Arm in Arm Preaching
00:09:21
|
|
| Hello and welcome to the Jim Baker Family Show coming to you from the village of Morningside USA, nestled in the beautiful Ozark Mountains. | |
| Today is day two with our special guest, the lead pastor of City Reach Church in Whittier, California, Pastor Brian Bolt. | |
| Our co-hosts today are Martisella Woodall and Mondo de la Vega. | |
| And now, live from Grace Street at Morningside USA, here's your host, my husband, Pastor Ricky Baker. | |
| Hello, you're watching Jim Baker's PTL Television Network. | |
| We're excited you chose to tune in with us today. | |
| I'm telling you, I love hearing that. | |
| Our director of our show, his name is Weston. | |
| He's a good man. | |
| He was doing the announcing before and he did a phenomenal job. | |
| But when I hear my wife's voice, that gets you fired up in a different way. | |
| I want to thank my wife. | |
| That's Brooke Baker. | |
| I want to say, we're going to throw a picture of our family up on the screen. | |
| I want to thank you for doing that with us. | |
| Pastor, we want to thank you for being back with us. | |
| Thank you so much. | |
| Thank you. | |
| I thought maybe after show one, you would have just hightailed out of here, but you stayed with us. | |
| You stay in the course. | |
| Man, the first show was amazing. | |
| So I'm more excited for the second show. | |
| Amen. | |
| Hey, if you didn't get a chance to watch their first show, you can go back on video on demand and watch this first show. | |
| It's going to be a show that touches you. | |
| It edifies the body of Christ. | |
| But the PTL Television Network, that's where you can find all different types of shows. | |
| You have the Mondo show on there. | |
| We have Pastor Rod Parsley on our PTL television network. | |
| But Mondo, you have a show on the network and it's thriving. | |
| You have some incredible guests. | |
| Listen, I found this man right there. | |
| I met him. | |
| I'm going to be honest. | |
| I don't know this man for a long time, but I'm telling you, when the Spirit of God connects you, you don't need to explain. | |
| It's the unexplainable. | |
| But I met him during NRB on passing because Troy Brewer, Joseph Z, Tony Suarez, I don't even know who else was there. | |
| All I knew is that this raspy voice guy from Isi LA, California, you know, Whittier, but you can't forget those kind of people. | |
| And I talked briefly and I said, he's got to be on the show. | |
| You know, and I tested him. | |
| I said, well, I'm going to put him on my show first and see what happens. | |
| If he passes the test. | |
| No, I'm kidding. | |
| But I brought him to my show and I told him immediately, do you mind coming on the Jim Baker show? | |
| He said, absolutely not. | |
| I said, well, that's the kind of person that needs to be there. | |
| But I want to tell you something. | |
| The message that you carry, the anointing of the miracles, signs, and wonders, you don't want to miss today's program. | |
| We're going to go more deep in what you're talking about, what you're writing. | |
| It is where we are now. | |
| I mean, you said it earlier when you said, you know, Jesus is alive. | |
| People, oh, no, we should be happy with celebrating. | |
| But you celebrate every single day of your life. | |
| This man right here. | |
| Listen, you got to go find him on social media, get on his website. | |
| If you think Troy Brewer was busy, I found a man that is busy than Troy Brewer. | |
| Come on. | |
| I'm telling you, BBWorldEvangelism.com. | |
| That's your website. | |
| Yes. | |
| And that's where people can go and purchase this book, which is Miracles, Signs, and Wonders. | |
| It's a 40-day devotional. | |
| That's BB World Evangelist. | |
| We're going to put that on the screen for you right there so you can go and check out everything Pastor Brian Bolt has to offer. | |
| We support this ministry because you're teaching the fullness of the word of God. | |
| And you know what, believer, I've been saying this for many, many years now. | |
| Christians must go out of their way to support other Christians. | |
| Christians must go out of their way. | |
| Friends, I know sometimes in Christian businesses, it's a dollar or two more. | |
| I know it's easier probably to go to a big box store and get whatever it is. | |
| But brother, if you have a Christian brother or sister who is making something and you know that they're benefiting the kingdom of God, spend the extra dollar. | |
| Support Christian businesses. | |
| Support Christian programming as well. | |
| And I want to thank you, our partner, Pastor Jim Baker's friend. | |
| You have supported Christian television. | |
| You know, by count, they stop counting inheritance USA by count, Pastor Jim Baker. | |
| These are people who wrote in and says, because of your program, 2 million people gave their life to Jesus Christ. | |
| So, you know what? | |
| We're believing for a 1 billion soul harvest in the end time. | |
| And we know it's going to come. | |
| And a big part of that is going to be what you're doing. | |
| You're going out there. | |
| You're getting out there. | |
| You're going to be in South Africa. | |
| You're going to be in England. | |
| You're going to be here in the United States holding these crusades, telling people, you know what? | |
| Signs, miracles, and wonders are still for today. | |
| And the redemptive power of Christ has not changed from the moment the blood started dripping from his body. | |
| And Christian television is going to be a crucial part of that. | |
| I think your show needs to be on the network. | |
| We need to get you on the PTL stuff. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| What you're doing all over the world needs to be shown. | |
| I mean, I wrote it down. | |
| You said it. | |
| So it's using your words again. | |
| Where is it at? | |
| Oh, you probably moved my papers. | |
| Oh, I got it right here. | |
| You said it. | |
| I'm going to repeat your words. | |
| I'm going to stay out of your preaching. | |
| Probably not. | |
| But hear what you said. | |
| It is media, PTL network is the hub of communication. | |
| It's where the message goes out. | |
| I believe we need to see more on what God is doing all over the world. | |
| We can't travel the way you can. | |
| I know you probably can't travel the way Pastor Brian is traveling, but we can witness through television what's happening. | |
| And this is, listen, stop complaining about, oh, those businesses are not aligning with my views. | |
| Well, listen, we have found affiliate programs that you don't need to go and buy toothpaste somewhere else that doesn't align with you. | |
| We found a company that, and yet, oh, it's too expensive. | |
| No, what you're doing is exclusive to help us preach the gospel all over the world, but to support Christian businesses that are doing what you're complaining about, yet you don't want to turn around and support it. | |
| Guess what? | |
| Italian people say, shut your mouth. | |
| Listen, stop complaining about it. | |
| Start supporting the mission. | |
| We are on a mission to win a billion souls for the kingdom of heaven. | |
| Would you be a part of it? | |
| That's right. | |
| Would you say, hey, sign me on? | |
| I want to partner with you guys. | |
| I want to be a part of what you're doing. | |
| Even if you don't need the toothpaste, go get one and send it to someone. | |
| It's not about the toothpaste. | |
| You're missing the point. | |
| It's not about the child down, grid down. | |
| It's about the state. | |
| Yeah, now you're getting my preaching. | |
| Come on, I'm excited. | |
| You get me excited when you say that because you're right. | |
| That's what this is all about. | |
| You know, we have a storefront. | |
| You go to jimbakershow.com. | |
| We have affiliate programs. | |
| And I've had friends, because I'm a younger man, so they wonder, hey, why are you doing that? | |
| Why do you guys offer products? | |
| And I say, well, what we're doing is we're supporting other Christian businesses so that they can go out into their community and preach the gospel of Jesus Christ in its fullness, telling people there's only one way to heaven, friend, and that is Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ alone. | |
| But you know what? | |
| These are spirit-filled people that we want to go out and support. | |
| But what does it do? | |
| It helps us preach the gospel of Jesus Christ as well. | |
| Mondo, you said it eloquently. | |
| This is why we do what we do. | |
| We want to support one another. | |
| Pastor, unity is going to be more important in the days we're living in than it ever has been. | |
| Unity, you know, you said it best at the beginning of Christian television or the second big wave of it in the 90s, there was lots of big names coming out, but not a lot of unity. | |
| That's what Pastor Jim Baker has even told us. | |
| You know, these men wish, like you said, Mondo, they wish they would have taken more time to get to know who each other are, to support each other's ministries and to stand arm in arm with each other. | |
| Friend, we're giving you that opportunity to stand arm in arm with us as we go out and preach the gospel. | |
| We're giving you the opportunity to stand arm in arm with Pastor Brian Bolt as he goes out and preaches the gospel. | |
| That is why we are here doing what we're doing. | |
| If this wasn't about Jesus, friend, I'd be working a different job. | |
| Come on. | |
| If this wasn't about the redemptive power of the sacrifice that was paid on the cross for us thousands of years ago, friend, I'd be working a different job. | |
| I am passionate about seeing people brought back into the fullness of who they are called to be. | |
| Friend, your identity needs to be rooted in Christ. | |
| Your love needs to be rooted in Christ. | |
| Your compassion needs to be rooted in Christ. | |
| If you are not rooted in Christ, friend, then what are we? | |
| But that's why we do what we do. | |
| It's why we have our affiliate program. | |
| It's why we have our monthly programs through people who donate to us. | |
| And I will say, I have to say thank you, thank you, thank you from the bottom of my heart. | |
| We have had people joining back on the monthly club. | |
| I don't know if you know this, Pastor, but in 2020, whenever agencies were coming against us, telling us, hey, you got to stop doing what you're doing, they took away the ability to process credit cards for us. | |
| So we had the majority of our partners faithfully giving on our monthly program. | |
| And they didn't even know people would come here and say, hey, I thought for the last year I'd been giving to you guys, but we have not been doing that. | |
| So I want to say thank you to the people who have realized, hey, you know what? | |
| We thought we'd been giving, but we're not. | |
| But they have rejoined the monthly program at $30, $50, $100 a month. | |
| I know I do $100 a month because I love this ministry. | |
| I'll give it right back because I want to see the gospel of Jesus Christ preached. | |
| You know, Ricky, I just have to say, we had a pastor, and I wish we would have interviewed him on our show. | |
| He was just here. | |
| He was in the back of Oklahoma. | |
| But he came here to Morningside to rest. | |
| You know, he said, I need to get away. | |
| He's like, I needed to rest. | |
| I needed to hear from the Lord. | |
| That's why Morningside was built, that this would be a place that the Holy Spirit would be able to renew pastors and people, renew their strength in the Lord. | |

Faith Street Giving

|
|
| But, you know, he said something when Mondo and I were sitting with him, we just had lunch with him, and he said something so remarkable. | |
| He was talking about the work that he was doing in Cuba. | |
| He was a Hispanic gentleman, and he was saying, do you know that the thing about Cuba and the thing about these churches and some of these third world countries, what separates them from what God is doing there, maybe sometimes from here in America? | |
| He said, every church service, he's like, they have been taught to give. | |
| He told us, he's like, they've been taught to give. | |
| He's like, when I started, he's like, I began ministering to people who were in the prison cell. | |
| He's like, there was jailmates that were coming in. | |
| He's like, and do you know, he's like, I told them, he's like, I began to teach them. | |
| He's like, the Holy Spirit told me to teach them about the principles of giving, about the principles of God's way of giving. | |
| And here's what he said. | |
| And this touched my heart. | |
| He said, they didn't have anything. | |
| They had no money. | |
| They have zero money to their name. | |
| He's like, and the Holy Spirit began to say, tell them to go outside and look for rocks. | |
| Find the prettiest rock outside and bring it as an offering to the Lord. | |
| Find the prettiest flower on the side of the road and say, Lord, here it is. | |
| God, I give you this offering and I honor you, Father, with the beauty that you've given us. | |
| And I looked at that moment and he said immediately, he's like, when they begin to learn and they begin to bring those rocks, he's like, there would be altars of rocks, beautiful rocks sitting there, whatever it is that they could find that they had to their name. | |
| He's like, and we began to see, he's like, God started pouring into their families, finances. | |
| He's like, he's like, many of them were business owners. | |
| He's like, so they started calling to their families at home and saying, I want a tithe. | |
| I want to tithe to this church. | |
| I want to be a part. | |
| And they begin to see the greatest move of the Lord. | |
| It wasn't about the giving, though. | |
| But see, that's the thing is it wasn't about God's not, God doesn't need your $10. | |
| It's so much bigger than your $10. | |
| It's so much greater than your $30 giving, than your $50 giving. | |
| God doesn't need that. | |
| He's God. | |
| But what he does get out of that is your obedience. | |
| What he does get out of that is you learning to have faith, to trust him, to keep giving, even when your checkbook and your finances and your bank account does not have it. | |
| He says, put me first and watch and see what I will do. | |
| Our pastor Joe here, he's our head pastor here. | |
| He's imparted something in me. | |
| He says, if you are a giver, if you want to give, he's like, God will give seed to the sower. | |
| Are you someone who wants to give? | |
| And that's been something that has radicalized my life. | |
| I'm like, Lord, whatever it is, I want to give to you, Lord. | |
| But I want to encourage you, listen, if you can't give financially, and of course, that does help support this ministry. | |
| But this is beyond giving financially. | |
| This is about saying, What do you have to offer, God? | |
| What do you have in your life? | |
| What giftings are you keeping and you're not allowing the Lord to use? | |
| What are those gifts that God has given you that He's imparted in you? | |
| What is it that you have to offer to God? | |
| Because I believe, and Pastor Brian, we are preaching and saying, Where is the excitement of the church? | |
| Where is it? | |
| I believe that it's our excitement that will lead people to the kingdom of God, to those altar moments. | |
| But you're traveling the world right now, you're seeing signs, wonders, miracles. | |
| What do you believe is different? | |
| Because I believe America's saying, Where are they? | |
| We're not seeing them. | |
| I love what you're preaching because people need to support PTL Network, the Jim Baker show, because God says this: It's our tithe that opens the windows of heaven, but it is the seed in the ground. | |
| And this is good soil. | |
| So, when people put a seed, this is where you reap a harvest. | |
| And so, God's not trying to get money from people during giving, He's trying to get money to you. | |
| So, this is an opportunity for God to get money to you. | |
| My good friend, brother John Abenzine, always says, God isn't trying to get money from you. | |
| That's right, He's trying to get money to you. | |
| And when you support the Jim Baker show and PTL, it says, And my God shall supply all my needs according to His riches and glory in Christ Jesus. | |
| But a lot of times, we misquote that it is actually a blessing that Paul was saying, You are supporting me doing missions, and this is missions. | |
| You guys are reaching the world through television, and it's a blessing when you support missions of quantity and quality. | |
| So, God is promising that I'm going to give you something back that's going to be very, it's going to be something that's full of quality, but also full of quantity. | |
| So, when you support something like PTL and the Jim Baker show, there is a blessing that people are going to get back because they are reaching people and it's a blessing of quality and quantity. | |
| And I want to give you a report because this is something that we don't tell you enough. | |
| But when you give, you're not only giving so we can preach the gospel and expand this network. | |
| I just saw an email from Charlotte, and she just wrote a check on your behalf, on the behalf of this ministry, to Jonathan Burness's ministry on reaching the listen. | |
| We don't have the funds that you think we do, we do it out of faith, we do it out of faith. | |
| As a matter of fact, we don't expect you to give, we have faith that you're going to give. | |
| Every week we're on faith, every week we're on faith, every week we're on faith. | |
| Listen to what I'm telling you: we live on Faith Street, yet we're on Gray Street. | |
| I get it, but we give on Faith Street. | |
| Oh, come on, you're going to get me going, but you are living. | |
| Listen to what I'm about to tell you, on what if circle. | |
| Yes, God doesn't deliver on what if circle, God delivers on Faith Street. | |
| Come on, yes, when you understand when God delivers on Faith Street, that is to build your faith that when you receive, you give out of Faith Street, not out of what if I had something. | |
| That's right. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| This ministry gives to Lori's house. | |
| We support Lori's house. | |
| Amen. | |
| We write Lori's house off on everything that they're doing. | |
| That should be a ministry of its own. | |
| We support the church out of this program, out of your giving, the church is supported. | |
| There's not enough money coming in in the church to support the church on its own. | |
| We give to Moldova with Pastor Phil Cameron. | |
| That's right. | |
| We give to Pastor Troy Brewer out of faith. | |
| I mean, a few months ago, we wrote a $15,000 check, not by even asking you. | |
| We just showed you what we were thinking of doing, and you supported it. | |
| That's right. | |
| Listen, we live on Faith Street knowing that God on our behalf is going to support every need. | |
| So don't ever think that it's about money. | |
| It's never been about money. | |
| It's always about faith, obedience, understanding that when you do it by faith, everything changes. | |
| That's right. | |
| Listen, this is what we need you to call. | |
| We need you to support this ministry. | |
| Call right now and say, you know what, Brother Mondo? | |
| I want to live my life on Faith Street. | |
| Come on. | |
| Thank you, Lord. | |
| I want to support it by calling the number 1-888-988-1588 and stop living in what-if circle because that is not going to get you. | |
| And God wants to deliver. | |
| Listen to this. | |
| I'm going to be quiet and turn it to you. | |
| But I want to tell you something. | |
| Years ago, when FedEx, UPS, and even the postal service were getting to deliver a package to you, they never left it outside because someone can take it. | |
| Today, Amazon just drops it off and who cares? | |
| And people take it. | |
| It is not important. | |
| What is important is that when a package is getting ready to be delivered, and if you're not there, it's being taken away. | |
| Then the process begins. | |
| But imagine when the package arrives that you're waiting for and you're there to receive it, it changes you. | |
| Oh, you didn't catch that. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| When you live by faith, if God told you that on August 8th of 2024, he was going to make you rich. | |
| Imagine how you treat people. | |
| Come on. | |
| You give it all. | |
| You treat it. | |
| You treat people disrespectfully because you know that on August 8th of 2024, I'm going to be rich. | |
| That's not faith. | |
| But imagine that a package is coming and you don't even know you make preparations. | |
| We do preparations here knowing that your gift is going to come. | |
| We have a vision. | |
| The Bible says that without a vision, people perish. | |
| The vision is growing. | |
| We're doing this event. | |
| We're getting ready to expand the network. | |
| It looks impossible. | |
| We don't have the means to do it. | |
| We want people to come in and be a part of it. | |
| But listen, it's called faith. | |
| The Bible says that faith without works is dead. | |
| Come on. | |
| You can pray all you want to for Africa, but if you don't support it financially, how are you going to change Africa? | |
| That's right. | |
| You can tell us we're going to reach the world through PTO Network and the Jim Baker family show. | |
| But if you never sent a gift, how can you expect the package to arrive to your home? | |
| Oh, man. | |
| Listen, this is what you need to do. | |
| 1-888-988-1588 and say, I want to be on Faith Street. | |
| I want the package to be delivered at that address so I can receive so we can keep moving forward. | |
| Listen, the hour is now. | |
| The world is shaking. | |
| Economically, it's uncertain where we're going to be. | |
| And some of you are moving in the natural thinking, well, I don't have enough. | |
| Listen, God is not a God that moves in the economics of this system of this world. | |
| His kingdom economic is different. | |
| He says that when you give, don't expect to be given anything in return. | |
| It's faith. | |
| But then he, just to reassure you, tell him that scripture you just quoted. | |
| That's right. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Given it shall be given. | |
| That's right. | |
| Press down, shaking together. | |
| Come on, brother. | |
| We have to have faith. | |
| It was faith to it. | |
| Entices favor. | |
| You have to have faith to please God. | |
| That is scripture right there, friend. | |
| You know, Pastor, I was doing a 14-day water and liquid fast and I was praying to the Holy Spirit. | |
| I said, pray, Holy Spirit, I need to hear something from you right now in these moments. | |
| We are desperate for a move of God. | |
| We're desperate for the next few steps that we're supposed to be taking. | |
| What is it? | |
| I'm on day 13. | |
| I haven't heard a peep. | |
| So I'm laying on my couch and I'm crying. | |
| I said, Holy Spirit, I need to hear something. | |
| Speak to me. | |
| I heard the audible voice of the Holy Spirit say, Give your way to freedom. | |
| And I'm a man who asks questions, Pastor. | |
| I said, Well, give what? | |
| Give what? | |
| Am I supposed to be giving financially? | |
| You're talking about my time, my efforts. | |
| What am I supposed to be giving? | |
| And it was silent. | |
| I said, Please tell me what I'm supposed to be giving. | |
| And the Holy Spirit said, Give it all. | |
| Wow. | |
| And I said, You know what? | |
| This is a time where we no longer need to be holding back as believers. | |
| We no longer need to be holding back, where we can be giving it all back to God, saying, God, you're only giving this to me so that I can sow it back into the kingdom. | |
| That is my time sowing back into the kingdom. | |
| Mondo, I'm always impressed by you because for the first few years, I don't think people realize this. | |
| For the first few years of Mondo working for this ministry, he didn't receive a paycheck. | |
| Mondo was volunteering his time, getting to stay in a very small little place, and he had to get his own everything. | |
| But Mondo said, You know what? | |
| I realize I'm going to invest my time into something good. | |
| And the fruit of his labor has come from that. | |
| He has a wife, he has kids, he has a wonderful, successful book. | |
| He has a television show that's syndicated across the country. | |
| But I believe that's because you sowed into the ground. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| Listen, sowing is more than what you can get. | |
| It's the grace of God. | |
| Amen. | |
| He gives you more than what you can expect. | |
| Amen. | |
| You see, we want justice. | |
| I want what I deserve. | |
| Then you have mercy. | |
| What is mercy? | |
| Mercy is what you don't get, yet you get it. | |
| Yeah. | |
| That's right. | |
| But grace is a gift that gives without you even expecting God giving you more than what you even prayed for. | |
| I want to say, I want to tell you something. | |
| This ministry shouldn't even be here right now. | |
| According to the corporate world, this ministry should have been in bankruptcy five years ago. | |
| Yet God's economy invested in faith, believing, and fasting and praying and asking God. | |
| We're here through your obedience. | |
| You had an obedience to write that check. | |
| You had an obedience where you said, God, I want to support Jim Baker and his family and the PTL network. | |
| I'm going to write a check today. | |
| Pastor Paul Heck, Pastor Paul Begley. | |
| Yeah, we love Pastor Paul. | |
| He wrote a check for $10,000 when we needed it. | |
| That's right. | |
| Miss Candace, Dr. Candice Smithingman, wrote a check. | |
| Pat Robertson wrote a check for $100,000 to this ministry when we had no way to preach the gospel. | |
| Joseph Z. Joseph Z wrote a check for $10,000. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| God is moving in this hour. | |
| There's a window right now where God is speaking to you and saying, God, what should I give? | |
| God is speaking to you right now what you should give. | |
| That's right. | |
| Not just a one-time gift, a monthly gift that will support this ministry. | |
| Because listen, this is what we would like to do. | |
| We would like to write it. | |
| I know if Dad was here, you guys know he would love to write a check for $100,000 to the next event that you're doing worldwide because the miracles are happening. | |
| The signs and wonders are happening. | |
| This ministry is about giving. | |
| We have always given, right? | |
| That's right. | |
| Always. | |
| When we had someone gave $50,000, what did that do? | |
| We didn't have $50,000. | |
| The same $50,000 that someone wrote a check for, he turned around and gave it to Philip Cameron to begin a home in Moldova to rescue the child trafficking kids. | |
| Yet, an hour later or so, we received a call that a man was going to write another $50,000 for this ministry, not even knowing what even took place. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's what you live by faith. | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, there are, Mondo, you say it best, there's non-negotiables with God. | |
| And, you know, this ministry unashamedly stands with Israel. | |
| We support Israel and what they're doing. | |
| We see an evil spirit in the world right now that is very anti-Semitic. | |
| It is taking over college campuses here in the United States of America. | |
| We see rallies from New York to California. | |
| What do we need to be doing as believers? | |
| Should we stand with Israel, Pastor? | |
| 100%. | |
| We are. | |
| And I'm telling you, I've traveled the world and I was in the Middle East. | |
| I was in Qatar and I was in a lounge. | |
| And I was watching TV there while waiting for my next flight. | |
| And what came across that television about the United States of America and Israel would almost make you think like it was the most hate speech I ever heard. | |
| And there is an agenda. | |
| And it is a demonic agenda to destroy Israel and to wipe out anyone that supports Israel. | |
|
Encounter With The Holy Spirit
00:08:12
|
|
| And we have to stand with Israel. | |
| It is absolutely crucial. | |
| Our church does that all the time. | |
| Amen. | |
| And we have to stand. | |
| There is work happening in Israel right now that is absolutely crucial. | |
| And there is a Holy Spirit move that's happening. | |
| There are people getting saved and people that are getting touched. | |
| And God is moving there. | |
| That's right. | |
| How do we pray against the spirit of anti-Semitism? | |
| You know, specifically here, we want it obviously to go away across the globe, but specifically here in the United States of America amongst our youth. | |
| How do we pray against that spirit? | |
| Well, you know, you were saying it earlier today. | |
| The youth nowadays, there is a group that is starving for God. | |
| And then there's this other group that's absolutely delusional. | |
| That's right. | |
| It is a spirit of confusion. | |
| It is a demonic, demonic spirit. | |
| And I think we need to pray that Jesus, they have a Saul to Paul experience. | |
| Amen. | |
| You were saying that in the last show, and they need the light to hit. | |
| And they need scales on their eyes until they come to the house and they need that scales prayed off their eyes. | |
| That's right. | |
| And so that's what they need. | |
| We need to pray for our youth that they have a Damascus road experience. | |
| That's right. | |
| And that's the only thing that's going to happen. | |
| They need an encounter with a living, real God. | |
| And the God we serve is alive. | |
| That's right. | |
| And yes, and he can do it. | |
| And that's what we got to pray. | |
| They have an encounter, a Damascus road experience with Jesus Christ. | |
| You know, that's so amazing because no one's too far gone. | |
| That's it. | |
| Amen. | |
| There's a man by the name of Jose the Evangelist. | |
| He was recently at the airport with Rick Renner's son. | |
| They had just done a meeting in Washington, D.C. | |
| The guys were hanging out in Starbucks. | |
| And he said, I got to go to the bathroom. | |
| On his way to the bathroom, he eyes someone very well known. | |
| And he said, I need to stop and talk to this person. | |
| He stopped. | |
| He says, can I pray for you? | |
| Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. | |
| Pray for me. | |
| Father, pray in the name of Jesus. | |
| Bless this person there. | |
| Do you want to receive Jesus Christ in your heart and give scriptures? | |
| Do you know Jesus is your personal Lord? | |
| I don't know. | |
| Do you want to repeat the prayer with me? | |
| She said, Absolutely. | |
| Father, I forgive me of my sins. | |
| Guess who it was? | |
| I'm not making any claims. | |
| I'm just telling you on your road to Damascus, a change can happen. | |
| Guess who this person was? | |
| AOC. | |
| Wow. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| God is on the move. | |
| Wow. | |
| God is on the move. | |
| Alexandra Cortez on the move. | |
| This pastor, this evangelist. | |
| I don't know what it looks like. | |
| All I know is that when they encounter the power of Jesus, Jose said this. | |
| You know what Jose said? | |
| The evangelist, he said, her countenance was different after she prayed the salvation prayer. | |
| Amen. | |
| Now my job is going to go and reach back out to her and begin to disciple her. | |
| Listen, we have to pray for Damascus Rose change and transformation because we don't know how God is moving. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| The church has got to be very careful. | |
| Yet politics is so dangerous because politics can lead you away from the salvation message for the ones that need it. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| When you're on your way, can God interrupt your plans so his plans can be fulfilled? | |
| Amen. | |
| We must always be willing to be interrupted by God. | |
| You know, you might have a way you think is right. | |
| Even the word says this. | |
| A man has a way he thinks is right. | |
| But God's ways are higher. | |
| You know, Pastor, I want to ask you this question. | |
| You travel across the globe, but how can America come to a place of true repentance? | |
| Does it begin in our churches in the four walls, or does it begin doing outreach and evangelism? | |
| Where do we see a nation coming back to a place of repentance? | |
| It starts in the church. | |
| Revival starts in a church and then the awakening, a great awakening happens in the city. | |
| So the church must change. | |
| So the church must repent. | |
| The church must come to the place where we humble ourselves. | |
| I think the church has become too familiar with Jesus in a bad way, where we just get used to coming in to Sunday service. | |
| We check our religious box. | |
| We do our thing. | |
| We do our little religious ritual and then that's it. | |
| That is not Christianity. | |
| Just because you go to church doesn't make you a Christian. | |
| And just because I sit in a garage doesn't make me a car. | |
| And I'm here to tell someone that you got to go from just going and checking a religious box to saying this. | |
| You know what? | |
| I am thankful. | |
| I am grateful. | |
| I am thankful for Jesus. | |
| I don't know when we lost our gratefulness in this country to Jesus Christ. | |
| Like we lost the joy of our salvation. | |
| We lost the simple things that made us Christians, like helping one another, supporting one another. | |
| Supporting one another shouldn't be something we even have to ask people. | |
| It should be something we know because we are part of the same nation. | |
| We're part of the kingdom of heaven. | |
| Yeah, my citizenship's not to the United States of America first. | |
| It's to the kingdom. | |
| Come on. | |
| And so we support kingdom things instantly. | |
| It should be what we do, but we've lost gratefulness. | |
| Thankfulness. | |
| We've gotten so used to coming in and doing church the way we've always done it. | |
| And we do in and check our box and we sing our three songs and a pastor preaches three points in a hymn, you know, a little poem. | |
| Man, those days got to be over. | |
| That's right. | |
| We need revival in the church. | |
| That's right. | |
| And we need revival fire. | |
| That's right. | |
| We were talking about earlier. | |
| This is what we need. | |
| I am tired of the Holy Spirit saying, we tell the Holy Spirit, you can move on a Monday night in the back room. | |
| That's right. | |
| But don't move Sunday morning during the service. | |
| That's right. | |
| Don't move Wednesday night, but you can move at Bible study. | |
| That's right. | |
| You can use Sunday school. | |
| That's right. | |
| You can have Sunday school. | |
| Why don't we ask the Holy Spirit, you can move wherever and whenever you want. | |
| That's right. | |
| And whenever we limit the Holy Spirit and say, hey, well, you can have, you know, Sunday school, but not the main service. | |
| That is when you have a group of people who know of Jesus, but they don't know Jesus. | |
| And, you know, there's going to be people who say, well, we did many miracles in your name. | |
| We cast out demons in your name. | |
| All these wonderful things. | |
| He says, but I never knew you. | |
| I never had intimacy with you. | |
| I never fellowshipped with you. | |
| Believer, there is nothing more important than your relationship with Jesus Christ. | |
| In the days we're living in, I believe we're living in the last couple of the last days. | |
| I believe we're living in the end times that we are seeing in the book of Revelation that we see in 1 Timothy chapter 4. | |
| They were all pre-warnings. | |
| We're on this journey, but what's the most important thing you can do? | |
| What is your roadmap to this if you have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ? | |
| If you know Jesus Christ and Jesus Christ knows you, the Holy Spirit's going to tell you like MapQuest used to turn left here, turn right there, stop here. | |
| There's an accident up ahead. | |
| Maybe you can detour and go around it. | |
| Our ways may seem right to us, but God has more instrumental ways. | |
| But, Pastor Brian, I want to ask you, how do we become instruments of the power of God across the globe? | |
| Well, you know, it's important that we first believe what the word says. | |
| If God says it, it's true. | |
| That's point blank. | |
| Point blank. | |
| And so if God does miracles, he's the same yesterday, today, and forever. | |
| Then the miracles are for today. | |
| I had someone when I was young in the Lord, newly saved, someone said to me, Amen. | |
| They said, you are known in hell. | |
| I was like, what does that mean? | |
| And they said, you know what? | |
| You are reaching people, doing things. | |
| And I thought this was the greatest compliment we could have on this side of eternity. | |
| That's right. | |
| To be known in hell. | |
|
Hell Knows Your Name
00:03:03
|
|
| PTO network is known in hell because in Acts 19, the demon said, Jesus, I know. | |
| Paul, I know. | |
| But who are you? | |
| Who are you? | |
| That's right. | |
| Wow. | |
| And when you're making a difference, they know who you are. | |
| Hell knows your name. | |
| Come on, Pastor. | |
| Now you're preaching. | |
| Hell knows Ricky Baker's name. | |
| Come on. | |
| Come on. | |
| And you know what? | |
| What an honor. | |
| That means you're doing so much damage to the force of darkness that they know your name. | |
| That way, they have a big sign. | |
| If your name isn't five feet high in hell, you ain't doing nothing for God. | |
| And we got to first get a place where we just start being people of action. | |
| That's right. | |
| We got to do things. | |
| And what you guys are doing, connecting businesses, preaching this word, it's doing something. | |
| And hell hates you. | |
| And I want to be known in hell. | |
| Come on. | |
| I know you are. | |
| I hell yeah. | |
| Come on. | |
| Wow. | |
| You're bringing so many things. | |
| This is revelation. | |
| I want to tell you something. | |
| You're so right about if your name is not in hell, then you're not going to be known. | |
| I remember in the streets when we went and put up our gang name on the street corners and the walls and all that. | |
| We only put up the guys' names, the nicknames of the guys that were being put in the work. | |
| They were on top. | |
| The guys that weren't doing the work did not get their names on the wall. | |
| Meaning, everybody in the neighborhood knows, I'm going to give you my name, danger. | |
| Danger was on the wall because I was putting in the work. | |
| So the police knew I was putting in the work. | |
| So they watched out for me. | |
| My enemies knew. | |
| The guys that weren't putting in the work never got up there. | |
| And they always wondered, why is my name not up there? | |
| Because you're not doing the work. | |
| Then why do you think the police always targeted me? | |
| They always came after my enemies came after me. | |
| That is the same way the enemy only targets those that the names are on that wall. | |
| If your name is not there, you ought to be questioning God, what am I doing for the kingdom? | |
| Yeah, we're trying to do everything we can for the kingdom. | |
| If you're not being attacked, you should be worried. | |
| If you're not being profiled by the enemy, you should be worried. | |
| If you're not being interrupted by the enemy, you should be worried. | |
| Because every time I watch the disciples in the gospel, they were either getting threatened, they were getting crucified, they were being stoned, they were always being interrupted by the enemy. | |
| Yet the Bible says where sin abounds, much more grace abounds. | |
| This network, I don't know all the networks. | |
| I know this network is the only network that I know that the IRS, the FBI, the FDA, the U.S. Postal Service, the this and that all came against us all at once. | |
|
Bold Enough to Preach
00:15:16
|
|
| And then we got sued by six different states all at the same time. | |
| Tell me if we're not making noise for the enemy. | |
| Come on. | |
| That's right. | |
| We're preaching this. | |
| Or towards the enemy. | |
| Listen, all I'm saying is this: that every time someone partners with this ministry, you better get it, get ready for an attack from the enemy. | |
| That's right. | |
| Your name's on that wall. | |
| And you know what? | |
| It's a privilege because, you know, the disciples were talking to Jesus and they said, eventually, I'm paraphrasing, what's in it for us? | |
| That's right. | |
| You know, the rich young ruler can't follow Jesus because he has too much possessions. | |
| And they said, well, we've left everything. | |
| You know, we've left jobs. | |
| We left homes. | |
| We left families. | |
| What's in it for us? | |
| And I'm here to tell you, what was in it for him was Peter was hung upside down by his own request. | |
| That's right. | |
| He was crucified upside down by his own request because he didn't consider himself worthy. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's right. | |
| To be hung the same way Jesus was crucified the same way Jesus. | |
| Amen. | |
| And so think about that. | |
| You know, what's in it for us? | |
| Well, you know what? | |
| We might go through some things here on earth, but we're going to spend eternity with Jesus. | |
| That's right. | |
| The greatest miracle is the miracle of salvation, going from darkness to light. | |
| We are going to spend eternity with Jesus. | |
| Eternity is forever and ever and ever and ever. | |
| And our job when we're here is to pull as many people out of hell as possible. | |
| That's right. | |
| We want no one to go to hell. | |
| No, plunder hell and populate heaven. | |
| That's what we got. | |
| That's right. | |
| I preached a sermon where I was ministering and I said, hey, who wants to be like the apostles? | |
| You know, everyone double hand raised. | |
| I said, I said, okay, then what we're going to do is we're going to talk about how each one of them died. | |
| And the room fell silent. | |
| So I went dot for dot how they lived their life, how they died. | |
| I said, there's only one considered to die a peaceful death, yet he was flogged, he was beaten, he was thrown off of things, he was boiled, and he got to die of old age. | |
| I said, but the rest of them, they were martyrs for the kingdom. | |
| I said, who still wants to be an apostle? | |
| And people are still raising their hands, praise God. | |
| But you have to be willing to go through some things, don't you, Pastor? | |
| You have to be all in. | |
| That's it. | |
| You know what I mean? | |
| And that's what we've lost in America. | |
| And that's why I think we need to get back to the basics. | |
| And I think that's why we need revival. | |
| We need all in. | |
| And that's why I believe what you said earlier is such a prophetic word for the hour. | |
| We need souls that become Paul. | |
| We need people that have Damascus road experiences because they go all in. | |
| That's right. | |
| They once were lost, but now they're found. | |
| They once were blind, but now they see. | |
| And we need people that have transformation that they've done a 180. | |
| They've changed. | |
| They're grateful and thankful for the joy of their salvation. | |
| And we have to get back to that. | |
| That's right. | |
| We have to get back to saying, I was lost. | |
| I was on my way to hell. | |
| Amen. | |
| Like Jesus rescued. | |
| And that's what PTL is about. | |
| That's what this network's about. | |
| And I absolutely love it. | |
| And that's why people need to support and people need to get behind it because it is vital that this message keeps going out. | |
| And I consider it a badge of honor. | |
| Amen. | |
| This is a badge of honor. | |
| This is incredible because from the beginning, Christian television has always been changing the way things are done. | |
| That's right. | |
| Because I want to tell you something. | |
| Before you had to go and see Catherine Kuhlman in her meetings, yet her father, your friend, Pastor Jim, reached out and talked to Catherine. | |
| He said, Catherine, you need to be on television praying the same way you're praying. | |
| He said, Jim, it's not going to happen. | |
| No, I seen it. | |
| That's right. | |
| Healing will take place when you pray over people over the cameras. | |
| For the first time in the history of television, when Catherine Kuhlman was invited to that program, she prayed for miracles, signs, and wonders. | |
| The world has never been the same. | |
| That's right. | |
| Thank you, Lord. | |
| That's right. | |
| How is it, Pastor, that miracles, signs, and wonders can take place? | |
| How do we position ourselves to see what Catherine Kuhlman once did on television and it hasn't stopped since? | |
| Amen. | |
| Can we still see it? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And it's not just for the elite. | |
| It's not just for pastors or evangelists. | |
| It's for every blood-bought, fire-baptized believer of Jesus Christ. | |
| And you know what? | |
| It is these signs will follow those who believe. | |
| That's right. | |
| And so this is our birthright in our kingdom. | |
| And so we will lay our hands on the sick and they shall recover. | |
| But we have to be bold enough to lay our hands. | |
| We have to be bold enough to speak the word. | |
| We have to be bold enough to go. | |
| And so we're going to pray for blind eyes and see them open deaf ears. | |
| That's right. | |
| I prayed for a mute man. | |
| He's probably in his early 20s in El Salvador. | |
| Mute his entire life, never spoke. | |
| And this is during the pandemic, we have a large crusade in El Salvador. | |
| I pray for this young man. | |
| I think we can send you a picture. | |
| And I say, you know what? | |
| You always got to test the miracle. | |
| I tell people that when you pray, you got to test. | |
| So there's people right now watching. | |
| And right now, as the word's going forth, if you have an illness, if you have something, maybe a pain, you need to start testing it and see if there's change. | |
| Because a lot of times the miracle will occur and you never test it. | |
| So you always got to test it. | |
| And so this boy, we pray for his tongue to be loose, this young man. | |
| And I said, well, let's test it. | |
| And I said, why don't you say, I should have picked like mama, dad dies. | |
| He's never spoke. | |
| You know what I mean? | |
| I told him to say hallelujah, which is actually kind of a complicated first word. | |
| That's right. | |
| First time he said it, he goes, hallelujah. | |
| Second time he's like, hallelujah. | |
| By the third time, he's hallelujah. | |
| Amen. | |
| That word now is embedded in my spirit. | |
| Hallelujah. | |
| When I say hallelujah, I think of a mute man in El Salvador that couldn't talk that says hallelujah. | |
| Amen. | |
| Wow. | |
| And it's those signs will follow those who believe. | |
| And this is what we're called to do. | |
| We got to get back to it. | |
| You got to get back on mission. | |
| And that's why PTL is so important. | |
| I can't say it enough. | |
| I'm a big fan. | |
| And I believe that God is moving all over. | |
| And it's because of TV shows like this. | |
| Amen. | |
| You know, we were just speaking yesterday on the show, and I think it's important. | |
| We were talking about the parable of the wise virgins and the foolish virgins. | |
| And there was a point in this parable where the five wise virgins or the five foolish virgins asked the five wise virgins for their oil. | |
| And they say, hey, you know what? | |
| No, you need to go get your own oil. | |
| While they were gone, then the groom came. | |
| It's important that we are on time with God. | |
| But what does it say that whenever they thought the groom was going to come and he didn't come, they began to fall asleep. | |
| They began to fall fast asleep. | |
| So there's a lot of time where we expect a move of God to happen in a particular way, a particular fashion, a particular time, but it doesn't. | |
| Now, you have a phrase you say, I've listened to your show. | |
| I've watched you on social media. | |
| You say, delay is not denial. | |
| Can you tell us about this? | |
| Tell us about delay not being denial. | |
| I got to tell people, a lot of times we want God to move how we want him to move, when we want him to move, and exactly the way we think it should be in our mind. | |
| And I tell people, God doesn't always work like that. | |
| That's right. | |
| And it's good to understand that just because something is delayed doesn't mean God is denying it. | |
| And we have to get to a place where we trust God enough. | |
| Dr. Summerall would always say, faith is simply trusting in God. | |
| That's right. | |
| Faith is simply just trusting in God to do what he says it's going to do. | |
| And so just because there is a delay, God may be working on the back side of the mountain and you're coming up the other side of the mountain. | |
| And so you might have to do some things on your end that God has wanted you to do because he's getting ready to move. | |
| I tell people, if you never take Isaac up the mountain, God's working on the other side, bringing the ram. | |
| How can he provide the ram, right? | |
| And so we have to understand that delay is definitely not denial. | |
| And so we have to understand we're going to keep believing. | |
| We're going to keep fighting. | |
| We're going to keep standing. | |
| We're not going to give up. | |
| See, too many Christians, if they don't get what they want when they want it, they quit. | |
| That's right. | |
| I'm done. | |
| That's Christianity. | |
| Wow. | |
| That's right. | |
| That's watered down. | |
| And that's pathetic. | |
| And there's no, where is the fighting, the good fight of faith? | |
| That's right. | |
| You know what I mean? | |
| And sometimes, okay, you don't get it when you want it, how you want it. | |
| Let's keep praying. | |
| That's right. | |
| Keep standing, let's keep fighting. | |
| The Brownsville revival they prayed for two plus years for that to happen. | |
| Mondo, what other church? | |
| I mean, I'm talking, I'm talking to 2024 right now. | |
| What church you know? | |
| The pastor says, I will contend for this no matter, even if it doesn't look like it's not going to come. | |
| I know the word of the Lord was spoken, so I'll believe it. | |
| Two years they prayed for that, and one of the greatest moves of God out of the United States of America happened because of that. | |
| Now, I believe, you know, this right here, it's a 40-day devotional. | |
| This is really speaking to my heart right now as you've been talking because I believe we need to get back to a place where we have small groups and homes, where we come as a corporate body and study the word of God to show ourselves approved together. | |
| And that's what this will do. | |
| This will edify people's souls and spirits. | |
| Miracles, signs, and wonders. | |
| They're still for today. | |
| You made it very clear. | |
| I asked you on the first show. | |
| I said, Do you believe they're still for today? | |
| You said, Absolutely. | |
| They still are. | |
| This is something, Mondo, I think every small group needs to get, every Sunday school needs to get. | |
| I'm telling you right now, this is 40-day devotional. | |
| What this is, this is 40 Sunday schools' worth of material right here that you have put together. | |
| What made you write this and take it out from your ministry? | |
| BB Interworldevangelism.com. | |
| Well, what I saw is, and especially in America, is we aren't seeing miracles, signs, and wonders anymore. | |
| And the Bible is true, whether you're in Africa or America. | |
| It doesn't matter. | |
| And so the word is true. | |
| And what I realized is that people first stopped reading their Bible. | |
| And then I realized that I felt the Holy Spirit show me that in these last days, in these end times, the miracles have to increase, not even just the way they were in the Bible. | |
| We're going to see greater works than what Jesus did. | |
| So miracles have to increase. | |
| And so I felt it was a responsibility of mine as I was traveling the world and seeing all these miracles, even at our church in LA, that I needed to write about it because people don't talk about it anymore. | |
| People just abandon it. | |
| And people, it might be a one-off here or there, but it should be the way we live our lives. | |
| That's right. | |
| And I believe in these last days to bring in the end time harvest for before Jesus comes back, there will be a great end time harvest. | |
| That's right. | |
| And miracles have to increase. | |
| And I'm believing that miracles are going to happen with people that are just watching TV, watching this show, and all of a sudden, blind eyes open, deaf ears open. | |
| You know what I mean? | |
| Lame walk. | |
| You know what I mean? | |
| They're there and they have cancer and the cancer's gone. | |
| Heart disease is gone. | |
| And God, this is, it has to increase in these last days. | |
| It is part of the reaping of the harvest that must occur. | |
| And I'm truly before Jesus comes back for that bride, which is us. | |
| That's us. | |
| And I'm telling you, he's not coming back for a dirty bride. | |
| That's right. | |
| He's coming back for a spotless without blemish. | |
| And we got to be walking in fullness. | |
| That's right. | |
| Pastor, would you pray for our partners right now? | |
| They're watching this broadcast and they're saying, you know, I need a move of God in my life. | |
| I've been contending. | |
| I've been fasting. | |
| I've been praying, but I need prayer. | |
| I need joint prayer. | |
| Can we pray for our partners? | |
| Absolutely. | |
| And if you're watching, lift your hand right now. | |
| And I declare by the power of the Holy Ghost. | |
| It's not by might nor by power, but by the Holy Spirit. | |
| I declare that miracles, signs, and wonders will consume your life. | |
| Our God is an all-consuming fire. | |
| And I declare the fire of God is going to hit you in your house right now. | |
| And you will never be the same. | |
| I declare you're going to lay your hands on the sick and they're going to recover. | |
| You're going to speak a word and it's going to come to pass. | |
| And you're going to walk in the ways of God and you're going to see your health transformed. | |
| God is going to do such powerful things in your life that you won't even recognize yourself. | |
| Even if God told you what he would do, you would not believe it. | |
| The best is yet to come for every partner. | |
| In Jesus' name, amen. | |
| You know, as we approach the end of the age, the PTL television network, the Jim Baker family show, Pastor Jim Baker has been a pioneer of the end times message. | |
| 20 years ago, when it wasn't popular to preach about the end times, he was pioneering, he was cutting through the brush, he was climbing the mountains. | |
| You know, we see more and more pastors starting to write books in continent, which is great. | |
| We need more information being put out, but Pastor Jim Baker has been faithful to this message for decades at this point. | |
| But there are going to be signs that happen. | |
| We see Matthew 24. | |
| There's signs that happen before Christ returns. | |
| Mark 13, there are roadmaps that must be played out to their fullness before, because then all these things happen, and then the Son of Man will come through the crowd in his great glory. | |
| But, Pastor, what are going to be some of the miracles and signs we see before Jesus returns? | |
| I believe in, you know, as you look at scripture, I believe there's going to be a great harvest of souls. | |
| That's right. | |
| So I believe the world will hear about the water walker, Jesus Christ, the way maker, and the miracle worker. | |
| And all eyes will be pointed to Jesus. | |
| And I believe there'll be such a harvest of souls. | |
| And, you know, I preach miracles, signs, and wonders, and I can't say it enough. | |
| The greatest miracle is the miracle of salvation. | |
| That's right. | |
| Going from darkness to light and destruction to glory. | |
| And I believe we're going to see a harvest of souls in India, in these places, too, where in Indonesia, in places where you know the gospel is hanging on. | |
| I mean, there is a small remnant of Christians that are hanging on. | |
| I go to India, my heart breaks because I mean, it was 2% a few years ago. | |
| Now it's down to 1%. | |
| It's Christian. | |
| And the government, the Hindu government, is paying people to leave their Christianity because they connect it to the British Empire and they said this is not the way you're supposed to be. | |
| They will pay them people to return back to Hinduism. | |
| And I'm telling you, it is a plague that is sweeping across the world. | |
| It's people saying it's a woke culture that's happening all over. | |
| And it's saying, you know what? | |
| This is not the way you're supposed to be. | |
| This is how it is. | |
| And I'm telling you, the Bible says that in the last days, we'll call things that are good evil and the things that are evil good. | |
| And we are seeing it. | |
| And so I believe there's going to be a radical harvest of souls in places you wouldn't imagine. | |
| Praise God. | |
| Pakistan, India, these Muslim nations, these Hindu nations. | |
| And I believe it has to happen. | |
| And I believe we're going to have a harvest of souls here in America because I think a lot of people say they're Christian and they are not Christian. | |
| That's right. | |
| And I can't say it enough. | |
| And we got to see this revival take place in the church. | |
| Amen. | |
| And I believe it's crucial. | |
| And I believe PTL is a part of that. | |
| It is the communication hub to the kingdom. | |
| That's right. | |
| Pastor, how do we prepare for the end times? | |
|
In the Center of God's Will
00:03:06
|
|
| I know we're living in these end times, but how does someone make sure that they're ready for the end times? | |
| Well, I think you hit it on nail on the head with the oil. | |
| And we better be prayed up. | |
| And we better know our word and we better be in the flow of what God's doing. | |
| I tell people all the time, and this is something I'm passionate about. | |
| Most of the time, we do what we want and we ask God to bless it. | |
| And I think we have to go from being a little bit immature in our thinking and saying, God, I don't want you to just bless what I'm doing. | |
| I want to do your will. | |
| I want to be right in the center of your will. | |
| Perfect will. | |
| Yeah, that's what I want. | |
| I don't want you, I don't want to do my own thing and ask you to bless it. | |
| And there's nothing, you know, there's nothing wrong in a stage, maybe, to do that, but I've been guilty of that. | |
| But I'm telling you, I want to be in the perfect will of God. | |
| And where God's moving, that's where I want to be. | |
| I want to be right in the center. | |
| I want to be right where, and I don't care if it's, I get attacked. | |
| I don't care if I can't explain how the bills are being paid. | |
| I want to be exactly in the will of God. | |
| And that's what I think we have to get to. | |
| I think if we want to be ready for the end times, we have to be in the exact will of God. | |
| Amen. | |
| If someone wants to look more at your ministry and what you're doing, where do they go? | |
| You have social media websites? | |
| We have a website, bbworldevangelism.com, Brian Bolt on Instagram and social media. | |
| And we have all that stuff. | |
| And so check us out. | |
| We're doing crusades this year all over Africa. | |
| And then we're going to the Amazon, which is one of my favorite places. | |
| So we're going to an indigenous tribe in the Amazon, which I've been down there before. | |
| And we were coming, and there was actually this place where the witch doctor would have ceremonies. | |
| Here we were coming ran. | |
| And so there's a sign I have, they'll probably pull it up where they would charge for the witch doctor would charge for spiritual cleansings. | |
| And I preached the gospel in there just because I had to. | |
| I was like, gather everybody up. | |
| We're preaching the gospel. | |
| So where the witch doctor would do spiritual cleansing. | |
| We saw some people give their life to Jesus. | |
| True spiritual cleaning. | |
| And actually, everybody in that village, the women especially, had an eye that was cloudy and they were blind in one eye. | |
| And just one after another, the blind eyes started open. | |
| It was a genetic thing. | |
| And the Holy Spirit just came in. | |
| And so we're going back to the Amazon and we're going to do a crusade. | |
| We're going to go from Letitia, Columbia, all the way to Aquitos, Peru by boat and hit all these villages, remote villages, and do crusades. | |
| It's a 16-hour trip if you went straight from Letitia, Columbia, to Aquitos, Peru by boat. | |
| And we're going to be stopping some real indigenous, powerful God movies. | |
| No fear. | |
| No fear. | |
| What you're doing. | |
| That's bbworldevangelism.com. | |
| You can continue to support Pastor Brian Bolt and what he's doing. | |
| And that's also where you can order your books, right? | |
|
Let Me Tell You
00:05:13
|
|
| It's not just this book, but it's other books you have. | |
| And we have merch. | |
| We have a ton of merch. | |
| Perfect. | |
| And all that goes to support that. | |
| That's the ministry. | |
| Swag. | |
| Yeah. | |
| Hey, come on. | |
| That's what Mondo has. | |
| Swag. | |
| Come on. | |
| And all this goes to support your ministry, your outreach, what you're doing. | |
| I think it's important. | |
| You know, the last few minutes of the show, if someone's saying, hey, who is Pastor Brian? | |
| Can you tell us who you are, how you became a believer? | |
| Well, you know, I was, I grew up a little bit like Mondo and at a young age. | |
| I was born in a place called Cumberland, Maryland. | |
| At a young age, I got wrapped up into a lifestyle of drugs and alcohol and took me down a dark road. | |
| And I would try to better my life, you know, do the right thing at times. | |
| And then my addiction would bring me back down. | |
| One day I was in the middle of doing a whole bunch of wrong stuff. | |
| And a guy pulled out a gun, put the gun to my head, and he shot me point blank in my head. | |
| And I remember the blood coming out of my head like a water fountain. | |
| And I was in my early 20s, and I was sitting there thinking, I'm going to die. | |
| And eventually the ambulance came and the paramedics put me in the back of the ambulance. | |
| And one of the paramedic workers said, I shouldn't do this. | |
| And he said, I'm not supposed to do this and I shouldn't do it, but I'm going to do it. | |
| And he said, you know, Jesus Christ is your Lord and Savior. | |
| I grew up in America. | |
| Of course, I heard of Jesus. | |
| You know, I heard of Jesus my whole life, but I didn't know him that way. | |
| And the last thing I did was I invited Jesus into my heart to be Lord and Savior. | |
| I woke up a week later and I got shot with a 22 caliber handgun. | |
| So the bullet pinballed and ended up embedded in my carotid artery. | |
| And so for 75 days, I couldn't eat, speak, or swallow. | |
| But I realized now the same Jesus that saved me began to heal my body. | |
| And next thing you know, God just, I didn't really know what to do. | |
| And I was on the East Coast. | |
| I had to go back to San Diego for some stuff. | |
| And I'm in downtown San Diego. | |
| And these men come up to me and said, Jesus has a plan for your life. | |
| Wow. | |
| He takes the foolish things of the world and uses them to confound the wise. | |
| And I said, well, what did I do? | |
| They said, we're having church. | |
| You want to hop in this van? | |
| So I just hopped in the van. | |
| Thank God it wasn't a cult. | |
| So I hopped in the van and I went to church. | |
| And that night I got baptized in the Holy Ghost and God just began to pour out. | |
| I went to Bible school and started churches and a whole bunch of stuff. | |
| And but God has been faithful. | |
| I'll tell you one quick little thing. | |
| I'm so on fire for God. | |
| I have this fire that just shut up in my bones, and it's always been there. | |
| So I'm there at a part of that church, and we're out evangelizing. | |
| So I go into the 7-Eleven and I go tell the guy at the 7-Eleven store, I said, man, Jesus can change your life. | |
| He can save you, who the sun sets free is free indeed. | |
| Well, before I knew it, I'm grabbing him. | |
| I didn't know I was doing it. | |
| And I'm shaking him. | |
| And next thing you know, he hits the cash register button. | |
| He said, just take all the money. | |
| Take whatever you want. | |
| That's a new story. | |
| That's amazing. | |
| That's amazing. | |
| Oh, my God. | |
| That's awesome. | |
| Take that money. | |
| Come on. | |
| That kind of shows you when you have that fire shut up in your bones, you want to evangelize every opportunity possible. | |
| That's true. | |
| If there's someone who's watching the broadcast today, maybe they don't know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. | |
| Would you talk to them right now and lead them to that sinner's prayer? | |
| Let me tell you, the greatest thing you can do, the greatest miracle is the miracle of salvation, giving your life, surrendering your will, surrendering everything to Jesus Christ. | |
| And let me tell you, it's the greatest thing I've ever done in my life. | |
| I'm telling you, it is the greatest thing I've ever done in my life. | |
| And right now, let me tell you this: His blood can save you. | |
| He lived a sinless life. | |
| He went to the cross. | |
| He shed his blood for me and for you. | |
| And let me tell you, he died. | |
| He gave up his life so we could have life and life more abundantly. | |
| But how many know three days later, early Sunday morning, the grave and hell, and nothing could contain him. | |
| Thank you, Lord. | |
| And I want to tell everyone right now: if you want to give your life to Jesus, just say this with me: say, Jesus, Jesus, I surrender. | |
| I surrender. | |
| I give you everything. | |
| I give you everything. | |
| I love you, Jesus. | |
| I love you, Jesus. | |
| I want to serve you. | |
| I want to serve you. | |
| And I just bless you right now in Jesus' name. | |
| And I'm telling you, this is the greatest decision you'll ever make serving Jesus Christ. | |
| There's nothing like serving Jesus. | |
| And let me tell you, he will save you, but he'll also give you a purpose. | |
| Amen. | |
| So don't stop. | |
| Don't stop just at salvation. | |
| Keep moving forward with Jesus. | |
| Amen. | |
| Keep moving forward, Jesus. | |
| Come on. | |
