30-Minute Programming Shift
00:02:26
|
|
| Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show. | |
| Today, we discuss revelation events that matter to you. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega. | |
| And now, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, friends. | |
| Thank you for tuning in to the PTL Television Network. | |
| There are many ways you can watch this show. | |
| And Mondo, there's a few different ways that I know you know of. | |
| We have Facebook, Instagram. | |
| We have our PTL television app as well, which we have been working diligently on with our third-party development team to update. | |
| And also, we have Roku as well, Amazon Firestick, Apple TV, a couple different things. | |
| It's still growing. | |
| And it's still growing. | |
| The goal is to expand the digital footprint to be able to preach the gospel to as many people as we can. | |
| Now, a lot of people have had a lot of questions on why we've moved to 30-minute programming instead of our programming. | |
| Can you give us some details? | |
| Do you want to spill the beans? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Let's do it. | |
| I think it's important. | |
| Hour-long program, we found is very expensive. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And so we found that we can distribute the show in many more places with 30-minute programs. | |
| And that's what it boils down to. | |
| That's it. | |
| Yep. | |
| It's just the easiest. | |
| I don't know. | |
| People always expect more. | |
| We want to be able to get the footprint out there. | |
| And we found the 30-minute programming works better for us. | |
| And the attention span of people is getting shorter and shorter. | |
| Yeah, that's right. | |
| So teaching and interviewing with people, you know, your attention span, it's your fault. | |
| Yeah, it's actually my generation. | |
| No, it's this guy's fault. | |
| His generation doesn't stay long enough to read a whole book. | |
| That's the truth. | |
| Let alone watch a whole program. | |
| But, you know, it's changing everything. | |
| But Pastor Jim, your friend, said many years ago that the future of broadcasting was going to move into sound bites. | |
| And that's where we are today. | |
| Now, sound by generation is changing the logistics or logistics of everything that we're doing. | |
| But we want to be more fruitful with your giving and being able to expand this program to more audience. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| Thank you for your support. | |
| Thank you for being patient with us. | |
| Thank you for standing with us because it's allowing us to mobilize this message a lot more to different parts of the world. | |
|
Israel's Decision Looms
00:04:28
|
|
| So thank you for that. | |
| Amen. | |
| I want to jump right into it because there's some things happening right now. | |
| There's wars in the Middle East and Ukraine. | |
| There's a CBN news article also where Trump tells Benjamin Netanyahu to finish the Gaza war. | |
| Watch this. | |
| According to Israeli Channel 12, in a call on Monday, President Trump reportedly told Netanyahu, I want you to end the war. | |
| Finish it. | |
| The war is exhausting itself. | |
| Military expert Yaakov Lapin tells CBN News the IDF is making steady progress and needs time to finish the job. | |
| And the reason that they're moving slowly and methodically is because Hamas has booby-trapped, really, you know, in places like Han Yunis, one out of every three buildings is booby-trapped according to the IDF personnel that are down there on the ground. | |
| He also points out that Hamas's power is weakened as food is going directly to Gazans through the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. | |
| Tuesday, it distributed more than 2 million meals. | |
| And the reason that that's very harmful to Hamas is because it takes away the dependency of the Gazan civilians on Hamas, and that removes its political power. | |
| President Trump also is reported to have asked Netanyahu to back away from attacking Iran's nuclear facilities while the U.S. and Iran are trying to strike a deal. | |
| However, CENTCOM Commander General Michael Carrilla told House Armed Service Committee Chairman Congressman Mike Rogers that if the negotiations fail, the U.S. is prepared to take military action against Iran. | |
| If the president directed, is CENTCOM prepared to respond with overwhelming force to prevent a nuclear-armed Iran? | |
| I have provided the Secretary of Defense and the President a wide range of options. | |
| I take that as a yes. | |
| Yes. | |
| On Tuesday, U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee told Bloomberg News, the U.S. now holds deep doubts about a Palestinian state, and he doesn't expect to see one in our lifetime. | |
| In an interview with CBN News, Huckabee pushed back against French President Macron's statement that he would declare a Palestinian state. | |
| The president of France would like to have a Palestinian state. | |
| I suggest that he host one on the French Riviera. | |
| He has that property. | |
| That's his. | |
| He can do what he wants. | |
| But for him to impose something on a sovereign nation like Israel and tell them what they're going to do, I thought not only was inappropriate on its face, but ill-timed. | |
| Israel's in a war for its life. | |
| Macron has since walked back his push for a Palestinian state. | |
| Wow. | |
| This is interesting, right? | |
| The world is about to change in the next few days if Israel considers to strike Iran in the coming days without support of the United States. | |
| Now, this is going to change the landscape of the Middle East completely. | |
| Now, you have to understand the U.S. Embassy in Jerusalem is also bracing for a possible Israeli strike on Iran. | |
| The threats are getting more intense and more aggressive by the day. | |
| We have to pay attention because America right now is dealing with its own problems, but America has been involved in the Middle East, and it's a lot of interest that is going to take place if, listen to this, if Israel considers and decides to move without support of the United States. | |
| Yes. | |
| Now, a lot of people are paying attention to what does the Bible have to say about Israel, especially in the times that we're in. | |
| That's right. | |
| Some people believe that Bible prophecy is either here now or is coming. | |
| All I can tell you is that everything is pointing to Bible prophecy like never before. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, and also America is fighting its own war within our borders, Wanda. | |
| We see that there are ICE protests going on across the nation. | |
| It started off in Los Angeles, and now this upcoming weekend, as you watch this show, would have been probably one or two previous weekends ago. | |
| Pretty much every major city in the United States of America is saying that we are going to protest. | |
|
Chaos and the Call for Compassion
00:15:51
|
|
| Watch this. | |
| Governor Gavin Newsom is finally taking action. | |
| He's finally putting his foot down. | |
| He's had enough. | |
| Newsom and LA Mayor Karen Bass claim to have a simple solution. | |
| Just stop enforcing immigration law. | |
| The real solution of all of this is for the administration to stop the raids. | |
| Speaking at Fort Bragg today, Trump was unfazed by the Newsom resistance and vowed to never let the thugs destroy federal property. | |
| Generations of Army heroes did not shed their blood on distant shores only to watch our country be destroyed by invasion and third world lawlessness here at home like is happening in California. | |
| And now Democrats are pretending to be outraged about the prospect of Trump invoking the Insurrection Act, which of course is his right. | |
| I'd say it's his obligation to do if, and it's his call, if he feels the United States is being threatened from within by violent seditionary forces. | |
| We had some bad people. | |
| We have people they look in your face and they spit right in your face. | |
| They're animals. | |
| And these are paid insurrectionists. | |
| These are paid troublemakers. | |
| They're agitators. | |
| They're playing politics and they're covering for their constituents. | |
| Donald Trump wants conflict and violence. | |
| House Democrats stand on the side of peaceful protests and condemn the violence that Donald Trump is rooting for. | |
| But they are playing with fire here. | |
| They need to rip out the vile anti-American element from their party and start over. | |
| Because the protesters, I hate even calling them protesters. | |
| They're not really protesters. | |
| These are criminals. | |
| They're dressed in all black. | |
| They're marauding through the streets, taunting law enforcement. | |
| They've been programmed to believe that this country is illegitimate. | |
| This is our city and this was Mexico. | |
| You can't kick us out of the land that was ours. | |
| Indigenous land. | |
| This was Mexico. | |
| This is our fucking turf. | |
| So the message they're sending America is clear. | |
| They don't recognize this government as legitimate, and they certainly don't recognize Trump as a legitimate president. | |
| The bottom line, these thugs, if they don't get the government they want, the policies they want, they'll burn it all down. | |
| As Latinos, it's hard to put justice and compassion in the same sentence right now because the credibility of this chaos is not furthering the cause to fixing an immigration problem in this nation. | |
| This, the Bible calls it rebellion. | |
| That's right. | |
| The spirit of rebellion. | |
| I'm not going to give you my opinion because as a Latino, I don't want to base my answer on my opinion. | |
| I have to go through what the Bible has to say about how we're seeing these things. | |
| And if you're a Christian watching this, don't let your heart get hardened by what you're watching. | |
| Recognize the rebellion, the spirit of rebellion in this nation is destroying the credibility of the answer that we need as a people, as a nation, in order to fix this immigration problem that we're facing. | |
| When our Latino community is angry and is burning flags and carrying flags from their own nation, it destroys the credibility and why they deserve to be in this country. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| Immigration has always been a part of America's history. | |
| 100%. | |
| Immigration has built a lot of our communities. | |
| But I also believe that if we're going to have law and order, we have to meet the Bible halfway in understanding what does the Bible have to say about being compassionate and being able to accept the immigrant into a nation. | |
| We cannot break the laws. | |
| There is no room to break a law. | |
| There is no room. | |
| As a matter of fact, the Bible calls us to abide in the land, in the law of the land, not to break the law. | |
| But then there's a very thin line of how do you become compassionate to immigrants in this nation. | |
| I'm not just talking about Latinos. | |
| I'm talking about Asians, Africans, British. | |
| I mean, you go down the line. | |
| But when rebellion turns into chaos, it's not protest anymore. | |
| That's right. | |
| How do we get our message across when it starts at the top? | |
| That's right. | |
| Right? | |
| The problem starts at the top with politicians not having an answer on how to fix this problem. | |
| We utilize people to further our agendas. | |
| But at the end of the day, are we really fixing the problem? | |
| Absolutely not. | |
| We watch it and you have a rebellious generation that is filled with anger and hate and it turns into rebellious and rebellion when you throw a rock into police cars. | |
| Yeah, we're at people. | |
| That's right. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| That's not going to bring a message across that you need help. | |
| And I'm speaking to all my Latino community watching right now. | |
| If you want these answers to be solved, the Bible calls it to become peacemakers. | |
| It's time to gather ourselves. | |
| Every Latino leader needs to meet the president at the table and begin to have solutions and not organize chaos. | |
| We lose the battle every single time. | |
| 100%. | |
| And what happens, Ricky, is that hate on the other side, Americans will be filled with hate. | |
| All of a sudden, innocent people will get targeted. | |
| Which we've seen. | |
| That's right. | |
| My daughter's friend got targeted yesterday. | |
| She's an American citizen. | |
| of Mexican descent or heritage. | |
| And a lady was so angry that she didn't get what she wanted from the store, yet she points out this 14-year-old little girl and tells her, I hope that Trump sends immigration to get rid of you. | |
| This 14-year-old says, I'm an American. | |
| I don't understand what you're talking about. | |
| So you're seeing both sides play a part of anger, but that's not the solution. | |
| America has laws just like every nation. | |
| That's right. | |
| Following the law, it's not hard. | |
| You understand? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| But at the same time, you're dealing with a spirit of rebellion in the church. | |
| It's got to be very careful are not getting in ties with anger and pride. | |
| We understand this is the greatest nation in the world. | |
| That's right. | |
| But to use it as being prideful, now you fall into a part where you're also becoming part of a rebellious moment. | |
| That's right. | |
| We have the answers. | |
| I believe. | |
| And listen, instead of getting angry, let's pray. | |
| Let's pray that God will give wisdom to whether you like this administration or not, whether you agree with them or not. | |
| At the end of the day, let's pray for wisdom that someone will get a vision on how to fix this immigration problem. | |
| That's right. | |
| We fully support legal immigration. | |
| That is what has made this country great. | |
| I don't know if you know this, but our founding fathers immigrated to this country. | |
| We then therefore brought other people to come and help us build this country. | |
| We absolutely 100% unequivocally support legal immigration. | |
| I support the fact that people can come here for asylum and safety as well. | |
| Go through the due process. | |
| That's all we're asking you. | |
| Follow the laws of the land, become a citizen, get your green card, get your papers, work hard in the United States of America, live the American dream. | |
| We want that opportunity for everyone. | |
| I believe this is the greatest nation in the entire world for something like this, to be able to come and have opportunity to build generational wealth, to get your family out of poverty out of a third world country. | |
| I think it's a great thing, but come abide by the due process. | |
| But also, Mondo, like you said, on the other hand, if you're an American and you see a family come here and they went through the due process, they did everything they can. | |
| They are American citizens. | |
| They have their green cards. | |
| We are not to act out in a way to say, well, go back to your country. | |
| Every single American should have a country to be able to go back to. | |
| Every one of us. | |
| We weren't the first people here on this land, but I'm telling you right now, we need to honor the laws of the land. | |
| It's very important. | |
| The Bible says it makes it very clear. | |
| What is a nation without borders? | |
| Not a nation at all. | |
| We have to have borders. | |
| We have to have a strong southern border. | |
| People don't talk about this. | |
| We have to have a strong northern border. | |
| You have many illegal immigrants are coming in through the Canada border and we're not talking about it. | |
| There's so much more land to be able to do that from. | |
| We have to have strong borders in our country. | |
| Rules must be followed. | |
| But we also must be, as a church, be able to open our arms up to those people and say, you know what? | |
| If you're willing to follow due process, we're willing to help you get started to live the American dream. | |
| And I stand by that. | |
| The Bible says that the Lord has not given us a spirit of fear. | |
| That's right. | |
| There's love and a sound mind. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And there's so much fear in our communities right now. | |
| I'm not just talking about the Latino community. | |
| I'm talking about every community in America is walking with fear and is creating chaos, confusion, and destruction. | |
| Yet the Bible is not calling us to fear. | |
| The church is still the greatest answer to this problem. | |
| That's right. | |
| Allowing the church to have answers, understanding how to deal with immigration in your own community. | |
| Every community today, Ricky, has Latinos, Asians, Africans in their community, but the fear of not understanding who we are creates that chaos. | |
| We don't move in chaos. | |
| We don't move in fear. | |
| And pastors, you have to give answers to your people and allow them to understand the difference between protest and chaos. | |
| That's right. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| When we understand what the Bible says, we move in faith, not in fear. | |
| But also pray for this administration because sometimes administrations do things so aggressively that it creates chaos and then there's no answer. | |
| We think that everything has an answer using the military and using this. | |
| And I understand that. | |
| But at the end of the day, we have to have a solution in America. | |
| We cannot continue to deal with this problem every single year. | |
| We also have to be people who are open to solution. | |
| You know, we see a lot of protests. | |
| I don't know if you guys have seen the Fox News, CNN, whatever it is that you watch. | |
| We see these people, you know, they're saying, well, we're peacefully protesting. | |
| They're throwing rocks. | |
| They're flipping police vehicles. | |
| They're burning down their own cities, which is sad. | |
| You can see it there on the screen. | |
| I don't know if you guys remember a few years ago, there was a man and a woman who stood outside of a Planned Parenthood with signs, and they actually didn't say a word. | |
| They were simply holding a sign that said, choose life. | |
| This man and this woman were arrested and they were put in jail. | |
| They were peacefully protesting. | |
| That is a true peaceful protest. | |
| We support the right for someone to go and peacefully protest. | |
| Mondo, the minute you pick up a weapon, you pick up something that could cause harm to somebody, you throw that. | |
| You have just now turned the leaf. | |
| It is no longer a peaceful protest. | |
| It is an unjust, you know, unlawful, unruly protest. | |
| And sorry, there's laws. | |
| People go to jail for that kind of stuff. | |
| It's important that we as a church offer a solution. | |
| If there's hurting people, bring them into the church. | |
| The only thing that's going to change the course of action in the United States of America is if the entire nation wakes up to the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| That's the only place that we can find peace, love, joy, happiness, patience. | |
| It's the only place we can find self-control. | |
| You think maybe you can find these things outside of Jesus, but they're not the real and the pure form of this. | |
| Mondo, if we want to find peace in the United States of America, there's only one place to find it. | |
| It's not the White House. | |
| It's the church. | |
| There's a difference between correction and punishment. | |
| Correction, the Bible says, heals. | |
| Punishment wounds. | |
| There's a major difference. | |
| But our society today, our young people don't know the difference and they're being led astray, creating chaos where we shouldn't have chaos. | |
| That's right. | |
| And shame to every leader of every organization that is creating chaos and not allowing our young people to understand how to protest rightfully, to understand how to communicate. | |
| We have a hurting generation that is feeling like no one's listening to them. | |
| But at the same time, who's leading them? | |
| Who's leading them into this chaos? | |
| And then on top of that, you have corrupt organizations that are paying, Ricky, for people to infiltrate and create chaos where the truth gets lost. | |
| The Bible is so clear that we have become a 2 Timothy chapter 3 generation, a lover of ourselves. | |
| That's right. | |
| We have created a chaos. | |
| Pray for our nation. | |
| Pray for our leaders. | |
| Pray for healing in this nation. | |
| America has been blessed by God. | |
| We cannot turn our back on the blessings that God has given this nation. | |
| That's right. | |
| We absolutely have been a blessed nation. | |
| The only way we can get back to being a blessed nation again is to turn ourselves once again back to Jesus Christ. | |
| It's the only answer for the problems happening across the world. | |
| I want to say this. | |
| If you're in a city right now, Los Angeles, which we, Aaron, if you're in a city like Dallas, which we, Aaron, and there are protests happening around your area, this isn't the time to turn on a funny movie and pretend like nothing's happening. | |
| Get on your face and pray for your city. | |
| Mobilize your church and pray for your city. | |
| We were talking just the other day. | |
| I said, you know, if pastors, churches, community members, people who are well and able-bodied would go out there and start preaching the gospel in the midst of this. | |
| Sure, people might come up to you and not like it. | |
| But if we started getting the gospel out there in the midst of this chaos, I promise you, there would be those who would change their perspective simply because they hear the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| That's the whole purpose of the show, Monda. | |
| That we can go out and tell somebody somewhere, Jesus is real, He's the only way to heaven, He is the Son of God, and He died on a cross for you. | |
| 2 Corinthians chapter 4, verse 2 says, By manifesting truth, we commend ourselves to every conscience. | |
| We stand for truth, truth that leads to justice, mercy, reconciliation. | |
| That's the message and the blessings, my brother. | |
| If we're going to stand with truth, then we have to stand with what the word of God has to say. | |
| Pastors, evangelists, teachers, God has given you a spiritual responsibility to take this gospel outside of the church and let's bring it into the streets and begin to pray for healing. | |
| That's right. | |
| Lay hands on people, preach the gospel of the kingdom of heaven, and you're going to watch this situation turn into from chaos to healing. | |
| That's right. | |
| We have the power. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, Pastor Jim Baker says it best to your friend, the founder of the PTL Television Network. | |
| Time is short. | |
| I want you to watch this video from your friend, the founder of the PTL Television Network. | |
| It says here: this is what Rick Joyner said: Revelation 12, chapter 12, is fulfilled. | |
| Oh, I could preach and preach on this. | |
| I don't have really time. | |
| But the key, but here's it, it talks about the accuser of our brethren. | |
| Who is that? | |
| Satan. | |
| The devil is cast down, which accuses them before God day and night. | |
| Right. | |
| Do you wonder why the preachers are picked on? | |
|
Satan's Wrath Revealed
00:06:24
|
|
| Do you wonder why the leaders of Israel are picked on? | |
| Do you wonder why all these things are happening? | |
| That is, Satan is picking on the church. | |
| He's after you. | |
| You say, You wonder why I've gone through all of this. | |
| Look at what it says: Our brethren, the accuser of our brethren, is cast down, which accuses them before God day and night. | |
| And verse 12: Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and of the sea. | |
| For the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time. | |
| That's where we are right now. | |
| This is what the prophets are saying. | |
| We are in Revelation chapter 12. | |
| Now, when we were at Billy Graham's funeral, a year ago, right now, yes. | |
| Where did we go when we were there? | |
| We stood by his coffin, and where did we go from there? | |
| Franklin Graham's office. | |
| Okay, and what did Franklin Graham say to us? | |
| Do you remember? | |
| He said to you, myself, and Ricky, our son, we were in Franklin's office, and he locked eyes with you. | |
| And he, and you asked him, you said, Franklin, what do you believe the passing of your daddy means? | |
| They call him daddy, that Franklin and his sisters and brother. | |
| And Franklin locked eyes with you. | |
| Jim, he didn't look to me. | |
| He didn't look to Ricky. | |
| He looked to you. | |
| And he said, Jim, now is the time to stand. | |
| The passing of my father means all the demons of hell have been unleashed. | |
| Jim, he says again. | |
| I mean, I was sitting right there. | |
| Jim, now is the time to stand. | |
| Jim, stand up. | |
| Now is the time to stand. | |
| He said three times. | |
| And he said powerful. | |
| The devil is being cast into the world. | |
| And this is the time, Revelation 12. | |
| And I'll tell you what, it's here now. | |
| It's happening. | |
| Evil is abounding. | |
| Literally, one side wants to destroy America. | |
| Destroy the cross. | |
| Take down everything about God. | |
| Destroy the church. | |
| The church is the last, the last stand. | |
| The church is what's standing against sin. | |
| It's standing against the things that are hurting America. | |
| And so who is in the mark? | |
| Who is in the bullseye? | |
| It's the church, people. | |
| It's time for us to turn to God. | |
| It's time for us, just two or three agreeing. | |
| It's time for all of us, though, to agree because we're in the last days. | |
| Yes. | |
| And all hell will break loose. | |
| Mondo, time is short. | |
| That's the reality of it. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker. | |
| He's obviously the person who foreran this ministry. | |
| He built it to what it is today. | |
| He allows us to continue to come up here and talk about Jesus on his platform. | |
| It's still called the Jim Baker Show. | |
| He asked me just the other day, when are you going to change the name? | |
| I said, you're still here. | |
| What are you talking about? | |
| And we love the Jim Baker Show. | |
| Though we did, I want to talk about some exciting news on the end of the broadcast. | |
| We did sit with him back in my office. | |
| You remember this? | |
| We talked about, hey, you know, how can we keep the gospel message going forward? | |
| How can we continue to broadcast the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world? | |
| And he came up with a new idea for a new pilot show that we're going to be doing out of PTL. | |
| I think we should announce it here soon. | |
| I don't know if I'll announce it today, but we should announce it soon. | |
| We'll come up with a trailer for it, and it'll be a really exciting new pilot show out of the PTL television network from the studios here in Blue Eye, Missouri. | |
| So much is happening that we need to stay in the forefront of everything that is happening and stay with us, stand with us. | |
| We need your support. | |
| We need your prayers. | |
| Exciting things are happening. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| Don't give up on God. | |
| Don't give up on everything that God has for you. | |
| Even though things look chaotic, we are right on time according to this book. | |
| Everything that you're seeing take place is a reminder, Ricky, that Jesus is just around the corner. | |
| Someone said the other day. | |
| Closer than we think. | |
| Things are happening. | |
| He's much closer than we think. | |
| It may have been easy a decade or two decades ago to deny we're in the end times, but Mondo, I don't think anyone right now can deny that we are on the cusp or we're in the middle of the end time revival. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Things are getting aggressive, but the Bible says where sin abounds, much more grace abounds. | |
| That means as sin is getting more aggressive, so is the move of God. | |
| And you're going to begin to get healings when you're not even expecting healings. | |
| Come on. | |
| Salvations are going to get taking place in places that you never expected. | |
| That means that God is on the move. | |
| Amen. | |
