Seeing Over Hearing

| Miss Sarah, what are some of the ways that people may be blocking from seeing the spirit realm? | |
| Well, I think just to pick up on that and then segue into that, if that's all right, I think one of the key scriptures, and you were talking about that earlier, God closing our ears so that we see and vice versa. | |
| I think we take a look at John, you know, Revelation 1.12 says, I turned to see the voice. | |
| That's what John said. | |
| Isn't that a bizarre thing? | |
| I turned to, not to hear the voice, but to see the voice. | |
| So he was hearing the voice and it provoked him to look to get the revelation of Jesus that we read in 1 Revelation, which blows your mind. | |
| Jesus with the eyes of fire, glowing metal. | |
| And I think, you know, the fullness of that is available to us when we, again, bother to train our senses. | |
| But there are blocks to it. | |
| There are blocks of fear because we just think, well, I'm not even going to look because I don't want to see anything dark. | |
| Therefore, I'm not even risking seeing anything light because I'm scared of what I might see. | |
| So therefore, we have to understand our authority in Christ, that all authority has been given to us, Matthew 28, as Christ has. | |
| And so that sense of actually we come in knowing we're equipped, knowing we're powerful, knowing we're de la Vegas, you know, we can take it on. | |
| You know, we have the authority of Christ, right? | |
| We have that power of the word of Christ in us. | |
| You know, we can go, we can move, we can shift, we can displace. | |
| Therefore, we should never be afraid. | |
| But we often are partnered with fear, fear of future, fear of failure. | |
| Can't access that. | |
| I had an instant fear of the dark, which, again, I talk about in the book. | |
