Leviathan's Grip 00:03:04
You need to know what this spirit does.
There's 12 things that I teach about that this Leviathan spirit deals with.
So I'm asking, Ricky, you got one?
Yes.
You know, one of the main things that you've taught us over the years, one of the biggest things that the Leviathan Spirit does is it keeps you from your God-given goals, your God-given potentials.
It wants to strip that part away from you because if you have that stripped from you, you have no motivation.
You kind of can fall susceptible to the rest of his tricks easier.
And that happens to you, do you think?
Honestly, yes.
You know, I'll have this, I'll have this passion inside of me.
I'll have this vigor, and I'm getting through it.
And then halfway through, I'm like, you know what?
I just, I don't know if I want to finish this.
I don't know if I want to continue on with this project.
I start procrastinating.
And I realize there's something trying to attack what I'm doing for God.
If you feel like giving up, how many ever feel like giving up?
You say, oh, I just can't face it.
And that's Leviathan.
Mondo, you give me one.
I love this one.
Covenant-breaking spirit.
We see that over and over.
People start out with a handshake or a contract, and what happens in the middle of that?
They betray you.
They walk away right in the middle, right before God is about to move.
They break their promises, and that will begin to collapse the dream, the goal, the vision.
And even there's people walking away from their families today, breaking the covenant that once they got up on the altar and the pastor blessed it, and they said, I do.
What happens?
We're seeing families being destroyed.
People are walking away from their families.
Hey, Lori, you got one.
That's the spirit that is happening today.
I just want to go quickly through it.
Well, what happens is it gets in your flesh and it gets in your thought life.
You know, another thing you said is it makes you feel overwhelmed.
It makes you feel hopeless.
That's one of the big things, hopeless.
What else did you learn?
I learned this: that the spirit of God is greater than the spirit of Leviathan.
Greater is he that is in you, the Bible says.
This spirit that's in America, that's in the world right now.
Only God can overcome it.
Amen.
Only God can overcome what's going on.
We have warfare in America.
We're in a civil war.
Yes, we are.
Between good and evil.
That's what this is about.
Trying to tear everybody up, everything that America stands for.
We're all fighting each other, it seems like.
All right, what's another one, Ricky?
This one is the spirit of pride.
The Leviathan definitely sparks up that spirit of pride because he wants you to believe that you can do it on your own because you don't need God at that point.
Brings despair and fear.
Yeah.
Which is so true.
And, you know, I'm glad I got to read that one because even this morning, I had that because just of situations around me, not about me, but about other people that I love dearly.
Accepting Faith Over Fear 00:00:44
And I've had one after another all morning long.
And my heart's broken.
I felt, you know, I want to fix that.
I can't.
But that fear started grabbing hold of me.
And I literally looked in the mirror as I was getting dressed this morning.
I said, I am not going to accept the spirit of fear.
I am going to accept the faith.
I'm living by faith.
Amen.
Faith is the opposite of fear.
And I had to take that thought captive immediately.
Otherwise, I probably wouldn't be here at the show today.
And I'm not that kind of a person.
Like, I'm here no matter what.
And I'm like, I can't believe that thing's trying to come on me.
So, really, that was a Leviathan spirit.
