We just want to quickly review our last lesson.
The people at home did not get to see the video of fire from the sky.
How many understood Revelation more after seeing that video last week?
That's about everybody in the house.
It is an eye-opening video.
In fact, if we go back to Revelation chapter 8, verse 7, it said, the first angel sounded, trumpeted, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood.
Fiery hailstones.
And they were cast upon the earth, and the third part of the trees were burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
And I believe that this is a meteor shower.
It is fire from the sky.
It is like hailstones on fire.
And the scientists, as we saw in this video, believe that this was literally the Chicago fire was caused by meteor shower.
And because the people at home didn't see my little map, I'm going to ask you just to follow me over here.
And I just want to show you, you know what's amazing?
This shows you how our history can be so messed up.
This shows you how even the news can be.
We can, you know, we put more news to an affair of some celebrity than we do an earth-shaking events that are just literally shaking the world.
I have the hardest time even, I have to go online to the earthquake centers and find out about earthquakes because they hardly even report earthquakes in the regular news because we're so busy, you know, talking about heartquakes, you know, people, you know, with their affairs and all their affairs of the heart and all.
And so, but on the night of Chicago fire on October 8th, 1871, if you've come to our classes, you realize that there was the great Chicago fire here in Chicago.
But the same night of the Chicago fire, on October 8th, 1871, up in the town of Pistigo, Wisconsin, there was the worst fire to this day, still, the worst natural fire, forest fire, over a million acres, a million point, I think 225 acres burnt to the ground.
The city and town of Pistigo, Wisconsin was obliterated.
Literally, in that whole area, they figure up to 2,000 people were killed that night.
Can you imagine?
A bigger fire, a more damaging fire, a more destructive fire as far as lives go was in Wisconsin, hardly even ever reported on the same night as Chicago fire.
How could a fire that far apart start in the same moment, the same moment?
And then we read, as I begin to study more, I found out from our history books that over here in Holland, Michigan, the same night, Holland, Michigan burnt to the ground.
A newly formed colony up there in Michigan, about 25 years old, 1.2 million acres burnt in Michigan.
Then I found out here that Manistee burnt to the ground and Saginaw burnt and up here around Lake Huron, these cities here burnt to the ground.
All of these the same night.
What would start fires in all of these areas?
Then I read more that in Minnesota and Iowa back in here, look at the arrow this thing makes.
That's why the scientists say that this, and they've now found meteorites buried right here at this very spot on Lake Huron.

And so there was fire from the sky, we believe, on October 18th, 1871.
And the scientists actually invented this idea.
I didn't create this idea, but I've discovered it and studied it more and more and more.
And so when we read these things in the Bible, they're not some leader falling to the ground.
Throughout history, we read in Matthew Henry's commentaries and we read in these other books that they talk about these being men and leaders falling from the sky.
I don't understand how they've ever figured all this out.
But you really have to twist the scriptures to put together some of the things that man has talked about Revelation.
I believe Revelation is very sensible.
I believe it's in a very orderly fashion.
And if you study the Bible and study the whole Bible, you're going to see.
Because literally these things, these plagues, you might say, happened when Moses tried to lead his people out of Egypt.
There was a lot of these kinds of plagues, and there was hail with fire came in that day.
And so I have no reason to believe that this isn't real fire, real fiery stones falling from the sky.
And, you know, then when we read on that the second angel trumpeted in verse 8 here of Revelation 8, 8, and it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea, and the third part of the sea became blood.
And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea and had life died, and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
I don't have any reason to believe that that's not exactly what it says.
And we began to teach last week about the Canary Islands, that there is literally a volcanic mountain.
Our scientists are talking about it.
It's on the BBC, it's having specials on it.
And there is a great mountain there that is already splitting.
And the scientists say when that thing goes, it's going to cause a tidal wave that is 2,000 and about 500 feet tall, 2,950 feet high.
That's why I've got my exact figures here.
And the wave will be up to 500 or more miles per hour, inundating all the coasts of the United States, the coast on our eastern shores and all.
So we discuss these things and realize that there are certain things that could take place on planet Earth that literally fulfill every word of this Bible.
And now we're going to get into some of the deeper things as we go on.
So let's go to chapter 9 of the book of Revelation.
And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven under the earth.
And to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
The fifth angel sounds now.
We are into some deep territory.
Key of the Infernal Abyss 00:15:29
All of this has kind of been kind of natural, nature, you know, going wild up till now.
Now we're getting into some supernatural events that are really terrifying as you look at it.
So, here's this fifth messenger, this fifth angel sounding, saw a star fall from heaven onto the earth, and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
And that word bottomless there means infernal abyss.
If you're taking notes in your Bible, I like writing it right in the Bible because I'm giving you the Greek meanings of these words as we go along, just expanding the depth of our modern English.
So, this bottomless means infernal, fire-like pit, abyss.
Pit is abyss.
The word pit, better translation really is abyss, but we don't use that word a whole lot, so pit is understandable.
But this is a horrible pit.
This is a prison.
This is a fiery prison in the earth.
Some feel this is Satan, this star that falls to the earth here.
Others believe it just to be another angel who's doing the will of God in the book of Revelation.
I'm not sure who it is.
I personally kind of tend to think that it is a God angel because it has the keys, and Jesus has the keys.
You know, Revelation 1:18, I am He that liveth.
Speaking of Jesus, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore.
Amen.
This is Jesus talking now.
This is Revelation 1:18, and have the keys of hell and of death.
So, I feel like this must be a God angel.
You know, the devil has angels.
You know that?
They're called demons.
The devil is a fallen angel.
And he took a gang with him.
Do you ever notice every time there's a church split, a group goes with him?
Well, there was a big church split in heaven, and the devil wanted to be the pastor.
And God said, No way.
I didn't say Jose because he's not, I don't think the devil's Mexican.
No, the devil's not Mexican.
No, I got too many Mexicans around here.
I won't be in trouble.
But God said, No, and cast him out, and the demons went with him.
Do you know there's millions of angels?
And I have no idea how many demons there are, but there's probably millions of demons.
And we're going to learn a little bit about this whether you want to or not.
And so, some scholars really believe this angel is the same angel over.
Look at Revelation 20.
Just flip back a little bit to Revelation 20, verse 1 there.
And some believe this is actually the same angel that we're seeing now.
These angels are messengers, it says in the Greek.
They're messengers of God.
They do God's bidding.
They are created by God, so they obey God.
You're created by God, and we disobey God.
Angels have to obey God.
We don't have to.
That's why He created us with our will.
He wants you to love Him because you want to love Him.
See, are you over there?
Revelation 20, verse 1.
And I saw an angel come down from heaven having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the devil, and Satan, give all of his names.
We've got the dragon, the serpent, the devil, then Satan, and bound him.
One angel binds the devil for a thousand years right here and cast him into the bottomless pit.
Do you know the earth is bottomless?
It is this earth as a circle.
Anything you throw into the earth, anyway, there's such fire in it, anything physical is dissolved.
I believe hell is inside the earth.
I just choose to believe that, and all the scripture seems to point that way.
So the devil was bound a thousand years, and they cast him into that bottomless pit, shut him up, set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years should be fulfilled.
And after that, he must be loosed a little season.
Of course, we'll get into that thousand-year millennial reign in just a moment.
But let's go to Revelation 9 again, back to verse 2.
And listen to this.
And he opened, he opened the bottomless pit, the infernal abyss.
And there arose a smoke out of the pit as the smoke of a great, and it means in the Greek, mega, exceedingly great furnace.
And the sun and the air were darkened, obscured or blinded, by reason of the smoke of the pit.
And this smoke billows out and it causes the sun to even go dark at this particular time.
The sun is going dark throughout this period of time.
So often we read about this.
But this smoke comes out of the pit.
And as I've studied volcanic action, these volcanoes literally cause the sun and the moon to go dark.
And we have these volcanoes as you're seeing on your screen at home.
Look at this.
This is coming out from the earth.
These are things, of course, that have already happened.
These are actual pictures of a volcano erupting and belching, literally belching just smoke until it will cover.
Volcanic action has literally killed hundreds of thousands of people on this planet.
Millions, they feel, in past time, in history.
And so here we have this angel, that this fifth angel sounds.
And I saw this star fall from heaven into the earth, and to him was given a key of the bottomless, infernal abyss pit.
And he opened the bottomless pit, verse 2.
And there arose a smoke out of the pit, the smoke of a great, mega, exceedingly great furnace.
And the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
Is this abyss the lake of fire?
I believe the lake of fire the Bible talks about is in the center of this earth.
I mean, molten lava, lava is just, this magma is literally liquid.
What is it?
It's a lake of fire.
I mean, we talk about the Bible as if it's all poetry or fairy tales or something.
But all these things are real.
Everything the Bible talks about.
It's not a fantasy story.
Everything the Bible said would happen in the last days is happening.
Daniel wrote these things down.
Men will run to and fro.
Knowledge will be increased.
All these things have happened.
The Jews have to return to Israel in the last days.
It looked impossible.
They had been wiped out.
They had been scattered to the earth.
But in 1948, the Jews became a nation again.
Impossible.
And it seemed, they had millions against them, billions of people, armies against them.
And yet, they won every war.
What's going on?
The great plan of God has to be fulfilled.
This book is real.
I want to be on God's side.
Amen.
Revelation 20, verse 10, here's what it says.
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night forever and ever.
Tossed into a lake of magma, a lake of fire and brimstone.
Revelation 9:3, and there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth, and unto them was given power as the scorpions of the earth have power.
I want you to notice, he gives unto them power as, not the scorpion, but like scorpion, a stinging poison on power.
So it was given power as the scorpion of the earth have power.
Read that again.
And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth, and unto them was given power as the scorpions of the earth have power.
What are locusts?
I study every, I've got a whole big report on locusts.
I'm not going to bore you with it tonight.
But I study every word.
I want to know, God, what are you trying to tell us?
I mean, there are so many different kinds of locusts.
When he says, you see, in the book of Joel, it talks about the sun and the moon darkening, but at the same point where the sun and the moon, he says, I'm going to restore the years the locusts have eaten.
And there's all kinds of locusts.
I mean, there's these old men locusts.
There's a clawing locust.
There's the gnawing locust.
There's every kind of locust you can think of.
And they all have spiritual meaning of spiritual warfare.
And God says, in the last days, I'm pouring out my spirit.
See, at the same time, there's going to be darkness.
Our assembly of God's scripture, we build the assemblies of God on in the book of Acts and the book of Joel.
And in the last days, God says, I'm going to pour out my spirit upon all flesh.
We say, hallelujah, and stop right there.
We never go on to the next few verses.
And, and, and, and the sun and the moon will be darkened.
See, we don't want that part, so we just don't read that part.
We read the parts we like.
But Joel says in that same chapter, in that same part of the word of God, that he is going to restore in the last days.
Can you imagine that?
The world's falling apart, and God's restoring to the church the years the locusts have eaten.
So locusts is a type of devouring, a type of evil, a type of armies.
The locusts really are grasshoppers.
I found something so interesting.
The scientists just discovered this.
They want to know where the locusts go when they're not.
You know, locusts come in swarms of millions and billions.
They devour.
I mean, they are a plague.
And so there's, do you know they monitor the locusts in the world today?
From satellite, they're monitoring locusts because it is so dangerous.
They kill whole populations.
Millions will starve if the locusts come in and eat all of the crop.
They found out that locusts are simply grasshoppers gone crazy.
The locusts are just, I mean, they're little grasshoppers.
There's certain weather patterns and moisture and certain things that somehow they go to breeding and go to multiplying and go to eating.
And when they do this, they become the locusts.
Much learning hath made me mad, right?
But 38 times in the Bible, God speaks of locusts and speaks of grasshoppers.
It's a type of the plague.
It's a type of innumerable armies.
And Judges 7, 12, the Bible talks about locusts here and grasshoppers being like armies.
And the Midianites and the Amalekites and all the children of the East lay along in the valley like grasshoppers for multitude.
And their camels were without number as the sands by the sea for multitude.
See, God talks about him in this fashion.
Anytime he's talking about the locusts and grasshoppers, it means a massive something coming.
Something really big.
Moses and the plagues, remember, if you want to go back there, I want to show you.
Because look at the similarity in what's happening in the last days that happened over when Moses was trying to get out of Egypt.
I'm amazed.
Look at, well, go to Psalms 105.
That's a real easy piece where David sort of sums it all up there.
It says, He sent Moses, his servant, and Aaron, whom he had chosen.
They showed his signs among them and wonders in the land of Ham.
Here's the first thing he says, verse 28.
Do you remember this plague?
He sent darkness and made it very dark.
And they rebelled not against his word.
He turned their waters into blood and slew their fish.
The Bible says one-third of the ocean is going to be destroyed in this one plague alone.
Their land brought forth frogs in abundance in the chambers of the kings with the frogs.
The frogs were everywhere.
He spake and there came diverse sort of flies.
Can you imagine?
Do you like flies?
Aren't they, I hate one fly.
Can you imagine all kinds of flies?
Horse flies, little flies, big flies, flies and lice.
Ladder.
And all their coast.
These people were tough.
And then he gave them hail for rain and flaming fire in their land.
The fire ran along the ground from these hail.
The gases and this fire literally came from the sky back in Moses' day.
He smote their vines and their fig trees, break the trees of their coasts.
So these things destroyed the vegetation, just as in the last days it's going to happen.
He spake and the locusts came, verse 34, and caterpillars.
And that without number.
Locusts Devour All 00:04:29
Multitudes upon multitudes.
And they did eat up all the herbs in the land, devouring the fruit of their ground.
They ate up everything.
He smote also all the firstborn in the land.
And then, you know, the plague gets down to death.
And that's where it's going to happen in the last day when God's judgment and his wrath is going to be outpoured soon as we get past chapter 11.
He smote also all the firstborn in the land and the chief of all their strength.
He brought them forth also with silver and gold.
And there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
Egypt was glad when they departed, for the fear of them fell upon them.
He spread a cloud for a covering by day.
Remember, that was by day.
And fire to give light in the night.
Now, I believe with all my heart that the fire by night and the cloud by day was the presence of Jesus Christ over the children of Israel.
The word of God.
And I have other scriptures to back that up, and we're not into that teaching right now, so I don't have time to go there.
But I believe this with all of my heart.
The cloud is associated with Jesus throughout the Bible from Genesis to Revelation.
And when he comes back, he's coming in a cloud.
All right, let's go back to Revelation 9.
Here's something strange.
Revelation 9:4.
And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree.
Now, these are the normal things that real locusts eat, right?
You know that by now.
You're locals, local, local.
You're locust savvy, right?
Are you locust savvy tonight?
I got a whole sheet here.
If you don't say amen, I'm going to start teaching more about locusts if you don't be careful.
I know too much about locusts.
I have more than I even want to know about locusts.
I know about locusts.
So come on.
Locusts eat green.
They eat life.
They eat vegetation.
But here, this is strange.
God is saying that they're not to eat any green thing nor any tree.
Things that are normal for locusts to eat.
But only those men, and in the Greek it means women, you're not left out.
Only those mankind or men or women which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
So this is very interesting now.
Is this supernatural?
Is what would bring it about?
That the people of God are not going to be stung by these creatures.
These are awesome creatures.
They are not locusts.
Read down.
We'll see what they are.
Poor John.
He's 90 years old on the aisle of Patmos.
He's there getting this vision.
And he's trying to write this all down.
And he's seeing 2,000 years.
He's seeing tanks.
He's seeing airplanes.
He's seeing warfare.
He's seeing the demon powers from hell.
And God has to show him visually how awful these demons are.
I mean, I don't know at some points if he's seeing airplanes.
You know, we have airplanes.
Remember, seeing airplanes with teeth drawn on the side of them, you know, airplanes with, you know, and our tanks have, you know, with these big turrets in the gun barrel.
You know, to him, it could look like, you know, a tail of an elephant or something waving around there with fire shooting out of it.
I mean, you know, he said, what are these things I'm seeing?
Well, listen, look as he really fights to give us all this information.
And I mean, I come to the conclusion of the book of Revelation, I just want to be ready.
I want to be on God's side if he comes before the tribulation, after mid, wherever he comes.
I want to be ready.
I want to be on his team.
I want to be on his side.
Devil's Arsenal Torment 00:15:51
There's a mess of stuff coming.
Man has got enough in its arsenals to do what God says is going to happen.
Man could do it tomorrow.
We've got enough bombs to wipe everything off the face of the earth.
So we shouldn't be smart, Alec, and cocky.
We should be down on our face before God repenting and saying, God, I'm on your side.
So Verse 5 of Revelation 9, and to them was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months, and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion when he striketh man.
And here I go again.
I studied scorpions next.
But the sting of a scorpion is not lethal, but it is poisonous.
And it sets the nerve on edge.
And there's certain types of scorpions that will give you a nervous breakdown.
I mean, they literally take your nervous system and shake it.
There's one particular species, and I'm not going to try to teach you about scorpions.
I mean it.
I'm not going there.
But it sets your nerves on edge.
It literally, these people want to die.
And I asked Lori as I was stunning.
I said, honey, have you ever had a bad drug trip?
I have never taken illegal drugs.
I've taken drugs from the drugstore, but I have never taken illegal drugs.
And I mean, just plain drugs give me the shakes, you know.
And I said, have you ever had a bad trip that you wanted to die and you couldn't?
And you couldn't kill yourself because you were so stupefied in those drugs.
You couldn't have killed yourself.
You want to, but you weren't smart enough at that moment to even get a knife and stab it into your heart.
You were just, you know, it was so urgent.
And she said, man, I've been on a few trips like that.
See, I believe drugs are a satanic baptism of the Holy Spirit.
I believe the drug trip is a little evidence of being filled with Satan's power.
And it's a lion power.
It makes you feel good for a little bit and then kills you.
I'm convinced the little bit of drug.
You know what?
The greatest psychiatrist, one of the greatest psychiatrists, one of the most brilliant men in all the world told me, he said, drug trips are just a little window into insanity.
He said, insanity is a permanent drug trip.
So that's what all of our kids are doing.
They're going insane for a few moments.
And you can live there if you want.
You can just go nuts.
I ought to take some of you down to the local mental wards and show you how great it is to be on a trip all the time, picking flies off ceilings and seeing stuff.
I'm not sure about what's happening here.
It's probably supernatural.
But this poison makes the body go crazy and they literally want to die, but they can't die.
They don't die.
Some feel that this is a spiritual warfare, literally such a warfare that it's inside of man and it's like fear.
Have you ever had a warfare of fear?
Have you ever been so afraid that it paralyzed you like the sting of a scorpion?
I believe there's going to be such fearful things.
The Bible says that Jesus even talks about that men's hearts will fail them for fear in the last days.
These things are going to be so fearful.
And could there be warfare by these demons so awful that it drives people crazy?
Could there be A drug that takes and is given to so many people that the whole, but thousands go crazy.
I don't know what this is.
I'm sure many do.
But I believe it's spiritual because there's demons involved.
But I just want to open your brain to what's going on here.
Unbridled fear and demon possession.
See, if a demon possesses you, he could keep you from killing yourself.
He usually wants you to die.
But at this point, he's limited.
He can't make you die.
Most demons come in, they make you do evil things, but demons always want to kill you in the end.
What is the end of free love?
It's syphilis, it's blindness, it's pain, it's being thrown out, it's being rejected, it's AIDS, it's all these things.
The wages of sin is death.
But these demons can't kill these people.
So that's unnatural for the demon.
Let's go on.
1 John 4:18, listen to this first.
There is no fear in love, right?
But perfect love cast out fear.
Fear hath what?
Torment.
He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
I believe Christians will not be afraid at these moments, at this moment.
They're not going to be afraid.
He keeps saying, fear not, That's why if you're born again, you're not going to be afraid at this time.
The demons can't come into you through the blood of Jesus Christ.
You are sealed with the Spirit of the living God.
You don't have to be afraid of this stuff.
I mean, that's why people are so mad at me over pre-tribulation rapture that they feel like you got to have pre-tribulation because we don't want to go through it.
Our God is able to keep us.
Amen.
He is an awesome God.
And he has it under control.
Amen and amen.
He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
So fear hath torment.
I believe this is tormenting.
I want to get through this hour with the whole book of the whole book, the whole chapter of Revelation 9.
I want you to hear all this, but I can't wait to get to chapter 10.
I'm excited because we're going to, what I live for is in chapter 10.
What I've studied for all these years is in chapter 10, and I can't wait to show you.
So we've got to go through the valley to get through the mountain.
Revelation 9:6, and in those days shall men seek death and shall not find it, and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses.
I mean, come on, guys.
Here we got now.
This is real hallucination.
But I mean, these locusts are as big as horses.
John's seen something pretty strange.
I mean, have you ever seen a close-up of a locust?
They look like sort of like a horse's head.
Did you ever see one?
You probably aren't going around like me looking for locusts, but I should bring you some locust pictures.
They're quite fascinating.
They have big square heads.
They look with eyes, you know.
Can you imagine these great big creatures?
I think they actually, some of those cheap horror movies they used to make in Japan, remember?
They just blow up grasshoppers, you know, and those are the creatures coming.
So here's John actually seeing him as big as a Japanese movie makes him look, you know.
And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle.
And on their heads were, as it were, not reality, like.
They looked like they had crowns like gold.
Not gold, like gold.
Not crowns, but as crowns.
You got to look at all these terminologies.
And their faces were as the faces of men.
They weren't faces of men, but they looked like faces of men.
And they had hair as the hair of women.
Like is another word in the Greek.
They had hair, looked like women's hair.
And their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
Is John seeing real warfare at this minute?
There's so much in this revelation.
There is warfare.
There's real warfare.
But is John seeing real warfare?
Or is he looking into the spirit world and seeing demons?
Is he seeing the awfulness of the, you know, the realization of something spiritual, a spirit, how ugly.
You know, Rick Joyner, our dear friend, wrote the awesome book about spiritual warfare.
Final Quest and several other books.
And if you read how he describes these demons, and literally these demons were riding on the backs of God's people, vomiting on them, defecating on them.
I mean, just, you know, some of you have just put up with demons riding your back.
They're not in you, but they're just tormenting demons.
And God opened the spirit world to Rick Joyner to see this in modern age.
And John has had a curtain drawn back of the spirit world, and he's seeing the awfulness of this.
And it goes on, and their hair is the hair of women, their teeth was the teeth of lions.
And they had on a breastplate, as it were, breastplates of iron.
Looked like breastplates of iron.
And the sound of their wings could have been seen air power.
I don't know.
Could he have been seeing airplanes?
And could it be something that is sprayed from the sky?
I don't know what all is going on here, except this is quite a spiritual warfare.
And it says, their wings were as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
An unbelievable roar.
Could be the jet airplane roar.
It could be the locusts.
Have you ever heard millions of locusts?
Has anybody ever seen a plague?
Have you heard it?
What does it sound like?
Horrible roar.
This man's seen it.
What does it say?
What?
Deafening and it will drive you nuts.
Deafening and it will drive you nuts.
That's a quote from this audience.
This man saw it, right?
Swear in the Bible.
You've heard it.
I've seen them coming.
I've heard it.
I heard it.
Heard it.
And swarm.
Swarm.
It is unbelievable.
Has anybody ever been in the middle when they just actually came through where you lived?
Anybody?
You have, Jerry.
Did you hear the roar?
You see all the damage afterwards.
And everything is green before them.
And afterwards, it's wiped like a desert.
Every green thing is gone.
They eat every single thing.
See, this man, tell me, it drives you crazy.
That sound.
Can you imagine that little creature?
But you got a billion of them together.
And they're making a sound, a roaring, buzzing roar.
I mean, huge.
It's loud.
So God is trying to get our attention here of what's going to happen.
And so it was the sound of chariots.
There's this roar.
And he's trying to describe something that makes a lot of noise, chariots of many horses running to battle.
And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails.
And their power was to hurt men for five months.
Demons swarm over the earth to torture the masses of people who do not have Jesus Christ in their heart.
This is some unbelievable attack of demon power.
You see, these demons have been sealed up in the abyss.
But the pit is opened.
I'll read on them.
And they had a king or foundation of power, a sovereign.
They had a leader.
This is unusual.
Grasshoppers, locusts, do not have leaders.
They just don't.
They run in mass.
They don't have a king.
Like bees have a queen, you know, but these locusts don't.
So this is unusual.
So this angel, who is in charge, or this fallen angel, there's a head demon who's going to lead this army over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit.
See, that angel is messenger, leader.
It's a broader word.
These are fallen angels, demons.
I just get real up tight when I get there.
I just want you to understand these are not beautiful angels of God.
There's two sets of angels running around.
There's devil's angels and God's angels.
Just keep that in mind.
Listen, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, meaning the Greek, a destroying angel.
A destroying angel.
Some of you have different versions of the Bible, and some of them are much better than actually than King James in interpreting some of these words for you.
But in the Greek tongue, have his name Apollion.
I'm not sure I'm saying that right, but I'll try it.
But it means to destroy, corrupt, the destroyer, or the angel of the abyss.
The pit.
Remember, the fiery pit.
We saw that smoke belching out on the screen a few moments ago from the pit.
And that smoke is going to come out.
And billions of creatures that have been prisoned there are coming out with a leader who's known here as the angel of the abyss.
The destroyer.
The destroying angel.
The corrupt, destroying angels.
Where are they coming from?
Look at Revelation 12, 9.
Go to Revelation 12, 9.
And the great dragon was cast out, that old servant called the devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world.
He was cast out where?
Into the earth.
And his angels were cast out with him.
These are demons from the abyss.
Acts 2:18 Prophecy 00:05:13
Okay, turn over now to Acts 2.18.
Acts 2.18.
You need to find out what's going on here.
This will help you to understand it.
And on my servants, that's verse 18 of Acts chapter 2.
Still rustling.
You all there now?
And on my servants, on my handmaidens, I will pour out in those days my spirit, and they shall prophesy.
Always like to remind the ladies, there you are, prophetesses.
I hear these old Male chauvinist preachers, they're so afraid to let women do anything.
God says, I'm going to pour out my spirit in the last days, and my handmaidens are going to be prophetic.
They are going to prophesy.
So women have no business saying, I got to just stay home and cook.
That's a good idea.
I like home cooking, but you've got to understand you're going to be used of God and mighty in the last days.
That's just a little extra.
You don't have to pay for that.
Verse 19, and I will show wonders in heaven above.
We've been talking about all these wonders that are coming.
This is the day of the Lord, the coming of the Lord.
And signs, where?
In.
Where is in?
In the earth beneath blood, fire, and vapor of smoke.
The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before that great and notable day of the Lord come.
So there's going to be signs in the earth.
Where do all the demons go to that are cast out?
Has anybody ever seen a demon cast out of anybody?
Anybody believe in that?
I mean, I know Methodist pastors who don't usually deal with a lot of supernatural that have had to cast demons out of people.
Catholics cast out demons.
If you hang around the church, you're going to see some demons.
No, I'm not going there.
But when we cast out the demons, where do they go?
I'm going to show you where they go.
Go to Luke 8:2.
We're going to learn a little bit quickly.
How many minutes do I have?
I'm going to finish chapter 9 here.
We're going to make it.
I can feel it.
Hurry.

And certain woman, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils.
Can you imagine how many demons there must be?
Here's one woman that had seven of them.
And one woman.
See, they don't have bodies now.
They were cast down into the earth, so they are demons.
They're demon power.
And so she had seven demons, and they were cast out.
Okay, now look at Luke 8:30.
Look at this.
Go to Luke 8:30.
I'm going to read this in NIV because it's just clear and we've got to go quickly.
Jesus asked him, What is your name?
Legion, he replied, because many demons had gone into him.
Verse 31.
And they begged him repeatedly not to order them to go into the abyss.
Hmm?
Are you following me?
A large herd of pigs were feeding there on the hillside.
The demons begged Jesus to let them go into them.
And he gave them permission.
Can you imagine Jesus even had compassion because he knew where they're heading next?
Let them go into the pigs.
When the demons came out of the man, they went into the pigs, and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake and was drowned.
Even the pigs didn't want demons.
So when the pigs died, where did the demons go?
They had to go where they were crying not to go.
The abyss, the pit.
Revelation 9:12.
One woe, grief, is past.
And behold, there comes two woes more hereafter.
Verse 13.
And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar, which is before God, saying to the sixth angel, which had the trumpet, loose the four angels which are bound.
I've never heard anywhere in the Bible of God's holy angels being bound, tied up, never.

So I believe these are four major demon powers.
These were probably the devil's assistant pastor and song leader.
Well, no, I'm not kidding.
Some feel like Satan was the song leader of heaven at one point, you know, worship, and he wanted them to worship him instead of God.
So he might have been.
I think these are four big demons.
Why?
They've been bound.
Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
Are these demonic?
And do they possess men?
Demons don't have bodies.
Demons really can't do any work.
They can't do the work unless they're inside of some human being.
They have to take over.
So I propose the thought.
These, where are they?
At the Euphrates River.
Do you know anything about the Euphrates River?
It is one of the mightiest rivers, or was.
It's a very big river.
And it goes to Syria.
It goes to Turkey.
It goes to Iraq.
Oh, my.
And they've been damming up this river.
And there's plans for at least, I don't know how many altogether, 22 dams, and they've already built dams.
By the time the river gets to Iraq now, it's a mess.
In fact, they've polluted this poor river and really messed it up.
But the Euphrates is literally, I mean, it used to, it still does.
It sustains life, but people could literally live on this river and eat on it and feed on it, and everything was there.
So this was a river of life at one time.
And it's being turned into a river of death.
But it is in such a strategic part of the world.
I'm going to give you a lesson before long because we'll hit the chapters.
But we're going to talk about Antichrist.
And I'm totally convinced the spirit of 9-11, the spirit of bin Laden, that spirit is the spirit of Antichrist.
And a lot of people want the Antichrist to be suave and sophisticated, and he probably will be.
But if you study the Bible, where this man comes from, where he lives, what he does, and who the Bible says he is, it'll blow your mind.
But these leaders in the last days will be possessed of the devil, and the Antichrist will be the devil himself.
I mean, literally Satan on earth.
And these demonic angels here in verse 15, the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour and a day and a month and a year, exact hour, day, and time.
God knows, for to slay the third part of men.
And the number of the army of the horsemen were 200,000 thousands.
That's 200 million in an army.
And I heard the number of them.
China is said to have an army this size right now.
They have an army of 200 million people.
Right now.
So when John wrote this down, if he knew anything about population, he was probably wondering, my God, I'm writing stuff down and I don't know where these people are going to come from.
But he had enough faith in God that this would be at that time.
We don't understand, even as free people, as Christians, as Americans, we have made enemies and millions of believers that are not believers in Jesus Christ believe that we are the great Satan and they are determined they will do everything to destroy us.
It is perfectly understandable these warfares and these battles, how they're going to take place.
This is the warfare of the ages, people.
There has been a battle since the beginning of time between good and evil.
Abraham made a mess of things when he took the promise of God and couldn't wait and he took it into his own hands.
And he went into the tent with his maid.
And after that, we have had warfare.
And there's warfare in the heavenlies.
The devil is the prince of the power of the air right now.
He's been cast down to this earth.
And this battle, as we see in the book of Revelation, it just is growing and growing and growing until God's going to finally intervene.
And we are going to have a thousand years of almost awesome reign on earth that you are going to lead if you stay saved.
And I mean, I believe in staying saved, but I mean, if you're ready, you're going to rule and reign with Christ if you're truly born again.
And then after that, we've got eternity forevermore.
So here we have the number of the army of the horsemen or 200,000, 200 million.
And I heard the number of them.
9-11 is a little picture of the enemies that hate us.
They are willing to die to kill you, to kill me.
They have a passion.
I believe there's some sort of holy war that's going to take place, demon-possessed war, that'll bring 200 million armed warriors into this great war.
I used to wonder how this could be.
I spent a lot of time in Jerusalem and a lot of time in the Holy Land.
I'm telling you, all you got to do one day, all you got to do is by accident some Christian bomb the mosque on the Temple Mount.
And if we dare intervene in that kind of war, millions will die.
They'll just come in piles to die, to defend their holy places.
You don't understand the warfare of the ages.
Thus I saw the horses in the vision and them that sat on them having breastplates of fire and deep blue and brimstone sulfurous in the heads of the horses whereas the heads of lions out of their mouth.
And actually, it says openings in the earth in the Greek, the front edge of a weapon.
So here's a description again of warfare that John's trying to tell us.
You know, they had horses, but they weren't horses.
They had heads like lions.
There issued fire and smoke and brimstone out of their mouths.
Could these be tanks?
Could these be warfare?
Could these be guns?
I don't know.
But by these, there was a third part of mankind, men, killed by the fire and by the smoke and by the brimstone.
Do you know what brimstone is?
Brimstone is sulfur.
Sulfur is found in meteorites, found in volcanoes, found in hot springs.
It's a factor of acid rain, a poison.
It is made, black gunpower is made, gunpowder is made out of it, explosive, and chemical warfare that literally would cause death quickly by paralysis of your lungs.
It says it's issued out of their mouth.
This is a picture of the kind of warfare we have in the last days.
And it says, you know, that two, math, figure the math on this, two billion people will die in this warfare.
And I wonder if maybe to kill this many people, if nuclear warfare won't be involved in this great last battle, closing now.
For their power is in their mouth and in their tails, for their tails were like unto serpents, and they had heads with them that do hurt.
It could be tanks.
I don't know.
John is looking 2,000 years in the future.
Remember, he would know nothing about cars, tanks, planes, and bombs, and no words to describe them.
And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues, yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, idols, of gold, of silver, brass, stone, and of wood, which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk.
Neither repented they of their murderers, nor of their sorcery, their drugs, poison, spell-giving portions, nor their fornication, their adultery, their incest, their idolatry, their harlotry, nor of their thefts.

Here we are in an unbelievable moment.
And we'll just review a few moments in our next lesson, and we will be at Revelation chapter 10.
And we're going to find out who this is in our next study.
Father, I pray that you'll be with us.
Lord, that you will help us to hide your word in our hearts that we'll not sin against you.
Oh, God, anoint our ears in our hearts now as we've heard these things.
Help us not to be afraid, oh God, I pray, but to have peace that passes any understanding.
