Bible Warns of Global Security Threats
00:02:56
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the Village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Join us as we examine global current events through a biblical worldview and uncover connections to end time prophecies. | |
| Our guest today is security and preparation expert Darren Parker. | |
| Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo De La Vega. | |
| And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, you're watching Jim Baker's PTL Television Network. | |
| We're glad you tuned in with us today, friends. | |
| We have an important episode. | |
| Today, we're going to be talking about some national security things that are happening around the globe from a biblical perspective. | |
| I know if you turn on any news site, you know, if you're watching Fox, CNN, we'll be praying for you if you're watching CNN. | |
| If you're watching Fox, MSNBC, CNN, whatever it is, you're not going to get away from the news story right now that there are drones flying over America. | |
| And our government, they say that they don't know entirely what it's for. | |
| We had L.A. Marzuli on the show with us just a few days ago. | |
| If you haven't seen that episode with L.A. Marzuli, go on video on demand. | |
| Please watch that. | |
| It's an important episode. | |
| Mondo, he's been doing this work for, what, three decades now? | |
| At least. | |
| At least three decades. | |
| And he says, hey, I have a pretty good suggestion on what it is. | |
| And he believes that they're looking for a nuclear dirty bomb. | |
| Yeah, I think we have to be careful as Christians not to land in the conspiracy theories of what a lot of people are talking about. | |
| Yet you have to go back and look at the facts and see what the facts are telling you. | |
| There's a lot of things that the government are not telling us, yet don't fall into that trap. | |
| You know, the Bible warns us about deception. | |
| And it doesn't mean just deception on what other people are going to bring, but deception on what you can cause because of your own theory about what you think. | |
| Let's get this straight. | |
| What does the Bible say? | |
| How about that? | |
| What does the Bible warns us about? | |
| Because when you read the times and the seasons, it can keep you from being deceived or it can keep you from you being deceptive on what you think of what you're seeing. | |
| Yeah, unintentionally. | |
| You have to go back to the Bible and see what the warning signs are for today, Ricky, because a lot of prophets have been warning. | |
| Then God brings watchmen on the walls. | |
| People like Bob Jones prophesied. | |
| And maybe if I have a little time later, I'll show you what a lot of men of God and women of God have seen about what's taking place right now. | |
|
Lot Training and Drone Safety
00:03:09
|
|
| Amen. | |
| We need to do that. | |
| Today we have with us today our national security expert and preparedness expert. | |
| It's our good friend Darren Parker. | |
| I want to thank you for being on with us today. | |
| Darren, give people some background for people who may not know who you are. | |
| What did you do before you kind of settled down in life? | |
| What did you do for your career? | |
| I don't know if I've settled down any, but it seems like, yeah, it seems like after I retired, I got more busier. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Anyway, and my wife and I, we always talk about how did we get anything done when we've had full-time jobs. | |
| So I was in the military and then I was in civilian law enforcement. | |
| And I'm actually still in as a reserve and I still stay active and current. | |
| So those kind of things. | |
| Training, we do a lot of training, law enforcement, civilian firearms. | |
| We do a lot of training and then we do security also. | |
| Amen. | |
| You were the chief of police for a town in Missouri here, correct? | |
| So I want to ask you this question then. | |
| We're just going to get back to the subject of the drones flying over. | |
| Darren, let's say if you're in your city, you're the chief of police there, and all of a sudden you see drones that nobody is able to identify flying over neighborhoods. | |
| What's your first thought? | |
| So I'm going to want to know, I got to have some information. | |
| You got to know what's going on. | |
| How you protect if there's a possible threat if you don't know what's happening. | |
| So you need to get information. | |
| Now, you just can't go shoot things down. | |
| A lot of civilians say, oh, I'm not going to shoot down. | |
| That's the Midwest style of doing things. | |
| Actually, it's illegal to shoot down a drone. | |
| And here we're having two. | |
| We're having, especially, I think in New Jersey and other areas. | |
| Civilians, because they're not getting the information that they're asking for, they're not getting told what's going on. | |
| And look, we can handle it. | |
| Why does the government think that the American citizens aren't intelligent enough to handle the truth? | |
| It's amazing to me. | |
| But they're going out and they're shooting lasers or they're lasering these things. | |
| And you don't need to do that because they're hitting airplanes, too. | |
| And you don't need to do that. | |
| So if you're talking to anyone out there that maybe sees a drone above their house, you're telling them some things they shouldn't do. | |
| Don't go shooting it down. | |
| Don't point lasers at it. | |
| Don't do those kind of things. | |
| But as far as the drone thing goes, we talked about this back a few days ago. | |
| You came to the office and asked me about it. | |
| And I told you what I had heard at the time. | |
| I think it was Benny Johnson. | |
| I don't know if I can say that. | |
| He has a podcast, and I think he put out that they were possibly looking for radioactive material. | |
| And so that's what was going around. | |
| And then you had said, which I think it'll end up being a part of it, but you had said that they're using this to get us used to policing with drones. | |
| That's right. | |
| And I believe that's, I don't know if that's their initial intent. | |
|
Dirty Nukes Passed
00:14:20
|
|
| But will they capitalize? | |
| Oh, absolutely. | |
| Because if you think about it, how does laws get passed in the United States? | |
| Typically with fear. | |
| No, they do it. | |
| This is how they do it. | |
| They say, we're going to pass it for your safety. | |
| We're going to do this for your safety. | |
| This is how they get everything passed. | |
| We need gun control for your safety. | |
| All the things that they, it's for our safety. | |
| Here, I'll help you out. | |
| I don't want you doing anything for my safety. | |
| I'll take care of myself. | |
| You just make sure the United States is safe. | |
| Amen. | |
| Yeah, when our southern border is wide open, it's ironic that they're chirping safety at the American border. | |
| Well, when you go back and study the terrorism that has happened from within since 9-11 has changed everything. | |
| And top of that, you have to throw in technology on how military and local police are going to use that. | |
| When you have over 10 million people coming across this border, we don't know who they are. | |
| We don't know what their intentions are. | |
| Yet Homeland Security understands, the FBI understands that there has been pieces of radioactive technology and material that has been brought in in pieces in order to attack America from within. | |
| Yeah, listen. | |
| They're calling it a suitcase bomb, like a nuclear weapon. | |
| Okay. | |
| What did you call it? | |
| They're calling it a suitcase bomb. | |
| All right. | |
| Prophecy. | |
| Do you love prophecy? | |
| How many people love prophecy? | |
| I believe they're watching this show. | |
| They love propaganda. | |
| If you love this show, I know you love prophecy. | |
| And I'm not a prophet. | |
| Everybody say amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| I said it under my breath. | |
| Amen. | |
| You said it very loud. | |
| I don't know if that's a compliment. | |
| No. | |
| I'm not a prophet. | |
| I'm a student of the word. | |
| I've been walking with Pastor Jim Baker, your friend or father, for 26 years, a man that has been called to be a watchman on the wall. | |
| So that makes me a watcher as well. | |
| That's right. | |
| Right? | |
| Now, there's a difference. | |
| One of these days, we're going to spend time understanding the long-range watcher, the mid-range watcher, and the short-range watcher. | |
| There's a difference between the three, yet they're all watchers. | |
| The long-range watcher is more experienced. | |
| They understand what they see from afar. | |
| The mid-range starts identifying. | |
| Their short range solidifies. | |
| Okay, that's another teaching, but we're going to get there one day because it's so important to what is happening right now. | |
| But let's go back to what you said about what? | |
| Suitcase. | |
| Yeah, they're calling a suitcase bomb or dirty bomb. | |
| Bob Jones prophesied. | |
| Can I read it to you? | |
| You know who Bob Jones is? | |
| It's a late prophet. | |
| He's gone to be with the Lord. | |
| That's right. | |
| Very respected prophet. | |
| This is what he said. | |
| Expect a devastating earthquake and terrorism attacks with nuclear suitcase bombs. | |
| Wow, is there a date on that? | |
| Do you know when we probably, I mean, that would have been early, early 2000s, I believe. | |
| This is probably, I want to say early 2000s. | |
| We'll get a date. | |
| We'll throw it up on the story. | |
| We'll start a date in just a moment. | |
| 1997. | |
| Man, so 27 years ago, this is, I mean, we had before 9-11. | |
| All right, let me give you another one. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker prophesied this, part of his 31 Things in 1999. | |
| I believe, in fact, I saw in a vision there's already at least one major nuclear weapon being assembled inside the United States. | |
| It was brought in piece by piece. | |
| Terrorists will use germ warfare against civilians and soldiers alike. | |
| And again, I don't want to go on and on, but he believes that they're in suitcases in the size of basketball. | |
| Again, let me give you a third one. | |
| A few days ago, you mentioned L.A. Marzuli. | |
| That's right. | |
| L.A. Marzuli, and I don't want to misquote him, but he pretty much said that there are suitcase type of bombs that have already been assembled here in the United States. | |
| Well, let's take one minute. | |
| We'll watch that clip from L.A. Marzuli. | |
| We'll throw it in just so you guys can see exactly what he's saying. | |
| I wrote a book called Politics Prophecy and the Supernatural. | |
| It's right now it's out of print. | |
| We're working on the second edition, but I digress. | |
| That came out in 2007. | |
| One of the scenarios I posited was this. | |
| At the collapse of the former, and this is a matter of historical record. | |
| This is not speculation or conjecture. | |
| At the close, basically the demise of the former Soviet Union, dirty nukes were sold on the black market. | |
| What is a dirty nuke? | |
| A suitcase nuke. | |
| Where at one time it was a nuclear bomb with the whole Hiroshima cloud, the whole nine yards, but they don't have the launch keys, but it's very radioactive. | |
| So you sell this on the black market to terrorists. | |
| They buy this thing. | |
| They slap some C4 on the side of it, explode it anywhere, and you basically have a miniature noble on your hands. | |
| In other words, here's a scenario. | |
| Let's say that you would take the confetti, I love it. | |
| Let's say you would take one of these suitcase nukes and park it near the New York Stock Exchange, God forbid, and you would explode it. | |
| Well, you've irradiated that entire area. | |
| You've just closed down the New York Stock Exchange as we know it. | |
| So all these suitcase nukes may have been brought in, may underline the word May, through a very porous border in the 90s and the 2000s. | |
| There's no doubt about that. | |
| That's a matter of documentation. | |
| So what we may be looking at is the fact that we have been threatened. | |
| The government knows exactly what's going on. | |
| And the fact that there's no attack helicopter shooting these things down or just being deployed tells me as an independent researcher that our government knows exactly what is going on. | |
| But here's the deal. | |
| They don't want to alarm the public. | |
| This is where the conjecture comes in. | |
| So the scenario is this. | |
| Let's say there are dirty nukes, suitcase nukes, which were brought in in the late 90s into this country. | |
| They are laying in secured areas. | |
| The terrorists know where they are. | |
| Somehow, either we have been threatened or someone, a whistleblower, has come on and said, they're ready to detonate these things. | |
| You got to find them. | |
| Well, where are they? | |
| Well, we don't know, but we think they're on the eastern seaboard. | |
| So then they have our drones flying over. | |
| These drones are what they call sniffers. | |
| What I mean by that, they are looking for spikes in the background radiation. | |
| That's what they're looking for. | |
| That's how you can find them. | |
| Because even though it's in a suitcase nuke, it's still giving off radiation. | |
| And there will be a spike in that. | |
| And that's what I think these things are. | |
| Otherwise, they'd be shot out of the ground. | |
| So we have three men of God. | |
| Obviously, one that has gone home to be with the Lord, Bob Jones. | |
| There's a Bob Jones Prayer Center in North Carolina, actually, Morningstar. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker, obviously still alive with us, still a Watchman on the Wall, and L.A. Marzuli, truly a prophet, truly a watchman on the wall. | |
| He's been talking about this for three decades. | |
| They're all saying the exact same thing. | |
| America, we are going to wake up to a different nation with some major events that are developing and are going to develop more in 2025. | |
| That's right. | |
| So, yes, I got to say this, especially after we talked earlier. | |
| Hey, bring that. | |
| He was all hyped up. | |
| In the office, I'm all jacked up. | |
| Anyway, so listen, this is how it comes to pass. | |
| You have the United States with an open border. | |
| Listen, any kind of intelligence agencies out there of other countries, if you were to ask them, what's the biggest thing that would benefit your country to go in and pull intel on other countries to benefit your country? | |
| What would the biggest thing that you would want to see done or the easiest thing for you to do? | |
| And they would say, get into the other country without them knowing it. | |
| That's right. | |
| And so now we have open borders. | |
| So we have, which is incredible to me, but we have the opportunity for other countries to have intelligence assets in our country without us even knowing about it. | |
| That's right. | |
| Okay. | |
| And so, and you're talking about tens of, I mean, millions of people that we know nothing about. | |
| So how many of those are intelligence agents from other countries? | |
| I would imagine all of our enemies have a lot of officers over here. | |
| And with that, now you have a shipment of nuclear radioactive material in the country, a shipment of it, damaged, and the stuff is missing. | |
| All right. | |
| And then you have a CIA agent come out and say, now be very careful and they talk about conspiracy theories. | |
| And this is the way the left gets the people to shut up. | |
| They start saying conspiracy theories because you don't want to be considered a conspiracy theorist because then you're a nut job. | |
| So now we have missing radioactive material. | |
| They're trying to tie it into cancer research or something like that. | |
| If for one second you would believe any CIA agent, especially after, listen, do you remember back, I think it was like six years ago when Schumer was being interviewed on the news. | |
| And this was after Trump had said something about the CIA or the intelligence community. | |
| Schumer is on the news and he says, I would be careful what you say because the CIA has six ways from Sunday to get back to get back at you. | |
| Think about that. | |
| Six ways from Sunday. | |
| To get even or to get back to you. | |
| Now, wait a minute. | |
| So you're the president of the United States and then you have a senator who says that about an agency. | |
| So we got a rogue agency out there that works on their own and they will go and get even with somebody? | |
| Are you kidding me? | |
| Yet they still want us to trust you. | |
| That's right. | |
| So now believe what we're saying. | |
| It was some cancer, radioactive cancer material, whatever. | |
| Really, I don't trust a thing that CIA has to say or the FBI for that matter. | |
| And it's not all of them because there's field officers, agents that are squared away. | |
| It's the ones that are occupying the higher positions, the ones that are appointed. | |
| And trust me, the liberals aren't, the Democrats aren't going to appoint someone that's squared away or honest or transparent. | |
| They're going to put in somebody that's going to do what they want them to do. | |
| Okay. | |
| So now we have missing radioactive material. | |
| What are we to believe? | |
| The government is telling New Jersey nothing. | |
| Zero. | |
| So you've got mayors, you got the government, you got all those asking questions because they're citizens saying, what is going on? | |
| And they're saying, no, you don't see that. | |
| That's not happening. | |
| Nothing. | |
| Really? | |
| So let's just say for one second, they are looking for radioactive material. | |
| Just for one second. | |
| So say it. | |
| Okay, listen, it's not some foreign assets or some threats. | |
| You lose your wallet, okay? | |
| You lose your keys. | |
| How do you lose nuclear material? | |
| And here's some too. | |
| We know for a fact Russia is shipping, Russia and other countries have shipped things here for agents inside this country. | |
| Well, Eli Marzuli said that. | |
| Elliot Marzuli said that the Soviet Union was smuggling nuclear-type materials across our southern border. | |
| Let me confirm it. | |
| All right, because we've got to be, we got to stay with the facts. | |
| That's right. | |
| For CNN. | |
| This drives me crazy. | |
| All right. | |
| This is according to thegatewaypundit.com. | |
| The U.S. nuclear. | |
| Let me read this again. | |
| The U.S. NRC, the nuclear, how do you say that word? | |
| Regulatory Commission. | |
| There you go. | |
| English is a second language. | |
| Has confirmed that radioactive material was lost in transit earlier this month. | |
| Lost in transit. | |
| How do you lose this? | |
| This is insane. | |
| We have to understand that they are confirming that radioactive material lost in transit. | |
| How do you lose that type of material? | |
| You can't even go into the airport without being harassed. | |
| How do you lose that? | |
| It's easy to lose. | |
| Look, we're giving the government way too much credit. | |
| Well, I think one of the mayors said in New Jersey, well, they said it was not a threat or what. | |
| I mean, because if it was a foreign threat, we would know about it and they would shoot it down or whatever. | |
| Really, you're giving the credit. | |
| They're giving the government way too much credit. | |
| Remember the balloon that flew over a country for how long? | |
| Yeah, they didn't do a thing about that. | |
| It flew over military installation until it hit the eastern seaboard. | |
| And then there were people reporting it in the Midwest, reporting it. | |
| Hey, there's something flying over our farms. | |
| So this is why, all right? | |
| So this person is saying, while looking at the NRC commission alerts, I can confirm. | |
| So it's not a theory anymore. | |
| They are confirming that there is radioactive material that has gone missing on December 2nd, 2024 out of New Jersey. | |
| So Darren, that begs the question then. | |
| Could we be headed for an attack from within America's cities? | |
| 100%. | |
| And this is just one example. | |
| Could this possibly turn into that? | |
| Yeah, it could. | |
| But look at all the things we know nothing about. | |
| They've probably got plans already in place or even operating toward getting accomplished. | |
| I mean, we don't know. | |
| Look, there's just too many people got into the country that we know nothing about. | |
| There's just too many openings for those kinds of attacks to be planned and carried out without us having any knowledge. | |
|
Pay Attention to Your Surroundings
00:05:10
|
|
| So, what do the American people do? | |
| So, we start not sitting there sitting ducks. | |
| You know, what would American, who says, maybe I live in a big city? | |
| What's the best course of action for someone like that? | |
| Well, and this is just, listen, it's, I guess, if for another country to come in and do something or a terrorist organization to come in and do something on American soil, they're not going to pick out an isolated area, a farm. | |
| They're not going to do that. | |
| They're going to pick out the heavily dense populated areas that's going to get the most attention. | |
| We have to, there's two words that I keep hearing in my heart and in my mind is be alert, stay vigilant at all times. | |
| That's everyday practice, anyways. | |
| Be alert and vigilant wherever you go. | |
| Know your surroundings. | |
| Listen, this is the first thing that you taught us in your class. | |
| I got to go back to practical ways to understand life. | |
| In the streets, you have to be alert. | |
| We used to use a word that they hijacked it, which is woke. | |
| Stay woke means stay alert, stay present, stay understanding your surroundings. | |
| Yet today, most people are walking with their phones, with their eyes on their phones and headphones. | |
| They don't understand what's happening around them. | |
| The world can go down and no one will notice it because we're stuck in our phones. | |
| You understand what I'm saying? | |
| The first thing we learned in security class with you was stay alert in your certainty. | |
| Look who's around you. | |
| Don't give your back to what you know is going to, it's going to, it's going to cause you not to pay attention to your surroundings. | |
| America has been distracted, and yet we have allowed our enemies to come in to plan an attack that we're going to wake up one day and understand that America is no longer safe to be walking down the street. | |
| Yet we can prevent this by understanding how to operate in a time of chaos and this type of warfare that we're in right now. | |
| Don't get into this conspiracy theory. | |
| No, get the facts and walk with the facts, and then you can re-engage to understand how you can be a part of the solution. | |
| The church has to be part of the solution. | |
| We can't be part of the problem. | |
| Let me elaborate a little bit on that about paying attention because a lot of people hear situational awareness. | |
| You know, they say situational awareness, and then they hear these little catchphrases like, keep your head on a swivel, watch your six, you know, all these, okay, that's really cool and everything. | |
| Pay attention. | |
| Pay attention to surroundings. | |
| Know what's going on around you. | |
| What does that mean, though? | |
| So I got my head around. | |
| If I don't know what I'm looking for, how will I know if I see it? | |
| So this is situational awareness in a nutshell. | |
| There's always a baseline of behavior wherever you go. | |
| All right. | |
| So it doesn't matter where you go. | |
| There's always a baseline of behavior. | |
| All right. | |
| An example. | |
| If you go into a grocery store, as you're pulling into the parking lot, what kind of behavior do you expect to see in that parking lot? | |
| People pushing cartoons. | |
| Yeah, so you got carts coming and going, people parking cars, loading, unloading, grocery, whatever it is, right? | |
| So that's what, so as soon as you pull into that parking lot, start scanning the area and looking for anything outside the baseline. | |
| And then when you see something that doesn't fit, then take a look at that and see, okay, is it something I need to be paying attention to? | |
| Is this something that's bad or is this explainable? | |
| I'll give you an example. | |
| You pull in a parking lot and you see a crowd of people in a small circle. | |
| And so now that's not the baseline. | |
| That's not what should be normal. | |
| So then I got to check that out and look at it. | |
| See, all right, is that something I need to be concerned about? | |
| What's going on over there? | |
| If you see a bunch of people fighting or pulling weapons, then, oh, I need to do something, get out of here, whatever. | |
| But you take a look at that and see, because you're going to have to make a decision. | |
| You take a look at that and see what is going on over there. | |
| And then you see, oh, there's a grocery sack on the ground and they're helping pick up groceries. | |
| I just there you go. | |
| So whatever it is. | |
| But so that's situational awareness. | |
| Everywhere you go, there's a baseline. | |
| Figure out what that baseline is and then scan the area quickly to see anything outside the baseline. | |
| And if there's anything outside of it, then take a look at it to see if you can explain or find out if do you need to take some action? | |
| Do you need to get out there or whatever the case may be? | |
| Now, to go back to this dirty bomb and attack on American soil, I don't believe it's going to be one area. | |
| I really don't. | |
| There's too many people in this country. | |
| The plans that they could have is unbelievable. | |
| I can see where they would have people set up all over the nation. | |
| Because that would absolutely look like what they did with just a few planes. | |
| They froze this country. | |
| Completely. | |
| There wasn't any flights going out, nothing. | |
| This country froze. | |
| I can see them carrying out when it happens, carrying out. | |
| And I'm telling you, Osama bin Laden, his son said he's going to do something bigger than what his dad did. | |
| They don't forget. | |
| No, absolutely not. | |
|
The Great Influenza's Wake
00:05:08
|
|
| So anyway, it could be something throughout this whole country. | |
| What if they did something in 20 big cities? | |
| It would bring this place to a screen. | |
| Two big cities. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Two big cities. | |
| It would be devastating. | |
| You know, it's the times we're living in. | |
| It's important that we are constantly, like you said, staying vigilant, staying proactive. | |
| And friends, that's why it's important to have a relationship with the Holy Spirit. | |
| I watched a video the other day, Mondo, of a police officer. | |
| He was walking towards something and he said, I heard the voice of God tell me to turn around and start walking the other direction. | |
| He was told to go investigate something. | |
| He turns around, starts walking off. | |
| It was an RV in a heavily populated area and the RV blew up. | |
| Somebody had planted a bomb in the RV, drove into the Abraham. | |
| He says, but I heard the voice of God tell me to turn around and walk the other direction. | |
| Friends, that is how important having a relationship with the Holy Spirit is going to be in these times. | |
| That is how important having a relationship with God is going to be. | |
| It could be the matter of survival or not survival, life or death. | |
| Because listen, when God tells you to do something, even if it doesn't seem practical, when God says, hey, drive three or four miles out of your way to work today, or God says, hey, I need you to pull into this gas station you don't normally pull into and get gas today. | |
| It would behoove us to listen to the prompting of the Holy Spirit in our day-to-day lives. | |
| And Mondo, I've said this many times. | |
| Obedience is a muscle that we must exercise. | |
| Friends, if you don't exercise obedience, the muscle will slowly diminish. | |
| This muscle will slowly go away. | |
| You won't have it anymore. | |
| Every single day, we need to exercise the muscle of obedience for whatever it is that God is telling us. | |
| Mondo, I want to read this from Matthew, or excuse me, Luke 21. | |
| It says right here in verse 10, if you have a Bible at home, open it up to Luke chapter 21. | |
| I'm going to read, starting at verse 10. | |
| It says, then he says to them, Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. | |
| And there will be great earthquakes in various places, famines, and pestilences. | |
| Now, Mondo, we're seeing this pestilences really mark around the world right now. | |
| I mean, the last few days, we've seen severe bird flu cases confirmed the United States. | |
| You know, the same advisory stated that the first ever human catching the bird flu was from dairy cows. | |
| This has been reported in Texas. | |
| I mean, what does this mean now that we're seeing essentially a nation saying that we will weaponize biological warfare, and we're now seeing these diseases start popping back up in our nation. | |
| Yeah, and then, of course, we're always going to ask the question, did someone do that intentionally? | |
| It was like, you know, we had, there's been other instances across the globe over the time span of the last 50 years where something had come out, a lot of people had gotten sick, and then a government agency of the world came out and said, oops, sorry, we were testing something. | |
| Yeah, sure. | |
| Oops, sorry. | |
| It was our bad that millions of people just died from whatever this was. | |
| So it makes you have to question, hey, what is this in this particular situation? | |
| The hunters will know what I'm talking about. | |
| There's a thing called CWD, chronic wasting disease, and it's in deer or elk, things like that. | |
| And that was the same thing. | |
| That was, I think it started in Colorado, and it started with some research they were doing and then infected. | |
| I don't know if it was a mule deer or whatever. | |
| But anyway, it ends up getting out. | |
| And here we are. | |
| That's where we are. | |
| This ministry, for those that have been very faithful at standing with this ministry, you have heard Pastor Jim, some of our panel members, even our family talk about the bird flu for years. | |
| When no one was talking about the bird flu, this, what you call sometimes crazy ministry, we talked about the bird flu. | |
| We talked about what happened with the Spanish flu, the great influenza, one of the greatest pandemics in history. | |
| Yet, why does God drop this type of conversations and topics to this ministry? | |
| Years ago, yet we are living in the front line of the headlines of a patient that has been hospitalized. | |
| You have to understand, it always starts with one. | |
| Do you get that? | |
| Everything starts with one, one problem, one solution, one activity, one. | |
| Do you understand that? | |
| And the problem with the great influenza back then, it goes back to what you were saying. | |
| They hid it from the people. | |
| Yet when they woke up, millions of people were affected. | |
| Hundreds of thousands were affected because they kept it from the public. | |
| Yet you woke up to a different world. | |
| This flu, this bird flu is affecting cattle, is affecting the swine, is affecting it. | |
| Listen, it becomes a domino effect. | |
| And Ricky, we will wake up to the idea that there will be a shortage of food. | |
|
Preparing For The Unpredictable
00:15:18
|
|
| Yet everyone that laughed about it now is going to wake up and realize that the things that you were used to getting will no longer be available. | |
| We're going to wake up to another pandemic and realize what happened. | |
| We are one step away from a catastrophe taking place and the suddenly will hit you and realize that life is no longer normal. | |
| Let me ask Darren this question. | |
| You know, Darren, if something were to happen in the United States, whether it be a natural disaster or a terrorist activity, let's say it were just to happen right now. | |
| How much time do I have to get prepared if I haven't started already? | |
| You don't. | |
| It's over. | |
| If you haven't prepared before or prior, then you're not prepared. | |
| So if something happens, now you, here's the thing. | |
| So an incident happens. | |
| Now you have to try to figure out, okay, how do I get back to normal? | |
| If you haven't prepared for that, you're trying to figure all that out. | |
| And now you're running, trying to get this, get that. | |
| It's too late. | |
| If you want to be prepared, listen, the closest you can get yourself to staying normal in a critical incident or situation, the less stress you're going to experience during that whole situation. | |
| And so to be prepared, and here's the thing, don't think like this. | |
| Okay, if a nuclear bomb drops in my front yard, am I prepared? | |
| How am I going to do that? | |
| Or if we have this huge event, Martians come down from outer space and whatever. | |
| Start thinking of stuff that happens, actually happens to you at your area that you live. | |
| An example, power outages, that happens frequently. | |
| Right? | |
| So start there. | |
| Okay, so if I have a power outage, how do I prevent my freezer food from going bad if it's an extended power outage? | |
| How do I make sure that I can feed and keep my family cool or warm? | |
| Think like that. | |
| And so power outages, storms, snowstorms, tornadoes, whatever that you may face in the environment that you live in, start from there and prepare yourself. | |
| I think the government used to say prepare yourself for three days. | |
| I think they say three weeks now. | |
| If they're saying three weeks, you need to think about three months. | |
| But certainly, you need to think about having things ready to address and keep your family safe if a situation does. | |
| That's right. | |
| This is the, again, breaking news constantly, right? | |
| But I think this goes back to what we're talking about right now. | |
| It says California has just declared a state of emergency due to the bird flu. | |
| What are the odds? | |
| This is not planned. | |
| You have to understand, the more we get breaking news, the more you have to realize how prepared are we? | |
| Because it's going to come to a point where you can't buy certain things. | |
| They're not going to allow it. | |
| And if they shut it down like they did during COVID, do you have enough food? | |
| Do you have enough water? | |
| Again, the fact is, I know you don't want to think about that. | |
| I know that you think we're such an extreme. | |
| No, the reality is when states starts declaring state of emergencies. | |
| Yeah, we better watch out. | |
| We have to pay attention to those warnings. | |
| What if I told you that grid down chowdown can be a peace of mind? | |
| What if I tell you that having the water that New Mana offers can be a peace of mind? | |
| What if I tell you the grab and go that they put together of recipes is something that you can understand that can keep your family safe and give you that peace of mind knowing that you've done everything that you could to get prepared. | |
| I think it's not a crazy idea, guys, to be prepared. | |
| I think it's a good idea, actually, to be prepared. | |
| You know, that's why we've gone out and we've sought the best food industry and food preparation people in the industry, I should say. | |
| You know, it's important that we have a product that we can bring to people to help them get prepared. | |
| You know, we don't do this because we think it's the coolest thing to do. | |
| We don't do this because we think it'll be the thing that people love seeing on social media. | |
| You know, the opposite of that, you know, we get made fun of quite a bit for it, or we get, you know, poked at on all various social medias, our emails, our letters. | |
| Trust me, we get all the good ones, which we love from our partners. | |
| And trust me, we get all the bad ones, which we get from people who I assume probably aren't our partners. | |
| But, you know, it's amazing, Mondo, when we have events that happen in the United States and where they're able to serve. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| We've been to many national disasters ourselves down in the Texas region, the Mississippi region, the Florida region, where we have gone personally and we've handed out this food to people who needed it. | |
| And Mondo, there was a smile on every one of their face. | |
| There was gratefulness on every one of their faces. | |
| They didn't think you were crazy, did they? | |
| Yeah, that's right. | |
| Nor did the churches when these churches are preparing. | |
| Because Mondo, what we're seeing is churches begin to build a storehouse for their community. | |
| Friends, those churches are populated heavily that next Sunday. | |
| Why? | |
| Because people know that they can get food to eat. | |
| And it's not about numbers in a pew. | |
| It's about people who can give their life to Jesus. | |
| If your church is a couple hundred people and then a couple hundred more people show up, friends, that is a witnessing opportunity. | |
| Pastor Troy Brewer said it best. | |
| He said, food is going to be a witnessing tool in these last days. | |
| And we've seen that more and more, friends. | |
| That's why we have partnered with New Mana. | |
| We believe in the mission that they believe in. | |
| They're Holy Spirit people. | |
| They love God. | |
| They love Jesus and they want to see the church prepared. | |
| Mondo, they even went out of their way to make a section of their website where churches can go and get prepared. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And I think that's the fascinating thing is that New Mana has made it available for churches, ministries, large organizations to get the best discounts in larger containers of food and water. | |
| Matter of fact, we want you to watch this and then we'll come back and talk more about what's happening in the news according to scripture. | |
| Watch this. | |
| When we started, it's been, you know, 12 plus years. | |
| We never dreamed you're going to get to this point. | |
| The things that you see on the news were only part of your imagination. | |
| We're creating about 233,000 meals every single day. | |
| We're having a hard time providing enough food for each of the 300 food banks we work with. | |
| You must be resilient. | |
| You must be prepared. | |
| This isn't your regular everyday long-term food storage. | |
| This is essential food. | |
| We want it good enough that you could eat tomorrow. | |
| You know, you're late for baseball practice or whatever. | |
| You want a quick meal with your family, you can do it. | |
| You want it camping, whatever. | |
| It's a no-lose investment. | |
| This looks like it is something that needs to be put on your table tonight. | |
| When you order a bucket, order multiples, put it into your pantry. | |
| This is a family pack. | |
| There are 17 different varieties of food. | |
| This food is 25 plus years. | |
| Yes. | |
| Shall fly. | |
| So we have freeze-dried fruit, freeze-dried vegetables. | |
| They're awesome. | |
| This water, if you have enough of it stored away, it could save your life. | |
| This water is purified and it's the process. | |
| This is the first of its kind. | |
| It has zero bacteria. | |
| And you can get this by the case. | |
| You can get it by the box. | |
| By the truckload. | |
| We have organic powdered milk. | |
| You need no gluten. | |
| We have no gluten family packs. | |
| We have standard family packs. | |
| We have organic family packs. | |
| We have defender packs with superfoods in them. | |
| So we have a wide variety. | |
| It's just so important for survival. | |
| I mean, it is a question of survival for a lot of these families. | |
| Another thing we're focusing on is the buy now, pay later. | |
| So you can buy now. | |
| We got pay later options on the site. | |
| Offer that. | |
| Go to jimbakershow.com. | |
| You can get all your needs. | |
| You can check it out. | |
| You can call us if you have questions. | |
| Just give us a call. | |
| 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Oh, man. | |
| Call the number right now. | |
| Go to the website and visit the affiliate page with Numana. | |
| This is a 25-year shelf-life food. | |
| This is an everyday essential type of food, not just for emergencies. | |
| You can use it for camping. | |
| You can use it for, you know, going out on the weekends and eating something while you're camping. | |
| We've had churches been ordering it for their food banks. | |
| Yeah. | |
| And listen, I want to tell you something. | |
| Again, you keep bringing up certain things that the news is talking about. | |
| This is not something that we're making up. | |
| Just a few moments ago, there was a headline that said demand at food banks has soared to record levels in the United States. | |
| Yeah. | |
| If you own a food bank, you're going to have to change your strategy because I want to tell you something. | |
| If you don't move with the change, you are going to be emptied. | |
| They're not going to deliver food to you anymore. | |
| There's a lot of more people in the United States are lining up to get free food, yet the pantries are running out of food. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, I'm reminded. | |
| I'm always making eye contact with Ben Broadwater. | |
| He's one of our lead producers here at Morning Shed because anytime there's a prophecy that Pastor Jim Baker gave, we lock eyes and I feel like we're speaking the same language from across the room. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker gave a prophecy many, many years ago, Mona. | |
| You remember this, where he said he saw a vision where men and women, poor and rich alike, were standing in line at food banks. | |
| He saw men in multi-thousand dollar suits and people in everyday, you know, Walmart clothes. | |
| They were all standing together in line to get food. | |
| You know, there was a lady. | |
| What is her name? | |
| She is a missionary in Africa. | |
| Heidi Baker. | |
| Heidi Baker saw a vision of wealthy people in suits and all standing in line. | |
| I know it's hard for you to believe, but when you look at the headlines of where people are right now, people cannot afford food anymore. | |
| It is getting more expensive every single day. | |
| More people that demand for food banks. | |
| Again, if your church owns a food bank, and you want to gift a great gift this year, you may want to think about reaching out to us and talking to New Mana and call the number, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Because I want to tell you something. | |
| The way we need to think is a lot different than we were even last year. | |
| Food banks are going to need our help. | |
| The church is always the people that show up when no one wants to show up. | |
| I believe that if we can do it today, again, not only you're going to help your church, you're helping this ministry. | |
| You're helping a Christian business. | |
| It's a domino effect that knowing that when you call, when you get that food and you get it into the food bank of your church or your local community, maybe you run your own food bank. | |
| I want to challenge you with this. | |
| I went to go speak at an event and there was a lady from Canada and she said, God just confirmed when you talked about the food to open up a food bank in Canada. | |
| Yet other companies don't want to work with Canada. | |
| Would New Mana be able to work? | |
| I can tell you right now, I immediately called this guy, New Mana, which is Daniel Brighman, and asked him, can you open up a food bank or a storage place? | |
| This lady is going to pay for it. | |
| She's going to run her ministry from there. | |
| And he said, consider it done. | |
| Amen. | |
| I'm involved in the emails making sure that this food bank gets open in Canada because a lady in the audience felt the call of God to start a food bank in Canada with New Mana products. | |
| Amen. | |
| Guess what? | |
| That may be you. | |
| Allow God to speak to you. | |
| Matter of fact, Father, in the name of Jesus, we pray for that person watching right now that is listening to this program and is looking for confirmation. | |
| And this could be the confirmation of them starting a food bank that will impact their communities. | |
| Father, lead them to call the number. | |
| Lead them to call and answer the call to be able to stand in the gap in this season that we're in right now. | |
| In Jesus' name, we pray. | |
| Amen. | |
| You know, we hear a lot about Matthew 24 on this show because we truly believe we're living in that Matthew 24, that Mark 13, the Luke 21, and the book of Revelation timeframe. | |
| But I want to go to Matthew 25. | |
| If you have your Bible, open up to Matthew chapter 25 because Marta, I don't think that there is any coincidence that this comes directly after Matthew 24. | |
| We're going to start in verse 34. | |
| I'll read rather quickly, so we'll put the verses on the screen. | |
| It says, Then the king will say to those on his right, come, you who are blessed by my father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundations of the world. | |
| For I was hungry and you gave me food. | |
| I was thirsty and you gave me drink. | |
| I was a stranger and you welcomed me. | |
| I was naked and you clothed me. | |
| I was sick and you visited me. | |
| I was in prison and you came to me. | |
| Then the righteous will answer him saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you or thirsty or give you drink? | |
| And when did we see you as a stranger and welcome you or naked and clothe you? | |
| And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you? | |
| And the king will answer them, truly I say to you, as you did to one of the least of my brothers, you did it to me. | |
| Then he will say to those on his left, depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels. | |
| For I was hungry and you gave me no food. | |
| I was thirsty and you gave me no drink. | |
| I was a stranger and you did not welcome me naked and you did not clothe me sick and in prison and you didn't visit me. | |
| And they'll answer saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry or thirsty or a stranger or naked or sick or in prison and didn't minister to you? | |
| Then he will answer to them, saying, Truly, I say to you, as you did not do to the one or the least of these, you did not do it to me. | |
| And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life. | |
| That is why I consistently say on this broadcast, friends, it is the work of the church to take care of people. | |
| The churches should be the hospitals. | |
| The churches should be the food banks, the clothing centers. | |
| We should have prison ministries. | |
| We should have ministries that go and visit people who are in hospitals and sick or dying. | |
| Friends, that should be the work of the church. | |
| Why? | |
| Because we do it to our brother like we're doing it unto Christ. | |
| You may not agree with Brother Smith and everything he's ever believed in, but friend, when he's sick and needs a meal and needs clothes and he's in prison and he needs someone to visit him, it is our responsibility to step up in our full capacity as the church and clothe and feed and visit and minister to all these people. | |
| That is our role, church. | |
| We need to get a grip of that once again because once we do, I truly believe this. | |
|
Walking in Humility
00:13:11
|
|
| Once the American church gets off of our high horse of believing that there should never be anything bad that happens to us, or we get off the high horse that believes, well, we should never face trials or tribulations. | |
| And if it does, it's obviously a demonic attack and not the consequences of our own actions. | |
| Friends, once we get off that high horse, I truly believe we can step into the full calling that God has for us. | |
| A calling where we walk in humility. | |
| It doesn't matter if someone is, you know, what we think beneath us or somebody is way too above us to be doing this. | |
| We need to minister to every single individual, whether they are poor or rich, whether they have clothes or they don't have clothes, whether they are in prison or whether they are not in prison. | |
| It is the role and responsibility of the church to step up and take back America through what? | |
| Servanthood. | |
| That's how we take America back. | |
| Friends, it's not through being these domineering, great orators of the word of God. | |
| And we need those. | |
| We do. | |
| We need people who can proclaim the gospel clearly, directly, and wonderfully. | |
| But friends, we need servants more than we need anything. | |
| What did Christ come to do when he came to the earth? | |
| Friend, he came to serve. | |
| That's it. | |
| So we want to emulate Christ. | |
| We want to be like Christ. | |
| We want to walk in the full authority that Christ wanted to walk in, or Christ did walk in, excuse me, but we don't want to serve. | |
| We don't want to, you know, do anything extracurricular outside of our one hour and 30 minutes on Sunday and maybe the hour and a half on a Wednesday. | |
| Friends, it doesn't make sense. | |
| How do you emulate something but not want to look like it? | |
| How do you want to have the same DNA be grafted in and be called a son and a daughter, but not have the same roles and responsibilities, friends? | |
| This is a message to the American church. | |
| We need to stand up and we need to take background here in America, but it starts with serving. | |
| It starts with taking care of those who need food. | |
| It starts with clothing those, with visiting those in prison, whether you agree with what they did or not. | |
| It starts with visiting those who are sick in a hospital because, friends, that is our role and our responsibility as the church. | |
| When you honor servanthood, that means you value servanthood. | |
| Amen. | |
| Most people, they forget about honor. | |
| You know, when I look at the two of you, the two of you serve with great honor the American way of defending this nation. | |
| Amen. | |
| What does that mean? | |
| The two of you valued the servanthood to defend and protect this nation through the army. | |
| That's right. | |
| Those that serve through the Navy and on and on and on. | |
| It's because they saw the value. | |
| I believe we have lost the value of servanthood. | |
| That's right. | |
| When I started with this ministry, and I always talk to Ben, he's my venting partner. | |
| We love Ben Broadwater. | |
| But I want to tell you something. | |
| Find yourself a good friend that you can talk to and trust. | |
| The Proverbs 17:17. | |
| That's it. | |
| But I want to tell you something. | |
| Started by serving. | |
| I didn't demand a pay. | |
| I didn't ask for a pay. | |
| I wasn't looking for a pay. | |
| I was looking to how I can value what God saw in me through servanthood. | |
| And through that, it's got me to where I am today. | |
| If you want to know the key to get to where you want to go, learn to serve. | |
| That's right. | |
| Value the art of serving. | |
| Amen. | |
| That brings me to a point. | |
| I was just talking to a brother last night, a good man of God. | |
| And I said, you know, the Bible says that there's some keys that we need to have. | |
| Some of them are trust, delight, commit, and rest. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker wrote a book called The Big Three Mountain Movers: Trust, Delight, Commit. | |
| I said that older generation of ministers didn't believe in resting. | |
| We saw a lot of them burn out, but the rest is still a part of that. | |
| You need to be able to rest in the Lord. | |
| So I was talking to this brother Mondo and I said, you know, have you trusted in the Lord? | |
| He said, absolutely. | |
| I said, have you committed all your ways to the Lord? | |
| He said, absolutely. | |
| I said, do you feel like you rest in the Lord? | |
| He said, yes. | |
| And I said, but when was the last time you delighted in the work that you do? | |
| And he's like, well, you know, I have to do X, Y, and Z. | |
| The conversation boils down. | |
| No, we get to do X, Y, and Z. | |
| We get to feed the poor. | |
| We get to visit those in prison. | |
| We get to go do hospital ministry, even if it's at 2, 3 in the morning. | |
| We don't have to do it, brother. | |
| We get to do it. | |
| When the church revisits the idea of delighting in servanthood, I believe we're going to see a big shift in America. | |
| We need to revisit the idea of delighting in serving God again, where, yes, we can trust and we can commit and we can rest. | |
| But friends, if you're not delighting through that process, then you're a grouchy Christian. | |
| I'll be honest with you. | |
| I've seen a lot of grouchy Christians. | |
| They're doing the right things. | |
| Like, praise God. | |
| Thank you, brother, for stacking the chairs after service. | |
| Thank you for sweeping the auditorium. | |
| But, brother, you look upset. | |
| What's bothering you today? | |
| You know, I understand home life can be tough sometimes. | |
| You're facing trials and tribulations at your job. | |
| I get that. | |
| I understand not every day is going to be a good day. | |
| Believe it or not, I have bad days every once in a while. | |
| Everyone's probably going to laugh because that's true. | |
| They probably see me walk around very looking very stern around the building because we're trying to fix problems. | |
| We're trying to fix things that go wrong. | |
| We're getting through all the fine nuts and bolts of this machine that we work here. | |
| But friends, you can have a bad day, but you're not going to have a bad life. | |
| Why? | |
| Because you have Christ. | |
| You have Jesus. | |
| You understand that there's a light at the end of the tunnel. | |
| But that comes through delighting in our relationship with Christ, delighting in serving Christ, delighting in your brother and your sister in Christ. | |
| That when you see a brother and sister fall, we don't delight in that. | |
| No. | |
| When you see a man or woman of God who loves the Lord fall, friends, we shouldn't take delight in that. | |
| Ministries. | |
| Ministries. | |
| We shouldn't take delight in that. | |
| We shouldn't enjoy that. | |
| Expose them. | |
| Nor should we be doing that. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Nor should we be the first to be clicking share on Facebook. | |
| I'll be honest with you. | |
| We need to delight in the things that the Lord delights in. | |
| You're so smart. | |
| You know, God has gifted me. | |
| I'm not paying him any extra dissent. | |
| No, listen, this is why I honor him. | |
| I value him. | |
| I want you to see the picture of value and honor. | |
| I value my brother, Ricky. | |
| He's so wise in his age. | |
| And I want to tell you something. | |
| What I always tell you, when I think about the future of this ministry, I rejoice. | |
| I don't get worry and anxiety, or I rejoice because God has his hand in this ministry, whether we're here or not. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's his ministry. | |
| So I want to tell you something. | |
| Rejoice. | |
| When you think about this ministry, rejoice that we have overcome the enemy. | |
| We have overcome the valleys. | |
| We have overcome. | |
| Rejoice when you're calling. | |
| Rejoice and say, man, I'm going to give. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| When you look at your husband next to you, rejoice that God has gifted you with him. | |
| When you look at your wife, rejoice the fact that God has gifted you with his greatest gift. | |
| Amen. | |
| Rejoice in the time that we're going through right now because I want to tell you something. | |
| If you don't start rejoicing, Ricky, you're going to end up sour. | |
| The Bible says in 1 Thessalonians, rejoice always. | |
| Amen. | |
| Not sometimes, not most of the time, always. | |
| Pray continually. | |
| Give thanks in all circumstances. | |
| For this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus. | |
| Amen. | |
| Can I touch on the servant? | |
| It's a servant, too. | |
| Think, let's just bring it home. | |
| Think back when someone lend a hand to you. | |
| Think back when someone came up to you out of nowhere and just gave you a positive word. | |
| There's a gentleman that works here, and every time I see him, man, he just, he blesses me. | |
| And he'll come up to me, smiling, comes up to me and just says nice things. | |
| But you think about, think back at a time someone done that to you and it uplifted you. | |
| This is this, that's how I want to be. | |
| I want to do that to others. | |
| I want them to feel like I felt when people have done that to me. | |
| And I don't want to fall or fail at that. | |
| I want to be able to do that. | |
| I want to see people and go up to them and say things. | |
| And when they leave, they're like, wow, they feel good. | |
| And I want to do that. | |
| We can do that. | |
| Amen. | |
| It's our role to do that. | |
| Also, it's our responsibility, friends. | |
| We have been given the best gift ever. | |
| That is Jesus Christ. | |
| The fact that he died on the cross, that we can be called brothers and sisters to him, that we can be joint heirs to the throne. | |
| Friends, we don't deserve that. | |
| That's not a message you're going to hear preached across America so, you know, so openly. | |
| But we don't deserve that by any means. | |
| There's nothing that Ricky, that Mondo, that Darren, that anyone who watches this broadcast has done. | |
| Friend, do all the good you want in your life. | |
| You'll still never deserve it. | |
| And if we all could put it together. | |
| Yeah, yeah, that's right. | |
| It still wouldn't be. | |
| Because it's not as pure and holy. | |
| But we are honored by God. | |
| Why are we honored by God? | |
| Because we are covered in the blood of his son's sacrifice. | |
| Whenever the Lord looks at our sins, he looks at it through the lens of the blood sacrifice, friends. | |
| That is why we can be called holy. | |
| That is why we can be called righteous. | |
| That is why we can be called good. | |
| Nothing of our own account, nothing that we can do, nothing we can strive for. | |
| No amount of tithing we can do. | |
| Friends, it's purely the blood of Christ. | |
| You know, speaking of tithing, Mondo, there was a point where I wasn't the best tither in the world. | |
| I'm going to be honest with you. | |
| I was a young man. | |
| I thought I need to save money for my family. | |
| Then the Lord rebuked me. | |
| He's like, start tithing. | |
| Mondo, I start tithing. | |
| And, you know, we hear the sermons from great pastors. | |
| You know, I started tithing. | |
| The Lord started blessing me. | |
| I started tithing. | |
| Nothing in my life changed. | |
| And I thought, well, God, what is this? | |
| Amen. | |
| I don't know. | |
| I was like, what is this, God? | |
| You know, I'm tithing. | |
| I'm being faithful. | |
| I'm trying to not only tithe, but I'm also trying to give offerings. | |
| What is up with this? | |
| And the Lord said, oh, you're giving it to me grudgingly. | |
| You're giving it to me because you feel like you have to give it to me. | |
| And he brought back to me quickly and checked my heart. | |
| It's the relationship I have with the Lord. | |
| He checked my heart. | |
| The Holy Spirit really kind of poked me. | |
| He says, I love a what? | |
| A cheerful giver. | |
| And I said, well, let me change my perspective. | |
| Instead of having to give a tithe, let me pray over this tithe. | |
| Let me be rejoicing over this tithe. | |
| When I give this tithe on a Sunday morning to the church, I'm no longer going to say, oh, I'm doing this because I have to give my 10%, my 15%, whatever it is that we're able to do. | |
| I say, oh, my goodness, thank God that I get to do this. | |
| Why? | |
| Because I know every dollar will be stewarded and go back out and be able to transform people's lives. | |
| That was the difference for me. | |
| And then I did really start seeing blessings in my life. | |
| I did start seeing people reach out to me and say, hey, we want to help you with this or help you with that. | |
| Or even if it's the case of, like you said, people just calling me to give me uplifting words or saying, hey, here's some encouragement for you. | |
| That is where I saw the shift in my life. | |
| And I realized the only thing that changed was my perspective. | |
| We're here proclaiming the gospel. | |
| We're here bringing the guests that we bring. | |
| We're here talking about the subjects that we speak on, trying to prepare the church, not just for you, friend, but for your children and for your grandchildren as well. | |
| We want this to be multi-generational. | |
| You know, Dad said the other day, how's fundraising going? | |
| Are you guys doing okay? | |
| And I said, well, dad, they love you. | |
| I think they just like us. | |
| But no, what has changed, honestly, friends, is nothing. | |
| You guys have stayed with us. | |
| You have showed your faithfulness. | |
| You have showed your steadfastness, friends. | |
| And you have stood with this ministry through thick and thin, through governmental attack and through governmental slander. | |
| You have stood by this ministry because you know that God has put his hand on this ministry. | |
| Mondo, the most profound thing I think you've ever said is this isn't our ministry. | |
| No. | |
| This isn't Jim Baker or Ricky Baker. | |
| This isn't Mondo de la Vega. | |
| This isn't anyone who sits on this set. | |
| This ministry belongs to the Lord. | |
| And I truly stand by that word. | |
| If Pastor Jim Baker goes away, if Ricky Baker goes away, if Mondo de la Vega goes away, this ministry will still stand because this is God's ministry. | |
| He will put who he wants in place and he will bless who he wants to bless. | |
| And friends, he won't bless who he doesn't want to bless. | |
| And that is just the reality of who he is. | |
| And every decision God makes is righteous. | |
| Every decision he makes is holy. | |
| You know, there's the scales that we see in the Old Testament where they'd put some flour on this sin and some money on this and they'd balance it out. | |
| God scales are always balanced. | |
| They're always fair. | |
| They're always pure. | |
| They're always righteous. | |
| So friends, when we're blessed, we say, praise God and thank you, God. | |
| And when there's times where we're like, God, we're going through the trial. | |
| We're going through a tribulation. | |
| We're going through the fire right now. | |
| We still say, praise God and thank you, God, because we've come out of trials, friends, and we've come out of tribulations much more wise. | |
| We have gained information about how, you know, the world works, about how the systems work, about how, you know, there are governmental agencies that would want us to stop talking about certain issues. | |
| But friends, I say it on this broadcast and we get attacked for it, but I'll continue to say it. | |
| We'll never back down from the position that the Bible is our final authority, not a government organization. | |
| We'll never back down from the position that there is one way to heaven, not multiple ways to heaven. | |
| That one way is Jesus, but nobody comes to the Father except through him. | |
| We'll never back down from telling you the full truth and showing you the times that we're living in, trying to prepare the church. | |
| There are fundamentals that we stand by. | |
|
Middle Of The Day

| We're not promised tomorrow, nor are we promised the next few hours, friends. | |
| Something could happen. | |
| And I want to make sure that you are secured eternally with Jesus Christ, friends, because eternity lasts forever. | |
| Friends, I want you to stand with us. | |
| Again, our number is 1-888-988-1588. | |
| And whether you're going to work or you're going to bed or you're in the middle of your day, I want you to remember this. | |
| This is important, that God loves you. | |
| He really does. | |
| Bye-bye for today. | |
| We'll see you soon. | |
