If we ever forget that we're one nation under God, then we will be a nation gone under.
Where we are no longer a Christian nation.
I believe God is trying to say to this nation, I'm giving you one last merciful call.
Hello, everybody, and welcome to today's episode of Revelation in the News.
I'm Zach Drew.
And I'm Sasha Vols.
A lot of people in the prophetic community and in the scientific community are warning that great shaking is coming.
We actually just got off the set of the Jim Baker show, and Pastor Jim Baker gave his word for 2017.
And he said, get ready.
A lot of shaking is going to take place.
Now, I believe it's shaking in the spiritual realm and in the physical realm.
And he believes that this great shaking is going to lead to an incredible harvest throughout the world.
Now, a harvest for souls, a harvest for Jesus.
Now, we're going to be dealing with an article today, and it's called Hollywood Fantasy, a tidal wave disaster is just waiting to happen.
Earthquakes have been in the news lately, and I'm telling you right now, it's just going to increase.
Actually, in Matthew 24, when the disciples came and asked Jesus, what's a sign of your coming?
What's the world going to look like?
One of those signs was an increase in earthquakes.
Earthquakes in various places throughout the world.
I want to share something with you that you may not have heard.
And if you haven't, well, it's going to shock you.
The increase of earthquakes that has happened in the world in the past 30, 40, and 50 years.
Did you know that in the 1970s, and you can go look this up, the U.S. Geological Survey?
Okay, here we go.
In the 1970s, the world, I have an actual here, right here, 1973, throughout the whole world, 4,539 earthquakes.
1974, 4,528 earthquakes.
Something really strange happened in the year 2000.
In the year 2000, it jumped up to nearly 20,000 earthquakes.
Now, does that sound like an increase to you from the 70s, dealing with three to four to 5,000 earthquakes per year?
And then out of nowhere in the year 2000, it jumped up to nearly 20,000 earthquakes.
Is that an increase in earthquakes?
When you think of how much it's increased just in these amounts of years, it shows how close we are to seeing something major happen in our lifetimes.
And you know, and once again, from the year 2000 and the 2001 and 2002 and 2003, it was always the same thing.
19,000 earthquakes, 22,000 earthquakes, 20,000 earthquakes, 19,024, 2021.
It just kept going and continuing.
So now that's an increase.
That's a crazy increase just since the 1970s.
But it gets crazier than that.
In the year 2012, well, once again, 2012 was 19,492 earthquakes.
And in 2013, something broke.
Something started to shake within the earth.
Because in 2013, it jumped from roughly 20,000 earthquakes per year to 89,622 earthquakes.
Wow.
That's how many earthquakes took place in 2013.
In 2014, 118,404.
In 2015, 118,955.
And now we're in December with still a couple of weeks left to go.
And there's already over 111,000 earthquakes just in 2016.
Listen, Jesus said, a sign of what the world is going to look like before I come back is an increase of earthquakes in various places.
And those particular verses in Matthew 24 are talking about the time of sorrows, that brief window of time before the tribulation starts.
believe that we are there and now scientists are actually warning yeah about now this is this is crazy We're talking about hundreds of feet of water if this would take place.
The Canary Islands.
Talk about that, Sasha.
Yeah, I have that article right here, and it's actually from The Mirror.
Earthquake Threat Unfolds 00:09:22
It says, UK facing tsunami threat after unstable Canary Island.
It says, unstable volcanic activity and volcanic land in La Palma, Canary Islands, could trigger an eruption and set off the natural disaster.
Research suggests that a part of the land of the volcano Island of Man could break away and smash into the Atlantic Ocean.
This could result in a huge tsunami.
The looming tsunami would travel faster than a jet aircraft and would devastate more of southern Britain as well as the southeastern seaboard of America.
Reports say.
Dr. Simon of the University of College of London said that the country needs to prepare for the natural disaster, which would wipe out the whole towns and travel several miles inland.
It could be several meters high, and depending where you are, how much energy the wave has, it will come in and smash all of that land.
Yeah.
You know, I have another article here.
It says, Hollywood Fantasy Question Mark.
Tidal wave disaster is just simply waiting to happen.
This was a crazy reading.
And I see most people have no idea what's taking place in the Canary Islands right now.
It says within the article, it has everything you could wish for in a cliche-ridden disaster movie.
A beautiful volcanic island in the Atlantic is on the brink of catastrophe, catastrophic collapse, and threatening to unleash giant waves that will wreak havoc around the globe within hours.
And it says here, it says, and while scientists try in vain to make their concerns heard, the world's governments look the other way.
A leading expert claimed the doom-laden scenario was not only real, but was being almost completely ignored by people in power.
Bill McGuire, the director of the Benfield Craig Hazard Research Center at the University of College in London, he says this place, it's on the brink of breaking.
This volcanic island, this La Palma in the Canaries, is on the brink of breaking.
And if it does break, this is what he says is going to happen.
It's going to travel at speeds of up to 560 miles an hour.
Huge walls of water will tear across the ocean and hit islands and continents, leaving a trail of destruction.
Mega tsunami waves are much longer than the ones that we're used to.
You see, if this breaks, he says it's going to trigger a mega tsunami.
A lot of people have never even heard of a mega tsunami.
You see, a mega tsunami isn't just one big wave that hits the coast.
It continues to hit the coast for 10 or 15 minutes.
So imagine a wave hitting the coast for 10 or 15 minutes, traveling at over 500 miles an hour.
He says one of these keeps coming in for, like I said, for 10 or 15 minutes, according to the professor.
It says, computer models of the islands collapse show the first regions to be hit with waves topping 100 meters.
That's 330 feet.
330 feet waves traveling over 500 miles an hour.
And it'll reach the neighboring Canary Islands first.
And within a few hours, the west coast of Africa will be battered with the same size waves.
And between 9 and 12 hours after the island collapses, waves between 20 to 50 meters, that's 164 feet high, will have crossed 4,000 miles of ocean to crash into the Caribbean islands and the eastern seaboard of the U.S. and Canada.
Wow.
I mean, how crazy is that?
Whenever the Bible says that the seas will, they'll crash and it'll cause men's hearts to fill them for fear.
You know, this puts that in perspective because, you know, you go to Hawaii and you see these huge waves of 20 or 30 feet.
It's like, well, I don't see people on the coastal lines having heart attacks.
Well, if you saw a wave 330 feet in the air traveling over 500 miles an hour, yeah, I believe these are prophetic events.
Yeah, and they're saying right here the quote, when the professor says, it's not a matter of if the rock plunges into the ocean that will trigger these giant tsunami waves, but when.
We have to start thinking about these things and praying against these types of events because no matter what, the Bible says these things will happen.
But we have to start making ourselves aware of it and start praying for the people on these coastal lines.
We have to start looking into these events and knowing what is going to come because when this does happen, it will be a global catastrophe.
Yep.
And you know, you know, I'm just reminding you, you know, it's just crazy that we had planned to talk about all these crazy earthquake articles that are happening within the news.
Another article today is enormous earthquakes hit both sides of the Pacific and experts warned that San Andreas could unzip all at once.
This whole show is just talking about all the things that the scientific community is saying is coming with the earth shaking.
And then us looking at the U.S. Geological Survey and reminding ourselves of Jesus' words that before I come back, earthquakes are going to be everywhere.
And in the 70s, experiencing 2,000 to 3, 40,000 earthquakes every year, and that being consistent for a couple of decades.
And then the year 2000, it shifted to where it was nearly 20,000 earthquakes every single year.
And then in the year 2013, it shifted all over again, 89,000 earthquakes.
And every year since then, it's been over 118,000 earthquakes.
And we planned all this, not having any idea that we were going to be taking part in the Jim Baker show this week, Sasha and I.
And Pastor Jim comes with his word for 2017 saying great shaking, shaking, shaking, shaking, is coming to not only the world, but to the church.
Actually, right after the election, after Donald Trump got elected, he believes it was a prophetic word that a city in New Zealand was hit with an earthquake.
And it was actually a really large earthquake.
It was over a 7.0.
And this city that was hit with this incredible earthquake was in New Zealand, and the city's name was Christ Church.
Yeah, I didn't even know it.
There's actually a city in the world named Christ Church.
And it was that city that right after the election was hit with this incredible earthquake.
And he believes, and many other prophetic voices in the prophetic community believe that, yes, a great shaking is coming to the body of Christ.
And, you know, and it could be a great thing.
I know that for me personally, I came to know Jesus in a real and powerful way my junior year of high school because everything in my world was shaking.
Everything in my world was shaking.
And I believe that the natural shaking in the world is going to be paralleled with the spiritual shaking, where many in the world, and obviously in the Christian church, many of us unfortunately are on a fence.
We're on a fence right now, and we're not really hardcore for God, but we're not completely out either.
The Bible talks about being lukewarm.
And I believe that such a great shaking is going to be coming to the world, you know, in the spiritual realm.
Yeah.
It's a 9.0 in the spiritual realm.
Now, imagine a 9.0 hitting in the physical realm.
Even if you desperately wanted to keep standing, you couldn't.
You had to fall.
You have to fall.
Even if, let's say, to put it in perspective, let's say you're on a fence post, on a fence, and a 9.0 earthquake came.
This is a silly example.
But if a 9.0 earthquake came, even if you desperately wanted to stay on that fence, you clang on with everything you have, you wouldn't be able to.
You'd be either flung to one side or the other.
And I believe that such a great spiritual earthquake, and I believe that these physical earthquakes are going to happen too.
But I believe such a great spiritual earthquake is going to happen that you're no longer going to have the convenience or the opportunity to stay on the fence any longer.
The world is either going to have to choose to serve God or to not serve God.
We are in those time of sorrows.
The earthquakes are increasing.
We're there.
And that window, like I said, is the window before the great tribulation starts.
Well, and that all starts with the church, though.
You have to think about even with the earthquake that hit Christ's church, it starts with the body of Christ.
And that's where judgment comes.
It's the body of Christ.
We have to wake up and realize that there's no longer a time that we can sit around and say, well, I praise God.
I go to church on Sundays.
I help my community out.
This is so much bigger than that.
This is so much more than that because this is the true time of the harvest.
This is the true time that we are going to see miracles.
We're going to see amazing works.
But right now, we have to get grounded again.
We have to remember why we do this.
We have to remember why Jesus died for our sins so we can be able to spread that true love to others.
Because if we don't even know that within ourselves, we may know it and remember it.
And that's why we go to church on Sundays.
But that's not going to be enough to carry us through these times, to be able to win other people to the Lord during these times.
And that's why right now we have to, have to get back into the Word of God.
There's been such a strong feeling within just all of us, and we've seen it, just within the church, that there is something taking place, a shaking that's starting, but we're going to see so many things happening, and we have to get into the word because these things are going to happen according to the word of God.

But we have to make sure that we know so we can warn others and we can be able to bring them hope and peace during these horrible times.
That's right.

This Christmas season.
And I just want to end the program by talking about the very first Christmas gifts that were ever given.
A little bit different for Revelation and the news, you know, current events.
But today we're going to talk about Christmas just for a couple of minutes.
The very first Christmas gifts ever given.
You know, I was actually just ministering once again on the Jim Baker show a couple of days ago, and I had the opportunity to talk about this.
That in the Word of God, every single thing throughout the entire Bible from Genesis to Revelation, I believe it's all strategically placed by the Holy Spirit.
That every single detail within the Word is there for a reason.
Even down to, you know, you're reading a particular passage and you see a certain number of people that are mentioned.
That number of the people that are in that passage, it's important.
Or let's say you're reading a particular passage and there's a particular character in that passage.
Find out what his name means in Hebrew.
And it's going to further illustrate what that very passage was about.
Everything is strategically placed by the Holy Spirit.
So therefore, whenever Jesus was in Bethlehem and that the wise men came and gave Jesus and his family gifts, why did the Holy Spirit decide to let us know what those gifts were?
If it's there, why did they just say, hey, they brought gifts to Jesus?
Why?
Three gifts and why those three specific gifts, names of what they were.
Let me tell you why.
Because according to the Old Testament, Jesus had to fulfill three primary roles.
And those three primary roles were king, priest, and savior.
And savior.
You know, he ultimately was going to have to die for us so that we could experience eternal life with him, being our savior.
Now, they gave him gold, frankincense, and myrrh.
You see, all throughout the Old Testament, gold always symbolized kingship.
Frankincense was a spice used throughout the Old Testament for priestly duties.
So you have king and priest and myrrh.
Why myrrh?
You know, myrrh's primary use was for embalming people.
What an odd gift to give a baby.
You know what I'm saying?
But it was symbolic that he was ultimately going to die for us.
And even myrrh, even another detail about myrrh, myrrh gives off its characteristic scent whenever it's crushed.
So even the very first gifts ever given during the Christmas season to Jesus of gold, frankincense, and myrrh spoke of the prophetic rules that he was to fulfill for you and I, being our king, being our priest, and ultimately dying for us and being our Savior.
How awesome is that?
Don't lose sight of that during this Christmas season.
