Seeing Jesus First 00:01:57
It's important to start with seeing Jesus first and look for Jesus first because we can get off track really fast.
We can get disconnected from Jesus really fast.
And I've seen that over the years where seers think that whatever they see is more important than actually being submitted to authority in Christ and in the church context and being isolated and also looking at this is what the demons are doing, this is what the demons are doing.
Now we can get a little bit fixated on that.
Like you said, we need to see it so that we can know how to deal with it.
But we must look what God is doing first.
And read Daniel.
He sees, he has this amazing vision in Daniel 8.
And you can look and it's all, you know, what is going to happen that is dark.
But then if you keep watching, he then sees the Lord on the throne and what's the victory at the end?
So don't look at half a vision.
Don't look at half a room.
Like you say, look at the full.
Take the time.
I think because we travel a lot, we have the opportunity when we go somewhere new.
People will invariably say, now, what do you see about this region?
So listen, if you saw what the dark, what the enemy planned for that region, but you didn't see what God wanted to do in that region, then what's the point of seeing what the enemy wants to do?
You wouldn't have the power or the want to or the faith or the anointing to fix what the enemy is trying to do anyway.
So I would really rather see what God wants to do in a region.
And I do that a lot in places I go.
This is what God wants to do.
Here's what the enemies tried to do.
But because of what God wants, the church of God will rise up to where God wants.
And we can counter that.
That's right.
Don't give half a revelation.
Don't give half a revelation.
Give it in balance.
Be the balance.
Give what God is doing.
And I see the other side where people only see what God wants to do and then they don't see how the enemy counterattacks.
You've got to remember that it was Jesus himself who said that the thief comes to steal and kill and destroy.
So even at some point, Jesus saw what the enemy wanted to do.
He just didn't spend his whole life running around trying to fix what the enemy wanted to do.
