And I realize, Mondo, a lot of people are forfeiting their calling right now.
Why are they doing that?
Because they're discouraged and they don't think they can do it.
Yet we are living in a time that we have a space where we can preach the gospel like never before.
That's right.
And there's a space right now that people are wanting to hear the gospel.
People are wanting to understand Bible prophecy.
And what a moment in time to live right now to be able to share this type of message.
That's right.

I'm absolutely thrilled to be back on your show and very excited about this new film, which could not be more timely and yet in some ways timeless.
And so thanks for having me on.
I think we are at a moment of at least the possibility of a kind of national renewal, maybe even a worldwide renewal.
And I want this film to be a part of that.

Why the Dragon's Prophecy?
Did you say we need to make a film about this?
Well, I was first exposed to biblical archaeology in 2022.
My wife and I did our first trip to Israel.
I was astounded to see the way in which God is speaking back through the stones.
It's almost like as if when the world becomes more secular, more skeptical, God is like, all right, I'm going to address you in the language of science through tablets and artifacts and clay seals and inscriptions.
And I'm going to validate the Hebrew and the Christian scriptures in an astounding way.
So I was kind of exposed to all that.
Then along comes October 7th, and I was trying to think of a way to put these two big things together.
And I realized that they kind of go together because ultimately the underlying question here is whose land is it?
And I think that biblical archaeology can establish that the Jews were there going back not just to the time of Jesus, but going back to the time of David and Solomon.
That's a thousand years earlier than Jesus.
And the time of Abraham, that's 2,000 years before Jesus.
Now, I was thinking about all this, and then along comes Jonathan Khan with what I thought was a startling and original idea that the battle between Israel and Hamas is a very eerie replay.
Khan calls it a resurrection of ancient battles between the biblical Israelites and their arch enemies, the Philistines.
And I was like, whoa, I've never heard that before.
And yet, Khan draws this out in a very ingenious, very brilliant way.
And I realize that he also brings in the element of biblical prophecy.
So, with archaeology, I have the past.
October 7th is the present.
Then, we have biblical prophecy as the future.
And so, the film is a tapestry that brings all these things together.
You know, one of the most important things to go along with that, Ricky and Danish, is how unfamiliar people are with the biblical prophecy, and especially biblical history when it comes to October 7th.
Can you connect those two?
Because I believe that October 7th marks a historic moment, not only globally, but prophetically as well.
So, how do you connect those two?
Let's think of it this way.
First of all, I will say about October 7th that we're coming up on the second anniversary.
This film is timed to release right alongside the second anniversary.
It's in theaters October 6th and 8th.
It's going to go to streaming and DVD the next day, October 9th.
Now, the film begins, by the way, with riveting footage of October 7th.
It's like you're right there on the scene.
And most people in the world have not seen October 7th.
It's one thing to know about something, it's something else to experience it.
So, in this film, we put you right there.
And the reason I'm able to do that is because Hamas filmed it all.
So, you're actually seeing October 7th, not from the point of view of the Israelis, but from the point of view of Hamas.
It's like you're in a GoPro riding into Israel with the attackers themselves.
Now, I think the point you're getting at is that October 7th is not just another terrorist attack.
It's not even just an historical event.
It's a biblical event.
Now, how do we understand that?
Well, let's think about it this way.
In the Bible, there is the story of Samson.
And Samson is the great hero of Israel.
He represents the strength of Israel.
He is captured by the Philistines.
By the way, the term Philistine, the term Palestinian, it's the same word.
So, what do the Philistines do?
They capture Samson, they blind him.
They blind him in very much the same way that Israel was blinded on October 7th.
And the Bible says they took him to Gaza.
Amazingly, the Philistines occupied a region that was called Philistia, made up of five cities, and the primary one, Gaza.
The name is right there in the Bible.
And then it says that the people of Gaza demanded that Samson be stripped, his clothes be pulled off, and that he be brought out so that he could entertain the people.
This is exactly what happened after October 7th.
Hostages were stripped.
They were paraded.
People were there for entertainment, laughing and cheering and celebrating.
So look at the way in which you see a kind of parallel.
I mean, you could almost say Samson was the first hostage of Gaza.
And the events of the Bible, all of this, by the way, happening 3,000 years ago, it's almost like it's happening all over again.
So when we use this biblical lens, we get an insight into current events that's unavailable if we look at it purely from a secular perspective.
Wow.
Can I say this to everyone watching?
The word Hamas to you might be something new.
But when you go back to scripture, it appears in Genesis chapter 6, verse 11.
It also appears in Psalms 11:5.
It also appears in Habakkuk chapter 1.
It also comes out in Ezekiel chapter 7.
The word Hamas comes from the word violence.
And when you understand it, for example, let's go to Ezekiel chapter 7, verse 23.
The land is full of bloody crimes and the city is full of violence, full of Hamas.
That's powerful.
Let me give you Habakkuk chapter 1, verse 2 and 3.
The prophet cries out to God about injustice.
This is so powerful.
Why do you make me see iniquity?
Why do you look at wrong?
Destruction and Hamas are before me.
Destruction and violence are before me.
Listen, this is so prophetic.
There's no coincidence in the Bible.
Everything that is happening today, the Bible forewarned us about what we're seeing today.
We have to go back to scripture.
And I love the fact that this documentary, this film, allows us, Ricky, to go into more of the insight of what happened in October 7th, why it should be very important as Christians to pay attention to the destruction and the calamity and the crime that was committed.
And yet the world is exploding with Hamas, with violence.
That's right.
This is so prophetic.
That's right.

It's very hard to believe what happened, even though I was there and seen with my own eyes and seen them laughing and killing and having fun with it.
Because if you don't open the door, they are going to kill you and they are going to kill me.
So please open the door.
So who are the Jews?
Who are the Palestinians?
And whose land is it really?
Could the fate of the world, of humanity itself, be somehow tied to this place?
The nation of Israel is a resurrected nation.
So what if there was going to be a resurrection of another people, an enemy people of Israel?
The Bible speaks about this whole war as a dragon representing the enemy attacking a woman representing Israel.
The civilian deaths on both sides represent victories on the part of the dragon.
Mastered everything within their ability to maximize the civilian casualty.
We came back to a land that was largely barren and empty, and we brought it back to life and we're going to keep it.
The devil hates the Jewish people because they represent the existence of God.
Because without that Jewish foundation, there is no Christianity.
If we're approaching the end of time, God will reveal himself more and more dramatically.
Speak back through the stones.
The story that Dave's been telling is that Israel is a colonial project.
The problem with that is the city of David.
We are an inconvenient truth.
Are you aware of any significant archaeological finding that contradicts the Bible?
Nope.
God's word stands firm.
The dragon will not prevail.

Dinesh, why is it so important for us to understand the truth behind October 7th?
October 7th, to me, represents an escalation of human horror that is unprecedented in history.
This is a very large thing to say, so let me defend it.
The Nazis, when they did their atrocities, appalling though they were, the Nazis were in a larger Christian culture and they were frightened of what they were doing.
We know this because all the death camps were outside of Germany.
They didn't dare to do it in the open.
They didn't dare to show it to the German people.
They put the death camps in occupied Poland, in the other occupied territories.
Hamas, by contrast, was very proud of what they did.
We have a recorded phone call in the film in which a young man is calling his parents.
His parents are in Gaza, and he's essentially saying, Dad, get mom on the phone.
I just killed 10 Jews.
And the dad is like, what?
Allahu Akbar!
Allahu Akbar!
Calls the mother.
She's like, Allahu Akbar.
So these people are like extremely excited that their son has proven worthy of them and murdered 10 Jews himself with his own bare hands.
And he goes, He goes, Go on WhatsApp, mom.
You can actually see what I did.
You can actually see the bodies.
Now, to be honest, I have never heard of this kind of thing.
I've never heard of people who are parading their own satanic barbarities in this way.
So we know we're dealing with an event that requires the most serious kind of examination.
Now, people have been trying to fix the Middle East in my entire adult lifetime.
Jimmy Carter's peace plan, and then there was the Clinton peace plan, and on and on, and it never seems to be fixed.
I think the reason is that people don't understand what's going on.
They're using a narrow secular perspective instead of a biblical and kind of prophetic perspective.
And that's what I try to do in this film.
Right now, there's a critique that's coming of Israel and of the Jews.
It's coming from the left and from the right.
So from the left, it's the critique that Israel is a colonialist power.
Israel is practicing genocide.
We need to get rid of Israel from the river to the sea.
And from the right, we get all these kind of skeptical questions like, how do we know that the Jews of today are the descendants of the ancient Israelites?
This is a question, by the way, that Tucker Carlson posed to Ted Cruz.
And it's a question that I, in this film, posed directly to the prime minister of Israel, Nedan Yahoo, and he answers it.
So this is a film that is on the one hand dealing with biblical issues going back thousands of years and biblical prophecy pointing to the future, but it's also a film that is completely pegged into current events and the current debate almost as if I completed the film this morning.
You know, you were just talking about this, but you interviewed Israel's prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.
What was your biggest takeaway from that?
So in interviews I've seen with Netanyahu before, he's a little stiff and I don't blame him because he's under siege.
He's always under attack, particularly from the media in Europe, in Australia, in Canada.
This is not even counting the Muslim world.
And so he seems to be very rehearsed.
And what I wanted to do is get him to relax, even get him to be surprised, even sort of shake him out of his normal routine.
So I actually began by asking him, like, what's your take on Jesus?
Right?
Probably a question he doesn't get directly in that way.
Here you've got the Jewish leader of a Jewish state.
But he gives a very interesting answer.
He goes, in fact, to talk about the family of Jesus and how they were essentially all deeply immersed in Jewish culture.
He goes, Jesus was actually Yeshua.
His dad is Yosef.
You know, these are Hebrew names.
Jesus was ritually cleansed in the pool of Siloam.
He walked up the pilgrimage road to the temple.
When his parents lost him, they found him in the temple.
So I'd love to hear Netanyahu going into this.
And then, of course, he responds very directly to Taka Carlson.
He talks about how, yes, you know, his family is descended from Abraham.
These are the same Jews.
They eat the same food.
They speak the same Hebrew language.
They worship the same God.
So the idea that, you know, that somehow the Jews are imposters and some fake Jews came sneaking back into Israel.
I mean, this is not only biblical.
I mean, this is not just idiocy.
It is also, I think, very dangerous because it's an effort ultimately to repudiate the promise of God to his own people.
There's a lot of confusion in the land.
And that's what we're seeing right now, especially with young believers right now.
I mean, I was just amongst, you know, thousands of young believers.
And one of the things that I was hearing quite a bit was replacement theology, where they say, you know, Israel isn't the Israel of the Bible anymore.
The Jewish people aren't the people that the New Testament's referring to.
It's us now modern day believers.
But, Mona, we've been grafted in.
That is the thing.
And obviously, the Bible says it very clear.
If a branch does not remain in the vine, that branch is going to wither down.
Jesus says it himself.
It will be no better than firewood.
It is important that we remain attached to the vine.
So, friends, I want you to really think about what it is that you are digesting.
Those YouTube pastors, the people you're hearing on TikTok, the social media influencers who are coming out right now and they're bashing and they're saying, you know what, Israel is no more.
It doesn't matter what the nation of Israel is doing.
We don't need to support them in any capacity.
Friends, go back to the Bible.
Read Genesis 1 all the way to Revelation chapter 22 and realize that we do serve the God who is the same yesterday, the same today, and he will be the same forever.
If he made a promise, he will keep that promise.
And friends, it's important for you to remember that.
Denish, if somebody was going to go and see this in theaters or stream this for their home group, stream this for their church, what would be the message that you would most want them to take away from the dragon's prophecy film?
Well, let me say a word about the replacement theology that you mentioned, because I think that there is a deep confusion here.
Yes, we are in a new covenant.
Yes, Christ changed everything.
Yes, salvation is through Christ alone.
So I certainly believe all these things, but in no way does it follow that the New Testament cancels out the old.
You know, in Islam, there is a doctrine of abrogation in which the later passages of the Quran, which are in Mecca, repudiate the earlier passages of the Quran.
But we don't have any such thing in Christianity.
In Christianity, it's incorporation.
The Old Testament is incorporated into the new.
The two go together.
They're inseparable.
And God's promises to Abraham and his descendants are in no way abrogated.
In fact, think about it.
What would it mean to abrogate that kind of a promise?
It's kind of like God saying to Abraham, I give you some land.
I give you it to you and your descendants, but I'm giving it to you conditionally.
If your descendants misbehave, I'm taking it back and it's no longer your land.
This is absurd.
By and large, land is always given in perpetuity.
If you and I go out today and buy a piece of land, we're buying it forever.
We can give it to our descendants.
If someone were to say to you, listen, I'm going to give you the land, but it's only for six months or it's only for six years.
And if you misbehave, I get to take it back.
Well, then they haven't given it to you at all.
You are at best a sort of a renter or you're leasing the land.
You are not, in fact, its owner.
So I think all of this is important for people to keep in mind.
Let me just say that I think that this film is a witness to what it means to make the moral case for us as Christians to support Israel in the 21st century.
I think we're living in a very significant time.
There's a kind of a spirit of renewal, of restoration in the land.
This film is a part of that.
I think also that October 7th is a sort of signpost for biblical prophecy.
I don't always claim to sort of be able to figure out biblical prophecy.
I think the book of Revelation has a lot of passages that are a little veiled.
I sometimes have trouble figuring it out.
Maybe it's intentional.
Maybe it was written that way.
So we don't know, as the Bible says, the place and the time.
But nevertheless, what I do know is that the return of the Jews to their ancestral homeland, that is something that is predicted in the Bible.
It was extremely unlikely for it to happen.
It has happened.
And so there's hardly a doubt that we are in that sense living in the unfolding of biblical prophecy.
Amen.
