And so what he means by that is, are we sharing, you know, our lives are telling you what's going on in the ministry?

Yeah, we're going through a spiritual disciplines course right now, just telling people how you can be more spiritually disciplined.
Because in the times we're living in, you'll absolutely need spiritual disciplines.
You'll need your physical disciplines as well.
But what does it mean to gain the whole world and lose your soul?
We want to have our spiritual disciplines first and foremost.
You were teaching about fasting this morning.
That's a spiritual discipline.
That's right.
Man, a lot of people gave up on fasting.
Yeah, this new generation, especially my generation, they don't see it as necessary anymore.
I've had so many conversations where they say fasting is not necessary anymore.
You know, we're infilled with the Holy Spirit.
Why would I need to fast?
Well, there's things that can only be broken.
There's things that can only be gained through prayer and through fasting.
Wow.
That's right.
Especially right now.
It's like, how do we ignore the Bible?
Hey, I believe I just choose, I tell people, I just choose to believe what the Bible says.
If the Bible says it, then I believe it.
You know, that's just point blank and simple.
I choose to believe the word of God.
And it's by faith we do that.
Wow.

He also serves on the pastoral staff of his home church in Bristol, Virginia.

He's the author of the book, The Rise of the One World Mind, excuse me, how to thrive under the threat of globalism.
Joshua, I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us today.
What compelled you to write a book about the rise of the one world mind?
And I want to ask you the question right off the jump.
How do we thrive under the threat of globalism?
Well, thank you for having me on.
It's really a privilege and an honor for me to be here with you guys today.
And what compelled me to write the book was really twofold.
The first is that I saw many people who were like me that had a love for the Lord, a love for his truth, but were like the proverbial ostrich with its head buried in the sand.
And that's really the way that I was.
I didn't know a lot of these things were going on as people began to share it with me.
I was like, oh, come on, this is just a conspiracy theory.
What are you talking about?
This is crazy.
This isn't really happening.
And as the years rolled on, I began to see these things for myself and to do my own independent research.
And I realized, wait a second, these guys are right.
A lot of these things are happening.
There is a real push for globalism in the world right now.
So my first goal was to open people's eyes to the reality of how we see the stage being set for the biblical end time scenario.
But my ultimate goal and my second goal was to cause people to look to Jesus.
And that's where thriving under the threat of globalism comes in.
I believe that God doesn't want us just to survive these days that we're walking through, but to really thrive even amid the threat of globalism.
And his word gives us such comfort, gives us such hope, gives us such clarity in spite of all the chaos that we see around us.
Amen.
You know, how is this one world mindset rising right now?
You know, we have such independent thinkers, at least, Mondo, the, you know, secular college right now is teaching independent thought.
Everyone needs to be an individual.
Everyone needs to have their own individual mindset.
But while this is being taught amongst our universities, there still is a one-world mindset on the rise right now.
Yes, and we can look at a lot of different things in the book.
I unpack several different angles.
But if you're speaking about just the mindset primarily, I think you can go back to 2020.
And it was like a switch on the wall, like a light switch was flipped.
And we saw something happen so suddenly that, you know, we were just rolling along 2018, 2019, into 2020.
Everyone had their plans.
I remember a lot of churches, a lot of ministries were saying, 2020, this is going to be a year for clarity.
And speaking about the vision, you know, your eyes seeing 2020.
And then COVID hit.
It was like flipping a switch.
And there was a great spiritual component to this.
And there is in all of this.
And so as we saw that flip, the switch be flipped, we saw the mindset of people to just willingly go along with what they were being told, fork over their freedoms, go along with everything that the government was telling them to do.
And it just revealed to me how easily people gave up their freedoms.
You see, the founding generation of America were willing to risk their safety and security for freedom.
But our generation today seems to be much more willing to give up our freedom in the sense of safety and security.
And so we see people who are willing just to buy into what people are telling them and not to think critically about it, not to consider the consequences of some of their action.
And I know we're going to try to talk about some of the technological component to this, but so many people just want the latest and the greatest tech, and they don't stop and really ask the hard questions.
What boxes are we really opening?
Is this Pandora's box?
Are we going to really unleash something on the world that we can't go back from?
And so that's really the mindset at work and how people were so easily buying into what the government was telling them to use COVID as an example.
And we can see that kind of thing progressing in the book.
I look at several different examples and avenues where we see this developing.
One of the things that we look at is Pastor Jim or father, your friend, prophesied in 1999 that there will be a war on words.
Now you write about that in your book and you open up with this world war on words.
Tell me, what do you mean by that?
Where is this taking us?
Because as we're watching Los Angeles, California turn into a war zone all on the word that the president blurped out.
Yet it's turning our nation upside down.
Tell me, what did you mean by world war on words?
Yeah, that phrase world war on words basically reveals some of the terms that have been really hijacked and used in a manipulative way, in a way that is really innocuous sounding terms.
One of the ones that I mentioned in the book is cooperation.
And oh no, doesn't cooperation sound terrible?
No, I mean, who's not for cooperation in a general sense?
But they mean something else by this.
An illustration that I can give is I went to a quote-unquote Christian college for undergraduate.
I won't get into my life story, but I was not preparing for ministry.
I was going in another career field and then God turned my life around.
But it was at a quote unquote Christian college that I was attending.
And I went there thinking that it was going to be Christian in the sense that they held to the authority of scripture and on down the line with the historic Christian doctrines.
But when I got on campus, I realized they didn't mean Christian in the way that I thought they meant Christian.
And so when we hear terms like cooperation, they don't mean cooperation like the general public would use that phrase cooperation.
Just to give an example of something that's happened recently, you know, the World Health Organization, part of the United Nations, has been talking for many years and really kicked up right after COVID that they wanted to be in control of any future pandemic responses.
The previous presidential administration here in the U.S. pledged air support for that, and they kept using this word over and over and over again, cooperation, cooperation, cooperation.
And so we see that there's this attitude among a lot of the globalists to push forward this concept of cooperation.
And to the globalists, the word cooperation means coming together as one.
And so if anyone says America first or my country first, that's automatically seen as the opposite of cooperation.
I think that's why we see such a push and such a battle over the borders and various things that we're seeing happening, because there's a real spiritual component to a lot of these terms.
And they're really co-opting these terms and changing them, morphing them to mean something that they originally did not mean.
And so we've got to be careful.
We have to be aware.
That's part of my calling, if you will, in that chapter is to open people's eyes to some of these terms that they would hear that would fly under the radar, but that they need to open their eyes and ears to so that they can understand what's really going on behind the language that globalists are using.
I want to mention this before you ask another question, Ricky.
Several months ago, I brought up the idea of pay attention to the language, the language that is being spoken, the language that is developing the language, because I learned years ago with a good friend of mine.
He's in heaven now, one of the greatest Bible teachers I've ever known with Miles Monroe.
And he was explaining on the idea of when a nation like Great Britain colonizes, for example, the Bahamas, the first thing they did was to change the language in order to change the values, in order to change the morals, in order to change the direction.
And I want to tell you something.
Everything begins with language right now in our society.
You have to pay attention to the language that is being spoken, that is being rolled out.
And isn't it amazing, Ricky, that when it comes to artificial intelligence, it's the language that is going to be changing the ethics, the morals of the next 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 years of this nation.
They're changing the language model.
Like you said, especially artificial intelligence.
They're coming up with their own language models and they're actually creating new slang that people are now using in their day-to-day lives.
I mean, can you imagine that?
You showed me a video that two AIs, two AIs were talking to each other.
And then one AI said to the other, do you want to talk this language and communicate faster?
Do you want to switch?
I think they call it gibberish gribish or something like that.
And all of a sudden, two AIs begin to gibberish their communication, and we lost what they were saying.

That's right.
But they were able to understand and create a world and a language that is unknown to us.
True.
Listen, this reminds me that the language that was used in Pentecost changed the future of the church.
That's right.
Something happens when the Holy Spirit moves in and changes your language because it changes your thinking, your values, your ethics, the way you think, the way you pray.
And I want to tell you something.
If the church doesn't start walking in the language of what this book tells us, we will be lost in transition of the understanding with this one world government has taken us.
That's right.
The future is now.
It's not what's coming.
That's right.

We see what's happening around the nation right now.
You know, we see Trump sending Marines to LA as protests continue.
I want to watch this video and then I want to ask you a question about that because I think it actually goes right into the rise of a one-world mind.
War Of Words Over Peace 00:12:04
After another night of skirmishes between protesters and police, 700 active duty Marines are joining the effort to quell the violence that erupted over the weekend in downtown Los Angeles, sent there by President Trump.
I think it would have been a very bad situation.
It was heading in the wrong direction.
It's now heading in the right direction.
The Marines joined thousands of National Guard troops called up against the wishes of California Governor Gavin Newsom and Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass.
There was no reason for them to be here in the first place.
If anything, it was a provocation.
California now asking the courts to send the military home.
Trump and Hegseth ignored law enforcement's expertise and guidance and trampled over our state's California's sovereignty.
The city was burning.
Governor Newsom did nothing.
The mayor did nothing.
So President Trump, God bless him, he sent the National Guard in to save property and save lives.
Mayor Bass now urging the Trump administration to stop the immigration raids taking place throughout the area, which sparked the violent protests.
These raids do not need to take place.
You are talking about people's places of work.
You're talking about schools.
On Capitol Hill, disagreement over whether the military presence is helping or hurting.
Clearly, the state needs help, and the president sends help.
Hopefully, it'll bring some peace.
These people have zero credibility, zero credibility on the other side of the aisle when it comes to issues of law and order.
A war of words over how best to keep the peace.
You heard that right there.
Wow.
War on words.
You know, we're living in a world where they're calling good, evil, and evil good.
I'm not saying either side is doing everything right.
What I'm saying is when there's property being damaged, whenever there are lives being lost, we need to continue to act.
And the president has every right to do so as well.
And honestly, governors, mayors, they should have stepped in beforehand, before it became a presidential issue.
I'm going to ask you this question, Joshua Davis, because I think it's absolutely important for the time we're living in.
We are living in a world where there is a one-world mind on the rise protesting across the globe, not just against ICE, but we see anti-Semitism protesting.
What role does our education system play in this?
And what role do external parties play in the United States love for protesting during this time?
Well, first, I'd like to say that Bible prophecy makes it clear, and even from the lips of Jesus in Matthew 24, he said, as it was in the days of Noah, so it'll be in those days.
And so when you go back to Genesis 6, I think it's around verse 11 down through verse 14.
It just uses the word violence over and over and over again.
I think this is really one of the signs of the times that we're seeing an increase in violence all across the world, especially here in the United States of America.
And yes, you're right.
The education system does play a significant role in what we're seeing, especially with the rise in anti-Semitism.
That's what really concerns me: as the United States and some of the things that we're seeing, especially with the anti-Semitism becoming like a 1930s Germany.
And I don't even like to mention that because I shudder at the thought of what could happen if that's the case.
But it certainly seems like we're becoming so desensitized to violence in general and now anti-Semitism.
And we're seeing that across our nation.
And it's happening not just here in the United States of America, but around the world as we're seeing exactly what Jesus said coming true before our very eyes.
Man, you took me to Matthew 24.
I was going to say, I saw you open the Bible, so I know you have something to say to him right now.
If you want to understand what is happening, all you have to do is go back to the word.
Yes.
Don't create your own opinion because you're going to fall into either the left or the right, but we got to fall into what does the word say about the times that we're in right now?
Because it's a very dangerous moment for the church to lose its way because compassion and kindness and order and obedience is very blurry right now for those believers.
Now, there's people that will lean to one side and be angry about it in your borderline and being so angry that you lose compassion.
But then if you have so much compassion, you lose focus on being able to call sin for what it is.
That's right.
But when you look at the word for nation, Matthew 24, verse 7, for nation shall rise against nation and kingdom against kingdoms, ethnos against ethnos, ethnicity against ethnicity.
And this is what we're watching in America, not only in Los Angeles, we're watching it in Austin, Texas, Dallas, Texas, and soon it's going to begin to spread.
But we are in line with Bible prophecy just the way it accounts.
The key is this: don't get discouraged when you watch all these things.
This is the time that God is going to use for us to throw our nets and cast the gospel out and begin to win some souls and be there when the world is rejecting everything in society.
We are aligning right on the timeline of Bible prophecy.
Don't get confused.
Don't get blurry with the lines.

This is something that you're going to want to have.
And I'm amazed how much scripture there's in this book.
I want to ask Mr. Davis a question.
You know, we've heard many times, probably for generations that we're living in the last days.
Where do you think we fall on the timeline of actually approaching something that could be a one-world government?
Right.
Well, in the Bible, it tells us about the fact that this is the last days, and there's some different interpretations on that.
People have disagreement over those kinds of things.
I certainly believe that we're seeing the setting of the stage for the biblical end times scenario.
And a lot of the things that we're seeing will line up with what the scripture says.
One of the key chapters that I use in the book is Revelation 13, where it talks about the one-world government, one world economy, one world system of worship that'll be here during the tribulation.
Now, if you read the book of Revelation and you take it literally as I do, I don't believe we're in that period called the tribulation right now because it's going to be at least 20, maybe as much as 50 times worse than World War II in terms of casualties.
Now, that's hard for me to wrap my mind around the devastation that happened on planet Earth during World War II.
You're talking about 20 to 50 times as great during the tribulation period.
And so I believe that we are certainly seeing the setting of the stage for those things.
And I believe the rapture of the church could happen at any moment.
What can Christians do to overcome fear, intimidation, and remain faithful to the Lord during this time?
Yes.
Well, so many scriptures speak to this.
And the Bible has hundreds of scriptures that tell the church, do not be afraid, fear not, something along those lines.
Now, this was something interesting that I discovered as I was reading through scripture is that always or almost always coupled with that command is a reminder.
Fear not, for I am with thee, the scripture says.
And it's a reminder, not that the strength is found in us, not that we look within ourselves to discover something deep within that we've got to unlock and unleash on the world.
No, but it's by looking to Jesus, looking to the Lord, fear not, for I am with you.
And the scripture tells us, like in Psalm 56, verse 3, what time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
I had a Sunday school teacher when I was a kid.
She taught us that as a rhyme.
What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee.
Psalm 56, verse 3.
It doesn't say look within yourself.
It's look up to the Lord.
And as you guys were discussing earlier, it reminded me of Luke 21, 28, a parallel to Matthew 24, where Jesus says, when you see these things begin to happen, then look up and lift up your heads, for your redemption draws nigh, draws near.
And we need to have our heads not hanging down.
This isn't a time for the church to be hiding behind closed doors, peeking through the blinds.
What's happening out there in the world?
We don't know.
We can't figure this out.
We look to the Lord because with Jesus, we are more than conquerors.
And if you read the end of the book of Revelation, what does it say?
Jesus wins.
That's the message of the book of Revelation.
Jesus is the victor.
And the first five words of this book are so powerful.
The revelation of Jesus Christ.
It's not primarily the revelation of end times events.
It's not primarily the revelation of the Antichrist and the false prophet and all these other figures.
No, it's the revelation, the unfolding, the unveiling of Jesus and his glorious victory.
So if you know the Lord Jesus as your Savior, you are on the winning side.
And with him, we don't have to hang our heads.
We don't have to live in fear.
We can live by faith, even when we see the kinds of things that's happening around us.
We can live by faith, Mondo.
Incredible time to be alive.
That's all we have is to live by faith and not by sight.
