Faith's Miracle Vision 00:15:11
Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.
Today, our special guest is author, founder, and co-owner of New Mana Foods, Daniel Brigman.
Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo De La Vega.
And now, live from Cray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker.
Hello, friends.
You're watching the PTL Television Network.
We have a exciting broadcast for you today.
We have Daniel Brighman, the co-owner of New Mana, a nationally trusted name in preparedness.
Daniel has been a guest on several radio programs and authored a book we're going to be talking about a little bit today called Forever 1776.
And that's a great book, Mondo.
I remember when he first gave it to us a few months ago, we read through it.
And then I think we read through it again because that is an incredible book.
He's truly a historian.
I need to add that to his bio because he really is.
And you know, we were having a conversation a while ago and you made a statement and it actually stuck with me.
I was just thinking about it right now, but we were talking about faith and you said, do it with your eyes closed.
And I have a story and immediately popped up a moment in my life where I had to do really a faith step with my eyes closed.
And friends, I'm going to tell you exactly what that is, but I want to read something for you first.
Go to Hebrews chapter 10, verse 31.
It says right here, I'm going to read until Hebrews chapter 11.
It says, it is a terrifying thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Remember the earlier days when after you had been enlightened, you endured a hard struggle with sufferings.
Sometimes you were publicly exposed to taunts and afflictions.
And at other times, you were companions of those who were treated that way.
For you sympathized with the prisoner and accepted with joy the confiscation of your possessions because you know that you yourself have a better and enduring possession.
So don't throw away your confidence, which is a great reward, for you need endurance so that after you have done God's will, you may receive what was promised.
For yet in a very little while, the coming one, the coming one will come and not delay.
But my righteous one will live by faith.
And if he draws back, I have no pleasure in him.
But we are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and are saved.
Chapter 11, verse 1 says, we get this quoted a lot.
Now, faith is the reality of what is hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.
I texted this to someone just the other day because they needed a word of encouragement.
I'm going to pull it up on my phone and read it to you.
Right here, you know, it says right here.
Let me see.
Let me see where I'm reading this right here.
I want to make sure I get this correctly.
It says right here.
Here we go.
It says, you know, he will help you.
And I know he'll sustain you.
And you will not sink because you're going to keep your eyes on him.
That is critical.
We have to keep our eyes on him.
That is faith.
It's doing it with your eyes closed.
And that leads me into the story I was thinking about when you said that.
It immediately threw me into a story.
The very first time I ever did a military static line jump, I had done regular recreational skydiving before this.
But this is the very first time at airborne school in the Army, I'm doing a static line jump with the military.
So, you know, my military uniform, my helmet, you have to do everything to a T.
I just spent two weeks doing a ground week and I did another week doing what they call a tower week.
And now it's time to actually jump out of the plane.
And I remember I'm holding my static line.
I'm sitting there.
Everything is becoming blurry.
I'm having to put two weeks of training into this moment right here.
All of a sudden, you know, we get all the cues.
Stand up, check your equipment, do all the things.
There's a red light inside of the airplane.
It's really, really lighting the entire thing up.
And all of a sudden, that light turns green.
And green means go.
I don't know if you guys know that, but I remember following in line.
I was probably the fifth or sixth jumpers, my very first military static line jump in a training facility.
And as I turned to hand my static line to the jump master and turned to look into the door, I closed my eyes.
I did.
I handed it off to him.
Immediately when I broke eye contact with him, my eyes were closed.
And then about a second later, I was outside of the airplane.
And I opened up my eyes.
And I literally thought to myself, oh man, why did I close my eyes?
And I realized I closed my eyes in that moment because I was fearful of the step I was about to take.
But I had faith in knowing the equipment was set up correctly.
I had faith in knowing that the jump masters would make sure I got out the door the right way.
I had enough faith to still take the step.
I just had to do it with my eyes closed.
And a lot of times we're in this spiritual walk where sometimes you're looking and it's like, oh, Lord says, hey, take a step forward.
And you look and the step forward is a cliff.
You're saying, God, is this the step you want me to take?
Sometimes in this faith journey, it says right here, faith is the reality of what's hoped for, the proof of what is not seen.
Sometimes you don't see the platform that God is about to have you step onto, and it looks like you're going to jump off that cliff.
But I promise you, friends, if you take everything, sometimes you got to do it with your eyes closed.
Say, Lord, I'm going to trust you.
Take that step of faith.
He'll always provide the platform.
He'll always provide the platform for you to step on to be safe on.
Sometimes, Mona, that platform might be a foot down.
It feels like you're going to start falling.
But he always provides security for you if you walk in full faith.
And that's why it says right here.
We're not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and are saved.
So, Mona, if we draw back, it's a recipe of disaster.
If we lose faith, it's a recipe to be destroyed.
But if we can hold faith, if we can keep endurance, we will receive what was promised to us.
By faith is how God operates.
Amen.
By faith, we are healed.
By faith, we are restored.
By faith, you understand that God's economy is all about faith.
Faith is the substance, one scripture translation reads.
That substance, the origination of God is having to have faith to believe on what was not created.
If you want your faith to be built, you have to go to Hebrews chapter 11 because it gives you a lineup.
By faith, Abel offered to God better sacrifice than Cain did.
Then later on says, by faith, Noah, after he was warned about what was not yet seen and motivated by godly fear, built an ark by faith, Abraham.
By faith, Sarah.
I mean, you get the understanding that God chooses faith in order for him to be glorified.
That's right.
So it doesn't become about you.
That's right.
I was telling you a few moments ago that faith is crazy because faith allows you to put your whole entire process of trusting God about everything that you have no understanding about.
But God gives you the faith to understand that when you trust him, you're fulfilling scripture.
The Bible says that every step ordered by the Lord.
I want you to know something.
Every step that we take has to be a step of faith.
If you don't have the faith to believe for the impossible, then how can God allow himself to manifest in our lives if we don't start practicing the faith?
That's right.
You know, faith isn't hoping that God is going to do it.
Faith is knowing that God is going to do it.
That changes it.
That's it.
That's it.
When you know God's going to take care of you, he's going to provide for you.
He's going to sustain you.
It changes how you walk.
It changes how you talk.
You know, there's two times in scripture we see Jesus interacting with faith, and it says there's two, only two times in scripture that he was amazed at faith.
One of them was because of how much belief that someone had, which was a centurion.
We see that in Matthew chapter 8 right here.
It says, the Lord Centurion replied, I'm not worthy to have you come under my roof.
Just say the word and my servant will be healed.
For I am too a man under authority, having soldiers under my command.
I say to this one, go and he goes.
And I say to another, come and he comes.
To my servant, do this and he does it.
Hearing this, Jesus was amazed and said to those following, truly I tell you, I have not found anyone in Israel with such a great faith.
And he was amazed by that faith.
And then we see again in a counter in Mark 6, verse 6, it says right here, he's rejected at Nazareth.
And I'm just going to, it says right here, it says in verse 4, Jesus says to them, a prophet is not without honor except in his own hometown among his relatives and in his household.
He was not able to do a miracle there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and healed them.
And he was amazed at their unbelief and was going around the villages and teaching.
We can amaze the Lord one way or the other.
And I pray that it would be the centurion's way, friends, that we have so much faith to say, God, I know that if you just say the word, it will happen and not the other way, or he's amazed at the amount of unbelief in which we can have.
Friends, faith is the substance of things hopeful.
Like Monto said, go to Hebrews chapter 11, read that.
Have your faith encourage.
Because Mondo, I truly believe that our faith can excite God, where he says, man, these simple people, because that's what we are.
We're a simple people, truly believe what I say is final.
And friends, that's what faith is.
We have more faith in fear than we have faith in God.
Yeah, it's true.
We know fearful things will happen and we believe that.
Why?
Because fear is comfort.
Fear doesn't allow you to have the faith to believe for the impossible.
And a lot of people camp out in the area of fear because it's what you're used to.
Most people never achieve their dreams.
Most people never achieve what God has called them to do.
That means that if God has called you to write a book, then write a book.
If God called you to preach, then start preaching.
But you know what happens in between that time is that fear sets in and you begin to doubt God and that fear takes over your mind.
It takes over your heart.
The Bible says that out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
And if fear lives in your heart, then the words you speak are fearful.
You discredit yourself.
But when you start allowing the word of God, the Bible says that faith cometh by hearing.
And hearing by what?
The word of God.
The word of God.
That means speak the word.
Uh-oh, you're going to get me preaching.
Speak the word so you can live the word and believe the word and have faith in the word.
God wants you and I to believe in faith because faith is the substance of things not seen, but it is the evidence.
That's a contradicting statement because the evidence and the faith don't align.
Because faith means that you have to believe in something that you don't see, but it's also the evidence that you don't see.
It gets a little muddy in that, but it is the faith that allows you to see the evidence that in your natural eyes, you can't see the miracle.
Yeah, it's faith.
You can't see debt gone.
You can't see a house come in.
You can't see a new car.
You can't see a, you understand what I'm saying?
In the natural, you're discredited by the credit score that you have.
You know, but I want to tell you something.
Faith tells you that when even when your credit score doesn't look good, you have the faith to believe for a new house.
That's faith.
That's speaking faith.
That's believing in faith.
That's allowing God to work with you because he works with you on how much faith you have in him.
I mean, if you don't believe me, just go back in the scripture and realize that he healed everyone he met along the way, not because of their bank account, not because of the disease, but because of what?
Yeah, their faith.
Because of your faith, you are healed.
I think this is a sermon that you need to evaluate every single day because most of the time we're running empty on faith.
We have the word.
We have the knowledge.
We have the stories.
We have the quotes, but we're missing the faith.
I think that most people are empty on faith and running through life on very low faith.
And then you wonder why God is not moving in your life.
God wants us.
I know for me, God has been, you know, working in my heart the last few months that I need to work on building my faith.
Amen.
Because if I can build my faith through this scripture that you just read, then everything we're believing God for, I'm believing God for healing in my wife's body with lupus.
And I want to tell you, that's a battle.
It's constantly, God, you're not moving.
God doesn't look good.
God, my wife is not feeling good today.
She's not able to move today.
And if I live in the fear, then God will never allow healing to take place because my faith is not meeting his expectations.
I want to tell you something.
God is about to bless you, Ricky.
God is about to move in your life in a way that you've never seen before because God is testing your faith right now in the most impossible situation.
And all I can tell you that God keeps telling me to tell you is work on your faith, meaning stay focused on him.
Don't focus on the finances of this ministry.
Don't worry about the naysayers.
Amen.
Keep your eyes on him to hear his voice.
Because when you hear his voice, your faith is going to be elevated to the point where Moses heard his voice through faith and never saw him.
Amen.
Amen.
Get ready, kid.
Amen.
I believe that.
You're about to see faith in a different way in your life.
You know what I love about faith is it's a gift really given to us that we get to exercise, but you can never have too much of it.
Like I said, we can't exaggerate God.
You can always have more faith.
You can always pray more.
You can always get into the word more.
But I love that the gift of faith is given to us believers that we can truly trust that if God said it, he's going to do it.
If the word of God declares it, then it is done.
Friends, we need to have ourselves firmly rooted in the word of God because this is honestly, I've said it many times.
This is a 66-book love letter of how much he cares about us, how much he loves us.
You know, from Genesis chapter one to Revelation chapter 22, he is simply showing his faithfulness over and over and over and over.
You'd read it and assume, oh, I should have faith in a God like this.
But sometimes, like you said, we allow fear to dictate what happens in our lives.
Friends, I want to encourage you, let faith dictate how you live your life.
Let faith dictate what's going on in your day-to-day operations of your home, of your business, of your life.
We'd Love To Pray 00:06:37
Make sure that you are living by faith and not by fear.
Friends, if you're not a believer and you're watching this today, we want to pray the salvation prayer with you.
It's the most important decision you'll ever make.
And it truly is a step of faith.
But friends, you can call that number.
It's 1-888-988-1588.
We'd love to pray the salvation prayer with you.
We'd love to walk you through the steps of being a believer, help you find a good Bible-believing church that you can get involved in.
Because friends, it is important to have like-minded accountability believers around you so that you can walk this journey not alone.
You can walk it with brothers and sisters who love Jesus, have a passion for the Bible, and they have their feet firmly planted on the foundation that is the word of God.
Don't hesitate to call that number.
We'd love to pray the salvation prayer with you.
We would love to walk you through those steps, and we'd love to be a part of your journey, standing in the gap, even for your loved ones.
You know, Mondo, it seems like this country is turning around.
We're still moving towards a goal of America being prosperous again.
We're coming out of a time where it seemed to be very dark, and we're moving into what they're calling a golden age.
And I truly am believing for that.
You know, a lot of people are kicking up their feet during this time.
They're relaxing.
They're saying everything's good and golden.
But Mondo, presidents only last four years.
Sometimes they last eight, but this one only has four more years left in his term.
Friends, I still believe it is vital for the church to ensure we are prepared.
It is vital for the church to ensure that we are able to take care of a lost and dying world, not just in the spiritual way, which is the most important way, but also in a physical manner.
There's supposed to be open doors in the church for whosoever will to come and hear the gospel.
Sometimes it's through a bowl of food, sometimes it's through a glass of clean water, sometimes it's through a fresh pair of clothes.
Friends, we have a video from your beloved friend, your pastor, Jim Baker, and I want you to watch this because he really believes that this is the last season to get prepared.
Watch this.
So that black horse, the third seal, has the pair of balances in his hand, and you know that.
A day wages.
You get a loaf of bread.
This is famine.
It's already coming around the world.
Millions are dying of famine.
But this is next.
All of these things.
So my number two point that God said, and it sounds like I'm repeating something I've been preaching for a long time, but God spoke to me again.
He said, write it down.
Food must be stored along with water and filtration.
Springs of water will be more important.
So if you go to move, make sure there's water there.
Make sure there's water.
You know what?
You can't live without water.
Why did God put it in the Bible that there's going to be a lack of these things?
Why did he put it that there's coming famine in the last days?
Why would God do that?
Because he wanted some watchman, some kooky watchman, to read it and believe it and tell you.
It's a mess, people.
Wait till you hear what the government's saying to us right now.
Think water.
I've got to get a sign made.
Think water.
Remember, it used to be think.
Remember, it used to say think.
Well, think water.
If you're going to buy a house, get one near water.
If you can get a spring in the backyard, that's better yet.
We've got about 10 springs in the valley here.
But we have a big spring right here.
We have wells here.
We're trying to do more.
I just wish I could get a few more people with vision.
We need vision, not division.
You need vision.
Why would it hurt to have a backup for power and electricity?
God spoke to me, number three.
Number two, food must be stored.
Water must be important.
Think water.
You need filters and all any way to have water.
The Lord spoke to me.
This is the last season to get prepared.
When I say season, I don't mean spring or fall.
I mean the period of time.
This is the season.
This is the time.
So this is part of point two and three and four.
And point four, prepare for your family and loved ones.
Lack of food is coming.
Don't forget grandma and grandpa and grandkids.
God's speaking to me this again in the middle of the night because we don't do it.
We haven't taken care of the family.
Churches must prepare for members and outreach to the lost.
Amen.
Friends, we need to ensure that we are those places where the lost can come and they can find the one true thing that actually matters in this world, Jesus.
Jesus is the most important thing.
He always has been.
He always will be.
And we need to ensure that we are out there proclaiming the name of Jesus.
Sometimes even if it comes through a bowl of food, sometimes even if it comes through a clean glass of water, we need to make sure that the church is proclaiming the name of Jesus.
Well, we have with us Daniel Brigham.
Daniel, I want to say thank you for being on the broadcast with us.
God bless you.
You wrote a book, and I want to jump right into it if you don't mind.
I'm not going to even follow the format.
I'm just going to talk about your thumbnail.
I'm going to throw this whole thing away because we don't really follow it.
All of my heart.
We provide it as a formality sometimes, but we just toss it out the window.
You wrote a book called Forever 1776.
Yeah, here you go right here.
You talk about really, you know, we'll dive into what you're going over, but you see the country right now in 2025.
You saw the last four years of what we just went through under the Biden administration.
And tell us right now with the new administration, do you see hope that we could come back to the original vision, what America had planned for us?
Absolutely.
I mean, especially compared to the last four years.
We were here on election night.
You know, if you remember that, that was really an exciting time.
Growing Need in Supply Chains 00:15:52
And part of the excitement, or majority of the excitement, was what was possible now.
It seems like a world of possibility.
And that's what America represents more than anything as a world of possibility, the world of opportunity.
So yes, I think it's there for us if we can grab hold of it.
That's right.
You know, President Trump has been shaking up the status quo when he implemented the Department of Government Efficiency Doge.
We see some things that are being shooken up.
I won't have a report on this.
I want you to watch this and I want you to comment on this.
Okay, great.
Watch this.
The Department of Agriculture has announced the USDA and the Trump administrations has terminated over $80 million in funding for two critical programs, the Local Food for Schools Cooperative Agreement and also the Local Food Purchase Assistance Cooperative Agreement.
At Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, volunteers are busy putting food into boxes, which are then sent out to dozens of partner organizations early morning at the Second Harvest Food Bank in Winston-Salem.
The Forklifts in full motion.
Pallets of food heading out across the state.
What we do along with our partners, it's instrumental.
Food is foundational for all of us.
Second Harvest gets some funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture or USDA, but it also gets direct food deliveries.
We are serving a half million people every month, which is still at pandemic levels of need.
One in seven people face food insecurity.
Second Harvest, one of six main food banks serving the state's 100 counties.
In January, they provided meals to almost 80,000 people.
The need is constant, and that's unfortunate, but we're glad that we can be here.
A huge chunk, about 30 to 40 percent of the food comes from federal funds.
In a statement, the USDA confirmed the program cut, saying, unlike the Biden administration, which funneled billions in CCC funds into short-term programs with no plan for longevity, USDA is prioritizing stable, proven solutions that deliver lasting impact.
The COVID era is over.
USDA's approach to nutrition programs will reflect that reality moving forward.
What we do every single day is highly impactful, highly efficient.
And when you're talking about the federal programs we're involved with, is they are the same.
Some of that food ending up here.
A fresh mobile market in Archdale.
Neighbors in need provided a week's worth of meals.
People are coming to receive food from us that have never come before.
We're seeing more first-time users than we ever have.
Beth Christ operates the Out of the Garden Food Pantry, a distribution center serving Archdale and the surrounding communities.
There's a lot of fear on the street, and those who may not have felt like they were food insecure before now are feeling the weight of their low-income status.
We've been seeing a growing need.
Tabitha Cisneros works on the front lines and says clients are already asking about changes to the contents of the food boxes.
Times are asking me, hey, is there any more chicken?
Is there any more of this?
Is there any more meats?
Any more eggs coming anytime soon?
Do you know when?
And unfortunately, I can't provide them.
I can't give them a date when they're going to come back.
Wow.
What do you make of that report?
Even before this, you can see there's a transition coming in the administration.
Really, our country, there's so many things that be remade.
But food banks, if you study the participation in food banks over the last seven years, eight years, you're seeing a dramatic increase of dependency of people's need.
That obviously something's going on.
Food insecurity is on the rise in the country without question.
You said one in seven people face food insecurity.
I mean, we live in the greatest country in the world, the United States of America.
Would you ever have thought that the number would be that high?
It's one in every seven Americans.
Growing up, I probably wouldn't.
The only way I would have is my grandparents lived through the Depression.
Yes.
And so you'd hear stories like that.
You know, that's what we're talking about.
We're talking about depression-level dependence and insecurity in supposedly good times.
You got, you know, haves and have-nots are being pushed greater distance between them both.
No, I wouldn't have, but it's happening.
It is happening.
Can we believe what's happening right now?
I think it doesn't settle in our minds that the potential impact on food banks right now and the community programs that we are all grew up accustomed to.
I mean, there's ministries around the world set up food banks.
Yet I'm watching this and the insecurity, even on the people that are running these programs, is growing bigger and bigger.
But how do we address the food insecurity right now?
Because a lot of people don't want to accept this reality that is happening in America.
Well, the word I would use is responsibility.
You know, where does this responsibility lie and who's going to take responsibility?
The administration, it's obvious those, you know, talk about those, they're cut.
Hey, somebody, we've showed up.
We're going to take responsibility.
We're going to try to straighten this out.
So in the meantime, for so many of these things, where does the responsibility lie?
It relies with us individually to ask these questions of ourselves, of our own family.
We have to make that decision and say, hey, what do I need to do to secure my future?
What do I need to do to secure my family's food supply?
Because, you know, this idea that money is, you know, food banks will always be there, food will always be there, supply chain's always there.
It's not necessarily a given.
That's right.
You know, what are the potential consequences of a food supply chain issue?
We've seen that through the pandemic that we just faced where there was a supply chain issue, but we could see it again because, Mondo, there's the avian bird flu that seems to be popping up.
People are saying that the global food supply chain there is going to be affected again.
But what are the consequences?
Because we can hear words all day long.
But if we don't understand consequences, then we don't really put action to it.
Well, you mentioned that in our minds, it's hard for us to comprehend.
We have something called normalcy bias.
We think America is always going to be like this or X or whatever and what have you.
I was on the broadcast, I don't know when it was.
It was last year sometime.
And I told everybody, I said, the price of eggs is going to go to a dollar.
You're going to see an egg cost a dollar.
And that's what it just hit in parts of America.
It just costs a dollar.
I'm not a prophet.
I'm telling you this because I could see the supply chain.
I could see what's going on behind the scenes.
America before COVID had a pretty robust supply chain.
And most of the country, they just see what's going on.
They go to Walmart, food's there, or it's not there.
They don't understand supply chain.
COVID started to wake people's perception up to, wait a minute, there's something, this isn't just a given that it's going to naturally appear here, whatever.
Our foods, our supply chain used to be robust.
It used to be like a big rubber band.
Well, COVID threaded it, thread that rubber band, and now it's thin.
It doesn't stretch out.
It doesn't snap back.
And our supply chain, you know, maybe my whole life, maybe when I was young, maybe in the 70s with oil or what have you, our supply chain is as weak as it's been certainly my whole life.
You know, Mondo, with the supply chain being as weak as it's ever been, we see areas, and you grew up in East LA.
Let's just talk about that for a second.
You saw a lot of people, especially growing up, they were on government assistance.
They needed that food.
They needed the things to be able to survive.
With the supply chain issue going down, obviously, you know, they will tarry to take care of everyone as they can.
But did you see in your lifetime growing up where people needed and the government wasn't able to provide?
100%.
I think we don't realize that we run out of food in America.
And only areas where they can deliver a ration portion of food, it's going to be available for you.
Now, in America, being a first world nation to see that, it's impossible to comprehend.
Los Angeles, California is a representation of what happens when bad politics enters the realm of society.
And the Democratic Party, for example, has been one of those that has dictated this type of programs.
Now they make you feel like you're codependent on this program and never really give you an outlet to get out of it.
Well, what happens just in Los Angeles, California?
We have over 15 million people there.
And out of 15 million people, 1% is rich.
What do you do with the rest of it?
Now, fast forward to where we are in America today.
The city that you came from, Phoenix, Arizona, has one of the lowest poverty areas in America, meaning it's the worst in America.
How can this be?
How can we allow a nation like this nation run out of food?
How can we?
I mean, we just can't, right?
I mean, you would think that you can't.
The supply chain, the corporations, the government policies, you mentioned the demo, you know, let's be honest.
I mean, it's mostly democratic policies that are forcing this dependency.
You said that you feel like codependent.
You know, you don't feel codependent.
You are codependent.
And all this network and all this artificial situation has grown up.
Now we're to the point in our country when the supply chain has been hit.
COVID has changed things.
You have conflicts going on all over the world.
You have Ukraine.
You know, people don't even understand the impact that Ukraine has on agriculture.
When you have all those pressures coming from all over the world, these socialistic, these ideas, these concepts that used to keep things okay, they don't work anymore.
And that's where we are.
It doesn't work.
It doesn't work.
And nobody thinks about storing food.
I mean, this is what's amazing to me that growing up, you always thought about storing food because grandma told you to store food.
And you always depended on grandma and grandpa telling you, make sure you store up some food.
Make sure you have enough food for yourself.
Make sure that if anything happens, you have enough water.
Why?
Because in Los Angeles, you have to deal with the idea of earthquakes.
So you have to have preparation in mind no matter what you're doing throughout the day, because at any moment, the big one can come.
Today, we don't think about preparation.
My grandmother told me the same thing.
My grandfather, both of them.
grew up in the depression.
Why did they tell me that?
Why did your grandmother tell me?
You know why they told me that?
I know I can speak for my grandparents.
My grandparents told me that because they knew what it was like not to have food.
That's it.
And it's that simple.
They knew.
It wasn't, well, you know, hey, you know, no, they knew what it was like.
I think I told a story about my grandfather.
They were so poor.
There was three children.
My great-grandfather died.
He was in World War I.
He died.
And my grandfather, they had to ship one of their youngest sister away because they did not have food to feed her.
They'd ship her to a relative that could feed her.
That's how, so when they would say these things to me, it wasn't from speculation.
It was from experience.
And do we think that, you know, we're so much better, we're so much more righteous today than we were, you know, this is almost 100 years ago now.
Do we think America is so much that we just, this can't happen to us?
No.
I mean, come on.
That's why my grandmother and grandfather would say those things to me, to you, whatever.
And that's why we need to take it serious today.
And I think that's why this ministry relies on giving you the information to keep reminding you to be prepared, to store food away, to store water away.
I mean, just last night, I got an email that my water is going to be off for the rest of the week.
Well, I didn't panic because I've been storing water so the kids can brush their teeth and just get us by, right?
It's not a life-changing event, but it is a life-changing event when every day you're dependent on water.
But when you get an email and says, you're not going to have water for the rest of the week, it's going to be several days before you get it.
And my whole neighborhood is panicking and all that.
But I'm at peace because I have water.
I have water to cook.
I got water.
And I know that that peace of mind is not going to disrupt my stress levels, but it's going to bring comfort to my wife and my kids.
We don't think of little incidents like that because you know what happens?
Your brain goes to the extreme always.
Oh, if a volcano goes off, yeah, someday it will.
But my volcano is getting a letter from the water department and saying you're not going to have water this week.
That's my volcano.
I think it's perspective, right?
Absolutely.
Help us understand the perspective on why your family, why are you so dedicated on not only having water, but providing essential foods that we can eat every day.
Let me try to put a little spiritual spit on kind of our perspective.
There's a scripture in Revelation that says, come out of her, my people, that you don't partake of their sins and the indignation.
We're called to be different.
We're called to be independent.
We're called to have a kingdom.
I mean, that's the ethic.
That's the moral.
When we started this company, my family and I, my wife's been on the broadcast.
You've seen some of my children.
We want to be independent.
That's right.
And so if you're going to pull out, if you're going to pull away from Babylon, what does that mean?
That means you're not dependent on Babylon.
You know, God says, be in the world, not of the world.
Okay.
Well, don't be of the world.
Don't be of the world.
Don't be dependent on the water company.
Your life doesn't depend on Babylon.
And so to do that, you have to have some level of independence and some plan within yourself and some reliance to do that.
So that's the ethic.
That's the moral.
And this water that we have here, I love this storable water, water filters.
Okay, one of the biggest problems to store water is anybody knows they can get a plastic jug and they can store water and it'll last six months to a year.
And then what happens?
It starts turning green.
Everybody knows that.
Who's ever done that?
Why does it turn green?
Because there's some sort of bacteria.
So if there's one particle of bacteria in this bottle, over a year, two years, it'll just multiply.
And pretty soon it'll be 40 million, 100 million, a billion.
And pretty soon it'll be unusable.
So the hang up to have water store a long time has always been, can you have high quality water?
Can you take out all the bacteria so there's no bacteria and have a resilient long-term storage container in it?
And that's what we've done here with the Ready H2O, that it can store long, has no bacteria, and it will last really indefinitely because there's no bacteria.
Zero times zero times zero is still zero, whether it's today or five years.
I passed that part.
We had that part down.
So this is a good way to store water.
You can have filters where you can take any kind of water, muddy water, whatever, and that kind of emergency.
But to have a little extra water in case you need to make food, case the power, you got a letter from the water department.
Water Relief Efforts 00:05:08
You still have water and comes in one liter size, non-leeching, military grade plastic, kind of like the canteens, not kind of like the military uses for their canteens.
See, I believe everyone can make a difference as we see what's happening in the Carolinas right now, the wildfires and homes are being burnt to the ground and people are displaced.
You know, a lot of people expect other people to do the job.
That's mind-blowing to me because we can do ourselves, be a part of the solution.
And when I think about the water is one of the number one things that people rely on.
But can you imagine getting water bottles that the sun has been hitting all day and they're leeched and by the time you drink it, it tastes like, I mean, I don't even want to say it, but I opened up this and look at this water.
It's clear.
It's not green.
It is clear.
And I want to tell you something.
Can I try it?
Let's do it.
I think I might open it.
Wow.
That's really good water.
It's not green.
But what I'm trying to tell you is that we can all send a box of water to the disaster zones, Ricky.
And this ministry has been partnering with Numana.
And we asked you guys if you guys had water.
We were asking.
And here you showed up with this beautiful H2O water emergency drinking water that you can store it up to 20 years.
You can store this water.
This is something that you need to have in your home.
Your church needs to have cases of this.
Can you provide cases, even maybe even semis worth of water?
Absolutely.
We've actually started some preliminary introductions with members of the administration.
We'll see where they go.
But you mentioned Carolina.
Carolina needs this.
And there should be places among the country where there's storehouses of this where they could just pump them out.
See, but that doesn't exist.
What is there is the church.
And the stability has always been the church in our country.
And so the churches should be prepared individually.
There's no reason you shouldn't have a case or two of this water.
Just to be safe.
Why wouldn't you?
What do you have to lose?
That's right.
And if you're thinking in your mind, oh, I don't need to order.
I don't need to get this.
Ask yourself if you lived in North Carolina, what they would think, what they would say a year ago, what they would, you know, if you offer this, if they could go back in time, they wouldn't buy one case, believe me.
What if, Ricky, they partner with us?
Maybe you don't need the water, but we would deliver it.
Well, let me rephrase that.
This man would deliver it for you.
If you go through the website right now, what if we send hundreds of thousands of water right now to the Carolinas?
Let's see.
You order, call the number right now, 1-888-988-1588, and order cases of water.
And Daniel, his company, New Mana, will make sure that this water gets delivered to our brothers and sisters in the Carolinas right now.
Or if you decide, if you know somewhere that they need water right now, and maybe you can't take it yourself, maybe you don't have the storage room to have this water, but we want it.
We want to do it with you.
A lot of times, people don't see the big picture, meaning they think that they have to do it.
No, let us do it for you.
How about that?
That's right.
We're part of a church.
Absolutely.
You can send it directly to churches, can't you?
Absolutely.
Well, I'll tell you what we'll do.
We'll put a little highlight flash something on the website.
So when they go to the website, this is by the time you see this, we'll have something up there.
So the call to action that you just made will have something flashing or in the front or whatever so that people can then do what you're saying.
If you know it is, say you have, say you have relatives that live in North Carolina, you know they need this.
You can just get a form, put their address in.
We'll ship it right to them.
If you know a church there, if you are a church and you want some whatever, any way you want to help, we'll facilitate that and we'll be part of making that a blessing for the whole situation.
Wow.
Let's do it.
You know, I want to go, if you don't mind going over there, Daniel, I want to talk about the different offerings you have.
And there's some new things that you want to talk about as well.
But if you want to go over there and just kind of walk people through, I know some people, if they've watched the program, they know what it is, but we have a lot of new viewers actually.
Kind of explain what each one of these are, why you created them the way that you did.
And let's talk about the different product offerings you have.
What do you got?
You got a stepladder here?
That was for me.
You just called them out.
You need the step ladder.
Mondo had to be the same height as you did.
Listen, I'll show you what happened.
Look how I look next to this guy.
Can you show a pic?
Look.
Now, let me show you.
How tall it is with the step.
Defender Nutritive Packs 00:08:46
Yeah, we did it so we could see Mondo.
How tall are you, Daniel?
Are you six foot six?
I'm five foot eighteen.
Yeah, yeah, that's right.
Yeah, believe that.
You're five foot, right?
We're about the same.
Yeah, exactly.
Yeah, yeah, five foot from me.
Yeah, yeah.
Anyway, no steps, no stair step.
We'll go through it.
Let's see.
We have different buckets here.
Now, one of the things, this is a grab and go.
So we have different sizes.
Over here, we have a go bag.
Now, this is about a hundred dollar price point.
And let's call it.
Okay, we just to be honest, I'll be sure.
So why'd you do this?
Why did you do the go bag?
Well, look, look how easy it is.
If you have young children in school, this is something that they use for school.
It's simple.
This is an organic cotton.
It's really durable for whatever.
It's just easier.
You're going camping, emergency, whatever.
Boom.
I got it.
I can put it around my, you know, whatever.
I'm ready to go.
Just really simple.
Just another price point for people to get involved in it.
Something introductory.
It's easy to store, easy to send, easy as a gift.
Then from there, we got a grab and go a little bigger.
And one of these is a family pack.
I think this is a, we have a, this is a no-gluten family pack.
That's one of the big things when we started, people were asking us about, well, what if I can't eat gluten?
You know, what if I can't eat wheat or whatever?
You know, nobody, there wasn't, there were, when we did it, and there weren't that many people even had this option.
So we listened to people and we did that.
Then we have the, this is another no gluten.
This is a defender nutritive pack here.
So it has the same great meals, and it also has superfoods in it, like chia seeds.
It has sprouting seeds.
So one of the drawbacks of this type of food, the stores, is how do I get live nutrition?
So we wanted a more holistic approach for storing food that in this bucket, you can have these sprouting seeds.
You can sprout them.
A seed is a miracle.
It doesn't, even scientifically, it doesn't even make sense.
You can take a seed, like a mung bean or whatever zucchi we have in here, and you sprout it with a little bit of water, and the water plus the seed does not equal the amount of nutrition that you get in it.
It's infinitely time, not infinitely, but multiplied times of the nutrition, and it's live nutrition, live micronutrition.
So we also have, there's a family pack, which is the regular, it has gluten in it, not the no-gluten for people either way that don't want it.
I'm not quite sure what's up there.
We have an organic family pack right now.
Now, why'd you do this?
So people might be wondering, what's the point of the organic?
What's the point of the gluten-friendly ones?
What's the point of the Defender?
Why did you have different varieties, not just one bucket that's one option so that people, you know, just have the great question.
Well, if you were celiac or you couldn't eat or you had, you struggled with gluten, then you wouldn't have to ask that question, right?
If you have a child, then you know, hey, my child can't have this.
I don't want to be in an emergency or can't feed him.
Yeah, now I can't feed him.
Now I have a health crisis.
So we made different things.
We also wanted to really up the quality and the standard in the industry.
And that's why we did the organic.
We were the first company to come out with an organic, the same type of meals, but they're organic.
That recipe there for the organic, you added organic Italian pasta with marinara, organic black chia seeds, organic sweet habanero chili, organic mac and cheese, organic pancake mix, organic quinoa.
I'm sure it's good.
It's good.
That's close.
But you tell us about the recipes and how important those recipes were to put in something like this together that are essential items that we can start using, not just for emergencies, but for everyday use.
Absolutely.
It becomes the everyday food.
And that was important to us too.
I'm a bigger guy.
I like to eat, right?
And in emergencies, if you study what happens all across the world, if you don't have food that you like, after a while, people think, oh, if I'm starving, I'll eat anything.
Yes, that's true.
But very quickly, you won't eat just anything.
And you start to have taste exhaustion and you start to have that kind of problem.
So part of the, or one of the biggest hurdles you must get over to endure an emergency is try to make life as normal as possible.
And so, you know, most people like Italian pasta.
Most people like chili.
So we wanted to give them something, hey, this is just, this could be tomorrow night.
Yeah.
Or this could be, I could be right in the middle of a 20-day emergency.
Right.
And I feel this the same.
Yeah.
And they don't understand food-wise what that does for their psyche, what that does for their family, how that comforts them.
And that's why this was really important.
And it's getting high-level nutrition because in an emergency, you need more nutrition, not less nutrition.
You know what?
I want to ask you a question about the fruit and vegetable buckets.
And, you know, hopefully I don't throw you off on the spot, but a lot of people probably put like high fructose corn syrup, they put GMOs, things like that.
Do you have anything like that inside of your fruit and vegetables?
No, we don't.
We don't.
We don't want no, we have zero high fructose corn syrup, zero stuff of what you said.
There's the fruit and veggie buy.
There may be some down here too.
I think they're right there.
On the screen so they can see it.
Yep.
Okay.
They're on the screen.
Now we have a special going.
You can go to the website, jimbakershow.com, the Numana link.
You can go right there.
You can order a triple pack of anything.
So you can order a triple pack of the no-gluten, a triple pack of the Graham-Go, a triple of the go bag, and we'll give you your choice, either fruit and veggie buckets, a great special going on.
So you'll see.
That's incredible, Hammond.
And those fruit and vegetables.
So you order three and you get a bonus for free.
Right.
So you order like three.
Say that again.
That rhymes.
Right.
Say that again.
That rhymes.
I like that.
You order three and get a bonus for free.
We're going to have to put that on the website.
That's what I'm saying.
That's what I'm saying.
That's good.
That's pretty good.
Yeah, you're done.
You're hired.
That's fantastic.
That's an incredible.
That's an incredible offer.
Why'd you do that?
I mean, you don't have to do that.
That's not something that, you know, you definitely don't make money off giving anything away for free.
So what's the point?
We want people to be prepared.
One, two, you know, it's relatively new that we've done these fruit and veggie buckets.
We think they're great.
We think the quality of them is fantastic.
We want to introduce them to people.
And people need fruit.
Again, we want in an emergency, whether that emergency is, hey, I lost my job.
Hey, I'm in a hurricane.
Hey, whatever it is, it doesn't matter.
Hey, the volcano goes off.
I mean, whatever.
We want you to feel as normal and possible and to be sustained as much as possible.
We also have specials of packs.
So we have water.
We have cases.
We don't have what a case looks like, but these waters, you put them in, it's a case of water.
So you get a case of water.
So if you bought a bucket and a case of water, you're going to get a discount too.
So you can combine them.
So then you got enough water to make the food.
If you had no water at all, you can still make the food or water just to drink so you can have.
So it's a good combination.
It's just, it's just so important that you have water.
And they're ready to go.
Boom.
The moment they call, the moment you call, this is going to be shipped wherever you want it.
If you want to ship to your home, you want to ship to your church.
You want to ship to wherever you need it to be shipped.
They're ready to be shipped.
Yes, we are ready.
Oh, wow.
Okay.
So let's do this.
When you order a triple pack, you get a free bonus of the fruit or vegetable bucket.
That is an unbelievable.
I've never seen you do this before.
No, no.
Thank you.
Yeah, you're very good.
Thank you for doing this.
And if you buy the bottle waters and the bucket combo, you're going to get a great percentage discount.
So call the number on the screen right now.
I'm making double sure that you get what we're talking about because we've never, listen, if we could, we will give it away to you.
But all the proceeds that you're donating today to get the food items is helping this program to stay on the air and to help us continue to preach the gospel around the world.
Call the number right now, 1-888-988-1588, or visit the website, jimbakershow.com.
And you know what?
Start getting your pantry ready and start blessing people because this offers, thank you so much for making this happen for our partners and our viewers today.
Absolutely.
Daniel, how are these ingredients sourced?
We only have a few minutes left in the broadcast.
Probably to take your time and tell us, how do you source these ingredients?
Well, when we started, you know, we've been in the business about 14 years, started about 14 years ago.
Best Spices: Feel Prompted 00:06:42
And I'll be frank with everybody, and this helps you understand kind of the process.
It was a lot easier to get supplies 14 years ago.
It was a lot easier to get ingredients.
Even when we came up with the organic bucket about maybe eight years ago or eight or nine years ago, it was difficult because it hasn't been done.
It wasn't difficult because it wasn't available, if that makes sense.
Now, so one of our key things we want to start with, we don't want anything from China.
So at all costs, whatever, you know, nothing from China.
That's the last resort.
We don't even want to go there.
So we try to say North America, definitely America.
A lot of the spices, you know, the best spices in the world probably come from, if I had to say it's probably South America.
South and Central America are probably the best spices in the world.
So a lot of the spices come from there.
Generally, most everything else, the major components come from the United States.
Wow.
That's right.
Wow.
You know, Mondo, to know that things are ethically sourced as well.
You're getting good food, but you're getting nutrition-dense food.
That's why you did this.
Can churches call you?
Absolutely.
I know there have been churches, not just here in the United States, but there have been churches in other countries.
Can a church call you and say, hey, we need not just, you know, a few buckets for our church.
We have a big congregation, a little congregation.
We want to make sure everyone in our church and their families are prepared.
What would be the best way of going about getting a large broke order to a church?
The best, if you're listening now, it's hard.
Sometimes it's hard for churches.
They need to almost hear from their people.
If you're listening and you go to a church and you got to pre, you should go.
I would encourage you, if this is important to you, go to the leaders of your church and say, hey, why don't we do this?
Yes.
And help facilitate this and kind of get it on their mind.
That's what I've noticed as we've reached out.
The churches, if it's pushed from within, they're a lot more receptive.
Then they call us and we're going to work out a special deal on the churches.
So you got a big church and we're going to put something together.
We're open to what your needs are, what you want, and we can make it happen for you that way.
That's right.
You know, if you haven't started preparing, now is the best time to do it, not just physically, but spiritually also.
You know, we no longer have time for sitting on the fence, do we, Daniel?
I mean, we've seen a lot of people say, well, I'll do it tomorrow.
I'll do it tomorrow.
I'll do it another day.
But sometimes another day is right now is today and you haven't started preparing.
What would you say to someone maybe sitting on the fence right now on the physical aspect of saying, you know, I'll do it tomorrow?
There's an attitude that I've seen over the years that, well, I'll just buy it when I need it.
And it's just not, it's not realistic.
It's not real life.
Not only in COVID, you know, we couldn't get supply.
It was gone like that.
Yeah.
Like, I mean, literally like that.
In an emergency and what we're talking about, you're not going to have the ability.
When you feel prompted, what I would encourage people, you feel prompted, this makes sense to you.
It's a no-lose investment.
So why would you wait to make it when you know you can make it now?
Amen.
Because you don't know what the future is going to hold or what forces are on you.
You can make the decision now.
Why wouldn't you make it?
That's what I would say.
Why wouldn't you?
Amen.
No Mondo, there's people who are maybe on the fence right now spiritually.
They're saying, you know, I haven't really given my life to the Lord.
I've been walking in any way that I want to.
What would you say to them if they're saying, you know, maybe today's the day I need to give my life to Jesus?
You know, he loves you.
And if you're tired, you're weary, and you're trying to figure out what happened in your life, I can tell you that no matter who you go to and what you try to research, nothing is going to make any sense.
You know that God has been knocking at your door today.
People have been praying for you.
You have that intuition in you to know that I need to change my life.
And today is a good day to do that.
And I want to tell you this.
And I know this scripture.
You've heard it millions of times.
For God so loved the world that he sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for you.
And I want to tell you something.
That scripture, John 3, 16, is resonating in your heart today.
And he wants to give you rest.
When you give your life to him, when you trust him, you will believe with your heart that, you know what?
You are that valuable.
You are important.
Stop running from God today.
Trust him.
Have the faith to believe that things will turn around for you for the best.
The Bible says, for I know the plans I have for you, says the Lord.
Plans for you to succeed and not fail.
Stop failing today.
Trust the Lord.
Accept him in your heart.
Join a church that will teach you the word and disciple you and watch what God can do through your life to change the world.
Love him today.
Friends, if you haven't given your life to Jesus, there's never been a better day.
There's not going to be someday.
It's two days.
We want to call, or we want you to call.
We want you to walk you through that prayer.
It's a salvation prayer.
It's very, very simple, friends.
It actually is the most freeing thing you'll ever do.
Making your will subservient to his will is the most freeing thing you will ever do.
Because you're saying, I'm going to take myself off the throne of my heart and I'm going to let Jesus sit there.
Friends, life is so much sweeter.
Life is so much better when he's in full control, whenever he has full reign.
You know, when you're riding a horse, you hold on to the reins.
And sometimes you can see, you know, when you have a buggy too, you have one guy and he's steering the reins.
I'm going to let Jesus take the reins.
I'm just going to sit next to him and enjoy the ride.
It makes life so much easier, so much sweeter.
Friends, we want you to have the relationship with Jesus Christ because when everything's said and done, when this all comes to an end one day, and it will, all of this will come to an end, whether it's your personal life or whether it's the world, like the book of Revelation says.
Friends, the only thing that will matter is: do you know Jesus and does Jesus know you?
We want him to know you and we want you to have a good relationship with him during this time.
Call that number again.
It's 1-888-988-1588 or go to jimbakershow.com.
We want you and your church to be prepared.
We want you to have peace of mind for any emergency to know, yes, we are ready for anything that the world may throw at us.
Friends, I want you to remember that God loves you.
He really was.
He really does.
Daniel, I want to thank you for being on the broadcast with us today.
We'll get back into this.
We're going to talk more about your book, Forever 1776, on our next broadcast.
You're not going to want to miss that.
Maybe if you need to go back on our video on demand, you can do that on the PTL television app.
Peace Of Mind Works 00:01:18
And you can see it on Amazon.
You can see it on Roku and you can see it on Apple TV.
We want to say thank you for watching and we love you guys.
God bless you.
Amen.
Yeah.
What happens when that fragile infrastructure doesn't work anymore?
And the answer is: if you're not prepared, well, you're going to be in trouble.
We have the ability to do something, right?
That's the foundation for Lion Energy.
Mondo looks like he's cooking up something.
I am.
Everywhere there's food, that's where you're going to find it.
We want to show you how easy peace of mind works.
Not only cooking items, but you have, you know, also items that you have in your garage in the blower.
Good work again.
Come on. Come on.
That's pretty powerful.
Listen, but we want you to go to our website.
It's jimbakershow.com.
Click on the affiliate link with Lion Energy.
They have pre-built packages and awesome, awesome deals there.
But you can also add additional items.
You can build your own kits there.
So I want you to go there.
Remember to also call that toll-free number if you need help.
