the house.
And it feels like we're going to get sucked up.
I could feel the warmth on my legs.
I could taste the water in the air.
It was just terrible.
And I heard the Lord say, He said, command the wind.
And so we said, leave this land.
And the next time I said it, my wife joined in with me.
Leave this land.
The third time we said, leave this land.
And it excelled and it left our land.
11 of us were on our property in two homes.
Everything's destroyed, not one tree standing, and none of us had a scratch.
Seven of my neighbors were killed.
230 homes destroyed, but the Lord preserved us.
How many children do you have?
I have six children.
Yes.
Tell me their ages.
Well, the youngest is three.
It will be three on my birthday.
And the next one is five.
She just turned five.
Her name is Cela, and that's Judas, the three-year-old.
And they go all the way to 32.
My oldest son is 32.
Blessed me with three grandchildren.
Twin daughters that are 27, all of them are in ministry.
My other son I adopted from Taiwan.
He'll be 19 in October, and he's a drummer in the church.
Wow.
Do you believe Jesus is coming soon?
I believe it with every fiber of my being.
I'm just, I don't want to get into normal conversations.
I just want to hear from you what God has spoken to you is coming on the face of this earth.
People want to know.
I believe the greatest glory that we've ever seen, the greater glory, the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the glory of the former house.
And I believe that is what's hitting planet Earth right now.
You can say that, and you went through a hurricane?
Yes, sir.
I can tell you, I was so traumatized through that storm, I felt like a zombie for 15, 17 weeks.
I was just walking.
Fox News came and interviewed me, and I told them about Jesus preserving us.
We had Max, Newsmax interviewed me, all these different stations.
And my friends would tell me, they'd call me afterwards and they'd say, Joshua, we know you were testifying, you were preaching, but we could see you weren't all there.
And that's what the trauma did.
But you know what the Lord said to me, Brother Jim?
He said, you'll overcome this trauma through being thankful.
Thanksgiving will help you to overcome the trauma.
So I began to give God thanks and I began to overcome it.
Now, I couldn't pray at first, so I would go on my porch.
I wrote this book, Five Porches, and so I said, I better get to the porch myself.
And I got on the porch, and every day I would look out at that ocean in Panama City because the Lord said, return to the land of your father.
So we moved back to the house.
I want to ask you something.
Yes, sir.
Does God's promises work in the time of trouble?
Yes, they do.
They most definitely do.
When you're in a traumatic situation, and I just want to say that, anybody that's watching right now, that's when God moves.
God says he supplies all of our needs according to his riches.
According to his riches, you know it.
Yes.
And God's restoring you, right?
He is.
Literally, this week, three days ago, I've spent three nights in my house before coming here.
The Lord said, return to the land of your father in a dream.
I go to that land, and my dad's old house was for sale right on the water.
So I tried to buy it.
On the ocean?
Right on the lagoon that leads out to the ocean.
And so I'm wanting it, has a dock, and I'm placing offers, and they're not taking my offers.
So I thought it was over.
Somebody else bought it, but then the Lord said it's not over.
So we went out and we prayed in front of it, and the guy called him.
He was a believer.
He lived in Georgia.
And he said, I'm inclined to believe this is the Lord.
You're supposed to have this house.
This is not my house.
I just got it just to fix it up.
So he got it, fixed it up for me, sold it to me for what I wanted to buy from the other guy for.
And the other guy wanted several hundred thousand more.
I moved in that house three days ago.
Because God is a God of restoration.
That's my dad's house.
That was my dad's house.
I cleared that land with my hands.
I built that house with my dad and my grandfather.
So Sunday morning, if you can picture this, Brother Jim, I'm on my face crying in my living room, planting a new church called Awake Church in my living room with my mom, my dad that have been preaching 58 years, my in-loves, my children, my grandchild, my kids, and all of us have been saved from the storm.
God's restored us, and I'm back in the house that my father built.
Wow.
Come on.
Wow.
Praise God.
Amen.
He's a faithful God.
I just want everyone to understand God's economy.
Yes.
He said he'll restore you.
He will supply all your needs.
Are you listening to me?
According to his riches and glory.
Amen.
Yes.
Come on, Ricky, help me.
Well, it's the truth.
What is his riches and glory?
Well, it's according to his riches and his glory.
Praise God, if not according to ours and our glory, because we wouldn't have very much to offer.
But he will think about it.
He is everything.
Everything.
He owns the cattle on a thousand hills.
Everything that can be at a man's disposal is at God's disposal.
Why?
Because he is the owner of all.
I'm sure you don't want me to talk about this, but I've had lots of visions and dreams of heaven in the last few years.
People need to hear about it.
Heaven's real.
We just don't want you going there yet.
That's why we don't want you talking about it.
I don't want you liking it so much you want to go.
Come on, we've got to keep you here.
You know what I mean, Monday?
He starts saying, I just want to stay there.
Heaven are awesome.
I've told you before, but they had an all-night sing when I was there, but it lasted three days.
Come on.
Amen.
All-night saints go in three days.
Nobody sleeps.
Amen.
Wow.
I know I shock people when I say this.
Even Elvis Presley was singing in the thing.
And you know what God showed me?
He says, Elvis got, oh, I can't say it.
Say it.
You've already started the story.
No, but Elvis really rededicated his life to God.
I mean, I believe he knew of the Lord all of his life because he always loved gospel music.
He was trained up as a child, and when he was old, he didn't depart from it.
But heaven is real, people.
That's right.
You don't want to miss heaven.
You don't want to.
I'm trying to warn people to get ready for the coming of the Lord.
Yes.
Because I don't know what you preach in your church.
Do you have a church now?
We're starting one.
It just started Sunday in my living room.
Awake church.
This is our 16th church.
Is it a full gospel church?
Yes, sir.
Spirit-filled.
I'm sorry.
I just, there's so much false gospel being preached today.
And people are being, the big thing, it's a new preaching is that everybody's saved.
Yeah, everyone goes to heaven.
There's no such thing as hell.
No hell.
Just everybody goes to heaven.
That is a devil.
Well, we would need no sacrifice if there was no hell.
There would not have needed to be held.
But why did Jesus die on the cross?
Well, that's exactly right.
Jesus died so that we could be atoned, so we could be redeemed, restored, purified, and make the mark for heaven.
I want to write a new book if I live long enough.
You got another 20 years, so yes, sir.
Okay.
I want to write a book.
My next book, the next book, which is coming out in a few weeks, months, is forgiveness.
That's right.
And that's total forgiveness.
Yep.
The church really needs that.
They need to forgive everybody and love everybody.
That's the only way you're going to make it, people.
That's right.
If you're mad at everybody, the Bible says if you don't forgive, you won't be forgiven.
Did you know that?
That's right.
You have to forgive everybody.
And I learned that 50 years ago, probably.
But when God said, you forgive them, I love them.
And I says, well, I'll forgive everybody.
Amen.
You know, one of the things that I love about your story, Pastor, is that the Bible says that men's heart will fail them out of fear.
That's right.
You didn't, in your whole story, you didn't say, God, why me?
Where are you?
Because when we read Matthew 24, we see all these catastrophes and all this, but then I go back to Joe and prophesies the amazing prophecies and dreams and visions.
But you are a perfect example of what happens when you go through a catastrophe.
How do we get through when a catastrophe comes?
Because we saw COVID.
It changed our whole world.
Yes, it did.
But yet the Bible is prophesying that great pestilence are coming that are going to shake the world forever.
But yet your faith is what encourages me that in the midst of a catastrophe, God shows up.
Even in the middle of it.
How did that happen?
How do we put that into action?
You know, when it happened, when that storm hit us, I was not, I can't explain.
I wasn't mad at God.
I was more upset at myself because I felt like I should have heard more clearly to keep my family from harm.
And so I was questioning, why didn't I hear?
Why, that's where I went.
I didn't get upset at God, but God, I should have not have put my family in that place because we had actually been praying about moving back to Florida to be close to my parents before that happened.
And I thought maybe I was just out of timing.
But now I know God used the storm to set me up for the restoration and the blessing that he promised.
But I think the key was to learn to give thanks.
And what I started to say a while ago, I was on my porch and I was a mess.
I'll go ahead and tell you, you said a mess and a message.
I was in a mess.
And I couldn't pray and I couldn't hear God.
And that's bad when you're a prophet, when you're an apostle and you can't hear God and you don't want to preach.
I told my dad, who's preached 58 years, Brother Jim, I said, Dad, pray for me.
My want to doesn't want to.
I don't want to.
So I was in a place of just despair.
But the Lord said, go to the porch.
So I got on the porch and I would look at the ocean and I would pray.
But there was nothing to say.
So I started singing.
And I taught people, what do you do?
You sing the word.
That word that you have so beautifully colored.
If you could see this Bible, man, this Bible's beautiful.
That's my prison.
What an inheritance.
I prayed for you when you were in prison.
I cried with you when you were in prison.
I cried when I saw you go in and when you came out.
So that's special.
But to see that, I took it and turned to Psalms 23.
I wouldn't still be in prison if God hadn't released me.
Man, so thankful he did.
I took that Bible, sir, and I prayed from Psalms 23, and I began to sing, Jesus, you, you restore my soul.
You restore my soul, and you make me whole.
Only you can restore my soul and make me whole.
You restore my soul.
And somewhere in the middle of doing that, he did it.
In your trouble.
In the middle of trouble, in the middle of despair, just like Paul and Silas in jail.
Sing when you're in trouble.
Sang, and when I come off the porch, I came to my wife.
I said, baby, I'm back.
And she said, she was so happy, but she wanted to be back.
Well, that weekend, we went to a conference, one of only 15 times that I've been out.
Today's the 17th time that I'm speaking since the storm.
Today.
17 is the number of victory, by the way.
I said to my wife, you're going to get your breakthrough too.
That weekend, we went to South Carolina, and she got her joy back, and she found herself laughing, and God restored her joy.
It was like medicine to her.
So God will do it.
He'll do it when you're in the storm.
If you'll trust the Lord, he'll take you through.
I want to ask you something.
It's so important because we're in the last days.
Yes, sir.
Is God given you ideas or visions of how to get through these end times that are coming?
We are in perilous times.
Yes, sir.
I believe so.
I believe like never before.
What you've experienced, listen to me, people.
Have you ever faced any turmoil, any trouble?

I've asked God to give me a million souls before I die, a million more.
And I have already had millions.
I've led millions to Christ.
And the devil's tried to kill me.
And he's going to try to kill all the great preachers on earth in these next few years.
Charlie Kirk was killed because he preached the gospel.
That's right.
Yes.
He reached.
Ricky, come on.
How many kids did he reach?
Millions, millions of kids.
And also, after the Bible says, people, do you understand?
Charlie Kirk was winning millions of souls to Jesus.
That's right.
In the colleges and the universities.
And yet a man hated him, hated him with a passion.
Yeah, but praise God for that because why?
The Bible says unless a seed falls to the ground and dies, how can it then produce more?
Out of that, what they thought would be a devastating act to the right-wing conservatives would be devastating to Christianity.
We've seen more atheists give their lives to Jesus.
What they're calling the Charlie Kirk effect, where atheists are saying, oh, I'm realizing if they hated a man that much for something, he must have been preaching the truth.
They're giving their life to Jesus.
People who once were very liberal, very on the left, hated everything godly, hated everything biblical.
They're now giving their lives to Jesus.
They're also turning and shifting more to conservative views.
Why?
because they realize if our side is willing to kill a man, there must be truth about what he's saying.
I've been reading to the people Matthew 24, which is a...
You've been reading it to the people for about 20 years.
Well, I'm going to keep reading it because I don't think anybody gets it.
So they have to hear it.
Matthew 24 is a short version of Revelations.
Can I put it that way?
It is.
Do you think so, Mondo?
Yeah, the index.
It would be like a synopsis.
Yeah, yeah.
Synopsis of Revelation.
But they're going to kill you.
They're going to afflict you.
They'll kill you and be hated of all nations for my name's sake in the end times.
We are in the end times, brother.
Yes.
Yes.
Jesus is warning us.
And preachers, I've been preaching it for the last couple of days that some of my favorite preachers, they believe that everybody's going to heaven.
They're starting to preach that.
Yeah.
They're preaching it.
Isn't it right, Ricky?
You know everything that's going on in the world.
Yeah, that's a false gospel.
We obviously know from the Bible, from the Word of God, the infallible Word of God, that there is a heaven, there is a hell.
Now, hell was never intended for us, but our separation through sin is what puts us there.
It is a free gift from God where we say, yes, God, I want you to reign over my life.
Be my Lord, be my Savior.
Then we can be purified, not by our own actions, not by how good we are and how great we are, but by the atonement of the blood of Jesus covering us so that we can make the mark for heaven, which is perfection.
We can obtain that through Jesus Christ.
Amen.
And that's why Jesus died on the cross to give us eternal life.
That's right.
Live for him every day.
Your new book, is it a new book, I guess?
The five forces.
Yeah, Rediscovering the Five Fold.
Yes.
And that's what when you were saying just now, what do we need to do to see with this perilous times and with everything that's happening right now in the earth, how can we as the church address this?
And I believe if you go to John 5, I believe there's an answer in the word.
Jesus set this up.
Now, most of us have preached this and taught this and we've heard this.
But a few years ago, after going through a detox from what I call churchianity, religiosity, the Lord's been cleansing me from, because I'm a fifth generation Pentecostal preacher, and I'm very thankful for it.
I'm thankful for my heritage.
My great-grandfather preached 70 years.
It started out with Dr. Summerall.
My dad, 58 years.
My other grandfather was a missionary.
So I'm thankful for my heritage.
So I stand upon the shoulders of those great men.
But much of what's happened in the church over the years, especially since the dark ages, we've lost the truth of Scripture.
We've lost the five porches.
And so the Holy Spirit in my house began to open up to me what he wanted to see his church become.
Most of the church right now, Brother Jim, is divided.
We have an evangelistic camp.
We have a prophetic camp.
We have a teaching camp.
We have a pastoral camp.
We have an apostolic camp.
But we're all divided, and we all have our distinctives in different places.
But Christ never intended that.
So if you look at John chapter 5, it says, after this, there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem.
Now there is in Jerusalem by the sheep gate a pool which is called in Hebrew Bethesda, having five porches.
So the Holy Spirit just took me after reading the Bible through several times in my life, preaching in 37 nations, doing what I do, doing what we do for the gospel, in this time of detox, in this time of spending time with the Lord in Texas.
I feel that's where God sent me to kill me.
He sent me there to die.
And thankfully, the devil didn't take me out, and now I'm alive.
But this revelation came alive, and I saw it.
He said, where was I standing?
He said, Joshua, look, where was I standing?
He said, I was standing in the midst of five porches.
He said, for my greater glory to come to the earth, for this end time harvest to be brought in.
I need my church to reestablish all five porches.
Tell us about them quickly.
The apostles' porch, the prophet's porch, the teacher's porch, the evangelist's porch, the pastor's porch.
Oh, God, I know we need them all.
We need all five porches, and all roads lead to Jesus in the center.
He is the center.
And no longer can we be.
Is it your book out now?
Yes, sir.
It sure is.
It's the five porches.
How did they get it, Ricky?
You know all to get up.
I want to get it.

The apostles' porch, the prophet's porch, the evangelist's porch, the teacher's porch, and the pastor's porch.
See, here's what happens.
Ephesians 4 tells us that he gave these five-fold ministry gifts, the ascension gifts, for the perfecting of the saints so that we could do the work of the ministry.
But most people look at the church and they look at the pastors, the people that they think they hire, and those are the people that are supposed to do the work of the ministry.
But that's not what's supposed to happen.
The five-fold ministries is to equip the believers to do the work of the ministry, to bring in the harvest.
He says, this is how we'll have the fullness of Christ.
This is how we'll come.
What do we do in the world?
Well, I only need one of the porches.
You know, our church only, we only do one of the porches.
That's why we have immature, ill-prepared saints that cannot handle the end times, and they cannot bring in the harvest.
They're in the end times now, and we must have the full porches or the full power of God, all the things of God.
Yes.
I want you to tell the people key points of the book again.
My time's almost gone.
What's the key points of the book?
Well, we don't want just five-fold ministers.
We want five-fold believers.
Yes.
We want a fully equipped, fully mature believer that can flow in the apostolic anointing, the prophetic anointing, the teaching, the pastoral, the evangelistic anointing, so that believers are fully furnished, equipped to go and bring in the harvest, to release the greater glory.
So how can we have five-fold believers?
We have to have five-fold centers.
We got to stop having a church that's just pastoral or just a teaching center or evangelistic center.
We need all five-fold ministries to begin to work together to thoroughly equip the saints to do the work of the ministry.
Oh, I advise every pastor and every person, every church lover to order this book now.
I think it's important for people in the pew to get this book so they can actually understand what's going on behind the scenes at their church as well.
A lot of times people will come to the church and they see the pastor and they see their evangelists and they see their prophet, but they're saying, well, what really are the inner workings of a church?
How does the church work?
I think this book can really lay it out clearly of the responsibilities of the leadership of their church.
You know, really how much weight they carry.
You're in a spiritual war.
And if you have a war, you're fighting.
It all troops together.
That's right.
You need every single aspect of it.
Everyone involved in that army.
And it's time the irony of the Lord come together because Jesus is coming.
And listen to what the word of the Bible says.
And there shall it shall be darkened and the moon shall not give its light.
That's right.
The stars shall fall from heaven and powers of the heaven shall be shaken.
And then shall appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven.
Jesus is coming.
Amen.
At the end of Matthew 24, I love Matthew 24.
All the terrible things are going to happen, but Jesus is coming.
That's what's happening now.
Don't go to hell.
Don't turn your back on God.
And you'll be back with us tomorrow.
