Election Votes Matter 00:10:06
Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show, coming to you from the village of Morningside, USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains.
Today, our special guest is an author, founder of Watch Therefore Ministries and television program, and co-founder of Blessing Israeli Believers, Pastor Dove Schwartz.
Our co-host today is Reverend Mondo De La Vega.
And now, live from Gray Street at Morningside, USA, here's your host, Pastor Ricky Baker.
Hello, you're watching Jim Baker's PTL Television Network.
It is an honor to have you tune in with us today.
And friends, we have an exciting guest with us today.
If you've noticed, Pastor Jim Baker isn't here right now, Mondo.
He preached at Morningside Church on Sunday morning.
When I say he preached, I think he went from 11 to about, what was it, 1.30 or so?
Close to that.
Oh, my goodness.
In the good old days, he used to preach about three hours.
Now he kept it lower than that.
Yeah, he just went two and a half hours this time.
Praise God.
But he's resting right now.
The thing is, he has a lot to say.
Amen.
And the message he brought is a message that I have been hearing and studying along with him for almost 26 years, along with a powerful closing of the message, which the church, we must understand that forgiveness is the key to entering heaven.
But I want to tell you something.
He gave it all he had and now he's resting.
And I want to tell you something.
He was looking forward to preaching on Sunday and he made it possible.
And I was so proud of him.
Amen.
It was good.
It was a great service.
If you want to go back and watch it, Morningside Church, you can do that.
Hey, I want to read you some scripture.
If you're at home, open up your Bible.
If you have an iPhone, Android device, open up that Bible app.
It's out of 2 Timothy 2, verse 24 is where I'm going to start.
It says this right here.
It says, the Lord's servant must not quarrel.
Friends, that is a message we need to go across to our church in 2024, but must be gentle to everyone, able to teach and patient, instructing his opponents with gentleness.
Perhaps God will grant them repentance, leading them to the knowledge of truth.
Then they may come to their senses and escape the trap of the devil who has taken them captive to do his will.
Friends, we're living in 2024, a year of absolute Mondo, I mean, just disproportionate amount of evil in the United States of America.
I know globally there is as well.
But friends, we live here in the United States of America, so that's where our focus is on this.
But Mondo, we've seen diametrically opposed people groups supporting each other, all in the hatred of Israel, all in the hatred of the American church.
And you'll say, you know, how can we have these people groups, these religious sects who are so different from each other, agreeing with each other on one thing and their hatred for the church?
And it's because, truly, what the Bible says right here, they need to come to their senses because they are entrapped by the devil.
And that's the times we're living in.
I believe that the church holds the key to the cultural environment that we're in right now.
That's right.
The future of politics, the future of everyday life, yet the church, meaning pastors.
I am a pastor.
I've been pastoring for over 20 years.
So I'll speak on that.
But I want to tell you something.
We have the moral and spiritual responsibility to educate our congregation about biblical worldview.
And if we don't, then the congregation is going to be left on their own, not knowing what to do.
That's right.
Can I read you what's happening right now?
Because there's a determination factor in the next few days regarding the election.
And Darren, you're going to love this.
No, not really.
But listen to this.
Millions of Christians not planning to vote this November.
Could this shape election?
It will, absolutely.
The Cultural Research Center at Arizona Christian University study found that approximately 104 million people under the quote people of faith end the quote umbrella are not expected to vote this election, including 41 million Christians and 32 million of whom regularly go to church.
Wow.
Friends, we were losing states when I say we am talking about Christian values, things that God has close to his heart, such as the issue of abortion, such as the issue of same-sex marriage.
We were losing states by sometimes 100,000 votes, 50,000 votes, 20,000 votes.
And you're telling me that there are multi-millions of people who are under this banner of faith.
You're saying we're not going to vote.
Yeah.
According to the president of Arizona Christian University and a former Republican nominee for Arizona governor, he said this, that they are longing, meaning the church people, the congregation, you, if you're going to churches are longing, and I quote, longing for their local church to instruct them on how to think biblically about policy and politics.
Wow.
What does that tell you?
They're not getting the information that they're needing.
Therefore, because they don't know that this is surprising because a lot of people don't know who's running in their local elections.
That's right.
And if you don't know who's running on the local election, how are you going to know the policies that are being voted in or the policies that the candidate that wants to represent America is even displaying?
And one factor, you got Kamala Harris that doesn't display or even talks about the policies that she's running on.
No, she doesn't.
Then you got Donald Trump that is being more than vocal, but yet the church, the congregation, Ricky, are not understanding what that means because the pulpit is either afraid, when I say the pulpit, I'm talking about the minister.
They're being threatened.
And just a few hours ago, I got an email saying that the Billy Graham Association is being pressured to be taken away, meaning take away their 501c3.
And I want to tell you something.
That's how they put fear for churches, nonprofits to even mention what policies are all about, let alone what does the Bible say about the policy.
That's right.
But friends, you have to remember we will not get our primary information from the White House.
We must get it from the Lighthouse.
Pastor, you have to stand up and be bold during this timeframe.
Yes, there may be trials.
Yes, there may be tribulation.
Yes, there may be backlash.
But Pastor, you must be brave enough to tell your congregation the truth on the issues.
You know, I love Pastor Jim Baker, our father, because he has always been brave enough to venture out into those waters.
And we have a clip of him and Brigitte Gabriel.
They're talking about how you believer need to get out and vote.
I want you to watch this.
A lot of the kids today don't know what in the world.
They don't even know what state they're in.
I'm serious.
They don't know what's going on.
It's so true.
But there's millions of us old people.
And I'll tell you what, if you grandmas and grandpas maybe haven't voted in a long time, get out and register to vote.
You've got a voice.
You got one voice.
Use your voice.
Vote.
Register.
Absolutely.
That is so important.
Activism.
I have, I have great beef with those who stayed home last election, especially the 9 million evangelicals who stayed home last election because they did not want to vote for Romney because he's a Mormon.
And by the time, we ended up with Obama with the failed policy that Obama has.
This election, you need to get up and vote.
Not only pray to America.
A lot of people tell me, oh, I'm praying.
You know what?
I named my organization, our organization, Act for America.
Not pray for America, not hope for America, not wish for America.
You can do all the above, but you have got to get up and act in order to save the country.
Wow.
You know, it's a powerful message.
We have to get out and act, friends.
It's time that we make sure you're registered to vote.
If you're watching this, there's still a few days left to get out there, register for vote, early vote if you need to, but show up to those polls and show the world that, you know, the church isn't just a silent bystander.
The research shows that is revealing that the reason most Christians are not planning to vote this November includes one, a lack of interest in politics, which lands into 68%, a dislike in both major party candidates, which lands into 57%, and a belief that their vote will not be making a difference.
That lands on a 52%, but a smaller percentage of 48% believe that the election results will be manipulated.
Wow.
Yet you understand the fear.
Now, this category of fear lands in the labeling of being called a Christian nationalist.
And a lot of Christians today, especially young Christians, are afraid that they're going to be labeled a Christian nationalist because then that will determine their future.
That's right.
We have a battle in this nation on where should we stand.
Most Christians today, according to this research, is being told that they don't want to be told who to vote for, but they do want to know why they should vote and how to view political issues through a biblical framework, through a biblical lens.
Praying for Disaster Zones 00:07:57
The problem is, Ricky, that there's such illiteracy of the things of God, of the Bible coming from our pulpits today.
The research is being found that most pastors don't read their Bible until they want to put a message together.
That's right.
And we had a terrifying study that there is a significant amount of pastors here in the United States of America who had admitted that they don't write their sermons.
They were allowing a AI software called Chat GPT to write it for them.
And they would just recite.
They would tell it the topic, how many points they want it to be, roughly how long they wanted to preach for, and they would do that.
That, Mondo, shows you where we are.
But Barna did a study.
It shows that we are the most biblically illiterate generation, friends, because we think we can quickly just, you know, read our one Bible verse that pops up on our phones every single day and boom, we're good to go.
Mondo, we have to study to show ourselves approved.
Get in your word every single day, friend.
If it's been a while since you opened up your Bible, open it up today.
Spend 15 minutes with the Lord.
Spend 20 minutes with the Lord.
Don't go in there and get yourself an unreal expectation and say, hey, you know what, I'm going to spend three hours diving into the word because when you only do an hour, you're going to be discouraged, friends.
Start with a realistic goal.
Get into your word for 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minutes, and watch how you fall in love with the heart of God.
If you want to know the heart of God, friends, it's right here.
He put everything inside of this book for us so we can understand his heart fully.
Friends, it is important that you get in the word of God every single day.
You know, Mondo, we have guests on this program who are passionate about the word of God, who love the word of God and will stand, and I truly believe, and die by this word to say, hey, you know what?
I'm not going to be ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
If it costs me my relationships with people, if it costs me my friendships, if it costs me my congregation, I'm not going to back down.
If the word of God says that something is true, then I believe it is true.
If the word of God says it is sin and we must reject it, then I will also call it sin and reject it.
And Mondo, we have a very special guest with us today, an amazing man.
And we have Pastor Dove Schwarz with us here today.
Pastor, I want to thank you for being on the broadcast with us.
What a blessing.
What a blessing.
I'm thankful and blessed to be with you today.
And to everything you've said, I say hallelujah and amen.
I am a pastor of a church in Texas, and I preach the word.
I read the whole Bible twice per year because I love the word of God and teach it as it's relevant to biblically relevant current events.
Amen.
And that's what we need.
We need more pastors like that.
And I want to give you a quick synopsis of who Pastor Dove is.
He is a Jewish believer and the Messiah Jesus, which we love.
And he's the founder and director of the television program, Watch Therefore.
Dove and his wife currently live in the Houston, Texas area.
They have two children and two grandchildren as well.
I want to ask you a quick question before we dive into the program deep.
You know, Houston, that area, they get hit with these monster hurricanes.
I mean, we've seen Houston devastated many, many times.
We've gone down and we delivered food.
What is your heart right now to those people who are in the Florida region who have been, you know, displaced and also the Carolina region right now as these hurricanes are hitting them?
Well, thank you for asking.
Not long ago, we were hit with a hurricane dead on and we lost power for about five or six days.
But it was nothing compared to what they're going through in Florida and Georgia and West North Carolina and Tennessee.
And now we're seeing this other hurricane come towards Florida.
So I joined a prayer line this morning with friends and we just cried out to the Lord for mercy today, that that storm would diminish and that there would be a minimal loss of life.
Oh, help us, Lord Jesus.
Amen.
Wow.
That's what we need, Monda.
We need the church banding together and praying.
And one thing that I love is that we've been able to be a part and many other churches have been able to be a part.
We got off the phone this morning with Bishop Ron Webb and we're sending food right now to the North Carolina region, to the Tennessee region, to the Georgia region and even Florida.
We're making sure we get food there for the people who are going to be affected by this hurricane in the future.
But we must be praying.
More and more people are waking up to the idea that preparation is not a sin.
That's right.
Amen.
And I have been invited throughout my 26 years of ministry to different types of conferences to speak about different issues.
But the one issue that gets ignored is preparation.
Yes.
And a few hours ago, I got a call from an amazing pastor that is putting a summit together in Washington, D.C. and called me.
And I never thought in a million years that I will be asked to preach about preparedness.
Yet it's what I've been doing for the last 26 years with dad.
Amen.
Reading the book of Revelation, studying Matthew 24, but understanding that practical preparedness is an essential that the church must be a lighthouse in the middle of a disaster zone.
We are watching FEMA.
Let me rephrase that.
We are not seeing FEMA anywhere in the disaster zones, but we are seeing the church.
That's right.
The church is showing up.
The church is showing up not just with prayer, but they're showing up with food, with water.
And I want to tell you something.
And I don't mean this to plug this right now, but if you are a church and you're watching this program, if you're a pastor, if you're someone in your church watching this television program, it's amazing that God brings products to this ministry for a time such as what we're going through in America.
But we have military-graded plastic water that is shelved for over 25 years that can help be a rescue to those in need.
That's right.
And if you want to be a part of the solution, you can order this water and have it delivered anywhere in this country, wherever disaster zones are located.
You can order a truckload, you can order pallets, you can order cases.
And I want to tell you something: people need water right now, and people need the food.
If you want more information about this, go to the website, jimbakershow.com or give us a call at 1-888-988-1588.
That's right.
Yeah, not a lot of people can, you know, get actually to these disaster zones, be boots on the grounds, be helping move debris.
But, Mondo, what we've noticed is a lot of the church, and especially through this ministry, you guys show up and you show out.
You say, you know what?
I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and I'm going to help other people in these disaster zones.
And Mondo, it's been a blessing to see our partners have rallied behind us through every national disaster that we've been seeing over the last 15, 20 years.
We're actually starting with Hurricane Katrina.
And we've been able to send this food.
We've been able to send this types of food.
We've been able to send generators, friends.
And we're doing that again with this campaign with Bishop Ron Webb.
We're sending food, we're sending generators, and we are sending water to these disaster zones to make sure these people have clean water to drink, they have good food to eat, and that they can charge their electronics so they can be in communications with their families who they aren't close to.
You know, there's a lot of displaced people, and we just want to make sure that these churches, these men and women of God, and even unbelievers, friends, have a meal to eat so they know the goodness of God in 2024, friends.
So thank you for standing with us on this project we're doing.
You know, Pastor Dove, you have a show called Watch There For.
We actually have a trailer for that.
So before we dive in, I don't know if you mind.
Can we play the trailer for your show, Watch Therefore?
October 7th Attacks 00:08:23
And I mentioned that the world is experiencing pre-tribulation previews of the soon coming seven years of God's wrath on the earth.
And I'll enter into judgment with them there on account of my people, my heritage, Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations.
They have also what?
Divided up my land.
America is not mentioned clearly as a world power in Bible prophecy where other nations and regions clearly are.
The tribulation world order is beginning to take control.
Soon it will take shape and then it will take over.
What can we do?
Watch and pray.
Do you know and see the signs of the times?
Are you truly ready?
Folks, the signs are all around us.
At this time, America's current administration is trying to force Israel to give Jerusalem away to those who are followers of an antichrist spirit called Allah and form a Palestinian state, giving Jerusalem and Judea and Samaria called the West Bank to those who want to destroy Israel.
That is America right now that's so mad, confused, and drunk that we don't know the difference between a boy and a girl.
Later, he appeared to the 11 as they sat at the table and he rebuked their unbelief and hardness of heart because they did not believe those who had seen him after he had risen.
And he said to them, Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
See, we are to have as local churches and as disciples of Jesus, the Lord, a burden to see precious lost souls saved.
And let me share with you what that primary cause of distraction is in our hour.
What is that power of God?
They deny the power of God.
From such people, turn away.
The power of God we saw in Romans 1 is the gospel of Jesus Christ, the power of God to save.
Amen.
Your program, Watch Therefore, it airs on the PTL Television Network Sundays at 9 p.m. Eastern Standard Time.
And your show, Blessing Israeli Believers, airs at 11 a.m. Eastern Time on Tuesday.
It's an honor to have you on our network.
You are dealing with real issues that we are facing today.
I mean, in that preview alone, you dove into topics that a lot of people don't even want to start scratching the surface of.
So I want to say thank you for dealing with the relevant issues that our culture is handling today.
May our Savior Jesus be praised.
Hallelujah.
Amen.
Praise God.
Pastor, I have a question.
You have lived in Israel and you have experienced Israel from a different point of view and perspective than any of us.
I want to ask you, how were the attacks of October 7th prophetic?
So we can understand the seriousness of what's taking place since then as we're watching Iran and Hezbollah at war with Israel.
Thank you, Mondo.
Such an important question.
We are watching the last of the last days.
At the very least, players of these last of the last days on stage, either preparing for these wars, or we maybe see one of them developing right in front of us today, the Psalm 83 war.
Now, think of this.
Gaza.
Yeah, when most people see this, they've been fighting over there since there's been an Israel.
No, listen, Gaza is a player in the Psalm 83 war, where there are regions that we're watching on the news surrounding Israel that have never been in a confederation or a covenant like this before until these modern times, 1948 and onward.
And so Gaza is one of the players in this last of the last days wars.
There are many of them.
And of course, the Ezekiel 38 and 39 war and others into the tribulation as well.
And so think of Gaza and then understand that the Roman Emperor Hadrian in about 135 AD, he squashes a final Jewish revolt in Judea and renames the promised land after their arch enemies, the Philistines.
He names it Philistinia.
What is that in English?
Palestine.
Palestine.
And that same satanic principality that was over Gaza in ancient Israel in Bible times is still there, working through Hamas.
Now, one more thing that's so important to understand.
In Isaiah 60, verse 2, the Lord promises Israel that violence shall no longer be heard in your land.
What is violence in Hebrew?
Hamas.
Hamas shall no longer be heard in your land.
And then one more thing, October 8th, a year ago, a year ago, I had a ticket to go to Israel and interview our Israeli believing partners.
We got a call at 3 in the morning, October 7th, from friends in a bomb shelter, and we all know why.
And then I had to decide, am I going to try to fly to Israel?
All the American airlines were shut down, but I was on a Turkish air flight.
And my prayer partners, we gathered and we decided after me talking to Turkish Air and them saying, well, maybe we can get you into Tel Aviv, but we may have to come back and put you in a hotel room in Istanbul.
And I thought, Doe Schwartz at a hotel in Istanbul, October 8th is probably not a good idea.
and had to cancel the trip.
See how it's hitting home for me individually and so many others around the world.
You know, as we record this program, we are beginning the second year of fighting due to the attack that took place on October 7th, 2023.
I want you to watch this from CBN News.
We want to honor the people who lost their lives October 7th, one year later.
At 6.29 Monday morning, the moment terrorists from Gaza breached the fence into Israel one year ago, President Isaac Herzog observed a moment of silence at the site of the Nova Music Festival, where hundreds gathered in memory of those killed and kidnapped.
7th of October 2023, a day that should be remembered in infamy.
This is a scar on humanity.
This is a scar on the face of the earth.
It's one of many observances happening throughout the country to remember the October 7th attacks, including an event by the government press office, the National Documentation Project, which is collecting stories of those who suffered that day.
All of mankind, we have to remember what has happened on October 7th.
We have to remember the atrocities.
We have to remember the people who are still being held hostage in Gaza.
On hand were family members of the murdered, as well as relatives of the hostages still held, and some who've been released.
Each story is like, is unique.
But together, they create the full picture of captivity, a sad picture.
Shi Zohar is the uncle of Omer Nutra, a dual Israeli-American citizen and tank commander who was kidnapped as he responded to the attacks.
Omer was taking a live out of that burning tank that you've seen on the morning of October 7th.
Ever since, we have not heard a thing about Omar.
Zohar is leading a Jewish prayer effort in Tel Aviv, crying out for the return of the hostages.
Covenant and Prophecy 00:05:39
The world needs to make a unified stand against Hamas and saying they need to come back.
Period.
It's been a year, and whatever it is that needs to be dealt with will be dealt with after the hostages' release.
This weekend, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, Israel is fighting a war on seven fronts against the enemies of civilization, including Iran, which launched more than 200 ballistic missiles at Israel last week.
He criticized France's president and others who want to block the sale of weapons to Israel.
President Macron and some other Western leaders are now calling for an arms embargo against Israel.
Shame on them.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah continues to fire rockets at Israel as the IDF carries out surgical strikes in Beirut.
You know, Israel is in a seven-front war right now with Iran, with Syria, Hamas, Hezbollah, the Houthis, the Shiite militias in Iraq, and the Palestinian militants that have been armed by Iran.
Are we seeing the hand of God protecting Israel despite the warfare we are seeing in the Middle East right now, Pastor?
Oh, hallelujah.
We sure are.
I'm in contact constantly through the week with our Israeli believing friends and partners.
I'm talking about Jerusalem over on the Mediterranean coast up in the Golan Heights in the Galilee.
And Though they're traumatized, and though this is difficult beyond imagination, that same pre-incarnate Jesus Christ from heaven before he came to earth to save us from our sins on the cross and rose again, that same Jesus, the Lord, Messiah Yeshua, who was preserving and fighting for Israel, even in their times of judgment and being away from the Lord,
he would preserve them and fight for them according to that Abraham covenant that I think we'll be discussing.
And folks, that's the same Jesus Christ who's doing so right on our news screens today.
26,000 rockets in one year have been fired at tiny little Israel the size of Rhode Island.
What would Rhode Island look like if 26,000 rockets were fired at it?
And somehow, Israel's military is strong and fighting back.
Well, that's the power of Israel's Messiah, Jesus.
Amen.
Amen.
Your book, Watch Therefore, and Be Ready Today, talks about two doctrines that are essential covenant and Bible prophecy.
Why have Christian leaders reduced these mountain peaks to little more than molehills, as you say on page 12?
You know, it's so important to understand at least some of the church history that answers the question.
Because Paul warned the church in Rome, in Romans chapter 11, who, as the leaders in Rome and other prominent church leaders, so-called church fathers, but there weren't because Abraham, Isaac, and Israel are our fathers, the fathers of our faith.
If we look at Romans 11.
And so they began to hate the Jewish people for rejecting Jesus.
And in Romans 11, the Apostle Paul writes, For I do not desire, brethren, that you be ignorant of this mystery, lest you become wise in your own opinion.
That blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in.
And as it is written, all of Israel will be saved, for the deliverer will come out of Zion, turn ungodliness from Jacob, for this is my what? Covenant with them when I take away their sins.
So if we think of it in simple terms, covenant and Bible prophecy are the Lord's promises to his people that he keeps through Bible prophecy.
And so what took place, what took root, whenever you replace the truth of God for a lie, what took root was Romanism across the Christian church.
And what they said through Romanism was, Jerusalem isn't the holy city anymore.
Rome is the holy city.
And that Abraham covenant and that Moses and David covenant, and those pesky covenants get in the way because they say Jerusalem is the holy capital of the kingdom of God, where King Jesus, the son of David, will return and sit on the throne of David.
Well, that gets in the way of Romanism.
So they made that small, a distraction.
No, they took that away.
And when the Protestant church came out of Romanism, 14, 1500s, the Reformation, they brought a lot of those wrong doctrines with them.
And they began to teach, yes, Jesus is the son of David, but without the reality of the covenant promises and what that means.
2 Samuel 7, Jesus Christ, the Son of David, Messiah Yeshua, will return to Jerusalem, build a glorious house for the name of Jehovah, Yahweh, and sit on the throne of David.
And so many churches and so many pastors and Christians are cut off because those great things, those great mountaintops have been reduced.
Days of Noah 00:15:47
And that's why it's so difficult to understand Bible prophecy leaping off the pages of our Bible, certainly, but also off the news screens, like the things you're showing on the program today.
Amen.
Amen.
You know what's so important is that when it comes to Israel, God doesn't negotiate on the stand.
It's a non-negotiable with God.
Pastor, if someone wants to read your book today and they want to order a copy, where they can find this book, can they find it on Amazon?
Can they find it on your website?
Well, the best way is to go to watchthere.tv.
And we offer the book with a gift of any amount.
We don't want anyone to not be able to get the book.
And also, that helps support the ministry efforts that we're involved in in Israel and around the world.
What a blessing.
Amen.
That is a blessing.
So it's watchtherefor.tv.
We're going to put that on the screen so you can see that.
But Pastor, I want to talk about this.
Would you tell us about the prophecy of Isaiah 66, specifically verses 7 through 9 and how they're relevant to Israel today?
Okay.
In Isaiah 66, I'm going to read verses 7 through 9.
Before she was in labor, she gave birth.
Before her pain came, she delivered a male child.
Who has heard such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to give birth in one day?
Or shall a nation be born at once?
For as soon as Zion was in labor, she gave birth to her children.
Shall I bring them to the time of birth and not cause delivery, says Yahweh, the Lord?
Shall I who cause delivery shut up the womb, says your Elohim, your God?
And so I would ask a question to everybody today.
It may seem like kind of a silly question, but it's very relevant according to these passages.
When does a mother have labor pains, before or after the baby is born?
Well, obviously, before.
Here in verse 7, it says before she was in labor, she gave birth.
Before her pain came, she delivered a male child.
What this is speaking of is in Revelation chapter 12, there's a woman, a symbol of a woman with 12 stars who gave birth to a male child who would rule the nations with a rod of iron.
So that's the first century Israel giving birth to Jesus the Lord.
Yes?
But what he's speaking about here is these later birth pangs, these last of the last days birth pangs that we're experiencing right now.
And it says in verse 8, who has heard such a thing?
Who has seen such things?
Shall the earth be made to what?
Give birth in one day.
This cross-references perfectly with the Matthew 24, 7 and 8 birth pangs our Savior Jesus spoke of.
Why?
Because the birth pangs of World Wars 1 and 2 gave birth physically to Israel.
Gave birth physically to Israel.
And these signs that the Lord speaks of in Matthew 24, that we may get to in a little bit, these signs are things that have happened down through history, but never like this.
World wars one and two, never anything like it before in human history.
100 million people killed in those two wars.
And those wars brought Israel to a physical birth.
World War I prepared the land of Israel for the people with the kibbutzim and the histotrut movement and lots of details there.
But World War II prepared the people for the land where the Lord began to, like never before in modern times, he poured this river of aliyah, the children of Israel coming back to the promised land.
And then he goes on to say, because Israel's only been physically reborn, and we talk about the rebirth of Israel, it's true, but it's only partial.
Because in verse 9, we see the Lord say, in other words, shall I who brought them to a physical birth not bring them to a spiritual birth?
And the birth pangs are increasing with frequency and intensity right now.
The whole earth is feeling them.
Why?
Because Messiah Jesus, the great physician, is in the maternity room, birthing Israel.
And what will come from this is Israel and the nations will be born again.
There will be no one on earth when Messiah Jesus returns.
The only ones left will be those who believe in him.
Oh, hallelujah.
Hallelujah.
I want to read this actually from Matthew 24, starting in verse 3.
So if you have your Bible at home, open this up.
Or if you have an electronic device, you can go to Matthew 24.
There's also another account of it in Mark chapter 13 and Luke chapter 21, but we're going to be focusing on specifically Matthew 24.
It says, while he was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples approached him privately and said, tell us when these things happen and what is the sign of your coming and of the end of the age.
And Jesus replied to them, watch out that no one deceives you, for many will come in my name saying, I am the Messiah.
And they will deceive many.
You're going to hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see that you are not alarmed because these things must take place, but the end is not yet.
For nation will rise up against nation and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Friends, this is verse 8 right here.
All of these events are the beginning of labor pains.
Pastor, this is exactly what you were talking about, isn't it?
Absolutely.
And before that, in Matthew 27, the last few verses, what you see are three things.
The Lord promises judgment on Israel in the first century and that the temple would be destroyed.
And that though the Jews have been cast to the nations of the earth according to the Moses covenant for turning away from him, according to the Abraham-David new covenants, the Lord would bring them back and there will be Jews in Jerusalem.
When the skies open, it's all darkness.
The sun and the moon are darkened from the events of the tribulation and a light pierces the eastern sky.
And the Jewish people in Jerusalem who are about to be destroyed by antichrist armies look up and they see King Messiah Yeshua on a white horse.
And we who have been caught up to that place the Lord's promised to prepare for us are on white horses with him, returning from heaven as he comes to the Mount of Olives and saves his people, Israel.
Excuse me.
Hallelujah.
Amen, amen.
You know, you write that there are some primary distinctions that make the signs in Matthew 24 unique to one generation in history.
Can you please, for our audience, tell us what those are?
Yes, thank you.
And so I speak of four primary signs of the coming of the Lord to Jerusalem.
And then the fourth one I talk about clearly speaks of the time where the Lord will catch his people up to that place he's been preparing for us that he promised in John 14, 1 through 3.
And those things, those two signs are tied together.
Those two things are tied together.
The days of Noah and Lot are tied to John 14, 1 through 3, and I may get to that.
But first, we see that where the Lord speaks of there will be wars and rumors of wars and false messiahs.
Of course, that began to take place in the second century when Simon Bar Kokhba declared himself to be Israel's Messiah and brought on that revolt, which ended up with a crushing Roman blow and renaming the Israel Philistinia.
And of course, we know that Bar Koppa wasn't the Messiah.
And so anyhow, from that time on, there would be wars and rumors of wars.
Terrible things would happen every century.
But everything changes to our modern times in Matthew 24, 7 through 8.
And I mentioned that nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, World Wars I and World War II.
A new word springs up into the human vocabulary from World War II, from the Holocaust, genocide.
And genocide goes all around the world.
I've been to these genocide areas and have friends and partners there in Rwanda and the DR Congo and other places.
And so, and certainly the worst is yet to come in the tribulation.
So, the next sign is famine.
There's more hungry people on the planet today than ever before.
In the birth pangs, we see pestilences, diseases, right?
What's the most dangerous animal on the planet today?
The mosquito with malaria and all these other crazy diseases.
And even one of them that went global where people were putting masks on.
Yeah, COVID.
And we're hearing about the worst is yet to come with all these different diseases.
And then the fourth one is earthquakes.
This is interesting.
The United States Geological Survey says that earthquakes have increased 1,200% in the last 40 to 50 years.
Yes?
And so then the next one, of course, is the tribulation.
Verse 9, it will be globally illegal to believe in Jesus the Lord for seven years in the tribulation.
In verse 21, the Lord says that it will be the time of the world's worst trouble that there has ever been or ever will be.
And then he goes into the details of the tribulation.
And then in Matthew 24, 29 through 31, we see that the end of the tribulation scenario is when the Lord returns and we return with him from heaven and he gathers his elect from the four winds or four corners of the earth.
Cross-references perfectly with Isaiah 11, 11 and 12, where the Lord brings the Jewish people who are still scattered around the world and haven't made it back to Israel.
They too will have believed in Messiah Jesus upon his return.
And then he gathers his elect Jewish people back to the promised land.
Oh, hallelujah, which goes right into the third big sign, the fig tree.
The fig tree.
Now, I lived in Israel, had a fig tree in our front yard.
People know fig trees in Israel.
And so we know that in the springtime, the fig tree puts forth leaves with no fruit.
You see, that's Israel being physically born, but not yet spiritually.
And I've heard pastors say, well, I've heard people say, well, Israel isn't God's fig tree.
Well, I beg to differ.
In Joel 1, 6 and 7, chapter 1, verses 6 and 7, the Lord calls his land, his holy land, his fig tree.
And there's other places as well.
And so what is the only way to have the fruit of the Holy Spirit?
It's to receive Messiah Yeshua, our Lord Jesus, as Savior and Lord.
And so Matthew 24, 32 through 35 says that we're to learn this parable from the fig tree.
When its branch becomes tender, puts forth leaves, you know that what?
Summer is near.
That's when the figs come out.
That's when the fruit comes out.
That's powerful.
That's powerful.
Listen, Pastor, you got my attention when you mention, as it was in the days of La, as it was in the days of Noah.
We have been studying this for years.
What is your take on why did Jesus quote that very phrase, as it was in the days of Noah, and as it was in the day of law?
How important is that phrase into the prophecy that he gave to his disciples for this day?
So important.
So important, Pastor.
And so as the Lord closes up speaking about the fig tree, where all these signs revolve around the fig tree around Israel, he says, this generation shall not pass away till all these things come to pass, including the body of Messiah being taken to that place the Lord's prepared for us and returning with him.
And then he goes into the days of Noah and Lot.
Now, I could give you a lot of characteristics about the days of Noah and the lot that are like our day, like never before.
I'm going to give you a few, and then I'm going to give you the big one, the big punch for this.
First, population explosion, Genesis 6, 1.
In Noah's day, men begin to multiply on the earth.
200 years ago, there were a billion people on the earth.
Today, in 200 years, there's 8 billion people on the earth.
And then there's the wickedness and the corruption.
Hello?
Corruption and the violence.
Oh, listen, they murder 43 million babies in their mother's tummy every year.
What must the blood of a billion and a half babies sound like crying out for vengeance in the ears of God?
But look at this.
Here's a big one.
The wickedness.
The sign of the covenant with Noah.
What was it?
Think about that for a second.
And Lot in Sodom and Gomorrah, it was widespread homosexuality had taken over.
And that's the religion of the day is the homosexual movement, right?
So there's a global homosexual movement marching through the major cities of the world, including Jerusalem, marching through the major cities of the world, defiantly shaking their fists in God's face under a symbol.
What is it?
The sign of the covenant God made with Noah.
As it was in the days of Noah and Lot, so will it be with the coming of the Son of Man.
Amen.
We have to understand, Ricky, we are living in that generation that he just described.
Undeniably.
Yet the church, and we love the church.
We love the church.
Don't get me wrong.
The Bible says, I will build my church and the gates of hell should not prevail against her.
We're not against the church, but it's time for the church to wake up.
It's time for the church not to compromise.
It's time for the church to understand that it's later than what we think.
That's right.
Well, you know, Paul wasn't against the church, but he still wrote very strong letters saying, hey, friends, you need to get back to the roots.
You need to get back to being holy, righteous, and just.
And friends, us as pastors, us as believers, us as deacons of your church, if you serve in your church in any capacity, or if you're a congregation or a member, you have every right to say we must bring the church back to a place of righteousness.
We must bring a church back to a place of purity.
Why?
Because, Mondo, who is Christ coming back for?
A bride who is spotless and without blame.
I'm telling you, friends, we are going to be that church, but we must first tap into what God has for us.
You must have a relationship with Christ.
Make sure you know him as your Lord and Savior.
And Pastor Dove, I want to ask you just this right here in the middle of the show.
I believe there's someone watching who they may have been riding the fence their entire life on giving their heart to the Lord, but they're saying, you know what, there's something about what Pastor Dove is saying that is speaking to my heart, and I want to give my life to the Lord.
What would that look like for somebody right now?
Well, I just want to say that Jesus, the Lord, loves you, and he loves you so much that he's raised up people like these and like we were on the show to tell you the truth in love.
Tell you the truth in love.
Love without the truth is lying.
And the truth without love is brutality.
And the reality is, if someone says to me, well, why were those people wrong and you're right?
You know, Jesus, they've been saying Jesus is coming back for almost 2,000 years.
Here's my answer.
Was there an Israel a thousand years ago?
Was there an Israel 500 years ago, 200 years ago, 100 years ago?
No, is there an Israel today?
You need to get ready.
You need to get ready.
And if you don't know that you would go with us to that place Jesus the Lord promised to take his bride and that we would come back with him in glorified bodies from heaven.
And if you don't know if you're saved, if you don't know if your sins are forgiven, and you don't know if you would go to heaven or hell, listen, listen, please.
Activate Blessings 00:11:40
God loves you enough that God the Father sent his only begotten son.
Why is that so important?
Because he's sinless and he lived a life without sin.
See, you and I have broken God's laws.
We've lied.
We've cursed God's name.
We've lusted.
We've stolen.
And truthfully, much more against God and man.
We've sinned.
Yes.
And the wages of sin is death.
Sinners go to hell because that's God's justice.
We've broken his laws and he's not a judge on the take.
He's not corrupt like we are.
But here is where he satisfies his justice and his love for you.
That he comes in the form of a man, Jesus the Lord.
And when those nails went through his hands and his feet, his innocent, sinless blood was spilling down that cross to pay for every time you and I have sinned against him and man.
Yes.
Everything we've done against God and others was paid for by this Savior on the cross.
He hung there on that cross and they said, come down off that cross if you're really the son of God.
But he wouldn't because he loves you.
And he died.
He was buried on the third day.
Hallelujah.
He rose from the grave.
He went back to our Father in heaven and he sent his Holy Spirit to save sinners like me, like me and the pastors you're talking today that were saved by grace.
And we're like those who were beggars who found bread and we're offering you the bread of life, Jesus Christ.
What do you need to do?
Repent of your sins.
Begin to change your heart about your sins, which will bear fruit of repentance.
That means that things will change in your life.
Why?
Because you've received Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Believe that he died on the cross for your sins.
He was buried on the third day, rose again.
And call upon his name now.
Oh, Jesus, Lord, save me.
Because whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
And if you do that, then contact the people in this program.
There's contact information here.
Contact them and say, I just prayed to receive Jesus as my Savior.
Now, what do I do?
Oh, they'll be glad to help you and pray with you and rejoice with you.
And you'll go to heaven, not hell.
You'll lay a forgiven head down on the pillow every night.
There's nothing like it.
Isn't that right, Pastor?
Amen.
That's the truth.
There's nothing like laying down, knowing that I am right with God, that I have repented.
I've turned away from my wickedness and that I am walking in what God has me to walk in.
And Pastor, I want to talk about this because you wrote a book called Activate the Blessings of the Abrahamic Covenant.
And if someone has just prayed that prayer, if someone has just made that commitment to say, Christ, you are the ruler and the reigner.
You sit on the throne of my heart.
We are now grafted into that Abrahamic covenant.
And you know what?
You mentioned in this, the Prince and the Pauper story by Mark Twain and how, you know, a lot of people have traded the blessings of the Prince to identify with a pauper nowadays.
And I believe that is the tactic of the enemy.
But I want to talk about that in this timeframe.
You know, people need to learn how to activate the blessings in their lives.
But why have they chosen to identify with the pauper instead of identify with the prince, King Jesus?
You know, it all goes back to covenant.
Trading the God of the covenants, the Jesus Christ of the Bible, for the modern versions of Jesus Christ.
Do you know, surveys show that about 65 to 70% of Americans profess to be Christians, while only 4% to 6% have a biblical worldview.
So one of the things leftist Marxists do, for example, is remove the heritage of a country or a society to erase its identity to then create a new one in their own dark and evil image.
They can more easily then conquer and take over a country.
Do you know Karl Marx?
He had two goals.
One was to dethrone Satan.
Excuse me.
One was to dethrone God.
Karl Marx loved Satan and followed Satan.
One was to dethrone God and the second was to overthrow capitalism.
Well, those same deep dark spirits that worked through him are working in America in the church to make a Jesus of our own imagination.
And so what would help us get the real Jesus Christ of the Bible?
The covenants.
For example, the Abraham covenant.
The Bible, all through the New Testament, says, I'm a child of Abraham.
I'm a child of Abraham.
And that means lots of important and good things.
The Jesus Christ of the Bible is the one who from heaven before coming made covenants with Abraham, Isaac, and Israel.
And there are blessings in that covenant, and there's blessings in the David covenant.
King Jesus is coming to sit on the throne of David.
We should be watching and ready.
Yes?
Now listen to this.
The first verse of the New Testament says the genealogy of Jesus Christ, the son of Abraham, the son of David.
And so to answer your question, it's just that many who profess Jesus the Lord don't know their own heritage, like a pauper instead of a prince.
Amen.
Wow, that's powerful.
I keep going back to the percentages that you just gave.
This is shocking.
How can we expect leadership to even know who God is, what God is, if the church doesn't know?
That's right.
We are in trouble unless there's a miracle from heaven.
We are in trouble unless the church arises.
You know, just a few moments ago, Benjamin Netanyahu renamed the war to the war of revival.
I believe that this is symbolic, Pastor.
Do you believe that his rephrasing of the war is leading to where God wants us to have, which is revival in this hour?
You know, here's the thing.
Even though most of Israel hasn't yet believed in Messiah Yeshua, yes, there's still this Abraham covenant blessing and the prophetic that's working out from Israel to the nations of the world.
Why do I say that?
Because we have been crying out to the Lord for revival.
We have a network of prayer people and in our ministry and in our church, every Sunday, every Wednesday, we cry out to the Lord for revival.
And here's the prime minister of Israel calling prophetically this war, renaming it using the term revival.
And we know this, it will wind up for Israel that they will be revived when the son of David returns to Jerusalem.
Amen.
This is unbelievable, Ricky.
We are in a final hour, and yet God is reminding us revival is coming.
Amen.
Those who endure to the end, the Bible said, will be saved.
We are almost there.
Don't give up.
Dad always said for years, don't give up on the brink of a miracle.
I believe we're on the brink of a miracle.
This ministry is on the brink of a miracle.
You have to believe that you are on the brink of a miracle.
Endure.
Stay strong.
Stay in prayer.
Read your word.
Go to a Bible-believing church.
Intercede.
Listen, revival is coming.
Revival is there.
It's almost there.
Don't give up.
Amen.
Hold on just a little bit longer, a song said years ago.
Revival is coming.
God has chosen you.
God has chosen this ministry to be a part of that revival.
That's right.
I just want to remind you one more time.
If you want any of the books that Pastor Dove has to offer, one right here is Watch, Therefore and Be Ready Today.

We want to bless and support this mighty man of God's ministry.
Watch his program at the PTL Television Network or wherever else he streams it.
But friends, we need to know that the hour is close.
And Mondo, it's sooner than we think.
Absolutely.
And listen, we have always talked to you about getting prepared, not just for yourself, to help one more person to preach the gospel, to share the good news of the gospel.
And if the means to doing that is by bringing practical items like water and food, listen, there's a time coming that the church is going to arise.
We got to feed people.
We got to continue to help people, but to bring them to the hope of Jesus Christ, most of the time that I've witnessed Ricky has been through the belly because people are hungry.
That's right.
We want to get your church prepared.
New Mana has developed a now program, a program that you can buy now and pay later.
And we have a lot more information for that when you go to the website, jimbakershow.com and go to the affiliate page of the New Mana site.

If you're a monthly partner who stands with this ministry, I want to say thank you on behalf of the entire ministry.
You allow us to broadcast the gospel of Jesus Christ around the world.
You know, here at the PTL Television Network, we've been told that we need to censor a little bit heavier.
We need to die the message down a little bit more.
But friends, we have made a commitment since the beginning of this network's inception that we would never do that.
But we would never say that there are more than one way to heaven because there's not.
There's only one way to heaven that's through Christ and Christ alone.
We'll never say that there's a possibility that you can be living a certain lifestyle and go to heaven.
Friends, the Bible says you must repent and believe the gospel.
Friends, we stand by the word of God.
If the word of God agrees with it, we believe and agree with it.
If the word of God rejects it, friends, then we must reject it.
Here at the PTL Television Network, we have programmers that we are proud to say we don't censor them.
They come on with their message that the Lord gives them and we let them say what they have to say in the full capacity of what the Lord said to them.
You know, standing with this network means we're standing for a free, censorless network.
Absolutely.
Pray about becoming a partner today.
