25 Days of Preparedness
00:15:07
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Today, our special guest is an author and the founding and senior pastor of Open Door Church in Burleson, Texas, Pastor Troy Brewer. | |
| Our co-hosts today are Marticella Woodall and Mondo de la Vega. | |
| And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside USA, here's your host, my husband, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hey, you're watching Jim Baker's PTL Television Network. | |
| If you're watching this, I want to get this out. | |
| It's most likely the beginning of July, and we want to see you here at Morningside for our 4th of July event. | |
| If you're watching this, it could be the first or second day of our event, but you are still welcome. | |
| This is a three-day event we're going to be doing on the third, the fourth, and the fifth. | |
| We're going to be honoring Pastor Jim's 64th year in ministry. | |
| And Pastor Troy, you want to thank you for being on with us today. | |
| Thank you so much. | |
| 64 years in ministry. | |
| We have to honor the man of God. | |
| That's such an amazing milestone to be making. | |
| You know, a lot of people wish, hey, I wish I could make it to 64. | |
| Yes, 64 years preaching the fullness of the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| That's extraordinary. | |
| You know, we were talking about Dr. Candice Middleman actually said last week that there's 64 elections going on around the world that's literally changing leadership. | |
| That's right. | |
| In 64 different nations this year. | |
| And for him to be hitting 64, man, that's a big deal. | |
| And yeah, that is very prophetic. | |
| What did you say? | |
| You said eight times eight, that's new beginnings. | |
| And I believe we're about to see a restoration, a fresh fire, a new beginning for Pastor Jim Baker here. | |
| You're about to see your friend, Pastor Jim Baker here with a new fire lit under him. | |
| He has one lit under him. | |
| That's the beauty of it. | |
| The enemy might be trying to knock you down physically, might be trying to knock you down emotionally, might be trying to knock you down spiritually even. | |
| But friend, you have a firm foundation that you can stand on. | |
| Why? | |
| Because our identity is firmly rooted in Christ in Christ alone. | |
| And when you understand, hey, I'm a child of God, that's when you can truly walk in the fullness of who you're called to be. | |
| And Pastor Joy, I want to thank you. | |
| I believe you're truly walking in the fullness of who you're supposed to be because you say yes to the Holy Spirit. | |
| I want to ask you this question. | |
| How important is a yes to the Holy Spirit in the day we're living in? | |
| Yeah, yes is absolutely everything. | |
| What we tend to do as Western Christians is we say, I'll have a yes once I get approval from a board, once the committee understands everything. | |
| No, listen, Jesus says, pick up your cross and follow me. | |
| Amen. | |
| Pick up your cross and follow me. | |
| So living with a constant yes, and then the success comes behind the yes. | |
| That's right. | |
| And that's the way that it is. | |
| You know, this is the year 5784, right? | |
| That's right. | |
| And the 84th verse in the Word of God, as far as the New Testament is concerned, it says, it says, and immediately they dropped their nets and followed him. | |
| Amen. | |
| This is a year for us to say yes. | |
| Immediately. | |
| That's right. | |
| We're always looking for suddenlies, right? | |
| Like, hey, man, I want to see a suddenly. | |
| Well, Jesus wants to see it immediately out of us. | |
| That's right. | |
| And so you keep saying yes until you have to say no. | |
| Amen. | |
| And that's the Holy Spirit. | |
| You know, Pastor Jim has told us to watch for the suddenlies because that is a true sign of the end times. | |
| I truly believe we're living in the last of the last days. | |
| The final boarding call is here, friend. | |
| We need to make sure that we are ready physically. | |
| We're ready spiritually. | |
| We're ready emotionally for anything that is going to come. | |
| Why? | |
| Because I love the parable. | |
| It says that two men built a home, one on a sandy foundation, one on a rock solid foundation. | |
| Pastor, you know this. | |
| The same tribulations came to both homes. | |
| There was water rising to both homes. | |
| There was wind on both homes, but the one with the firm foundation stood strong. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker has been preaching a message of preparedness for many, many years now, decades. | |
| When it wasn't popular, he still stood strong with the message of preparedness because he knew this is what God has told me to do. | |
| And friend, he has beckoned the people, churches, pastors, deacons, whatever authority you have over your church or your homebody to make sure you and your family are prepared. | |
| You know, I was with him last night and I was just speaking. | |
| One thing he's passionate about is the fact that we prepare churches physically. | |
| We partnered with a company called Numana. | |
| And one thing that they did, which is amazing, is you can now go onto that affiliate site. | |
| And as a church body, not just an individual anymore, where it's great that you and your family need to be prepared. | |
| But Pastor, if you're watching this, you need to make sure your church is prepared. | |
| Deacon, pastor, epistle, bishop, whatever you are, you're sitting in a position of authority. | |
| You know, my church isn't ready for a natural disaster or a hurricane to hit or tornado to hit or even to serve people in a different city. | |
| Friend, you need to make sure that you have that. | |
| So we can go to our affiliate program now. | |
| They can find that right there. | |
| That's right, Ricky. | |
| And it is, it's Numana. | |
| It's an honor for us to partner with a group like this, a husband and wife who have the same principles, who values life, who stands for our mission here at the ministry. | |
| And so we do, we want to encourage you as Pastor Jim continues, we have now taken that mantle to say, yes, that we will continue to prepare the church. | |
| We will continue to bring you incredible products to help you and your family. | |
| This product is up to 25-year shelf life of food. | |
| I want to encourage you to call our toll-free number. | |
| That's 1-888-988-1588. | |
| You know, many times people are looking at preparedness and they're saying, well, why should I prepare? | |
| But, you know, we have Pastor Troy here. | |
| And Pastor Troy, what does it take? | |
| You know this. | |
| And I wanted to speak about this because when the way that our mother, Lori, reached us was she went into the inner cities, she knocked on the doors, but the only way that she was able to impact our life is through food. | |
| She fed us. | |
| That's right. | |
| When we were hungry, she came and she fed us. | |
| When we had no clothes, she literally came and gave us clothes. | |
| So these are principles of God. | |
| As you are rescuing children, don't you have to feed the children that you bring into this home? | |
| Isn't that something that they need every single day? | |
| Well, yeah, man, they're kids. | |
| That means they're all bottomless pit when it comes to eating. | |
| And as a matter of fact, even our rescues didn't begin because we went out to rescue kids. | |
| They began because we went out to feed people. | |
| So we started putting food banks all over the world. | |
| And it's actually in feeding people that miracles began to happen. | |
| I mean, if somebody comes to you for help and if you don't feed them, I mean, what good is that? | |
| Just to say, well, just wait on the Lord. | |
| No, we do have to be prepared and say, no, I'm going to set a table for you. | |
| That's what Jesus does at the rapture of the church is we all sit down together at the same table. | |
| You have a tremendous food outreach from your church. | |
| We do. | |
| That is one of the biggest in Texas. | |
| How did that begin? | |
| Because listen, I think the foundation that you're seeing here, either we were reached by food or we're reaching people with food. | |
| I know every time Bishop Ron Webb calls and says, hey, I got a truck full of food. | |
| Not only this ministry benefits, but surrounding ministries. | |
| Pastors come in and they bring their truckloads and whatnot. | |
| But you have one of the biggest food programs that your church was birthed under. | |
| Tell me about that because I think people need to understand that no matter what happens at the end of the day, the church has to have the answer. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Yeah, we have to be well prepared. | |
| You know, there's a couple of things that we have to be well prepared at, but one of the main things that we have to do is to be able to meet immediate needs. | |
| And those turn into selfless acts of redemption. | |
| Amen. | |
| And then the Spirit of the Lord blesses that and he begins to move on that. | |
| Yeah, we just celebrated our 35th year of the Open Door Food Bank. | |
| And 35 years. | |
| I mean, Saturday, we fed over 3,500 people just this past Saturday. | |
| And we had 17 first-time salvations. | |
| They saw miracles, cancer healed, families restored. | |
| And we've been seeing that now for 30, for 35 years. | |
| Amen. | |
| We have a food bank in Nicaragua that feeds 100,000 people a month. | |
| Wow. | |
| Wow, that's amazing. | |
| And we have food banks all over the world. | |
| Wherever we have rescue stations where we rescue kids, we also have monster food banks there because the Lord, because the Lord moves through that. | |
| Amen. | |
| You know, here in Luke 21, in Matthew 24, Mark 13, you can see it all, but I'm going to start in verse 8. | |
| If you have your Bible at home, open it up to this. | |
| It's Luke 21, verse 8. | |
| And then he said, Watch out that you are not deceived, for many will come in my name, saying, I am he, and the time is near. | |
| What does our Lord and Savior say, though? | |
| Don't follow them. | |
| When you hear of wars and rumors of wars, don't be alarmed. | |
| Indeed, it is necessary that these things take place first, but the end won't come right away. | |
| Then he told them, Nation will rise against nation, kingdom against kingdom. | |
| There'll be violent earthquakes and famines and plagues in various places. | |
| There will be terrifying sights and great signs in the heaven. | |
| But before all of these things, they will lay their hand on you to persecute you. | |
| There are three different textual biblical references saying that these things will be happening before he returns. | |
| One of those things is famines. | |
| And I'm telling you right now, one thing that people don't realize that strikes a food storage shortage is war. | |
| We don't want war. | |
| We don't like war. | |
| But when war happens, food immediately vanishes. | |
| That is what happens. | |
| Why? | |
| Because crops are destroyed in countries. | |
| So we want to make sure that the church across the globe is prepared physically. | |
| This has been a mission of Pastor Jim Baker, and we do not set that mission to the side. | |
| We stand firm and say, you know what? | |
| The mission must continue on even stronger than it was before. | |
| So, Pastor, if you're watching this and you want to get involved, go to jimbakershow.com, click the new mana, and click the, you know, I think there's a tally. | |
| What does it say? | |
| Churches or what does it say? | |
| That's right. | |
| Is your church ready? | |
| Is your church ready? | |
| And so click that. | |
| You can get all the information directly, get you in contact with the manufacturer. | |
| You can also call the toll-free number on the screen. | |
| Our operators can help you. | |
| They're here at Morningside. | |
| That number is 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Amen. | |
| So you're the founder and senior pastor of Open Door Church in Burlson, Texas. | |
| Did I say Burlson, right? | |
| Yeah, you did. | |
| Amen. | |
| Come on. | |
| I've been around Pastor Jim Baker, so my worries start slipping sometimes. | |
| Come on. | |
| It says, You and your team rescue boys and girls from sex trafficking worldwide. | |
| You're a renowned pastor, missionary, and expert on the book of Revelation. | |
| Wow. | |
| So I want to ask you this: Hey, if that gets thrown in right now, people want to know where are we on the timeline of the book of Revelation. | |
| Okay, right on. | |
| So the Bible says that a day is to the Lord is a thousand years. | |
| And when he says that, he means it. | |
| So from the fall of Adam to Abraham is 2,000 years. | |
| From Abraham to King Jesus is 2,000 years. | |
| From Jesus until now is 2,000 years, which means that we're at the end of the sixth day. | |
| The seventh day is the glorious and imminent return of the Lord Jesus Christ, where he rules and reigns for a thousand years upon the earth. | |
| And he forces the nations of the world to get with the kingdom program. | |
| Amen. | |
| Amen. | |
| We're about to step into the seventh day. | |
| We're right there on the timeline, and it is legit. | |
| I promise you, Jesus is coming back. | |
| While you're saying that, and then Ricky read that scripture. | |
| Just listen to some of the headlines because I feel like we're there. | |
| Yet, for some reason, it's not registering in our minds that we're there. | |
| We're knocking at the door. | |
| Listen to this from Fox News: Israel Hezbollah on the brink of all out war. | |
| Officials are warning. | |
| That's one of them. | |
| France is on the brink of all-out civil conflict. | |
| Number three, U.S. faces serious threat of terror attacks. | |
| Experts and former CIA chief is warning. | |
| Another one: NATO in talks to deploy more nuclear weapons. | |
| And I don't have time to go into all of them, but they're all signaling wartime. | |
| When you hear of this and then you talk about where we are on the timeline, how does this headlines fit to what you just said? | |
| Well, whenever, you know, Pastor Ricky just gave this awesome scripture where he says, hey, in these last days, it's going to be themed by wars and rumors of wars. | |
| And so that means that it means hostility, conflict, and conspiracy is going to be coming out. | |
| Rumors of wars means the uncovering of like conspiracies. | |
| This thing has always been going on, and now it's actually here. | |
| My goodness, that is the day that we live in. | |
| I want to show you guys a scripture. | |
| And if I could ask, and if I could ask my sweet sister, Marciela, to look up a verse for me, would you please look up Deuteronomy 32, verse 25, please, ma'am? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And while you're turning to that, this year, at the beginning of the Hebrew calendar year, and also to at the beginning of the Gregorian calendar year. | |
| So, of course, in the Gregorian calendar year, we have the year 20, what year is this? | |
| 2024. | |
| Yeah, this year 2024. | |
| Where am I? | |
| What happened? | |
| And then, of course, on the Hebrew calendar year, we have the 5784. | |
| Yes. | |
| Okay. | |
| 5,780. | |
| Now, one is the moon calendar, which is a Hebrew calendar. | |
| And then the Gregorian calendar, which, of course, is a sun calendar. | |
| And Jesus said there will be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars. | |
| And we need to understand that whenever there's signs in the sun and the moon and the stars, it's always about the timing of something. | |
| So it's the seasons. | |
| That's exactly right. | |
| So the Moedims, you got that. | |
| Genesis 1:14, on the fourth day, God created the sun and the moon and the stars. | |
| And he created them for signs, for seasons, and for days and for years. | |
| That's what the sun and the moon and stars were to mark prophetic events. | |
| So it's important that we understand the calendar. | |
| It's very important. | |
| Well, in the year 5784, I looked up the 5,784th verse in the word of God. | |
| And it happens to be Deuteronomy chapter 32, verse 25. | |
| Wow. | |
| Now, I want to get my sweet friend to actually read this. | |
| And you tell me if this doesn't sound like the October 7th event. | |
| Here we go. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| The sword outside and terror within will destroy both the young man and the virgin, the infant, along with the man of gray hair. | |
| Wow. | |
| That took place on October the 7th in Israel. | |
| I started preaching that in September and going, okay, since it is the Hebrew calendar, it speaks of something prophetic for Israel this year. | |
| And it specifically says terror in the home. | |
| Yes. | |
| That's right. | |
| Okay, that happened. | |
| It also says that young girls will be murdered, that young men will be murdered, and old people will not be spared. | |
| And it says in the home and also in the street. | |
| That's what it says. | |
| Yes, it does. | |
| Okay, that verse is the 5,784th verse in the Word of God. | |
| And this is the year 5784. | |
| It goes right along with, it is a, I call it the War of 24 or the War of 84. | |
| My good friend Alan DeDio, who's a very good friend of mine. | |
| We love him. | |
| He and I did, I love him too. | |
| He's a great man of God. | |
| And he and I did a conference at the beginning of the year, and we were talking about the war of 84. | |
| See, you have to live differently in wartime than you do in peacetime. | |
|
Day of Vigilance
00:04:32
|
|
| That's right. | |
| And this is not a peacetime. | |
| Now, we bring the peacemaker, not the peacekeeper. | |
| That's right. | |
| Okay. | |
| We're not called to be the King Jesus doesn't say, blessed are the peacekeepers. | |
| That's right. | |
| He says, blessed are the peacemakers. | |
| A peacemaker is a gun. | |
| That's right. | |
| I've got one. | |
| Okay. | |
| It's not somebody who comes in and says, I want to make friends with the enemy. | |
| We're not here to make friends with the enemy. | |
| That's right. | |
| We're here to overcome evil with the goodness of God. | |
| And so that means we have to kind of change our tunes. | |
| One of the things I preach about, I appreciate about you guys and Pastor Jim is for all these decades, you've been brave in the midst of being attacked, in the midst of incredible darkness. | |
| You're like, no, I'm going to stand for what's right. | |
| I will support Israel. | |
| I will be a man of God. | |
| I will feed the poor. | |
| I will do the things I'm supposed to do. | |
| I will take care of little boys and little girls, just like this ministry has been faithful to do. | |
| In the midst of wartime, you have to decide to hold on to what you have and do not allow it to be stolen. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, Matthew 10, 34, it says, Don't assume that I came to bring peace on earth. | |
| I didn't come to bring peace, but a sword. | |
| That is what we have to remember. | |
| Friend, I want to share a dream with you that I had the other night. | |
| I ran this by Pastor Jim Baker. | |
| I want to share it with you because this was something that disturbed my spirit. | |
| I saw it, so I immediately put it on X so that it was time stamped so people could see it. | |
| But this was the dream I had. | |
| I'm going to read it to you. | |
| I said, I had a dream Israel is being attacked from the south and people fighting. | |
| I could hear the screams of the people, and suddenly I was taken to a bird's eye view of the nation. | |
| I saw an attack which looked like blood coming from the north. | |
| The streams of blood went into major villages and cities. | |
| I said, I heard the Israeli people screaming and telling their loved ones to run away as there was a barrage of suicide bombers infiltrating cities and villages. | |
| I woke up and I was troubled. | |
| Let's pray for the peace of Israel. | |
| I followed it up. | |
| I said, to clarify, the bird's eye view looked like blood, but when I went down to normal ground level, I heard the people warning others and I saw men dressed in red face masks or red head covers. | |
| They were the ones causing terror. | |
| And I said, we need to continue to pray against whatever this is that is going to try to attack them from the north. | |
| Because, friend, we as believers do not have an option. | |
| We must stand with the nation of Israel. | |
| We must stand with the apple of God's eye. | |
| Why? | |
| Because it lines up with this. | |
| And friend, if it lines up with this, then we cling our very life onto it. | |
| Eternity is at stake, friend. | |
| But I'm telling you right now, we need to continue to pray for the peace of Israel. | |
| Pray that any attack on them is thwarted. | |
| Like when Iran was sending a barrage of missiles and projectiles towards them, it was thwarted by the Iron Dome. | |
| We are praying that the IDF stands up. | |
| They find whatever this is trying to infiltrate, and they stop it immediately at its root. | |
| I want to tell you, there's been some tremendous signs in the heavens this year, the great eclipse, right? | |
| But going back to that actually speaks of all this, okay? | |
| I'm not diverting here. | |
| Okay, so back on October the 7th, we had this horrific act of terror that actually took place in Israel. | |
| Okay, seven days later, there was the great ring of fire solar eclipse. | |
| That's right. | |
| Okay, seven days later. | |
| Those enemies that surround Israel call themselves the ring of fire. | |
| That terror group for all the way in the north, the Hezbollah, you know, all the way south, you know, the whole Hamasa, all that mess all over the world, Al-Qaeda. | |
| And then I want to tell you this, then we had the great American eclipse that actually took place here. | |
| And then 40 days later, which by the way, that was a sign of Jonah, and Jonah always declares 40 days. | |
| You always mark 40 days after that. | |
| 40 days to the day after the great American eclipse, boom, the Iranian president went down. | |
| That's right. | |
| On that helicopter ground. | |
| On that day. | |
| That's right. | |
| Literally fell from the sky. | |
| That's right. | |
| That is also incredibly prophetic. | |
| No, listen, this is not a day for us to be afraid. | |
| This is a day for us to be serious. | |
| That's right. | |
| This is a day for us to be sober, be vigilant. | |
| This is a day for us to be well prepared because we're not playing. | |
| Amen. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, we have to protect our nation. | |
| And a sign of judgment on a nation, a biblical sign of judgment on a nation is open borders, is lawlessness at the border. | |
| And we're seeing that. | |
| Your ministry firsthand is seeing true lawlessness at the borders where we had a president who came in and said, you know what, we need to build a wall to keep a strong America. | |
|
Secure Southern Borders
00:09:11
|
|
| Then we had someone come in directly after and say, you know what, we need to start the process of removing that strong wall that we are starting to build. | |
| But how important is it that America has strong borders, Pastor? | |
| Well, if you're not taking care of your borders, you're actually leaving the faith. | |
| The word of God, if you do a big study on borders all throughout the word of God, it has to do with the stewardship that the Lord has trusted you with. | |
| And it is a tremendous slap in the face for God Almighty to give you something amazing and then you will not protect it. | |
| You squander it, right? | |
| In our nation, you know, for more than 30 years, and I praise God for the partnership that you guys have had with us. | |
| And all of y'all need to know that this ministry partners with me, and y'all need to know this. | |
| But for 30 years, we've been rescuing children all over the world. | |
| And mostly, it was mostly not here because our borders were closed. | |
| There was strong security. | |
| But then the administration changed four years ago. | |
| And I mean, literally the day after the new president came in, literally the day after, every contact that we had in the federal government, boom, to help us fight sexual trafficking, you call them. | |
| Had those connections for years and years and years and years. | |
| The day after, like, okay, I don't think that this is good. | |
| Like, this is bad. | |
| And we kind of anticipated it, but we also didn't think it would happen. | |
| Especially that quickly. | |
| I mean, day after, within 24 hours, there was somebody that came into the government and said, we're not going to help anybody work against trafficking anymore. | |
| In fact, we don't want them on the radar because now we're going to open up the borders. | |
| And they knew anybody with any sense knows as soon as you open up the borders, the cartel moves in and trafficking goes through the roof. | |
| That's right. | |
| And so they didn't want a mainstream light on it. | |
| Well, too bad, so sad because the movie Sound of Freedom came out. | |
| And it literally turned everybody's eye and attention onto that. | |
| And I can imagine it was, it was, there were certain people, nefarious people within our government, that that was their worst nightmare that the body of Jesus would actually shine the light on this subject again. | |
| And so if the borders are down, what's real is hundreds of thousands of children and women are being enslaved and untold numbers, even that much more, before they get to our borders because they're all sifted through the nation of Mexico. | |
| And the cartel has people all over Mexico. | |
| So one of the things that's happened since our borders have gone up is this: 65% of all child pornography on the planet Earth is made in Mexico now. | |
| Wow. | |
| So if you can make a dent fighting pornography in Mexico, you can shut it down all over the world. | |
| Like, okay, why did it go up to 65% of children in the midst of pornography come in from Mexico? | |
| Because the borders are open. | |
| Yeah, that's right. | |
| So if the border was not open, that would not be happening. | |
| That's right. | |
| And that's the fact, Jack. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, I read a report. | |
| It said there's 85,000, which I don't think that it's a number you can comprehend. | |
| You can fill many, many huge stadiums across this country with that many people. | |
| 85,000 untracked or unfindable kids, children, men, and women. | |
| How do we allow 85,000? | |
| I've heard numbers up to 100,000. | |
| That's right. | |
| But the article I read is they said 85,000 are missing. | |
| And that's only the number that the United States government has taken accountability for. | |
| They're willing to take accountability. | |
| That's exactly right. | |
| That's not the untold numbers of kids that believe it's more than that. | |
| Oh, absolutely. | |
| It's more than that. | |
| Oh, of course it's more than that. | |
| And for anybody not to think it's more than that is actually being very irresponsible. | |
| So, so, but let's just say if it's one kid, much less hundreds of thousands of children. | |
| That's right. | |
| So this is why the body of King Jesus has to take a fight against pornography, has to take a stand and say, we will not be a part of that trash in any way whatsoever. | |
| And then also, we have to make a stand and say, shut the borders down, shut down pornography and shut down the borders and say, you either come in legally or you don't come in at all. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| That has to happen. | |
| I love that you said that because Pastor Jim Baker, he adopted some Hispanic children from Phoenix, Arizona. | |
| And he has said on this broadcast, I watched the clip from the other day, we support legal immigration. | |
| Of course. | |
| If you want to come here and have a better life for your family, and you want to come from Mexico, you want to come from an African country, you want to come from across the world, then by all means, friend, come and live the American dream, but do it the right way, friend. | |
| There is a process in which it is done. | |
| Do it the right way. | |
| We support immigration when it is done legally, because when it is done illegally, you have hundreds of thousands of children missing. | |
| You have child pornography being spiked in Mexico. | |
| You have issues where there aren't enough ministries to be able to help rescue at an alarming and a fast enough rate because you're doing all you can. | |
| The 11,000 child you said has been rescued from you. | |
| But how many more need to be rescued still? | |
| Yeah, the body of Jesus has got to take up this cause and say, is there not a cause? | |
| Like what King Davis said. | |
| See, the deal is, if the borders are down and if people are coming into this country, they're not coming to contribute, they're coming to steal. | |
| That's right. | |
| Okay, if you're going to come in legally, you're coming in to contribute. | |
| Amen. | |
| If you come in illegal, you're coming in to steal, just like if you come into my house. | |
| If you come in in a way that you're welcome, you're coming in to contribute. | |
| If you come in some other door, the window. | |
| That's right. | |
| You're coming in to steal. | |
| And we have to defend ourselves and our property and our way of life and the covenant that we have made because these godless nations have not made the covenant that the United States of America has made with the Lord our God. | |
| And friends, we have to fight for that. | |
| Amen. | |
| And praise God, we have a constitution that supports that. | |
| And that's why Pastor Jim Baker has been passionate. | |
| You need to go out and vote. | |
| You need to go out and make sure that you are in the ballot box voting for people who have the Constitution in mind, who have biblical principles in mind, friend. | |
| We don't have an opinion as believers. | |
| We have the word of God we can stand on. | |
| Friend, it is important that we secure our southern border. | |
| It is important that we support the Constitution. | |
| You know, I love that you are, you're a constitution lover. | |
| You shoot guns. | |
| I know you do. | |
| I shoot guns. | |
| Come on. | |
| That's just the way we are. | |
| We're Americans. | |
| We have the right and we have the freedom to own a firearm to protect our home and to go out. | |
| And you know what? | |
| Hunt for sport if we want to. | |
| I've seen so many people try to come against these issues, constitutional issues that our forefathers were wise enough with the Holy Spirit's impartation to say, I believe future generations will need a protection like this. | |
| And we have the longest standing constitution. | |
| Most countries, we had Darren Parker on the show the other day, and I believe he said it was every 10 to 15 years. | |
| Sorry if I butchered that number. | |
| Every 10 to 15 years, a country will change up its constitution. | |
| We're 200 plus years because we have Holy Spirit-inspired constitution through men who came here for religious freedom. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| Through men who came here and said, I want to be able to serve my God without fear of retraction, without fear of getting abused about it. | |
| And I want to thank you. | |
| It was a number that I just said, but I want to tell you, thank you, thank you, thank you. | |
| 11,000 children you and your ministry have saved. | |
| 11,000 lives transformed. | |
| 11,000 lives getting a second chance because you said yes to the Holy Spirit. | |
| So I want to say thank you, Pastor. | |
| Oh, thank you. | |
| It's my great honor and privilege to celebrate our 11,000 child that we've rescued. | |
| We actually raised those kids as well. | |
| So we have over 4,000 children under our care right at this second, all over the world. | |
| But you know what, my friend? | |
| When you're just talking about the Constitution, I want to just say this to you. | |
| The Constitution of the United States is actually a holy document. | |
| Amen. | |
| It is. | |
| It is Holy Spirit inspired. | |
| That's right. | |
| Nobody had ever seen anything like it before. | |
| People had had glimpses of hope for something like that, but it is indeed a holy document. | |
| And then I would also say this: that the First Amendment is so important that we have the right to free speech, right? | |
| That we need to be able to say what it is that we need to be able to say without being censored. | |
| And then when it comes to the second one, the second one is to make sure that somebody doesn't come and take away the First Amendment from us. | |
| And so, listen, if I can throw this out there, and I know that this is controversial, but our right to have guns is not to defend ourselves against deer. | |
| Everybody's like, well, you can use it for hunting. | |
| Yeah, I do use it for hunting. | |
| I have a hunting ranch. | |
| Do that. | |
| But it's not for us to defend ourselves against deer. | |
| It's for us to defend ourselves against tyrants, against tyrants and terrorists. | |
| That's right. | |
| And if we don't have the freedom to do that, how can we stand for someone who cannot stand for themselves? | |
| That's right. | |
| And so while that sounds radical today to me, it sounds like elementary school. | |
| You know, especially when you look at the lawlessness that is happening in our major cities, gangs are coming in by the 30, 40, 50 people and ravaging stores. | |
|
Warning Signs Ignored
00:02:24
|
|
| The last thing you want to do is use a flashlight on them. | |
| You know, men and women right now that are making a lot of money. | |
| They're living in the wealthy side of California. | |
| They're being robbed every single hour. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| Not every day, every hour. | |
| And yet, because of the laws that California has, they can't defend themselves. | |
| Yet what we're watching, and I'm looking at, you know, the CIA supposed to be a respected branch of government. | |
| Yet the chief is warning that terrorism is coming once again to America. | |
| He's starting to see the warning signs, the same warnings that they got before 9-11, and many branches ignored it. | |
| They're starting to see once again, and he's calling out to all Americans to be aware, to be prepared, to be watchful, to prepare your homes, prepare your towns. | |
| If the CIA and the chief there is warning us, yet why can a preacher do it? | |
| Yet the preachers get in trouble for saying what you just said. | |
| Yet we're watching the enemies within our nation. | |
| Listen, when you talk about the situation at the border, this morning, I saw a report that I'm going to try to find and put it as I'm speaking because over 90% of the ones that were able to be detained, 90% were child pornographers, child abusers. | |
| And that tells you what happens to the rest. | |
| America's not understanding. | |
| I'm reading a report right now, guys, that it's amazing because the Latino community finally is waking up to the idea that maybe we should deport a lot of the undocumented people that are here to harm this nation. | |
| Yet, I think what we're seeing is the open of the eyes from pastors that are willing to talk about what you guys are just talking about right now. | |
| Yet, they're trying to handcuff the church. | |
| They're trying to handcuff this ministry from talking about what we just discussed right now. | |
|
Year of the Open Door
00:15:12
|
|
| Yet, if we're not being transparent with some of the facts that are happening, most people get their news from their churches right now. | |
| And most churches are not willing to talk about it, but very few. | |
| And what happens to the few of them? | |
| I mean, one of the pastors that are friends of this ministry got arrested for talking about what we just talked about right now. | |
| Yet, where is the Constitution? | |
| I think one of these days you ought to read the Constitution out loud. | |
| Yeah, we need to for our partners. | |
| I think most people don't realize what the Constitution reads. | |
| Well, most people don't understand, you know, besides the first, second, maybe third one, they don't understand there's more that we have the entitlement to here in the United States of America as United States citizens. | |
| And I'll say this right now: I have many friends who have fought and died for our Constitution. | |
| I know them personally. | |
| I fought for this Constitution. | |
| Why? | |
| Because I love America. | |
| I love a strong America. | |
| Because what does it mean for the world when there's a strong America? | |
| There is more peace around the globe. | |
| There is more sanctuary around the globe. | |
| There is more stability around the globe. | |
| A strong America is a good America, but a strong America can only be strong if we have Christ on the throne. | |
| We have Jesus on the throne. | |
| It doesn't matter who the president is at that point. | |
| It doesn't matter who our congressmen and senators are. | |
| While we want a good president and while we want good senators and good congressmen who fear the word of God and have a fear of the Lord, Christ must be on the throne. | |
| And, church, that's not up to our Congress to decide if Christ's on the throne. | |
| It's not up to our president to even decide if Christ is on the throne. | |
| Pastor, it's up to you. | |
| It's up to you and your community to decide. | |
| You know what? | |
| Christ will sit on the throne in my community no matter what. | |
| Christ will sit on the throne in my state no matter what. | |
| Pastor, it is our responsibility to stand up and say, No more. | |
| Devil, I will give you not one more inch. | |
| And Pastor Troy, that's what you're doing, even in your church in Burlson, Texas. | |
| You're saying, Devil, not one more inch. | |
| Yeah, what we say all the time is not on my watch. | |
| Amen. | |
| And so, you know, just talking about what you're adding to what you guys just added is this. | |
| If the church is not free to be the church, it's over. | |
| That's right. | |
| And if the church is not willing to be the church, it's over. | |
| That's a good way to put it. | |
| So, two big things, man, that we have to avoid is any kind of politician that is not church-friendly whatsoever. | |
| And like, and you can say, well, I don't like this guy or that guy or whatever. | |
| You need to check and see. | |
| Is that guy, is he church-friendly? | |
| And or is he going to try and shut down the church? | |
| Or is the IRS going to come after the church or whatever, as has happened in the past and under certain administrations? | |
| But the other thing that we also have to ask is this: if the church is free to be the church, is the church willing to be the church or are they going to be a bunch of limp-wristed pansies who will not celebrate the overturn of Roe v. Wade? | |
| That's right. | |
| Who will cower to whatever the next thing is that they say you have to shut down? | |
| That's right. | |
| Who will not stand for the word of God? | |
| Who are scared about certain communities? | |
| Will they be the body of King Jesus and the mouthpiece of the Word of God? | |
| And those are two different issues, but both of them have to work. | |
| Both of them do. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, we had Roe v. Wade overturned, and it was 50 years of turmoil and prayer for churches to say, God, let this be overturned. | |
| Yet we had churches that couldn't form one coherent sentence on the next Sunday about it. | |
| They preached like business as usual. | |
| They didn't address it in the church. | |
| In fact, a lot of people actually came out. | |
| I mean, well-respected ministries came out with statements of, We choose not to address this political issue and yada, yada, yada. | |
| I'm like, what? | |
| That's right. | |
| That is a kingdom victory. | |
| That's a kingdom ethic. | |
| That is a church victory. | |
| It's the church that won that victory over the past 50 years. | |
| That's right. | |
| And for liberal and woke pastors to turn over their pulpit and prostitute their own anointing because they're scared that somebody is not going to like them. | |
| Again, whenever you define as Jesus defined in the book of Luke, the last days is this. | |
| It's going to be a tough time and you got to man up. | |
| That's right. | |
| Stand up. | |
| You have to man up and you got to be the people that God Almighty has called you to be and you cannot cower. | |
| That's right. | |
| It's treason. | |
| In the same way when the Lord was, you know, giving a rebuke to Job, he said, gird up your loins. | |
| It looks like a man. | |
| That means put on your big boy pants. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's what that means. | |
| And that's what the church has to do today. | |
| We have to put on our big boy pants. | |
| You know, there's a verse in the Bible. | |
| We were talking about this on another show. | |
| It says that the harvest field is plentiful, but the workers are few. | |
| And I've said this many times. | |
| That is because there's not enough people who want to put on their big boy pants, who want to put on the work clothes, who want to go grab their spiritual tools and go out and harvest. | |
| Because, Pastor, as you know, harvesting is work. | |
| Harvesting is hard work. | |
| When you're out there with the scythe and you're separating the wheat from the chaff, that is difficult work to do. | |
| But friend, it is important work to do because eternity lasts forever. | |
| Here on the show, we don't mince our words. | |
| You die and you go one of two places. | |
| You die and you spend eternity with Jesus Christ, or you die and you don't spend eternity with Jesus Christ. | |
| Friend, you have to make that choice today to say, I will stand by the word of God. | |
| I will stand by my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I will love my life not even to the point of death. | |
| You know, there's a verse that's quoted often. | |
| I love it. | |
| It says, we overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the word of our testimony. | |
| But yet there's a comma there, but the sentence is rarely ever finished behind a pulpit. | |
| Friend, and we love our lives not unto the death. | |
| Paul says it best that this life is a vapor, friend. | |
| This life is going to snap by so quickly that one day in heaven, we'll be up there for a billion years and we'll realize, oh my goodness, my time on earth was nothing. | |
| What a quick little vapor in the grand scheme of life. | |
| But friend, what you do here on this earth matters for eternity. | |
| The stance you take here on earth matters for eternity. | |
| That's why you do not have an option as a believer. | |
| You must support 100% of all biblical issues. | |
| And we're seeing a 95% doctrine being preached in the church in some facilities. | |
| And that is an issue. | |
| We must be 100%, as 1 Peter says, all in, sold out. | |
| And I want to thank you because I know you do that, Pastor. | |
| The work you're doing couldn't be done if you weren't sold out for the gospel of Jesus Christ. | |
| It's an issue of loyalty. | |
| And so loyalty is a tremendous, tremendous thing within the kingdom. | |
| It's like, okay, I might have my issues. | |
| I mean, I'm a human being and I'm a knucklehead, but I want to tell you, I'm loyal to King Jesus. | |
| Amen. | |
| I'm loyal to him. | |
| I'm a kingdom man. | |
| And being a kingdom man, that means that I worship the king. | |
| And if I'm going to worship the king, then I'm going to respect his word. | |
| And when it says, you know, we love not our lives unto death, it literally means I prioritize the kingdom more than I did any other priority that I have. | |
| And I think that if we could get that thing right, you know, we're always preaching the gospel of salvation and we need to. | |
| I do that. | |
| But Jesus said, this gospel of this kingdom shall be preached in all the world, and then he will return. | |
| A big part of the gospel of the kingdom is simply being loyal. | |
| You know, our loyalty means so much. | |
| And we cannot prostitute that because we're scared or because people don't like us or because of any of those things. | |
| I mean, I understand. | |
| Listen, I know that there's some people that don't like me, but I'm going to say in Texas, God bless them. | |
| Well, here's what I say. | |
| I come across people and they don't like me. | |
| And I'm like, I've only known a couple of people in my whole life that didn't like me. | |
| And they were nuts. | |
| There was something wrong with them. | |
| I mean, I'm a likable person. | |
| Like, what's wrong with you? | |
| But I just, I don't worry so much about that. | |
| I worry about, is there fruit in my life? | |
| That's right. | |
| And will it be said that I stood with the Lord? | |
| Amen. | |
| And I want to demonstrate his kingdom and his power. | |
| And how can I do that if I'm cowering? | |
| That's right. | |
| I'm not going to do that. | |
| And we can't do that. | |
| You know, there's something I want to ask you. | |
| You are a man who studies the book of Revelation. | |
| You understand numbers in the Bible, but there's a mention of something in the Bible of the first and last door. | |
| Can you tell us about the significance of the first and last door that we can find in the Bible? | |
| We can. | |
| The first door that you find is in the book of Genesis, whenever it says, when God Almighty is talking to Brother Cain, and he said, look, if you do right, it's going to go well with you. | |
| But if you do wrong, sin lies at the door, meaning if, and that lying at the door means it's crowding. | |
| Yeah, it is crouching. | |
| It's ready to leap on you. | |
| If you walk through that door, you're going to get jumped on. | |
| And the devil's going to jump on you like the alien jumped on John Hurt back in 1980. | |
| You're not going to be able to get him off of you. | |
| And so that was the counsel of the Lord talking to him. | |
| And that's the first time is this. | |
| Hey, listen, choose the right door. | |
| Jesus says, I'm the door. | |
| And this is 5784. | |
| And the four is the dilette in the Hebrew word. | |
| And it literally means the door. | |
| This is the year of the door. | |
| Wow. | |
| This is the year of the door. | |
| And then the last door that you find is in the book of Revelation. | |
| And it says, you know, that I turned to see the voice. | |
| I saw a door open in heaven. | |
| And it says this door was open. | |
| He heard a thunderous voice that sounded like a trumpet saying, come up here. | |
| Well, there's so many different layers to that. | |
| Definitely speaks of the rapture of the church. | |
| Absolutely. | |
| It also speaks of the elevation that happens. | |
| You have to be elevated. | |
| That's right. | |
| You have to be elevated. | |
| You're going to have to get above the muck and the mire of just the mess and the spirit of this age and be called up into the microtraping. | |
| That's that invitation. | |
| That's exactly right. | |
| Amen. | |
| Wow. | |
| You know, what's amazing is you talk about the door. | |
| How is Jesus depicted as the door in the book of John? | |
| Well, when Jesus says, I am the door, when he says that, he ain't playing. | |
| That means that we got to be all the way into King Jesus. | |
| Our churches can't be into some Jesus and something else. | |
| Whatever we do has to be to bring people to the door of King Jesus. | |
| There's no entry into the kingdom of heaven without going through Jesus. | |
| That's right. | |
| Man, we got to be drop dead, sold-out Jesus freaks. | |
| That's right. | |
| Amen. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, man, you can be too churchy sometimes, you know, but you can't be too Jesusy. | |
| That's right. | |
| You can't have enough Jesus. | |
| You can't. | |
| And by the way, friends, I believe with all my heart, we get as much Jesus as we want. | |
| Amen. | |
| And I really believe that. | |
| So Jesus says, blessed are those who hunger and thirst after righteousness, for they shall be filled. | |
| If there's anybody watching this and you're like, I wish I had more Jesus, you can. | |
| That's right. | |
| You can have more Jesus. | |
| You can have as much Jesus as you want. | |
| Cry out to him. | |
| Repent and say, I have to have you, Lord. | |
| And watch what he does. | |
| He'll show up. | |
| And he will show up because the Holy Spirit will never leave the void. | |
| If you actually cry to the Holy Spirit and say, Holy Spirit, I need you to come into my life. | |
| I need your conviction in my life. | |
| I need your wisdom in my life. | |
| I need you to walk with me day to day. | |
| They will not just leave you hanging. | |
| We have a good father in heaven. | |
| We have a son who came down and shed his blood on a cross so that we could be secured forever through his sacrifice. | |
| And what did he do when he ascended into heaven? | |
| He gave us a Holy Spirit, a comforter that we can walk in, that we can have intercession with, that we can have day-to-day conversation with. | |
| You know, the Bible says to pray without ceasing. | |
| And a lot of people think, you know, oh, man, Pastor, I can't sit on my bed all day long. | |
| I can't sit there and kneel all day long. | |
| I can't be in a church pew all day long. | |
| Intercession with the Holy Spirit through everything we do. | |
| Saying, Holy Spirit, I'm about to go left. | |
| Is this the right decision to be making? | |
| That is praying without ceasing. | |
| And Holy Spirit, I'm about to go and drive to X, Y, and Z. Is this where I need to be driving to? | |
| That is praying without ceasing, friend. | |
| A constant conversation. | |
| And you know, one thing I love about conversation is it's a two-way street, Pastor. | |
| Sometimes you have to be willing to just sit and listen. | |
| Sometimes prayer time is just listening, saying, Holy Spirit, I open the door to you. | |
| I open the conversation. | |
| It's yours to have. | |
| If you want to speak something to me, my heart is open and it's ready for it. | |
| And I love that your church is called Open Door Church. | |
| Come on. | |
| I love that. | |
| Because it is an open door. | |
| You guys are really there for your community. | |
| I want to thank you for what you guys do, not only in your community, but across the globe. | |
| Thank you. | |
| Amen. | |
| Well, whenever we started Open Door, we had started the food bank five years before we started the church. | |
| And that's also called Open Door? | |
| That is. | |
| It's an open door food bank. | |
| And once we started that, I was like, well, you know what? | |
| Okay, we're going to go ahead and start the church now. | |
| I'm a worship leader. | |
| So I was like, I've got a knack for reading the Bible and I can lead worship. | |
| My beautiful bride loves kids, so she can take care of the kids. | |
| And then we'll get together. | |
| And then after a few months, somebody smart will show up and we'll turn a church over them. | |
| I didn't know the smart people did not sign up for church leadership. | |
| I know that now. | |
| Amen. | |
| So here we are, all these, we're here 29 years later. | |
| I was like, I don't know what to call this thing. | |
| Like, what do I call this church? | |
| And I'm non-denominational, not because I'm against denominational. | |
| I'm not. | |
| I just, no, no respectable denomination would have me. | |
| So I was like, okay, let's just do this. | |
| I went to the book of Revelation. | |
| I looked at the seven churches that's in there. | |
| And I went, which church do we want to be? | |
| And the church of Philadelphia is the one that I landed on, the church of brotherly love that actually does something, loves people enough to actually do something with them and for them. | |
| And then he says to the Philadelphia church, he says, behold, I have set before you an open door that no man can shut. | |
| And I was like, I want to be that church. | |
| And so I underlined open door and I told Anna, I said, I think we're going to call this thing open door church. | |
| And it's especially good that I did that this year. | |
| It's the year of the open door. | |
| I'm like, hey, I like that. | |
| I want to ask you this question. | |
| How does the story of Jonah and the whale relate to the constellation? | |
| And I'm going to say this wrong. | |
| Cetus? | |
| Yeah. | |
| Okay, there we go. | |
| Come on. | |
| And then you did it. | |
| And the theme of redemption, because I believe as we have this open door year, there is a time of redemption that's going to be happening. | |
| People are coming back into the church. | |
| They're rejecting sin and they're coming back into a time of redemption. | |
| So how does this story of Jonah and really line up with that? | |
| Well, so like, why in the world are we talking about constellations? | |
| Because remember, we have to respect the timing of the thing. | |
| It's part of what I call living an Issacharian lifestyle. | |
| So the Bible says that the tribe of Iskar knew the times and the seasons and they knew what Israel ought to do, right? | |
| And guys, we have to know the times and the seasons. | |
| And a big part of that is the clock and the heavenly clock. | |
| And I know that the devil has done a lot of terrible things with all of this. | |
| People are like, hey, I don't think we should talk about constellations or all this. | |
|
Heavens Declare Glory
00:08:30
|
|
| No, the heavens declare the glory of God. | |
| That's right. | |
| And the firmament, you know, it does it. | |
| It just shows his handiwork. | |
| You know, we don't say that about money. | |
| Like, well, people have done terrible things with money. | |
| I don't want it. | |
| We don't say that about sex. | |
| That's right. | |
| So why would we do that about the stars? | |
| Man, the constellations belong to King Jesus. | |
| So there's 88 constellations in the heavens. | |
| There's 88 of them, just like a dadgum piano. | |
| And the Lord put it all up there within the heavens. | |
| And then the 84th is actually a shield in this year, 84. | |
| It's a shield. | |
| So the Lord is a shield unto us. | |
| But there is this one that is called Cetus. | |
| And Cetus is the only well that is in the heavens. | |
| And what's amazing is this last great eclipse that happened just about 50 days ago, by the time this airs, it'll be about 60 days ago. | |
| It was actually in Pisces and right below it was Cetus. | |
| And it's like, okay, what is that all about? | |
| Well, it's the sign of Jonah. | |
| And the sign of Jonah, right? | |
| So we recognize through our New Testament lens that the sign of Jonah is actually the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ in the three days in the heart of the earth, he says. | |
| That's right. | |
| However, up until that time, the sign of Jonah meant the solar eclipse. | |
| Because going back to 726 BC, there was the great Assyrian eclipse. | |
| And on the day that Jonah walked into Nineveh, there was a great eclipse. | |
| And he said, you cast out 40 days. | |
| And he walked in on the first of Elul, and 40 days later is Judgment Day, the day of atonement. | |
| He's like, 40 days. | |
| You cast out 40 days and it's over. | |
| And so everybody knew that the sign of Jonah was, and Jesus told the Pharisees, you're not going to see any signs. | |
| Well, except for that of the sign of Jonah. | |
| Okay, well, what did they see? | |
| The sun went dark for the space of three hours when Jesus was on the cross. | |
| That's right. | |
| Okay. | |
| Well, this year, all of that took place, which is a warning for a nation to turn. | |
| Okay. | |
| Hear me say this. | |
| He said 40 days. | |
| 40 years from the time that Jesus was on the cross, 40 years later, the nation of Israel was destroyed. | |
| Wow. | |
| Wow. | |
| That's a big deal. | |
| So the Romans came in from the north and they came in from the north. | |
| They sacked the city of Jerusalem. | |
| Everybody was hauled off into slavery or they scattered to the four corners of the earth. | |
| The number 40 was put over that nation at the cross of Jesus Christ at the sign of Jonah. | |
| It's serious business. | |
| And so this happened this year with us. | |
| And then I would just say that, and then what's amazing, again, is just to be able to make sure that we knew and we understood because the eclipse started in Jonah, Texas, and then it went through seven cities called Nineveh here in the United States. | |
| Went through eighth in British Columbia. | |
| But these seven cities called Nineveh starts in Jonah, Texas, goes through all this thing. | |
| And to make sure that we understand, it is a word to a nation that says turn or burn. | |
| That's right. | |
| Well, that happened within Pisces, which is the fish. | |
| And remember, the Bible says, and the Lord had prepared for Jonah a great fish. | |
| The word Nineveh literally means fish city. | |
| It means a great fish. | |
| And that's why God says, shall I destroy Nineveh, that great city? | |
| He's saying, should I destroy that great fish? | |
| And the Lord prepared a great fish for Jonah. | |
| Friends, the great fish that the Lord has prepared for us is not meant to swallow us. | |
| It's for us meant to go in there and point our prophetic finger and say this, the spirit of the Lord is here. | |
| Amen. | |
| And things need to change, and they do indeed need to change. | |
| I do want to make mention because I don't know why we didn't go into it a little bit more, but Looking Up is not your recent book, but maybe it is. | |
| I don't know when it came out. | |
| But if I was you to learn more about the constellations, prophetic signs in the constellations and how the heavens declare the glory of God. | |
| It's not only a book, but it has a workbook alongside of it as well. | |
| It is provided through Destiny Image. | |
| So go to our website, jimbakershow.com, and look. | |
| It's called Looking Up. | |
| You do the best, not one of the best understanding of the constellations and how it aligns prophetically and how it's declaring God's work. | |
| Because a lot of people get into this mystic idea of the constellations and they use their zodiac signs. | |
| And you even explain the difference between the zodiac signs and the constellations. | |
| And I mean, it's so deep that it gives you an understanding, the birth of what the mystic, and we talked about it in other programs on how a lot of churches are using this, yet you put it back into context. | |
| So do this. | |
| Write this number down, 1-888-988-1588. | |
| Or better yet, go to the website because I want you to look for looking up, get the workbook alongside of it because it's a great Bible study tool to help you understand prophetic signs in the constellations and how the heavens declare the glory of God. | |
| For everything holy, there is always a demonic counterfeit because as you know, the devil can't create anything original. | |
| He's not a creator. | |
| He's not good. | |
| He can be crafty, but he's not even really that smart, friend. | |
| We have the power of the word of God in us that can defeat the enemy. | |
| But always have something like that, you know, where the Lord, like you say, gives us constellations so we can see the times, the seasons we're living in, so that we can see the signs in the heaven. | |
| Of course, the enemy would love to take something like that and to twist it into like a zodiac sign where someone says, well, I just do that because I'm a, you know, I can't even think of a zodiac sign, but I just do that because I'm a whatever zodiac sign. | |
| That's just my personality. | |
| It's a twisting of what something that God has given us. | |
| We talked about it on the other show. | |
| I believe it was with Dr. Candace Smithy, man. | |
| You know, Dr. Candace, you guys are our friends. | |
| You know, there was churches using Tarot cards, churches using Christian, what they called Christian, which is not true. | |
| Christian cards. | |
| Oh, angel cards. | |
| This is what it was. | |
| And Christian Ouija boards so you could talk to the Holy Spirit. | |
| Friends, you don't need a bore for $19.99 to talk to the Holy Spirit. | |
| It's a free gift that has been given to you whenever you say yes to accepting Christ Jesus into your heart. | |
| Friends, that is demonic. | |
| That is demonic. | |
| If your church is doing that, you need to ensure that you talk to your pastor and say, Pastor, this is not what we need to be doing. | |
| You need to leave that facility. | |
| You need to get out of there and you need to find a good Bible-believing church and repent for that. | |
| I'm telling you right now, that is demonic what we're seeing. | |
| But the enemy is not even trying to hide his hand anymore, is he? | |
| He was crafty for the first couple thousand years or he was really trying to hide himself. | |
| But now I think he knows his time is short. | |
| So he's pulling out all stops, isn't he? | |
| Well, yeah. | |
| See, he doesn't have to do anything in hiding because it's like everybody used to say, what happens if Vegas stays in Vegas? | |
| Well, what used to happen in Vegas at nighttime happens in broad daylight on the city streets now today in this entire nation. | |
| And so here's here, this is my attitude about rescuing children all over the world. | |
| This is my attitude about talking about numbers and constellations or the Constitution or any of those things is this. | |
| Evil will not stop itself. | |
| Amen. | |
| Evil has to be confronted and the truth has to be taught. | |
| And we have to be people that overcome evil with the goodness of the Lord. | |
| We confront evil. | |
| We are not fascinated with evil. | |
| We don't, you know, we're not in love with evil at all. | |
| No, no, we confront it and that's what we do. | |
| And we bring the power of the Holy Ghost. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, if there's someone watching at home right now and Pastor, they say, hey, you know what? | |
| I haven't given my life to the Lord right now or I'm in a place where I'm in a place of turmoil where I have had a relationship with the Lord, but I don't know about my relationship with the Lord anymore. | |
| If someone's watching right now, Pastor, what would you say to them? | |
| I would just say to you, hear me say this to you, man. | |
| You are so important to the Lord. | |
| King Jesus loves you so much. | |
| And he's always loved you. | |
| And he's always been there. | |
| You just haven't known it. | |
| You just haven't had an eye to see and you haven't had an ear to hear. | |
| And even this terrible person that you think that you are, do you know that Jesus is your Redeemer? | |
|
Praying for Courage
00:04:54
|
|
| He takes everything that has no worth whatsoever and he makes you the most valuable person. | |
| He does that. | |
| And your Redeemer is in fact Jesus. | |
| Guys, he is only a prayer away. | |
| If you will call out to him, he will respond. | |
| If you seek him, you will find him. | |
| If you knock, he will answer. | |
| And if you call upon him, if you call upon him, I promise you, he will show up. | |
| This is what Jesus does. | |
| Friends, I want to pray for you. | |
| Father, in the name of Jesus, I pray, God, for every single friend that is watching right now. | |
| And I declare courage. | |
| I declare a brave heart. | |
| I declare the goodness of the Lord will be seen in the land of the living. | |
| Father, in the name of Jesus, hear every single cry, Lord God, especially those of repentance. | |
| In Jesus' name. | |
| Amen. | |
| In Jesus' name. | |
| Pastor, if somebody wants to support your ministry, how would they find you on social media? | |
| How would they find you on a website or anything like that? | |
| How can we find Pastor Trewer? | |
| They can find me at ODX.tv. | |
| So my TV show is on your amazing network and the open door experience, ODX.tv. | |
| Amen. | |
| ODX.tv. | |
| We want people to go out and support the work that Pastor Troy Brewer is doing. | |
| I know we support your ministry and what you're doing because what you're doing is critical for the body of Christ. | |
| And we need more people to lock arms with Pastor Troy. | |
| You might be saying, well, I can't go out and go to these South American countries. | |
| I can't go out to these Central American countries and help rescue these young men and women. | |
| But Pastor Troy can. | |
| He has the resources to be able to do so. | |
| But what he needs is your help, friend. | |
| The laborers are few. | |
| But you know what? | |
| I had a man come to me here in the studio audience at Morningside and it spoke volumes to me. | |
| He was an older gentleman. | |
| He gave a tithe during church. | |
| It was during a church service, excuse me. | |
| He said, I might not be able to get out there and work the field, but I can help you get the tools so you can. | |
| And friend, what you're doing is you're helping Pastor Troy have the proper tools so that he can go out and save. | |
| We need another 11,000. | |
| And after that, we need another 11,000. | |
| And after that, another 11,000 until the Lord comes through the clouds in all of his glory. | |
| We need to be rescuing boys and girls every single day. | |
| So that website, again, it's ODX.tv. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| We're going to put that on our screen. | |
| I want you to go support the work that Pastor Troy Brewer is doing. | |
| And you're on our PTL television network. | |
| I want to thank you for being on the network as well. | |
| What a blessing it is. | |
| It's a privilege. | |
| Open door experience. | |
| Yes, sir. | |
| On the PTL network. | |
| Go watch that. | |
| PTLNetwork.com or you can download. | |
| We have a free app. | |
| I don't know if people know that. | |
| We have an app. | |
| We've been working on it. | |
| There's some bugs, some tweaks, but we're still getting it every day. | |
| We're kind of trying to make it the best possible user experience for you. | |
| So go and support that. | |
| Download the app, leave a good review in whatever it is. | |
| If you have an iPhone, it's the Apple Store. | |
| If you have an Android, it's the Google Play Store. | |
| But go and support the PTL Television Network. | |
| Because when you watch, it is a good thing. | |
| Our metrics go up. | |
| People can then say, hey, you know, there's a popular show on the PTL Television Network. | |
| It'll populate to the top of people's screens. | |
| We want people to hear the true gospel uncensored. | |
| And the PTL Television Network provides a platform to be able to do that. | |
| Pastor Troy, I know we have never, we're going to watch your broadcast and say, hey, Pastor Troy, maybe you shouldn't, you know, talk about that issue. | |
| Maybe you shouldn't bring this up. | |
| Why? | |
| Because we believe in the fullness of the gospel, friend. | |
| Pastor Jim Baker had a burning message in his heart that he would give the prophet known and unknown a platform here at the PTL Television Network, which Pastor Jim Baker, it used to mean praise the Lord. | |
| And I use PTL all the time. | |
| I say praise the Lord, but it means prophets talking loud. | |
| And friends, in the times we're living in, we need more prophets who are in tune with the Holy Spirit speaking loudly to a generation. | |
| Why? | |
| Because I believe that there is revival around the corner if repentance is willing to be accepted in the church again. | |
| So friend, we're preaching a message that needs to be heard and we need your support. | |
| You can call us today at 1-888-988-1588 or go to jimbakershow.com. | |
| There's a donate button there and ptlnetwork.com has a donate button as well. | |
| We also have QR codes on the screen. | |
| It's somewhere right here next to my hand. | |
| If you don't know what a QR code is, all you do is take your phone, point it at it, you open up your camera and it takes you right to the link for whatever it is you're seeing on your screen. | |
| So we want to make sure you have that available to you right now. | |
| But friends, stand with us today. | |
| Stand with us and lock arms with us as we go and continue to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world. | |
| It is a mission that Pastor Jim Baker has had since the 70s and 80s, and the mission hasn't changed. | |
| It is to get people into the kingdom of heaven and to vacate hell. | |
| Friend, we need to make sure that you are on the right path with the Lord. | |
| If you prayed that prayer with Pastor Troy Brewer today, welcome into the family of the kingdom of heaven. | |
| You just made the best choice you will ever make in your entire life, friend. | |
| It is the most important choice. | |
| Jesus is the reason we are here, and we will continue to preach the fullness of the gospel. | |
| Thank you for supporting our network. | |
| And I want you to remember this, that God loves you. | |
| He really does, friend. | |
| Bye-bye for today. | |
| Pastor Troy, we're going to have you back on for day two. | |
| Thanks, buddy. | |
| If you're willing. | |
| I am willing. | |
| I am. | |
| Amen. | |
