Understanding Biblical Seasons 00:13:02
Welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show.
Today, Pastor Mark Biltz discusses Genesis decoded, prophetic insights, and the future of Bible study.
Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo de la Vega.
And now, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker.
Hello, friends.
You're watching the PTL Television Network.
It's exciting to have you tune in with us.
We have day two with Pastor Mark Biltz.
Yesterday, we uncovered some powerful roots from Genesis through his new Hebrew English phonetic edition of Genesis.
Mondo, he also just gave us some more information that he's going to be doing the Gospels here in the next few days.
And one thing we forgot to mention on yesterday's program is the brand new calendar.
Incredible calendar.
This right here is going to help you understand the biblical times and seasons.
This is something that is special, something that is presented to you by Pastor Mark Biltz in El Shaddai Ministries, and he wanted to make it available to you today.
So when you order the book, make sure that you get the calendar as well.
So call the number 1-888-988-1588 and ask for the calendar.
This is amazing because it gives you the information of what that month looks like through a biblical view.
Amen.
Not the Gregorian, the one that we're used to using.
This is going to give you all the Hebrew dates and the meanings.
And listen, you want to be informed.
You got to get this today.
It's really going to change the way you view the Bible.
That's right.
You know, when I think of calendars, I think of prophetic patterns.
We've seen people can break down the numbers for us.
So I want to ask you this, you know, talking about prophetic patterns, what types of patterns do you see in Genesis that could be vital for us today as we welcome you back for day two, Pastor Mark Biltz?
Well, thank you so much.
I'd like to start with Genesis 1.14.
Genesis 1.14, people mostly read that God created the sun and the moon for signs, seasons, days, and years.
But actually, we have the correct translation where it says for appointed times, for specific days, and for particular years.
It is referring to the biblical calendar, which is exactly why we created this calendar, because the years it's referring to are the Shemitah years, the Jubilee years.
The days it's referring to are the appointed times, like Passover, tabernacles.
Now, because the sun and the moon are for signs, most people don't realize that refers to an eclipse, because no false prophet can manipulate an eclipse.
And so God had Israel, the first day of every month was a new moon.
You can only have a solar eclipse on a new moon.
Passover and tabernacles are always on a full moon, and you can only have a lunar eclipse on a full moon.
And so God is sending signals when there are eclipses on his appointed times.
I mean, there's been like 10,000 solar eclipses over 5,000 years.
There's probably 10,000 lunar eclipses over 5,000 years, but none of them matter unless they fall on the appointed times.
And so this is very significant.
And for example, I just, you can hold up the month of Adar, 5786.
It's the month of February 18th to March 18th.
I just want to explain something.
Everybody says we're supposed to know the times and seasons, but I ask them, what time is it?
Well, I don't know.
What season is it?
Oh, I don't know.
But if you'll notice on February 18th through March 18th of 2026, just the first few pages of the calendar, you'll see it's the month of intercession.
And this is the month of Naphtali.
And I have the gemstone on the calendar for every tribe.
Plus, the exciting thing is at the bottom, we have exactly the very day Moses was born.
When Moses died, all of the plagues, you'll see the Nile turning to blood.
You'll see the blood red moon is happening this year.
You're going to see the frogs.
I have every day is the anniversary of the event in the Exodus.
Plus, with the QR code, this calendar is also alive.
I give like a 10-minute teaching of every month, what tribe is associated with and what that month means.
For example, the month of Simeon means you need to check your hearing.
That hearing, are you really hearing from God?
And then the month of Reuben is the month where you're supposed to check your eyesight.
Are you really seeing and looking at what God wants you to look at?
So every tribe has a specific month.
Every month has a particular season or thing we're supposed to be doing biblically.
And on the back of the calendar, there are little QR codes.
So you know how to pronounce each tribe.
I want you to help me.
How do I understand the biblical calendar?
How do you right?
Because I see May down here, and then you're giving a different perspective up here.
So how do I understand the biblical calendar that I'm holding?
Okay, the top left will always be the first.
Okay, because it's the first of the Hebrew month.
If you look at the top, it says Savon.
Yes.
Okay, so this is the month of Savan.
This is when Pentecost is, okay, which goes from May 17th to June 15th on the Gregorian calendar.
So the top left, it will say the first of Sivan.
Now look at the Gregorian date right by your finger.
May 17th.
Okay, so I have all the Gregorian dates, but the priority is the biblical calendar.
And so you can literally follow, I enter, mix the Gregorian calendar with the biblical calendar.
So you know exactly what day it is on your normal calendar, but you know what day it is biblically and what event happened.
And this calendar goes all the way to 2027.
Wow.
Wow.
This is unbelievable.
This changes the Bible.
This changes everything.
This changes the way we understand the scripture.
This changes really the comprehensive word of God doesn't change.
That's right.
We try to change it to fit our calendar, but when you put it back into context, you understand why God does certain things on certain dates.
Pastor Mark, are you telling me that the Bible wasn't written with the Gregorian calendar in mind?
Exactly.
That's so important.
Because people need to realize it, Christianity has been on the wrong calendar for 2,000 years.
As you know, the Gregorian calendar was made by Rome and it is based only on the sun.
Now, that's very mathematical, but it's not the one God uses because the Muslim calendar is based only on the moon, the pagan calendar only on the sun.
But in Genesis 1.14, God said he wanted you to use both.
This is why, how would you like it if your spouse said they want to start celebrating your anniversary on the Islamic calendar?
Yeah.
Or we're going to celebrate your birthday on the Islamic calendar.
Yeah, well, it's the same thing.
This is why in Christianity, the resurrection or Easter can be a whole month before he even dies that year because it's on the wrong calendar.
Wow.
That's incredible.
You know, that's why, like I said, it's important that we understand the Bible wasn't written according to the Gregorian calendar.
It was written according to this calendar.
So I mean, you hold that in your hand.
This is something you could have in your office space, in your home space, just to constantly remind you of where we are on God's calendar.
And that's incredible.
I don't want to miss God.
And I'm afraid that if we continue to go with the regular agenda of things, we have the possibility of missing God moments in our lives.
Listen, we want you to get this calendar today.
We want you to get the book.
That is going to help support this program.
It's going to help support Pastor Mark's ministry because every donation that comes in for an exchange of a gift, such as this book, you don't want to miss this book.
This is Genesis.
This is the Hebrew English prophetic Bible with narration and video commentaries with actual verses and genuine biblical art.
Don't miss it today.
Call the number on the screen, 1-888-988-1588.
And on top of that, remember to get your understanding of the biblical times and seasons, calendars, knowing the biblical month for each tribe.
That's right.
What are some simple ways a new believer can begin to use this Bible without possibly becoming overwhelmed, Pastor Mark?
Well, we make it so simple.
I think everybody would want to know the heavenly tongue or the heavenly language.
Everything is at a first grade level.
If you look at the very first pages of that book, we present basic Hebrew and we even have a QR code there where you can actually hear every letter spoken.
We make this so simple, it's on like a first grade level.
So all of us older adults, plus I love the large print in the book, we can make Hebrew so simple, plus being able to hear the entire book of Genesis read in Hebrew.
You're hearing it, you're reading it, you're seeing everything, and it's so simple.
That's what no one should be overwhelmed.
They'll be overwhelmed with the fact that the words mean something different than we always thought in English.
But even the, this is going to be mind-blowing.
Are you ready for this?
Yes.
The tree of knowledge of good and evil.
That's a wrong translation.
Tell me what it comes in.
The tree of good and bad or the tree of right and wrong or the tree of correct and incorrect.
That is a whole mind-blowing teaching I'll leave as a surprise.
But what that really was about, the Hebrew language was so powerful, everyone spoke Hebrew until the Tower of Babel.
And then God spread it into 70 different languages, which are so inefficient to the Hebrew language.
Because in Hebrew, every letter is a word.
Every letter is a number.
Every letter is a picture.
It was so deep.
Technology was advancing at such an accelerated rate.
God had to slow everything down.
So he did that by disrupting the Hebrew language into all these less intelligent languages, so to speak.
The tree of good and bad actually was, you can consider it the tree of technology, where God did not want man to have all of this knowledge.
I mean, he wanted us to be like him, all right?
But now all of a sudden, by eating of that tree, man was able to accelerate knowledge to an extent that, like in the last hundred years, we went to no plane to going to the moon.
And this is where we're at right now prophetically is AI and all of these things going on.
Well, God didn't want mankind to reach that 3,000 years ago.
So he had to slow it down so we would be at this point on the prophetic timeline that we would reach this at his return.
Grid Down Chow Down 00:02:19
How incredible is that, Mondo?
Incredible.
You know, friends, we're going to be right back.
I want to ask Pastor Mark Bilts a few more questions.
I want to play a video from the sponsor of today's show.
I think this is important.
They help us continue to preach the gospel around the world.
Plus, these are good men from Oklahoma.
They're helping people ensure they know what is happening with their food.
Across America, our farmers are facing unprecedented challenges.
Droughts, rising costs, and market uncertainties have led to the lowest cattle inventory in over six decades.
And now America is running low on cows.
That's according to the Department of Agriculture.
My prediction is there'll be a cattle shortage.

You know, Pastor Mark, I want to ask you this question.
In what ways do you see this project helping bridge gaps between Jewish, Jewish and Gentile believers?
Because there's got to be something that bridges the gap between us.
Revelation In Part 00:13:35
And I believe that this could be something like that, Pastor Mark.
It is huge.
It is absolutely huge.
We're supposed to make the Jews jealous, the Bible says, but the church has only made them angry.
My goodness.
The way you make them jealous is when you begin to show them how important it is to learn what you can from them.
We know in Romans, well, let me say this.
We know we see through a glass darkly.
We only know in part.
Well, guess what?
Romans 11 says the Jews were only blinded in part.
So the Jews see clearly out of one eye.
We see clearly out of the other eye.
But the first group to humble themselves and look out of the other eye for the other perspective, then you get to see the whole picture.
And this is why it is so important for us to begin to honor the festivals.
And I go to Israel almost every year, sometimes twice a year.
And oh my goodness, when you go to Israel, it's like you've been invited to someone's house.
They're so welcome and happy that you came because you're showing their support.
Whenever you begin to learn about the biblical festivals, you want to learn about the places, even that the Lord was.
They absolutely love it, and it helps build a very strong connection.
I have huge connections with Orthodox rabbis who actually fly from Israel just to speak to our congregation.
I have like five Orthodox rabbis come and speak to our group on our tours in Israel, and we're enabling them to fulfill their mission.
Oh my goodness, it is so huge to build these relationships.
That's incredible.
You know what I love about this calendar is when you want to start finding what month you were born and what day and where does it land in the biblical calendar.
That's right.
I think that's very intriguing because you're going to learn a lot about yourself.
You're going to learn a lot about why God chose that month for you to be born and that day.
I know, Ricky, I looked up yours, June 14th.
It's your birthday, which is in a few days.
That's right.
And it's, I can't even pronounce it.
Sivan?
Sivan 5786.
Sivan 29.
Month of being properly equipped.
Amen.
You're a diamond.
Amen.
The scripture for us is Numbers chapter 10, verse 16.
And over the host of the tribe of the children of Sebulum was Eliab, the son of Hilon.
Interesting.
And there's a picture of a man, several men riding camels, and that is June 14th.
But I want to tell you something.
If nothing else, get the calendar in the book and go immediately to your birthday, your birth month.
And it's going to change a lot.
What does it mean, Pastor, whenever there's a photo on a date in this calendar?
That's the event that happened.
If you go up to June 8th, or not June 8th, Sivan 8, which is May 24th, that's Pentecost.
This weekend is Shavaot or Pentecost.
This weekend is the actual weekend Moses received the Torah.
Now, when you go down to June 14th, which is Savon 29, that is the very day they sent the spies to go out and spy out the promised land.
Wow.
Amen.
Wow.
If that's not prophetic for you, that's very cool.
Amen.
Wow.
Amen.
That's incredible.
I mean, this calendar, it just shows you there's a lot more to a monitor.
Your birthday is in here too.
The 28th.
Yeah, nothing happened.
Come on.
Hey, hey, I knew it.
I knew it this whole time.
Oh, boy.
No.
Mine is Shabbat.
Amen.
5786, month of humility and submission.
You are a humble man, really.
Oh, man.
Asher.
You know what's so funny about that?
God is so cool.
When I was growing up and I was becoming a gang member, and one of the nicknames they wanted to give me was Asher.
Really?
Yeah, because I smoked a lot of cigarettes at a young age and always smoking, always with an ash.
You know, you ever, I used to hold my cigarette like this and just let it burn and let the ash just sit on the cigarette.
But they wanted to nickname me Asher.
That's part of the Jewish colour.
Isn't that amazing?
Everything's connected.
And then later on, they changed my name to Danger, you know, which I don't see it over here, which is good.
But listen, call the number today.
Find out what your birthday is, what month, the birthday of your kids.
I'm telling you, biblically, God had a plan for your life.
And I want to give you this scripture.
For I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.
You see, God always has a plan.
In the book of Genesis, he had a plan for creation.
He had a plan for mankind.
And his plan hasn't changed.
He loves you then.
He loves you now.
He loves you forevermore.
Call the number today, 1-888-988-1588.
Amen.
I know you have Genesis, and I know you said you're working on the Gospels right now.
There's a lot of books in between that, a couple of 40 books in between.
Are you going to be doing the entire Bible like this, Pastor Mark?
Or is it just select books that you and your co-author are going to be doing?
We're going to do the whole Bible.
After we do the Gospels, we're going to do Exodus and Leviticus as one book.
It'll be about 700 pages.
Then we'll do Numbers and Deuteronomy as one book, 700, 800 pages.
But we're also going to do all the Pauline epistles in one book.
And then we're going to have another book that was written by Luke and by John.
For example, 1, 2, and 3rd John and the book of Revelation will be along with Acts and Hebrews.
Luke actually is the one who wrote the book of Hebrews.
Wow.
Oh, see, that's a great debate within the church.
I don't know if you know that.
It'd be a huge debate to figure out who wrote the book of Hebrews.
A lot of people say Luke.
Other people say it was a scribe of Paul, but you said you can prove there it's Luke, right, Pastor?
Yeah, yep, yep, yep.
Pretty much.
That's incredible.
I need to have an offline conversation with you after this.
I'm going to answer that.
I have a question for you.
If we order all the books that you're going to do, do we get a doctorate of theology after that?
Seriously.
That's awesome.
I think the next book he needs to do is the book of Revelation.
I'm not going to tell him what timeline to do it in, but I would love to know what all that is in the original text.
I'm telling you, that's the times we're living in.
It's the day we're living in.
I know people say, you know, I started with Genesis to go to Revelation next, but let's go ahead and get the front page and the back page and we'll fill it in.
Let's get the bookends, Pastor Mark.
Can we do it?
Yes, I'm going to.
That's what we're going to do.
We're going to do Acts and Revelation next.
Wow.
Oh, you got to be in person to do that.
Yeah, we have to do that.
We want to invite friends to be a part of the studio audience and maybe even record a teaching that people can download and you walk us through the book of Revelation and maybe you can spend a few days here with us.
You know, this would be quite literally the most comprehensive Bible study material in someone's library.
I mean, imagine Genesis through Revelation, 66 books of this level of depth.
This is the first book I'm going to give my son Matteo because he's inspiring to be a pastor, a preacher.
So he said he wants to do it.
He's only 14, right?
He's only 14, about to be 15.
This is the perfect gift I'm going to give him to start learning and not get all this complicated translations out there and start debating me.
No, let's go back to the original word and let's study it together.
So next time you come back, Pastor Mark, and you ask me the questions, I'm going to be ready for you.
That's right.
Well, you can, I wrote my name in this book, so you can say it's from Uncle Ricky.
So there we go.
We'll take that.
Pastor Mark, what is your final word of encouragement?
We have four minutes left.
I want you to take as much time as you want.
We have a lot of hungry viewers who want deeper revelation for God's word.
And that's why they watch this program so they can get true depth, not just shallow words of encouragement.
We want to make sure we encourage people.
We want to make sure people know what times that they are living in.
I truly believe we're living in the last days right now.
And what a beautiful time to be picked and chosen by God to be alive during.
But what's some encouragement for people who are saying, man, I wish I knew the word of God better.
I wish I had a deeper understanding of the word of God.
just don't get it.
My word of encouragement would be to jump in.
Just like with the water, people are afraid they don't know how to swim or they're afraid to swim.
All I can say is jump in.
We know the word of God is compared to water.
So my question is, what is your relationship to the water?
Do you want to sit on the beach and dip your toes in it?
Do you want to go swimming?
Do you want to go out in the boat?
Do you want to scuba dive or snorkel?
Well, I tell you what, I want to go in a submarine and go down to the depths of the word of God.
And that's how we encourage people.
And once they jump in the water, they see all of the beautiful coral reefs of the word of God.
And there's so many secrets that are hidden.
We don't see the coral reefs from the surface.
I want to encourage people, if they want to know God deeper, get this book of Genesis, go scuba diving with us, and you'll become addicted to the word of God.
Amen.
That's a good thing.
That's a good thing to be always kind of clamoring for.
You want to make sure that you are in the word and always going back to the word.
Everything we do, Mondo, we put our feet firmly on the foundation of the word of God.
More now than ever.
Have to.
There's got to be a foundation, friends.
And we want to make sure that that is your foundation that you're living in.
The world will have its opinion, and even certain denominations within Christianity will have their opinion.
But friend, there is no opinion better than the word of God.
The word of God is a firm foundation we can set our feet on.
And Pastor Mark Biltz is giving us access to an even more pure form of this foundation by bringing us back to the original text of what it meant, what it said, and how it's applicable to your life.
So Pastor Mark, I want to say thank you for doing this.
Thank you for taking this journey because this isn't something that just you whip up in a few days, Mondo.
This is a lifetime worth of work.
We have a generation that is addicted to information, but at the same time, it's creating a famine to application.
Ooh, that's good.
Let me say that again.
That's very good.
Don't get addicted to information where you become part of the famine of the application of the word of God.
That's right.
There's a difference.
And I want to tell you something.
When you don't start applying the word of God into your life, you're going to miss an opportunity to grow in the word, to develop in the word, to experience the living word of God that ultimately will create a change of life, a change of mentality, a change of how you carry yourself.
And it's going to change your values and your core beliefs according to the original scripture, which is the word of God.
Amen.
We want to make sure our moral compass is always pointed true north, and there's only one true north, and that is Jesus Christ.
He made it very clear, I am the way, I am the truth, and I am the life.
No man, no woman, nobody comes to the Father except through me.
Friends, the only reason that we can stand in front of the Father and be holy and righteous and pure is because of the blood of Jesus, his Son, that we get to claim as our own through a beautiful sacrifice.
I want to say thank you today.
If you're watching this program and you're saying, you know what, I feel the Holy Spirit moving in my life and I want to call that number, I want to give my life to the Lord.
Thank you for joining the family of believers.
Thank you for giving your life to Jesus Christ.
You know, that's not something a lot of people say.
They say, you know, congratulations, but I want to say thank you for making that choice for yourself.
And not only is it for you, but it's also for your family because the love that Jesus has for you will radiate out of you onto your family.
You know, Mondo, there's a statistic shown that when a man or woman who is the head of a house gives their life to Jesus, there is a significantly higher percentage that their children will give their life to Jesus and their grandchildren will be believers.
Friends, you could be the catalyst for change and revival in your family.
Make that choice today.
Call our number.
It's 1-888-988-1588.
Pastor Mark, this has been an incredible journey throughout the pages of Genesis.
I want to thank you for being obedient to the call for making the word of God come alive for many of us.
And friends, don't miss your chance to get this powerful edition and take your Bible study to the next level.
Call that number, it's 1-888-988-1588.
That's all the time we have today.
But, Pastor Mark, we're going to have you back in person when we do the next couple of books.
I think this is incredible.
We want to see the book of Revelation right here on this desk.
Come on, we love you, and I want you to remember this: God loves you, He really does.
Bye-bye for today.
Thank you.
God bless you.
