Inviting Jesus into Time
00:02:15
|
|
| Are you talking about time? | |
| Are you talking about the fact that they could, with God, you can erase history even? | |
| Do you understand what I'm trying to say? | |
| I do. | |
| Listen, here's, I'm not saying that you can change what has happened. | |
| What I'm saying is you can take away the sting of what's happened because Jesus is there. | |
| So, which if I can just kind of submit this to you, if you invite Jesus into your past, and again, if you can invite him into your now, you can invite him into your past or you can also invite him into your future. | |
| And let me just kind of, let me tell you how I know that. | |
| I know that because I can invite him to be with me right now and also, sir, to be with you right now. | |
| He can be in both places at the same time. | |
| And we know that he can. | |
| Well, space is in perfect continuum with time. | |
| And if Jesus can change matter, and he can, he can change matter. | |
| If Jesus can change space and he can, he can also change time. | |
| And if he can enter into matter, if he can walk through walls, if he can change water into wine, if he can heal sick bodies, then he can also manipulate and actually change time. | |
| A real good, so the shameful, every now and then I will remember something shameful or terrible and go, man, that thing, oh my gosh, I wish that that had never happened. | |
| Here's what's real. | |
| I can invite the presence of Jesus into that place, even though it was 30 years ago. | |
| And I can say, Lord Jesus, be made manifest in my life 30 years ago. | |
| And that moment, I have to mark that moment and I have to be able to say, okay, that is a place that is non-redeemed. | |
| And that's part of my territory. | |
| It's part of my promised land that I'm responsible for. | |
| I'm going to serve King Jesus in that place by literally inviting him in. | |
| Once Jesus is made manifest into that, the curse from the terrible thing that happened stops. | |
| Oh, death, where is your sting? | |
| Oh, grave, where is your victory? | |
| Because the presence of Jesus is there. | |
| Suddenly, chains begin to fall off of me. | |
| Suddenly, whatever things that I had picked up because of the terrible shame that I had from that terrible thing that I went through no longer has any more effect because now I see Jesus in that place. | |
